CVE-2026-71195exploit 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet In OpenStack Manila before 23.0.1, multiple Manila API operations on public shares do not verify that the caller owns the share. The API controllers authorize operations against the caller's own project context, then load a foreign public share without re-authorizing against the share's actual owner. This affects the following operations: allow_access: grant data-plane read/write access to another tenant's share; deny_access: revoke the owner's existing access rules; update_access: escalate access level (e.g., ro to rw); create_share_backup: exfiltrate share data via a backup created under the attacker's project; soft_delete: move a foreign share to the recycle bin; restore: interfere with the owner's deletion workflow; export location metadata: create, update, and delete metadata on foreign export locations; access rule listing: disclose IPs, usernames, and CephFS keys. Any authenticated project member can exploit these operations on any public share. The share UUID is visible since the share is public. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-71193 9.6 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In OpenStack Designate before 22.0.1, zone creation checks (_is_subzone, _is_superzone, and the duplicate-zone DB constraint) are scoped to the target pool only. An authenticated user can bypass these checks by scheduling a zone to a different pool via the AttributeFilter scheduler, creating an overlapping zone that conflicts with another tenant's zone. This enables cross-tenant DNS hijack (redirecting traffic to attacker-controlled IPs) and DNS denial of service (NODATA responses). Exploitation requires a multi-pool deployment with AttributeFilter enabled in scheduler_filters, which is a non-default but documented and supported configuration for self-service tiering. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2025-59823 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Project Gardener implements the automated management and operation of Kubernetes clusters as a service. Code injection may be possible in Gardener Extensions for AWS providers prior to version 1.64.0, Azure providers prior to version 1.55.0, OpenStack providers prior to version 1.49.0, and GCP providers prior to version 1.46.0. This vulnerability could allow a user with administrative privileges for a Gardener project to obtain control over the seed cluster where the shoot cluster is managed. This affects all Gardener installations where Terraformer is used/can be enabled for infrastructure provisioning with any of the affected components. This issue has been patched in Gardener Extensions for AWS providers version 1.64.0, Azure providers version 1.55.0, OpenStack providers version 1.49.0, and GCP providers version 1.46.0. 11 Oct
