| CVE-2026-85965 | 8.0 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 contain memory-safety defects in the JavaScript engine integration that could result in memory corruption, controlled process failure, or server instability. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98116 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: pcm: Serialize PCM mmap with buffer reallocation to fix page UAF snd_pcm_hw_params() and snd_pcm_hw_free() guard buffer reallocation with an mmap_count check performed under the PCM stream lock, but the lock is released long before the buffer is actually freed: snd_pcm_sync_stop(), constraint refinement and do_free_pages() all happen in between. snd_pcm_mmap_data(), on the other hand, takes no lock at all: it validates against the old buffer's state and dma_bytes, remaps its pages into the VMA, and only then increments mmap_count. A concurrent mmap() can therefore slip in between the check and the free. remap_pfn_range() installs writable PTEs for the old buffer's pages without taking page references, and the subsequent do_free_pages() returns those pages to the page allocator while the VMA still maps them. This leaves a stale, writable mapping of freed pages: a page-level use-after-free that can be leveraged for local privilege escalation. Make snd_pcm_mmap_data() participate in the buffer-access scheme introduced for hw_params/hw_free: acquire runtime->buffer_accessing before validating and remapping, and release it afterwards. Buffer reallocation already fails with -EBUSY while accessors are active, and the mmap side now fails with -EBUSY while a reallocation is in progress, so the validate/remap sequence and the check/free sequence can no longer interleave. A reproducer that turns this race into a stale writable mapping of the freed DMA buffer pages is available on request. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-99012 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: ISO: Serialize concurrent connect calls iso_sock_connect() checks the socket state before taking the socket lock and drops the lock again before setting up a connection. Two callers can both pass the admission check while the socket is open or bound. Caller A can copy its destination for route selection, then caller B can replace the socket destination before A binds or connects the CIS. A then uses B's destination with the route selected for its own request. B can also proceed after A attaches a connection and sets BT_CONNECT. For deferred BIS setup, B can bind a second BIS and overwrite iso_pi(sk)->conn, leaving the first connection's reference and conn->sk back-pointer stranded. Concurrent CIS connects can likewise replace the socket's connection. Later teardown only detaches the current connection, so a callback on the old connection can race with socket release and access a freed socket. KASAN reported: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in iso_sock_hold+0xf7/0x1b0 Call Trace: iso_sock_hold+0xf7/0x1b0 iso_conn_del+0x7b/0x1d0 iso_connect_cfm+0x186/0x16a0 hci_conn_failed+0x154/0x280 hci_abort_conn_sync+0x3dc/0x7d0 hci_cmd_sync_work+0x173/0x300 Allocated by task 121: sk_alloc+0x2b/0x6d0 bt_sock_alloc+0x29/0x370 iso_sock_alloc.constprop.0+0x19/0x300 iso_sock_create+0x94/0x100 Freed by task 121: kfree+0x121/0x3c0 __sk_destruct+0x42b/0x540 iso_sock_release+0x29d/0x340 __sock_release+0xa1/0x260 Check admission under the socket lock and mark the connect operation in progress before publishing its destination. Keep that flag set across route lookup and connection setup, rejecting another connect with -EBADFD before it can change the destination or attach a connection. Clear the flag after either helper returns, including on failure, so a failed setup can be retried. A separate flag is needed because the socket lock must be released before acquiring the HCI device lock, while BT_CONNECT requires an attached connection. Keep the existing state transitions and the deferred CIS completion through iso_sock_recvmsg(). Reject an existing socket attachment in __iso_chan_add() before taking a new reference or publishing either pointer, so every caller preserves the connection association. Keep the same-socket, same-connection success case for deferred CIS setup. Reject an attached socket before BIS setup so a reusable BIS is not claimed before the attachment is rejected. In CIS setup, reject a different HCI connection before iso_conn_add() and drop the per-attempt HCI hold directly. An unowned iso_conn may still carry another reference after detachment, so its destruction cannot be relied on to release that hold. iso_listen_bis() creates a fresh PA HCI/ISO pair under the device lock, so the temporary iso_conn_put() frees the ISO candidate and drops its HCI hold on rejection. iso_conn_ready() uses a freshly allocated, unpublished child with no connection, making the socket-side rejection unreachable. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98487 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: mdb: restart port group walk after deletion br_mdb_flush_pgs() keeps a pointer-to-pointer cursor while walking mp->ports. br_multicast_del_pg() can re-enter the same MDB entry through br_multicast_sg_del_exclude_ports() and unlink other port groups. If the cursor points into one of those groups, the next iteration dereferences a stale cursor and can leave mp->ports pointing at freed memory. A following RTM_GETMDB exposes the dangling pointer: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in br_mdb_dump Read of size 8 br_mdb_dump rtnl_mdb_dump rtnl_dumpit netlink_dump Reset the cursor to mp->ports after every deletion. The deletion removes at least the selected group, so the restarted walk always makes progress. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-39738 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: do not allow relocation of partially dropped subvolumes [BUG] There is an internal report that balance triggered transaction abort, with the following call trace: item 85 key (594509824 169 0) itemoff 12599 itemsize 33 extent refs 1 gen 197740 flags 2 ref#0: tree block backref root 7 item 86 key (594558976 169 0) itemoff 12566 itemsize 33 extent refs 1 gen 197522 flags 2 ref#0: tree block backref root 7 ... [CAUSE] The cause is a little complex, firstly the extent tree indeed doesn't have the backref for 594526208. The extent tree only have the following two backrefs around that bytenr on-disk: item 65 key (594509824 METADATA_ITEM 0) itemoff 13880 itemsize 33 refs 1 gen 197740 flags TREE_BLOCK tree block skinny level 0 (176 0x7) tree block backref root CSUM_TREE item 66 key (594558976 METADATA_ITEM 0) itemoff 13847 itemsize 33 refs 1 gen 197522 flags TREE_BLOCK tree block skinny level 0 (176 0x7) tree block backref root CSUM_TREE But the such missing backref item is not an corruption on disk, as the offending delayed ref belongs to subvolume 934, and that subvolume is being dropped: item 0 key (934 ROOT_ITEM 198229) itemoff 15844 itemsize 439 generation 198229 root_dirid 256 bytenr 10741039104 byte_limit 0 bytes_used 345571328 last_snapshot 198229 flags 0x1000000000001(RDONLY) refs 0 drop_progress key (206324 EXTENT_DATA 2711650304) drop_level 2 level 2 generation_v2 198229 And that offending tree block 594526208 is inside the dropped range of that subvolume. That explains why there is no backref item for that bytenr and why btrfs check is not reporting anything wrong. But this also shows another problem, as btrfs will do all the orphan subvolume cleanup at a read-write mount. So half-dropped subvolume should not exist after an RW mount, and balance itself is also exclusive to subvolume cleanup, meaning we shouldn't hit a subvolume half-dropped during relocation. The root cause is, there is no orphan item for this subvolume. In fact there are 5 subvolumes from around 2021 that have the same problem. It looks like the original report has some older kernels running, and caused those zombie subvolumes. Thankfully upstream commit 8d488a8c7ba2 ("btrfs: fix subvolume/snapshot deletion not triggered on mount") has long fixed the bug. [ENHANCEMENT] For repairing such old fs, btrfs-progs will be enhanced. Considering how delayed the problem will show up (at run delayed ref time) and at that time we have to abort transaction already, it is too late. Instead here we reject any half-dropped subvolume for reloc tree at the earliest time, preventing confusion and extra time wasted on debugging similar bugs. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-39993 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: rc: fix races with imon_disconnect() Syzbot reports a KASAN issue as below: BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in __create_pipe include/linux/usb.h:1945 [inline] BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in send_packet+0xa2d/0xbc0 drivers/media/rc/imon.c:627 Read of size 4 at addr ffff8880256fb000 by task syz-executor314/4465 CPU: 2 PID: 4465 Comm: syz-executor314 Not tainted 6.0.0-rc1-syzkaller #0 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS 1.14.0-2 04/01/2014 Call Trace: <TASK> __dump_stack lib/dump_stack.c:88 [inline] dump_stack_lvl+0xcd/0x134 lib/dump_stack.c:106 print_address_description mm/kasan/report.c:317 [inline] print_report.cold+0x2ba/0x6e9 mm/kasan/report.c:433 kasan_report+0xb1/0x1e0 mm/kasan/report.c:495 __create_pipe include/linux/usb.h:1945 [inline] send_packet+0xa2d/0xbc0 drivers/media/rc/imon.c:627 vfd_write+0x2d9/0x550 drivers/media/rc/imon.c:991 vfs_write+0x2d7/0xdd0 fs/read_write.c:576 ksys_write+0x127/0x250 fs/read_write.c:631 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/common.c:50 [inline] do_syscall_64+0x35/0xb0 arch/x86/entry/common.c:80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x63/0xcd The iMON driver improperly releases the usb_device reference in imon_disconnect without coordinating with active users of the device. Specifically, the fields usbdev_intf0 and usbdev_intf1 are not protected by the users counter (ictx->users). During probe, imon_init_intf0 or imon_init_intf1 increments the usb_device reference count depending on the interface. However, during disconnect, usb_put_dev is called unconditionally, regardless of actual usage. As a result, if vfd_write or other operations are still in progress after disconnect, this can lead to a use-after-free of the usb_device pointer. Thread 1 vfd_write Thread 2 imon_disconnect ... if usb_put_dev(ictx->usbdev_intf0) else usb_put_dev(ictx->usbdev_intf1) ... while send_packet if pipe = usb_sndintpipe( ictx->usbdev_intf0) UAF else pipe = usb_sndctrlpipe( ictx->usbdev_intf0, 0) UAF Guard access to usbdev_intf0 and usbdev_intf1 after disconnect by checking ictx->disconnected in all writer paths. Add early return with -ENODEV in send_packet(), vfd_write(), lcd_write() and display_open() if the device is no longer present. Set and read ictx->disconnected under ictx->lock to ensure memory synchronization. Acquire the lock in imon_disconnect() before setting the flag to synchronize with any ongoing operations. Ensure writers exit early and safely after disconnect before the USB core proceeds with cleanup. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-40047 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/waitid: always prune wait queue entry in io_waitid_wait() For a successful return, always remove our entry from the wait queue entry list. Previously this was skipped if a cancelation was in progress, but this can race with another invocation of the wait queue entry callback. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-52935 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: espintcp: do not reuse an in-progress partial send espintcp keeps a single in-flight transmit in ctx->partial. Before building a new sk_msg, espintcp_sendmsg() first tries to flush that state through espintcp_push_msgs(). For blocking callers, espintcp_push_msgs() may return success even when the previous partial send is still pending. espintcp_sendmsg() would then reinitialize emsg->skmsg and reuse ctx->partial while the old transfer still owns that state. Do not rebuild the send message when ctx->partial is still in progress. If espintcp_push_msgs() returns with emsg->len still set, fail the new send instead of overwriting the live partial state. This is a memory-safety fix: reusing the live partial-send state can leave a stale offset attached to a new sk_msg and lead to an out-of- bounds read in the send path. tcp_sendmsg_locked() already handles waiting for send buffer memory, so the fix here is just to preserve espintcp's one-message-at-a-time transmit state. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46311 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/userq: fix access to stale wptr mapping Use drm_exec to take both locks i.e vm root bo and wptr_obj bo to access the mapping data properly. This fixes the security issue of unmap the wptr_obj while a queue creation is in progress and passing other bo at same address. | CVE-2026-31548 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: cancel pmsr_free_wk in cfg80211_pmsr_wdev_down When the nl80211 socket that originated a PMSR request is closed, cfg80211_release_pmsr() sets the request's nl_portid to zero and schedules pmsr_free_wk to process the abort asynchronously. If the interface is concurrently torn down before that work runs, cfg80211_pmsr_wdev_down() calls cfg80211_pmsr_process_abort() directly. However, the already- scheduled pmsr_free_wk work item remains pending and may run after the interface has been removed from the driver. This could cause the driver's abort_pmsr callback to operate on a torn-down interface, leading to undefined behavior and potential crashes. Cancel pmsr_free_wk synchronously in cfg80211_pmsr_wdev_down() before calling cfg80211_pmsr_process_abort(). This ensures any pending or in-progress work is drained before interface teardown proceeds, preventing the work from invoking the driver abort callback after the interface is gone. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-23351 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: split gc into unlink and reclaim phase Yiming Qian reports Use-after-free in the pipapo set type: Under a large number of expired elements, commit-time GC can run for a very long time in a non-preemptible context, triggering soft lockup warnings and RCU stall reports (local denial of service). We must split GC in an unlink and a reclaim phase. We cannot queue elements for freeing until pointers have been swapped. Expired elements are still exposed to both the packet path and userspace dumpers via the live copy of the data structure. call_rcu() does not protect us: dump operations or element lookups starting after call_rcu has fired can still observe the free'd element, unless the commit phase has made enough progress to swap the clone and live pointers before any new reader has picked up the old version. This a similar approach as done recently for the rbtree backend in commit 35f83a75529a ("netfilter: nft_set_rbtree: don't gc elements on insert"). | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98258 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-cpu-timers: Prevent freeing a timer which is queued on the expiry list Kijo analyzed another race in the POSIX CPU timer code: Commit bf635681c906 converted cpu_timer::firing from a tristate value to a boolean. This lost the distinction between "not owned by the firing list" and "still owned, but delivery was canceled". The resulting race is: expiry handler timer_settime() timer_delete() -------------- --------------- -------------- collect timer onto private firing list firing = true observes firing = true firing = false return TIMER_RETRY wait for handler observes firing = false finish deletion unhash and free timer resume list traversal read freed elist.next -> UAF The firing bit is clearly the wrong indicator since that commit. Check whether the timer is queued on the expiry list or not instead. If it is queued clear the firing bit to prevent signal delivery as before and return TIMER_RETRY so the caller unlocks the timer which allows the expiry code to make progress and remove it from the list. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-90003 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: futex: Prevent rcuwait use-after-free during requeue PI On PREEMPT_RT, FUTEX_CMP_REQUEUE_PI can trigger a KASAN report (slab-out-of-bounds) in futex_requeue_pi_complete() invocation of rcuwait_wake_up(). The futex_q used by futex_wait_requeue_pi() is allocated on the waiter's stack. An early wakeup can race with a PI requeue as follows: waiter requeue task ------ ------------ futex_wait_requeue_pi() futex_do_wait() schedule() futex_requeue futex_proxy_trylock_atomic() futex_requeue_pi_prepare() Q_REQUEUE_PI_NONE -> Q_REQUEUE_PI_IN_PROGRESS * timeout/ signal wakes waiter * futex_requeue_pi_wakeup_sync() Q_REQUEUE_PI_IN_PROGRESS -> Q_REQUEUE_PI_WAIT requeue_pi_wake_futex futex_requeue_pi_complete() cmpxchg Q_REQUEUE_PI_WAIT -> Q_REQUEUE_PI_LOCKED rcuwait_wait_event() if (atomic_read(&q->requeue_state) != Q_REQUEUE_PI_WAIT) break /* no schedule() */ /* q.pi_state->owner == current */ futex_private_hash_put() /* return from syscall */ rcuwait_wake_up(&q->requeue_wait) /* q is gone */ futex_requeue_pi_complete() publishes Q_REQUEUE_PI_LOCKED before calling rcuwait_wake_up(). The waiter observes this state in rcuwait_wait_event() before invoking schedule() in rcuwait_wait_event(). Here, the waiter is free leave the syscall before requeue task can complete the wake. To address this race skip rcuwait_wake_up() in the Q_REQUEUE_PI_LOCKED case. This state is only published by requeue_pi_wake_futex(), which saves q->task before futex_requeue_pi_complete() and wakes the waiter via wake_up_state(). This wake is intended to wake the waiter from its futex_do_wait() sleep. If the waiter is still sleeping there, it can not get into the Q_REQUEUE_PI_WAIT state (and require this removed wake). Should the waiter be woken up from futex_do_wait() by other means (as in this example) and sleep in futex_requeue_pi_wakeup_sync() then the wake_up_state() from requeue_pi_wake_futex() will wake it, too. Should the waiter task terminate before wake_up_state() had a chance to wake the task then the task pointer does not become invalid because the futex_hash_bucket::lock is held and the task pointer is RCU protected. | CVE-2026-80572 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: byd - synchronize timer deletion before freeing private data byd_disconnect() uses timer_delete() before freeing the driver's private data. This does not wait for a running byd_clear_touch() callback, which dereferences the private data and its psmouse pointer. A callback racing with disconnect can therefore access the private data after it has been freed. The timer can also still be re-armed by byd_process_byte() while the disconnect is in progress. Use timer_shutdown_sync() before freeing the private data: it waits for a running callback and turns any later re-arm attempt into a no-op. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-74601 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Use current_context for safe per-CPU buffer swap The ring_buffer_swap_cpu() function currently checks the per-CPU committing counter to determine if a buffer is actively being written to before performing the swap. However, there exists a race window where this check can be bypassed: ring_buffer_lock_reserve cpu_buffer = buffer->buffers[cpu]; // cpu_buffer_a rb_reserve_next_event rb_start_commit // inc committing if (unlikely(READ_ONCE(cpu_buffer->buffer) != buffer)) {...} __rb_reserve_next rb_move_tail rb_end_commit(cpu_buffer); // dec committing => 0 /* interrupt hits here, successfully swaps! */ local_inc(&cpu_buffer->committing); ring_buffer_unlock_commit cpu_buffer = buffer->buffers[cpu]; // cpu_buffer_b rb_commit rb_end_commit RB_WARN_ON(cpu_buffer, !local_read(&cpu_buffer->committing)) // triggers warning The committing counter can temporarily drop to 0 during a single write operation (within rb_move_tail), creating a window where swap can succeed even though the write is still in progress. This leads to inconsistent buffer state and triggers the RB_WARN_ON in rb_commit(). Replace the committing counter check with current_context checks, which are set at the entry of ring_buffer_lock_reserve() and remain valid throughout the entire write operation, providing a reliable indicator of buffer busy state during swap. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-74503 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: timer: Clear SNDRV_TIMER_IFLG_DEAD once the close completes snd_timer_close_locked() marks an instance with SNDRV_TIMER_IFLG_DEAD and returns early when the flag is already set, but the flag is never cleared again. A completed close ends in remove_slave_links(), which leaves timeri->timer NULL, so a second close is already harmless through the timer == NULL path; the early return can only be reached by an instance that was opened again in between. For such an instance the close unlinks nothing, so snd_timer_instance_free() frees an object that is still on timer->open_list_head, still on snd_timer_master_list if it was opened with a slave key, still owns any adopted slaves, and still holds its timer and module references. snd_seq_timer_open() reopens an instance exactly like that: it retries its fallback open on the same object after a failure that has already run snd_timer_close_locked() internally. An unprivileged user with access to /dev/snd/timer and /dev/snd/seq can force that failure, since snd_timer_check_master() returns -EBUSY when a pending slave matches the new master's (slave_class, slave_id) key and the target timer has reached max_instances, and SNDRV_TIMER_IOCTL_SELECT with dev_class = SNDRV_TIMER_CLASS_SLAVE keeps the caller-supplied dev_sclass, so a sequencer queue's key can be forged. The freed instance is afterwards dereferenced by any further snd_timer_open() on that timer, by snd_timer_check_slave(), and by /proc/asound/timers, which faults on the stale ti->owner pointer. The flag only has to be visible while the close is in progress, which is all its other users need. Clear it in remove_slave_links(), under the same timer->lock that sets it, once the instance is off every list. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-108094 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A use-after-free flaw was found in mutter in the Wayland color-management ICC image-description path. A local attacker who can run a malicious Wayland client can destroy a wp_image_description_v1 resource while an asynchronous ICC file read is still in progress. This can crash the GNOME session and may allow arbitrary code execution within the compositor process. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-23372 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: rawsock: cancel tx_work before socket teardown In rawsock_release(), cancel any pending tx_work and purge the write queue before orphaning the socket. rawsock_tx_work runs on the system workqueue and calls nfc_data_exchange which dereferences the NCI device. Without synchronization, tx_work can race with socket and device teardown when a process is killed (e.g. by SIGKILL), leading to use-after-free or leaked references. Set SEND_SHUTDOWN first so that if tx_work is already running it will see the flag and skip transmitting, then use cancel_work_sync to wait for any in-progress execution to finish, and finally purge any remaining queued skbs. | 15 Oct |

| CVE-2026-73568 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | py-libp2p is the Python implementation of the libp2p networking stack. In 0.7.0 and earlier, the yamux handle_incoming() method in libp2p/stream_muxer/yamux/yamux.py reads an attacker-controlled 32-bit DATA frame length with read_exactly() before validating it against MAX_WINDOW_SIZE or checking whether stream_id exists. A peer that completes the standard Noise handshake can send a 12-byte frame declaring a 0xFFFFFFFF body and then withhold the body, causing the sequential yamux read loop used by the default new_host() configuration to block and preventing every stream on that connection from making progress. No fixed version is available as of this review. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-13189 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | progress, telerik_ui_for_asp.net_ajax | In Progress® Telerik® UI for AJAX prior to v2026.2.708, insufficient validation of the language parameter in the spell check handler may allow an attacker to influence server-side file path resolution and trigger unintended server-side requests. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98173 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix use-after-free of iface in cifs_try_adding_channels() cifs_try_adding_channels() iterates ses->iface_list with list_for_each_entry_safe_from(), which captures the next entry (niface) under iface_lock. The loop body then drops iface_lock for the whole duration of cifs_ses_add_channel(). A concurrent interface refresh (SMB3_request_interfaces() -> parse_server_interfaces()) marks all ifaces inactive and removes and frees any that are not re-advertised via list_del() + kref_put(), where release_iface() is a bare kfree(). Since niface typically has no channel holding a reference, the list reference is its last and it can be freed inside the unlocked window. On continue, the iterator advance step then dereferences niface->iface_head.next, and the loop body reads iface->rdma_capable/is_active, both on freed memory. Fix this by never keeping an unreferenced list pointer across the unlocked window. Each channel attempt now re-scans the list from the head under iface_lock, takes a kref on the selected candidate, and passes only that referenced candidate to cifs_ses_add_channel(). weight_fulfilled still tracks selection progress, so restarting the scan preserves the original weighted distribution and the weight_fulfilled-before-kref_put ordering on the failure path. Add a per-pass attempts cap so a flapping interface refresh cannot keep the inner loop spinning within a single tries increment. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-108116 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | progress, kendo_ui | In Progress Kendo UI for jQuery prior to v2026.3.1015, specially crafted filter values in the PivotGrid XMLA transport could alter MDX predicates or inject XML markup into SOAP requests, potentially exposing data accessible through the configured XMLA connection. | 20 Oct |

| CVE-2026-109832 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A flaw was found in gnome-remote-desktop as shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. In the VNC TLS I/O handlers, retryable GnuTLS results (GNUTLS_E_AGAIN and GNUTLS_E_INTERRUPTED) are handled with an unbounded busy loop instead of yielding to the event loop. A remote attacker who can reach an enabled VNC TLS listener can cause the event-loop thread to spin at high CPU with no forward progress, resulting in denial of service. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103670 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | gitea | When a Gitea Actions run was inserted, older runs in the same workflow-level concurrency group were cancelled without checking whether the new run still needed approval. Because fork pull request runs are inserted under the base repository, a user who can open a pull request from a fork could cancel trusted in-progress runs that share a concurrency group with `cancel-in-progress` enabled, without approval and without running any code. On self-hosted runners this can interrupt deployments and leave partial state behind. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-85960 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 use predictable CSRF tokens in Query Console. A remote attacker who lures an authenticated Query Console user to a malicious page could submit unauthorized requests and execute server-side code with the victim's permissions. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-74356 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vhost: fix vhost_get_avail_idx for a non empty ring vhost_get_avail_idx is supposed to report whether it has updated vq->avail_idx. Instead, it returns whether all entries have been consumed, which is usually the same. But not always - in drivers/vhost/net.c and when mergeable buffers have been enabled, the driver checks whether the combined entries are big enough to store an incoming packet. If not, the driver re-enables notifications with available entries still in the ring. The incorrect return value from vhost_get_avail_idx propagates through vhost_enable_notify and causes the host to livelock if the guest is not making progress, as vhost will immediately disable notifications and retry using the available entries. This goes back to commit d3bb267bbdcb ("vhost: cache avail index in vhost_enable_notify()") which changed vhost_enable_notify() to compare the freshly read avail index against vq->last_avail_idx instead of the previously cached vq->avail_idx. Commit 7ad472397667 ("vhost: move smp_rmb() into vhost_get_avail_idx()") then carried over the same comparison when refactoring vhost_enable_notify() to call the unified vhost_get_avail_idx(). The obvious fix is to make vhost_get_avail_idx do what the comment says it does and report whether new entries have been added. | 21 Oct |
