Title
Copilot must be disabled for Windows 11.
Control
Run the following PowerShell command as an administrator: Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Where-Object { $_.Name -like "*Copilot*" } If Microsoft.Copilot displays, this is a finding.
Discussion
Some features may communicate with the vendor, sending system information or downloading data or components for the feature. Turning off this capability will prevent potentially sensitive information from being sent outside the enterprise and uncontrolled updates to the system.

Fix
Open PowerShell as an administrator. Run the following commands: Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers *CoPilot* | Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers -Name "Microsoft.Windows.Ai.Copilot.Provider" | Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online | Where-Object {$_.DisplayName -like "*Copilot*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online Note: Major Windows feature updates may reprovision default AppX packages. Running the PowerShell commands in a script as a post-update task or deploying it via a startup script is highly recommended for persistent environments.
