| CVE | CVSS | EPSS | Vendor, product | Description | Modified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2018-25032exploit ×3 | 7.5 high | 52.0% | nokogiri, python, zlib | zlib before 1.2.12 allows memory corruption when deflating (i.e., when compressing) if the input has many distant matches. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-37434exploit ×2 | 9.8 critical | 19.0% | zlib, fedoraproject, fedora, debian_linux | zlib through 1.2.12 has a heap-based buffer over-read or buffer overflow in inflate in inflate.c via a large gzip header extra field. NOTE: only applications that call inflateGetHeader are affected. Some common applications bundle the affected zlib source code but may be unable to call inflateGetHeader (e.g., see the nodejs/node reference). | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114102exploit ×2 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | adm-zip before 0.6.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to crash the Node.js process via a malformed ZIP file, because inflateAsync in methods/inflater.js lacks a zlib stream error listener. Attackers can supply a ZIP with corrupted DEFLATE data processed by readFileAsync, readAsTextAsync, extractAllToAsync, or getDataAsync, triggering an uncatchable exception that terminates all in-flight requests. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-58045exploit ×3 | 6.2 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A flaw in Node.js allows a spoofed `TypedArray` `byteLength` to trigger a reachable assertion in the synchronous `node:zlib` APIs, causing the entire process to crash. All 11 synchronous zlib functions are affected. Repeated exploitation of this condition can result in a denial of service. This vulnerability affects Node.js **22.x**, **24.x**, and **26.x**. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106070exploit ×3 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A flaw in the Node.js `zlib.ZipFile` API can cause it to return bytes that do not belong to the requested entry after the local and central header validation fails. When `zipEntry.modified` is read on an archive whose local header does not match its central directory, either directly or while compacting the archive, the validation error is caught but the parsed local header is left cached without a content offset. A later content read then returns attacker-controlled bytes from the start of the file instead of rejecting the archive, and CRC-32 verification still passes because the attacker controls the central directory CRC. A Node.js-based scanner can therefore approve different content from what another ZIP implementation extracts from the same archive. This vulnerability affects Node.js **26.x**. | Fri 23 Oct |
