CVE-2026-54306 6.3 medium 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.25.7 and 2.26.2, a prototype pollution vulnerability allowed a crafted public webhook payload to inject attacker-controlled fields into workflow data during internal object copying. These fields could be surfaced and consumed as normal values by downstream built-in nodes. Where a workflow combines a public webhook with action nodes that consume the resulting fields, an attacker could cause the workflow to act as a confused deputy — targeting unintended records or issuing outbound requests using the workflow owner's configured credentials. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.25.7 and 2.26.2. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54308 6.3 medium 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.25.7 and 2.26.2, the MicrosoftAgent365Trigger and StripeTrigger node did not validate that inbound requests. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker who knows the webhook URL could submit a forged payload and cause the workflow to execute with attacker-controlled data. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.25.7 and 2.26.2. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-56349 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet n8n before version 2.10.0 contains an input validation vulnerability in the Guardrail node that allows attackers to bypass default guardrail instructions. End users can craft malicious inputs to circumvent guardrail protections and compromise workflow integrity. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-59254 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet n8n before 2.28.1 contains an information disclosure vulnerability where external secrets are incorrectly resolved in workflow node expressions outside credentials scope. Authenticated project editors can read plaintext external secret values by referencing them in node expressions without requiring explicit secrets access permissions. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-61646 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FastGPT is a knowledge-based AI application platform. Prior to 4.15.0-beta5, FastGPT's shared SSRF guard validates only the initial request URL before handing the request to axios, and axios follows redirects by default. An authenticated workflow user can configure an HTTP request node to call an attacker-controlled public URL that redirects to cloud metadata, loopback, or internal services that the guard would block on direct request, and the HTTP node returns the response body to the workflow caller. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0-beta5. 24 Oct

CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N). Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-36054 6.1 medium 0.00% ibm, business_automation_workflow, process_federation_server IBM Business Automation Workflow containers 24.0.0 through 24.0.0-IF006, 24.0.1 through 24.0.1-IF004, 25.0.0 through 25.0.0-IF001 and IBM Business Automation Workflow traditional with Process Federation Server 24.0.0 through 24.0.1 and 25.0.0 are vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-103523 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Thelia v2.6.0 contains an open redirect vulnerability in its address creation workflow. After a user accesses a crafted URL and successfully submits the “Add New Address” form, the application redirects them to the URL specified in the `next` parameter. Because the application does not validate whether the destination belongs to the same origin or an approved allowlist, an attacker can supply an arbitrary external URL and redirect users to an attacker-controlled website. 16 Oct
CVE-2025-53052 6.1 medium 0.00% oracle, workflow Vulnerability in the Oracle Workflow product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Workflow Notification Mailer). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.14. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Workflow. CVE-2026-12527 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet A broken authorization boundary in the RTSP media delivery pipeline of Shenzhen Liandian Communication Technology LTD V380 IP Camera firmware AppFHE1_V1.0.6.020230803 enables unauthenticated network actors to bypass the device’s credential-enforced live-view workflow and directly retrieve real-time video stream data. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54311 6.0 medium 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.25.7 and 2.26.2, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could pollute the sandbox used by the Merge node's SQL Query mode. Because the sandbox context was cached and reused across all workflow executions on the instance, prototype mutations introduced by one user's workflow persist into subsequent Merge SQL executions belonging to other users or projects. This allowed a low-privileged attacker to intercept workflow data processed by other users on the same instance. This issue only affects multi-user n8n instances where more than one user has permission to create and execute workflows containing the Merge node in SQL Query mode. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.25.7 and 2.26.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-59259 6.0 medium 0.00% n8n n8n before versions 1.123.61, 2.27.4, and 2.28.1 contains a permission bypass vulnerability in external secrets handling caused by a mismatch between the static validation check and the runtime expression engine. An authenticated user with credential create or update permissions but without the externalSecret:list scope can embed external secret references into credentials in forms the static validation does not detect; these references resolve at workflow execution time, exposing secret values the user is not authorized to access. This issue only affects instances where an external secrets provider is configured and Advanced Permissions are in use. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-89140 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Temporal Server does not bind internal completion callbacks to the namespace that attached them, which allows an authenticated caller with write permission in one namespace to alter Scheduler V2 schedule state in another namespace. The callback address temporal://internal is reserved for callbacks that Scheduler V2 attaches to the Workflows it starts. In affected releases, any authenticated caller could attach a callback with that address to a Workflow start request, the address was exempt from the component.callbacks.allowedAddresses allowlist, and the History service delivered the callback to the component its token named, in whatever namespace that was, without authorizing the original caller there. When the forged completion matches an action a target schedule is running, the schedule records the action as completed while its Workflow still runs, which can defeat an overlap policy such as SKIP, and passes caller-controlled data to the next scheduled Workflow as its last completion result. A forged failure may also pause a schedule configured to pause on failure. A forgery requires the target namespace identifier, the schedule identifier, and the identity and timing of a running action. No disclosure of Workflow payloads or history was identified. Only namespaces that hold Scheduler V2 schedules can be targeted; Scheduler V2 is off by default, and existing Scheduler V2 schedules remain targets after the settings that create them are turned off. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-110848 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet n8n before 1.123.83, 2.x before 2.41.4, and 2.42.x before 2.42.1 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability in the AI workflow builder, which merges workflow connections using node names as object members without checking for reserved keys. Authenticated users can create nodes named __proto__ through the API and invoke the connect-nodes operation to pollute the global object prototype, disrupting the instance until restart. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-93861 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the workflow membership API lets a project that has accepted a share of another project's private workflow create a further membership naming a third project. The new membership row is created with its project_id defaulted to the accepting project rather than the original workflow owner, and thus the owner can neither see nor delete it. The third project can accept this membership (that it had not actually been granted by the owner), and then read and execute the owner's private workflow; only the accepting (not the owning) project can later revoke that access. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-92588 5.9 medium 0.00% n8n-io, n8n n8n is a workflow automation platform. In n8n versions before 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2, the source control push endpoint derived the set of files to push from the file paths and status supplied in the client request payload instead of from the server-side status computed for the requesting user. An authenticated project-scoped user (e.g., a project admin) could therefore reference files belonging to projects they have no access to and push a deletion of those projects' workflows and credentials, resulting in cross-project data destruction. Exploitation requires the Source Control (Environments) enterprise feature to be licensed, enabled, and connected to a remote repository. The issue is fixed in 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-61643 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FastGPT is a knowledge-based AI application platform. From 4.14.17 until 4.15.0-beta5, an authenticated FastGPT user can save a workflow node that points to another user's private HTTP toolset by using a crafted saved tool id such as http-<victim_toolset_app_id>/<tool_name>. The normal toolset routes deny access, but the workflow save and runtime path did not apply the same authorization check to the referenced toolset, allowing /api/v2/chat/completions to resolve the saved reference and execute the victim-owned HTTP tool. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0-beta5. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-115207 5.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in GNU patch. An attacker can achieve arbitrary file creation outside the intended working directory by enticing a user or automated workflow to apply a specially crafted patch file. Due to missing validation during automatic patch reversal, absolute file paths in patch headers are accepted rather than rejected. Consequently, the utility can create files in arbitrary locations with the permissions of the executing user. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-39417 5.5 medium 0.00% maxkb MaxKB is an open-source AI assistant for enterprise. Versions 2.7.1 and below contain an incomplete fix for CVE-2025-53928, where a Remote Code Execution vulnerability still exists in the MCP node of the workflow engine. MaxKB only restricts the referencing code path (loading MCP config from the database). The else branch, responsible for loading mcp_servers directly from user-supplied JSON remains completely unpatched. Since mcp_source is an optional field (required=False), an attacker can simply omit it or set it to any non-referencing value to bypass the fix. By calling the workflow creation API directly with a crafted JSON payload, an attacker can inject a complete MCP node configuration with stdio transport, arbitrary command, and args — achieving RCE when the workflow is triggered via chat. This issue has been fixed in version 2.8.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34302 5.5 medium 0.00% oracle, workflow Vulnerability in the Oracle Workflow product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Workflow Loader). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Workflow. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Workflow, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Workflow accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Workflow. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.5 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:L/A:L). Mon 26 Oct

Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-116563 5.4 medium 0.00% smub, photo gallery, sliders, proofing and themes – nextgen gallery The Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes – NextGEN Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the site to have Shutter or Shutter Reloaded selected as the active lightbox, and the injected comment must be approved through WordPress's standard moderation workflow before the payload is rendered to other visitors. 4 h ago
CVE-2026-34307 5.4 medium 0.00% oracle, peoplesoft_enterprise_peopletools Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools product of Oracle PeopleSoft (component: Workflow). Supported versions that are affected are 8.61-8.62. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.4 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N). Mon 26 Oct

A verification code issued for one email-based workflow could be accepted by another sensitive workflow because the code purpose was not properly enforced. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.3, which fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-56823 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet AutoGPT is a workflow automation platform for creating, deploying, and managing continuous artificial intelligence agents. Prior to , the `POST /api/integrations/webhooks/{webhook_id}/ping` endpoint fetches the target webhook by primary key alone without verifying that the webhook belongs to the authenticated user. Any authenticated user can supply an arbitrary webhook_id to confirm webhook existence, leak the webhook's OAuth provider type, and in some cases trigger a ping delivery on behalf of another user. This vulnerability is fixed in . 25 Oct
CVE-2026-55608 5.4 medium 0.00% n8n-mcp n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. Prior to 2.57.4, multi-tenant HTTP mode with ENABLE_MULTI_TENANT=true could allow an authenticated tenant to access default-scope workflow_versions backups instead of being confined to the tenant scope, exposing or deleting workflow-version backups from prior single-tenant deployments or migrations. This issue is fixed in version 2.57.4. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-18266 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Dify AI Workflow oauth_redirect_url Open Redirect Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Dify. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the OAuth flow handling in the AppInitializer component. An attacker can force a redirection to a site that serves malicious content. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose information in the context of the application. Was ZDI-CAN-29196. 24 Oct
CVE-2025-58177 5.4 medium 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. From 1.24.0 to before 1.107.0, there is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in @n8n/n8n-nodes-langchain.chatTrigger. An authorized user can configure the LangChain Chat Trigger node with malicious JavaScript in the initialMessages field and enable public access so that the payload is executed in the browser of any user who visits the resulting public chat URL. This can be used for phishing or to steal cookies or other sensitive data from users accessing the public chat link. The issue is fixed in version 1.107.0. Updating to 1.107.0 or later is recommended. As a workaround, the affected chatTrigger node can be disabled. No other workarounds are known. 19 Oct

This vulnerability allows an authenticated user to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-78359 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OTRS does not sufficiently enforce the uniqueness of customer user identities across multiple configured CustomerUser backends. When multiple backends, such as a database and LDAP, are configured, the uniqueness check for customer user email addresses is performed only within the selected backend. As a result, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify customer users may create a customer user whose email address is already assigned to a customer user in another backend. This can result in multiple customer user records representing the same communication identity. Depending on the affected workflow and backend resolution, customer-related information or email communication may subsequently be associated with or exposed to the wrong customer user. The vulnerability does not allow unauthenticated users to create customer accounts. Exploitation requires permissions to create or modify customer users. This issue affects OTRS: * 7.0.X * 8.0.X * 2023.X * 2024.X * 2025.X * 2026.X before 2026.7.X Please note that ((OTRS)) Community Edition 6.x and before are vulnerable. Products based on the ((OTRS)) Community Edition also very likely to be affected 15 Oct
CVE-2025-61914 5.4 medium 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to version 1.114.0, a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability may occur in n8n when using the “Respond to Webhook” node. When this node responds with HTML content containing executable scripts, the payload may execute directly in the top-level window, rather than within the expected sandbox introduced in version 1.103.0. This behavior can enable a malicious actor with workflow creation permissions to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the n8n editor interface. This issue has been patched in version 1.114.0. Workarounds for this issue involve restricting workflow creation and modification privileges to trusted users only, avoiding use of untrusted HTML responses in the “Respond to Webhook” node, and using an external reverse proxy or HTML sanitizer to filter responses that include executable scripts. 13 Oct
CVE-2025-68697 5.4 medium 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to version 2.0.0, in self-hosted n8n instances where the Code node runs in legacy (non-task-runner) JavaScript execution mode, authenticated users with workflow editing access can invoke internal helper functions from within the Code node. This allows a workflow editor to perform actions on the n8n host with the same privileges as the n8n process, including: reading files from the host filesystem (subject to any file-access restrictions configured on the instance and OS/container permissions), and writing files to the host filesystem (subject to the same restrictions). This issue has been patched in version 2.0.0. Workarounds for this issue involve limiting file operations by setting N8N_RESTRICT_FILE_ACCESS_TO to a dedicated directory (e.g., ~/.n8n-files) and ensure it contains no sensitive data, keeping N8N_BLOCK_FILE_ACCESS_TO_N8N_FILES=true (default) to block access to .n8n and user-defined config files, and disabling high-risk nodes (including the Code node) using NODES_EXCLUDE if workflow editors are not fully trusted. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-92587 5.3 medium 0.00% n8n-io, n8n n8n is a workflow automation platform. In versions before 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2, the Git node validated a relative remote URL against the configured repositoryPath but then invoked git with that path as its working directory; git walked up to the enclosing repository's top level and resolved the same relative URL from there. An authenticated user (member) who nested the repository one level below the configured path could therefore make an identical URL string pass the file-access check while git resolved it outside the sandbox. A subsequent fetch or pull read a git repository outside N8N_RESTRICT_FILE_ACCESS_TO and merged its objects into the user's own repository, where their contents could be read back. The issue is fixed in n8n 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2, which resolve the remote reference from the directory git actually operates in before applying the sandbox check. As a workaround, the Git node can be disabled by adding n8n-nodes-base.git to NODES_EXCLUDE. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-85173 5.3 medium 0.00% n8n-io, n8n n8n versions before 2.36.2 contain a missing per-project authorization vulnerability in the Insights API routes that allows authenticated users with insights scopes to access workflow names and execution statistics across projects. Attackers can supply arbitrary projectId parameters to retrieve sensitive project and workflow information from projects they have no membership in. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-56776 5.3 medium 0.00% n8n n8n before 1.123.55, 2.25.7, and 2.26.2 contains an authorization bypass in the POST /workflows/{workflowId}/test-runs/new endpoint, which authorizes access using the workflow:read scope instead of workflow:execute. An authenticated user with read-only access to a workflow can trigger a real evaluation test run, causing the workflow to execute via the internal workflow runner and resulting in unintended outbound API calls, data mutations, or other side effects in connected downstream systems. The issue primarily affects instances using the Evaluations feature where RBAC project roles grant workflow:read without workflow:execute. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-56775 5.3 medium 0.00% n8n n8n before 1.123.55, 2.25.7, and 2.26.2 contains an authorization vulnerability in three mutating evaluation test-run endpoints that authorize state-changing actions using the workflow:read scope instead of the action-appropriate workflow:execute scope. On instances using Advanced Permissions (Enterprise/Cloud) with projects and viewer roles, an authenticated user with the project:viewer role can start new evaluation test runs, cancel in-flight runs, and delete run records for workflows they only have read access to. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-118647 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet n8n before 1.123.85, 2.x before 2.43.5, and 2.44.x before 2.44.1 saves the SeaTable Trigger node's API token in error execution data, because failed poll requests store raw request headers. Users who can view workflow executions but cannot read the credential can recover the token and access the connected SeaTable base. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-118643 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet n8n before 1.123.85, 2.x before 2.43.5, and 2.44.x before 2.44.1 stores credential secrets in execution error data when operations fail in the Git, MongoDB Atlas Vector Store, and Google Cloud Storage nodes. Users who can view a workflow's executions but cannot read the credential can recover Git passwords or tokens, MongoDB database passwords, or Google access tokens from that data. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-40099 5.3 medium 0.00% getkirby, kirby Kirby is an open-source content management system. Kirby's user permissions control which user role is allowed to perform specific actions to content models in the CMS. These permissions are defined for each role in the user blueprint (`site/blueprints/users/...`). It is also possible to customize the permissions for each target model in the model blueprints (such as in `site/blueprints/pages/...`) using the `options` feature. The permissions and options together control the authorization of user actions. For pages, Kirby provides the `pages.create` and `pages.changeStatus` permissions (among others). Prior to versions 4.9.0 and 5.4.0, Kirby checked these permissions independently and only for the respective action. However the `changeStatus` permission didn't take effect on page creation. New pages are created as drafts by default and need to be published by changing the page status of an existing page draft. This is ensured when the page is created via the Kirby Panel. However the REST API allows to override the `isDraft` flag when creating a new page. This allowed authenticated attackers with the `pages.create` permission to immediately create published pages, bypassing the normal editorial workflow. The problem has been patched in Kirby 4.9.0 and Kirby 5.4.0. Kirby has added a check to the page creation rules that ensures that users without the `pages.changeStatus` permission cannot create published pages, only page drafts. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-35583 5.3 medium 0.00% nsa, emissary Emissary is a P2P based data-driven workflow engine. Prior to 8.39.0, the configuration API endpoint (/api/configuration/{name}) validated configuration names using a blacklist approach that checked for \, /, .., and trailing .. This could potentially be bypassed using URL-encoded variants, double-encoding, or Unicode normalization to achieve path traversal and read configuration files outside the intended directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.39.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42229 5.3 medium 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, a flaw in the SeaTable node's row:search and row:get operations allowed user-controlled input to be concatenated directly into SQL query strings without escaping or parameterization. In workflows where external user input is passed via expressions into the SeaTable node's search or row retrieval parameters, an attacker could manipulate the constructed query to retrieve unintended rows from the connected SeaTable base, bypassing row-level filtering logic implemented in the workflow. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-56778 5.3 medium 0.00% n8n n8n before 2.25.7 and 2.26.x before 2.26.2 contains an authorization bypass in the Public API execution retry endpoint, which authorizes access using the workflow:read scope instead of workflow:execute. An authenticated user with read-only access to a shared workflow can use the Public API to retry executions of that workflow, bypassing the intended permission boundary between read and execute access. This affects instances where workflows are shared with other users or across projects. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-72750 5.3 medium 0.00% n8n n8n before 1.123.67, 2.31.5, and 2.32.1 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the Snowflake node's Execute Query operation, which interpolates expression values directly into the SQL string. When a workflow author embeds untrusted, externally-controlled expression data directly in a raw SQL query, that data is not parameterized, allowing SQL injection. The fix adds an optional 'Query Parameters' field to bind values via positional placeholders. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-17350 5.3 medium 0.00% pgadmin, pgadmin_4 The per-tool permission system (custom roles / role-based tool permissions, introduced in pgAdmin 4 9.3) did not enforce its permission check consistently. In SERVER mode, pgAdmin 4 gates each tool behind a per-tool Flask-Security permission, but the permission decorator (permissions_required) was applied only to a single "front door" route per tool. Every other backend route and Socket.IO handler in that tool's workflow relied solely on pga_login_required/socket_login_required, which check authentication but not the tool permission. The reporter verified three cases against a test build: (1) a user without tools_query_tool permission received 403 on the protected sqleditor initialization route, but the same session went on to connect the server, initialize the viewdata backend chain, and retrieve real table row content; (2) a user without tools_grant_wizard received 403 on the protected acl route, but the same session still enumerated grantable objects, generated GRANT SQL, and successfully applied it -- confirmed database-side via has_table_privilege(); (3) a user without tools_schema_diff received 403 on the protected panel route, but the same session initialized schema diff, enumerated and connected databases, and obtained real DDL differences via the compare_database Socket.IO handler. The reporter also confirmed a related but distinct issue: a non-owner triggering /misc/workspace/adhoc_connect_server against an administrator-owned shared server caused pgAdmin to persist a new server row still owned by the administrator (user_id/shared unchanged from the source), even though the connection attempt itself reported failure. During remediation, the same front-door-only permission gap was found to also affect the ERD, PSQL, and Debugger tools, and the Backup, Restore, Maintenance, and Import/Export blueprints, none of which were part of the original report; these were fixed using the same pattern as an extension of the reported defect class. An authenticated user who had valid pgAdmin login and a stored, working database connection, but had been explicitly denied a specific tool's permission by an administrator, could therefore still drive that tool end-to-end through its other routes and sockets, including obtaining an interactive psql session over the /pty Socket.IO namespace and invoking backup/restore/maintenance/import-export jobs. Because the bypass only restores access to tools operating over the user's own already-authenticated database connection, it does not grant the user any database privilege they did not already hold; it circumvents pgAdmin's own tool-level access-control policy (an organisational segregation-of-duties control, separate from database-level authorization), letting a user reach a pgAdmin feature an administrator intended to withhold from them, using capabilities their existing database role already permits through other means. Socket.IO event handlers had no permission-aware equivalent of permissions_required; only socket_login_required existed, checking authentication but not the tool permission. Fix adds a socket_permissions_required decorator (mirroring permissions_required, honouring the Administrator bypass, reading permissions via has_permission()) and applies it, alongside permissions_required, as the outermost decorator on every backend route and Socket.IO handler for the affected tools. Regression tests assert 403 on every gated route and socket handler for a permission-less user. This issue affects pgAdmin 4 in SERVER mode: from 9.3 before 9.17. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-19579 5.3 medium 0.00% snipeitapp, snipe-it Snipe-IT before 8.6.0 contains an authorization bypass (insecure direct object reference) in the asset checkout-request cancellation endpoint. The cancel_by_admin and requestingUser values are read from user-controlled URL path segments and used without a server-side authorization check, so any authenticated, low-privileged user can supply a non-empty cancel_by_admin value to bypass the request-ownership check and cancel another user's pending checkout request. Because asset and user identifiers are sequential integers, an attacker can enumerate them to cancel every pending checkout request, disrupting the asset-request workflow. This is fixed in Snipe-IT 8.6.0. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-62291 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted image sequence with a 2x2 primary plane and a 256x256 auxiliary alpha plane can cause attacker-controlled heap corruption during a normal decode and re-encode workflow. Track_Visual::decode_next_image_sample() calls transfer_channel_from_image_as() without checking that the auxiliary alpha dimensions match the main frame. The resulting inconsistent image reaches heif_track_decode_next_image() and then heif_context_encode_image(). In unc_encoder::encode(), unc_encoder_component_interleave::encode_tile() sizes its buffer with compute_tile_data_size_bytes() using the primary dimensions but copies each component using its actual plane dimensions. The oversized alpha plane is therefore copied beyond the allocation, causing an out-of-bounds write; the inverse size mismatch can also produce an out-of-bounds read. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-115454 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet An excessive resource allocation issue in the remote workflow editing capabilities of KNIME Business Hub prior to version 1.19.0 allows a authenticated attack to exhaust resources on the server side. This leads to intermittent unavailability of workflow execution functionality. A workaround is not possible. 22 Oct
