| CVE-2026-31403 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Hold net reference for the lifetime of /proc/fs/nfs/exports fd The /proc/fs/nfs/exports proc entry is created at module init and persists for the module's lifetime. exports_proc_open() captures the caller's current network namespace and stores its svc_export_cache in seq->private, but takes no reference on the namespace. If the namespace is subsequently torn down (e.g. container destruction after the opener does setns() to a different namespace), nfsd_net_exit() calls nfsd_export_shutdown() which frees the cache. Subsequent reads on the still-open fd dereference the freed cache_detail, walking a freed hash table. Hold a reference on the struct net for the lifetime of the open file descriptor. This prevents nfsd_net_exit() from running -- and thus prevents nfsd_export_shutdown() from freeing the cache -- while any exports fd is open. cache_detail already stores its net pointer (cd->net, set by cache_create_net()), so exports_release() can retrieve it without additional per-file storage. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-90244 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/dma: Restore locking around msi_page_list Unlike a group's default domain, which is always freshly allocated and privately owned (iommu_group_alloc_default_domain()), VFIO type1's legacy container merges any newly attached group into an existing domain whenever their iommu_ops and cache-coherency enforcement match. iommu_dma_get_msi_page() only asserts the caller's own group mutex is held (iommu_group_mutex_assert()). On an IOMMU that publishes IOMMU_RESV_SW_MSI, e.g. ARM SMMU, a VM with two such devices assigned through the legacy container can have their guest drivers probe and allocate MSIs in parallel; each host-side VFIO_DEVICE_SET_IRQS lands on a different device fd and group mutex, but both devices' domains are the same merged domain, so both can enter iommu_dma_get_msi_page() concurrently and corrupt msi_page_list. commit 288683c92b1a ("iommu: Make iommu_dma_prepare_msi() into a generic operation") dropped the prior msi_prepare_lock on the reasoning that "each iommu_domain is unique to a group," which holds for default domains but not this VFIO type1 case. Restore the static lock, since it's only guarding a corner case and will likely never be contended. iommufd avoids the equivalent problem by having its own callers (iommufd_sw_map_msi()) take a ctx-wide sw_msi_lock before ever reaching the shared list. VFIO type1 can't mirror that since it dispatches to iommu_dma_sw_msi() which is outside VFIO's jurisdiction. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-89938 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: chemical: atlas-sensor: use iio_trigger_poll_nested() to fix remove UAF The atlas driver requests its hardware data-ready IRQ with devm_request_threaded_irq(); its threaded handler queues an irq_work, atlas_work_handler(), that calls iio_trigger_poll(data->trig). The IRQ is devm-managed, so free_irq() runs from the devres unwind after atlas_remove() returns without flushing that irq_work. Once a buffer is enabled, conversion-complete IRQs keep firing and queueing it; a pending irq_work can therefore run after the unwind has freed atlas_data/indio_dev and the trigger, when atlas_work_handler() derives the atlas_data pointer via container_of() and dereferences data->trig, a use-after-free. Call iio_trigger_poll_nested() directly from the threaded handler instead of bouncing through irq_work. free_irq() then drains the threaded handler, closing the window; other iio drivers with a threaded data-ready IRQ do the same (e.g. bmi270). This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-89893 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: cx23885: cancel NetUP CI work before teardown netup_ci_exit() frees a netup_ci_state while its work item, netup_read_ci_status(), may still be pending or running on the system workqueue. The worker obtains the state with container_of() and dereferences it, so it must not outlive the state. netup_ci_init() queues the initial status read, and CI GPIO interrupts subsequently queue the same work from netup_ci_slot_status(). During remove, cx23885_finidev() calls free_irq() before the CI device is unregistered. free_irq() prevents further IRQ handlers from running, but does not drain work queued previously, so the worker can run after netup_ci_exit() frees the state. Call cancel_work_sync() before dvb_ca_en50221_release() and kfree(). This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-89440 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: via-sdmmc: stop card-detect handling on probe failure request_irq() registers the SD card-detect interrupt and the probe enables it before mmc_add_host() runs. If mmc_add_host() fails, the error path only unmaps the registers and returns: the interrupt stays registered, so the handler keeps running against the host once it is freed. via_sdc_isr() dereferences sdhost and its MMIO base and schedules carddet_work, which via_sdc_card_detect() also runs against freed memory through its container_of() dereference. Add a probe-error path that disables and frees the interrupt and cancels carddet_work before unmapping. carddet_work can re-enable the device interrupt via via_reset_pcictrl(), which restores PCIINTCTRL, so mask it again after cancelling the work. This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool and confirmed by manual code review. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-95837 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | containerd is an open-source container runtime. From 2.1.0 until 2.2.7 and 2.3.4, containerd's CRI CreateContainer checkpoint restore is vulnerable because CRIU restores process security state from checkpoint data instead of enforcing the destination ContainerConfig. An attacker who can create a container from a crafted checkpoint can supply restored credentials, capabilities, no_new_privs, and seccomp state. The restored process can run as root with full capabilities and no enforced seccomp filters while CRI status reports the requested configuration. Systems that do not use CRI checkpoint restore are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.7 and 2.3.4. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-97792 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | microsoft, windows_11_23h2, windows_11_24h2, windows_11_25h2 | Improper access control in Windows Container Isolation FS Filter Driver (unionfs.sys) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-97794 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | microsoft, windows_11_23h2, windows_11_24h2, windows_11_25h2 | Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Container Isolation FS Filter Driver (unionfs.sys) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2025-21919 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/fair: Fix potential memory corruption in child_cfs_rq_on_list child_cfs_rq_on_list attempts to convert a 'prev' pointer to a cfs_rq. This 'prev' pointer can originate from struct rq's leaf_cfs_rq_list, making the conversion invalid and potentially leading to memory corruption. Depending on the relative positions of leaf_cfs_rq_list and the task group (tg) pointer within the struct, this can cause a memory fault or access garbage data. The issue arises in list_add_leaf_cfs_rq, where both cfs_rq->leaf_cfs_rq_list and rq->leaf_cfs_rq_list are added to the same leaf list. Also, rq->tmp_alone_branch can be set to rq->leaf_cfs_rq_list. This adds a check `if (prev == &rq->leaf_cfs_rq_list)` after the main conditional in child_cfs_rq_on_list. This ensures that the container_of operation will convert a correct cfs_rq struct. This check is sufficient because only cfs_rqs on the same CPU are added to the list, so verifying the 'prev' pointer against the current rq's list head is enough. Fixes a potential memory corruption issue that due to current struct layout might not be manifesting as a crash but could lead to unpredictable behavior when the layout changes. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33098 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | microsoft, windows_10_1607, windows_10_1809, windows_10_21h2 | Use after free in Windows Container Isolation FS Filter Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48864 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | opensuse, redhat, libsolv, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform | A flaw was found in libsolv. This heap buffer overflow occurs during the decompression of attacker-controlled compressed data within `.solv` files due to insufficient input validation. An attacker can provide a specially crafted `.solv` file, which, when processed by a vulnerable application, can lead to out-of-bounds memory access. This could result in information disclosure, alteration of program execution, or a denial of service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-5914 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | libarchive, redhat, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_format_rar_seek_data() function. This flaw involves an integer overflow that can ultimately lead to a double-free condition. Exploiting a double-free vulnerability can result in memory corruption, enabling an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial-of-service condition. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2025-36156 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | ibm, infosphere_data_replication_vsam_for_z\/os_remote_source | IBM InfoSphere Data Replication VSAM for z/OS Remote Source 11.4 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking. A local user with access to the files storing CECSUB or CECRM on the container could overflow the buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-13451 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A flaw was found in KServe. A namespace-scoped user with create/update permissions on InferenceService custom resources can exploit this vulnerability by providing a malicious `storageUri`. This Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability allows the `storage-initializer` init container to issue arbitrary outbound HTTP/HTTPS requests from inside the cluster. This can lead to information disclosure, including credential theft for the node's Identity and Access Management (IAM) role or access to internal cluster services. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40886 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | argoproj, argo_workflows | Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. From 3.6.5 to 4.0.4, an unchecked array index in the pod informer's podGCFromPod() function causes a controller-wide panic when a workflow pod carries a malformed workflows.argoproj.io/pod-gc-strategy annotation. Because the panic occurs inside an informer goroutine (outside the controller's recover() scope), it crashes the entire controller process. The poisoned pod persists across restarts, causing a crash loop that halts all workflow processing until the pod is manually deleted. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.5 and 3.7.14. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61411 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | dell, container_storage_modules | Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) an Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2025-13601 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | redhat, gnome, codeready_linux_builder, codeready_linux_builder_for_ibm_z_systems, codeready_linux_builder_for_power_little_endian | A heap-based buffer overflow problem was found in glib through an incorrect calculation of buffer size in the g_escape_uri_string() function. If the string to escape contains a very large number of unacceptable characters (which would need escaping), the calculation of the length of the escaped string could overflow, leading to a potential write off the end of the newly allocated string. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53999 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Radius is a cloud-native, portable application platform that makes app development easier for teams building cloud-native apps. Prior to 0.58.0, the Kubernetes controller deserializes the user-controlled radapp.io/status annotation on a Deployment and uses its container resource identifier for deletion without confirming ownership by that Deployment. An attacker with permission to modify Deployment annotations and knowledge of a target Radius resource ID can forge radapp.io/status and set radapp.io/enabled to false, causing reconciliation to enter the privileged deletion path for another tenant's Radius-managed container resource. In a multi-tenant installation this confused-deputy condition can delete another team's recoverable container resource and disrupt service; in a single-tenant installation the impact is limited to self denial of service. The multi-tenant Radius controller reads the annotations in pkg/controller/reconciler/annotations.go and reaches the privileged delete in pkg/controller/reconciler/deployment_reconciler.go. The issue does not disclose data, grant privileges, or provide persistence. This issue is fixed in version 0.58.0. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55621 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, missing authorization checks exist for custom volume copying where an attacker knowing the name of a project that they don't have access to and the name of a custom volume in that project can copy the custom volume to a new project. This issue could allow an attacker to access secrets in custom volumes they are not authorized to access. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55622 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, missing authorization checks exist for instance copying where an attacker knowing the name of a project that they don't have access to and the name of an instance in that project can copy the instance to a new project. This issue could allow an attacker to access secrets in instances they are not authorized to access. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106556 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | linuxfoundation, backstage, backstage_plugin-techdocs-node | Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by configuration bypass in techdocs mkdocs.yml sanitization. Insufficient validation of MkDocs configuration during TechDocs generation could allow an authenticated user who can register or modify documentation sources to execute arbitrary commands in the build environment. Impact is limited to resources accessible to the TechDocs backend or build container. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111089 | 7.6 high | — | apache software foundation, apache wicket | Apache Wicket reads texts from the application's resource bundles — a localized label, a css class name — and writes some of them into the JavaScript and the markup it generates for a component. Those texts are placed inside single-quoted JavaScript string literals and inside quoted attribute values without being escaped for that context, so a text containing a quote ends the literal or the attribute, and what follows is parsed as script or as markup in the application's origin when the page loads. A resource bundle entry is authored for the application and does not say where the framework will write it. The same key is read by the framework into element text, where Wicket escapes it, and into the contexts below, where it did not. A text containing an apostrophe, which is ordinary in several languages, is enough to break the page; a text under the influence of another party is enough to run script. In org.apache.wicket:wicket-core, org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.upload.MultiFileUploadField writes the org.apache.wicket.mfu.delete message into a JavaScript string literal, and org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.Form writes the hidden-fields css class into the class attribute of the container it renders for its hidden fields; on 8.0.0 through 8.19.0 and 9.0.0 through 9.24.0 Form#appendDefaultButtonField writes the same css class into a second container. In org.apache.wicket:wicket-extensions, UploadProgressBar writes its UploadProgressBar.starting text into a JavaScript string literal, FilterForm writes the hidden-fields css class into the class attribute of its hidden input markup, and on 9.0.0 through 9.24.0 and 10.0.0 through 10.11.0 TrapFocusBehavior writes its current css class into a JavaScript string literal. The Content-Security-Policy that Apache Wicket 9.x and 10.x send by default does not prevent the JavaScript cases: the generated script is written into a script element carrying the per-response nonce, so the injected code is part of a script the policy admits. It does prevent an inline event handler injected through the attribute cases. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 8.0.0 through 8.19.0, from 9.0.0 through 9.24.0, from 10.0.0 through 10.11.0. Users of Apache Wicket 7.x or older, which are no longer supported, should upgrade to a supported version. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 8.20.0, 9.25.0 or 10.12.0, which fix the issue. | 5 h ago |
| CVE-2026-95863 | 7.6 high | — | apache software foundation, apache wicket | Improper neutralization of input during web page generation in Apache Wicket. Apache Wicket generates JavaScript that refers to the elements it renders, and writes into that JavaScript two values it derives itself: a component's markup id, and the input name of a form component, which is built from component ids. Both are placed inside single-quoted JavaScript string literals without being escaped for that context, so a value containing a single quote or a backslash ends the literal, and what follows is parsed as script and runs in the application's origin when the page loads. A markup id is the value passed to org.apache.wicket.Component#setMarkupId(String), or the id attribute written in the component's markup, or an id Wicket generates, in that order. The first two are supplied by the application in an HTML context, where both characters are legal and where Wicket escapes them correctly when it writes the same value into the id attribute of the element; a generated id cannot contain either. An input name is derived from the ids of the components between the form and the form component, and a component id was rejected only for ':' and '~'. In org.apache.wicket:wicket-core on 9.x and 10.x, org.apache.wicket.markup.head.OnEventHeaderItem#forMarkupId(String, String, CharSequence) quotes the id it is given into a Wicket.Event.add call, and components in both wicket-core and wicket-extensions reach it through #forComponent(Component, String, CharSequence). On every affected version, org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.Form writes its markup id and the id of its hidden-fields container into such literals, org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.FormComponentUpdatingBehavior writes an input name, and org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.upload.MultiFileUploadField writes two markup ids and an input name. On 8.x, Form also writes an input name into the action of a submitting link, and on 8.x and 9.x Form#appendDefaultButtonField writes an input name into a name attribute with no escaping at all, so a value containing a double quote escapes the attribute into markup. org.apache.wicket:wicket-extensions is affected in its own right and not only through wicket-core: AjaxEditableLabel, AjaxIndicatorAppender, AjaxDisableComponentListener, UploadProgressBar, KittenCaptchaPanel, Palette, FilterForm and, on 9.x and 10.x, TrapFocusBehavior and AjaxListPanel each build their own JavaScript containing a markup id. An application is affected where a markup id or a component id carries one of those characters. Wicket does not put one there itself, so the value comes from the application: an id set on a component, an id attribute in a template, or a component id derived from data. None of those is a JavaScript context from the application's point of view. The Content-Security-Policy that Apache Wicket 9.x and 10.x send by default does not prevent this. The generated script is written into a script element carrying the per-response nonce, so the injected code is part of a script the policy admits. The fixed versions check an id where it enters instead of escaping each place it is written. A component id and a markup id may no longer contain a quote, a backquote, a backslash, braces, angle brackets, a semicolon, an ampersand or a control character, and a markup id may not contain parentheses or square brackets either; a component constructed with such an id, or given such a markup id, fails with an exception. | 6 h ago |
| CVE-2026-120194 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 7, red hat enterprise linux 8 | A flaw was found in json-glib. The JSONPath slice evaluator used by json_path_query() can enter an infinite loop when given a slice expression with a negative step. An application that evaluates attacker-controlled JSONPath expressions can be forced into a hang, leading to a denial of service. | 24 h ago |
| CVE-2026-118759 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | kubeflow, pipelines | Kubeflow Pipelines enables users to build and deploy portable, scalable machine learning workflows. Prior to 2.18.0, the API server's GET /apis/v1alpha1/runs/{run_id}/nodes/{node_id}/log handler retrieved logs without authorizing the caller against the selected run. A caller who can reach the backend and knows a victim run ID and suitable pod or node identifier can read live or archived logs with the API server's permissions. For live logs, the caller-controlled node ID was also accepted as a pod name without verifying that the pod belonged to the requested run, allowing a known run ID to select the namespace of an unrelated pod and read its main container logs. The handler does not authenticate requests itself, although an external authentication gate or network policy can limit reachability. Exposed logs can contain sensitive workload data or credentials. This issue is fixed in version 2.18.0. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2026-119194 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | pyasn1 | pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. From 0.3.3 until 0.6.5, schemaless container decoding stores every decoded component's TagSet in a growing set even though only one-versus-multiple tag types must be distinguished. Attacker-controlled BER, CER, or DER input contains many distinct long tag IDs whose TagSet hashes collide. Each later set insertion compares against an increasing number of earlier colliding tags in ConstructedPayloadDecoderBase._decodeComponentsSchemaless, producing quadratic CPU work while decoded values and order remain valid. Repeated inputs can exhaust decoder CPU and reduce service availability. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.5. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45047 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | bird-lg-go is a BIRD looking glass in Go. Prior to 1.4.5, the apiHandler (and similarly webHandlerTelegramBot) processes user-provided JSON payloads by directly using json.NewDecoder(r.Body).Decode(&request) without restricting the maximum read size. An unauthenticated remote attacker can stream an extremely large, endless JSON payload (e.g., several Gigabytes of padding) over a single TCP connection. Because Go's JSON decoder attempts to allocate memory for the entire parsed structure, this rapidly exhausts the host's physical RAM or container limits, leading to an unrecoverable fatal error: runtime: out of memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.5. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57231 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | podman_project, podman | Podman is a tool for managing OCI containers and pods. From 1.8.1 until 5.8.4, a container image that contains a environment variable with just a key and no value can trick podman into passing that variable from the host into the container. This is made worse by the fact that using an asterisk (*) will cause podman to pass all host variables into the container. So essentially a malicious image can exfiltrate all podman environment variables that are set in the session from where the container is launched. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.8.4 and 6.0.0. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56455 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | hcltech, dfxanalytics | HCL DFXAnalytics is affected by a Buffer Overflow vulnerability that can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS). The application fails to properly validate input sizes, allowing an attacker to pass an excessive amount of information into a memory container, which can cause the system to crash or become unresponsive. To mitigate this flaw, comprehensive input length checks must be implemented and enforced on both the client and server sides. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-64773 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | apple, container | An attacker that can reach a container's published TCP port may be able to force the host's forwarding process to buffer an unbounded amount of that client's data in memory, for as long as the backend container connection takes to complete — with no cap on how much accumulates or how long the wait can be stretched. This vulnerability is addressed in container version 1.2.0. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19493 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access | IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow a remote attacker to perform an arbitrary file write due to path traversal. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2025-54286 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | canonical, lxd | Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in LXD-UI in Canonical LXD versions >= 5.0 on Linux allows an attacker to create and start container instances without user consent via crafted HTML form submissions exploiting client certificate authentication. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19491 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access | IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow a remote attacker to bypass authentication due to improper authentication. | 10 Oct |
| CVE-2026-11888 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access | IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 is vulnerable to an information disclosure attack. | 10 Oct |
| CVE-2026-16823 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access | IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions due to improper authentication. | 10 Oct |
| CVE-2026-11930 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access | IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 may not enforce authorization correctly for some web servers. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19498 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access | IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to uncontrolled recursion. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54472 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | dell, container_storage_modules | Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) an Use of Hard-coded Credentials vulnerability in the csm-docs. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure.9.8 | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-92092 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | red hat, red hat openshift container platform 4, red hat openshift container platform 5 | A flaw was found in openshift-ansible. The installer container's `run` script downloads and executes remote inventory and dynamic scripts without integrity verification. A remote attacker, by performing a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack or compromising the HTTP server providing these scripts, could substitute an arbitrary executable. This malicious executable would then run with the installer's user ID (UID) and full cluster-provisioning privileges, leading to arbitrary code execution. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2026-39421 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | maxkb | MaxKB is an open-source AI assistant for enterprise. Versions 2.7.1 and below contain a sandbox escape vulnerability in the ToolExecutor component. By leveraging Python's ctypes library to execute raw system calls, an authenticated attacker with workspace privileges can bypass the LD_PRELOAD-based sandbox.so module to achieve arbitrary code execution via direct kernel system calls, enabling full network exfiltration and container compromise. The library intercepts critical standard system functions such as execve, system, connect, and open. It also intercepts mprotect to prevent PROT_EXEC (executable memory) allocations within the sandboxed Python processes, but pkey_mprotect is not blocked. This issue has been fixed in version 2.8.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-16460 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A flaw was found in bootc and ostree. Already-staged deployments are finalized without revalidating the deployment's container image against the current containers signature policy. Unsigned OS content staged under a prior permissive policy can remain bootable after policy is hardened to reject unsigned images, leading to full host compromise on reboot. | 21 Oct |

| CVE-2026-71226 | 7.3 high | 0.00% | redhat, smuellerdd, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform, libkcapi | Memory Corruption via Uncanceled AIO Requests on Error: libkcapi's one-shot AIO path can return an error before all submitted IOCBs are drained, allowing later kernel writes into caller-owned output buffers. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2025-39994 | 7.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: tuner: xc5000: Fix use-after-free in xc5000_release The original code uses cancel_delayed_work() in xc5000_release(), which does not guarantee that the delayed work item timer_sleep has fully completed if it was already running. This leads to use-after-free scenarios where xc5000_release() may free the xc5000_priv while timer_sleep is still active and attempts to dereference the xc5000_priv. A typical race condition is illustrated below: CPU 0 (release thread) | CPU 1 (delayed work callback) xc5000_release() | xc5000_do_timer_sleep() cancel_delayed_work() | hybrid_tuner_release_state(priv) | kfree(priv) | | priv = container_of() // UAF Replace cancel_delayed_work() with cancel_delayed_work_sync() to ensure that the timer_sleep is properly canceled before the xc5000_priv memory is deallocated. A deadlock concern was considered: xc5000_release() is called in a process context and is not holding any locks that the timer_sleep work item might also need. Therefore, the use of the _sync() variant is safe here. This bug was initially identified through static analysis. [hverkuil: fix typo in Subject: tunner -> tuner] | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62161 | 7.3 high | 0.00% | youki-dev, youki | Youki is a container runtime written in Rust. In versions 0.5.6 and below, the initial validation of the source /dev/null is insufficient, allowing container escape when youki utilizes bind mounting the container's /dev/null as a file mask. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.7. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62596 | 7.3 high | 0.00% | youki-dev, youki | Youki is a container runtime written in Rust. In versions 0.5.6 and below, youki’s apparmor handling performs insufficiently strict write-target validation, and when combined with path substitution during pathname resolution, can allow writes to unintended procfs locations. While resolving a path component-by-component, a shared-mount race can substitute intermediate components and redirect the final target. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.7. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-82840 | 7.2 high | — | apache software foundation, apache wicket | Session fixation in Apache Wicket. org.apache.wicket.authroles.authentication.AuthenticatedWebSession is the authentication base class of Wicket's role-based security module, and its signIn(String, String) method is the entry point through which an application authenticates a session. Renewing the container session id at that point is the standard defence against an attacker who has fixed a session id in a victim's browser, and Wicket provides that renewal as org.apache.wicket.Session#changeSessionId(), whose documentation directs callers to invoke it on login for exactly that reason. AuthenticatedWebSession#signIn(String, String) calls it inside a guard that succeeds only on the first transition of the session's signed-in flag. The session id is therefore renewed when a session first signs in, and is not renewed when a session that is already signed in authenticates again. signIn(String, String) returns true either way, so neither the caller nor the application can tell that the renewal did not happen. An application is affected where it authenticates through AuthenticatedWebSession, which AuthenticatedWebApplication requires and which the shipped UsernamePasswordPanel uses, and where a session that is already signed in can authenticate again: a step-up prompt before a sensitive action, an account switch, or simply a sign-in form that stays reachable once the user is signed in. Nothing in the module hides that form from a signed-in session. Reaching the defect also requires an attacker to place a session id of their choosing in the victim's browser. JSESSIONID is set by the servlet container rather than by Wicket, so that needs a position Wicket does not grant, such as control of a host under the same registrable domain or a container configured to carry the session id in the URL, and the planted session has to be one the attacker has already signed in on, because a session that is not yet signed in does have its id renewed by the victim's authentication. An authentication attempt that fails signs the session out and closes the window. Applications that renew the session id in their own code after a successful authentication are not affected. As a workaround, renew the session id from the application's own code on every successful authentication, by calling Session#changeSessionId() at the end of the authenticate(String, String) implementation. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 8.18.0 through 8.19.0, from 9.23.0 through 9.24.0, from 10.9.0 through 10.11.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 8.20.0, 9.25.0 or 10.12.0, which fix the issue. | 6 h ago |
