CVE-2017-5645exploit ×2 9.8 critical 89.0% apache, netapp, log4j, oncommand_api_services, oncommand_insight In Apache Log4j 2.x before 2.8.2, when using the TCP socket server or UDP socket server to receive serialized log events from another application, a specially crafted binary payload can be sent that, when deserialized, can execute arbitrary code. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-58455exploit 9.2 critical 8.0% no CPE yet Dockwatch through 0.6.567 contains an unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands by exploiting a missing exit() after an authentication redirect in loader.php combined with unsanitized input passed to shell_exec() in ajax/compose.php. Attackers can seed the required session flag through the incomplete auth check, then inject arbitrary commands via the composePath POST parameter in the composePull action to achieve full host compromise, facilitated by the standard deployment mounting of the Docker socket. CVE-2026-105192exploit 9.8 critical 1.0% lmcache LMCache multiprocess mode, also called distributed mode, opens an unauthenticated ZeroMQ ROUTER so worker processes can register and share KV cache blocks. Messages on that socket are msgpack. Extension code 1 is passed to DeviceIPCWrapper.Deserialize, which calls pickle.loads, while the server is still decoding request arguments and before the handler runs. A single unauthenticated ZMQ DEALER message to the transport port (default 5555) therefore executes code as the user the LMCache process runs as. Official container images run that process as root. The transport binds to localhost unless the operator sets a routable address with --host, which is how multi-node deployments let peers connect. The decode path shipped in v0.3.9 and is present through v0.5.5, including the v0.5.6 release candidates. v0.5.6, published on 2026-10-14, removes pickle.loads from this path. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-74727exploit 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: skip rehash for peers already removed from by_id ovpn_nl_peer_set_doit() resolves the target peer via ovpn_peer_get_by_id() before taking ovpn->lock. In the window between the lookup (which only takes a refcount) and the subsequent spin_lock_bh(&ovpn->lock), a concurrent OVPN_CMD_PEER_DEL, keepalive expiry, or socket teardown can take ovpn->lock first, run ovpn_peer_remove() to unhash the peer from all four tables (by_id, by_vpn_addr4/6, by_transp_addr) and release the lock. set_doit then acquires ovpn->lock and calls ovpn_peer_hash_vpn_ip(), which re-inserts the now-removed peer back into the rehashing tables. The same race affects the float path: ovpn_peer_endpoints_update() holds only a refcount and acquires ovpn->lock very late (after async AEAD decrypt and a netlink notification), then rehashes the peer in the by_transp_addr table. The resurrected peer becomes reachable again from the RX lookup (ovpn_peer_get_by_transp_addr) and the TX VPN-IP lookup, even though userspace believes it is gone. Once the data-path refcount drops the peer is freed via call_rcu while the hash entries embedded in it remain linked, opening a UAF window. Bail out of the rehash when hash_entry_id is unhashed, mirroring the sentinel already used by ovpn_peer_remove() to detect the already-removed state. The check is safe under ovpn->lock, which serializes every mutation of hash_entry_id, and is a no-op for the add path because ovpn_peer_add_mp() inserts hash_entry_id before calling ovpn_peer_hash_vpn_ip(). 14 Oct
CVE-2026-12087exploit 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Socket versions before 2.041 for Perl have an out-of-bounds heap read. In Socket.xs, pack_ip_mreq_source() checks the length of its source argument before the argument is read, so the check tests the byte length carried over from the preceding multiaddr argument instead. Both addresses occupy a 4-byte field, so a valid multiaddr lets a source of any length pass the check, and the source is then copied into the 4-byte imr_sourceaddr field with a fixed-size copy. A source shorter than 4 bytes is not rejected, and the copy reads up to 3 bytes past the end of its buffer. Calling pack_ip_mreq_source() with a source value shorter than 4 bytes copies adjacent heap memory into the returned packed structure. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-98432exploit ×11news ×2 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: free inet_opt and ireq_opt after an RCU grace period tcp_v4_syn_recv_sock() transfers ownership of ireq->ireq_opt to the child socket (newinet->inet_opt) without copying it. Another cpu can concurrently process a retransmitted SYN for the same request socket, and send a SYNACK from tcp_check_req(). tcp_v4_send_synack() and inet_csk_route_req() read ireq->ireq_opt under rcu_read_lock() only, and ip_build_and_send_pkt() and ip_options_build() then read opt->optlen twice. Note that the SYNACK timer itself is not an issue: it holds a reference on its request socket, and inet_csk_reqsk_queue_drop() calls timer_delete_sync() before the child can be freed. Since commit 079096f103fa ("tcp/dccp: install syn_recv requests into ehash table"), request sockets are processed without holding the listener lock, so nothing prevents the child socket from being freed while the SYNACK is still being built. TCP child sockets do not have SOCK_RCU_FREE, and inet_sock_destruct() frees inet_opt with a plain kfree(), leading to a use-after-free in ip_options_build(). A similar issue exists with request socket migration (net.ipv4.tcp_migrate_req=1, or a BPF_SK_REUSEPORT_SELECT_OR_MIGRATE program). reqsk_timer_handler() clones the request socket with inet_reqsk_clone(), so that the old request socket and its clone share the same ireq_opt, then reqsk_migrate_reset() clears the pointer in the old one. Another cpu holding a reference on the old request socket can still be using these options (sending a SYNACK, or creating a child in tcp_v4_syn_recv_sock()) when the clone is freed, and tcp_v4_reqsk_destructor() also uses a plain kfree(). Readers already use RCU, and other paths replacing inet_opt (do_ip_setsockopt(), cipso_v4_sock_setattr()...) already use kfree_rcu(). Use kfree_rcu() in inet_sock_destruct() and tcp_v4_reqsk_destructor() as well. IPv6 is not affected by the first issue, because tcp_v6_syn_recv_sock() duplicates the options. tcp_v6_reqsk_destructor() has the same migration issue with ipv6_opt, which is only set by CALIPSO. This will be addressed in a separate patch. Sat 24 Oct
