| CVE-2026-35093 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | freedesktop, fedoraproject, libinput, fedora | A flaw was found in libinput. A local attacker who can place a specially crafted Lua bytecode file in certain system or user configuration directories can bypass security restrictions. This allows the attacker to run unauthorized code with the same permissions as the program using libinput, such as a graphical compositor. This could lead to the attacker monitoring keyboard input and sending that information to an external location. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104048 | 8.1 high | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. In trust-enabled identity management environments, SSSD evaluates Host-Based Access Control (HBAC) rules by stripping domain qualifiers and comparing only short usernames. An authenticated user in a trusted domain who shares the same username as an authorized local account can bypass access policies and gain unauthorized access to protected services or hosts. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2024-26988 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, fedora | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: init/main.c: Fix potential static_command_line memory overflow We allocate memory of size 'xlen + strlen(boot_command_line) + 1' for static_command_line, but the strings copied into static_command_line are extra_command_line and command_line, rather than extra_command_line and boot_command_line. When strlen(command_line) > strlen(boot_command_line), static_command_line will overflow. This patch just recovers strlen(command_line) which was miss-consolidated with strlen(boot_command_line) in the commit f5c7310ac73e ("init/main: add checks for the return value of memblock_alloc*()") | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2022-2849 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | vim, fedoraproject, fedora | Heap-based Buffer Overflow in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.0220. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2022-0500 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, h300e_firmware | A flaw was found in unrestricted eBPF usage by the BPF_BTF_LOAD, leading to a possible out-of-bounds memory write in the Linux kernel’s BPF subsystem due to the way a user loads BTF. This flaw allows a local user to crash or escalate their privileges on the system. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-38166 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, debian_linux | In kernel/bpf/hashtab.c in the Linux kernel through 5.13.8, there is an integer overflow and out-of-bounds write when many elements are placed in a single bucket. NOTE: exploitation might be impractical without the CAP_SYS_ADMIN capability. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2022-3028 | 7.0 high | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, debian_linux | A race condition was found in the Linux kernel's IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem) when multiple calls to xfrm_probe_algs occurred simultaneously. This flaw could allow a local attacker to potentially trigger an out-of-bounds write or leak kernel heap memory by performing an out-of-bounds read and copying it into a socket. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-13776 | 6.7 medium | 0.00% | systemd_project, netapp, systemd, active_iq_unified_manager, solidfire_\&_hci_management_node | systemd through v245 mishandles numerical usernames such as ones composed of decimal digits or 0x followed by hex digits, as demonstrated by use of root privileges when privileges of the 0x0 user account were intended. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2017-1000082. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2024-0607 | 6.6 medium | 0.00% | debian, linux, debian_linux, linux_kernel, fedora | A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The issue is in the nft_byteorder_eval() function, where the code iterates through a loop and writes to the `dst` array. On each iteration, 8 bytes are written, but `dst` is an array of u32, so each element only has space for 4 bytes. That means every iteration overwrites part of the previous element corrupting this array of u32. This flaw allows a local user to cause a denial of service or potentially break NetFilter functionality. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104046 | 6.2 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD (System Security Services Daemon). When Identity Provider (IdP) authentication is enabled, pre-authentication requests retain state in memory without being cleared or timed out. A local attacker can repeatedly initiate authentication flows without completing them, causing unbounded memory consumption. This memory exhaustion can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) by degrading or terminating SSSD authentication services. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104040 | 6.1 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the Entra ID identity provider, input lookup names containing single quotes are not properly escaped before being included in Microsoft Graph Open Data Protocol (OData) queries. A low-privileged local user can exploit this flaw by submitting a crafted search request, altering query filters to broaden user or group searches. This can lead to information disclosure by retrieving unintended directory objects, as well as a Denial of Service (DoS) through excessive processing and cache population. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2023-39193 | 6.0 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, fedora | A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The sctp_mt_check did not validate the flag_count field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-39192 | 6.0 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, fedora | A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The xt_u32 module did not validate the fields in the xt_u32 structure. This flaw allows a local privileged attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read by setting the size fields with a value beyond the array boundaries, leading to a crash or information disclosure. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-39189 | 6.0 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, fedora | A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The nfnl_osf_add_callback function did not validate the user mode controlled opt_num field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104029 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the autofs responder UNIX socket. Due to improper buffer offset calculation during request parsing, the service performs an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw can cause the autofs responder process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104030 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in sssd. This vulnerability allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by submitting a specially crafted passkey authentication token that lacks null terminators. The authentication service reads past the end of the provided memory buffer, causing the process to crash and disrupting authentication services. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104031 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. In configurations where the autofs responder service is enabled, memory allocated during successful request processing is not released until the client connection terminates. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by maintaining an open connection and repeatedly submitting valid requests, leading to memory exhaustion and a Denial of Service (DoS). | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104032 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. An unprivileged local user can repeatedly request master automount map updates through the autofs responder due to missing authorization checks. This triggers global cache invalidation and forces repeated lookups to backend directory providers, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) from degraded automount availability and elevated resource consumption. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6245 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD). The pam_passkey_child_read_data() function within the PAM passkey responder fails to properly handle raw bytes received from a pipe. Because the data is treated as a NUL-terminated C string without explicit termination, it results in an out-of-bounds read when processed by functions like snprintf(). A local attacker could potentially trigger this vulnerability by initiating a crafted passkey authentication request, causing the SSSD PAM responder to crash, resulting in a local Denial of Service (DoS). | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-35094 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | freedesktop, fedoraproject, libinput, fedora | A flaw was found in libinput. An attacker capable of deploying a Lua plugin file in specific system directories can exploit a dangling pointer vulnerability. This occurs when a garbage collection cleanup function is called, leaving a pointer that can then be printed to system logs. This could potentially expose sensitive data if the memory location is re-used, leading to information disclosure. For this exploit to work, Lua plugins must be enabled in libinput and loaded by the compositor. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2024-0443 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, fedora | A flaw was found in the blkgs destruction path in block/blk-cgroup.c in the Linux kernel, leading to a cgroup blkio memory leakage problem. When a cgroup is being destroyed, cgroup_rstat_flush() is only called at css_release_work_fn(), which is called when the blkcg reference count reaches 0. This circular dependency will prevent blkcg and some blkgs from being freed after they are made offline. This issue may allow an attacker with a local access to cause system instability, such as an out of memory error. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-88252 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in sssd. A local user can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting the responder service's available file descriptors (system handles used for open connections). By opening and maintaining many concurrent connections to a responder socket while continuing to queue new connection attempts, an attacker can trigger an unthrottled retry loop. This condition leads to high CPU utilization and stalls the service, preventing legitimate identity and authentication requests from being processed. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2024-27013 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: limit printing rate when illegal packet received by tun dev vhost_worker will call tun call backs to receive packets. If too many illegal packets arrives, tun_do_read will keep dumping packet contents. When console is enabled, it will costs much more cpu time to dump packet and soft lockup will be detected. net_ratelimit mechanism can be used to limit the dumping rate. This thread holds the clk prepare_lock, and is trying to runtime PM resume a device, when it finds that the device is in the process of resuming so the thread schedule()s away waiting for the device to finish resuming before continuing. The second thread is runtime PM resuming the same device, but the runtime resume callback is calling clk_prepare(), trying to grab the prepare_lock waiting on the first thread. This is a classic ABBA deadlock. To properly fix the deadlock, we must never runtime PM resume or suspend a device with the clk prepare_lock held. Actually doing that is near impossible today because the global prepare_lock would have to be dropped in the middle of the tree, the device runtime PM resumed/suspended, and then the prepare_lock grabbed again to ensure consistency of the clk tree topology. If anything changes with the clk tree in the meantime, we've lost and will need to start the operation all over again. Luckily, most of the time we're simply incrementing or decrementing the runtime PM count on an active device, so we don't have the chance to schedule away with the prepare_lock held. Let's fix this immediate problem that can be ---truncated--- | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2024-0232 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | sqlite, redhat, enterprise_linux, extra_packages_for_enterprise_linux | A heap use-after-free issue has been identified in SQLite in the jsonParseAddNodeArray() function in sqlite3.c. This flaw allows a local attacker to leverage a victim to pass specially crafted malicious input to the application, potentially causing a crash and leading to a denial of service. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-42754 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, fedora | A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel ipv4 stack. The socket buffer (skb) was assumed to be associated with a device before calling __ip_options_compile, which is not always the case if the skb is re-routed by ipvs. This issue may allow a local user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to crash the system. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2022-45873 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | systemd_project, fedoraproject, systemd, fedora | systemd 250 and 251 allows local users to achieve a systemd-coredump deadlock by triggering a crash that has a long backtrace. This occurs in parse_elf_object in shared/elf-util.c. The exploitation methodology is to crash a binary calling the same function recursively, and put it in a deeply nested directory to make its backtrace large enough to cause the deadlock. This must be done 16 times when MaxConnections=16 is set for the systemd/units/systemd-coredump.socket file. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-40768 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, debian_linux | drivers/scsi/stex.c in the Linux kernel through 5.19.9 allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel memory because stex_queuecommand_lck lacks a memset for the PASSTHRU_CMD case. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-90995 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD (System Security Services Daemon). A local attacker with privileges to connect to the PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) responder socket can send a specially crafted protocol request. If the `pam_app_services` configuration is enabled and the service item is omitted from the request, a NULL pointer dereference can occur. This vulnerability leads to a denial of service, causing the PAM responder to crash and disrupt authentication services. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-4129 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, layer_2_tunneling_protocol, fedora | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP). A missing lock when clearing sk_user_data can lead to a race condition and NULL pointer dereference. A local user could use this flaw to potentially crash the system causing a denial of service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-3821 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | systemd_project, redhat, systemd, enterprise_linux, fedora | An off-by-one Error issue was discovered in Systemd in format_timespan() function of time-util.c. An attacker could supply specific values for time and accuracy that leads to buffer overrun in format_timespan(), leading to a Denial of Service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-3169 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, debian_linux | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. A denial of service flaw may occur if there is a consecutive request of the NVME_IOCTL_RESET and the NVME_IOCTL_SUBSYS_RESET through the device file of the driver, resulting in a PCIe link disconnect. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-2153 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s KVM when attempting to set a SynIC IRQ. This issue makes it possible for a misbehaving VMM to write to SYNIC/STIMER MSRs, causing a NULL pointer dereference. This flaw allows an unprivileged local attacker on the host to issue specific ioctl calls, causing a kernel oops condition that results in a denial of service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-35477 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, fedora | In the Linux kernel through 5.13.7, an unprivileged BPF program can obtain sensitive information from kernel memory via a Speculative Store Bypass side-channel attack because a certain preempting store operation does not necessarily occur before a store operation that has an attacker-controlled value. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-34556 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel through 5.13.7, an unprivileged BPF program can obtain sensitive information from kernel memory via a Speculative Store Bypass side-channel attack because the protection mechanism neglects the possibility of uninitialized memory locations on the BPF stack. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-20320 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in s390 eBPF JIT in bpf_jit_insn in arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c in the Linux kernel. In this flaw, a local attacker with special user privilege can circumvent the verifier and may lead to a confidentiality problem. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104047 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to use Microsoft Entra ID, search inputs are not properly sanitized before being incorporated into directory query filters. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted lookup request, manipulating the query logic to cause unauthorized information disclosure from the directory. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2013-4235 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | debian, fedoraproject, shadow, debian_linux, fedora | shadow: TOCTOU (time-of-check time-of-use) race condition when copying and removing directory trees | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104045 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. A local user can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by exploiting a race condition in the autofs responder between asynchronous enumeration completion and map invalidation. By repeatedly sending concurrent map enumeration and invalidation requests, an attacker can cause memory to leak, leading to excessive memory consumption that can disrupt or crash the autofs service. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2019-19066 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | linux, canonical, linux_kernel, ubuntu_linux, debian_linux | A memory leak in the bfad_im_get_stats() function in drivers/scsi/bfa/bfad_attr.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering bfa_port_get_stats() failures, aka CID-0e62395da2bd. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2019-19054 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | linux, canonical, linux_kernel, ubuntu_linux, fedora | A memory leak in the cx23888_ir_probe() function in drivers/media/pci/cx23885/cx23888-ir.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering kfifo_alloc() failures, aka CID-a7b2df76b42b. | 8 Oct |

The specific flaw exists within the processing of state filters, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, potentially leading to an information disclosure. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-3773 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | redhat, fedoraproject, enterprise_linux, fedora, linux_kernel | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to cause a 4 byte out-of-bounds read of XFRMA_MTIMER_THRESH when parsing netlink attributes, leading to potential leakage of sensitive heap data to userspace. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2023-3772 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | redhat, fedoraproject, enterprise_linux, enterprise_linux_for_real_time, enterprise_linux_for_real_time_for_nfv | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to directly dereference a NULL pointer in xfrm_update_ae_params(), leading to a possible kernel crash and denial of service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2023-3212 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, enterprise_linux | A NULL pointer dereference issue was found in the gfs2 file system in the Linux kernel. It occurs on corrupt gfs2 file systems when the evict code tries to reference the journal descriptor structure after it has been freed and set to NULL. A privileged local user could use this flaw to cause a kernel panic. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2023-2269 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, debian_linux | A denial of service problem was found, due to a possible recursive locking scenario, resulting in a deadlock in table_clear in drivers/md/dm-ioctl.c in the Linux Kernel Device Mapper-Multipathing sub-component. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2020-25639 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, openshift_container_platform | A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel's GPU Nouveau driver functionality in versions prior to 5.12-rc1 in the way the user calls ioctl DRM_IOCTL_NOUVEAU_CHANNEL_ALLOC. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2023-4016 | 3.3 low | 0.00% | procps_project, fedoraproject, procps, fedora | Under some circumstances, this weakness allows a user who has access to run the “ps” utility on a machine, the ability to write almost unlimited amounts of unfiltered data into the process heap. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-36087 | 3.3 low | 0.00% | selinux_project, fedoraproject, selinux, fedora | The CIL compiler in SELinux 3.2 has a heap-based buffer over-read in ebitmap_match_any (called indirectly from cil_check_neverallow). This occurs because there is sometimes a lack of checks for invalid statements in an optional block. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-36085 | 3.3 low | 0.00% | selinux_project, fedoraproject, selinux, fedora | The CIL compiler in SELinux 3.2 has a use-after-free in __cil_verify_classperms (called from __verify_map_perm_classperms and hashtab_map). | 14 Oct |
