| CVE-2026-40886 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | argoproj, argo_workflows | Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. From 3.6.5 to 4.0.4, an unchecked array index in the pod informer's podGCFromPod() function causes a controller-wide panic when a workflow pod carries a malformed workflows.argoproj.io/pod-gc-strategy annotation. Because the panic occurs inside an informer goroutine (outside the controller's recover() scope), it crashes the entire controller process. The poisoned pod persists across restarts, causing a crash loop that halts all workflow processing until the pod is manually deleted. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.5 and 3.7.14. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62966 | 7.5 high | — | esp32async, espasyncwebserver | ESPAsyncWebServer is an asynchronous HTTP and WebSocket server library for ESP32, ESP8266, RP2040 and RP2350. Prior to version 3.11.2, the multipart parser in `src/WebRequest.cpp` frees `_itemBuffer` and sets it to NULL when `BOUNDARY_OR_DATA` matches the closing boundary of a file part, before confirming the following terminator, while leaving `_itemIsFile` true. If the next byte is neither the final closing dashes nor a clean CRLF, the `DASH3_OR_RETURN2` or `EXPECT_FEED2` rewind branch re-injects provisionally consumed bytes through `itemWriteByte`. Because `_itemIsFile` remains true, `_itemBuffer`[`_itemBufferIndex`++] writes through a null pointer. On ESP32 this causes a `StoreProhibited` exception, panic and device reboot, producing remote denial of service. A route with a non-trivial body/upload handler, such as a file-upload or web-OTA endpoint, must be present. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.2. | 9 h ago |
| CVE-2026-40395 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | varnish-software, varnish_enterprise | Varnish Enterprise before 6.0.16r12 allows a "workspace overflow" denial of service (daemon panic) for shared VCL. The headerplus.write_req0() function from vmod_headerplus updates the underlying req0, which is normally the original read-only request from which req is derived (readable and writable from VCL). This is useful in the active VCL, after amending req, to prepare a refined req0 before switching to a different VCL with the return (vcl(<label>)) action. This is for example how the Varnish Controller operates shared VCL deployments. If the amended req contained too many header fields for req0, this would have resulted in a workspace overflow that would in turn trigger a panic and crash the Varnish Enterprise server. This could be used as a Denial of Service attack vector by malicious clients. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34063 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | nimiq, nimiq_proof-of-stake | Nimiq's network-libp2p is a Nimiq network implementation based on libp2p. Prior to version 1.3.0, `network-libp2p` discovery uses a libp2p `ConnectionHandler` state machine. the handler assumes there is at most one inbound and one outbound discovery substream per connection. if a remote peer opens/negotiate the discovery protocol substream a second time on the same connection, the handler hits a `panic!(\"Inbound already connected\")` / `panic!(\"Outbound already connected\")` path instead of failing closed. This causes a remote crash of the networking task (swarm), taking the node's p2p networking offline until restart. The patch for this vulnerability is formally released as part of v1.3.0. No known workarounds are available. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34065 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | nimiq, nimiq_proof-of-stake | nimiq-primitives contains primitives (e.g., block, account, transaction) to be used in Nimiq's Rust implementation. Prior to version 1.3.0, an untrusted p2p peer can cause a node to panic by announcing an election macro block whose `validators` set contains an invalid compressed BLS voting key. Hashing an election macro header hashes `validators` and reaches `Validators::voting_keys()`, which calls `validator.voting_key.uncompress().unwrap()` and panics on invalid bytes. The patch for this vulnerability is included as part of v1.3.0. No known workarounds are available. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42285 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | osrg, gobgp | GoBGP is an open source Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) implementation in the Go Programming Language. In version 4.4.0, an unauthenticated remote BGP peer can trigger a fatal panic in GoBGP by sending a specially crafted BGP UPDATE message. When the server receives a message with inconsistent attribute lengths, it improperly handles the internal state transition to a "withdraw" action, leading to a nil pointer dereference in the AdjRib.Update function. This causes the entire GoBGP process to crash, resulting in a complete loss of service availability. This issue has been patched in version 4.5.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40394 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | varnish-software, vinyl-cache, varnish_enterprise, vinyl_cache | Varnish Cache 9 before 9.0.1 and Varnish Enterprise before 6.0.16r11 allows a "workspace overflow" denial of service (daemon panic) for certain amounts of prefetched data. The setup of an HTTP/2 session starts with a speculative HTTP/1 transport, and upon upgrading to h2 the HTTP/1 request is repurposed as stream zero. During the upgrade, a buffer allocation is made to reserve space to send frames to the client. This allocation would split the original workspace, and depending on the amount of prefetched data, the next fetch could perform a pipelining operation that would run out of workspace. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40396 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | vinyl-cache, vinyl_cache | Varnish Cache 9 before 9.0.1 allows a "workspace overflow" denial of service (daemon panic) after timeout_linger. A malicious client could send an HTTP/1 request, wait long enough until the session releases its worker thread (timeout_linger) and resume traffic before the session is closed (timeout_idle) sending more than one request at once to trigger a pipelining operation between requests. This vulnerability affecting Varnish Cache 9.0.0 emerged from a port of the Varnish Enterprise non-blocking architecture for HTTP/2. New code was needed to adapt to a more recent workspace API that formalizes the pipelining operation. In addition to the workspace change on the Varnish Cache side, other differences created merge conflicts, like partial support for trailers in Varnish Enterprise. The conflict resolution missed one code path configuring pipelining to perform a complete workspace rollback, losing the guarantee that prefetched data would fit inside workspace_client during the transition from one request to the next. This can result in a workspace overflow, triggering a panic and crashing the Varnish server. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40890 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | gomarkdown, markdown | The package `github.com/gomarkdown/markdown` is a Go library for parsing Markdown text and rendering as HTML. Processing a malformed input containing a < character that is not followed by a > character anywhere in the remaining text with a SmartypantsRenderer will lead to Out of Bounds read or a panic. This vulnerability is fixed with commit 759bbc3e32073c3bc4e25969c132fc520eda2778. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102941 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The package github.com/gomarkdown/markdown is a Go library for parsing Markdown text and rendering as HTML. Prior to 0.0.0-20260724235538-61af6e1e6971, parser.IsSafeURL in parser/parser.go slices url[:nPath] before the len(url) >= nPath guard. A short destination causes a slice-bounds panic when the loop reaches a relative-path prefix for which len(url) < nPath and cap(url) < nPath. The one-byte destination / is an explicit non-panic counterexample because it matches the first valid path and returns before a longer prefix is sliced. Demonstrated panic cases include empty, ., and .. destinations under those conditions. The panic is reachable when markdown.ToHTML renders untrusted Markdown with html.Safelink enabled, including an empty link destination, and is also reachable by callers that pass a short attacker-controlled URL directly to the exported parser.IsSafeURL function. An uncaught panic can terminate the calling process and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in 0.0.0-20260724235538-61af6e1e6971. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-115907 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 5.1.0 until 9.0.0, applications built with the legacy-zip feature can reserve output capacity from an attacker-controlled ZIP64 uncompressed size before validating the compressed stream. The ShrinkDecoder path in src/legacy/shrink.rs can panic with a capacity overflow during ZipArchive::extract, and the Reduce and Implode decoders contain the same unbounded preallocation pattern. An unhandled panic can terminate an archive-processing service. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45090 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Dalfox is a powerful open-source XSS scanner and utility focused on automation. Prior to 2.13.0, ParameterAnalysis in pkg/scanning/parameterAnalysis.go runs two sequential worker stages that both write to the same results channel. The channel is correctly closed after the first stage completes (close(results) at line 438), but the second stage — which processes POST-body parameters (dp) — is then launched with the same already-closed channel as its output. When a scanned parameter is reflected, processParams executes results <- paramResult on the closed channel, triggering a Go runtime panic that crashes the entire dalfox process. In server mode, the crash is remotely triggerable by any unauthenticated caller who can reach the REST API, because the default configuration has no API key and the second stage activates whenever options.Data != "" (i.e., the attacker supplies the data field) and the target reflects at least one parameter. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-52878 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Versions 1.7.14 through 1.7.17 are vulnerable to a nil-pointer panic triggered by a protobuf Transaction whose embedded RawData sub-message is omitted. This omission causes RawData to decode to nil. Every transaction gossiped on the Klever-Go P2P network is decoded and validated synchronously inside the libp2p pubsub topic-validator callback, where txVersionChecker.CheckTxVersion dereferences tx.RawData.Version with no nil check. Because the libp2p pubsub callback, the underlying go-libp2p-pubsub validation worker, and Klever's own network/p2p layer install no recover(), the panic propagates and crashes the entire node process. The attacker payload is a 3-byte protobuf message; no validator key, stake, funds, or on-chain account is required, and delivery aimed at enough of the BLS validator set can halt block production, resulting in a chain halt. This issue has been fixed in version 1.7.18. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-99081 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: fix DMA mapping length for padded small packets Stefan Fleischmann reported Intel IOMMU DMA Read faults on BCM57412 NetXtreme-E NICs when transmitting packets on VLAN/macvlan interfaces: DMAR: [DMA Read NO_PASID] Request device [18:00.0] fault addr 0xfc499000 [fault reason 0x06] PTE Read access is not set bnxt_en 0000:18:00.0 eno1np0: Abandoning msg {0xb4 0x41a} len: 0 due to firmware status: 0x2000001 ... NETDEV WATCHDOG: eno1np0 (bnxt_en): transmit queue 0 timed out The fault address (0xfc499000) is on an exact 4KB page boundary, pointing to a DMA read buffer overrun. In bnxt_start_xmit(), packets smaller than BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE (52 bytes), such as 42-byte untagged ARP frames, are padded: if (length < BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE) { pad = BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE - length; if (skb_pad(skb, pad)) goto tx_kick_pending; length = BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE; } mapping = dma_map_single(&pdev->dev, skb->data, len, DMA_TO_DEVICE); ... dma_unmap_len_set(tx_buf, len, len); However, 'len' was initialized earlier to skb_headlen(skb) (e.g. 42 bytes) and is left unadjusted after padding. Consequently, dma_map_single() and dma_unmap_len_set() map and track only 42 bytes. Later, the hardware TX buffer descriptor is programmed with the padded length: txbd->tx_bd_len_flags_type = cpu_to_le32(((len + pad) << TX_BD_LEN_SHIFT) | flags | TX_BD_FLAGS_PACKET_END); The NIC DMA engine is thus instructed to read 52 bytes from a region where only 42 bytes were DMA-mapped. If skb->data ends near the boundary of a 4KB page (within 'pad' bytes of the next page), the hardware DMA read overruns into the unmapped adjacent page, triggering an IOMMU fault. This issue was exposed after commit 447cbe95ebb9 ("vlan: fix skb_under_panic and races when toggling HW VLAN offload") because reserving extra VLAN headroom rounded LL_RESERVED_SPACE from 48 up to 64 bytes, shifting skb->data offsets and potentially causing small frames to land right against page boundaries. Fix this by using skb_put_padto(skb, BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE) in bnxt_start_xmit(), before skb_shinfo(skb)->nr_frags is sampled, because padding might linearize the skb. This ensures skb->len and skb_headlen(skb) reflect the padded size so that dma_map_single() maps the full buffer and the descriptor length is consistent. This also removes the temporary 'pad' variable and masking logic. The padding is done after the SW USO branch, otherwise bnxt_sw_udp_gso_xmit() would account the padding as UDP payload and send it in extra segments. Note that SW USO segments are still not padded: with IPv4, a segment carrying less than 10 bytes of UDP payload (small gso_size, or a short last segment) is sent as a frame shorter than BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE. This is a separate issue, left for a followup patch. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53069 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net, bpf: fix null-ptr-deref in xdp_master_redirect() for down master syzkaller reported a kernel panic in bond_rr_gen_slave_id() reached via xdp_master_redirect(). Full decoded trace: https://syzkaller.appspot.com/bug?extid=80e046b8da2820b6ba73 bond_rr_gen_slave_id() dereferences bond->rr_tx_counter, a per-CPU counter that bonding only allocates in bond_open() when the mode is round-robin. If the bond device was never brought up, rr_tx_counter stays NULL. The XDP redirect path can still reach that code on a bond that was never opened: bpf_master_redirect_enabled_key is a global static key, so as soon as any bond device has native XDP attached, the XDP_TX -> xdp_master_redirect() interception is enabled for every slave system-wide. The path xdp_master_redirect() -> bond_xdp_get_xmit_slave() -> bond_xdp_xmit_roundrobin_slave_get() -> bond_rr_gen_slave_id() then runs against a bond that has no rr_tx_counter and crashes. Fix this in the generic xdp_master_redirect() by refusing to call into the master's ->ndo_xdp_get_xmit_slave() when the master device is not up. IFF_UP is only set after ->ndo_open() has successfully returned, so this reliably excludes masters whose XDP state has not been fully initialized. Drop the frame with XDP_ABORTED so the exception is visible via trace_xdp_exception() rather than silently falling through. This is not specific to bonding: any current or future master that defers XDP state allocation to ->ndo_open() is protected. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-31600 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: mm: Handle invalid large leaf mappings correctly It has been possible for a long time to mark ptes in the linear map as invalid. This is done for secretmem, kfence, realm dma memory un/share, and others, by simply clearing the PTE_VALID bit. But until commit a166563e7ec37 ("arm64: mm: support large block mapping when rodata=full") large leaf mappings were never made invalid in this way. | CVE-2025-62162 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | cel-rust is a Common Expression Language interpreter written in Rust. Starting in version 0.10.0 and prior to version 0.11.4, parsing certain malformed CEL expressions can cause the parser to panic, terminating the process. When the crate is used to evaluate untrusted expressions (e.g., user-supplied input over an API), an attacker can send crafted input to trigger a denial of service (DoS). Version 0.11.4 fixes the issue. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98050 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mlxsw: spectrum_ptp: Fix napi_gro_receive() call from GC workqueue context Currently mlxsw_sp1_ptp_ht_gc_collect() is run from the PTP garbage-collection workqueue, rather than the NAPI poll context. For any unmatched PTP entries carrying an SKB, it calls mlxsw_sp1_ptp_unmatched_finish() -> mlxsw_sp1_ptp_packet_finish(). For ingress packets, this calls mlxsw_sp_rx_listener_no_mark_func(). The end of that function is the following: skb->protocol = eth_type_trans(skb, skb->dev); napi_gro_receive(mlxsw_skb_cb(skb)->rx_md_info.napi, skb); The napi pointer is one that was placed in the SKB control block when the trapped packet was received in the NAPI context. Later, when the GC reaps the unmatched entry (up to MLXSW_SP1_PTP_HT_GC_TIMEOUT later), the call to napi_gro_receive() mutates the NAPI instance's GRO list, which is unsafe if the poll is running concurrently on another CPU. In mlxsw_sp1_ptp_ht_gc_collect(), local_bh_disable() is called to prevent softirq processing, but this only applies to the local CPU. Additionally, its comment is stale. It states that mlxsw_sp1_ptp_unmatched_finish() invokes netif_receive_skb(). This has not been accurate since the referenced commit; this patch makes that comment accurate again. mlxsw_pci_napi_devs_init() calls netif_threaded_enable() on the NAPI RX net_device without any conditions. The NAPI instance's poll, which may be running concurrent to the GC, is running as an independently-scheduled kthread which may be on a different CPU. The call to local_bh_disable() does not guard against this. If a tx-timestamp timeout produces an unmatched entry (which can be easily reproduced by running ptp4l and waiting for a port to reach the UNCALIBRATED/SLAVE state) while the owning NAPI thread is in the middle of a poll on another CPU, both sides mutate the GRO list concurrently, as shown below: [39.846] port 1 (swp1): MASTER to UNCALIBRATED on RS_SLAVE list_add corruption. next->prev should be prev (ffff8d620faf4138), but was ffff8d624150f700. This patch adds an ingress-delivery helper for the PTP packet_finish() path that calls netif_receive_skb() instead of napi_gro_receive(). netif_receive_skb(), unlike napi_gro_receive(), can be called from outside of the NAPI instance's poll context, which can occur at the call site for this path. RX stats accounting and the skb->dev assignment are still preserved; the only change is the delivery call itself. This removes GR ---truncated--- | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2022-50700 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath10k: Delay the unmapping of the buffer On WCN3990, we are seeing a rare scenario where copy engine hardware is sending a copy complete interrupt to the host driver while still processing the buffer that the driver has sent, this is leading into an SMMU fault triggering kernel panic. This is happening on copy engine channel 3 (CE3) where the driver normally enqueues WMI commands to the firmware. Upon receiving a copy complete interrupt, host driver will immediately unmap and frees the buffer presuming that hardware has processed the buffer. In the issue case, upon receiving copy complete interrupt, host driver will unmap and free the buffer but since hardware is still accessing the buffer (which in this case got unmapped in parallel), SMMU hardware will trigger an SMMU fault resulting in a kernel panic. In order to avoid this, as a work around, add a delay before unmapping the copy engine source DMA buffer. This is conditionally done for WCN3990 and only for the CE3 channel where issue is seen. | CVE-2026-100353 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. From 0.136.0 until 0.149.0, three openapi3filter decoder paths that were missed by the fix for GHSA-p6wj-qrr4-pgh5 lack a nil-items guard for legal OpenAPI 3.1 array schemas. An unauthenticated remote client can trigger a deterministic nil-pointer panic through an array query parameter, a deepObject query parameter containing an array property, or an application/x-www-form-urlencoded request body whose array property appears inside an allOf, anyOf, or oneOf subschema. The query and composed-body paths reach urlValuesDecoder.parseArray, while the deepObject path reaches buildResObj, and all pass a nil items schema into code that dereferences it. This issue is fixed in version 0.149.0. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44316 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | free5gc | free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. Prior to 4.2.2, free5GC's PCF POST /npcf-smpolicycontrol/v1/sm-policies handler (HandleCreateSmPolicyRequest) panics with a nil-pointer dereference when a downstream OpenAPI consumer call (UDR lookup) returns 404 Not Found and the consumer wrapper returns err != nil together with a nil response struct. The handler logs the OpenAPI error and continues executing instead of returning, then dereferences the nil response struct on a subsequent line and panics. Gin recovery converts the panic into HTTP 500, so a single attacker-shaped POST returns 500 instead of a clean 4xx whenever the downstream lookup fails. The PCF process keeps running. The trigger is a single POST containing input that causes the downstream UDR lookup to fail (e.g. an unknown DNN). In 4.2.1 this endpoint is also reachable WITHOUT an Authorization header because the PCF Npcf_SMPolicyControl route group is mounted without inbound auth middleware. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.2. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44322 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | free5gc | free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. Prior to 4.2.2, free5GC's NEF PATCH /3gpp-pfd-management/v1/{afId}/transactions/{transId}/applications/{appId} handler panics with a nil-pointer dereference when the upstream UDR call fails AND the consumer wrapper returns err != nil together with a nil *ProblemDetails. The handler's errPfdData != nil branch builds its own problemDetailsErr correctly, but immediately after it reads problemDetails.Cause (the OTHER value, which is nil in this branch) and panics. Gin recovery converts the panic into HTTP 500, so a single PATCH against this endpoint returns 500 instead of the intended controlled error response whenever UDR access is failing. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.2. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44325 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | free5gc | free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. Prior to 4.2.2, free5GC's NRF root SBI endpoint POST /oauth2/token contains a parser-level type-confusion bug family. The handler in NFs/nrf/internal/sbi/api_accesstoken.go reflects over models.NrfAccessTokenAccessTokenReq, special-cases only plain string and NrfNfManagementNfType fields, and treats every other field as if it were a single models.PlmnId. The parsed *models.PlmnId is then assigned with reflect.Value.Set() to whichever field name the attacker put in the form body, which panics whenever the destination field's real type is incompatible (slice, different struct, primitive). Gin recovery converts each panic into HTTP 500, but the endpoint remains remotely panicable from a single unauthenticated form-encoded request and is repeatedly triggerable. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.2. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-96399 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | gitea | A repository's external issue tracker regular expression containing alternating capture groups could produce invalid slice indexes when Gitea rendered issue references, causing a runtime panic that terminated the Gitea process. A user who can edit a repository's external issue tracker settings could make any later rendering of matching content, such as viewing a README, crash the instance for all users. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107215 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | excelize | Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.3.1 to 2.11.0, extractPart allocates a byte slice directly from an attacker-controlled CFB directory-entry size before validating the sector chain or size domain. extractPart trusts the CFB directory entry streamSize for EncryptionInfo and EncryptedPackage allocations before validating the stream. When a crafted OLE compound file declares a negative or extremely large EncryptionInfo or EncryptedPackage stream size, the declared size reaches make with a negative length or forces a multi-gigabyte allocation, allowing an attacker to panic or exhaust process memory. No fixed version is available as of this review. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107217 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | excelize | Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.0.0 to 2.11.0 in github.com/xuri/excelize/v2 and from 1.1.0 to 1.4.1 in github.com/xuri/excelize, ColumnNameToNumber accumulates a bijective base-26 value in int64 without detecting overflow, allowing an invalid long column name to wrap to zero with no error. ColumnNameToNumber accepts the overflowing name VGWQHXLSDVIKWV, after which checkSheetR0 and xlsxWorksheet.checkRow use the wrapped column value as an index. When a crafted worksheet uses an overflowing column name in a row normalized by checkSheetR0 or checkRow, the wrapped zero column becomes a negative slice index during worksheet normalization, allowing an attacker to panic and terminate the calling process. No fixed version is available as of this review. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-68156 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | expr-lang, expr | Expr is an expression language and expression evaluation for Go. Prior to version 1.17.7, several builtin functions in Expr, including `flatten`, `min`, `max`, `mean`, and `median`, perform recursive traversal over user-provided data structures without enforcing a maximum recursion depth. If the evaluation environment contains deeply nested or cyclic data structures, these functions may recurse indefinitely until exceed the Go runtime stack limit. This results in a stack overflow panic, causing the host application to crash. While exploitability depends on whether an attacker can influence or inject cyclic or pathologically deep data into the evaluation environment, this behavior represents a denial-of-service (DoS) risk and affects overall library robustness. Instead of returning a recoverable evaluation error, the process may terminate unexpectedly. In affected versions, evaluation of expressions that invoke certain builtin functions on untrusted or insufficiently validated data structures can lead to a process-level crash due to stack exhaustion. This issue is most relevant in scenarios where Expr is used to evaluate expressions against externally supplied or dynamically constructed environments; cyclic references (directly or indirectly) can be introduced into arrays, maps, or structs; and there are no application-level safeguards preventing deeply nested input data. In typical use cases with controlled, acyclic data, the issue may not manifest. However, when present, the resulting panic can be used to reliably crash the application, constituting a denial of service. The issue has been fixed in the v1.17.7 versions of Expr. The patch introduces a maximum recursion depth limit for affected builtin functions. When this limit is exceeded, evaluation aborts gracefully and returns a descriptive error instead of panicking. Additionally, the maximum depth can be customized by users via `builtin.MaxDepth`, allowing applications with legitimate deep structures to raise the limit in a controlled manner. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the patched release, which includes both the recursion guard and comprehensive test coverage to prevent regressions. For users who cannot immediately upgrade, some mitigations are recommended. Ensure that evaluation environments cannot contain cyclic references, validate or sanitize externally supplied data structures before passing them to Expr, and/or wrap expression evaluation with panic recovery to prevent a full process crash (as a last-resort defensive measure). These workarounds reduce risk but do not fully eliminate the issue without the patch. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65563 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | opennetworking, upf | A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the omec-project UPF (component upf-epc/pfcpiface) up to at least version upf-epc-pfcpiface:2.1.3-dev. When the UPF receives a PFCP Association Setup Request that is missing the mandatory NodeID Information Element, the association setup handler dereferences a nil pointer instead of validating the message, causing a panic and terminating the UPF process. An attacker who can send PFCP Association Setup Request messages to the UPF's N4/PFCP endpoint can exploit this issue to repeatedly crash the UPF and disrupt user-plane services. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65564 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | opennetworking, upf | A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the omec-upf (upf-epc-pfcpiface) in version upf-epc-pfcpiface:2.1.3-dev. When the UPF receives a PFCP Association Setup Request that is missing the mandatory Recovery Time Stamp Information Element, the association setup handler dereferences a nil pointer via IE.RecoveryTimeStamp() instead of validating the message. This results in a panic and terminates the UPF process. An attacker who can send PFCP Association Setup Request messages to the UPF's N4/PFCP endpoint can exploit this issue to repeatedly crash the UPF and disrupt user-plane services. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65565 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | opennetworking, upf | A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the omec-project UPF (pfcpiface component) in version upf-epc-pfcpiface:2.1.3-dev. After PFCP association is established, a PFCP Session Establishment Request that is missing the mandatory F-SEID (CPF-SEID) Information Element is not properly validated. The session establishment handler calls IE.FSEID() on a nil pointer, which triggers a panic and terminates the UPF process. An attacker who can send PFCP Session Establishment Request messages to the UPF's N4/PFCP endpoint can exploit this issue to repeatedly crash the UPF and disrupt user-plane services. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65567 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | opennetworking, upf | A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the omec-project UPF (pfcpiface component) in version upf-epc-pfcpiface:2.1.3-dev. After PFCP association, a specially crafted PFCP Session Establishment Request with a CreatePDR that contains a malformed Flow-Description is not robustly validated. The Flow-Description parser (parseFlowDesc) can read beyond the bounds of the provided buffer, causing a panic and terminating the UPF process. An attacker who can send PFCP Session Establishment Request messages to the UPF's N4/PFCP endpoint can exploit this issue to repeatedly crash the UPF. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65568 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | opennetworking, upf | A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the omec-project UPF (pfcpiface component) in version upf-epc-pfcpiface:2.1.3-dev. After PFCP association, a PFCP Session Establishment Request that includes a CreateFAR with an empty or truncated IPv4 address field is not properly validated. During parsing, parseFAR() calls ip2int(), which performs an out-of-bounds read on the IPv4 address buffer and triggers an index-out-of-range panic. An attacker who can send PFCP Session Establishment Request messages to the UPF's N4/PFCP endpoint can exploit this issue to repeatedly crash the UPF and disrupt user-plane services. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65566 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | linuxfoundation, upf | A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the omec-project UPF (pfcpiface component) in version upf-epc-pfcpiface:2.1.3-dev. When the UPF receives a PFCP Session Report Response that is missing the mandatory Cause Information Element, the session report handler dereferences a nil pointer instead of rejecting the malformed message. This triggers a panic and terminates the UPF process. An attacker who can send PFCP Session Report Response messages to the UPF's N4/PFCP endpoint can exploit this flaw to repeatedly crash the UPF and disrupt user-plane services. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56851 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Nickname profile can panic with an out-of-bounds slice error when transforming crafted input into a short destination buffer. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62370 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Alloy Core libraries at the root of the Rust Ethereum ecosystem. Prior to 0.8.26 and 1.4.1, an uncaught panic triggered by malformed input to alloy_dyn_abi::TypedData could lead to a denial-of-service (DoS) via eip712_signing_hash(). Software with high availability requirements such as network services may be particularly impacted. If in use, external auto-restarting mechanisms can partially mitigate the availability issues unless repeated attacks are possible. The vulnerability was patched by adding a check to ensure the element is not empty before accessing its first element; an error is returned if it is empty. The fix is included in version v1.4.1 and backported to v0.8.26. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-58188 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | golang, go | Validating certificate chains which contain DSA public keys can cause programs to panic, due to a interface cast that assumes they implement the Equal method. This affects programs which validate arbitrary certificate chains. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-90229 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-apple: Destroy the admin queue on removal The admin queue is allocated with blk_mq_alloc_queue() but never destroyed. nvme_free_ctrl() only drops the last reference and blk_mq_exit_queue() and blk_sync_queue() never run: the hctx is never moved to q->unused_hctx_list and the timeout timer and work stay armed on a queue that is about to be freed which will eventually oops inside blk_mq_timeout_work(). This can only be triggered when the controller fails to come up and is then immediately torn down again which is why no one ever ran into this before. Let's just copy what the pcie driver does: unquiesce and destroy the admin queue before nvme_uninit_ctrl(). | CVE-2026-53996 | 7.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NetBSD's hdaudio(4) driver in sys/dev/hdaudio/hdaudio.c contains a missing access control vulnerability that allows unprivileged local attackers to invoke the HDAUDIO_FGRP_SETCONFIG ioctl without elevated permissions by exploiting the absence of an access check on /dev/hdaudioN device nodes. Attackers can repeatedly issue HDAUDIO_FGRP_SETCONFIG from one thread while keeping DMA and IRQs live from a second thread to trigger a use-after-free race condition in hdafg_detach() between stream_stop() and stream_disestablish(), where a latched DMA interrupt dereferences a freed callback pointer, resulting in outcomes ranging from audio-subsystem denial of service and kernel panic to potential local kernel privilege escalation. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-74726 | 7.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: alb: re-check primary_is_promisc under RTNL in bond_alb_monitor bond_alb_monitor() reads primary_is_promisc under RCU, then drops RCU and takes RTNL via rtnl_trylock() before undoing the promiscuity it set on the active slave. In that window the active slave can change under RTNL (RTM_DELLINK -> __bond_release_one() -> bond_alb_handle_active_change()), which already drops the promiscuity and clears primary_is_promisc. The monitor still acts on the stale decision: if the slave was removed with no failover, curr_active_slave is now NULL and the deref faults; if it failed over, the stale dev_set_promiscuity(-1) underflows the new slave's promiscuity counter and pins it in IFF_PROMISC. Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address ... | CVE-2026-40251 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | linuxcontainers, incus | Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. In versions before 7.0.0, missing validation logic in the storage volume import logic allows an authenticated user with access to the storage volume feature to cause the Incus daemon to crash. The backup restore subsystem contains an out-of-bounds panic vulnerability caused by an invalid bounds check when indexing snapshot metadata arrays, and the same flawed pattern also appears in the migration path. When iterating through physical snapshots provided in a backup archive, the loop uses the index to look up corresponding metadata in the parsed `Config.Snapshots` and `Config.VolumeSnapshots` slices. The guard condition `len(slice) >= i-1` is incorrect because it can still evaluate to true when the subsequent slice[i] access is out of bounds. An attacker can submit a backup archive that contains physical snapshot directories while supplying a tampered `index.yaml` with an empty or truncated snapshot metadata array, causing the daemon to index beyond the end of the metadata slice and crash. Repeated use of this issue can be used to keep Incus offline, causing a denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-68293 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix MCIA register buffer overflow on 32 dword reads The MCIA register can return up to 32 dwords (128 bytes) when the device advertises the mcia_32dwords capability, but struct mlx5_ifc_mcia_reg_bits only defines dword_0..11, leaving room for just 12 dwords (48 bytes) of data. mlx5_query_mcia() clamps the read size to mlx5_mcia_max_bytes() and then memcpy()s that many bytes out of the register, potentially reading past the end of the 'out' buffer. | CVE-2026-53187 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Validate cpu_id against nr_cpu_ids in DMAH alloc The cpu_id attribute supplied by user space through UVERBS_ATTR_ALLOC_DMAH_CPU_ID is passed directly to cpumask_test_cpu() without first verifying that the value is within the valid CPU range. Passing such untrusted data to cpumask_test_cpu() may lead to an out-of-bounds read of the underlying cpumask bitmap: the helper expands to a test_bit() that indexes the bitmap by cpu_id / BITS_PER_LONG with no bound check. In addition, on kernels built with CONFIG_DEBUG_PER_CPU_MAPS it trips the WARN_ON_ONCE() in cpumask_check(); combined with panic_on_warn this turns a bad user input into a machine reboot. Reject any cpu_id that is not smaller than nr_cpu_ids with -EINVAL before it is used. Reported by Smatch. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46149 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: configfs: Bound snprintf() return in tg_pt_gp_members_show() target_tg_pt_gp_members_show() formats LUN paths with snprintf() into a 256-byte stack buffer, then will memcpy() cur_len bytes from that buffer. snprintf() returns the length the output would have had, which can exceed the buffer size when the fabric WWN is long because iSCSI IQN names can be up to 223 bytes. The check at the memcpy() site only guards the destination page write, not the source read, so memcpy() will read past the stack buffer and copy adjacent stack contents to the sysfs reader, which when CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE is enabled, fortify_panic() will be triggered. Commit 27e06650a5ea ("scsi: target: target_core_configfs: Add length check to avoid buffer overflow") added the same bound to the target_lu_gp_members_show() but the tg_pt_gp variant was missed so resolve that here. | 19 Oct |
