| CVE-2026-60088 | 6.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | PraisonAI before 4.6.78 fails to validate file path references in custom command templates, allowing attackers to read files outside the workspace. Attackers can include path traversal sequences like @../outside_secret.txt or absolute paths in project command files to exfiltrate process-readable files into model prompts. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61431 | 6.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | PraisonAI before 4.6.78 contains a path traversal vulnerability in ContextGatherer that fails to validate include paths in .praisoncontext and .praisoninclude files. Attackers can supply absolute paths or parent directory traversal sequences to read arbitrary files outside the workspace and include their contents in the generated context bundle. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40148 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | praison, praisonai | PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to 4.5.128, the _safe_extractall() function in PraisonAI's recipe registry validates archive members against path traversal attacks but performs no checks on individual member sizes, cumulative extracted size, or member count before calling tar.extractall(). An attacker can publish a malicious recipe bundle containing highly compressible data (e.g., 10GB of zeros compressing to ~10MB) that exhausts the victim's disk when pulled via LocalRegistry.pull() or HttpRegistry.pull(). This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.128. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47408 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | PraisonAI Platform is the platform layer for the PraisonAI multi-agent teams system. Versions prior to 0.1.4 have an Insecure Direct Object Reference. The `GET /workspaces/{workspace_id}/issues/{issue_id}/activity` endpoint is gated by `require_workspace_member(workspace_id)` and dispatches to `ActivityService.list_for_issue(issue_id)`, which executes `SELECT * FROM activity WHERE issue_id = :issue_id` with no workspace constraint. A user who is a member of any workspace can read the full activity log of any issue across the entire multi-tenant deployment. PraisonAI Platform version 0.1.4 patches the issue. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47411 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | PraisonAI Platform is the platform layer for the PraisonAI multi-agent teams system. Versions prior to 0.1.4 have an authorization bypass enabling workspace metadata + settings tampering. The `PATCH /workspaces/{workspace_id}` endpoint is gated only by `require_workspace_member(workspace_id)` (default `min_role="member"`). Any member can rewrite the workspace's `name`, `description`, and the `settings` JSON blob. The settings field is a free-form JSON object — depending on which downstream code reads it, this becomes a configuration-injection primitive for any setting the platform exposes there. PraisonAI Platform version 0.1.4 patches the issue. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40112 | 6.1 medium | 0.00% | praison, praisonai | PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to 4.5.128, the Flask API endpoint in src/praisonai/api.py renders agent output as HTML without effective sanitization. The _sanitize_html function relies on the nh3 library, which is not listed as a required or optional dependency in pyproject.toml. When nh3 is absent (the default installation), the sanitizer is a no-op that returns HTML unchanged. An attacker who can influence agent input (via RAG data poisoning, web scraping results, or prompt injection) can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of anyone viewing the API output. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.128. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40159 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | praison, praisonai | PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to 4.5.128, PraisonAI’s MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration allows spawning background servers via stdio using user-supplied command strings (e.g., MCP("npx -y @smithery/cli ...")). These commands are executed through Python’s subprocess module. By default, the implementation forwards the entire parent process environment to the spawned subprocess. As a result, any MCP command executed in this manner inherits all environment variables from the host process, including sensitive data such as API keys, authentication tokens, and database credentials. This behavior introduces a security risk when untrusted or third-party commands are used. In common scenarios where MCP tools are invoked via package runners such as npx -y, arbitrary code from external or potentially compromised packages may execute with access to these inherited environment variables. This creates a risk of unintended credential exposure and enables potential supply chain attacks through silent exfiltration of secrets. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.128. | Mon 26 Oct |
