CVE-2025-55308 6.7 medium 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. A crafted PDF containing JavaScript that calls closeDoc() while internal objects are still in use can cause premature release of these objects. This use-after-free vulnerability may lead to memory corruption, potentially resulting in information disclosure when the PDF is opened. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-55309 6.7 medium 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows and macOS before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. A crafted PDF can contain JavaScript that attaches an OnBlur action on a form field that destroys an annotation. During user right-click interaction, the program's internal focus change handling prematurely releases the annotation object, resulting in a use-after-free vulnerability that may cause memory corruption or application crashes. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-113486 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Media Library Assistant WordPress plugin before 3.42 does not verify a CSRF nonce on its Empty Trash media action, so a forged cross-site request can cause a logged-in user with the Editor role or above to permanently delete every trashed attachment on the site. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-42610 6.5 medium 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, a low-privileged user (EX: Content Editor with only pages.update permissions) can bypass the existing Twig sandbox restrictions by utilizing the grav['accounts'] service. Attacker can programmatically load administrative user objects and extract sensitive data, including Bcrypt password hashes and the security salt. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-115955 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in bPlugins Advanced Post Block - Post Grid for WordPress block editor advanced-post-block allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Advanced Post Block - Post Grid for WordPress block editor: from n/a through 2.5.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-28380 6.5 medium 0.00% grafana Any Editor could delete any snapshot, even if they have no access to read or write them. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-58266 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Anki is a program for creating and reviewing flashcards. Prior to 25.09.4, Anki's webview-based pages communicate with the Rust backend using an internal localhost API, and user scripts included via iframes in the editor can access this API despite protections intended to block reviewer and editor scripts. A malicious imported card package with an embedded iframe can use exposed API methods such as getImageForOcclusion to read arbitrary files accessible to the Anki process and exfiltrate them over the network. This issue is fixed in version 25.09.4. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-44735 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OpenProject is open-source, web-based project management software. Prior to 17.3.2 and 17.4.0, the GET /api/v3/shares endpoint returns share details for ALL work packages in a project to any user with the view_shared_work_packages permission. The authorization check operates at the project level only — it does not verify the requesting user can actually view each individual shared work package. This allows a regular project member to discover work package IDs and subjects (including confidential titles), which users have been granted shared access, what role level was assigned (Editor, Commenter, Viewer). This vulnerability is fixed in 17.3.2 and 17.4.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-45139 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based content management system skeleton. Prior to version 0.31.9.0, the Fileeditor module enforces an extension allowlist (`['css','js','html','txt','json','sql','md']`) on content-write operations (`saveFile`, `createFile`), but two destructive endpoints — `deleteFileOrFolder` and `renameFile` — never validate the extension of the *source* path. A backend user with file-editor permissions can therefore unlink or rename any file inside the project root that is not explicitly listed in the small `$hiddenItems` blocklist. Critical framework files such as `app/Config/Routes.php`, `app/Config/App.php`, `app/Config/Database.php`, `app/Config/Filters.php`, `public/index.php`, and `public/.htaccess` all live outside that blocklist and can be destroyed, producing a persistent denial of service that requires filesystem-level redeployment to recover. Version 0.31.9.0 patches the issue. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-63669 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 4.32.0, the page module's move() operation fails to enforce the destination parent's _create permission because its oldParent archive condition disables the check for ordinary moves, allowing an authenticated editor or contributor to use _targetId and _position through the page REST update endpoint to move a controlled page into a restricted subtree and make nudgeNewPeers() updateMany re-rank protected sibling pages. This issue is fixed in version 4.32.0. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-113649 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.1 of the import-export module and 4.34.0 of core ApostropheCMS, an editor who can import an enabled content type but lacks its stronger publication role can cause import write helpers to create, replace, or remove published variants without the normal publish permission and lifecycle checks. This issue is fixed in import-export 3.7.1 and ApostropheCMS 4.34.0. 23 Oct
CVE-2025-55311 6.5 medium 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows and macOS before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. A crafted PDF can use JavaScript to alter annotation content and subsequently clear the file's modification status via JavaScript interfaces. This circumvents digital signature verification by hiding document modifications, allowing an attacker to mislead users about the document's integrity and compromise the trustworthiness of signed PDFs. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-58232 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Ickata Image Editor by Pixo image-editor-by-pixo allows DOM-Based XSS.This issue affects Image Editor by Pixo: from n/a through <= 2.3.8. 11 Oct
CVE-2025-59581 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Missing Authorization vulnerability in VW THEMES Ibtana ibtana-visual-editor allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects Ibtana: from n/a through <= 1.2.5.3. 11 Oct
CVE-2025-60102 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Syam Mohan WPFront User Role Editor wpfront-user-role-editor allows Stored XSS.This issue affects WPFront User Role Editor: from n/a through <= 4.2.3. 11 Oct
CVE-2026-96653 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The WP Directory Kit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via 'display_name' Profile Field (Second-Order) in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.9 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is a second-order injection: a Subscriber stores a display_name containing a single quote via their own profile, which WordPress preserves verbatim; the payload is then triggered when WdkCachedUserEditor::update_listings_user_editor() re-reads that stored value and passes it unsanitized to the SQL sink. 11 Oct
CVE-2025-48096 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Missing Authorization vulnerability in FRESHFACE Custom CSS custom-css-editor allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects Custom CSS: from n/a through <= 1.4.0. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-111727 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Appointment Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'vs_text_submitbtn' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.05 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to be assigned as a calendar owner, a per-user grant that any administrator can extend to users as low as Subscriber level through the plugin's calendar list screen. Exploitation by attackers with subscriber-level access and above requires that an administrator has assigned the attacker's account as owner (`conwer`) of a calendar via the plugin's calendar list screen; the plugin's UI lists all registered users regardless of role, so a Subscriber can be assigned. On a default installation, where that is not configured, the vulnerability requires attackers with editor-level access and above. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-109385 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The UiChemy – Convert Figma, Prompts and AI Builds to Elementor, Gutenberg and Bricks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'actions[save_builder][data][elements][...][settings][slot_{N}_link][url]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.3.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected javascript: payload fires on click rather than on page load, making exploitation contingent on a privileged user such as an Editor or Administrator clicking the attacker-crafted link while reviewing or previewing the Contributor's post. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-109975 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Cozy Blocks – Website Builder for WordPress Block Editor | Gutenberg Blocks, Patterns & Templates plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'content (block attribute icon.view / icon.layout / icon.gap)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.27 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Although wp_kses_post is applied on save, it does not neutralize a quote-only attribute-breakout payload containing no '<' character, leaving the block comment and its decoded JSON attributes intact and exploitable at render time. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-109978 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Cozy Blocks – Website Builder for WordPress Block Editor | Gutenberg Blocks, Patterns & Templates plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'productRating.iconColor' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.27 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerable code path is only reached when the productRating option is enabled and the associated WooCommerce product has a non-zero rating. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-4804 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Zakra theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via post meta values in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.0. This is due to the theme registering three post meta fields (zakra_menu_item_color, zakra_menu_item_hover_color, and zakra_menu_item_active_color) with 'show_in_rest' => true and 'auth_callback' => '__return_true', but without any sanitize_callback parameter in the register_post_meta() calls. While the classic editor save path applies sanitize_hex_color() sanitization, the REST API path completely bypasses this protection. The unsanitized meta values are then retrieved via get_post_meta() and concatenated directly into CSS strings that are output through wp_add_inline_style() without any escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the injected page. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-11162 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Spectra Gutenberg Blocks – Website Builder for the Block Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Custom CSS in all versions up to, and including, 2.19.14 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-13054 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's wppb-embed shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 3.14.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-107748 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'display_name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload persists in wp_comments.comment_author independently of the user account, so removing or changing the attacker's display name after the comment is posted does not neutralize the stored script. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-78001 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Post and Page Builder by BoldGrid – Visual Drag and Drop Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Table Designer 'data-label' Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.27.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-97020 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The PO/MO Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'podata' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload is loaded as a replacement .po/.mo translation file via the plugin's own load_textdomain_mofile filter, causing WordPress to serve the attacker-written translation in place of the original core strings. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-104762 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Kadence Blocks — Page Builder Toolkit for Gutenberg Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Block Font Family Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This encoding bypass is only triggered when the "Load Google Fonts Locally" site option (kadence_blocks_font_settings['load_fonts_local']) is enabled, which is not the default configuration. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-75019 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Cozy Blocks – Page Builder for Gutenberg Editor & FSE with 700+ Patterns, 58 Blocks & Templates plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via cozyHoverEffect Block Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload survives wp_kses_post on save because it contains no angle brackets — only a double-quote breakout of the cozyHoverEffect.boxShadow.color attribute value — allowing event-handler injection at the render stage. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-19943 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Gutenverse – WordPress Blocks, Page Builder & Site Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'titleTag' Block Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The malicious titleTag value survives wp_kses_post on save because it is stored inside a block-comment delimiter and the live HTML is only synthesized at render time by do_blocks(), meaning the payload also fires in administrator and editor sessions during post preview. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-21768 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The compose-rich-editor library (v1.0.0-rc14) used in HCL Verse for Android's rich text email composition fails to properly validate all HTML input thereby allowing malicious content to be executed in certain situations. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54756 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Jodit Editor is a WYSIWYG editor with written in pure TypeScript file and image editing capabilities. In versions prior to 4.12.18, Jodit.configure(options) — and the internal ConfigMerge / ConfigProto helpers — merged user-supplied options into the editor configuration without filtering prototype-mutating keys, potentially causing a Prototype Pollution vulnerability. A payload nested under an existing plain-object option such as controls could reach and mutate Object.prototype. Applications that pass user-controlled or partially user-controlled configuration into Jodit.configure() may be vulnerable. This issue was fixed in version 4.12.18. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-16999 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Improper restriction of XML external entity reference vulnerability in Ministry of Justice UYAP Document Editor allows Serialized Data External Linking. This issue affects UYAP Document Editor: from 4.5.17 before 5.4.17. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-112943 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet launch-editor allows users to open files with line numbers in editor from Node.js. Prior to 2.14.2, launch-editor did not escape % on Windows when passing an argument to cmd. When an environment variable contained a malicious value, it was possible that that content to be executed. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.14.2. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-110214 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Snowy 3.6.5 contains a hard-coded HMAC key vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge download signatures for the /dev/file/download endpoint by using the published FILE_DOWNLOAD_SIGN_SECRET constant. Attackers can compute HMAC-SHA256 signatures of guessed file ids offline to download stored files such as avatars, editor images and attachments. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-101935 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Echo Knowledge Base – Documentation, FAQs, Chat & Smart Search plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'new_kb_config' parameter (specifically the article-mobile-break-point-v2 key, among other config keys interpolated into the <style> element) in versions up to, and including, 17.214.0 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in EPKB_Frontend_Editor::fe_preview_config() and EPKB_Articles_Setup: on every knowledge base article page view, when the request supplies epkb_fe_reload_mode=on, an attacker-controlled JSON blob is merged over the stored KB configuration and several values are concatenated directly into a stylesheet emitted inside a literal <style> element without escaping (minify_css() does not strip <, > or /). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user (with Editor-level access or above, holding the manage_categories capability, or an Administrator) into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-33978 6.1 medium 0.00% streetwriters, notesnook_mobile Notesnook is a note-taking app focused on user privacy & ease of use. Prior to version 3.3.17, a stored XSS vulnerability exists in the mobile share / web clip flow because attacker-controlled clip metadata is concatenated into HTML without escaping and then rendered with innerHTML inside the mobile share editor WebView. An attacker can control the shared title metadata (for example through Android/iOS share metadata such as TITLE / SUBJECT, or through link-preview title data) and inject HTML such as </a><img src=x onerror=...>. When the victim opens the Notesnook share flow and selects Web clip, the payload is inserted into the generated HTML and executed in the mobile editor WebView. This issue has been patched in version 3.3.17. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-39336 6.1 medium 0.00% churchcrm ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to 7.1.0, a stored cross-site scripting issue affects the Directory Reports form fields set from config, Person editor defaults rendered into address fields, and external self-registration form defaults. This is primarily an admin-to-admin stored XSS path where writable configuration fields are abused. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-39335 6.1 medium 0.00% churchcrm ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to 7.1.1, there is Stored XSS in group remove control and family editor state/country. This is primarily an admin-to-admin stored XSS path when writable entity fields are abused. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-46642 6.1 medium 0.00% diagrams, drawio draw.io is a configurable diagramming and whiteboarding application. Prior to version 29.7.12, a crafted .drawio file can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the editor's origin when the file is opened. The vulnerability is not in the label sanitizer (which works correctly on the rendering path) but in a feature-detection routine in the Text Format panel that reads the raw cell label and assigns it to a detached element's innerHTML without sanitization. Browsers fire onerror for failed image loads even on detached elements, so an <img src=x onerror=...> payload in any cell label triggers script execution as soon as the cell is selected — which import does automatically. This issue has been patched in version 29.7.12. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54243 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Statamic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to 5.73.24 and 6.20.1, form submission values in src/Forms/Exporters/CsvExporter.php were not neutralized for spreadsheet formula characters when exported to CSV. A submission containing a value beginning with a formula trigger character, such as =, +, -, or @, could be interpreted as a live formula when a Control Panel user opens the export in a spreadsheet application. Form submissions can come from unauthenticated front-end visitors, so the malicious value can be supplied by an anonymous user and is later triggered by an editor opening the export. This issue is fixed in versions 5.73.24 and 6.20.1. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-50771 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Cross Site Scripting vulnerability in Squirro Cognitive Search < 3.14.2 allows a remote attacker to execute arbtirary code via the Email Notification, Create Evaluation Sets and HTML Editor functions. 23 Oct
CVE-2025-13084 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The users endpoint in the groov View API returns a list of all users and associated metadata including their API keys. This endpoint requires an Editor role to access and will display API keys for all users, including Administrators. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-66468 6.1 medium 0.00% aimeos, grapesjs_cms The Aimeos GrapesJS CMS extension provides page editor for creating content pages based on extensible components. Prior to 2021.10.8, 2022.10.8, 2023.10.8, 2024.10.8, and 2025.10.8, Javascript code can be injected by malicious editors for a stored XSS attack if the standard Content Security Policy is disabled. This vulnerability is fixed in 2021.10.8, 2022.10.8, 2023.10.8, 2024.10.8, and 2025.10.8. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-91807 6.1 medium 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in Foxit PDF Editor/Reader’s handling of malformed image soft-mask data. Insufficient validation of the soft-mask data attribute during image parsing may cause an arithmetic underflow, resulting in an out-of-bounds read and application crash. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-91810 6.1 medium 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in Foxit PDF Editor/Reader’s handling of malformed PDF image masks. Inconsistent image metadata may cause incorrect alpha-channel processing during rendering, resulting in an out-of-bounds read and application crash. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-91808 6.1 medium 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in Foxit PDF Editor Reader’s handling of PDF image objects with inconsistent compression metadata. Insufficient validation during image decoding may result in an undersized buffer and an out-of-bounds read during rendering, causing an application crash. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-91796 6.1 medium 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader The interface of Foxit PDF Editor/Reader lacks the permission verification for secure reading mode, which allows specially crafted PDFs to trigger external SMB authentication without any security prompts and thereby leak the hash of the user's credentials. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-62237 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Grav before 2.0.4 contains a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) vulnerability in the regex_replace filter and function, which are allowlisted in the Twig content sandbox. When Twig processing in page content is enabled (security.twig_content.process_enabled: true, disabled by default), an authenticated page editor can supply a catastrophically backtracking PCRE pattern that is passed directly to PHP's preg_replace(), causing unbounded CPU consumption and denial of service to the web server process. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-54615 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.1, LogEntryExtraFormatter builds the HTML shown in the "Extra" column of the activity-log table (/log) and in element history tables. Every branch of LogEntryExtraFormatter::getInternalFormat() runs user-controlled strings through htmlspecialchars() before placing them into the HTML it returns — except the CollectionElementDeleted branch, which interpolates getOldName() (and getCollectionName()) into a sprintf() template with no escaping. The returned string is emitted by LogEntryExtraColumn::render() and inserted as raw HTML into the DataTables cell (the bundle does not escape column output; sibling columns call htmlspecialchars() themselves). CollectionElementDeleted.getOldName() is the name of a deleted collection sub-element — a part Parameter, Attachment, PartLot, Orderdetail, etc. — all freely set by any user with edit rights on the owning element. A low-privileged content editor can therefore store an HTML/script payload as the name of such a sub-element, delete it (which writes the log entry), and have that markup parsed as live DOM in the browser of a higher-privileged victim (an administrator/auditor with system.show_logs, or any user viewing that element's history). This is a stored cross-site-scripting / HTML-injection defect caused by a single missed sanitizer in one sibling branch. CSP policies block inline javascript execution under normal conditions. This issue has been patched in version 2.12.1. 23 Oct
