CVE-2026-19264exploit 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Postiz is an open-source social media scheduling tool. The route that serves locally stored media joins URL-supplied path segments onto the upload directory and streams the file without normalising the path or confining it to that directory, and the route requires no authentication. Raw dot-segments are collapsed before routing, but URL-encoded separators survive route matching and are decoded only once they reach the handler, restoring the traversal at the filesystem call. An unauthenticated remote attacker can therefore read any file readable by the application process, including the process environment, which exposes the JWT signing secret, the database connection string, and connected provider and billing secrets. Because session tokens are signed with that secret and carry no expiry, this allows forging a non-expiring session as any user, including an administrator, without a password. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-41948 9.3 critical 23.0% dify Dify version 1.14.1 and prior contain a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated users to manipulate requests forwarded to the Plugin Daemon's internal REST API by exploiting insufficient URL path sanitization. Attackers can traverse out of their authorized tenant path using unencoded dot sequences in task identifiers or manipulated filename parameters to access internal endpoints such as debug interfaces, requiring only knowledge of the victim tenant's UUID. NOTE: Dify Cloud allows unauthenticated free self-registration, making account creation trivially accessible to any attacker. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-118235 9.8 critical 1.0% wpazleen, simpleform – form maker to chat apps with quiz, poll and multi lead notifications The SimpleForm – Form Maker to Chat Apps with Quiz, Poll and Multi Lead Notifications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.10.2 via the handle_upload function. This is due to missing server-side file key allowlist and pre-sanitization extension derivation that allows a trailing-dot filename to bypass all extension and MIME validation in handle_upload. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The only access control is a nonce that is printed into every public form's data-nonce attribute, making it trivially obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor on a page embedding the form shortcode. CVE-2026-109218 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet The Contact Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.2 via the add_message function. This is due to an incomplete extension blacklist that fails to detect dangerous extensions when a trailing dot causes the extension-derivation routine to return an empty string, which sanitize_file_name() then silently removes before the file is written to disk. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Successful code execution additionally requires the server to use Apache with libapache2-mod-php (which maps .phar to PHP by default) and the attacker to retrieve the uploaded file within the brief window before it is removed by unlink() at end of request. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-15435 9.8 critical 1.0% ibm, app_connect_enterprise IBM App Connect Enterprise 13.0.1.0 through 13.0.7.2, and 12.0.1.0 through 12.0.12.27 could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to write arbitrary files on the system. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-63190 9.4 critical 1.0% no CPE yet FearlessCMS is a flat-file `content` management system centered on simplicity and open source. Prior to version 0.1.4, five debug/test PHP scripts under `admin/` perform privileged operations without `isLoggedIn()` authentication checks, CSRF protection or adequate `path` validation. On PHP's built-in development server, including the default Docker deployment, `router.php` checks an unnormalized admin URI prefix while the filesystem resolves dot segments, so `/./admin/` bypasses the admin login gate and executes those scripts directly. In `admin/debug_save_flow.php`, attacker-controlled `path` and `content` reach `file_put_contents` for arbitrary `.md` writes under `content`/ or outside it through `path` traversal, enabling site defacement and stored JavaScript in public pages; `print_r($_POST)` output without `htmlspecialchars` escaping also causes reflected cross-site scripting. The `admin/debug_content.php` `path` parameter reaches `scandir()`, `file_get_contents()` and `posix_getpwuid()`, permitting arbitrary directory enumeration and `.md` file reads that expose absolute paths, ownership, permissions, hashes and `content` previews. The `admin/preview-handler.php` endpoint accepts JSON `content` and `title` and writes enumerable files under `content/_preview/`, enabling stored cross-site scripting and disk exhaustion. The `admin/testdebug.php` endpoint appends to `admin/testdebug.log` without authentication, also enabling disk exhaustion. The `admin/test_redirect.php` script exposes a test artifact but escapes its inputs and is not itself an XSS sink. Stored script execution can steal sessions and compromise administrators when they view affected `content`. Reads and writes execute with PHP's privileges; the tested deployment runs PHP as root, amplifying filesystem impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.4. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-42882 9.4 critical 1.0% no CPE yet oxyno-zeta/s3-proxy is an aws s3 proxy written in go. Prior to 5.0.0, s3-proxy contains an authentication bypass caused by inconsistent URL path interpretation between the authentication middleware and the bucket handler. The authentication middleware evaluates resource path patterns against the percent-encoded request URI (r.URL.RequestURI()), while the bucket handler constructs S3 object keys from the decoded path (r.URL.Path). This mismatch, combined with the glob library being invoked without a path separator (causing * to match across / boundaries), allows unauthenticated attackers to write to, read from, or delete objects in protected S3 namespaces. Exploitation is possible via three techniques: (1) using * patterns that match across path separators to reach protected routes via path traversal (e.g., /open/foo/drafts/../restricted/), (2) using percent-encoded slashes (%2F) to collapse multiple path segments into a single token at the auth layer while the decoded form resolves to a protected namespace at the storage layer, and (3) using dot-dot segments (../) under ** prefix patterns, where the raw path matches an open route while Go's URL parser resolves the traversal to a protected path before the bucket handler runs. An unauthenticated attacker with network access can perform unauthorized PUT, GET, or DELETE operations on objects in authentication-protected S3 namespaces. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.0. CVE-2026-11720 9.3 critical 1.0% google, mcp_toolbox_for_databases A path traversal vulnerability exists in the HTTP tool URL builder of googleapis/mcp-toolbox. When constructing downstream API requests, the URL builder substitutes user-controlled pathParams into the configured tool path and parses the resulting string as a relative URL. While it checks that the input does not alter the scheme, host, or user info, it relies on ResolveReference for the final URL resolution. Because dot segments (../) are normalized during this resolution step, an attacker can supply path parameters containing directory traversal sequences to escape the operator-configured path scope. This allows the client to coerce the toolbox into making requests to unintended endpoints on the same target host while forwarding the toolbox's configured credentials (e.g., bypassing a restricted path like /api/v1/users/{{.id}} to reach /admin/secrets). CVE-2026-107700 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet dot-access 0.0.3 through 1.0.0 contains a code injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript by supplying crafted paths to get(). The path is concatenated into a new Function body in index.js, so attackers can reach constructor.constructor to load child_process and run operating system commands in the Node.js process. 9 Oct
CVE-2025-61778 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Akka.NET is a .NET port of the Akka project from the Scala / Java community. In all versions of Akka.Remote from v1.2.0 to v1.5.51, TLS could be enabled via our `akka.remote.dot-netty.tcp` transport and this would correctly enforce private key validation on the server-side of inbound connections. Akka.Remote, however, never asked the outbound-connecting client to present ITS certificate - therefore it's possible for untrusted parties to connect to a private key'd Akka.NET cluster and begin communicating with it without any certificate. The issue here is that for certificate-based authentication to work properly, ensuring that all members of the Akka.Remote network are secured with the same private key, Akka.Remote needed to implement mutual TLS. This was not the case before Akka.NET v1.5.52. Those who run Akka.NET inside a private network that they fully control or who were never using TLS in the first place are now affected by the bug. However, those who use TLS to secure their networks must upgrade to Akka.NET V1.5.52 or later. One patch forces "fail fast" semantics if TLS is enabled but the private key is missing or invalid. Previous versions would only check that once connection attempts occurred. The second patch, a critical fix, enforces mutual TLS (mTLS) by default, so both parties must be keyed using the same certificate. As a workaround, avoid exposing the application publicly to avoid the vulnerability having a practical impact on one's application. However, upgrading to version 1.5.52 is still recommended by the maintainers. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-53609 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. In versions up to and including 4.30.0, `apos.util.set()` traverses dot-notation paths without sanitizing `__proto__`, allowing an authenticated editor to write arbitrary values to `Object.prototype` via the `$pullAll` patch operator. A confirmed gadget in `publicApiCheck()` causes this to bypass authorization on all piece-type REST API endpoints for every subsequent unauthenticated request, for the lifetime of the Node.js process. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available. Sun 25 Oct
