CVE-2026-40602 5.6 medium 0.00% home-assistant-ecosystem, home_assistant_command-line_interface The Home Assistant Command-line interface (hass-cli) is a command-line tool for Home Assistant. Up to 1.0.0 of home-assitant-cli an unrestricted environment was used to handle Jninja2 templates instead of a sandboxed one. The user-supplied input within Jinja2 templates was rendered locally with no restrictions. This gave users access to Python's internals and extended the scope of templating beyond the intended usage. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-53456 5.6 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Blueprint Studio is a VS Code-like file editor for Home Assistant configuration files. Prior to 2.5.2, Blueprint Studio terminal SSH key authentication in custom_components/blueprint_studio/backend/terminal_manager.py wrote SSH private-key material to a file under the Home Assistant configuration directory before applying restrictive permissions and relied on best-effort cleanup. The key could temporarily remain on disk and could persist if cleanup failed or Home Assistant crashed. A user or process with filesystem access to the Home Assistant configuration directory could obtain the residual private key. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.2. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-27315 5.5 medium 0.00% apache, cassandra Sensitive Information Leak in cqlsh in Apache Cassandra 4.0 allows access to sensitive information, like passwords, from previously executed cqlsh command via ~/.cassandra/cqlsh_history local file access. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.20, which fixes this issue. -- Description: Cassandra's command-line tool, cqlsh, provides a command history feature that allows users to recall previously executed commands using the up/down arrow keys. These history records are saved in the ~/.cassandra/cqlsh_history file in the user's home directory. However, cqlsh does not redact sensitive information when saving command history. This means that if a user executes operations involving passwords (such as logging in or creating users) within cqlsh, these passwords are permanently stored in cleartext in the history file on the disk. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-58198 5.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet ChatterBot is a machine learning, conversational dialog engine for creating chat bots. Prior to 1.2.14, UbuntuCorpusTrainer.extract() uses a predictable home-rooted output directory (~/ubuntu_data/ubuntu_dialogs) with a check-then-create pattern followed by tar.extractall(path=self.data_path), allowing a local attacker who pre-plants a symlink at the predictable path to cause archive contents to be written through the symlink to an attacker-chosen directory. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.14. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-44965 5.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet In versions of the Datadog Android application prior to v545-5.9.2, six App Widget configuration activities (IncidentWidgetActivity, MonitorSavedViewWidgetActivity, OnCallShiftsWidgetActivity, OnCallPagesWidgetActivity, SloWidgetActivity, DashboardWidgetActivity) are exported with no permission guard. Each accepts a caller-supplied AppWidgetManager.EXTRA_APPWIDGET_ID and, when no deep-link destination is resolved, uses it to load the matching widget's stored session and automatically log in as that user. Because Android widget IDs are small sequential integers, a co-installed application can brute-force this value to find one that matches a widget configured on the victim's device. This requires: A malicious application co-installed on the victim's device. At least one of the six widgets configured on the victim's home screen. An active Datadog session cached locally. Impact: The matching configuration activity opens in the foreground under the victim's session and renders live infrastructure data. Exposure is limited to a visual side channel (e.g., screen recording or accessibility services); the calling application cannot programmatically read the rendered data. Fri 23 Oct

CVE-2026-64325 5.5 medium 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7921/mt7925: fix NULL dereference in CSA beacon This patch is based on a BUG as reported by Bongani Hlope at https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]/ When a channel-switch announcement (CSA) beacon is received, cfg80211 queues a wiphy work item that eventually calls mt7921_channel_switch_rx_beacon(). If the station disconnects (or the channel context is otherwise torn down) between the time the work is queued and the time it runs, the driver's dev->new_ctx pointer can already have been cleared to NULL. mt7921_channel_switch_rx_beacon() then dereferences new_ctx unconditionally, triggering a NULL pointer dereference at address 0x0: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000 RIP: 0010:mt7921_channel_switch_rx_beacon+0x1f/0x100 [mt7921_common] The same missing guard exists in mt7925_channel_switch_rx_beacon(), which shares the same code pattern introduced by the same commit. Add an early-return NULL check for dev->new_ctx in both mt7921_channel_switch_rx_beacon() and mt7925_channel_switch_rx_beacon(). When new_ctx is NULL there is no pending channel switch to process, so returning immediately is the correct and safe action. Oops-Analysis: http://oops.fenrus.org/reports/lkml/[email protected]/report.html 15 Oct
CVE-2026-108799 5.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability was determined in jackq XCMS up to 3fab5342cc509945a7ce1b8ec39d19f701b89261. CVE-2021-29429 5.5 medium 0.00% gradle, quarkus In Gradle before version 7.0, files created with open permissions in the system temporary directory can allow an attacker to access information downloaded by Gradle. Some builds could be vulnerable to a local information disclosure. Remote files accessed through TextResourceFactory are downloaded into the system temporary directory first. Sensitive information contained in these files can be exposed to other local users on the same system. If you do not use the `TextResourceFactory` API, you are not vulnerable. As of Gradle 7.0, uses of the system temporary directory have been moved to the Gradle User Home directory. By default, this directory is restricted to the user running the build. As a workaround, set a more restrictive umask that removes read access to other users. When files are created in the system temporary directory, they will not be accessible to other users. If you are unable to change your system's umask, you can move the Java temporary directory by setting the System Property `java.io.tmpdir`. The new path needs to limit permissions to the build user only. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-75520 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Domoticz is a free, open source home automation system for Linux, Windows, macOS, and Raspberry Pi. Prior to 2026.3, the `udevices` JSON command handler, `Cmd_UpdateDevices` in `main/WebServerCmds.cpp`, performed no `session.rights` check before invoking a Lua parser script, while its sibling command handlers gate access by role. A low-privilege authenticated user could trigger execution of an existing operator-installed Lua parser script with attacker-controlled input through the `GET /json.htm` endpoint with `type=command` and `param=udevices`. The `script` parameter also lacked a `..` path-traversal guard: `CLuaHandler::executeLuaScript` in `main/LuaHandler.cpp` constructed the filename from the parser directory and the supplied script name before passing it to `luaL_loadfile`. Execution is limited to already-installed valid Lua files; this is not arbitrary code execution, and the advisory states that file-write and upload paths require administrator privileges. This issue is addressed in version 2026.3. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-40923 5.4 medium 0.00% linuxfoundation, tekton_pipelines Tekton Pipelines project provides k8s-style resources for declaring CI/CD-style pipelines. Starting in version 1.0.0 and prior to versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1, a validation bypass in the VolumeMount path restriction allows mounting volumes under restricted /tekton/ internal paths by using .. path traversal components. The restriction check uses strings.HasPrefix without filepath.Clean, so a path like /tekton/home/../results passes validation but resolves to /tekton/results at runtime. Versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1 fix the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-5077 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Total theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via post titles in versions up to, and including, 2.2.1 due to insufficient output escaping when rendering the_title() inside HTML attribute context in the home blog section template. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the malicious post to be published and displayed with a featured image in the Home Page blog section. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-114608 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Pylint is a static code analyser for Python. From 0.15.2 until 4.0.9, Pylint stores module statistics in predictable files under PYLINT_HOME and loads those files with pickle.load on a later run. An attacker who can write to a shared, group-writable, or otherwise untrusted cache directory can replace a stats cache with crafted serialized data, causing arbitrary code to execute with the privileges of the user who next runs Pylint. The default per-user cache is not normally writable by another user. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.9. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-69229 5.4 medium 0.00% esri, portal_for_arcgis There is an HTML injection vulnerability in Esri Portal for ArcGIS versions 12.0 and prior that allows a remote, authenticated attacker to insert arbitrary HTML into the Portal for ArcGIS Home application. Users working with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1, 11.3, 11.5 and 12.0 are encouraged to patch. All users are advised to upgrade to the latest long-term support release. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-29203 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet A chmod call in the cPanel Nova plugin's Cpanel::Nova::Connector follows symlinks, allowing setting root permissions on arbitrary system files or directories. That can cause DoS or local privilege escalation when an authenticated cPanel user places a symlink at a user-controlled legacy Nova path under their home directory. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49447 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Cosmos provides users the ability self-host a home server by acting as a secure gateway to your application, as well as a server manager. In 0.22.18, `GET /cosmos/api/constellation/public-devices` discloses Constellation device metadata to a requester that supplies any non-empty Authorization header. The handler strips the string Bearer from the header but never validates the resulting token and never uses it in the database query. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.22.19. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-53458 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Blueprint Studio is a VS Code-like file editor for Home Assistant configuration files. Prior to 2.5.2, Blueprint Studio backend API handlers in custom_components/blueprint_studio/backend/api.py returned raw exception strings to authenticated Home Assistant users. Some exception messages could contain internal filesystem paths or implementation details. The disclosed information could help an authenticated user fingerprint a Home Assistant installation and refine follow-up attacks. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.2. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-105661 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Requesting `/{username}/-/repositories` for an individual user instead of an organization made the organization home handler dereference a nil organization and panic. The request needs no authentication and no special configuration. The server answered with an HTTP 500 error and logged a panic for each request; the fix returns 404 for individual users. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-113461 5.2 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Local privilege escalation in Checkmk 2.5.0p14 allows a local user with write access to the Oracle client library directory of an Oracle home listed in the 'oratab' file or to the 'oratab' file itself to execute code as root if an agent has the 'mk-oracle' plugin enabled. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-48535 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet GFI Archiver before 15.13 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Call Home proxy server configuration that allows authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the proxy server address parameter to /Archiver/CallHomeSettingsWizard.aspx. The injected payload is stored by CallHomeSettingsWizard.SaveAllConfigSettings() without output encoding and is executed in the browsers of users who subsequently view the General Settings Additional Settings page. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59854 4.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.1, POST /api/file/globalCopyFiles accepts attacker-supplied absolute source paths and relies on util.IsSensitivePath in kernel/util/path.go, whose denylist misses common home-directory credential files such as .git-credentials, .netrc, .pgpass, .kube/config, .docker/config.json, and .gnupg, allowing an authenticated administrator or API-token user to copy those files into the workspace and exfiltrate them through the file API. This issue is fixed in versions 3.7.1-alpha.2 and 3.7.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-69238 4.8 medium 0.00% esri, portal_for_arcgis There is an HTML injection vulnerability in Esri Portal for ArcGIS versions 11.5 and prior that allows a remote, highly priviliged attacker to insert arbitrary HTML into the Portal for ArcGIS Home application. Users working with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1, 11.3, and 11.5 are encouraged to patch. All users are advised to upgrade to the latest long-term support release. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-59717 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy. Prior to 2026.6.1, the Android Companion app is vulnerable to an open redirect. The app passes the URL fragment from a homeassistant://invite deep link into the onboarding flow without ever displaying the destination hostname. Because no screen in the invitation or onboarding flow shows the parsed server URL before onboarding commits to it, a victim has no way to distinguish a legitimate invite from a malicious one. An attacker can craft an invite so that a single tap on the legitimate-looking "Connect to my Home Assistant server" button opens their /auth/authorize endpoint in the URL-less onboarding WebView, presenting a look-alike login page that captures the victim's credentials. Since invitations are intended to onboard brand-new users, targets are especially unlikely to notice the substitution. This issue is fixed in version 2026.6.1. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-13306 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Autel MaxiCharger AC Elite Home USB Authentication Bypass Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows physically present attackers to bypass authentication on affected installations of Autel MaxiCharger AC Elite Home EV chargers. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the exposed USB interface. The issue results from the lack of authentication prior to allowing access to functionality. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to bypass authentication on the system. Was ZDI-CAN-29046. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-103028 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. From 2.5.0 until 2.7.6, an authenticated user with copy permission can copy a source file denied by denied_patterns or outside allowed_patterns to an allowed destination name because file-pattern filters are evaluated only on the destination. The user can then read the denied file contents. Recursive directory copies can reproduce restricted contents under an allowed path, and the hide policy is bypassed because files that appear missing to stat and directory listings can still be copied. Home-directory boundaries, virtual-folder layout, per-directory permissions, access to other accounts, and administrative authorization remain enforced. This issue is fixed in 2.7.6. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-65713 4.0 medium 0.00% home-assistant Home Assistant Core before v2025.8.0 is vulnerable to Directory Traversal. The Downloader integration does not fully validate file paths during concatenation, leaving a path traversal vulnerability. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-62794 3.8 low 0.00% no CPE yet GitHub Workflow Updater is a VS Code extension that automatically pins GitHub Actions to specific commits for enhanced security. Before 0.0.7, any provided Github token would be stored in plaintext in the editor configuration as json on disk, rather than through the more secure "securestorage" api. An attacker with read only access to your home directory could have read this token and used it to perform actions with that token. Update to 0.0.7. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-49245 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. From 2.2.0 until 2.7.3, the inline query parameter on browsable-share file downloads and authenticated user-file downloads suppresses Content-Disposition: attachment, allowing an attacker-controlled HTML file stored in a share or home directory to be served as text/html in the SFTPGo web origin. An attacker who can place the file can send a crafted link to a victim, and opening that link executes the stored content in the victim's browser context. Exploitation requires social engineering and suitable share or shared-folder access, while HttpOnly session cookies limit direct cookie theft. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.3. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-107448 3.4 low 0.00% no CPE yet Magic: The Gathering Arena (Windows/Steam client; 2026.59.30.12801.127931.6 and certain later 2026.60.x builds) passes a server-supplied URL from a home-screen carousel GoToExternalUrl action directly to the Windows shell via Application.OpenURL/ShellExecuteW without validating the URI scheme or domain. A hypothetical attacker able to control the carousel content delivered to clients can cause arbitrary registered URI-scheme handlers to be invoked on client hosts with no user interaction. For example, one might expect that the carousel content only has https: URIs, not ms-calculator: URIs. 10 Oct
CVE-2026-112026 2.9 low 0.00% no CPE yet A security vulnerability has been detected in light0011 cms c774dce31c6df0055568a8d5c53d964d99be199d/f72cf46f601efb2a0618c3814cc2f61380b38930. Affected is the function sha1 of the file App/Home/Model/UserModel.class.php. The manipulation of the argument Password leads to password hash with insufficient computational effort. The attack may be initiated remotely. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-65610 2.4 low 0.00% no CPE yet nnn stores homelen variable as uchar_t, which can only represent values in the range 0-255. An attacker who can influence the victim's execution environment can provide an arbitrary HOME path with length that is truncated to 0. The expression (homelen - 1) is promoted to signed int and becomes -1 and producing an out-of-bounds read and an out-of-bounds write one byte before the path buffer. Maintainer of this project was notified about this vulnerability. It might has been addressed, but the maintainer did not provide a vulnerable version range. Only version 5.2 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-116274 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability has been found in JIZHICMS up to 2.5.6. This affects the function Pay of the file app/home/c/OrderController.php of the component Front-end Order Handler. Such manipulation of the argument orderno leads to improper authorization. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-15921 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Node Version Manager (nvm) is a POSIX-compliant shell function for managing multiple node.js versions. In versions 0.32.1 through 0.40.5, `nvm ls-remote` (and other commands that refresh remote LTS aliases, such as `nvm install --lts`) parse the node.js mirror's `index.tab` and use each release's LTS codename field as an alias filename without validating it. A malicious, compromised, or man-in-the-middled mirror can return an LTS codename containing path-traversal sequences such as `../../../.bashrc`, causing nvm to write the associated version string to a path outside `$NVM_DIR/alias`. With the default layout (`$NVM_DIR` is `~/.nvm`), this can create or overwrite files in the user's home directory, including shell startup files, which can lead to code execution in a later shell session. Exploitation requires the victim to use a hostile mirror -- via a compromised mirror or CDN, a network man-in-the-middle, or a maliciously configured `NVM_NODEJS_ORG_MIRROR`/`NVM_IOJS_ORG_MIRROR` -- and to run an affected command. Version 0.40.6 validates remote LTS codenames as safe alias filenames and rejects `..` path components when writing alias files. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-64823 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Home Assistant Core before 2026.5.4 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Shelly integration's async_get_media_image() method that allows attackers controlling a Shelly device's thumb field to serve arbitrary HTML content by supplying a data URI with a text/html content type without validation against an image-only allowlist. Attackers can cause the media player proxy endpoint to serve attacker-controlled bytes with Content-Type text/html in the Home Assistant web origin, enabling theft of session tokens from local storage and authenticated calls to sensitive service endpoints including lock, alarm, and cover controls. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-4969 2.0 low 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability was identified in code-projects Social Networking Site 1.0. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file /home.php of the component Alert Handler. The manipulation of the argument content leads to cross site scripting. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-19209 2.0 low 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw has been found in SourceCodester Photo Share Website 1.0. The affected element is an unknown function of the file /social/index.php?page=home. This manipulation of the argument Comment causes cross site scripting. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-113715 2.0 low 0.00% no CPE yet virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, the stdlib venv creator reads generated pyvenv.cfg with str.splitlines() and merges parsed keys over virtualenv's selected configuration. An untrusted caller who influences the destination pathname can include a line-boundary character such as U+2028 to inject keys including home and include-system-site-packages, causing path data to change configuration structure before final output. Setting include-system-site-packages to true weakens environment isolation, while an altered home can change which standard-library files the interpreter loads if the attacker also controls that location. The builtin creator does not use this readback path. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9. 23 Oct
CVE-2025-64059 1.8 low 0.00% no CPE yet Grav 1.7.50.2 allows admins to enter JavaScript via the Home Page editor. NOTE: the relevance of this for stored XSS is disputed because admins are allowed to modify templates, install plugins, and upload other executable content. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-107051 unscored — no CPE yet Insecure permissions in klassm AndFHEM v2.4.1 (versionCode 241, the verified build) allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily manipulate another user's FHEM home-automation control configurations. 18 h ago
CVE-2026-117626 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet Jenkins 2.587 and earlier, LTS 2.580.1 and earlier improperly identifies file paths attempting path traversal in the file browser for workspaces and $JENKINS_HOME/userContent/, allowing attackers with Overall/Read permission to obtain the names, sizes, and last modification times of files in the $JENKINS_HOME, and attackers with Item/Workspace permission to obtain the names of jobs that have a workspace on the same agent. CVE-2026-98418 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/core: Avoid false migration warning for proxy donors Proxy execution can move a blocked donor's scheduling context to the lock owner's CPU even when the donor is migration-disabled. The donor does not execute there, and its original execution CPU remains recorded in wake_cpu. set_task_cpu() warns unconditionally for migration-disabled tasks, so a subsequent proxy migration or the wakeup path returning the donor home triggers a false positive: moving a blocked scheduling context does not violate the migration-disabled execution context. For example, creating a mutex owner on CPU1 and a migration-disabled waiter on CPU0 can trigger the following warning: proxy_migrate_repro: donor blocking on CPU0 with migration disabled proxy_migrate_repro: donor moved from CPU0 to CPU1 WARNING: kernel/sched/core.c:3389 at set_task_cpu+0x1d3/0x280 ... Call Trace: try_to_wake_up+0x43f/0x780 __mutex_unlock_slowpath+0x330/0x540 owner_fn+0x9f/0xc0 [proxy_migrate_repro] ... proxy_migrate_repro: donor woke on CPU0, task_cpu=0 proxy_migrate_repro: completed Exclude blocked proxy donors from the warning. The proxy wakeup path restores an executable placement before clearing the blocked state. 19 Oct
