CVE-2026-65327 8.4 high 0.00% apple, macos A logic issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. A local attacker may be able to elevate their privileges. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-40599 8.4 high 0.00% craigjbass, clearancekit ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to 5.0.5, ClearanceKit incorrectly treats a process with an empty Team ID and a non-empty Signing ID as an Apple platform binary. This bug allows a malicious software to impersonate an apple process in the global allowlist, and access all protected files. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.5. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-24066 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Slate Digital Connect 1.37.0 for macOS installs a privileged helper tool, com.slatedigital.connect.privileged.helper.tool, which exposes the XPC service com.slatedigital.connect.privileged.helper.tool2. The helper validates connecting XPC clients by checking only the subject.OU value of the client's signing certificate and does not verify that the certificate chains to a trusted code-signing authority. A local attacker can sign a malicious client with a self-signed certificate containing the expected organizational unit value and connect to the privileged XPC service. This allows unauthorized access to privileged helper functionality and may lead to local privilege escalation. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-24067 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Slate Digital Connect 1.37.0 for macOS installs a privileged helper tool, com.slatedigital.connect.privileged.helper.tool, which exposes the XPC service com.slatedigital.connect.privileged.helper.tool2. The helper validates connecting XPC clients by obtaining the client's process identifier and using it to retrieve code-signing information for the process. This PID-based client validation is subject to a time-of-check time-of-use race condition because process identifiers can be reused. A local attacker can exploit PID reuse so that validation is performed against a trusted process instead of the original connecting process. This allows unauthorized access to privileged helper functionality and may lead to local privilege escalation. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49401 8.4 high 0.00% deno Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime. Prior to 2.7.14, Deno's permission system enforces filesystem and execution restrictions by comparing the requested path against the path supplied to --deny-read, --deny-write, --deny-run, or --deny-ffi. On macOS, that comparison was done at the raw-byte level while the APFS filesystem treats different Unicode spellings of the same name as the same file. That means a program could reach a denied path by spelling it differently than the deny rule. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.7.14. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-16477 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet CleanShot X for macOS insecurely deserializes untrusted data embedded in a .cleanshot project file (editable screenshot annotations). Exploitation requires an attacker to craft a malicious .cleanshot file, deliver it to the target, and have the target open it; the payload then executes automatically during parsing, resulting in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Users who have never opened a .cleanshot file from an untrusted source are not affected by this vulnerability. This vulnerability was fixed in versions: 4.5.2, 4.6.3, 4.7.8 and 4.8.10 22 Oct
CVE-2025-34188 8.4 high 0.00% vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host versions prior to 1.0.735 and Application prior to 20.0.1330 (macOS/Linux client deployments) contain a vulnerability in the local logging mechanism. Authentication session tokens, including PHPSESSID, XSRF-TOKEN, and laravel_session, are stored in cleartext within world-readable log files. Any local user with access to the machine can extract these session tokens and use them to authenticate remotely to the SaaS environment, bypassing normal login credentials, potentially leading to unauthorized system access and exposure of sensitive information. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2022-008 — Secrets Leaked in Logs. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-102514 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787) in the PEA archive extraction routine (pea.pas, unpea_procedure) of the first-party pea component in PeaZip 11.2.0 and earlier allows an attacker who convinces a victim to open or extract a crafted .pea archive to execute arbitrary code as the user running PeaZip. While decompressing a PCOMPRESS1 stream, the 32-bit compressed-block-size field of the first block (compsize) is read directly from the archive and used without validation as the length of a blockread into the fixed-size global buffers wbuf1/wbuf2 (1,114,112 bytes) and as the bound of the subsequent copy loop. The existing check "compsize > WBUFSIZE" is applied only to the size of each following block, so the first block escapes it; the same unvalidated value is also used to index wbuf1[compsize], an out-of-bounds read at an attacker-chosen offset. The copy loop additionally copies the requested length instead of the number of bytes actually read, and terminates on equality rather than on an upper bound. Because the project is built without range checking and no archive password, integrity tag or non-default configuration is required, the overflow overwrites adjacent global data; code execution was demonstrated by two independent researchers against the official Linux x86-64 and Windows x64 builds, and the denial-of-service and memory-corruption primitive is cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, BSD). 14 Oct
CVE-2026-40604 8.2 high 0.00% craigjbass, clearancekit ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to 5.0.6, the opfilter Endpoint Security system extension (bundle ID uk.craigbass.clearancekit.opfilter) can be suspended with SIGSTOP or kill -STOP, or killed with SIGKILL/SIGTERM, by any process running as root. While the extension is suspended, all AUTH Endpoint Security events time out and default to allow, silently disabling ClearanceKit's file-access policy enforcement for the duration of the suspension. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.6. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-53657 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet Lima launches Linux virtual machines, typically on macOS, for running containerd. Prior to 2.1.3, on an instance of Lima running with the qemu driver, an arbitrary user in the VM could access /run/lima-guestagent.sock when the guest agent is enabled, which could result in running arbitrary commands with root privileges in the VM because the guest agent socket provides tunneling for arbitrary addresses, including Unix socket addresses for privileged daemons like D-Bus. CVE-2025-55313 7.8 high 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows and macOS before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. They allow potential arbitrary code execution when processing crafted PDF files. The vulnerability stems from insufficient handling of memory allocation failures after assigning an extremely large value to a form field's charLimit property via JavaScript. This can result in memory corruption and may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code by persuading a user to open a malicious file. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-55314 7.8 high 0.00% foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows and macOS before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. When pages in a PDF are deleted via JavaScript, the application may fail to properly update internal states. Subsequent annotation management operations assume these states are valid, causing dereference of invalid or released memory. This can lead to memory corruption, application crashes, and potentially allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-49237 7.8 high 0.00% canonical, multipass An issue was discovered in Canonical Multipass for macOS before version 1.16.3 due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2025-5199. While the patch in version 1.16.0 updated the ownership of the multipassd daemon binary to root:wheel, five co-located binaries (multipass, qemu-img, qemu-system-aarch64, qemu-system-x86_64, and sshfs_server) in /Library/Application Support/com.canonical.multipass/bin/ retain ownership by the installing user and remain writable. Because the root LaunchDaemon (com.canonical.multipassd.plist) configures a PATH environment variable that prioritizes this user-writable directory and invokes these auxiliary binaries by their bare names, a local attacker can replace an auxiliary binary (such as qemu-img) with a malicious wrapper. When the root daemon subsequently triggers the binary during routine execution (e.g., via multipass launch), the malicious code executes with root privileges, leading to local privilege escalation. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-54658 7.8 high 0.00% fortinet, fortidlp_agent An Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability [CWE-22] in Fortinet FortiDLP Agent's Outlookproxy plugin for MacOS 11.5.1 and 11.4.2 through 11.4.6 and 11.3.2 through 11.3.4 and 11.2.0 through 11.2.3 and 11.1.1 through 11.1.2 and 11.0.1 and 10.5.1 and 10.4.0, and 10.3.1 may allow an authenticated attacker to escalate their privilege to Root via sending a crafted request to a local listening port. 9 Oct
