CVE-2024-52616 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet A flaw was found in the Avahi-daemon, where it initializes DNS transaction IDs randomly only once at startup, incrementing them sequentially after that. This predictable behavior facilitates DNS spoofing attacks, allowing attackers to guess transaction IDs. 20 h ago
CVE-2024-52615 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet A flaw was found in Avahi-daemon, which relies on fixed source ports for wide-area DNS queries. This issue simplifies attacks where malicious DNS responses are injected. 20 h ago
CVE-2026-67189 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet pfSense Plus before 26.07 and pfSense CE through 2.8.1 contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Traffic Graphs top-talkers feature, where PTR records returned by reverse DNS lookups are incorporated without sanitization into AJAX responses and rendered as HTML through a DOM sink in the administrator interface. An attacker who controls a PTR record and generates sufficient traffic to appear as a top talker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in an administrator's browser, gaining access to the authenticated session context and same-origin access to the firewall management interface, enabling account creation and arbitrary OS command execution. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40211 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet An attacker can send crafted DNS over HTTP/3 queries, triggering an exception that prevents some buffer from being freed right away. The buffer will be freed at the end of the QUIC connection, but on some setups it might be possible to open enough concurrent DoH3 streams to trigger an out-of-memory condition, resulting in a denial of service. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-1678 9.8 critical 0.00% zephyrproject, zephyr dns_unpack_name() caches the buffer tailroom once and reuses it while appending DNS labels. As the buffer grows, the cached size becomes incorrect, and the final null terminator can be written past the buffer. With assertions disabled (default), a malicious DNS response can trigger an out-of-bounds write when CONFIG_DNS_RESOLVER is enabled. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-17924 9.6 critical 0.00% google, chrome Use after free in DNS in Google Chrome prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-59159 9.6 critical 0.00% no CPE yet SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. In versions prior to 1.13.4, the web user interface for SillyTavern is susceptible to DNS rebinding, allowing attackers to perform actions like install malicious extensions, read chats, inject arbitrary HTML for phishing attacks, etc. The vulnerability has been patched in the version 1.13.4 by introducing a server configuration setting that enables a validation of host names in inbound HTTP requests according to the provided list of allowed hosts: `hostWhitelist.enabled` in config.yaml file or `SILLYTAVERN_HOSTWHITELIST_ENABLED` environment variable. While the setting is disabled by default to honor a wide variety of existing user configurations and maintain backwards compatibility, existing and new users are encouraged to review their server configurations and apply necessary changes to their setup, especially if hosting over the local network while not using SSL. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-9739 9.4 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Vulnerable to DNS rebinding attacks when using SSE (http://b/499408790). During the beta phase, we implemented `allowed-origins` and `allowed-hosts` flags to align with MCP security guidelines. However, the hardcoded `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *` header in the SSE initialization handler was inadvertently retained. This vulnerability specifically impacts users connecting via Toolbox using SSE under specification v2024-11-05. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-77087 9.4 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Paperclip before 0.3.1 in default local_trusted mode fails to validate Host headers, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary commands via DNS rebinding. An attacker can craft a malicious webpage that, when visited by a developer running Paperclip locally, uses DNS rebinding to make authenticated API requests and execute commands through the process adapter. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-71428 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet The unstructured library provides open-source components for ingesting and pre-processing images and text documents, such as PDFs, HTML, Word docs, and many more. From 0.4.7 until 0.24.0, the url argument of partition, partition_html, and partition_md is fetched without host validation in unstructured/partition/auto.py, unstructured/partition/html/partition.py, and unstructured/partition/md.py. An attacker who controls that URL can make a server-side ingestion service request loopback addresses, internal HTTP services, or cloud metadata endpoints through direct targets, redirects, or DNS rebinding. The response body is returned as Element text, allowing internal response disclosure, and side-effecting GET endpoints may also be triggered. This issue is fixed in version 0.24.0. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-104076 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet TVU Networks Receiver/Transceiver devices running firmware before version 7.9 contain a missing authentication vulnerability that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to read sensitive device information and modify device configuration via unprotected REST API endpoints. Attackers can send unauthenticated GET requests to disclose network configuration, firmware details, and cloud service information, or issue POST requests to endpoints such as /Setting3/API/API/v1/LocalNetwork/DNS to alter DNS settings and enable man-in-the-middle attacks on outbound connections to TVU cloud infrastructure. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-85614 9.2 critical 0.00% openpanel-dev, openpanel OpenPanel before 2.3.0 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in the GET /tools/site-checker endpoint that accepts a fully client-controlled URL parameter with no private IP filtering or DNS-rebinding protection. Attackers can make the OpenPanel server issue requests to internal services, localhost, and cloud metadata endpoints, reading internal HTTP response titles, headers, status codes, and SSL certificate information. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-15925 9.2 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Improper TLS hostname verification in Snowflake Connector for Python versions prior to 4.7.1 and 3.18.1 may have allowed a network-positioned attacker to bypass certificate hostname validation on HTTPS connections made by the connector. An attacker with on-path network access could exploit this by intercepting or redirecting network traffic and presenting a certificate signed by any trusted CA for any domain, causing the connector to accept connections without validating that the certificate matched the requested hostname. Successful exploitation requires an on-path traffic interception capability (e.g. ARP/DNS poisoning, rogue access point, BGP hijacking, or malicious proxy/exit node). This vulnerability may have exposed credentials, query data, and staged file contents to interception and tampering, and may have enabled the attacker to issue arbitrary SQL within the context of the victim's connector session. Impact is limited by the privileges of the affected Snowflake role. The fix is available in Snowflake Connector for Python versions 4.7.1 and 3.18.1. Users must manually upgrade. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-75856 9.2 critical 0.00% no CPE yet CodeWhale before 0.8.64 contains a server-side request forgery bypass vulnerability in DNS pinning logic that fails to prevent time-of-check-time-of-use attacks. Attackers can manipulate DNS responses to fail initial resolution checks and succeed on secondary requests, allowing requests to internal IP addresses and bypassing SSRF mitigations. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-63306 9.2 critical 0.00% no CPE yet stoatchat before 0.13.5 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in the /proxy and /embed endpoints that accept arbitrary URLs without DNS resolution filtering or private IP range validation. Attackers can enumerate internal services, fingerprint applications, and reach instance metadata endpoints by supplying malicious URLs or leveraging redirect chains to access internal infrastructure. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-16381 9.1 critical 0.00% mozilla, firefox, thunderbird Same-origin policy bypass in the Networking: DNS component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153, Firefox ESR 140.13, Thunderbird 153, and Thunderbird 140.13. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-70452 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet rsync 3.1.0 before 3.5.0 contains an access control bypass vulnerability that allows remote attackers to circumvent hosts deny rules by inducing DNS resolution failures during hostname-based access control evaluation. When a DNS lookup for a hostname-based deny rule fails, the daemon skips the rule rather than defaulting to a deny decision, enabling attackers who can trigger DNS failures to bypass module-level IP access controls and gain unauthorized access to restricted module file trees. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-107460 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) protection in the UrlImageConverter component of Apache Fesod (Incubating) fesod-sheet 2.0.2-incubating can be bypassed through DNS rebinding. When an application accepts an attacker-controlled image URL for spreadsheet writing, the converter checks the hostname's resolved IP addresses and then opens a separate connection that can resolve the hostname again. An attacker who controls DNS responses for the URL hostname may cause the connection to reach a restricted address after validation. CVE-2026-49328 covers SSRF in releases before 2.0.2-incubating; this issue is a DNS rebinding bypass of the protection in 2.0.2-incubating. Apache Fesod (Incubating) 2.1.0-incubating addresses the reported default-fetch scenario by disabling remote URL image fetching by default and requiring an explicit exact-host allowlist when the feature is enabled. Users should upgrade to 2.1.0-incubating. Applications enabling remote URL image fetching should allowlist only hostnames whose DNS and HTTP services are trusted. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-73253 9.1 critical 0.00% cesanta, mongoose Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to version 7.22, an on-path network attacker with a wildcard certificate for a parent domain can impersonate deeper subdomains to a client using the built-in TLS stack. The mg_tls_verify_cert_san() and mg_tls_verify_cert_cn() functions in src/tls_builtin.c call mg_match(), whose wildcard can cross DNS label boundaries, so a pattern such as *.example.com can match foo.bar.example.com. The resulting hostname verification bypass permits interception and modification of TLS traffic. This issue is fixed in version 7.22. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-1675 9.1 critical 0.00% zephyrproject, zephyr The function dns_copy_qname in dns_pack.c performs performs a memcpy operation with an untrusted field and does not check if the source buffer is large enough to contain the copied data. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-61546 8.8 high — no CPE yet AnkiMCP is an Anki addon that implements an MCP server, enabling AI assistants to interact with the Anki flashcard application. Prior to version 0.21.0, `anki_mcp_server/mcp_server.py` globally disables FastMCP DNS-rebinding protection through `TransportSecuritySettings` with `enable_dns_rebinding_protection=False`, including for the default local Streamable HTTP listener. The defaults in `anki_mcp_server/config.py` enable `http_enabled` on `127.0.0.1:3141`, with an empty `http_path` selecting the root endpoint. No bearer token, API key, session secret, strict `Host` allowlist or strict `Origin` allowlist is enforced before `initialize`, `tools/list` and `tools/call` reach MCP dispatch. A victim who visits a malicious web page while Anki and the listener are running can have browser requests rebound to loopback, allowing the attacker to `initialize` MCP, enumerate tools, read the local collection, and perform enabled non-destructive note/deck creation or updates. The attacker needs neither LAN position nor a local process. Available operations depend on enabled tool filters; destructive tools are hidden unless `enabled_destructive_tools` is opted into, limiting deletion-level impact but not the exposed read/write operations. The reported harness confirms real MCP tool dispatch with substituted Anki bridge responses rather than demonstrating destructive changes to a real collection. Disabling protection for tunnels/proxies also disables it for the normal loopback configuration. This issue is fixed in version 0.21.0. 16 h ago
CVE-2026-9085 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource, Improper Access Control vulnerability in TUBITAK BILGEM Software Technologies Research Institute Pardus-Parental-Control allows DNS Spoofing. This issue affects Pardus-Parental-Control: from <=0.5.1 before 0.7.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-77363 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, the Streamable HTTP transport does not validate the Host or Origin header or enable DNS-rebinding protection. When the documented loopback configuration uses auth.mode set to none, a malicious web page can send requests to the local MCP endpoint and receive unrestricted vault access through the http-local caller. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by enabling host, origin, and DNS-rebinding validation. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-39458 8.7 high 0.00% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall When a BIG-IP is configured with DNS caching (Such as a DNS profile with caching enabled, SSL Orchestrator, Advanced WAF DoS protection), undisclosed traffic can cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to terminate. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-12244 8.7 high 0.00% nlnetlabs, nsd If NSD is configured as secondary for a zone, the primary of that zone can crash NSD with an AXFR containing a DNS message with a special crafted SVCB RR with an rdata size of 65512, that let's an (uint16_t) variable that is used to allocate space needed for the RR wrap (because total size > 65535), causing a heap overflow. The attacker can perform a controlled (RCE class) head write of up to 65509 bytes Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-12245 8.7 high 0.00% nlnetlabs, nsd NSD from version 4.13.0 has a heap use-after-free bug in logging errors on TLS connections, causing a crash of the server process, which can be triggered trivially by sending a DNS query over a DoT connection, and closing the connection without reading the response. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-73160 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Affected versions of cti-transmute contain an SSRF vulnerability in the /fetch_misp_event and /misp_search_events endpoints. The URL validation routine checked whether a supplied hostname was itself an IP literal and rejected private, loopback, link-local, or reserved IPs. However, ordinary domain names were accepted without resolving them first. An attacker could therefore use a hostname whose DNS record pointed to an internal address and cause the cti-transmute server to issue requests into its internal network. The commit explicitly states that anonymous callers could make the server request the internal target and read the response. The fix resolves hostnames using socket.getaddrinfo(), checks that every resolved address is globally routable, and additionally places @login_required on both affected MISP fetch/search routes. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-54729 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet DSSRF is a Node.js library that provides a wide range of utilities and advanced SSRF defense checks. Prior to 1.0.5, is_url_safe can treat localhost as safe when DNS resolver 1.1.1.1 returns NXDOMAIN because dns.resolve4 yields no address and no dns.lookup fallback occurs, allowing server-side request forgery. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.5. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-110825 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The ONVIF device service on affected Kiloview E3 NDI encoder firmware accepts hostname, DNS, and NTP configuration write operations without requiring authentication, regardless of the device's configured authentication setting for this service. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can alter the device hostname, redirect DNS resolution, or modify the configured time source, enabling follow on attacks such as traffic interception or certificate validation bypass. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-66787 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in the lighthouse component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of advertised IP addresses within EndpointSlice objects. A compromised spoke cluster can exploit this by creating EndpointSlices with attacker-controlled IP addresses, causing other clusters' lighthouse DNS to redirect legitimate service traffic to malicious endpoints. This enables a remote attacker to conduct transparent Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on cross-cluster service communications, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure and data manipulation. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-59781 8.7 high 0.00% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall When DNS cache is configured on a BIG-IP or BIG-IP Next CNF virtual server, undisclosed DNS queries can cause an increase in memory resource utilization. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-47139 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to version 3.11.4, NodeVM supports excluding public network builtins from the wildcard builtin option. With this configuration direct access to http, https, http2, net, dgram, tls, dns, and dns/promises is blocked. However, Node.js also exposes underscored internal HTTP builtins such as _http_client and _http_server. These are not blocked when the public modules are excluded. Sandboxed code can use these internal builtins to make outbound HTTP requests and open listening HTTP sockets even though the public network modules are denied. This issue has been patched in version 3.11.4. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-80192 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet @better-auth/sso before 1.6.27 (and before 1.4.8 in the 1.4.x line and before 1.7.0-rc.5 in the 1.7 prerelease line) contains two domain-ownership flaws. When domain verification is disabled, automatic organization assignment accepts unverified provider domains, allowing an authenticated organization owner/administrator to register an SSO provider for an arbitrary domain and have users with matching email domains added to the attacker's organization with default member permissions. When domain verification is enabled, a race condition between the verify-domain and update-provider endpoints can apply completed DNS proof to a different domain; combined with implicit account linking, this can link an attacker-controlled identity provider to an existing user account. Exploitation requires the SSO plugin (and, for the org-assignment path, the organization plugin) with the relevant configuration enabled. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-40061 8.5 high 0.00% f5, big-ip_domain_name_system When BIG-IP DNS is provisioned, a vulnerability exists in an undisclosed iControl REST and BIG-IP TMOS Shell (tmsh) command that may allow an authenticated attacker with the Resource Administrator or Administrator role to execute arbitrary system commands with higher privileges. In Appliance mode deployments, a successful exploit can allow the attacker to cross a security boundary. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. CVE-2026-68558 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. From 8.36 until 9.74, the outgoing webhook Integration URL validator in models/integrations.js checked only the literal URL.hostname against regular expressions, so DNS names such as 169-254-169-254.nip.io passed that first-line check. The delivery path's fetchSafe guard already blocked the reported IPv4 destination, but its separate IPv4-only resolver and duplicated blocklist created inconsistent all-address-family enforcement and drift risk between input-time and connection-time validation. Version 9.74 makes server/lib/ssrfGuard.js resolve all addresses with `dns.lookup({ all: true })`, validate every result through the shared isIpBlocked logic, pin the connection, and block redirects. This issue is fixed in version 9.74. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-63388 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Libevent is an event notification library. Prior to 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha, libevent has a heap out-of-bounds write in bufferevent_sock.c when bufferevent_socket_set_conn_address_ copies a kernel-supplied AF_UNIX peer address into bufferevent_private.conn_address. Release builds compiled with NDEBUG disable the EVUTIL_ASSERT length guard, and the evhttp accept path can pass a 110-byte sockaddr from accept() into the 28-byte field. An unauthenticated local peer able to connect to an AF_UNIX listener can overwrite the adjacent dns_request pointer and heap data, causing memory corruption with confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-61429 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet PraisonAI versions before 1.6.78 contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Crawl4AI/Chromium backend that allows attackers to bypass SSRF validation by exploiting DNS rebinding and HTTP redirects. Attackers can craft URLs that resolve to internal services after the initial validation check, enabling the headless browser to follow redirects and read internal responses including sensitive canary values. CVE-2026-61430 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet PraisonAI before 1.6.78 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the web_crawl tool that validates hostnames at check time but re-resolves them at connection time without IP pinning. Attackers can use DNS rebinding to bypass SSRF protection and retrieve internal HTTP response bodies from private or loopback services. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-76838 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Hi.Events validates a webhook destination only when it is registered, never when it is used. NoInternalUrlRule in backend/app/Validators/Rules/NoInternalUrlRule.php resolves the hostname with gethostbyname() and rejects private and reserved ranges, which any public hostname passes. At dispatch, WebhookDispatchService takes the stored URL and calls it through spatie/laravel-webhook-server without repeating the check, and backend/config/webhook-server.php sets no Guzzle options, so redirect following remains enabled by default. A destination that answers with a redirect to a loopback, private or cloud metadata address therefore causes the server to issue that request, and changing the hostname's DNS record after registration reaches the same result because no resolution is repeated. The response is not discarded: WebhookResponseHandlerService stores the body on the webhook log and WebhookLogResource returns it from the webhook logs endpoint, so the requester reads what the internal service replied rather than inferring it. Both event and organizer webhooks share the rule and the dispatch path. Version 1.11.1-beta revalidates at dispatch, pins the validated address, checks every redirect hop, and decodes IPv6 transition addresses that previously bypassed the filter. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-72855 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Budibase before 3.40.0 contains server-side request forgery vulnerabilities in OpenAPI query import and REST query execution that allow authenticated builder-level users to bypass DNS pinning protections through DNS rebinding attacks. Attackers can configure hostnames that resolve to public addresses during validation but resolve to loopback or private addresses during actual connection, allowing access to blocked internal HTTP services. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-49471 8.3 high 0.00% oraios-ai, serena Serena is a powerful MCP toolkit for coding that provides semantic retrieval and editing capabilities. Prior to v1.5.2, Serena's built-in web dashboard exposes an unauthenticated Flask API on a fixed, predictable port, with no authentication, no CSRF protection, and no Host header validation. A DNS rebinding attack allows a malicious webpage to reach this API from any browser and write arbitrary content to the agent's persistent memory store, which the agent reads and acts on autonomously. Combined with execute_shell_command using shell=True, this creates a remote code execution chain requiring only that the victim visit a malicious webpage while Serena is running. This issue is fixed in version v1.5.2. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-84315 8.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. Prior to 2.4.1, Nginx UI does not apply RequireSecureSession to multiple authenticated mutation routes even though OTP-enabled users are expected to present a fresh X-Secure-Session-ID for sensitive actions. A stolen authenticated session can therefore create or alter automatic backups, DNS credentials and records, certificates and ACME users, Nginx control settings, and site or stream automation without completing the OTP or passkey step-up. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.1. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-103602 8.2 high 0.00% bouncycastle, bc-csharp Improper certificate validation in PkixNameConstraintValidator in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows an attacker who controls, or can obtain certificates from, a name-constrained intermediate CA to have certificates accepted during PKIX certification path validation for email addresses, DNS names or URI hosts that lie within excluded subtrees applying to that CA, via an rfc822Name, dNSName or uniformResourceIdentifier name whose host ends with a dot, because names and constraints were compared without first removing the RFC 1034 root-label trailing dot, so a fully qualified host name did not match an excluded subtree for the same host written without the dot. 24 h ago
CVE-2026-42260 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet Open-WebSearch is a multi-engine MCP server, CLI, and local daemon for agent web search and content retrieval. Prior to 2.1.7, isPublicHttpUrl / assertPublicHttpUrl in src/utils/urlSafety.ts do not recognize bracketed IPv6 literals and do not resolve DNS, which combine to allow non-blind SSRF with the response body returned to the caller. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-32992 8.2 high 0.00% cpanel, wp_squared, whm SSL verification is disabled in the DNS Cluster system. This could allow for a malicious server to man-in-the-middle the request and capture credentials. Mon 26 Oct
