| CVE | CVSS | EPSS | Vendor, product | Description | Modified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2018-11040 | 7.5 high | 3.0% | vmware, oracle, spring_framework, agile_product_lifecycle_management, application_testing_suite | Spring Framework, versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.7 and 4.3.x prior to 4.3.18 and older unsupported versions, allows web applications to enable cross-domain requests via JSONP (JSON with Padding) through AbstractJsonpResponseBodyAdvice for REST controllers and MappingJackson2JsonView for browser requests. Both are not enabled by default in Spring Framework nor Spring Boot, however, when MappingJackson2JsonView is configured in an application, JSONP support is automatically ready to use through the "jsonp" and "callback" JSONP parameters, enabling cross-domain requests. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2020-11501 | 7.4 high | 3.0% | gnu, canonical, gnutls, ubuntu_linux, debian_linux | GnuTLS 3.6.x before 3.6.13 uses incorrect cryptography for DTLS. The earliest affected version is 3.6.3 (2018-07-16) because of an error in a 2017-10-06 commit. The DTLS client always uses 32 '\0' bytes instead of a random value, and thus contributes no randomness to a DTLS negotiation. This breaks the security guarantees of the DTLS protocol. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2016-10165 | 7.1 high | 3.0% | littlecms, canonical, little_cms_color_engine, ubuntu_linux, debian_linux | The Type_MLU_Read function in cmstypes.c in Little CMS (aka lcms2) allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information or cause a denial of service via an image with a crafted ICC profile, which triggers an out-of-bounds heap read. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2021-37750 | 6.5 medium | 3.0% | mit, fedoraproject, kerberos_5, fedora, debian_linux | The Key Distribution Center (KDC) in MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) before 1.18.5 and 1.19.x before 1.19.3 has a NULL pointer dereference in kdc/do_tgs_req.c via a FAST inner body that lacks a server field. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-24977 | 6.5 medium | 3.0% | xmlsoft, debian, libxml2, debian_linux, fedora | GNOME project libxml2 v2.9.10 has a global buffer over-read vulnerability in xmlEncodeEntitiesInternal at libxml2/entities.c. The issue has been fixed in commit 50f06b3e. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2017-15422 | 6.5 medium | 3.0% | google, icu-project, chrome, international_components_for_unicode, debian_linux | Integer overflow in international date handling in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ before 60.1, as used in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 63.0.3239.84 and other products, allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-43797 | 6.5 medium | 3.0% | netty, quarkus, oncommand_workflow_automation | Netty is an asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. Netty prior to version 4.1.71.Final skips control chars when they are present at the beginning / end of the header name. It should instead fail fast as these are not allowed by the spec and could lead to HTTP request smuggling. Failing to do the validation might cause netty to "sanitize" header names before it forward these to another remote system when used as proxy. This remote system can't see the invalid usage anymore, and therefore does not do the validation itself. Users should upgrade to version 4.1.71.Final. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-22947 | 5.9 medium | 3.0% | haxx, fedoraproject, curl, fedora, debian_linux | When curl >= 7.20.0 and <= 7.78.0 connects to an IMAP or POP3 server to retrieve data using STARTTLS to upgrade to TLS security, the server can respond and send back multiple responses at once that curl caches. curl would then upgrade to TLS but not flush the in-queue of cached responses but instead continue using and trustingthe responses it got *before* the TLS handshake as if they were authenticated.Using this flaw, it allows a Man-In-The-Middle attacker to first inject the fake responses, then pass-through the TLS traffic from the legitimate server and trick curl into sending data back to the user thinking the attacker's injected data comes from the TLS-protected server. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2018-11039 | 5.9 medium | 3.0% | vmware, oracle, spring_framework, agile_product_lifecycle_management, application_testing_suite | Spring Framework (versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.7, versions 4.3.x prior to 4.3.18, and older unsupported versions) allow web applications to change the HTTP request method to any HTTP method (including TRACE) using the HiddenHttpMethodFilter in Spring MVC. If an application has a pre-existing XSS vulnerability, a malicious user (or attacker) can use this filter to escalate to an XST (Cross Site Tracing) attack. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2022-3594 | 5.3 medium | 3.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function intr_callback of the file drivers/net/usb/r8152.c of the component BPF. The manipulation leads to logging of excessive data. The attack can be launched remotely. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-211363. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-28153 | 5.3 medium | 3.0% | gnome, broadcom, glib, brocade_fabric_operating_system_firmware, debian_linux | An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.8. When g_file_replace() is used with G_FILE_CREATE_REPLACE_DESTINATION to replace a path that is a dangling symlink, it incorrectly also creates the target of the symlink as an empty file, which could conceivably have security relevance if the symlink is attacker-controlled. (If the path is a symlink to a file that already exists, then the contents of that file correctly remain unchanged.) | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-4189 | 5.3 medium | 3.0% | python, debian, debian_linux, software_collections | A flaw was found in Python, specifically in the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client library in PASV (passive) mode. The issue is how the FTP client trusts the host from the PASV response by default. This flaw allows an attacker to set up a malicious FTP server that can trick FTP clients into connecting back to a given IP address and port. This vulnerability could lead to FTP client scanning ports, which otherwise would not have been possible. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2014-9323 | 5.0 medium | 3.0% | firebirdsql, opensuse, firebird, evergreen, debian_linux | The xdr_status_vector function in Firebird before 2.1.7 and 2.5.x before 2.5.3 SU1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference, segmentation fault, and crash) via an op_response action with a non-empty status. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-22890 | 3.7 low | 3.0% | haxx, fedoraproject, libcurl, fedora, hci_management_node | curl 7.63.0 to and including 7.75.0 includes vulnerability that allows a malicious HTTPS proxy to MITM a connection due to bad handling of TLS 1.3 session tickets. When using a HTTPS proxy and TLS 1.3, libcurl can confuse session tickets arriving from the HTTPS proxy but work as if they arrived from the remote server and then wrongly "short-cut" the host handshake. When confusing the tickets, a HTTPS proxy can trick libcurl to use the wrong session ticket resume for the host and thereby circumvent the server TLS certificate check and make a MITM attack to be possible to perform unnoticed. Note that such a malicious HTTPS proxy needs to provide a certificate that curl will accept for the MITMed server for an attack to work - unless curl has been told to ignore the server certificate check. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2024-52533 | 9.8 critical | 2.0% | gnome, debian, glib, debian_linux, active_iq_unified_manager | gio/gsocks4aproxy.c in GNOME GLib before 2.82.1 has an off-by-one error and resultant buffer overflow because SOCKS4_CONN_MSG_LEN is not sufficient for a trailing '\0' character. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2022-36227 | 9.8 critical | 2.0% | libarchive, debian, debian_linux, fedora | In libarchive before 3.6.2, the software does not check for an error after calling calloc function that can return with a NULL pointer if the function fails, which leads to a resultant NULL pointer dereference. NOTE: the discoverer cites this CWE-476 remark but third parties dispute the code-execution impact: "In rare circumstances, when NULL is equivalent to the 0x0 memory address and privileged code can access it, then writing or reading memory is possible, which may lead to code execution." | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2017-5436 | 8.8 high | 2.0% | debian, redhat, debian_linux, enterprise_linux, enterprise_linux_desktop | An out-of-bounds write in the Graphite 2 library triggered with a maliciously crafted Graphite font. This results in a potentially exploitable crash. This issue was fixed in the Graphite 2 library as well as Mozilla products. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.1, Firefox ESR < 45.9, Firefox ESR < 52.1, and Firefox < 53. | 16 Oct |

| CVE-2023-2911 | 7.5 high | 2.0% | isc, debian, bind, debian_linux, fedora | If the `recursive-clients` quota is reached on a BIND 9 resolver configured with both `stale-answer-enable yes;` and `stale-answer-client-timeout 0;`, a sequence of serve-stale-related lookups could cause `named` to loop and terminate unexpectedly due to a stack overflow. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.33 through 9.16.41, 9.18.7 through 9.18.15, 9.16.33-S1 through 9.16.41-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.15-S1. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2023-22795 | 7.5 high | 2.0% | rubyonrails, debian, rails, debian_linux | A regular expression based DoS vulnerability in Action Dispatch <6.1.7.1 and <7.0.4.1 related to the If-None-Match header. A specially crafted HTTP If-None-Match header can cause the regular expression engine to enter a state of catastrophic backtracking, when on a version of Ruby below 3.2.0. This can cause the process to use large amounts of CPU and memory, leading to a possible DoS vulnerability All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the workarounds immediately. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2023-27530 | 7.5 high | 2.0% | rack, debian, debian_linux | A DoS vulnerability exists in Rack <v3.0.4.2, <v2.2.6.3, <v2.1.4.3 and <v2.0.9.3 within in the Multipart MIME parsing code in which could allow an attacker to craft requests that can be abuse to cause multipart parsing to take longer than expected. | Sat 24 Oct |

| CVE-2026-3497 | 6.9 medium | 2.0% | canonical, openbsd, ubuntu_linux, openssh, debian_linux | Vulnerability in the OpenSSH GSSAPI delta included in various Linux distributions. This vulnerability affects the GSSAPI patches added by various Linux distributions and does not affect the OpenSSH upstream project itself. The usage of sshpkt_disconnect() on an error, which does not terminate the process, allows an attacker to send an unexpected GSSAPI message type during the GSSAPI key exchange to the server, which will call the underlying function and continue the execution of the program without setting the related connection variables. As the variables are not initialized to NULL the code later accesses those uninitialized variables, accessing random memory, which could lead to undefined behavior. The recommended workaround is to use ssh_packet_disconnect() instead, which does terminate the process. The impact of the vulnerability depends heavily on the compiler flag hardening configuration. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-23916 | 6.5 medium | 2.0% | haxx, fedoraproject, curl, fedora, debian_linux | An allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability exists in curl <v7.88.0 based on the "chained" HTTP compression algorithms, meaning that a server response can be compressed multiple times and potentially with differentalgorithms. The number of acceptable "links" in this "decompression chain" wascapped, but the cap was implemented on a per-header basis allowing a maliciousserver to insert a virtually unlimited number of compression steps simply byusing many headers. The use of such a decompression chain could result in a "malloc bomb", making curl end up spending enormous amounts of allocated heap memory, or trying to and returning out of memory errors. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2018-19542 | 6.5 medium | 2.0% | jasper_project, canonical, jasper, ubuntu_linux, linux_enterprise_desktop | An issue was discovered in JasPer 2.0.14. There is a NULL pointer dereference in the function jp2_decode in libjasper/jp2/jp2_dec.c, leading to a denial of service. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2018-19539 | 6.5 medium | 2.0% | jasper_project, suse, jasper, linux_enterprise_desktop, linux_enterprise_server | An issue was discovered in JasPer 2.0.14. There is an access violation in the function jas_image_readcmpt in libjasper/base/jas_image.c, leading to a denial of service. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-34969 | 6.5 medium | 2.0% | freedesktop, fedoraproject, dbus, fedora, debian_linux | D-Bus before 1.15.6 sometimes allows unprivileged users to crash dbus-daemon. If a privileged user with control over the dbus-daemon is using the org.freedesktop.DBus.Monitoring interface to monitor message bus traffic, then an unprivileged user with the ability to connect to the same dbus-daemon can cause a dbus-daemon crash under some circumstances via an unreplyable message. When done on the well-known system bus, this is a denial-of-service vulnerability. The fixed versions are 1.12.28, 1.14.8, and 1.15.6. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2022-3621 | 6.5 medium | 2.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function nilfs_bmap_lookup_at_level of the file fs/nilfs2/inode.c of the component nilfs2. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-211920. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-19189 | 6.5 medium | 2.0% | invisible-island, netapp, ncurses, active_iq_unified_manager, debian_linux | Buffer Overflow vulnerability in postprocess_terminfo function in tinfo/parse_entry.c:997 in ncurses 6.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted command. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2023-27535 | 5.9 medium | 2.0% | haxx, fedoraproject, libcurl, fedora, debian_linux | An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in libcurl <8.0.0 in the FTP connection reuse feature that can result in wrong credentials being used during subsequent transfers. Previously created connections are kept in a connection pool for reuse if they match the current setup. However, certain FTP settings such as CURLOPT_FTP_ACCOUNT, CURLOPT_FTP_ALTERNATIVE_TO_USER, CURLOPT_FTP_SSL_CCC, and CURLOPT_USE_SSL were not included in the configuration match checks, causing them to match too easily. This could lead to libcurl using the wrong credentials when performing a transfer, potentially allowing unauthorized access to sensitive information. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2023-27536 | 5.9 medium | 2.0% | haxx, fedoraproject, libcurl, fedora, debian_linux | An authentication bypass vulnerability exists libcurl <8.0.0 in the connection reuse feature which can reuse previously established connections with incorrect user permissions due to a failure to check for changes in the CURLOPT_GSSAPI_DELEGATION option. This vulnerability affects krb5/kerberos/negotiate/GSSAPI transfers and could potentially result in unauthorized access to sensitive information. The safest option is to not reuse connections if the CURLOPT_GSSAPI_DELEGATION option has been changed. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2023-28321 | 5.9 medium | 2.0% | haxx, debian, curl, debian_linux, fedora | An improper certificate validation vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way it supports matching of wildcard patterns when listed as "Subject Alternative Name" in TLS server certificates. curl can be built to use its own name matching function for TLS rather than one provided by a TLS library. This private wildcard matching function would match IDN (International Domain Name) hosts incorrectly and could as a result accept patterns that otherwise should mismatch. IDN hostnames are converted to puny code before used for certificate checks. Puny coded names always start with `xn--` and should not be allowed to pattern match, but the wildcard check in curl could still check for `x*`, which would match even though the IDN name most likely contained nothing even resembling an `x`. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2022-27774 | 5.7 medium | 2.0% | haxx, debian, curl, debian_linux, hci_bootstrap_os | An insufficiently protected credentials vulnerability exists in curl 4.9 to and include curl 7.82.0 are affected that could allow an attacker to extract credentials when follows HTTP(S) redirects is used with authentication could leak credentials to other services that exist on different protocols or port numbers. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-3426 | 5.7 medium | 2.0% | python, fedoraproject, fedora, debian_linux | There's a flaw in Python 3's pydoc. A local or adjacent attacker who discovers or is able to convince another local or adjacent user to start a pydoc server could access the server and use it to disclose sensitive information belonging to the other user that they would not normally be able to access. The highest risk of this flaw is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects Python versions before 3.8.9, Python versions before 3.9.3 and Python versions before 3.10.0a7. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2018-19139 | 5.5 medium | 2.0% | jasper_project, redhat, jasper, fedora, debian_linux | An issue has been found in JasPer 2.0.14. There is a memory leak in jas_malloc.c when called from jpc_unk_getparms in jpc_cs.c. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2021-21290 | 5.5 medium | 2.0% | netty, debian, debian_linux, quarkus | Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. In Netty before version 4.1.59.Final there is a vulnerability on Unix-like systems involving an insecure temp file. When netty's multipart decoders are used local information disclosure can occur via the local system temporary directory if temporary storing uploads on the disk is enabled. On unix-like systems, the temporary directory is shared between all user. As such, writing to this directory using APIs that do not explicitly set the file/directory permissions can lead to information disclosure. Of note, this does not impact modern MacOS Operating Systems. The method "File.createTempFile" on unix-like systems creates a random file, but, by default will create this file with the permissions "-rw-r--r--". Thus, if sensitive information is written to this file, other local users can read this information. This is the case in netty's "AbstractDiskHttpData" is vulnerable. This has been fixed in version 4.1.59.Final. As a workaround, one may specify your own "java.io.tmpdir" when you start the JVM or use "DefaultHttpDataFactory.setBaseDir(...)" to set the directory to something that is only readable by the current user. | 8 Oct |
