CVE-2026-22599exploit 9.3 critical 1.0% strapi Strapi is an open source headless content management system. In versions on the 4.x branch prior to 4.26.1 and on the 5.x branch prior to 5.33.2, a database-query injection vulnerability existed in the Strapi Content-Type Builder write API. An authenticated administrator could inject arbitrary database statements through the `column.defaultTo` attribute when creating or modifying a content type. Setting `defaultTo` as a tuple `[value, { isRaw: true }]` caused the value to be passed directly into Knex's `db.connection.raw()` during schema migration without sanitization, allowing arbitrary statement execution at the database layer. Depending on the database engine, this enabled arbitrary file read via database utility functions, denial of service via forced server crash on schema-migration error, and on engines that permit external program execution, remote code execution against the database server. The patch in versions 4.26.1 and 5.33.2 addresses this by restricting all Content-Type Builder write APIs to development mode only. Production deployments running v5.33.2 or later return 404 for requests against `/content-type-builder/content-types` and related endpoints, removing the network-reachable attack surface entirely. CVE-2026-105844exploit 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions from 3.0.0 before 3.88.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.27, an unauthenticated user can submit prototype-sensitive field paths when @payloadcms/plugin-import-export is enabled, causing unintended application behavior that can lead to remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 3.88.0 and 4.0.0-canary.27. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-55572 10.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet e107 is a content management system (CMS). Prior to 2.3.7, the bundled alt_auth plugin's otherdb and e107db authentication backends interpolate the submitted login username directly into SQL in e107_plugins/alt_auth/otherdb_auth.php and e107_plugins/alt_auth/e107db_auth.php. The login() methods execute those strings with PDO::query() before effective sanitization, so an unauthenticated user can inject SQL when alt_auth is installed and either backend is configured with a live external database connection. The injection can expose or modify data available to the configured database account, and query failures can additionally disclose the generated query through the debug-message path. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.7. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-55573 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet e107 is a content management system (CMS). Prior to 2.3.7, install.php decodes the attacker-controlled previous_steps POST parameter and passes it to unserialize() at file scope and again in the e_install constructor without restricting allowed classes. The installer remains accessible after a normal installation, and a crafted object graph using the bundled GuzzleHttp\Psr7\PumpStream class can flow through paths.hash into site_path, where string coercion invokes an attacker-controlled callable. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach install.php can therefore execute arbitrary PHP functions with the web server process's privileges, leading to full server compromise. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.7. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-63190 9.4 critical 1.0% no CPE yet FearlessCMS is a flat-file `content` management system centered on simplicity and open source. Prior to version 0.1.4, five debug/test PHP scripts under `admin/` perform privileged operations without `isLoggedIn()` authentication checks, CSRF protection or adequate `path` validation. On PHP's built-in development server, including the default Docker deployment, `router.php` checks an unnormalized admin URI prefix while the filesystem resolves dot segments, so `/./admin/` bypasses the admin login gate and executes those scripts directly. In `admin/debug_save_flow.php`, attacker-controlled `path` and `content` reach `file_put_contents` for arbitrary `.md` writes under `content`/ or outside it through `path` traversal, enabling site defacement and stored JavaScript in public pages; `print_r($_POST)` output without `htmlspecialchars` escaping also causes reflected cross-site scripting. The `admin/debug_content.php` `path` parameter reaches `scandir()`, `file_get_contents()` and `posix_getpwuid()`, permitting arbitrary directory enumeration and `.md` file reads that expose absolute paths, ownership, permissions, hashes and `content` previews. The `admin/preview-handler.php` endpoint accepts JSON `content` and `title` and writes enumerable files under `content/_preview/`, enabling stored cross-site scripting and disk exhaustion. The `admin/testdebug.php` endpoint appends to `admin/testdebug.log` without authentication, also enabling disk exhaustion. The `admin/test_redirect.php` script exposes a test artifact but escapes its inputs and is not itself an XSS sink. Stored script execution can steal sessions and compromise administrators when they view affected `content`. Reads and writes execute with PHP's privileges; the tested deployment runs PHP as root, amplifying filesystem impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.4. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-44990 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system, and sanitize-html provides a simple HTML sanitizer with a clear API. Under the default configuration, versions of `sanitize-html` prior to 2.17.4 can turn attacker-controlled content inside a disallowed `xmp` element into live HTML or JavaScript. This is a sanitizer bypass in the default `disallowedTagsMode: 'discard'` path and can lead to stored XSS in applications that render sanitized output back to users. Version 2.17.4 patches the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54003 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.4 and from 5.4.4, Kirby sites with no configured user accounts that run on publicly accessible servers behind a reverse proxy setting the Forwarded, X-Client-IP, or X-Real-IP request header could allow remote attackers to install the Panel and create the first admin user because local-IP checks trusted those headers incorrectly. This issue is fixed in versions 4.9.4 and 5.4.4. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-105857 10.0 critical 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In @payloadcms/plugin-form-builder versions before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, an attacker can craft a form submission that executes code remotely on the server. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-105859 9.8 critical 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, an attacker can submit a request to a specific update endpoint that modifies collection documents without enforcing collection or field-level access control when orderable is enabled on a collection or join field. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-53943 9.6 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From until 6.37.0, when Ghost is behind a shared caching layer that results in cached content being shared between different visitors, an unauthenticated user could send an x-ghost-preview header that altered the rendered frontend response. In affected cache configurations, that response could be stored and served to subsequent visitors requesting the same page, allowing cache poisoning of request-specific preview output. When running Ghost's frontend and admin panel on the same domain this could be used to take over staff user accounts. When running these on different domains staff accounts have no exposure. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.37.0. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-108261 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to tinacms 3.14.0 and @tinacms/app 2.5.14, the /~/* admin preview route in packages/tinacms/src/admin/index.tsx can turn an attacker-controlled hash-router splat into an off-origin iframe URL through packages/@tinacms/app/src/preview.tsx, while packages/@tinacms/app/src/lib/preview-origin.ts derives expectedOrigin from that same URL for the GraphQL message channel in packages/@tinacms/app/src/lib/graphql-reducer.ts. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted link to a signed-in editor, cause the admin to frame an attacker origin, and have that frame treated as the trusted preview. The attacker-controlled frame can submit GraphQL reads or mutations that the admin executes with the editor credentials, exposing or modifying protected content. This issue is fixed in tinacms 3.14.0 and @tinacms/app 2.5.14. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-105851 9.3 critical 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions from 3.0.0 before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, the duplicate operation copies values from a source document even when a field is hidden or its access.read or access.create rule rejects that value for the caller. The disableDuplicate setting does not prevent this access-control bypass. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-105863 9.2 critical 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions after 3.0.0 and before 3.90.0, a custom field option that maps a field to a reserved authentication claim name can place unintended values in the authentication token issued at login. This issue is fixed in version 3.90.0. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-34751 9.1 critical 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. Prior to version 3.79.1 in @payloadcms/graphql and payload, a vulnerability in the password recovery flow could allow an unauthenticated attacker to perform actions on behalf of a user who initiates a password reset. This issue has been patched in version 3.79.1 for @payloadcms/graphql and payload. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-53609 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. In versions up to and including 4.30.0, `apos.util.set()` traverses dot-notation paths without sanitizing `__proto__`, allowing an authenticated editor to write arbitrary values to `Object.prototype` via the `$pullAll` patch operator. A confirmed gadget in `publicApiCheck()` causes this to bypass authorization on all piece-type REST API endpoints for every subsequent unauthenticated request, for the lifetime of the Node.js process. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-55695 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet FearlessCMS is a flat-file content management system centered on simplicity and open source. In 0.1.2b and earlier, an authenticated administrator can set an arbitrary Git repository URL through admin/updater-handler.php and trigger perform_update, which passes the URL to update.sh. The updater clones the repository and replaces the live plugins/, admin/, and includes/ directories without verifying the repository's identity, signatures, or contents. Because router.php permits existing PHP files under plugins to be executed by the PHP development server, attacker-supplied update content can execute arbitrary PHP with the web server process's privileges and persist as a backdoor. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.3b. 16 Oct
