| CVE-2026-15146 | 5.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | GNU Wget versions < 1.25.0+4f85853f64 do not validate the IP address provided by an FTP PASV response while operating in FTP passive mode. A malicious FTP server, or an HTTP server that redirects to an FTP URL, can exploit this behavior to redirect Wget’s data connection to an arbitrary IP address and port. This allows an attacker to forge server-side requests (SSRF) from the machine running Wget, potentially accessing localhost services or internal network resources. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65626 | 5.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The pure-Erlang RSAES-PKCS1-v1_5 decryption in the jose_jwa_pkcs1 module is a Bleichenbacher padding oracle. eme_pkcs1_decode/2 returns the recovered message when a decrypted block has valid PKCS#1 v1.5 padding (a leading 0x00 0x02, a padding string of at least eight non-zero bytes, and a 0x00 separator) and returns a distinct error result otherwise, and rsaes_pkcs1_decrypt/2 additionally returns {error, {badsize, _}} when the length check fails. The implementation applies no implicit-rejection countermeasure (RFC 8017 §7.2.2): it does not substitute a deterministic pseudo-random plaintext on a padding failure, so a one-bit padding-conformance signal leaks to the caller. Because the underlying modular exponentiation in dp/2 is a raw, non-blinded crypto:mod_pow/3, the padding check also stays distinguishable by timing even when an application normalizes every failure to a single error value. An unauthenticated attacker who knows only the public RSA key and can submit ciphertexts to a decryption endpoint that unwraps RSA1_5 JWE keys (or otherwise calls decrypt_private/3 with rsa_pkcs1_padding) can use this oracle to recover the plaintext of intercepted ciphertexts, such as content-encryption keys and thus the protected message, or to forge signatures, through roughly 10^4 to 10^6 adaptive chosen-ciphertext queries. This issue affects jose: from 1.3.0 before 1.11.13. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-50721 | 5.9 medium | 0.00% | libreswan | Libreswan, via the function RSA_authenticate_hash_signature_raw_rsa(), did not correctly verify the length of the authentication hash when the SIG payload of an IKEv1 packet was encoded using PKCS #1 RSA Encryption as per RFC 2313. A remote attacker can use a variation on the Bleichenbacher attack to forge the SIG payload when small public exponents are being used (e.g., e=3), which could lead to impersonation. Additionally, a remote attacker, by encoding a shorter than expected hash in the SIG payload, could trigger an assertion leading to denial-of-service. The daemon aborts and restarts; continued exploitation causes sustained denial of service. Remote code execution is not possible. X.509 certificate verifications of remote IKE peers are not affected. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-50722 | 5.9 medium | 0.00% | libreswan | Libreswan, via the function RSA_authenticate_hash_signature_pkcs1_1_5_rsa(), did not correctly verify the DER encoding of the ASN.1 digest when the IKEv2 AUTH payload was encoded using RSASSA-PKCS1-v1_5 (RFC 8017). A remote attacker can use a variation on the Bleichenbacher attack to forge the AUTH payload when small public exponents are used (e.g., e=3), leading to impersonation. Additionally, a remote attacker, by encoding a shorter than expected hash in the AUTH payload, could trigger an assertion leading to denial-of-service. The daemon aborts and restarts; continued exploitation causes sustained denial of service. Remote code execution is not possible. X.509 certificate verifications of the remote IKE peer are not affected. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2025-36159 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | ibm, concert | IBM Concert 1.0.0 through 2.0.0 could allow a local user to forge log files to impersonate other users or hide their identity due to improper neutralization of output. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-93628 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An attendee authentication vulnerability in the email calendar processing of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an unauthenticated sender to forge another attendee's response to an existing meeting. Zimbra passes a null sender identity when processing iCalendar REPLY components, causing the attendee authorization filter to be skipped. An attacker who knows the meeting UID, organizer address and attendee address can send a non-outdated reply that changes the attendee's participation status in the organizer's calendar. The change occurs automatically during delivery without organizer or attendee interaction. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103382 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Casso Flow WordPress plugin before 4.2.0 does not properly authenticate incoming bank-transfer payment notifications, as the token used to verify them is empty on a default installation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a notification and mark any pending WooCommerce order as paid, regardless of its payment method. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103332 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Payex Payment Gateway for Woocommerce WordPress plugin through 1.2.10 does not properly verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications, relying on a validation secret that is empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid payment confirmation and mark any order as paid. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103331 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The UniPAY Payment Gateway For WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 2.3 does not properly verify the authenticity of payment notifications, as their signature is checked against a merchant secret that is empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid notification and mark arbitrary orders as paid. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103330 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Sadad QA Payment WordPress plugin through 1.28 does not correctly verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications, as the verification is keyed on a merchant secret that is empty by default and the rest of the signed data is attacker-controlled, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid confirmation and mark orders as paid without payment. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103312 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Payment Integration Wompi WordPress plugin through 4.0.1 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications on a stock install, because the callback's checksum is keyed on a merchant secret that is empty until it is manually configured, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to forge a notification and mark an arbitrary order as paid. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110285 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The WP Stripe Checkout WordPress plugin before 1.2.2.62 does not verify the Stripe webhook signature when no signing secret is configured, which is its default state, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a payment completion notification and create a completed order without paying. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103298 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The CCAvenue Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 3.1 does not verify that a payment-confirmation request genuinely originates from the payment provider, and derives its verification key from a value that is empty on a default install, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a confirmation and mark any WooCommerce order as paid without payment. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103306 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Online Payments with iK Pay Gateway WordPress plugin before 3.0.4 does not properly verify the authenticity of its payment gateway callback on a default installation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a successful payment notification and mark arbitrary orders as paid without any payment being made, and to mark arbitrary unprocessed orders as failed. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103319 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The OPay Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 2.5.5 does not properly verify that payment notifications originate from the payment provider, as the secret used to validate their signature is empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid notification and mark arbitrary orders as paid, cancelled or failed. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49001 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities allow attackers to exploit a user's authenticated session to forge cross-site requests, inducing the execution of unintended operations such as tampering with configuration data. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44256 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | wazuh | Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 4.4.0 until 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta2, api/api/middlewares.py decodes the Basic authentication username before credential validation and passes it to the access logger without neutralizing control characters. api/api/alogging.py interpolates that value into the plain-text API log. An unauthenticated attacker can include carriage returns or line feeds in the username to forge entries, obscure activity, or poison systems that consume the plain-text audit log. The JSON log format is not affected because JSON serialization escapes these characters. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta2. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9537 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Mojo::JWT versions before 1.02 for Perl verify HMAC signatures with a non-constant-time string comparison. The decode() method compares the supplied signature to the recomputed HMAC with Perl's eq operator, which stops at the first differing byte, so the comparison time varies with the number of matching leading bytes. A caller that decodes attacker supplied tokens leaks the expected signature through this timing variation, which can be aggregated over many requests to recover the signature and forge a token. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114394 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Trudesk through 1.2.11 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated users to post content attributed to other users by supplying user-controlled owner IDs. Attackers can set ownerId or owner in postComment, postInternalNote, and ticket create requests to forge administrator-authored comments, internal notes, and tickets on any ticket. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103302 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Payment Gateway for Idram WordPress plugin before 2.1.6 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications, because the merchant credentials used to compute their checksum are empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid payment confirmation and mark arbitrary orders as paid, and to force arbitrary orders into a failed state regardless of the gateway's configuration. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103301 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Payment Gateway for Telcell WordPress plugin before 2.0.5 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications, because the secret used to sign them is empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid notification and mark arbitrary WooCommerce orders as paid. The same handler also marks an attacker-chosen order as failed when given an invalid signature. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103311 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Coinbase Commerce Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 1.4.1 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment webhook notifications, because the shared secret used to validate the request signature is empty by default and nothing rejects an unconfigured secret, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge notifications that mark arbitrary orders as paid or cancel already-paid orders. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-92427 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Coinsnap Bitcoin Crowdfunding WordPress plugin through 1.2.0 does not restrict access to the secret used to authenticate its payment gateway webhook, disclosing it to unauthenticated users and rendering the webhook's signature check ineffective. This allows unauthenticated attackers to forge payment-confirmation notifications and record arbitrary donations as completed, with attacker-chosen amounts, donor names and messages. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-16650 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Charitable WordPress plugin before 1.8.12 does not verify the authenticity of incoming Square payment webhook events in a default configuration, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge webhook notifications that mark donations as paid without any real payment. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103324 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Cardinity Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 3.4.2 does not properly verify the authenticity of the payment notifications it receives, as the secret used to sign them is empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge an approved-payment notification and mark arbitrary orders as paid, or force them to failed. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-88998 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Tickera WordPress plugin before 3.6.0.4 does not correctly verify the integrity of incoming payment notifications, and the validated signature does not cover the order or the amount, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a payment confirmation and mark arbitrary orders as paid without paying. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-105989 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Accept PayPal Payments using Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin before 4.0.7 does not perform any authorization or request-validation checks on one of its AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge the stored transaction status of records and to write the Accept PayPal Payments using Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin before 4.0.7's status metadata onto arbitrary posts. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109178 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | jshERP through 3.6 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in LogController that allows any authenticated user to forge, modify, or delete audit log entries. Low-privilege users can call /log/add, /log/update, /log/delete, and /log/deleteBatch to fabricate entries, rewrite user and IP fields, or erase records to hide activity. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103329 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Super Payments WordPress plugin before 1.43.1 does not properly verify the authenticity of incoming payment webhook notifications, as the signing key used to validate their signature is empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid signature and mark arbitrary WooCommerce orders as paid without payment. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103517 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Airwallex Online Payments Gateway WordPress plugin before 1.36.0 does not verify that an incoming payment notification genuinely comes from the payment provider when no webhook secret has been configured, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge one and mark orders as paid without paying. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63761 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | surrealdb | SurrealDB before 3.1.0 silently substitutes the ES384 algorithm when a JWT access method is configured with ALGORITHM ES512 (DEFINE ACCESS ... TYPE JWT ALGORITHM ES512), because the underlying jsonwebtoken crate (v10.x) has no ES512 variant and the mapping defaults to ES384 without any error, warning, or log message. Users who supply the correct P-521 key for ES512 experience authentication handshake failures due to the curve mismatch with ES384 (which expects P-384), and tokens are rejected by external systems expecting genuine ES512 signatures. The flaw cannot be used to forge tokens or compromise data confidentiality or integrity, as ES384 remains cryptographically strong. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114048 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | WWBN AVideo before 24.0 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in legacy endpoints like playlistStatus.php that bypass the .json.php-only autoCSRFGuard() check. Attackers can lure logged-in users to a page with an auto-submitting form to make private playlists public, remove playlist videos, or forge video suggestions. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62215 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | openclaw | OpenClaw versions before 2026.6.5 contain an authentication bypass vulnerability in HTTP Canvas responses that allows lower-trust callers to forge trusted A2UI actions. Attackers can perform actions requiring stronger authorization by submitting crafted requests through configured input paths, bypassing intended policy checks. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53711 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | MCP Context Forge provides an MCP Admin UI for managing gateway resources. From 0.2.0 until 0.3.1, the Global Prompts feature stores a prompt template without sufficient output encoding before the MCP Admin UI renders it. An authenticated attacker can save markup containing script-capable event handlers, and the code executes when another user views the saved prompt. The stored cross-site scripting can alter the interface, present phishing content, observe keystrokes available to the page, and act with the viewer's browser session. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.1. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53594 | 4.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. FreeScout's `Manage -> Logs -> App Logs` feature uses the bundled `rap2hpoutre/laravel-log-viewer` override to decrypt a user-supplied file identifier and then pass the resolved path to Laravel's download response. Prior to version 1.8.224, the path resolution logic accepts any existing absolute path before applying the intended `storage/logs` restriction. As a result, an attacker who can access the App Logs route and forge a valid Laravel-encrypted `dl` parameter can download arbitrary server-local files readable by the PHP process, not just log files. Version 1.8.224 contains a fix. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118777 | 4.8 medium | — | digitalbazaar, forge | Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the forge.http client stored cookie names and paths from Set-Cookie response headers in ordinary JavaScript objects. A malicious server could use the cookie name __proto__ so that the attacker-controlled cookie path was written as a property on Object.prototype, or use inherited names such as constructor to modify Object. An empty cookie value could use the removal path to delete an inherited Object.prototype property. Applications using forge.http directly or through forge.xhr are affected; applications that do not use forge.http are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | 4 h ago |
| CVE-2026-119201 | 4.8 medium | — | nuxt | Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 4.6.0 until 4.6.3, nuxt dev stores a generated appSecret in <buildDir>/app-secret, by default .nuxt/app-secret, within a directory allowed by Vite's server.fs configuration. A client with direct HTTP access to an exposed development server can fetch the file, use deriveSecret() to compute derived secrets such as the default useSession password, and forge session cookies accepted by that development server. The default localhost binding limits remote exposure, cross-origin browser reads are blocked, production builds and development servers with an explicitly configured appSecret are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.3. | 5 h ago |
| CVE-2026-55422 | 4.6 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | conda-forge is a GitHub organization containing repositories of conda recipes. In commits 85748ad2368a and prior, two React components render externally-sourced strings directly as HTML using dangerouslySetInnerHTML, with no sanitization (the project has no DOMPurify or equivalent dependency). JSON files are produced automatically by the conda-forge autotick bot (regro/cf-scripts) while it processes every conda-forge feedstock and its upstream source artifacts. The error/status strings embed raw output captured from those processes (build logs, patch output, tracebacks). The website renders them verbatim as HTML. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-18799 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Mattermost versions 11.10.x <= 11.10.0, 11.7.x <= 11.7.9, 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5 fail to restrict Slack import account binding to system administrator-initiated imports which allows an authenticated attacker with team admin privileges to force-add existing Mattermost users to their team and forge posts attributed to those users' identities via a crafted Slack export containing target users' email addresses.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00757 | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2025-10752 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The OAuth Single Sign On – SSO (OAuth Client) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 6.26.12. This is due to using a predictable state parameter (base64 encoded app name) without any randomness in the OAuth flow. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to forge OAuth authorization requests and potentially hijack the OAuth flow via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. | 11 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48522 | 4.2 medium | 0.00% | pyjwt_project, pyjwt | PyJWT is a JSON Web Token implementation in Python. Prior to 2.13.0, PyJWKClient passes its uri argument directly to urllib.request.urlopen() which uses Python stdlib's default OpenerDirector registering HTTPHandler, HTTPSHandler, FTPHandler, FileHandler, and DataHandler. There is currently no documented option to restrict which schemes PyJWKClient will fetch. If an application's jku URL ingestion path accepts attacker-influenced URLs (e.g., from JWT header, configuration file, OAuth flow parameter), the attacker can cause PyJWKClient to read arbitrary local files via file:// (SSRF on local filesystem), cause PyJWKClient to attempt FTP / data-URI fetches (broader SSRF surface), or forge tokens that PyJWT verifies as valid. The library does not directly return non-HTTP(S) URI contents to the attacker; the chained "plant a JWKS to forge tokens" scenario described in the original report requires additional application-layer flaws (attacker write access to a filesystem path, untrusted jku derivation) that this fix does not address. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107719 | 4.2 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. Prior to 6.3.4, the fast-jwt createVerifier cache can continue accepting a previously valid, signed JWT after its exp time when caching is enabled and the token has exp but no iat. In src/verifier.js, cacheSet derives the exp cache deadline only when iat is present, so the cache falls back to cacheTTL, and a later cache hit returns the saved payload before verifyToken rechecks expiration. An attacker who can replay the same cached bearer token can extend access until the cache entry expires, but cannot forge a token through this issue. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.4. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47085 | 4.0 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An issue was discovered in cyrus-imapd in Cyrus IMAP through 3.12.2. URLAUTH token forgery can occur via a missing mboxkey. If an attacker knew a folder name on the victim's account for which the victim had never issued an auth URL, they could forge a working URLAUTH token by computing an HMAC-SHA1 value with a predictable key, giving them read access to the mailbox. (URLAUTH is an obscure feature, meaning that the odds of any user actually being susceptible to this attack are very low. Perhaps no public clients use URLAUTH.) | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118775 | 3.7 low | — | digitalbazaar, forge | Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, asn1.oidToDer() in lib/asn1.js did not range-check the first two arcs of an OID. An application that accepted an untrusted OID string, checked or authorized that string, and then encoded it with asn1.oidToDer() could emit DER representing a different, trusted OID from the one that was checked. DER parsing is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118780 | 3.7 low | — | digitalbazaar, forge | Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used pki.verifyCertificateChain(), pki.createCaStore(), duplicate subject names to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge modified the CA store while trying certificates that shared a subject name during pki.verifyCertificateChain(). A failed chain verification could permanently remove trusted CA certificates from the store, causing later valid chains to fail and creating a persistent availability impact for applications that reused the store. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118776 | 3.7 low | — | digitalbazaar, forge | Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used decipher.finish(), CBC and ECB modes, PKCS#7 padding to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge validated only the final byte of PKCS#7 padding during CBC and ECB decryption and accepted zero, oversized, or mismatched padding bytes. Malformed ciphertext could consequently be accepted and up to four plaintext blocks could be silently removed, causing an integrity failure in applications that treated successful decryption as proof of valid padding. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118774 | 3.7 low | — | digitalbazaar, forge | Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used certificate.verify(child), _verifySignature(), lib/x509.js to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge selected RSA padding and RSASSA-PSS parameters from the issuer certificate rather than the child certificate being verified. A child labeled as RSASSA-PSS could therefore be accepted with a PKCS#1 v1.5 signature when the issuer used PKCS#1 v1.5. The signature still had to be produced with the trusted issuer's private key, so this did not permit certificate identity forgery, but it could bypass policies that require a declared signature scheme. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103325 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The TiendaCrypto para WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 1.2.1 does not correctly verify the authenticity of its payment webhook, validating the request signature against a key that is always empty, which allows unauthenticated attackers to forge webhook notifications and mark arbitrary WooCommerce orders as paid on web servers that preserve request header case. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-13758 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | CryptX versions before 0.088_001 for Perl compare AEAD authentication tags in non-constant time in the streaming decrypt_done path. The decrypt_done($tag) form compares it against the computed tag with memNE (memcmp() != 0), which short-circuits on the first differing byte, so its run time depends on the number of matching leading bytes. This affects all five AEAD modes: GCM, CCM, ChaCha20Poly1305, EAX and OCB. The one-shot *_decrypt_verify helpers are unaffected; they verify the tag inside libtomcrypt with a constant-time comparison. The timing difference is a tag-verification oracle. An attacker who can submit many candidate tags for the same nonce, ciphertext and associated data while measuring the timing precisely enough may recover the expected tag byte by byte and forge a message that verifies. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118781 | 2.9 low | — | digitalbazaar, forge | Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used BigInteger.prototype.modInverse(), bnModInverse(), lib/jsbn.js, RSA public exponent e to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's bundled jsbn implementation entered an infinite loop when BigInteger.prototype.modInverse() received a negative value or modulus. An attacker who could control the RSA public exponent passed to key generation, or a direct modInverse() operand, could block the Node.js event loop at full CPU. Parsed DER, PEM, JWK, PKCS#12, X.509, and TLS values are unsigned and cannot trigger this issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | 5 h ago |
