CVE-2026-45832 8.8 high 0.00% trychroma, chromadb All V1 collection-level endpoints in ChromaDB's Python project pass None for the tenant and database to the authorization layer, allowing attackers to bypass authorization controls by using the V1 endpoints. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-9201 8.8 high 0.00% langflow IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.3 could allow an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code due to a cryptographic weakness in the custom component validation mechanism. When the optional hardening mode that restricts execution to trusted component templates is enabled, the application validates component code using a truncated SHA‑256 hash. Because the hash comparison relies on only a portion of the digest, an attacker can craft malicious component code that collides with a trusted template hash and bypasses validation. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to introduce and execute unauthorized Python code within the Langflow process, defeating the intended security control and potentially leading to full compromise of the affected instance. CVE-2026-35050 8.8 high 0.00% oobabooga, textgen text-generation-webui is an open-source web interface for running Large Language Models. Prior to 4.1.1, users can save extention settings in "py" format and in the app root directory. This allows to overwrite python files, for instance the "download-model.py" file could be overwritten. Then, this python file can be triggered to get executed from "Model" menu when requesting to download a new model. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.1.1. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-18353 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet PIA's `POST /v1/upload/sbom` endpoint accepts a Bearer JWT and checks its **unverified** `iss` claim against an issuer allowlist using Python's `urlparse` before performing OIDC discovery with `requests`. Because `urlparse` and `requests`/`urllib3` parse an authority string containing a backslash (e.g. `https://attacker-host\@ci.eclipse.org/`) into *different* hostnames, an attacker can craft an issuer that passes the allowlist check yet drives `requests` — and subsequently `urllib.request.urlopen` for JWKS retrieval — to connect to an arbitrary attacker-chosen host, port, and scheme. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-104795 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet The insights-runtime-extractor runs as a privileged DaemonSet (`hostPID: true`) that scans container processes for runtime fingerprinting. When scanning a container, the coordinator: 1. **fork()s** a child process 2. **setns()** into the target container's PID and mount namespaces 3. **fchdir()** back to an orphaned FD pointing at the extractor's own root filesystem (where `/crio.sock` is hostPath-mounted) 4. Calls **only `seteuid(target_uid)`** — changing the effective UID but leaving the **real UID and saved-set-UID at 0** and **retaining the permitted capability set** 5. The `check_no_privileged_perms()` guard inspects only the Effective capability set (so it passes), and is **skipped entirely when the target runs as uid 0** 6. The `VersionExecutable` fingerprint invokes `fpr_kind_executable` with `process.command_line[0]` — the target's argv[0], read from `/proc/<pid>/cmdline` and **fully controlled by the workload** 7. `fpr_kind_executable` calls `exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output()` — executing the **workload's own binary** inside the workload's mount namespace while **ruid=0 in the host user namespace** The executed process can call `setuid(0)` to restore full root with `CAP_SYS_ADMIN`, and inherits the orphaned cwd which resolves into the extractor container's filesystem containing the host CRI-O socket. ## Affected Code ### 1. Insufficient privilege drop (Rust — extractor coordinator) **File:** `extractor/src/insights_runtime_extractor.rs` ```rust // Lines 139-146 — seteuid-only drop, guard skipped for root containers join_process_namespaces(process.pid)?; change_dir(current_dir); switch_user(*process.uid)?; if *process.uid != 0 { perms::check_no_privileged_perms() .expect("Must not have privileged permissions to run fingerprints"); } fingerprint::run_fingerprints(&config, out_dir, &process); ``` ```rust // Lines 182-185 — only effective UID changed; ruid/suid stay 0 fn switch_user(uid: u32) -> Result<(), ScannerError> { debug!("... Becoming user: {uid}"); seteuid(uid.into()).map_err(|e| ScannerError::Errno(e)) } ``` ### 2. Execution of untrusted binary (Go — fingerprint) **File:** `fingerprints/pkg/utils/file.go` ```go // Lines 75-80 — executes a path taken verbatim from workload's argv[0] func GetExecutableVersionOutput(executable string) (string, error) { out, err := exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output() if err != nil { return "", err } return string(out), nil } ``` ### 3. Workload-controlled path forwarded (Rust — version_executable) **File:** `version_executable.rs` ```rust // Lines 29-34 — workload-controlled command_line[0] forwarded to fingerprint return Some(vec![ fpr_kind_executable, out_dir.to_string(), String::from(&process.command_line[0]), String::from(&version_executable.runtime_kind_name), ]); ``` ## Attack Pattern **Attacker:** Any tenant able to schedule a pod (unprivileged, any namespace) **Victim:** The node running the insights-runtime-extractor DaemonSet **Trigger:** Automatic — the DaemonSet scans all container processes on the node **Attack sequence:** 1. Attacker creates a pod whose process name matches a configured versioned-executable pattern (`node`, `python`, `python3`, `MainThread`, or contains `java`) 2. The pod's main binary (at the path matching argv[0]) is a malicious executable that calls `setuid(0)` to restore root 3. When the insights operator triggers a scan, the DaemonSet forks, enters the attacker's mount namespace, and executes the attacker's binary with ruid=0 4. The attacker's code regains full root with `CAP_SYS_ADMIN` in the host user namespace 5. The inherited cwd contains the host CRI-O socket → full node compromise 20 Oct
CVE-2026-31222 8.8 high 0.00% snorkel The snorkel library thru v0.10.0 contains an insecure deserialization vulnerability (CWE-502) in the Trainer.load() method of the Trainer class. The method loads model checkpoint files using torch.load() without enabling the security-restrictive weights_only=True parameter. This default behavior allows the deserialization of arbitrary Python objects via the Pickle module. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a maliciously crafted model file, leading to arbitrary code execution on the victim's system when the file is loaded via the vulnerable method. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-31223 8.8 high 0.00% snorkel The snorkel library thru v0.10.0 contains a critical insecure deserialization vulnerability (CWE-502) in the BaseLabeler.load() method of the BaseLabeler class. The method loads serialized labeler models using the unsafe pickle.load() function on user-supplied file paths without any validation or security controls. Python's pickle module is inherently dangerous for deserializing untrusted data, as it can execute arbitrary code during the deserialization process. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a maliciously crafted pickle file, leading to arbitrary code execution on the victim's system when the file is loaded via the vulnerable method. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-31224 8.8 high 0.00% snorkel The snorkel library thru v0.10.0 contains an insecure deserialization vulnerability (CWE-502) in the MultitaskClassifier.load() method of the MultitaskClassifier class. The method loads model weight files using torch.load() without enabling the security-restrictive weights_only=True parameter. This default behavior allows the deserialization of arbitrary Python objects via the Pickle module. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a maliciously crafted model file, leading to arbitrary code execution on the victim's system when the file is loaded via the vulnerable method. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-31225 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet The superduper project thru v0.10.0 contains a critical remote code execution vulnerability in its query parsing component. The _parse_op_part() function in query.py uses the unsafe eval() function to dynamically evaluate user-supplied query operands without proper sanitization or restriction. Although the function attempts to limit the execution context by providing a restricted global namespace, it does not block access to dangerous built-in functions. A remote attacker can exploit this by submitting a specially crafted query string containing Python code that imports modules (e.g., os) and executes arbitrary system commands, leading to complete compromise of the server. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-108381 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.44.0 through 0.70.5, the Pydantic and AvroDantic model generators insert a schema field's pydantic-class value after pydantic. in a generated field annotation without safely restricting the expression. Because annotations are evaluated when the generated module is imported, a crafted value can execute arbitrary Python code. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by restricting the value to a bare name or a call to a bare name with literal arguments. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108376 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.47.3 through 0.70.5, FieldRepresentation.get_field_default inserts a schema-controlled referenced record name into the callable position of a generated default_factory lambda without validating it as an Avro name. A crafted record name can become an arbitrary Python expression that executes when an instance of the generated model consumes the field default. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by rejecting record names that do not match the Avro name grammar. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-55376 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Heym builds and runs agentic systems and business-process automations on self-hosted infrastructure. Prior to 0.0.40, an authenticated user who can create or edit a workflow with an Agent custom Python tool can bypass the blacklist-based sandbox in backend/app/services/python_tool_executor.py because allowed standard-library modules expose operating-system, process, and filesystem capabilities through public attributes that pass _safe_import() and _validate_code_safety(). The runner then executes the supplied tool with exec(), permitting commands and file operations as the backend application user; self-registration affects reachability, but portal triggering alone does not grant code control. This issue is fixed in 0.0.40. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108379 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, BaseGenerator.parse_fixed inserts a fixed type's namespace value between quotes inside a generated types.confixed annotation without escaping or validating it. A crafted quote can terminate the namespace string and alter the surrounding annotation expression, which Python evaluates when the generated class is defined, allowing arbitrary code execution. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by requiring the namespace to be a dot-separated sequence of valid Avro names. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108380 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.65.9 through 0.70.5, PydanticFieldRepresentation.add_field_properties inserts a schema field's doc value between the quotes of a generated pydantic.Field description argument without escaping it. A crafted quote can terminate the string and inject an expression evaluated during generated class definition, allowing arbitrary Python code execution for Pydantic and AvroDantic model generation. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by escaping the documentation value before rendering it. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108384 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, BaseGenerator.parse_fixed interpolates a fixed type's aliases value directly into a generated types.confixed annotation. A list is represented with quoted entries, but a bare string is emitted as an unquoted Python expression and evaluated when the generated module is imported, allowing arbitrary code execution from a crafted schema. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by rejecting aliases values that are not lists. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108385 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, BaseGenerator.parse_enum and EnumRepresentation.render_symbols use each schema-controlled enum symbol as a generated enum member name after case conversion but without validating it as an identifier. When generator classes are used directly, newlines and punctuation can inject constrained statements into the generated enum class body, allowing namespace modification or preventing the module from loading. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by validating every enum symbol as a name. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108375 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, FieldRepresentation.get_field_default inserts schema-controlled string, UUID, bytes, and fixed field defaults into quoted literals in generated Python source without escaping them. A crafted default can terminate the literal and inject statements into the generated module, which execute when the module is imported. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by escaping schema values rendered into generated string literals. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108377 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.62.3 through 0.70.5, ClassRepresentation.render_metaclass inserts a schema-controlled Avro record name into the quoted Meta.schema_name field of generated Python source without escaping it. A crafted name can terminate the string literal and inject statements into the generated class body, which execute when the generated module is imported. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by escaping schema values rendered into generated string literals. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108378 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.40.0 through 0.70.5, ClassRepresentation.render_docstring copies a schema record's doc value into a generated triple-double-quoted class docstring without escaping quotes or backslashes. A crafted triple-quote sequence can close the docstring and inject statements into the generated class body, while a trailing backslash can escape the generated closing delimiter, allowing Python code execution during module import. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by escaping quotes, backslashes, and unsafe control characters before rendering docstrings. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108382 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, EnumRepresentation.render_symbols concatenates each schema-controlled enum symbol between double quotes in a generated enum assignment. When generator classes are used directly, a quote can terminate the string literal and inject arbitrary Python code into the enum class body, which executes when the generated module is imported. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by escaping enum symbol values before rendering them. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108383 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, FieldRepresentation.get_field_default renders a schema-controlled enum field default as an enum member reference after applying case conversion but without validating it as an identifier. Newlines, operators, and punctuation can escape the intended reference and inject constrained statements into the generated module, allowing namespace modification or preventing the module from loading. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by validating enum defaults as names. 16 Oct
CVE-2025-68158 8.8 high 0.00% authlib Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. In versions 1.0.0 through 1.6.5, cache-backed state/request-token storage is not tied to the initiating user session, so CSRF is possible for any attacker that has a valid state (easily obtainable via an attacker-initiated authentication flow). When a cache is supplied to the OAuth client registry, FrameworkIntegration.set_state_data writes the entire state blob under _state_{app}_{state}, and get_state_data ignores the caller’s session altogether. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.6. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-106558 8.8 high 0.00% linuxfoundation, backstage_plugin-techdocs-node, backstage Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package improperly validated mapping-style markdown_extensions configuration. An authenticated attacker who can register or influence an SCM-backed documentation source may bypass TechDocs sanitization and cause Python objects to be imported and instantiated in the generator runtime, leading to arbitrary code execution. Earlier fixes in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4 did not fully address the supported mapping representation of markdown_extensions. Impact is greatest when documentation generation runs with backend credentials, filesystem access, or internal network access. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-115775 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. Prior to 26.10.0rc1, the twisted.words.xish.domish ExpatElementStream parser allows an unauthenticated remote peer to keep a container element open while continuously adding child elements. The parser retains the unfinished stanza as an in-memory tree without a byte or element-count limit, and XMPP pre-authentication stream parsing exposes this behavior before credentials are accepted. A single connection can therefore exhaust server memory and terminate the process. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.0rc1. 18 h ago
CVE-2019-25781 8.7 high — python-markdown, markdown Python-Markdown 3.0 through 3.11.2 contains an algorithmic complexity vulnerability in inline link parsing that allows remote attackers to exhaust CPU through unmatched brackets. Attackers can submit short Markdown containing repeated [ or ![ characters, forcing LinkInlineProcessor.getText() and getLink() into quadratic scans that keep workers busy for minutes. 23 h ago
CVE-2026-118694 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet python-markdown2 through 2.5.5 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows remote users to exhaust CPU by submitting Markdown with unclosed inline link destinations. Attackers can submit repeated '[a](' or '![a](' sequences, causing _find_balanced to rescan the remaining document for each link and consume quadratic CPU time. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-116588 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Datadog dd-trace-py is the Datadog Python APM client. From 1.5.0 until 3.19.9 and 4.15.6, the default query-string obfuscation regular expression can exhibit excessive backtracking while synchronously processing attacker-controlled URL query strings for HTTP span metadata. A remote attacker can cause prolonged CPU consumption, request latency, and service unavailability in affected HTTP tracing integrations that include query strings in URL span tags. The vulnerable processing is enabled by default for those integrations. This issue is fixed in versions 3.19.9 and 4.15.6. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-112897 8.7 high 0.00% python, pillow Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.3.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can return uninitialized memory as pixels when libtiff performs a short decode of JPEG-compressed or Group 4 fax TIFF data. The _decodeStrip and _decodeTile buffers can be larger than the bytes written by libtiff, but Pillow converts the expected rows without clearing the unwritten tail. The tile path is affected from 5.3.0 and the strip path from 6.0.0. An attacker can supply a crafted TIFF to an application that loads and returns or re-encodes its pixels. This can disclose stale heap contents without memory corruption or a process crash. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-45227 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Heym before 0.0.21 contains a sandbox escape vulnerability in the custom Python tool executor that allows authenticated workflow authors to bypass sandbox restrictions by using object-graph introspection primitives. Attackers can use Python introspection techniques to recover the unrestricted __import__ function, import blocked modules such as os and subprocess, and access inherited backend environment variables containing database credentials and encryption keys to execute arbitrary host commands as the backend service user. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42197 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet RELATE is a web-based courseware package. Versions prior to commit 555f0efb1c5bd7531c07cd73724d7e566a81f620 have a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows any enrolled student to execute arbitrary JavaScript in an administrator's browser session, potentially leading to full admin account takeover. The `get_user()` method in `ParticipationAdmin` renders user-controlled input using `mark_safe` combined with Python's % string formatting. This bypasses Django\'s automatic HTML escaping entirely. The value returned by `get_full_name` is derived directly from the `first_name` and `last_name` fields of the User model. These fields are freely editable by any authenticated user through the profile page (`/profile/`) with no sanitization applied. When an admin views the Participation list in the Django admin panel, the unsanitized value is rendered directly into the HTML response, causing the injected script to execute in the admin's browser. Commit 555f0efb1c5bd7531c07cd73724d7e566a81f620 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-55195 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet py7zr is a Python-based library and utility to support 7zip archive compression, decompression, encryption and decryption. Prior to 1.1.3, py7zr's Worker.decompress() extracted archive entries without tracking total decompressed size, allowing a crafted .7z file such as a 15.6 KB archive that expands to 100 MB to exhaust disk or memory before extraction completes. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.3. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-55206 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet py7zr is a Python-based library and utility to support 7zip archive compression, decompression, encryption and decryption. Prior to 1.1.3, PackInfo._read() in archiveinfo.py used an O(n^2) cumulative sum pattern for attacker-controlled numstreams values parsed from archive headers, allowing a crafted .7z archive to cause excessive CPU consumption during SevenZipFile.init() before extraction. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.3. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-59204 8.7 high 0.00% python, pillow Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 8.2.0 through 12.2.0, src/libImaging/Jpeg2KDecode.c accumulates total_component_width across every tile in a JPEG2000 image instead of recomputing it per tile, allowing a crafted tiled JPEG2000 file to force substantially higher transient memory usage and trigger out-of-memory failures during decoding. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-49852 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet joserfc is a Python library that provides an implementation of several JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) standards. Prior to 1.6.8, joserfc.jwt.decode accepts attacker-forged HMAC-signed tokens when the caller-supplied verification key is the empty string or None, because HMACAlgorithm.sign and HMACAlgorithm.verify in src/joserfc/_rfc7518/jws_algs.py pass the output of OctKey.get_op_key(...) to hmac.new(...) and OctKey.import_key in src/joserfc/_rfc7518/oct_key.py only emits a SecurityWarning for keys shorter than 14 bytes without rejecting zero-length input. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.8. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-8169 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet ExtremeXOS (EXOS) uses a challenge-response mechanism to authorize access to the privileged debug-mode function. The challenge value is generated using an insufficiently random source, which under certain conditions may allow an attacker to predict the expected response and activate debug-mode without authorization. Depending on device configuration and version, this may enable escalation to root-level access and persistent modification of the device software stack. Exploitation requires either a valid low-privilege account on the device (remote scenario) or physical serial console access (local scenario). This vulnerability is distinct from CVE-2017-14329, which addressed a different issue involving Python script privileges. Extreme would like to thank Hadrien Barral (Université Gustave Eiffel) and Georges-Axel Jaloyan (French Ministry of the Interior) for responsible disclosure of their findings. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-69249 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet python-cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers. In versions 42.0.0 through 48.0.0, when resolving invalid certificate chains that include duplicate copies of self-signed certificates, the processing recursively invokes the same candidate, leading to an exponential blowup. Although the limitation that the chain depth cannot exceed a specified maximum depth prevents unbounded recursion and guarantees termination, an attacker-controlled certificate chain can lead the processing to easily take more than 5s to reject in testing. This amplification could form the basis for a resource exhaustion denial of service attack. The core issue arises in the recursive nature of build_chain_inner, which does not de-duplicate against previously analyzed candidates. As the correctness of validation is not affected, the integrity of a system cannot be compromised through this vector, only its availability. This issue is fixed in 49.0.0. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-54284 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet sqlparse is a non-validating SQL parser module for Python. Prior to 0.6.0, TokenList construction and string conversion in sqlparse/sql.py repeatedly flatten nested token subtrees constructed by group_parenthesis and group_case, causing quadratic CPU consumption through sqlparse.parse(), sqlparse.format(), and sqlparse.split() before depth and token limits terminate processing. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.0. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-71491 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet sqlparse is a non-validating SQL parser module for Python. Prior to 0.6.0, group_comments in sqlparse/engine/grouping.py repeatedly rescans comment-only statements before the MAX_GROUPING_TOKENS guard, causing quadratic CPU consumption through sqlparse.parse() and sqlparse.format(sql, strip_comments=True). This issue is fixed in version 0.6.0. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-74874 8.7 high 0.00% jahlives, openssl_encrypt openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 use Python's non-cryptographic random module for steganographic pixel selection in the generate_pseudorandom_sequence function. Attackers who know the password can recover the Mersenne Twister state from approximately 624 outputs and predict pixel locations containing hidden data for extraction. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-10142 8.7 high 0.00% dpkp, kafka-python kafka-python prior to 2.3.2 contains a denial-of-service vulnerability in the protocol parser that allows a malicious broker or machine-in-the-middle attacker to exhaust memory or hang connections by sending a crafted 4-byte frame length value without bounds validation. Attackers can send a specially crafted frame length through the receive_bytes() function to trigger either a multi-gigabyte memory allocation or an uncaught ValueError that leaves the connection in a broken state, causing requests to hang and consumers to stop heartbeating until restart. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-118668 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet langgraph-api implements the LangGraph API for rapid development and testing. From 0.1.2 until 0.15.0, JavaScript or TypeScript custom authentication Store authorization handlers can return a rewritten namespace that is not carried across the runtime boundary and applied before the Store operation. An authenticated user can therefore access another user's Store namespace when a deployment relies on namespace rewriting for isolation, allowing unauthorized reads, overwrites, searches, or deletions. Python custom authentication and handlers that reject unauthorized namespaces instead of rewriting them are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.15.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-118683 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet MONAI from 1.2.0 before 1.6.1 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in ConfigWorkflow.__init__, which passes a bundle's configs/logging.conf to logging.config.fileConfig that eval()s handler class and args fields. Attackers can publish a malicious bundle whose logging.conf runs arbitrary Python at workflow construction when a victim loads or runs the bundle. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-42079 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet PPTAgent is an agentic framework for reflective PowerPoint generation. Prior to commit 418491a, PPTAgent is vulnerable to arbitrary code execution via Python eval() of LLM-generated code with builtins in scope. This issue has been patched via commit 418491a. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-55441 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet mise manages dev tools like node, python, cmake, and terraform. Prior to 2026.6.4, mise's trust feature gates config files (mise.toml, .tool-versions) through trust_check, but task-include files are loaded on a path that never reaches it. When a directory has a task-include dir (mise-tasks/, .mise/tasks/, …) but no config file, mise falls back to the default includes and renders each task's tera fields — and that tera environment has exec() registered. A {{ exec(command='…') }} in any rendered field runs arbitrary commands the moment the tasks are merely listed. There's no config file to gate on, so no trust prompt ever appears. Read-only commands trigger it: mise tasks, mise task ls, mise run, mise tasks --usage (the query shell completion runs on Tab). The victim only has to cd into a cloned repo and list or tab-complete a task. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.6.4. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-61446 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet PraisonAI (praisonaiagents) before 1.6.78 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the plugin manager, which loads and executes arbitrary Python (.py) files from project-level and user-home .praisonai/plugins/ directories using importlib spec_from_file_location() and exec_module() without code signing, integrity verification, or sandboxing. An attacker who can write a malicious .py file to a plugin directory (for example via path traversal, a supply chain attack, or a compromised dependency) achieves arbitrary code execution when the plugin system initializes. CVE-2026-65908 8.6 high 0.00% jetbrains, pycharm In JetBrains PyCharm before 2026.1.4, 2026.2 arbitrary code execution via malicious Python executable was possible on untrusted project open Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-115419 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet The A2A server component in Amazon Strands Agents SDK for Python before 1.43.0 and Amazon Strands Agents SDK for TypeScript before 1.5.0 does not properly isolate conversation state between callers. An authenticated remote user could read other tenants' conversation history and add persistent instructions that alter model behavior for subsequent callers via HTTP requests to the A2A endpoint using a different context_id. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to strands-agents 1.43.0 (Python) or @strands-agents/sdk 1.5.0 (TypeScript). Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-9906 8.6 high 0.00% keras The Keras Model.load_model method can be exploited to achieve arbitrary code execution, even with safe_mode=True. One can create a specially crafted .keras model archive that, when loaded via Model.load_model, will trigger arbitrary code to be executed. This is achieved by crafting a special config.json (a file within the .keras archive) that will invoke keras.config.enable_unsafe_deserialization() to disable safe mode. Once safe mode is disable, one can use the Lambda layer feature of keras, which allows arbitrary Python code in the form of pickled code. Both can appear in the same archive. Simply the keras.config.enable_unsafe_deserialization() needs to appear first in the archive and the Lambda with arbitrary code needs to be second. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-33793 8.5 high 0.00% juniper, junos, junos_os_evolved An Execution with Unnecessary Privileges vulnerability in the User Interface (UI) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a local, low-privileged attacker to gain root privileges, thus compromising the system. When a configuration that allows unsigned Python op scripts is present on the device, a non-root user is able to execute malicious op scripts as a root-equivalent user, leading to privilege escalation. This issue affects Junos OS: * All versions before 22.4R3-S7, * from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S4, * from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S6, * from 24.2 before 24.2R1-S2, 24.2R2, * from 24.4 before 24.4R1-S2, 24.4R2; Junos OS Evolved: * All versions before 22.4R3-S7-EVO, * from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S4-EVO, * from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S6-EVO, * from 24.2 before 24.2R2-EVO, * from 24.4 before 24.4R1-S1-EVO, 24.4R2-EVO. CVE-2026-53511 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet calibre is an e-book manager. Prior to 9.10.0, a malicious EPUB, OPF, or PDF file can execute arbitrary Python code when its metadata is read by calibre, including through Add books or Edit books, by embedding a custom column definition with a python: template in calibre:user_metadata that is passed unsanitized to exec() in the template formatter. This issue is fixed in version 9.10.0. Sun 25 Oct
