| CVE-2026-24781 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | vm2_project, vm2 | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to version 3.11.0, VM2 suffers from a sandbox breakout vulnerability through the inspect function. This allows attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This issue has been patched in version 3.11.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-26956 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | vm2_project, vm2 | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. In version 3.10.4, vm2 is vulnerable to full sandbox escape with arbitrary code execution. Attacker code inside VM.run() obtains host process object and runs host commands with zero host cooperation. This issue has been patched in version 3.10.5. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44008 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | vm2_project, vm2 | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.2, the new method neutralizeArraySpeciesBatch works with objects from the other side but can call into this side via getter on the array prototype exposing objects of the wrong side into the sandbox. This can be used to get host objects and get the host Function object. This allows attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.2. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44009 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | vm2_project, vm2 | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.2, This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.2. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45411 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | vm2_project, vm2 | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.3, it is possible to catch a host exception using the yield* expression inside an async generator. When the generator is closed using the return function, the value is awaited on and exceptions thrown in the then call will be caught by the runtime and passed to the yield* iterator as the next value. This allows attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.3. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-24120 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | vm2_project, vm2 | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to version 3.10.5, the fix for CVE-2023-37466 is insufficient and can be circumvented allowing attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This issue has been patched in version 3.10.5. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53633 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Vitest is a testing framework powered by Vite. From 3.0.0 until 3.2.5, 4.1.8, and 5.0.0-beta.4, Vitest Browser Mode exposed a cdp() API that forwarded raw Chrome DevTools Protocol methods without being gated by allowWrite or allowExec, allowing a remote client with exposed browser API metadata to use CDP Page.setDownloadBehavior and Runtime.evaluate to overwrite vite.config.ts and execute attacker-controlled Node.js code. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 4.1.8, and 5.0.0-beta. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47698 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.6, lib/bridge.js and lib/setup-sandbox.js fail to block stacked indirection through Function.prototype.call around dangerous host prototype getter and setter mutators, allowing sandbox code to sever a host intrinsic's prototype chain and reach e.constructor.constructor for arbitrary host command execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.6. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-69264 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | flowiseai, flowise | Prior to 3.1.3, Flowise CSVAgent interpolates an attacker-controlled segment of the csvFile data URI directly into a Python source-code template that is then executed by Pyodide. Because Pyodide is loaded with the default js bridge to globalThis, which on Node.js exposes eval and dynamic import, the attacker can break out of the Python string literal, hand a JavaScript string to js.eval, dynamically import Node built-in modules such as fs and child_process, and execute arbitrary file I/O or OS commands as the Flowise process. The two validator paths around this code, validatePythonCodeForDataFrame and validateCustomReadCSVFunction, are never applied to the bootstrap template. A workspace user with chatflows:create or agentflows/chatflows update permission can plant a CSV Agent node with a crafted csvFile; once the chatflow is exposed via POST /api/v1/prediction/:id, any unauthenticated request triggers host remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.3. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66395 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | SiYuan desktop before v3.7.2 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the bazaar plugin readme handler that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by crafting a malicious siyuan:// deep link. Attackers can inject HTML payloads via the plugin name parameter that execute with full Node.js access through insertAdjacentHTML rendering in an insecurely configured Electron renderer. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-82244 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Budibase versions before 3.41.3 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in plugin handling that allows authenticated admin users to execute arbitrary code by uploading a malicious plugin tarball. The server calls eval() on plugin JavaScript files without sandboxing in the main Node.js process, enabling attackers to exfiltrate environment variables and credentials with root privileges in default deployments. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44990 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system, and sanitize-html provides a simple HTML sanitizer with a clear API. Under the default configuration, versions of `sanitize-html` prior to 2.17.4 can turn attacker-controlled content inside a disallowed `xmp` element into live HTML or JavaScript. This is a sanitizer bypass in the default `disallowedTagsMode: 'discard'` path and can lead to stored XSS in applications that render sanitized output back to users. Version 2.17.4 patches the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66396 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | SiYuan before v3.7.2 fails to escape the title-img Individual Attribute List value when rendering Gallery and Kanban cover images, allowing stored cross-site scripting via unescaped style attribute interpolation. Attackers with editor permissions can inject onload handlers that execute arbitrary code in the Electron renderer with full Node.js access when victims open affected documents. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107699 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | ppt2png through 0.0.6 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute operating system commands by supplying unsanitized input or output path arguments. Attackers can append shell metacharacters such as ';' to file names passed to child_process.exec() in ppt2png.js, running commands with Node.js process privileges. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107700 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | dot-access 0.0.3 through 1.0.0 contains a code injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript by supplying crafted paths to get(). The path is concatenated into a new Function body in index.js, so attackers can reach constructor.constructor to load child_process and run operating system commands in the Node.js process. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59873 | 9.2 critical | 1.0% | isaacs, tar | node-tar is a tar archive manipulation library for Node.js. Prior to 7.5.19, node-tar does not enforce hard upper bounds on total decompressed data, entry counts, or decompression ratio in extraction and parsing paths such as src/extract.ts, allowing a small crafted gzip bomb to exhaust disk space and CPU. This issue is fixed in version 7.5.19. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-69255 | 9.2 critical | 1.0% | flowiseai, flowise | Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.3, the CSVAgent in packages/components/nodes/agents/CSVAgent/CSVAgent.ts extracted attacker-controlled CSV data with file.split(',').pop() and interpolated it directly into executable Python as base64_string = "${base64String}" before calling Pyodide. The validatePythonCodeForDataFrame() denylist only checked later LLM-generated code and did not validate this initial code block. An authenticated attacker could inject a closing quote followed by Python code, use Pyodide's js bridge to load Node.js child_process, and execute arbitrary operating system commands as root in the Flowise container. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.3. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55240 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Tianji is an open source analytics, uptime monitoring, and server status platform. Prior to 1.31.29, formatString() in src/server/utils/template.ts passes survey feedTemplate and monitor notification templates to lodash template(), while the default evaluate pattern remains enabled. A workspace administrator can store an evaluate block using the <% code %> form, and the public survey.submit endpoint renders a survey template when an unauthenticated user submits a response. The compiled template executes server-side JavaScript in the Tianji Node.js process, allowing command execution, secret disclosure, data modification, or service disruption. This issue is fixed in version 1.31.29. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44007 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | vm2_project, vm2 | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.1, when a NodeVM is created with nesting: true, sandbox code can unconditionally require('vm2') regardless of the outer VM's require configuration — including require: false. With access to vm2, the sandbox constructs a new inner NodeVM with its own unrestricted require settings and executes arbitrary OS commands on the host. Any application that runs untrusted code inside a NodeVM with nesting: true is fully compromised. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48714 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | i18next, i18next-http-middleware | i18next-http-middleware is a middleware to be used with Node.js web frameworks like express or Fastify and also for Deno. In versions prior to 3.9.7, the missingKeyHandler blocked the literal request-body keys __proto__, constructor, and prototype (added in 3.9.3, see GHSA-5fgg-jcpf-8jjw), but did not reject dotted variants such as "__proto__.polluted". Downstream backends that split the missing-key string on a configured keySeparator (notably i18next-fs-backend ≤ 2.6.5) hand these keys to an unguarded setPath() walker that writes to Object.prototype. Applications that expose missingKeyHandler to untrusted input AND use i18next-fs-backend ≤ 2.6.5 are directly exploitable for remote prototype pollution. Other downstream backends that split the missing-key string the same way may be similarly affected. Depending on the host application, polluted prototype properties may cause crashes, corrupted translation behaviour, configuration poisoning, or bypasses of property-based security checks. This issue has been fixed in version 3.9.7. If developers cannot upgrade immediately, they should do the following: do not expose missingKeyHandler to untrusted users (mount it behind authentication, or remove the route), add a request-body filter ahead of the handler that rejects any top-level key containing __proto__, constructor, or prototype after splitting on their configured keySeparator, and disable missing-key persistence (saveMissing: false) when accepting writes from untrusted input. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53486 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The decompress package for Node.js extracts archives. Prior to 10.2.1 and 11.1.3, archive extraction can create files and links outside the target directory. When extracting an archive to a directory, a crafted archive can read or write files outside that directory because hardlink and symlink entries are created without checking where targets point, path containment used a string prefix comparison, and file modes failed to remove setuid, setgid, or sticky bits. This issue is fixed in @xhmikosr/decompress versions 10.2.1 and 11.1.3. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-69253 | 9.0 critical | 1.0% | flowiseai, flowise | Flowise is a drag-and-drop user interface for building customized large language model (LLM) flows. Prior to version 3.1.3, several custom-tool components — AgentAsTool, ChatflowTool, and ExecuteFlow — ran code in the in-process vm2 sandbox. To build that code, they inserted a user-controlled baseURL value straight into the JavaScript source, for example const url = "${baseURL}/..."; . The only check on baseURL was isValidURL , but a valid-looking URL can still contain characters that break out of a code string. An authenticated user could craft a baseURL that passed this check, closed the surrounding string, and injected their own JavaScript into the sandboxed script (code injection, CWE-94). The vm2 sandbox runs in the same Node.js process as Flowise and exposes risky dependencies. As a result, the injected code could escape the sandbox and run arbitrary code on the Flowise server as the Flowise process user. Exploitation only requires an authenticated session. The issue is fixed in version 3.1.3, which passes the URL to the sandbox as data instead of inserting it into code and adds stricter URL validation. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-41208 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | paperclip, paperclipai | Paperclip is a Node.js server and React UI that orchestrates a team of AI agents to run a business. Versions of @paperclipai/server prior to 2026.416.0 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows an attacker with an Agent API key to execute arbitrary OS commands on the Paperclip server host. An attacker with an agent credential can escalate privileges from the agent runtime to the Paperclip server host. The vulnerability occurs because agents are allowed to update their own adapterConfig via the /agents/:id API endpoint. The configuration field adapterConfig.workspaceStrategy.provisionCommand is later executed by the server runtime. As a result, an attacker controlling an agent credential can inject arbitrary shell commands which are executed by the Paperclip server during workspace provisioning. This breaks the intended trust boundary between agent runtime configuration and server host execution, allowing a compromised or malicious agent to escalate privileges and run commands on the host system. This vulnerability allows remote code execution on the server host. @paperclipai/server version 2026.416.0 fixes the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-41139 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | mathjs | Math.js is an extensive math library for JavaScript and Node.js. From version 13.1.0 to before version 15.2.0, arbitrary JavaScript can be executed via the expression parser of mathjs. This issue has been patched in version 15.2.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-85610 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | openpanel-dev, openpanel | OpenPanel before 2.3.0 fails to properly validate chart formula expressions, allowing authenticated project members with read access to execute arbitrary code by recovering the native JavaScript Function constructor through mathjs matrix objects. Attackers can use the recovered constructor to load Node.js built-ins and execute operating system commands with the privileges of the API process, bypassing organization authorization boundaries. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-39911 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | hedera, guardian | Hashgraph Guardian through version 3.5.1, fixed in commit 45fbe2f, contains an unsandboxed JavaScript execution vulnerability in the Custom Logic policy block worker that allows authenticated Standard Registry users to execute arbitrary code by passing user-supplied JavaScript expressions directly to the Node.js Function() constructor without isolation. Attackers can import native Node.js modules to read arbitrary files from the container filesystem, access process environment variables containing sensitive credentials such as RSA private keys, JWT signing keys, and API tokens, and forge valid authentication tokens for any user including administrators. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42856 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Network-AI is a TypeScript/Node.js multi-agent orchestrator. Prior to 5.1.3, the MCP HTTP transport accepts JSON-RPC tools/call requests with no authentication, session, origin, or token check, and dispatches them directly to the orchestrator's tool registry. The default bind address is 0.0.0.0. As a result, any party with network reachability to the service can enumerate and invoke privileged management tools. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.1.3. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47138 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.77 and 9.9.1-alpha.1, an unauthenticated attacker who knows a publicly-known Parse Application ID can submit a single HTTP request whose client SDK version field contains adversarial input that triggers polynomial backtracking in a request-header parser. The parsing runs before session authentication and before rate limiting on every /parse/* request, so the request consumes seconds to minutes of synchronous CPU on a Node.js worker before any access control evaluates it. A small number of concurrent requests can saturate a worker; a single large request via the body-field variant can pin a worker for minutes. Production deployments running the default configuration are affected. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.77 and 9.9.1-alpha.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57480 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 9.9.1-alpha.12 and 8.6.82, deeply nested $or, $and, and $nor query condition operators in the REST API or LiveQuery query handling could trigger exponential-time processing in the internal query-traversal helper and block the Node.js event loop. This issue is fixed in versions 9.9.1-alpha.12 and 8.6.82. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55968 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | apache, thrift | Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity, Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in Apache Thrift Node.js bindings. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.24.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.24.0, which fixes the issue. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55100 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | hashi-vault-js is a Node.js module for interacting with the HashiCorp Vault API. Prior to 0.5.2, src/Vault.js concatenates unencoded identifier values including name, username, group, role, and version into Vault request paths and query strings instead of using encodeURIComponent() and URLSearchParams, allowing path traversal and query parameter injection. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.2. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54722 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | DSSRF is a Node.js library that provides a wide range of utilities and advanced SSRF defense checks. Prior to 1.0.4, is_url_safe in src/helpers.ts strips the @ userinfo delimiter with remove_at_symbol_in_string before new URL parses the URL, allowing an attacker-controlled URL to bypass internal-IP validation and cause a client using the original URL to reach an internal service. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.4. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47683 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.6, the bufferAllocLimit enforcement in lib/setup-sandbox.js does not cover Buffer.concat(list, totalLength) or Buffer.from(arrayLike) with an attacker-controlled length, allowing sandbox code to perform large synchronous host external-memory allocations that bypass the configured cap and can exhaust the host process. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.6. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-75915 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | CodeWhale versions before 0.8.64 contain an environment variable exposure vulnerability in the js_execution tool that fails to scrub parent process environment variables before spawning Node.js. Attackers can craft malicious JavaScript code executed by the tool to read process.env and leak API keys, cloud credentials, and authentication tokens back to the model context. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103043 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | anchorme through 3.0.8 contains a regular expression denial of service vulnerability in the IPv6 host extraction regex due to catastrophic backtracking. Attackers can supply specially crafted input strings with repeated patterns to cause exponential regex engine backtracking, blocking the Node.js event loop and denying service to other requests. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2025-34204 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host | Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host and Application (VA and SaaS deployments) contains multiple Docker containers that run primary application processes (for example PHP workers, Node.js servers and custom binaries) as the root user. This increases the blast radius of a container compromise and enables lateral movement and host compromise when a container is breached. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-101895 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.31, 21.2.23, and 22.1.6, the @angular/platform-server DOM emulation parser can enter an infinite synchronous loop when Angular server-side rendering processes attacker-controlled HTML containing an incomplete DOCTYPE that ends with whitespace at end of input. In Domino lib/HTMLParser.js, after_doctype_name_state emits doctype and EOF tokens without advancing nextchar or leaving the fixed-lookahead state, so the scanner repeatedly handles the same EOF marker. A remote unauthenticated attacker can use this condition through server-side HTML parsing paths such as innerHTML binding to consume a Node.js SSR worker at full CPU, starve the event loop, and stop concurrent and subsequent requests. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.31, 21.2.23, and 22.1.6. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-84994 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Qwik is a performance-focused JavaScript framework. Prior to @builder.io/qwik 1.20.0 and @qwik.dev/core 2.0.0-beta.37, default server-side qwik-json deserialization causes ResourceSerializer.$fill$ to pass resource._resolved to Promise.resolve without first rejecting attacker-controlled thenables. An unauthenticated request can provide a plain object whose then property is a QRL for an unregistered symbol, causing an orphaned asynchronous rejection that terminates Node.js under its default unhandled-rejection policy. A single request can crash a server, and repeated requests can keep replicas unavailable. This issue is fixed in @builder.io/qwik 1.20.0 and @qwik.dev/core 2.0.0-beta.37. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-78208 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | exceljs through 4.4.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the Workbook.addImage() function that fails to validate file paths. Attackers can supply arbitrary file paths to read any file accessible to the Node.js process and embed it in the generated workbook. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49143 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | BrowserStack Runner through 0.9.5 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the /_log HTTP handler that allows unauthenticated network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code by submitting crafted JSON request bodies to the handler, which passes user-supplied data to vm.runInNewContext() combined with eval(). Attackers can escape the Node.js vm sandbox by leveraging a host-context Function reference through util.format to access the host process via this.constructor.constructor, achieving full remote code execution on the underlying system without any authentication. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40501 | 8.6 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Cherry Studio versions 1.2.2 through 1.9.12, fixed in commit 1518530, contain a remote code execution vulnerability in SearchService that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by delivering malicious JavaScript through controlled search provider content loaded into an Electron BrowserWindow configured with nodeIntegration enabled and contextIsolation disabled. Attackers who control a search engine provider, individual search result pages, or provider settings pages can execute JavaScript with full Node.js privileges, gaining access to fs, child_process, os, and process.env under the operating-system account of the Cherry Studio process. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-43998 | 8.5 high | 1.0% | vm2_project, vm2 | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. In 3.10.5, NodeVM's require.root path restriction can be bypassed using filesystem symlinks, allowing sandboxed code to load modules from outside the allowed root directory in host context. Because path validation uses path.resolve() (which does not dereference symlinks) but module loading uses Node's native require() (which does), an attacker can load arbitrary host-realm modules and achieve remote code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110648 | 8.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | @offactory/compress-fonts before 1.1.1 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute shell commands by supplying font files with crafted names. Font paths are interpolated unquoted into a FontForge command run through child_process.execSync, so shell metacharacters in file names execute commands with the Node.js process privileges. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-101896 | 8.2 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.32, 21.2.24, and 22.2.0, the @angular/router URL parser stores numeric matrix parameter names and numeric outlet names as properties on initially empty JavaScript objects during Node.js server-side rendering. V8 can interpret these URL-derived keys as array indices and allocate dense backing stores sized to high numeric values, so repeated small path segments cause disproportionate per-segment heap consumption. An unauthenticated attacker can send overlapping requests containing repeated numeric matrix parameters when SSR is enabled, the router directly parses the request URL, and upstream proxies allow semicolons and multiple path segments, eventually exhausting the Node.js old-space heap and terminating the SSR worker. Pure client-side Angular applications are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.32, 21.2.24, and 22.2.0. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71279 | 8.0 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Zigbee2MQTT's ExternalJSExtension.getFilePath (lib/extension/externalJS.ts) joins a parameter received via an MQTT message (topic zigbee2mqtt/bridge/request/extension/save) into the extensions base path using path.join(basePath, name) with no sanitization. The extension handler only validates that the name ends in .js/.mjs/.cjs, writes the file, and then dynamically imports it via Node.js import, achieving remote code execution. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44724 | 7.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | systeminformation is a System and OS information library for node.js. From 4.17.0 to 5.31.5, on Linux, systeminformation is vulnerable to command injection in networkInterfaces() when an active NetworkManager connection profile name contains shell metacharacters. The vulnerable value is obtained internally from real nmcli device status output. The library sanitizes the network interface name before using it in shell commands, but it does not apply equivalent sanitization to the parsed NetworkManager connection profile name. That unsanitized connectionName is then interpolated into three shell command strings executed through execSync(). This vulnerability is fixed in 5.31.6. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33895 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | digitalbazaar, forge | Forge (also called `node-forge`) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to version 1.4.0, Ed25519 signature verification accepts forged non-canonical signatures where the scalar S is not reduced modulo the group order (`S >= L`). A valid signature and its `S + L` variant both verify in forge, while Node.js `crypto.verify` (OpenSSL-backed) rejects the `S + L` variant, as defined by the specification. This class of signature malleability has been exploited in practice to bypass authentication and authorization logic (see CVE-2026-25793, CVE-2022-35961). Applications relying on signature uniqueness (i.e., dedup by signature bytes, replay tracking, signed-object canonicalization checks) may be bypassed. Version 1.4.0 patches the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33939 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | handlebarsjs, handlebars | Handlebars provides the power necessary to let users build semantic templates. In versions 4.0.0 through 4.7.8, when a Handlebars template contains decorator syntax referencing an unregistered decorator (e.g. `{{*n}}`), the compiled template calls `lookupProperty(decorators, "n")`, which returns `undefined`. The runtime then immediately invokes the result as a function, causing an unhandled `TypeError: ... is not a function` that crashes the Node.js process. Any application that compiles user-supplied templates without wrapping the call in a `try/catch` is vulnerable to a single-request Denial of Service. Version 4.7.9 fixes the issue. Some workarounds are available. Wrap compilation and rendering in `try/catch`. Validate template input before passing it to `compile()`; reject templates containing decorator syntax (`{{*...}}`) if decorators are not used in your application. | CVE-2026-44240 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | basic-ftp is an FTP client for Node.js. Prior to 5.3.1, basic-ftp is vulnerable to client-side denial of service when parsing FTP control-channel multiline responses. A malicious or compromised FTP server can send an unterminated multiline response during the initial FTP banner phase, before authentication. The client keeps appending attacker-controlled data into FtpContext._partialResponse and repeatedly reparses the accumulated buffer without enforcing a maximum control response size. As a result, an application using basic-ftp can remain stuck in connect() while memory and CPU usage grow under attacker-controlled input. This can lead to process-level denial of service, container OOM kills, worker restarts, queue backlog, or service degradation in applications that automatically connect to FTP endpoints. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.3.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
