CVE-2026-57572 10.0 critical 1.0% kidocode, crawl4ai Crawl4AI is an open-source LLM-friendly web crawler and scraper. Prior to 0.9.0, the Docker API server accepted request-supplied browser_config.extra_args, which flowed into Chromium's launch arguments. An attacker could inject Chromium switches that replace a child-process launch command together with --no-zygote, causing Chromium to fork or exec an attacker-controlled command as the container's runtime user. The Docker API is unauthenticated by default, so a single request yields arbitrary command execution. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.0. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54735 10.0 critical 1.0% prebid, prebid_server Prebid Server is an open-source solution for running real-time advertising auctions in the cloud. Prior to version 4.4.0, certain bidder adapters in Prebid Server interpolate user-supplied parameters into outbound request URLs without properly validating host and subdomain values, allowing crafted bid request parameters to cause server-side requests to unintended destinations and potentially expose internal network services or sensitive server endpoints. This issue is fixed in version 4.4.0. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-110130 10.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Dockhand before 1.0.45 contains an authentication bypass in which the global auth hook skips authentication for any path ending in a static-asset extension such as .js, including /api/* routes, and the user-mutation handlers fail open for unauthenticated callers. Unauthenticated remote attackers can send a PUT request to /api/users/<id>.js to reset the admin's or any user's password and take over the account. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-61539 10.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Xinference is an inference API for running open-source, speech, and multimodal models. In 2.5.0 and earlier, Xinference passes attacker-influenced Llama3 tool-call output to eval() in xinference/model/llm/tool_parsers/llama3_tool_parser.py and xinference/model/llm/utils.py. Requests to /v1/chat/completions with a tools field flow through xinference/api/restful_api.py, xinference/model/llm/transformers/core.py, handle_chat_result_non_streaming(), and _post_process_completion() before extract_tool_calls() or _eval_llama3_chat_arguments() evaluates the model-generated Python expression. An unauthenticated remote attacker can influence that output through a crafted prompt and execute commands in the Xinference server process context. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.0. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-113672 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 0.9.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, the repo-server evaluates .jsonnet files with an importer that does not confine import, importstr, or importbin to the repository root. Absolute paths, parent-directory traversal, and repository symlinks can open any file readable by the repo-server, including /proc/self/environ, projected service-account tokens, mounted private keys, and repository credentials. Although generated Secrets are redacted, placing imported contents in a ConfigMap returns the data to the caller. Using importstr on a non-terminating device such as /dev/zero can exhaust repo-server memory. An attacker can commit a .jsonnet file to a Git repository used by an Application or upload the file through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. Directory applications evaluate every .jsonnet file in the application directory. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing directory Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-40342 9.9 critical 1.0% firebirdsql, firebird Firebird is an open-source relational database management system. In versions prior to 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14, the external engine plugin loader concatenates a user-supplied engine name into a filesystem path without filtering path separators or .. components. An authenticated user with CREATE FUNCTION privileges can use a crafted ENGINE name to load an arbitrary shared library from anywhere on the filesystem via path traversal. The library's initialization code executes immediately during loading, before Firebird validates the module, achieving code execution as the server's OS account. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43999 9.9 critical 1.0% vm2_project, vm2 vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.0, NodeVM's builtin allowlist can be bypassed when the module builtin is allowed (including via the '*' wildcard). The module builtin exposes Node's Module._load(), which loads any module by name directly in the host context, completely bypassing vm2's builtin restriction. This allows sandboxed code to load excluded builtins like child_process and achieve remote code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-50551 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, SiYuan contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Attribute View (database) asset cell renderer that escalates to remote code execution (RCE) in the Electron desktop client. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-34047 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.471, terminal WebSocket bootstrap routes did not enforce the expected authorization middleware, allowing an authenticated user to access terminal functionality for resources outside the authorized scope and potentially execute commands. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0-beta.471. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-72911 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to 15.118.0 and 16.29.0, the validate_template and render_template calls in erpnext/accounts/doctype/process_statement_of_accounts/process_statement_of_accounts.py render subject, body, and pdf_name fields with unrestricted globals including frappe.utils, allowing an authenticated user with a common operational role to inject template expressions, execute arbitrary server-side code, and read data across the application. This issue is fixed in versions 15.118.0 and 16.29.0. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-52855 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Wings is the server control plane for Pterodactyl, a free, open-source game server management panel. Prior to 1.12.3, {{config.}} placeholders in egg configuration-file templates allow a low-privileged user to read {{config.token}}, {{config.token_id}}, and {{config.docker.registries}} from the full daemon configuration. This issue is fixed in version 1.12.3. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-47686 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.6, handleException() in lib/setup-sandbox.js sanitizes SuppressedError.error, SuppressedError.suppressed, and AggregateError.errors but does not sanitize Error.cause, allowing sandbox code to obtain a powerful host object such as process from an embedder-exposed host function that throws an error with that object as its cause and then execute arbitrary host commands. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.6. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-65974 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to 15.111.0 and 16.22.0, limited authenticated users can cross a permission boundary in Frappe safe execution because frappe.render_template is exposed without forcing restrict_globals, allowing server-side template injection and remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 15.111.0 and 16.22.0. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-85748 9.9 critical 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 12.3.1 until 12.3.3 and 13.0.2, SYS_REFCURSOR handling is affected because cursor-array reallocation can leave stale references in routine contexts. A low-privileged attacker can open a large number of SYS_REFCURSORs and then fetch one to trigger a use-after-free that can enable remote code execution when combined with another vulnerability. This issue is fixed in versions 12.3.3 and 13.0.2. 20 Oct
CVE-2025-66489 9.9 critical 1.0% cal, cal.com Cal.com is open-source scheduling software. Prior to 5.9.8, A flaw in the login credentials provider allows an attacker to bypass password verification when a TOTP code is provided, potentially gaining unauthorized access to user accounts. This issue exists due to problematic conditional logic in the authentication flow. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.9.8. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-118636 9.8 critical 1.0% apache software foundation, apache mina **UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED** JavaNativeMessageDecoder in the MINA 3.0 codec module calls ObjectInputStream.readObject() on frame bytes with no class filter, so an application that puts it in front of an untrusted peer is open to gadget-chain RCE. As the 3.0.0 branch is inactive, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to use the latest Apache MINA 2.2.X branch. Sat 31 Oct
CVE-2026-72472 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfs: use nfsi->rwsem to protect traversal of the file lock list Lingfeng identified a bug and suggested two solutions, but both appear to have issues. Generally, we cannot release flc_lock while iterating over the file lock list to avoid use-after-free (UAF) problems with file locks. However, functions like nfs_delegation_claim_locks and nfs4_reclaim_locks cannot adhere to this rule because recover_lock or nfs4_lock_delegation_recall may take a long time. To resolve this, NFS switches to using nfsi->rwsem for the same protection, and nfs_reclaim_locks follows this approach. Although nfs_delegation_claim_locks uses so_delegreturn_mutex instead, this is inadequate since a single inode can have multiple nfs4_state instances. Therefore, the fix is to also use nfsi->rwsem in this case. Furthermore, after commit c69899a17ca4 ("NFSv4: Update of VFS byte range lock must be atomic with the stateid update"), the functions nfs4_locku_done and nfs4_lock_done also break this rule because they call locks_lock_inode_wait without holding nfsi->rwsem. Simply adding this protection could cause many deadlocks, so instead, the call to locks_lock_inode_wait is moved into _nfs4_proc_setlk. Regarding the bug fixed by commit c69899a17ca4 ("NFSv4: Update of VFS byte range lock must be atomic with the stateid update"), it has been resolved after commit 0460253913e5 ("NFSv4: nfs4_do_open() is incorrectly triggering state recovery") because all slots are drained before calling nfs4_do_reclaim, which prevents concurrent stateid changes along this path. Also, nfs_delegation_claim_locks does not cause this concurrency either since when _nfs4_proc_setlk is called with NFS_DELEGATED_STATE, no RPC is sent, so nfs4_lock_done is not called. Therefore, nfs4_lock_delegation_recall from nfs_delegation_claim_locks is the first time the stateid is set. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2024-53177 9.8 critical 1.0% linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: prevent use-after-free due to open_cached_dir error paths If open_cached_dir() encounters an error parsing the lease from the server, the error handling may race with receiving a lease break, resulting in open_cached_dir() freeing the cfid while the queued work is pending. Update open_cached_dir() to drop refs rather than directly freeing the cfid. Have cached_dir_lease_break(), cfids_laundromat_worker(), and invalidate_all_cached_dirs() clear has_lease immediately while still holding cfids->cfid_list_lock, and then use this to also simplify the reference counting in cfids_laundromat_worker() and invalidate_all_cached_dirs(). Fixes this KASAN splat (which manually injects an error and lease break in open_cached_dir()): ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in smb2_cached_lease_break+0x27/0xb0 Read of size 8 at addr ffff88811cc24c10 by task kworker/3:1/65 CPU: 3 UID: 0 PID: 65 Comm: kworker/3:1 Not tainted 6.12.0-rc6-g255cf264e6e5-dirty #87 Hardware name: VMware, Inc. CVE-2026-115915 9.8 critical 1.0% vllm vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.32.0, ImageMediaIO passes attacker-controlled image bytes to Pillow through Image.open(BytesIO(data)) without restricting decoder selection, and the MIME label does not constrain the selected format. Image-capable request paths through parse_image() and fetch_image() can therefore dispatch an EPS payload to host components. A host with Ghostscript affected by CVE-2024-29510 can execute commands with the vLLM process's privileges, while environments using Pillow 12.0.0 through 12.2.0 can trigger CVE-2026-59203 and exhaust media-loading workers. Deployments without the applicable vulnerable dependency are not affected by that corresponding impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.32.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2024-31026 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet An issue in Greek Universities Network (GUnet) Open eClass Platform v.3.15 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the chat input field in the course module. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-35490 9.8 critical 1.0% webtechnologies, changedetection changedetection.io is a free open source web page change detection tool. Prior to 0.54.8, the @login_optionally_required decorator is placed before (outer to) @blueprint.route() instead of after it. In Flask, @route() must be the outermost decorator because it registers the function it receives. When the order is reversed, @route() registers the original undecorated function, and the auth wrapper is never in the call chain. This silently disables authentication on these routes. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.54.8. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-65719 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet An issue in Open Source Kubectl MCP Server v1.1.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code on a victim system via user interaction with a crafted HTML page. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-24781 9.8 critical 1.0% vm2_project, vm2 vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to version 3.11.0, VM2 suffers from a sandbox breakout vulnerability through the inspect function. This allows attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This issue has been patched in version 3.11.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-26956 9.8 critical 1.0% vm2_project, vm2 vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. In version 3.10.4, vm2 is vulnerable to full sandbox escape with arbitrary code execution. Attacker code inside VM.run() obtains host process object and runs host commands with zero host cooperation. This issue has been patched in version 3.10.5. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44008 9.8 critical 1.0% vm2_project, vm2 vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.2, the new method neutralizeArraySpeciesBatch works with objects from the other side but can call into this side via getter on the array prototype exposing objects of the wrong side into the sandbox. This can be used to get host objects and get the host Function object. This allows attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44009 9.8 critical 1.0% vm2_project, vm2 vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.2, This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-45411 9.8 critical 1.0% vm2_project, vm2 vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.3, it is possible to catch a host exception using the yield* expression inside an async generator. When the generator is closed using the return function, the value is awaited on and exceptions thrown in the then call will be caught by the runtime and passed to the yield* iterator as the next value. This allows attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.3. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42846 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.3 - #140, ClipBucket's Remote Play feature allows any authenticated user to add a video by importing an external URL as the source. Some shell commands are run with the URL as a parameter. The URL is concatenated directly into shell commands without escaping then executed, so any shell metacharacter in the URL is interpreted. This results in arbitrary command execution. This issue has been patched in version 5.5.3 - #140. 26 Oct
CVE-2026-24120 9.8 critical 1.0% vm2_project, vm2 vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to version 3.10.5, the fix for CVE-2023-37466 is insufficient and can be circumvented allowing attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This issue has been patched in version 3.10.5. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-41252 9.8 critical 1.0% neutrinolabs, xrdp xrdp is an open source RDP server. Versions 0.10.6 and prior contain a missing bounds check in xrdp, which allows a heap-based buffer overflow when operating in vnc-any mode. The issue occurs during the handling of RFB protocol color map messages from a VNC server, where incoming color indices are not properly validated. A malicious VNC server can exploit this flaw by sending crafted messages with out-of-range values, leading to an out-of-bounds write on the heap. This memory corruption can result in a denial of service (DoS) or potentially allow remote code execution (RCE) prior to authentication. This issue has been fixed in version 0.10.6.1. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-49827 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet WebErpMesv2 is a Resource Management and Manufacturing execution system Web for industry. Versions 1.19 and prior allow any self-registered user to upload arbitrary PHP files through the HR Expense scan_file parameter, leading to Remote Code Execution. Combined with open registration (no invite required) and broken role middleware (CheckUserRole silently swallows RouteNotFoundException), this chain is effectively unauthenticated RCE against any default installation. The issue is patched in commit 5c54862fa044b363fd2be03d586750e81afd6818. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-72567 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet An improper path validation vulnerability in AsyncFuncAI/deepwiki-open through commit 16f35a0 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to write to or delete arbitrary files with root privileges. The api/api.py wiki-cache endpoint constructs file paths from user-controlled owner, repo, and repo_type fields without sanitization, enabling path traversal. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-47698 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.6, lib/bridge.js and lib/setup-sandbox.js fail to block stacked indirection through Function.prototype.call around dangerous host prototype getter and setter mutators, allowing sandbox code to sever a host intrinsic's prototype chain and reach e.constructor.constructor for arbitrary host command execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.6. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-62592 9.8 critical 1.0% oracle, siebel_crm Vulnerability in the Siebel CRM Integration product of Oracle Siebel CRM (component: Open Integration). Supported versions that are affected are 25.12-26.6. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Siebel CRM Integration. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Siebel CRM Integration. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). 22 Oct
CVE-2026-89492 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: validate directory-index entry counts when reading metadata ocfs2_validate_dx_leaf() and ocfs2_validate_dx_root() check the ECC and signature of an indexed-directory block before it reaches higher-level callers, but neither validator bounds the ocfs2_dx_entry_list counts against the capacity of the block that holds them. ocfs2_dx_dir_search() then walks for (i = 0; i < le16_to_cpu(entry_list->de_num_used); i++) dx_entry = &entry_list->de_entries[i]; over de_num_used entries with no bounds check. entry_list is either dx_leaf->dl_list (from ocfs2_read_dx_leaf) or, for an inline root, dx_root->dr_entries. A crafted on-disk image can set de_num_used (and de_count, which is the __counted_by_le() bound of de_entries) to 0xffff and make the walk read far past the end of the 4KB metadata block, giving a slab out-of-bounds read reachable from any path lookup, stat() or open() on an indexed directory once the image is mounted. Commit 775c17386a6f ("ocfs2: validate dx_root extent list fields during block read") already bounds dr_list for the non-inline dx_root, but left the inline dr_entries path and the dx_leaf dl_list unchecked. Add the same read-time validation for both entry lists: de_count must equal the capacity of the block (ocfs2_dx_entries_per_leaf()/per_root()) and de_num_used must not exceed de_count, rejecting corrupted metadata with -EFSCORRUPTED before ocfs2_dx_dir_search() can walk an out-of-range entry array. de_count is always written as exactly the block capacity when a leaf or inline root is formatted, so the equality check does not reject any valid image. Found by 0sec automated security-research tooling (https://0sec.ai). 21 Oct
CVE-2026-43186 9.8 critical 1.0% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: ioam: fix heap buffer overflow in __ioam6_fill_trace_data() On the receive path, __ioam6_fill_trace_data() uses trace->nodelen to decide how much data to write for each node. It trusts this field as-is from the incoming packet, with no consistency check against trace->type (the 24-bit field that tells which data items are present). A crafted packet can set nodelen=0 while setting type bits 0-21, causing the function to write ~100 bytes past the allocated region (into skb_shared_info), which corrupts adjacent heap memory and leads to a kernel panic. Add a shared helper ioam6_trace_compute_nodelen() in ioam6.c to derive the expected nodelen from the type field, and use it: - in ioam6_iptunnel.c (send path, existing validation) to replace the open-coded computation; - in exthdrs.c (receive path, ipv6_hop_ioam) to drop packets whose nodelen is inconsistent with the type field, before any data is written. Per RFC 9197, bits 12-21 are each short (4-octet) fields, so they are included in IOAM6_MASK_SHORT_FIELDS (changed from 0xff100000 to 0xff1ffc00). 19 Oct
CVE-2025-58447 9.8 critical 1.0% rathena rAthena is an open-source cross-platform massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) server. Versions prior to commit 2f5248b have a heap-based buffer overflow in the login server, remote attacker to overwrite adjacent session fields by sending a crafted `CA_SSO_LOGIN_REQ` with an oversized token length. This leads to immediate denial of service (crash) and it is possible to achieve remote code execution via heap corruption. Commit 2f5248b fixes the issue. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89990 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ceph: lock mutex in ceph_mds_check_access() MDS session OPEN handling replaces mdsc->s_cap_auths under mdsc->mutex, freeing the previous array and its strings. ceph_mds_check_access() traverses this array without holding the mutex. A concurrent session reopen can therefore free the array while it is being inspected, resulting in a use-after-free like this: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 003aaad64b2c8bb9 [...] Internal error: Oops: 0000000096000004 [#1] SMP Modules linked in: CPU: 56 UID: 2953037534 PID: 1253231 Comm: php-cgi8.4 Not tainted 6.18.45-i2-ampere #1146 NONE [..] pc : ceph_mds_check_access+0xd4/0x550 lr : ceph_mds_check_access+0xc8/0x550 [...] Call trace: ceph_mds_check_access+0xd4/0x550 (P) ceph_atomic_open+0x138/0xbe8 path_openat+0xa24/0xfa8 do_filp_open+0x94/0x158 do_sys_openat2+0x88/0xf8 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89688 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: drop the stateid, not the stateowner, on seqid_op replay retry In nfs4_preprocess_seqid_op() the stateid is obtained from nfsd4_lookup_stateid(), which holds a reference on the nfs4_stid (sc_count) but takes no reference on the stateowner. openlockstateid() merely casts that stid and likewise takes no reference. When nfsd4_cstate_assign_replay() returns -EAGAIN (the replay owner is being torn down, RP_UNHASHED) it has not taken a stateowner reference on that path. The error handling nevertheless called nfs4_put_stateowner(stp->st_stateowner), dropping an so_count reference the function never acquired -- risking a stateowner refcount underflow and use-after-free -- while leaking the sc_count reference held on the stid. The leaked stid reference can also stall a concurrent nfsd4_close_open_stateid() waiting for sc_count to drop. Drop the reference actually held -- the stid -- before retrying. The stateowner stays alive through the reference held by the stid. This mirrors the open path in nfsd4_process_open1(), where the put balances a reference that path explicitly holds on the stateowner. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89677 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix possible fh_compose of wrong dentry in nfsd4_create_file() dentry_create() can hypothetically provide a different dentry than the one passed in. This could happen, for example, if the exported filesystem is NFS, and the server returned to OPEN a filehandle which matched a directory that was already in the dcache. Clearly this would not be expected! If this were to happen the dentry (child) that was already stored in resfhp could be freed and later dereferenced. We shouldn't call fh_compose() until we are certain that we have the final dentry, so this patch moved the fh_compose() call to two places: one for the case where the target already exists, and one after dentry_create() where it was created. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89662 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Prevent lock owner use-after-free during client teardown __destroy_client() releases a client's open owners, but a lock owner whose only reference is a blocked lock (nbl) stays on cl_ownerstr_hashtbl. client_has_state() does not count a bare owner, so DESTROY_CLIENTID can reach __destroy_client() with such owners present. __destroy_client() then walks the table, calling remove_blocked_locks() on each owner without a reference. Freeing a blocked lock drops the owner reference held via flc_owner. The per-net laundromat reaps blocked locks from nn->blocked_locks_lru independently of client state. The two paths share blocked_locks_lock only for the list splice, not the owner's lifetime. The laundromat therefore frees the owner as __destroy_client() dereferences it, a NULL dereference in remove_blocked_locks(). nfsd4_release_lockowner() holds a reference across the same call; __destroy_client() does not. Hold cl_lock across the walk, taking a reference and unhashing each owner, then drop it before remove_blocked_locks() and nfs4_put_stateowner(), which take blocked_locks_lock and cl_lock. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89651 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ceph: bound MDSCapAuth path and fs_name decode in handle_session() handle_session() decodes the MDSCapAuth records carried by a CEPH_SESSION_OPEN message (msg_version >= 6). For each record the match.path and match.fs_name byte strings are read by first decoding a 32-bit length and then copying that many bytes with the bare ceph_decode_copy(). Unlike the surrounding fields, which all use the _safe decode variants, these two copies are not preceded by a ceph_decode_need() bounds check, and the enclosing MDSCapAuth and MDSCapMatch struct_len fields are skipped rather than enforced as an upper bound. A length larger than the bytes remaining in the message front makes ceph_decode_copy() read past the end of the front buffer. The message front is a dedicated allocation (ceph_msg_new2() -> kvmalloc), so the over-read runs off that object. A malicious or compromised MDS can trigger this with the first post-connect message on mount, with no client-side user interaction; under KASAN it is reported as a slab-out-of-bounds read in handle_session(). Impact: a malicious MDS can force the kernel client to read up to 4 GiB past the message front allocation during session setup, crashing the client (out-of-bounds read). Switch both copies to ceph_decode_copy_safe(), which performs the ceph_decode_need() bounds check before the copy and branches to the existing bad label, matching the rest of the decoder and the error path that frees the partially decoded cap_auths array. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89635 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: only rebind the reopened file's own oplock on durable reconnect ksmbd_reopen_durable_fd() walks the inode's m_op_list and rebinds every detached oplock to the reconnecting session: list_for_each_entry_rcu(op, &ci->m_op_list, op_entry, lockdep_is_held(&ci->m_lock)) { if (op->conn) continue; op->conn = ksmbd_conn_get(fp->conn); op->sess = work->sess; } The only key is op->conn == NULL, which every detached durable handle on that inode matches, not just the one owned by fp. When two sessions hold durable handles on the same file and both disconnect, reconnecting one of them adopts the other session's oplock: op->sess is overwritten with the reconnecting session without taking a reference on it, while op->conn pins the connection. The sibling teardown path, session_fd_check(), keys on the identity of the connection being torn down (op->conn == conn) rather than on shared state, and so does not have this problem. Once the adopting session is destroyed, ksmbd_session_destroy() frees it while the foreign oplock still points at it. The reader in ksmbd_close_fd_app_instance_id() validates only opinfo->conn, which is still live thanks to the reference taken above, and then dereferences the stale session: if (!opinfo->conn) { up_read(&fp->f_ci->m_lock); goto out; } ft = &opinfo->sess->file_table; write_lock(&ft->lock); BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in _raw_write_lock+0x74/0xd0 Write of size 4 at addr ffff88810a970528 by task kworker/0:0/9 Workqueue: ksmbd-io handle_ksmbd_work Call Trace: _raw_write_lock+0x74/0xd0 ksmbd_close_fd_app_instance_id+0x183/0x410 smb2_open+0x1346/0x4430 handle_ksmbd_work+0x2bb/0x7b0 Reached from an authenticated session against a share with the default durable-handle and oplock configuration: two sessions open the same file with a durable-v2 handle and an RH lease under distinct AppInstanceIds, both log off, one reconnects with DH2C, and a later durable-v2 create carrying the other AppInstanceId walks into the freed session. CVE-2026-72192 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: bound to_move in indx_insert_into_root before hdr_insert_head indx_insert_into_root() promotes a full resident $INDEX_ROOT into $INDEX_ALLOCATION and copies all non-last resident root entries into a newly allocated INDEX_BUFFER via hdr_insert_head(). The source byte count 'to_move' is summed from the on-disk resident entry sizes and is independent of the destination buffer size, which comes from root->index_block_size (via indx->index_bits). A crafted NTFS image that keeps a valid, full resident root but shrinks root->index_block_size down to 512 after the root has been populated makes hdr_insert_head() memcpy attacker-controlled resident entry bytes past the end of the kmalloc(1u << indx->index_bits) allocation returned by indx_new(). For a 512-byte destination and a resident root whose non-last entries total 560 bytes, the memcpy overruns by 120 bytes and a following memmove extends the highest written offset to 136 bytes past the allocation. The overflow bytes are a direct copy of on-disk entries (via kmemdup), so they are fully attacker-controlled. The write is reachable from unprivileged open(O_CREAT) on a mounted crafted NTFS image: a single sufficiently long create in a directory whose resident root is already full forces root promotion and triggers the copy. This is a controlled out-of-bounds write of 120-136 bytes past a kmalloc(index_block_size) allocation, with attacker-controlled content. It is a bounded adjacent-heap corruption primitive; it is not an arbitrary-address write. Successful exploitation into a named victim object depends on the surrounding slab layout. Reject the copy at the sink. The destination's INDEX_HDR already reports hdr_total (the payload capacity of the new buffer) and hdr_used (the bytes already consumed by the terminal END entry installed by indx_new()); require that to_move fits in the remaining payload before calling hdr_insert_head(). On mismatch, fail with -EINVAL and mark the filesystem as having a detected on-disk inconsistency, which is the same behaviour as the surrounding validation in this function. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-19593 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet OpenAI Codex Desktop for Windows and macOS automatically inspected Git metadata and working-tree status when a user opened a workspace. If the workspace contains a repository with preserved attacker-controlled .git/config, the attr.tree setting and a configured clean or process filter can cause Git to run an attacker-controlled program. The program runs outside Codex's command sandbox with the signed-in user's privileges, without a workspace-trust prompt, command approval, or interaction with a model. The attacker can read, modify, or delete files and access credentials available to that user. Exploitation requires Git to be available on PATH and the user to open the attacker-prepared repository with its local Git configuration intact. An ordinary Git clone does not copy the source repository's .git/config and is not sufficient by itself. 15 Oct
CVE-2025-68285 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: fix potential use-after-free in have_mon_and_osd_map() The wait loop in __ceph_open_session() can race with the client receiving a new monmap or osdmap shortly after the initial map is received. Both ceph_monc_handle_map() and handle_one_map() install a new map immediately after freeing the old one kfree(monc->monmap); monc->monmap = monmap; ceph_osdmap_destroy(osdc->osdmap); osdc->osdmap = newmap; under client->monc.mutex and client->osdc.lock respectively, but because neither is taken in have_mon_and_osd_map() it's possible for client->monc.monmap->epoch and client->osdc.osdmap->epoch arms in client->monc.monmap && client->monc.monmap->epoch && client->osdc.osdmap && client->osdc.osdmap->epoch; condition to dereference an already freed map. CVE-2026-64016 9.8 critical 1.0% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix durable reconnect error path file lifetime After a durable reconnect succeeds, ksmbd_reopen_durable_fd() republishes the same ksmbd_file into the session volatile-id table. If smb2_open() then takes a later error path, cleanup first calls ksmbd_fd_put(work, fp) and then unconditionally calls ksmbd_put_durable_fd(dh_info.fp). In this case fp and dh_info.fp are the same object. The first put drops the reconnect lookup reference, but the final durable put can run __ksmbd_close_fd(NULL, fp). Because the final close is not session-aware, it can free the file object without removing the volatile-id entry that was just published into the session table. Use the session-aware put for the final reconnect drop when the reconnect had already succeeded and the error path is cleaning up the republished file. Earlier reconnect failures, before fp is assigned to dh_info.fp, keep using the durable-only put path. 13 Oct
CVE-2025-62373 9.8 critical 1.0% pipecat Pipecat is an open-source Python framework for building real-time voice and multimodal conversational agents. Versions 0.0.41 through 0.0.93 have a vulnerability in `LivekitFrameSerializer` – an optional, non-default, undocumented frame serializer class (now deprecated) intended for LiveKit integration. The class's `deserialize()` method uses Python's `pickle.loads()` on data received from WebSocket clients without any validation or sanitization. This means that a malicious WebSocket client can send a crafted pickle payload to execute arbitrary code on the Pipecat server. The vulnerable code resides in `src/pipecat/serializers/livekit.py` (around line 73), where untrusted WebSocket message data is passed directly into `pickle.loads()` for deserialization. If a Pipecat server is configured to use LivekitFrameSerializer and is listening on an external interface (e.g. 0.0.0.0), an attacker on the network (or the internet, if the service is exposed) could achieve remote code execution (RCE) on the server by sending a malicious pickle payload. Version 0.0.94 contains a fix. Users of Pipecat should avoid or replace unsafe deserialization and improve network security configuration. The best mitigation is to stop using the vulnerable LivekitFrameSerializer altogether. Those who require LiveKit functionality should upgrade to the latest Pipecat version and switch to the recommended `LiveKitTransport` or another secure method provided by the framework. Additionally, always follow secure coding practices: never trust client-supplied data, and avoid Python pickle (or similar unsafe deserialization) in network-facing components. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-62253 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Homer is open source telecom observability software. Prior to version 11.0.283, both JWT middleware functions (`JWTMiddleware` and `JWTMiddlewareV4`) immediately return `next(c)` when `jwtSecret == ""`. The JWT secret defaults to an empty string. On a default installation, all protected API endpoints under `/api/v1`, `/api/v3`, and `/api/v4` are completely unauthenticated. Version 11.0.283 patches the issue. 10 Oct
