| CVE-2026-14459exploit | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Improper neutralization of argument delimiters in a command ('argument injection') vulnerability in TUBITAK BILGEM Software Technologies Research Institute pardus-software allows Argument Injection. This issue affects pardus-software: from <= 1.0.4 before 1.0.5. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57830exploit | 8.8 high | 0.00% | ollyo, helix_ultimate | Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Unauthenticated arbitrary file deletion in Helix Ultimate < 2.2.7 - The Joomla extension Helix Ultimate is vulnerable to an unauthenticated arbitrary file deletion. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-92744exploit | 8.7 high | 0.00% | delinea, privilege manager | Under certain conditions, privilege manager agent allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code as LocalSystem. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2026-50053exploit | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A request attribute override vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows unauthenticated requests to /h/* to populate servlet attributes intended for trusted internal dispatch. RestFilter copies URL parameters specifying an authentication token, target account, target item and dispatch state into the request attributes consumed by the Classic Web Client. Combined with CVE-2026-10632 on ZCS 10.1.16, this allows an attacker to supply their own valid token and document identifiers and execute JavaScript in another user's signed-in browser session. ZCS 10.1.17 blocks that XSS chain by changing the document renderer, but retains the request attribute override. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-116191exploit ×2 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | rclone | Rclone before 1.75.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in serve webdav that allows unauthenticated attackers to write above the served root by sending an unvalidated '..' path component. Attackers can send MKCOL /.. to plant a VFS node, then PUT, MOVE, COPY, or MKCOL to create, overwrite, or delete files belonging to other tenants. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33317exploit | 8.7 high | 0.00% | trustedfirmware, op-tee | OP-TEE is a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) designed as companion to a non-secure Linux kernel running on Arm; Cortex-A cores using the TrustZone technology. In versions 3.13.0 through 4.10.0, missing checks in `entry_get_attribute_value()` in `ta/pkcs11/src/object.c` can lead to out-of-bounds read from the PKCS#11 TA heap or a crash. When chained with the OOB read, the PKCS#11 TA function `PKCS11_CMD_GET_ATTRIBUTE_VALUE` or `entry_get_attribute_value()` can, with a bad template parameter, be tricked into reading at most 7 bytes beyond the end of the template buffer and writing beyond the end of the template buffer with the content of an attribute value of a PKCS#11 object. Commits e031c4e562023fd9f199e39fd2e85797e4cbdca9, 16926d5a46934c46e6656246b4fc18385a246900, and 149e8d7ecc4ef8bb00ab4a37fd2ccede6d79e1ca contain patches and are anticipated to be part of version 4.11.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-74034exploit | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Wazuh from 4.1.0 before 4.14.8 contains a missing origin check in wm_agent_upgrade that allows enrolled agents to issue upgrade_custom commands with attacker-controlled file_path. Attackers can inject an upgrade_custom message over the agent channel to read arbitrary files as root, exfiltrating /etc/shadow and client.keys. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46391exploit | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | HAX CMS helps manage microsite universe with PHP or NodeJs backends. Starting in version 9.0.1 and prior to version 26.0.0 of @haxtheweb/open-apis, multiple functions conduct substring-only matching to validate hostnames to which basic authorization should be sent. An attacker can append the matched substrings to an attacker-controlled endpoint and capture authentication. Version 26.0.0 fixes the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-7574exploit ×2 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Anthropic Claude Desktop Cowork VM image handling (confirmed across v1.1348.0 through v1.2278.0, including v1.1348.0, v1.1617.0, and v1.2278.0) validates only file presence and a version marker string before booting rootfs.img, but does not verify image content integrity at time-of-use. A local attacker with unprivileged code execution as the victim macOS user can modify the VM root filesystem image and have it trusted on subsequent Cowork VM boots, enabling persistent arbitrary code execution in the VM and access to host-mounted directories. The estimated CWE mapping is CWE-353 (Missing Support for Integrity Check). | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55794exploit | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). In versions 5.9.0 and above prior to 5.10.0, control panel users with the ability to edit entries can execute unsandboxed Twig code via the HTTP Referrer header, potentially leading to authenticated RCE. The issue happens when a user is saving entries. Strings for a signed redirect URL are being compiled as a Twig template via renderObjectTemplate(), and while a sandboxed alternative already exists (renderSandboxedObjectTemplate()), it is not used in this case. This signed URL can be specified by users, as it is reflected in the “Referer” HTTP request header, which is under attacker control. This issue has been fixed in version 5.10.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57829exploit | 8.7 high | 0.00% | ollyo, helix_ultimate | Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Unauthenticated stored XSS in Helix Ultimate < 2.2.7 - The Joomla extension Helix Ultimate is vulnerable to an unauthenticated stored XSS. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113870exploit ×2 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | MongoDB Compass improperly escapes certain BSON values when converting a stored view’s aggregation pipeline into editable source. When a user connects to a MongoDB deployment containing a specially crafted view and opens that view for editing, the values can cause arbitrary code to execute with the privileges of the user running Compass. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40489exploit | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | editorconfig-core-c is an EditorConfig core library for use by plugins supporting EditorConfig parsing. Versions up to and including 0.12.10 have a stack-based buffer overflow in ec_glob() that allows an attacker to crash any application using libeditorconfig by providing a specially crafted directory structure and .editorconfig file. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-0341. The pcre_str buffer was protected in 0.12.6 but the adjacent l_pattern[8194] stack buffer received no equivalent protection. On Ubuntu 24.04, FORTIFY_SOURCE converts the overflow to SIGABRT (DoS). Version 0.12.11 contains an updated fix. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33752exploit | 8.6 high | 0.00% | lexiforest, curl_cffi | curl_cffi is the a Python binding for curl. Prior to 0.15.0, curl_cffi does not restrict requests to internal IP ranges, and follows redirects automatically via the underlying libcurl. Because of this, an attacker-controlled URL can redirect requests to internal services such as cloud metadata endpoints. In addition, curl_cffi’s TLS impersonation feature can make these requests appear as legitimate browser traffic, which may bypass certain network controls. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6643exploit | 8.6 high | 0.00% | asustor, data_master | A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the VPN Clients on the ADM. The issue stems from the use of unbounded sscanf() and passing user-controlled data directly to printf(). Due to the lack of PIE and Stack Canary protections, an authenticated remote attacker can exploit these to execute arbitrary code as the web server user. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RR42 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.2.REO1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42203exploit | 8.6 high | 0.00% | litellm | LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. From version 1.80.5 to before version 1.83.7, the POST /prompts/test endpoint accepted user-supplied prompt templates and rendered them without sandboxing. A crafted template could run arbitrary code inside the LiteLLM Proxy process. The endpoint only checks that the caller presents a valid proxy API key, so any authenticated user could reach it. Depending on how the proxy is deployed, this could expose secrets in the process environment (such as provider API keys or database credentials) and allow commands to be run on the host. This issue has been patched in version 1.83.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-21019exploit | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Improper input validation in FacAtFunction in Galaxy Watch prior to SMR May-2026 Release 1 allows local attacker to execute arbitrary code with system privilege. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54415exploit | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Missing Authorization in the server management routes (routes/admin.php) in Azuriom Azuriom CMS before 1.2.11 on all platforms allows an authenticated attacker with the admin.access permission to create AzLink server tokens and take over non-admin user accounts by changing their passwords and email addresses via crafted HTTP requests to /admin/servers/create and the AzLink API endpoints (/api/azlink/password, /api/azlink/email, /api/azlink/user/{id}). | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49492exploit | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Markdown Preview Enhanced before 0.8.28 opens external files and links from the preview through a shell and does not validate untrusted inputs taken from the markdown document - the diagram filename attribute, imported file paths, and the latex_engine code-chunk attribute. On Windows, a crafted markdown document can inject operating system commands that execute when the document is previewed. Fixed in 0.8.28 by passing these inputs as literal arguments instead of through a shell and validating them before use. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42089exploit | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Yeoman Environment provides an API to discover, create, and run generators, and to configure where and how a generator is resolved. Versions 2.9.0 through 6.0.0 install missing local generator packages from caller-supplied package names without user confirmation. In downstream consumers that pass attacker-controlled project configuration into this path, this can result in arbitrary package installation and code execution during CLI bootstrap. The vulnerable method is installLocalGenerators(), which calls repository.install() directly without prompting the user. This issue has been fixed in version 6.0.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-41200exploit | 8.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | STIG Manager is an API and web client for managing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) assessments of Information Systems. Versions 1.5.10 through 1.6.7 have a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the OIDC authentication error handling code in `src/init.js` and `public/reauth.html`. During the OIDC redirect flow, the `error` and `error_description` query parameters returned by the OIDC provider are written directly to the DOM via `innerHTML` without HTML escaping. An attacker who can craft a malicious redirect URL and convince a user to follow it can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the application's origin context. The vulnerability is most severe when the targeted user has an active STIG Manager session running in another browser tab — injected code executes in the same origin and can communicate with the SharedWorker managing the active access token, enabling authenticated API requests on behalf of the victim including reading and modifying collection data. The vulnerability is patched in version 1.6.8. There is no workaround short of upgrading. Deployments behind a web application firewall that filters reflected XSS payloads in query parameters may have partial mitigation, but this is not a substitute for patching. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-7791exploit | 8.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Improper privilege management in the log rotation mechanism of the Skylight Workspace Config Service in Amazon WorkSpaces for Windows before 2.6.2034.0 allows a local non-admin authenticated user to place arbitrary files into arbitrary locations bypassing file system permission protections, leading to local privilege escalation to SYSTEM. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-8069exploit | 8.5 high | 0.00% | acer, nitrosense, predatorsense | PredatorSense version 3.00.3136 to 3.00.3196 contain Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability. The program exposes a Windows Named Pipe that uses a custom protocol to invoke internal functions. However, this Named Pipe is misconfigured, allowing any authenticated local user to execute arbitrary code with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges and to delete arbitrary files with SYSTEM privileges. By leveraging this, an attacker can execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45033exploit | 8.5 high | 0.00% | github, copilot-cli | GitHub Copilot CLI brings AI-powered coding assistance directly to your command line. Prior to 1.0.43, a security vulnerability has been identified in GitHub Copilot CLI where a malicious bare git repository nested inside a project directory can achieve arbitrary code execution when the agent performs git operations. By exploiting git's automatic bare repository discovery during directory traversal, an attacker can set core.fsmonitor or other executable config keys to run arbitrary commands without user awareness or approval. The vulnerability arises because git's core.fsmonitor config key (and 15+ similar keys such as core.hookspath, diff.external, merge.tool, etc.) can specify arbitrary shell commands that git will execute as part of normal operations like status, diff, or rev-parse. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.43. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9789exploit | 8.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability affects Acer NitroSense software versions prior to 3.01.3052. The vulnerability stems from the the PSAdminAgent service, which creates a Named Pipe with a weak Access Control List (ACL). This allows any authenticated local user to connect and send commands. Because the service does not check the caller's privileges before running file deletion commands, a low-privileged local user can exploit this to delete arbitrary files with system authority. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57851exploit | 8.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | MSI Feature Manager contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the KernCoreLib64.sys kernel driver that allows any locally logged-on user to perform arbitrary physical memory read/write and unrestricted I/O port operations by accessing exposed IOCTL handlers without administrator privileges. Attackers can exploit the accessible device object through IOCTL handlers to manipulate kernel objects, tamper with kernel-mode callbacks, bypass Protected Process Light protections, and disable security software. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-21055exploit | 8.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Improper export of android application components in Bixby prior to version 4.0.70.8 allows local attackers to execute arbitrary commands with Bixby privilege. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54992exploit | 8.4 high | 0.00% | microsoft, windows 10 version 1607, windows 10 version 1809, windows 10 version 21h2 | Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Message Queuing Queue Manager allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-35570exploit | 8.4 high | 0.00% | gitlawb, openclaude | OpenClaude is an open-source coding-agent command line interface for cloud and local model providers. Versions prior to 0.5.1 have a logic flaw in `bashToolHasPermission()` inside `src/tools/BashTool/bashPermissions.ts`. When the sandbox auto-allow feature is active and no explicit deny rule is configured, the function returns an `allow` result immediately — before the path constraint filter (`checkPathConstraints`) is ever evaluated. This allows commands containing path traversal sequences (e.g., `../../../../../etc/passwd`) to bypass directory restrictions entirely. Version 0.5.1 contains a patch for the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54424exploit | 8.4 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An Incorrect Use of Privileged APIs vulnerability in Unity Parsec on Windows hosts leads to a potential Elevation of Privilege. This issue affects Parsec through v2026-05-04.0. The patched version is Parsec for Windows version 150-104a. A user can generate a situation where there is an instance of parsecd.exe running as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM with a user-controlled value of the AppData environment variable. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-97629exploit ×2 | 8.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Description When NGINX Plus or NGINX Open Source is configured with ssl_session_cache shared:name:size without an explicit ssl_session_ticket_key file directives to automatically rotate SSL session ticket keys, a remote unauthenticated attacker is able to forge client SSL sessions in a non-deterministic manner that is beyond the attacker's control. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass verification of client certificates. Impact This vulnerability can lead to the exposure of resources or functionality to unintended actors, possibly providing attackers with access to sensitive information. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46558exploit | 8.3 high | 0.00% | plane | Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to version 1.3.1, there is a cross-workspace asset authorization bypass lets any authenticated user read, copy, delete, and overwrite assets in other Plane workspaces. This issue has been patched in version 1.3.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-41490exploit | 8.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Dagster is an orchestration platform for the development, production, and observation of data assets. Prior to Dagster Core version 1.13.1 and prior to Dagster libraries version 0.29.1, the DuckDB, Snowflake, BigQuery, and DeltaLake I/O managers constructed SQL WHERE clauses by interpolating dynamic partition key values into queries without escaping. A user with the Add Dynamic Partitions permission could create a partition key that injects arbitrary SQL, which would execute against the target database backend under the I/O manager's credentials. Only deployments that use dynamic partitions are affected. Pipelines using static or time-window partitions are not impacted. This issue has been patched in Dagster Core version 1.13.1 and Dagster libraries version 0.29.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-15723exploit ×2 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | gitlab | GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 10.1 before 19.3.6, 19.4 before 19.4.3, and 19.5 before 19.5.1 that, when OmniAuth SAML and LDAP auto-linking were both enabled, an authenticated user could have taken over an existing LDAP-backed account without any interaction from the targeted user, due to improper input sanitization in the LDAP email lookup path used during OmniAuth identity linking. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-24031exploit | 8.2 high | 0.00% | dovecot, open-xchange | Dovecot SQL based authentication can be bypassed when auth_username_chars is cleared by admin. This vulnerability allows bypassing authentication for any user and user enumeration. Do not clear auth_username_chars. If this is not possible, install latest fixed version. No publicly available exploits are known. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-43893exploit | 8.2 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | exiftool-vendored provides cross-platform Node.js access to ExifTool. Prior to 35.19.0, exiftool-vendored starts ExifTool in -stay_open True -@ - mode, where arguments are read from stdin one per line. In affected versions, several caller-supplied strings were interpolated into ExifTool arguments without rejecting line delimiters. A newline or carriage return inside one of those strings could split a single intended argument into multiple ExifTool arguments, allowing argument injection. The fix also rejects NUL bytes as unsafe control characters. Applications that pass attacker-controlled strings to affected APIs may allow an attacker to make ExifTool read files accessible to the ExifTool process, or write output to attacker-chosen file system paths accessible to that process. No remote code execution has been demonstrated. This vulnerability is fixed in 35.19.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-8726exploit | 8.2 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The extension fails to properly sanitize user input before using it in a database query. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary SQL through a URL parameter on pages using the "Date Menu of news articles" plugin. Exploitation requires the "Date Menu of news articles" plugin to be in use and the TypoScript/Plugin setting disableOverrideDemand not to be enabled. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-22747exploit ×2 | 8.1 high | 0.00% | vmware, spring_security | Vulnerability in Spring Spring Security. SubjectX500PrincipalExtractor does not correctly handle certain malformed X.509 certificate CN values, which can lead to reading the wrong value for the username. In a carefully crafted certificate, this can lead to an attacker impersonating another user. This issue affects Spring Security: from 7.0.0 through 7.0.4. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33980exploit | 8.1 high | 0.00% | pab1it0, azure_data_explorer_mcp_server | Azure Data Explorer MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants to execute KQL queries and explore Azure Data Explorer (ADX/Kusto) databases through standardized interfaces. Versions up to and including 0.1.1 contain KQL (Kusto Query Language) injection vulnerabilities in three MCP tool handlers: `get_table_schema`, `sample_table_data`, and `get_table_details`. The `table_name` parameter is interpolated directly into KQL queries via f-strings without any validation or sanitization, allowing an attacker (or a prompt-injected AI agent) to execute arbitrary KQL queries against the Azure Data Explorer cluster. Commit 0abe0ee55279e111281076393e5e966335fffd30 patches the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-35194exploit | 8.1 high | 0.00% | apache, flink | Code injection in SQL code generation in Apache Flink 1.15.0 through 1.20.x and 2.0.0 through 2.x allows authenticated users with query submission privileges to execute arbitrary code on TaskManagers via maliciously crafted SQL queries. The vulnerability affects JSON functions (1.15.0+) and LIKE expressions with ESCAPE clauses (1.17.0+). User-controlled strings are interpolated into generated Java code without proper escaping, allowing attackers to break out of string literals and inject arbitrary expressions. Users are recommended to upgrade to either version 1.20.4, 2.0.2, 2.1.2 or 2.2.1, which fixes this issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-27912exploit ×3 | 8.0 high | 0.00% | microsoft, windows_server_2012, windows_server_2016, windows_server_2019 | Improper authorization in Windows Kerberos allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over an adjacent network. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62958exploit | 7.9 high | — | libriscv | libriscv is a RISC-V sandbox and emulator. Prior to 1.18, a crafted ELF binary can cause out-of-bounds reads in the host emulator. `Memory<W>::binary_loader` checks `PT_LOAD` program-header bounds, but `Memory<W>::serialize_execute_segment` trusts section-header `sh_offset` and `sh_size` when locating `.text` without verifying the file range against `m_binary.size()`; `Memory<W>::lookup()` has a similar section-table problem. Malformed `.text` or `.symtab` offsets can therefore bypass the program-header checks and point outside the binary buffer, crashing rvlinux. With suitable memory layout or integer overflow, out-of-buffer host heap memory may instead be mapped into the guest by `create_execute_segment()`, potentially exposing host memory. The reported reproducer demonstrates a host SIGSEGV, while memory disclosure through grooming is described as possible rather than demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 1.18. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114148exploit | 7.8 high | 0.00% | microsoft, .net 10.0 installed on linux, .net 10.0 installed on mac os, .net 10.0 installed on windows | Incorrect default permissions in ASP.NET Core allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | 4 h ago |
| CVE-2026-81963exploit | 7.8 high | 0.00% | microsoft, windows 11 version 23h2, windows 11 version 24h2, windows 11 version 25h2 | Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in Windows Update Stack allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | 6 h ago |
| CVE-2026-69328exploit | 7.8 high | 0.00% | microsoft, windows 10 version 1607, windows 10 version 1809, windows 10 version 21h2 | Untrusted search path in Windows Storage allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | 6 h ago |
| CVE-2025-38248exploit | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: mcast: Fix use-after-free during router port configuration The bridge maintains a global list of ports behind which a multicast router resides. The list is consulted during forwarding to ensure multicast packets are forwarded to these ports even if the ports are not member in the matching MDB entry. When per-VLAN multicast snooping is enabled, the per-port multicast context is disabled on each port and the port is removed from the global router port list: # ip link add name br1 up type bridge vlan_filtering 1 mcast_snooping 1 # ip link add name dummy1 up master br1 type dummy # ip link set dev dummy1 type bridge_slave mcast_router 2 $ bridge -d mdb show | grep router router ports on br1: dummy1 # ip link set dev br1 type bridge mcast_vlan_snooping 1 $ bridge -d mdb show | grep router However, the port can be re-added to the global list even when per-VLAN multicast snooping is enabled: # ip link set dev dummy1 type bridge_slave mcast_router 0 # ip link set dev dummy1 type bridge_slave mcast_router 2 $ bridge -d mdb show | grep router router ports on br1: dummy1 Since commit 4b30ae9adb04 ("net: bridge: mcast: re-implement br_multicast_{enable, disable}_port functions"), when per-VLAN multicast snooping is enabled, multicast disablement on a port will disable the per-{port, VLAN} multicast contexts and not the per-port one. As a result, a port will remain in the global router port list even after it is deleted. This will lead to a use-after-free [1] when the list is traversed (when adding a new port to the list, for example): # ip link del dev dummy1 # ip link add name dummy2 up master br1 type dummy # ip link set dev dummy2 type bridge_slave mcast_router 2 Similarly, stale entries can also be found in the per-VLAN router port list. When per-VLAN multicast snooping is disabled, the per-{port, VLAN} contexts are disabled on each port and the port is removed from the per-VLAN router port list: # ip link add name br1 up type bridge vlan_filtering 1 mcast_snooping 1 mcast_vlan_snooping 1 # ip link add name dummy1 up master br1 type dummy # bridge vlan add vid 2 dev dummy1 # bridge vlan global set vid 2 dev br1 mcast_snooping 1 # bridge vlan set vid 2 dev dummy1 mcast_router 2 $ bridge vlan global show dev br1 vid 2 | grep router router ports: dummy1 # ip link set dev br1 type bridge mcast_vlan_snooping 0 $ bridge vlan global show dev br1 vid 2 | grep router However, the port can be re-added to the per-VLAN list even when per-VLAN multicast snooping is disabled: # bridge vlan set vid 2 dev dummy1 mcast_router 0 # bridge vlan set vid 2 dev dummy1 mcast_router 2 $ bridge vlan global show dev br1 vid 2 | grep router router ports: dummy1 When the VLAN is deleted from the port, the per-{port, VLAN} multicast context will not be disabled since multicast snooping is not enabled on the VLAN. As a result, the port will remain in the per-VLAN router port list even after it is no longer member in the VLAN. This will lead to a use-after-free [2] when the list is traversed (when adding a new port to the list, for example): # ip link add name dummy2 up master br1 type dummy # bridge vlan add vid 2 dev dummy2 # bridge vlan del vid 2 dev dummy1 # bridge vlan set vid 2 dev dummy2 mcast_router 2 Fix these issues by removing the port from the relevant (global or per-VLAN) router port list in br_multicast_port_ctx_deinit(). The function is invoked during port deletion with the per-port multicast context and during VLAN deletion with the per-{port, VLAN} multicast context. Note that deleting the multicast router timer is not enough as it only takes care of the temporary multicast router states (1 or 3) and not the permanent one (2).
