| CVE | CVSS | EPSS | Vendor, product | Description | Modified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2016-5388 | 8.1 high | 51.0% | redhat, hp, enterprise_linux_desktop, enterprise_linux_hpc_node, enterprise_linux_hpc_node_eus | Apache Tomcat 7.x through 7.0.70 and 8.x through 8.5.4, when the CGI Servlet is enabled, follows RFC 3875 section 4.1.18 and therefore does not protect applications from the presence of untrusted client data in the HTTP_PROXY environment variable, which might allow remote attackers to redirect an application's outbound HTTP traffic to an arbitrary proxy server via a crafted Proxy header in an HTTP request, aka an "httpoxy" issue. NOTE: the vendor states "A mitigation is planned for future releases of Tomcat, tracked as CVE-2016-5388"; in other words, this is not a CVE ID for a vulnerability. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2019-10086 | 7.3 high | 29.0% | apache, debian, commons_beanutils, nifi, debian_linux | In Apache Commons Beanutils 1.9.2, a special BeanIntrospector class was added which allows suppressing the ability for an attacker to access the classloader via the class property available on all Java objects. We, however were not using this by default characteristic of the PropertyUtilsBean. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2016-1182 | 8.2 high | 26.0% | apache, struts | ActionServlet.java in Apache Struts 1 1.x through 1.3.10 does not properly restrict the Validator configuration, which allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks or cause a denial of service via crafted input, a related issue to CVE-2015-0899. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2025-61734 | 7.5 high | 26.0% | apache, kylin | Files or Directories Accessible to External Parties vulnerability in Apache Kylin. You are fine as long as the Kylin's system and project admin access is well protected. This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 4.0.0 through 5.0.2. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.3, which fixes the issue. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2025-57738 | 7.2 high | 23.0% | apache, syncope | Apache Syncope offers the ability to extend / customize the base behavior on every deployment by allowing to provide custom implementations of a few Java interfaces; such implementations can be provided either as Java or Groovy classes, with the latter being particularly attractive as the machinery is set for runtime reload. Such a feature has been available for a while, but recently it was discovered that a malicious administrator can inject Groovy code that can be executed remotely by a running Apache Syncope Core instance. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.0.14 / 4.0.2, which fix this issue by forcing the Groovy code to run in a sandbox. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-24122 | 5.9 medium | 23.0% | apache, debian, tomcat, debian_linux, agile_product_lifecycle_management | When serving resources from a network location using the NTFS file system, Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M9, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.39, 8.5.0 to 8.5.59 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.106 were susceptible to JSP source code disclosure in some configurations. The root cause was the unexpected behaviour of the JRE API File.getCanonicalPath() which in turn was caused by the inconsistent behaviour of the Windows API (FindFirstFileW) in some circumstances. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2018-8014 | 9.8 critical | 21.0% | apache, canonical, tomcat, ubuntu_linux, debian_linux | The defaults settings for the CORS filter provided in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.8, 8.5.0 to 8.5.31, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.52, 7.0.41 to 7.0.88 are insecure and enable 'supportsCredentials' for all origins. It is expected that users of the CORS filter will have configured it appropriately for their environment rather than using it in the default configuration. Therefore, it is expected that most users will not be impacted by this issue. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45434 | 9.8 critical | 21.0% | apache, ofbiz | Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache OFBiz via Password-Change Logic Flaw Leading to Remote Code Execution This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 24.09.06. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.06, which fixes the issue. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2014-0227 | 6.4 medium | 21.0% | apache, tomcat | java/org/apache/coyote/http11/filters/ChunkedInputFilter.java in Apache Tomcat 6.x before 6.0.42, 7.x before 7.0.55, and 8.x before 8.0.9 does not properly handle attempts to continue reading data after an error has occurred, which allows remote attackers to conduct HTTP request smuggling attacks or cause a denial of service (resource consumption) by streaming data with malformed chunked transfer coding. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2014-0230 | 7.8 high | 20.0% | apache, oracle, tomcat, virtualization | Apache Tomcat 6.x before 6.0.44, 7.x before 7.0.55, and 8.x before 8.0.9 does not properly handle cases where an HTTP response occurs before finishing the reading of an entire request body, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (thread consumption) via a series of aborted upload attempts. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-21295 | 5.9 medium | 19.0% | netty, netapp, oncommand_api_services, oncommand_workflow_automation | Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. In Netty (io.netty:netty-codec-http2) before version 4.1.60.Final there is a vulnerability that enables request smuggling. If a Content-Length header is present in the original HTTP/2 request, the field is not validated by `Http2MultiplexHandler` as it is propagated up. This is fine as long as the request is not proxied through as HTTP/1.1. If the request comes in as an HTTP/2 stream, gets converted into the HTTP/1.1 domain objects (`HttpRequest`, `HttpContent`, etc.) via `Http2StreamFrameToHttpObjectCodec `and then sent up to the child channel's pipeline and proxied through a remote peer as HTTP/1.1 this may result in request smuggling. In a proxy case, users may assume the content-length is validated somehow, which is not the case. If the request is forwarded to a backend channel that is a HTTP/1.1 connection, the Content-Length now has meaning and needs to be checked. An attacker can smuggle requests inside the body as it gets downgraded from HTTP/2 to HTTP/1.1. For an example attack refer to the linked GitHub Advisory. Users are only affected if all of this is true: `HTTP2MultiplexCodec` or `Http2FrameCodec` is used, `Http2StreamFrameToHttpObjectCodec` is used to convert to HTTP/1.1 objects, and these HTTP/1.1 objects are forwarded to another remote peer. This has been patched in 4.1.60.Final As a workaround, the user can do the validation by themselves by implementing a custom `ChannelInboundHandler` that is put in the `ChannelPipeline` behind `Http2StreamFrameToHttpObjectCodec`. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-25122 | 7.5 high | 18.0% | apache, debian, tomcat, debian_linux, agile_product_lifecycle_management | When responding to new h2c connection requests, Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.41 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.61 could duplicate request headers and a limited amount of request body from one request to another meaning user A and user B could both see the results of user A's request. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2020-25649 | 7.5 high | 18.0% | fasterxml, netapp, jackson-databind, oncommand_api_services, oncommand_workflow_automation | A flaw was found in FasterXML Jackson Databind, where it did not have entity expansion secured properly. This flaw allows vulnerability to XML external entity (XXE) attacks. The highest threat from this vulnerability is data integrity. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2015-5345 | 5.3 medium | 18.0% | debian, apache, debian_linux, tomcat, ubuntu_linux | The Mapper component in Apache Tomcat 6.x before 6.0.45, 7.x before 7.0.68, 8.x before 8.0.30, and 9.x before 9.0.0.M2 processes redirects before considering security constraints and Filters, which allows remote attackers to determine the existence of a directory via a URL that lacks a trailing / (slash) character. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2017-5664 | 7.5 high | 17.0% | apache, tomcat | The error page mechanism of the Java Servlet Specification requires that, when an error occurs and an error page is configured for the error that occurred, the original request and response are forwarded to the error page. This means that the request is presented to the error page with the original HTTP method. If the error page is a static file, expected behaviour is to serve content of the file as if processing a GET request, regardless of the actual HTTP method. The Default Servlet in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M20, 8.5.0 to 8.5.14, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.43 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.77 did not do this. Depending on the original request this could lead to unexpected and undesirable results for static error pages including, if the DefaultServlet is configured to permit writes, the replacement or removal of the custom error page. Notes for other user provided error pages: (1) Unless explicitly coded otherwise, JSPs ignore the HTTP method. JSPs used as error pages must must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method. (2) By default, the response generated by a Servlet does depend on the HTTP method. Custom Servlets used as error pages must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2013-4286 | 5.8 medium | 16.0% | apache, tomcat | Apache Tomcat before 6.0.39, 7.x before 7.0.47, and 8.x before 8.0.0-RC3, when an HTTP connector or AJP connector is used, does not properly handle certain inconsistent HTTP request headers, which allows remote attackers to trigger incorrect identification of a request's length and conduct request-smuggling attacks via (1) multiple Content-Length headers or (2) a Content-Length header and a "Transfer-Encoding: chunked" header. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2005-2090. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2019-20445 | 9.1 critical | 14.0% | netty, debian, debian_linux, fedora | HttpObjectDecoder.java in Netty before 4.1.44 allows a Content-Length header to be accompanied by a second Content-Length header, or by a Transfer-Encoding header. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-43825 | 7.3 high | 14.0% | apache, opennlp | Untrusted Java Deserialization in Apache OpenNLP SvmDoccatModel Versions Affected: before 3.0.0-M4 (libsvm document categorization module; introduced in OPENNLP-1808 and only present on the 3.x line) Description: SvmDoccatModel.deserialize(InputStream) reads an attacker-controlled stream with java.io.ObjectInputStream and calls readObject() without an ObjectInputFilter installed. ObjectInputStream materialises every class referenced in the stream before the resulting object is cast to SvmDoccatModel, so the cast that follows readObject() executes only after the foreign object graph has already been deserialised in full. If a Java deserialization gadget chain is available on the consumer's classpath, a crafted payload supplied to deserialize() executes arbitrary code in the JVM that loads it. Apache OpenNLP itself does not ship a known gadget chain, so the realistic risk is to downstream applications that embed the libsvm module alongside vulnerable transitive dependencies. The method is public and static, so any caller can pass an untrusted stream to it directly. The practical impact is remote code execution against processes that load SvmDoccatModel instances from untrusted or semi-trusted origins. Mitigation: 3.x users should upgrade to 3.0.0-M4. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should treat all serialized SvmDoccatModel streams as untrusted input unless their provenance is verified, and should avoid invoking SvmDoccatModel.deserialize() on streams supplied by end users or fetched from third-party sources without integrity checks. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2013-4444 | 6.8 medium | 14.0% | apache, tomcat | Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in Apache Tomcat 7.x before 7.0.40, in certain situations involving outdated java.io.File code and a custom JMX configuration, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by uploading and accessing a JSP file. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2017-5648 | 9.1 critical | 13.0% | apache, tomcat | While investigating bug 60718, it was noticed that some calls to application listeners in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M17, 8.5.0 to 8.5.11, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.41, and 7.0.0 to 7.0.75 did not use the appropriate facade object. When running an untrusted application under a SecurityManager, it was therefore possible for that untrusted application to retain a reference to the request or response object and thereby access and/or modify information associated with another web application. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2020-11987 | 8.2 high | 13.0% | apache, fedoraproject, batik, fedora, agile_engineering_data_management | Apache Batik 1.13 is vulnerable to server-side request forgery, caused by improper input validation by the NodePickerPanel. By using a specially-crafted argument, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the underlying server to make arbitrary GET requests. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2016-1181 | 8.1 high | 13.0% | oracle, apache, banking_platform, portal, struts | ActionServlet.java in Apache Struts 1 1.x through 1.3.10 mishandles multithreaded access to an ActionForm instance, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (unexpected memory access) via a multipart request, a related issue to CVE-2015-0899. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2021-36090 | 7.5 high | 13.0% | apache, oracle, commons_compress, banking_apis, banking_digital_experience | When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' zip package. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2014-7810 | 5.0 medium | 13.0% | debian, apache, debian_linux, tomcat | The Expression Language (EL) implementation in Apache Tomcat 6.x before 6.0.44, 7.x before 7.0.58, and 8.x before 8.0.16 does not properly consider the possibility of an accessible interface implemented by an inaccessible class, which allows attackers to bypass a SecurityManager protection mechanism via a web application that leverages use of incorrect privileges during EL evaluation. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2015-5174 | 4.3 medium | 13.0% | debian, apache, debian_linux, tomcat, ubuntu_linux | Directory traversal vulnerability in RequestUtil.java in Apache Tomcat 6.x before 6.0.45, 7.x before 7.0.65, and 8.x before 8.0.27 allows remote authenticated users to bypass intended SecurityManager restrictions and list a parent directory via a /.. (slash dot dot) in a pathname used by a web application in a getResource, getResourceAsStream, or getResourcePaths call, as demonstrated by the $CATALINA_BASE/webapps directory. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2015-0254 | 7.5 high | 12.0% | apache, canonical, standard_taglibs, ubuntu_linux | Apache Standard Taglibs before 1.2.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or conduct external XML entity (XXE) attacks via a crafted XSLT extension in a (1) <x:parse> or (2) <x:transform> JSTL XML tag. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-36230 | 7.5 high | 12.0% | openldap, debian, debian_linux, mac_os_x | A flaw was discovered in OpenLDAP before 2.4.57 leading in an assertion failure in slapd in the X.509 DN parsing in decode.c ber_next_element, resulting in denial of service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-23437 | 6.5 medium | 12.0% | apache, oracle, xerces-j, agile_engineering_data_management, agile_product_lifecycle_management | There's a vulnerability within the Apache Xerces Java (XercesJ) XML parser when handling specially crafted XML document payloads. This causes, the XercesJ XML parser to wait in an infinite loop, which may sometimes consume system resources for prolonged duration. This vulnerability is present within XercesJ version 2.12.1 and the previous versions. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-64408 | 6.3 medium | 12.0% | apache, causeway | Apache Causeway faces Java deserialization vulnerabilities that allow remote code execution (RCE) through user-controllable URL parameters. These vulnerabilities affect all applications using Causeway's ViewModel functionality and can be exploited by authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code with application privileges. This issue affects all current versions. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.5.0, which fixes the issue. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2012-5887 | 5.0 medium | 12.0% | apache, tomcat | The HTTP Digest Access Authentication implementation in Apache Tomcat 5.5.x before 5.5.36, 6.x before 6.0.36, and 7.x before 7.0.30 does not properly check for stale nonce values in conjunction with enforcement of proper credentials, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions by sniffing the network for valid requests. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2015-5346 | 8.1 high | 11.0% | apache, canonical, tomcat, ubuntu_linux, debian_linux | Session fixation vulnerability in Apache Tomcat 7.x before 7.0.66, 8.x before 8.0.30, and 9.x before 9.0.0.M2, when different session settings are used for deployments of multiple versions of the same web application, might allow remote attackers to hijack web sessions by leveraging use of a requestedSessionSSL field for an unintended request, related to CoyoteAdapter.java and Request.java. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2019-19603 | 7.5 high | 11.0% | sqlite, oracle, mysql_workbench, sinec_infrastructure_network_services | SQLite 3.30.1 mishandles certain SELECT statements with a nonexistent VIEW, leading to an application crash. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-35517 | 7.5 high | 11.0% | apache, netapp, commons_compress, active_iq_unified_manager, oncommand_insight | When reading a specially crafted TAR archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' tar package. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2019-17563 | 7.5 high | 11.0% | apache, debian, tomcat, debian_linux, leap | When using FORM authentication with Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.29, 8.5.0 to 8.5.49 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.98 there was a narrow window where an attacker could perform a session fixation attack. The window was considered too narrow for an exploit to be practical but, erring on the side of caution, this issue has been treated as a security vulnerability. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2016-0763 | 6.3 medium | 11.0% | debian, apache, debian_linux, tomcat, ubuntu_linux | The setGlobalContext method in org/apache/naming/factory/ResourceLinkFactory.java in Apache Tomcat 7.x before 7.0.68, 8.x before 8.0.31, and 9.x before 9.0.0.M3 does not consider whether ResourceLinkFactory.setGlobalContext callers are authorized, which allows remote authenticated users to bypass intended SecurityManager restrictions and read or write to arbitrary application data, or cause a denial of service (application disruption), via a web application that sets a crafted global context. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2019-19924 | 5.3 medium | 11.0% | sqlite, siemens, sinec_infrastructure_network_services, bookkeeper | SQLite 3.30.1 mishandles certain parser-tree rewriting, related to expr.c, vdbeaux.c, and window.c. This is caused by incorrect sqlite3WindowRewrite() error handling. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2012-3544 | 5.0 medium | 11.0% | apache, tomcat | Apache Tomcat 6.x before 6.0.37 and 7.x before 7.0.30 does not properly handle chunk extensions in chunked transfer coding, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by streaming data. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2025-55754 | 9.6 critical | 10.0% | apache, tomcat | Improper Neutralization of Escape, Meta, or Control Sequences vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. Tomcat did not escape ANSI escape sequences in log messages. If Tomcat was running in a console on a Windows operating system, and the console supported ANSI escape sequences, it was possible for an attacker to use a specially crafted URL to inject ANSI escape sequences to manipulate the console and the clipboard and attempt to trick an administrator into running an attacker controlled command. While no attack vector was found, it may have been possible to mount this attack on other operating systems. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.10, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.44, from 9.0.40 through 9.0.108. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.60 though 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.11 or later, 10.1.45 or later or 9.0.109 or later, which fix the issue. | 8 Oct |

Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.19, 10.1.53 and 9.0.116, which fixes the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2021-25329 | 7.0 high | 9.0% | apache, debian, tomcat, debian_linux, agile_product_lifecycle_management | The fix for CVE-2020-9484 was incomplete. When using Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.41, 8.5.0 to 8.5.61 or 7.0.0. to 7.0.107 with a configuration edge case that was highly unlikely to be used, the Tomcat instance was still vulnerable to CVE-2020-9494. Note that both the previously published prerequisites for CVE-2020-9484 and the previously published mitigations for CVE-2020-9484 also apply to this issue. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2020-13956 | 5.3 medium | 9.0% | apache, quarkus, httpclient, data_integrator | Apache HttpClient versions prior to version 4.5.13 and 5.0.3 can misinterpret malformed authority component in request URIs passed to the library as java.net.URI object and pick the wrong target host for request execution. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2012-5886 | 5.0 medium | 9.0% | apache, tomcat | The HTTP Digest Access Authentication implementation in Apache Tomcat 5.5.x before 5.5.36, 6.x before 6.0.36, and 7.x before 7.0.30 caches information about the authenticated user within the session state, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass authentication via vectors related to the session ID. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2012-5885 | 5.0 medium | 9.0% | apache, tomcat | The replay-countermeasure functionality in the HTTP Digest Access Authentication implementation in Apache Tomcat 5.5.x before 5.5.36, 6.x before 6.0.36, and 7.x before 7.0.30 tracks cnonce (aka client nonce) values instead of nonce (aka server nonce) and nc (aka nonce-count) values, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions by sniffing the network for valid requests, a different vulnerability than CVE-2011-1184. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2020-1935 | 4.8 medium | 9.0% | apache, debian, tomcat, debian_linux, ubuntu_linux | In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99 the HTTP header parsing code used an approach to end-of-line parsing that allowed some invalid HTTP headers to be parsed as valid. This led to a possibility of HTTP Request Smuggling if Tomcat was located behind a reverse proxy that incorrectly handled the invalid Transfer-Encoding header in a particular manner. Such a reverse proxy is considered unlikely. | 8 Oct |
