CVE-2026-42945exploit ×50 9.2 critical 68.0% f5, dos, nginx_gateway_fabric, nginx_ingress_controller NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when the rewrite directive is followed by a rewrite, if, or set directive and an unnamed Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) capture (for example, $1, $2) with a replacement string that includes a question mark (?). An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond its control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-12087exploit 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Socket versions before 2.041 for Perl have an out-of-bounds heap read. In Socket.xs, pack_ip_mreq_source() checks the length of its source argument before the argument is read, so the check tests the byte length carried over from the preceding multiaddr argument instead. Both addresses occupy a 4-byte field, so a valid multiaddr lets a source of any length pass the check, and the source is then copied into the 4-byte imr_sourceaddr field with a fixed-size copy. A source shorter than 4 bytes is not rejected, and the copy reads up to 3 bytes past the end of its buffer. Calling pack_ip_mreq_source() with a source value shorter than 4 bytes copies adjacent heap memory into the returned packed structure. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-16766 9.8 critical 3.0% no CPE yet Catalyst::View::Wkhtmltopdf versions before 0.6.1 for Perl allow shell command injection (RCE) via PDF render options. Options are passed directly to the wkhtmltopdf command without sanitization. Any web application that passes user-controlled options such as the page_size, orientation or margins without validation allows shell command injection. Version 0.6.0 was released with an incomplete fix for this issue. Note that the wkhtmltopdf project is no longer being developed, and users of this package should migrate to alternative solutions. 24 Oct
CVE-2022-48522 9.8 critical 3.0% perl In Perl 5.34.0, function S_find_uninit_var in sv.c has a stack-based crash that can lead to remote code execution or local privilege escalation. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-8500 9.8 critical 2.0% no CPE yet Web::Passwd versions through 0.03 for Perl is vulnerable to RCE. Web::Passwd is a small CGI application for managing htpasswd files using the htpasswd command. The user parameter is not validated or escaped, and is used as the last argument on the command line, allowing for command injection. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-8507 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Crypt::OpenSSL::PKCS12 versions through 1.94 for Perl have out-of-bounds (OOB) write flaws. When parsing a PKCS12 file, with a >= 1 GiB OCTET STRING (or BIT STRING) attribute on a SAFEBAG, via info() or info_as_hash(), a heap out-of-bounds write would be triggered with remote-code-execution potential (RCE) due to a signed integer overflow in the size calculation passed to Renew(). Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-14454 9.8 critical 1.0% tonycoz, imager Imager versions before 1.033 for Perl treat unsigned EXIF IFD entry counts as signed. Imager mishandled large EXIF IFD entry count values, treating them as negative numbers. This could lead to an attempt to allocate a block nearly the size of the address space, which fails and kills the process. An attacker could craft an image with EXIF data that terminates a worker process. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-13766 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet DBIx::QuickORM versions before 0.000026 for Perl allow SQL injection via unquoted SQL identifiers. The default SQL builder, a SQL::Abstract subclass, sets bindtype in its constructor but never quote_char, so SQL::Abstract emits identifiers verbatim. Caller-supplied identifiers (order_by, where-clause column keys, field and returning lists, upsert columns, and join aliases) reach the SQL string raw, while values are placeholder-bound and unaffected. A caller that forwards untrusted input to an affected identifier position, such as a user-controlled order_by value, enables SQL injection: the row order can be made to depend on a sub-select over columns the query never selected, and the where and update identifier positions permit further data disclosure and tampering. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-15043 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet DBI::SQL::Nano versions from 1.42 before 1.651 for Perl have inverted <= and >= SQL operators on text. DBI::SQL::Nano, DBI's built-in mini-SQL engine, evaluated WHERE predicates incorrectly in some cases. In the non-numeric string branch of the is_matched method, <= was evaluated using Perl's ge operator, and >= was evaluated using Perl's le operator. SQL::Nano is the fallback query engine for DBI's file-backed drivers (DBD::File, DBD::DBM, CSV-style drivers) whenever SQL::Statement is not installed, and is forced whenever DBI_SQL_NANO=1. Queries over such tables use these predicates directly. The impact depends on the context. Where an application relies on a WHERE clause to filter file-backed data for policy or authorization, an inverted <=/>= comparison silently returns the wrong rows. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-3031 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Image::EPEG versions through 0.15 for Perl embeds an unsupported version of the Epeg library. Image::EPEG includes Epeg 0.9.0 that was last updated in 2004. Epeg is a fast JPEG thumbnail library that was once part of the Englightenment Project. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-16235 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Crypt::Password versions through 0.28 for Perl generate insecure random values for salts. These versions use the built-in rand function, which is predictable and unsuitable for cryptography. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-64193 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Net::DNS versions through 1.55 for Perl allow remote execution injection via EDNS EXTENDED ERROR. Net::DNS::RR::OPT::EXTENDED_ERROR::_decompose parses the EXTRA-TEXT field of an EDNS EXTENDED-ERROR option (RFC 8914) by tokenising the raw bytes and passing the result to Perl's eval. There is some escaping done for $ and @, but not for backticks. This can be exploited for command execution if $pkt->edns->option('EXTENDED-ERROR') is called in array context, for example with a payload of {0:`"<command>"`} in EXTRA-TEXT. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59144 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::RingBuffer::Shared versions before 0.04 for Perl allow a stack buffer overflow via an unvalidated elem_size in ring_read_seq. The attach-time validator ring_validate_header checks the capacity-overflow and total_size consistency of the header but never caps elem_size against the destination size. ring_read_seq does memcpy(out, ring_slot(h, seq), elem_size) with elem_size read raw from the mmap'd segment, copying into a fixed 8-byte destination scalar. An elem_size larger than 8 bytes writes past the destination. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while setting a large elem_size, so the next read copies a file-controlled length into the fixed 8-byte stack buffer, corrupting adjacent stack frames. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59147 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::DisjointSet::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl allow out-of-bounds reads and writes via an unvalidated parent index in dsu_find. The attach-time validator dsu_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the array contents it then trusts. dsu_find walks and path-compresses parent[x] with x a raw file-stored index never bounded against the node count, so both the read and the compression write-back land out of bounds. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning the parent array, so the next find or union both reads and writes through an out-of-bounds parent index, corrupting memory or crashing the process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-66902 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Google::Auth versions before 0.06 for Perl run a command named in an external_account credentials JSON via an ungated system call. The Pluggable subclass reads credential_source.executable.command from the credentials JSON and runs it as `system($command)`, a single argument call that passes the whole string to /bin/sh -c. The executable's environment_variables map from the same JSON is copied into %ENV first. No opt-in gate guards the call. make_creds selects the Pluggable subclass whenever credential_source.executable is present, so the path is reached from the standard Application Default Credentials flow, including a "type": "external_account" configuration read from the file named by GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS. Configurations without credential_source.executable do not select this subclass and do not reach the call. Any caller that builds credentials from a configuration it does not fully control runs the embedded command with the privileges of the application process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-16634 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet TOML::XS versions before 0.06 for Perl bundle an unsupported and vulnerable version of tomlc99. The tomlc99 library is no longer maintained, and has an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability publicly reported in the issue tracker. Any caller that passes untrusted TOML to from_toml risks a stack overflow from a deeply-nested document. TOML::XS version 0.06 or later uses the successor tomlc17 library. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-58586 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Image::WebP versions before 0.3.0 for Perl bundle a vulnerable version of libwebp. Image::WebP does not link to the system libwebp. Instead, it uses a bundled copy of libwebp 0.3.0 (released 2013-03-20). That version has multiple known vulnerabilities, including CVE-2023-4863. Any caller that decodes an untrusted WebP image reaches the bundled decoder. Because the library is compiled into the module, upgrading the system libwebp does not remediate this. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-16770 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet PDF::WebKit versions through 1.2 for Perl allow argument injection into wkhtmltopdf via meta tags in the source document. For an HTML string or file source, the constructor collects every <meta name="pdf-webkit-KEY" content="VALUE"> element in the document head through _pdf_webkit_meta_tags and turns each one into a wkhtmltopdf command line option. KEY is normalized to an option name matching --[a-z0-9-]+ but is not checked against an allow list, VALUE is passed through unchanged as the argument that follows it, and a VALUE of "yes" emits the option as a bare flag. BUILD merges the meta derived options last, so they also override the module defaults and the options passed to new. Switches such as --enable-local-file-access and --cookie-jar are reachable this way. The renderer is executed with an argument list rather than a shell command, so this is argument injection and not shell injection. Any caller that renders untrusted HTML lets the document choose the renderer's options and override those set by the application, including options that read local files into the resulting PDF or write to a chosen path. A URL source is not scanned, and the scan is skipped when XML::LibXML, a recommended dependency, is not installed. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-78183 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet DBD::Pg version 3.21.0 for Perl has a heap out-of-bounds write in quote_float. quote_float() allocates the length of the string + 1, which is the size of the bare numeric symbol plus NULL. But for special literals NaN, Inf, +Inf, -Inf, Infinity, +Infinity, -Infinity it emits the literal surrounded by quotes plus NULL, which is length + 3 bytes. Every recognised literal (case-insensitive) overflows by 2 bytes, a single quote and a NULL. This can be reached by the $dbh->quote method, for example $dbh->quote( "Infinity", DBI::SQL_NUMERIC ). This regression was introduced in 3.21.0 by the quote.c rewrite. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-44128 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before version 15.0.2.1 allows unauthenticated remote code execution in the new GINA UI because an endpoint passes attacker-controlled input from a parameter to Perl's eval. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-9265 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Crypt::OpenSSL::PKCS12 versions before 1.96 for Perl permits a heap OOB read in print_attribute UTF8STRING path. print_attribute() copies a UTF8STRING ASN.1 attribute value into a heap buffer sized exactly to its declared length via strncpy, leaving no NUL terminator. Downstream callers run strlen() on the result and pass the inflated length to newSVpvn(), copying attacker-influenced adjacent heap bytes into a Perl scalar. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-11373 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Net::Statsite::Client versions through 1.1.0 for Perl allow metric injections. Net::Statsite::Client is a client for the statsite protocol, which is a variant of statsd. Newlines are not removed from metric names, allowing metric injections. Values are not sanitised for newlines or other protocol control characters such as colons or pipes, allowing metric injections. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-9733 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Mojolicious::Plugin::Web::Auth::OAuth2 versions through 0.17 for Perl have an insecure default state parameter. When no state generator is specified in the constructor, the module defaults to using a SHA-1 hash of predictable and low-entropy sources, including the epoch time (which is leaked via the HTTP Date header) and a call to Perl's built-in rand function. A predictable state allows an attacker to hijack another user's session through cross site request forgery (CSRF). 25 Oct
CVE-2026-56015 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Net::IP::LPM versions before 1.11 for Perl allow a heap out-of-bounds read via an unbounded prefix length. add() passes the prefix string to the trie builder addPrefixToTrie() without checking it against the address width. addPrefixToTrie() then walks the prefix buffer by prefix_length bits, reading prefix[byte] for byte up to prefix_len/8, where prefix is the 4-byte (IPv4) or 16-byte (IPv6) packed address. A prefix length greater than 32 for IPv4 or 128 for IPv6, for example add("1.2.3.4/255", $v) or add("2001:db8::/255", $v), reads past the end of the packed address. The out-of-bounds read happens during trie construction and is bounded: the prefix length is stored as an unsigned char, so the bit walk reads at most 32 bytes from the start of the packed address, a short distance past the end of the 4-byte or 16-byte buffer. It is detectable under AddressSanitizer, valgrind, or a hardened allocator, where it can abort the process. Lookups and dump() format only the valid address width, so the out-of-bounds bytes are not exposed through the module's API. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-14740 9.1 critical 1.0% perl, dbi DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl read one byte out-of-bounds in preparse when deleting an initial SQL comment. The preparse method normalises SQL and removes comments. When the SQL starts with a comment line, the deletion of that line during normalisation led to an out-of-bounds read by one byte. The result is a fault on memory-hardened builds and nondeterministic newline retention on normal builds. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-60082 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet DBI versions before 1.651 for Perl do not enforce statement handle consistency with the row. When the statement handle had no fields but the source row was non-empty, the internal row-buffer helper would read from a negative array index. This could be triggered by a caller supplying inconsistent metadata and rows to the prepare method. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-57073 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet HTML::Bare versions through 0.04 for Perl have an unbounded character lookahead. The parserc_parse function attempts to check for multicharacter strings such as "<![CDATA" or element terminators such as ">" without checking that the offsets are within the buffer. Truncated strings such as "<a/" can trigger an out-of-bounds read. Note that the latest version available on CPAN is version 0.02. Newer versions are available on the git repository. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-57074 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet XML::Bare versions through 0.53 for Perl have an unbounded character lookahead. The parserc_parse function attempts to check for multicharacter strings such as "<![CDATA" or element terminators such as ">" without checking that the offsets are within the buffer. Truncated strings such as "<a/" can trigger an out-of-bounds read. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-57075 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet YAML::Syck versions before 1.47 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via a signed-char lookup-table index in syck_base64dec. The base64 decoder in the bundled libsyck indexes the 256-entry static table b64_xtable with a signed char, so any !!binary byte >= 0x80 sign-extends to a negative index and reads before the table. The decoder receives the raw bytes of any !!binary node, a standard YAML type not gated by $LoadBlessed or $LoadCode, so it is reached on the default Load path. Any caller that runs Load or LoadFile on an untrusted document containing a !!binary scalar with a high-bit byte triggers the read, and the value read can surface in the decoded result. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59139 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::ReqRep::Shared versions before 0.05 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via an unvalidated arena offset and length in reqrep_recv_locked. The attach-time validator reqrep_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the array contents it then trusts. reqrep_recv_locked does memcpy(copy_buf, req_arena + arena_off, len) with arena_off and len read raw from the mmap'd segment and never bounded against the arena capacity (req_arena_cap). A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning a request slot's offset and length, so receiving the request copies a file-controlled offset and length out of the arena, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59140 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::SortedSet::Shared versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via unvalidated node indices in the rank and min/max query paths. The attach-time validator ss_validate_header bounds only the root index against the node pool (node_capacity). The order-statistics and min/max queries then follow children[], leftmost and rightmost node indices read raw from the mmap'd segment without bounding them against node_capacity. A full structural check (ss_validate_tree) exists but runs only via an explicit validate method, not on attach. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning the tree links, so the next rank, min or max query dereferences an out-of-bounds node index, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59141 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::RadixTree::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via unvalidated node and arena indices in rdx_find_locked. The attach-time validator rdx_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the node records it then trusts. rdx_find_locked indexes nodes[cur].children[k] and reads each node's label_off and label_len raw from the mmap'd segment, none bounded against the node count or the arena size. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning the node records, so a lookup dereferences an out-of-bounds node or arena index, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59142 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::HashMap::Shared versions before 0.14 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via an unvalidated arena offset and length in shm_str_copy. The attach-time validator shm_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the array contents it then trusts. shm_str_copy does memcpy(dst, arena + off, len) with off and len read raw from the mmap'd segment and unbounded, on the each, keys, values, pop, shift, take, swap, drain and cursor paths. The get path bounds off and len separately and is not affected. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning a record's offset and length, so iterating or draining the map copies a file-controlled offset and length out of the arena, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59145 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::Intern::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via unvalidated slot, reverse and arena indices in si_idx_find. The attach-time validator si_validate_header is thorough about the header and layout (magic, version, section offsets, total_size, count and arena_used) but does not validate the three arrays it then trusts. Every lookup in si_idx_find walks a triple indirection read straight from the mmap'd segment, arena[reverse[slots[i].id]], with no bound on slots[i].id against count, on the reverse[id] arena offset against arena_used, or on the arena record's length prefix. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning a slot id, a reverse offset or an arena length prefix, so an id_of, intern or string lookup dereferences the chain out of bounds; because string() returns a file-controlled length of bytes from the arena, adjacent process memory can be disclosed. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-17552 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Plack::App::Prerender versions before 0.3.0 for Perl can proxy to an arbitrary host via unvalidated REQUEST_URI concatenation in call. When the rewrite base is a plain string, the REQUEST_URI is appended to it, with no check that the path starts with a forward slash ('/'). When the rewrite base does not contain a path (which is the standard given in the SYNOPSIS), an attacker can create a request that changes the hostname. A request target starting with an at-sign ('@') changes the base to a RFC 3986 userinfo component. For example, a rewrite base of "https://example.com" with the submitted request "GET @192.168.1.2/" will send a request to "https://[email protected]/", with the rendered content returned to the attacker. This allows an attacker to access internal or restricted hosts that only the webserver has access to. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-9390 9.1 critical 1.0% xml\, \ XML::Sig versions before 0.71 for Perl allow XPath injection in ID lookup. verify() and _get_signed_xml() in lib/XML/Sig.pm build XPath expressions by concatenating the SignedInfo/Reference/@URI value read from the document being verified. The value is neither escaped nor checked against the NCName grammar that XML requires of an ID, so a URI containing a single quote closes the string literal in the generated expression and appends arbitrary XPath operators. A crafted URI can make the lookup match elements the reference does not name, or every element in the document, so which node is selected for digest verification is decided by the injected expression rather than by the reference. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-72889 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Net::OAuth versions before 0.33 for Perl allow the sender to choose the signature algorithm in verify. verify resolves the signature method class from the signature_method parameter of the incoming message. signature_method is required on every request, so the algorithm used to check a signature is chosen by whoever sent it, and nothing lets the verifying party pin the method instead. When a message names HMAC-SHA1 or HMAC-SHA256, the key is derived from consumer_secret and token_secret rather than from the key the provider deployed. A provider deployed on RSA-SHA1 holds only the consumer public key, and RFC 5849 does not use consumer_secret for that method, so the required parameter is filled with a placeholder. A client that names HMAC-SHA1 instead has its signature checked against that placeholder, so a guessable one is enough to forge requests for any consumer key and token. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-10879 9.8 critical 0.00% perl, dbi DBI versions before 1.648 for Perl have a heap overflow when preparsing SQL statements with more than 9 binders. The preparse method expands SQL placeholder characters to numbered binders of the form :pN, but only allocates three characters per binder in the buffer. Placeholders 10-99 require four characters, 100-999 require five characters, et cetera. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-8721 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Crypt::OpenSSL::PKCS12 versions through 1.94 for Perl truncates passwords with embedded NULLs. Password parameters in PKCS12.xs are declared char *, which routes through Perl's default typemap to SvPV_nolen. The Perl length is discarded. The C code (or OpenSSL internally) calls strlen() on the buffer. Any password byte at or after the first NULL is silently dropped. Binary / KDF-derived / HMAC-derived passwords lose entropy without any warnings. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-11362 9.8 critical 0.00% binary, datadog\ DataDog::DogStatsd versions through 0.07 for Perl allow metric injections from event tags. DataDog::DogStatsd does not properly sanitise input, allowing metric injections of data from untrusted sources. The format_event method (used by the event method) does not validate the content of the tags, which may contain commas (allowing tags to be injected) or newlines, pipes and colons that allow metric injections. (There is an ineffective s/|//g to remove pipes, but because the pipe is not escaped, it is interpreted as a regular expression metacharacter and has no effect.) 25 Oct
CVE-2026-14739 9.8 critical 0.00% perl, dbi DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl have a heap overflow when preparsing SQL statements with an extreme number of placeholders. The fix for CVE-2026-10879 did not allocate enough memory to handle approximately 1.2-million placeholders. DBI version 1.650 sets a hard limit of 99,999 placeholders. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-57433 9.8 critical 0.00% nwclark, storable Storable versions before 3.41 for Perl have a signed integer overflow when deserializing a crafted SX_HOOK record. retrieve_hook_common reads a signed 32-bit item count from an SX_HOOK record and calls av_extend with that count plus one. A count of I32_MAX wraps the addition to a negative value. A crafted blob passed to thaw or retrieve triggers the overflow; av_extend receives the negative count and dies with a panic, terminating the deserialization. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-18108 9.8 critical 0.00% timlegge, net\ Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow authentication bypass because _verify_encrypted_assertion accepts an EncryptedAssertion whose decrypted content carries no signature. _verify_encrypted_assertion decrypts the EncryptedAssertion and returns it as verified when it carries no signature, via "return $xml unless $xpath->exists('dsig:Signature', $assert);". The signature check and the trust anchor check that follow run only when a signature is present, so a decrypted assertion with no dsig:Signature element reaches new_from_xml unverified and its NameID and attributes are read into the assertion object. An SP's encryption certificate is published in its SAML metadata so the IdP can encrypt to it, so any party can encrypt an unsigned assertion to that certificate, wrap it in a samlp:Response, and post it to the assertion consumer service. Any caller that configures a decryption key_file, and so accepts EncryptedAssertions, takes identity fields from an assertion that no trust anchor covers, and an unauthenticated party can authenticate as an arbitrary user. Callers with no key_file configured do not decrypt and are unaffected. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-110759 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl return a 0xFF byte that is not in the input for an empty last field followed by a lone CR in parse. When the input to parse ends in a separator and a lone CR, the parser treats the end of the input as the next character and stores the end-of-file marker in the field as the byte 0xFF. With binary set, parse("a,\r") returns the fields "a" and "\xFF". On UTF-8 flagged input the last field is a UTF-8 flagged string holding that lone byte, which is malformed UTF-8. The same input with a non-empty last field is rejected as an error. A CRLF file read line by line and chomped ends this way when its last column is empty, so the application receives a byte that is not in its input. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-110757 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl allow record splitting by writing strings used as numbers without quotes in combine. combine and print do not check whether a field needs quotes when its value has Perl's integer or numeric flag set. Perl sets these flags on a string used in a numeric operation when it parses as a number, which allows leading and trailing whitespace. With binary set, as csv does by default, "12\n" passes a check such as $qty > 0 and is then written unquoted with its newline. A value validated as a number can end the record early and turn the fields after it into a separate row. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-110756 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl drop the end of a record and its line ending when a UTF-8 flagged field precedes invalid UTF-8 bytes in print. When a record contains a UTF-8 flagged field, print holds back trailing bytes that are not valid UTF-8 at each buffer flush, so that a character split across two flushes can be completed. Nothing writes the held-back bytes after the record's final flush. A record whose last field ends in such a byte loses it, any closing quote and the line ending, while print still returns true. combine is not affected. The next record is written onto the same line, or, when the last field was quoted, the missing closing quote makes a reader take every following record as part of that field. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-110753 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Text::CSV_XS versions from 1.46 before 1.65 for Perl have a use-after-free of bind_columns variables when skip_empty_rows skips an empty line in getline. With bind_columns, the parser writes each field into the caller's own scalar without taking a reference to it. When skip_empty_rows skips an empty last line, the parser frees the current field scalar without checking whether it is bound, dropping one reference from the application's variable. The "eof" mode does the same on any empty line. The variable is then freed while the application still references it, so later code uses freed memory and can crash the process. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-93582 9.4 critical 0.00% no CPE yet The HTTP Basic Authentication modules in ((OTRS)) Community Edition 6 and prior accept the authenticated username from either the REMOTE_USER or HTTP_REMOTE_USER environment variable. In CGI and mod_perl based deployments, HTTP request headers may be mapped to corresponding HTTP_* environment variables. As a result, an unauthenticated remote attacker can supply a crafted Remote-User request header which is exposed to the application as HTTP_REMOTE_USER. When HTTP Basic Authentication is configured as the authentication backend, OTRS trusts this value as an already authenticated username and does not perform an additional password verification. An attacker may therefore authenticate through the Generic Interface as an existing agent or customer user without knowing the corresponding credentials. The resulting privileges depend on the account being impersonated. Successful exploitation may allow access to confidential information and modification of data or configuration with the permissions of the affected user. Exploitation requires HTTP Basic Authentication to be configured as an authentication backend and a web server environment in which attacker-controlled HTTP headers are exposed through the corresponding HTTP_* environment variables. OTRS 7 and later are not affected by this attack vector due to the use of Mojolicious/Hypnotoad and does not expose arbitrary request headers through %ENV in the manner required for exploitation. The supported REMOTE_USER mechanism additionally requires validation through the configured SSO shared secret. The unused HTTP_REMOTE_USER fallback has nevertheless been removed as a security-hardening measure. Please note that ((OTRS)) Community Edition 6.x and before are vulnerable. Products based on the ((OTRS)) Community Edition also very likely to be affected 15 Oct
CVE-2025-40934 9.3 critical 0.00% xml\, \ XML-Sig versions 0.27 through 0.67 for Perl incorrectly validates XML files if signatures are omitted. An attacker can remove the signature from the XML document to make it pass the verification check. XML-Sig is a Perl module to validate signatures on XML files. An unsigned XML file should return an error message. The affected versions return true when attempting to validate an XML file that contains no signatures. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-5085 9.1 critical 0.00% mcrawfor, solstice\ Solstice::Session versions through 1440 for Perl generates session ids insecurely. The _generateSessionID method returns an MD5 digest seeded by the epoch time, a random hash reference, a call to the built-in rand() function and the process id. The same method is used in the _generateID method in Solstice::Subsession, which is part of the same distribution. The epoch time may be guessed, if it is not leaked in the HTTP Date header. Stringified hash refences will contain predictable content. The built-in rand() function is seeded by 16-bits and is unsuitable for security purposes. The process id comes from a small set of numbers. Predictable session ids could allow an attacker to gain access to systems. Mon 26 Oct
