| CVE-2022-2153 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s KVM when attempting to set a SynIC IRQ. This issue makes it possible for a misbehaving VMM to write to SYNIC/STIMER MSRs, causing a NULL pointer dereference. This flaw allows an unprivileged local attacker on the host to issue specific ioctl calls, causing a kernel oops condition that results in a denial of service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-1852 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux | A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s KVM module, which can lead to a denial of service in the x86_emulate_insn in arch/x86/kvm/emulate.c. This flaw occurs while executing an illegal instruction in guest in the Intel CPU. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-1184 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, debian_linux | A use-after-free flaw was found in fs/ext4/namei.c:dx_insert_block() in the Linux kernel’s filesystem sub-component. This flaw allows a local attacker with a user privilege to cause a denial of service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-0171 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, debian_linux | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. The existing KVM SEV API has a vulnerability that allows a non-root (host) user-level application to crash the host kernel by creating a confidential guest VM instance in AMD CPU that supports Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV). | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19548 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | redhat, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | Multiple Use-After-Free vulnerabilities were found in the add_archive_element function in ld/ldmain.c of the GNU linker (ld), a component of binutils. The root cause is that plugin_maybe_claim() in ld/plugin.c frees the original BFD object via bfd_close/_bfd_delete_bfd when entry->the_bfd->my_archive == NULL, but the caller retains both the original abfd parameter and a shallow copy (orig_input.the_bfd) as dangling pointers. These dangling pointers are subsequently dereferenced at three distinct locations in add_archive_element: 1. Line ~1442: accessing abfd->my_archive via bfd_usrdata(abfd->my_archive) 2. Line ~1493: multiple accesses to abfd and abfd->my_archive in a conditional check and bfd_get_filename call 3. Line ~1525: dereferencing the shallow copy orig_input.the_bfd->my_archive in trace/verbose logging The vulnerability is triggered when LTO plugins are active (link_info.lto_plugin_active is true) and the input object has abfd->my_archive == NULL, which is a valid state for standalone object files. Red Hat builds binutils with --enable-plugins and --enable-lto, confirming the vulnerable code path is compiled in and reachable. An attacker who can supply a crafted object or archive file to a build process using LTO-enabled linking could exploit this flaw to cause a denial of service (linker crash via segmentation fault). Arbitrary code execution is theoretically possible through heap manipulation but is substantially mitigated by hardening measures including stack protector, FORTIFY_SOURCE, ASLR, and PIE. The attack surface is limited to build-time environments — the linker is a development tool not exposed in production runtime. The most realistic exploitation scenario is a supply chain attack introducing a crafted object file as a build dependency in CI/CD pipelines or development environments. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2023-4459 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux | A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in vmxnet3_rq_cleanup in drivers/net/vmxnet3/vmxnet3_drv.c in the networking sub-component in vmxnet3 in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow a local attacker with normal user privilege to cause a denial of service due to a missing sanity check during cleanup. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-20320 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in s390 eBPF JIT in bpf_jit_insn in arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c in the Linux kernel. In this flaw, a local attacker with special user privilege can circumvent the verifier and may lead to a confidentiality problem. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-7500 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | When Keycloak is started with `--features-disabled=account,account-api`, the Account REST API is only partially disabled. Five endpoints under the versioned path `/account/v1alpha1` remain fully functional — including both read and write operations — because they lack the `checkAccountApiEnabled()` gate that correctly blocks four other endpoints in the same REST service class. The user needs to have permissions to use the API. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-4325 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak. The SingleUseObjectProvider, a global key-value store, lacks proper type and namespace isolation. This vulnerability allows an attacker to delete arbitrary single-use entries, which can enable the replay of consumed action tokens, such as password reset links. This could lead to unauthorized access or account compromise. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-37977 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak. A remote attacker can exploit a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) header injection vulnerability in Keycloak's User-Managed Access (UMA) token endpoint. This flaw occurs because the `azp` claim from a client-supplied JSON Web Token (JWT) is used to set the `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` header before the JWT signature is validated. When a specially crafted JWT with an attacker-controlled `azp` value is processed, this value is reflected as the CORS origin, even if the grant is later rejected. This can lead to the exposure of low-sensitivity information from authorization server error responses, weakening origin isolation, but only when a target client is misconfigured with `webOrigins: ["*"]`. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-2708 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | gnome, redhat, libsoup, enterprise_linux | A request smuggling vulnerability exists in libsoup's HTTP/1 header parsing logic. The soup_message_headers_append_common() function in libsoup/soup-message-headers.c unconditionally appends each header value without validating for duplicate or conflicting Content-Length fields. This allows an attacker to send HTTP requests containing multiple Content-Length headers with differing values. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9803 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak's ClientRegistrationAuth component. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted POST request with a malformed 'Authorization: Bearer' header to any client registration endpoint. This can lead to an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException, causing the server to return an HTTP 500 error and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected service. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104047 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to use Microsoft Entra ID, search inputs are not properly sanitized before being incorporated into directory query filters. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted lookup request, manipulating the query logic to cause unauthorized information disclosure from the directory. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71227 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | redhat, smuellerdd, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform, libkcapi | A flaw was found in libkcapi. A local attacker can influence an application that uses the Asynchronous Input/Output (AIO) interface. By reusing an AIO-enabled handle after a prior completion error, the _kcapi_aio_read_all() function can enter a non-terminating wait loop. This can lead to a persistent denial of service, making the affected application or thread unresponsive. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6845 | 5.0 medium | 0.00% | gnu, redhat, binutils, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform | A flaw was found in binutils, specifically within the `readelf` utility. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by tricking a user into processing a specially crafted Executable and Linkable Format (ELF) file. The exploitation of this flaw can lead to the system becoming unresponsive due to excessive resource consumption or a program crash. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9801 | 4.9 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak. A remote attacker with high privileges, such as a realm administrator configuring a malicious Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server or an attacker compromising an upstream LDAP server, could exploit this vulnerability. By sending a malformed LDAP password policy response during a password authentication request, the attacker can trigger an OutOfMemoryError. This causes the Keycloak Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to terminate, leading to a denial of service (DoS) for all realms on the affected node. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-37978 | 4.9 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak. A low-privilege administrator with the 'view-clients' role can exploit this by invoking the 'evaluate-scopes' Admin API endpoints with an arbitrary user ID (userId) parameter. This vulnerability allows for cross-role personally identifiable information (PII) leakage, enabling unauthorized visibility into user identities and authorizations across the realm. Exploitation is possible remotely via network access to the Admin API. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-13434 | 4.9 medium | 0.00% | kubevirt, redhat, openshift_virtualization | A flaw was found in KubeVirt's network annotation generator. When a tenant creates a VirtualMachineInstance with a Multus network configuration, the supplied networkName value is written verbatim into the launcher pod's v1.multus-cni.io/default-network annotation without format validation or sanitization. The only admission check rejects empty strings; no DNS-1123 format validation, JSON detection, or special character rejection is performed. When the ExternalNetResourceInjection Beta feature gate is enabled (off by default, cluster-admin only), the NAD lookup that would otherwise catch malformed names is skipped by design. A tenant with kubevirt.io:edit permissions can inject a JSON-formatted NetworkSelectionElement array specifying an arbitrary namespace, NAD name, static IP address, and MAC address. Multus on the node parses this JSON and attaches the launcher pod to the specified network attachment in any namespace, enabling cross-namespace network access and IP/MAC impersonation on network segments normally segregated from tenant workloads. The ExternalNetResourceInjection feature gate was introduced in KubeVirt v1.8.0 (first shipped in OpenShift Virtualization 4.21). | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-37980 | 4.8 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak, specifically in the organization selection login page. A remote attacker with `manage-realm` or `manage-organizations` administrative privileges can exploit a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This flaw occurs because the `organization.alias` is placed into an inline JavaScript `onclick` handler, allowing a crafted JavaScript payload to execute in a user's browser when they view the login page. Successful exploitation enables arbitrary JavaScript execution, potentially leading to session theft, unauthorized account actions, or further attacks against users of the affected realm. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2013-4235 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | debian, fedoraproject, shadow, debian_linux, fedora | shadow: TOCTOU (time-of-check time-of-use) race condition when copying and removing directory trees | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104045 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD. A local user can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by exploiting a race condition in the autofs responder between asynchronous enumeration completion and map invalidation. By repeatedly sending concurrent map enumeration and invalidation requests, an attacker can cause memory to leak, leading to excessive memory consumption that can disrupt or crash the autofs service. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2019-19066 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | linux, canonical, linux_kernel, ubuntu_linux, debian_linux | A memory leak in the bfad_im_get_stats() function in drivers/scsi/bfa/bfad_attr.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering bfa_port_get_stats() failures, aka CID-0e62395da2bd. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2019-15807 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, enterprise_linux | In the Linux kernel before 5.1.13, there is a memory leak in drivers/scsi/libsas/sas_expander.c when SAS expander discovery fails. This will cause a BUG and denial of service. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-13316 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman | A flaw has been found in foreman when HTTP parameters are modified in http_proxies_controller and http_proxy files. Attackers can perform an SSRF attack and steal cloud metadata service on AWS/GCP/Azure environment through foreman component. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2023-39194 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, fedora | A flaw was found in the XFRM subsystem in the Linux kernel. The specific flaw exists within the processing of state filters, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, potentially leading to an information disclosure. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-3773 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | redhat, fedoraproject, enterprise_linux, fedora, linux_kernel | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to cause a 4 byte out-of-bounds read of XFRMA_MTIMER_THRESH when parsing netlink attributes, leading to potential leakage of sensitive heap data to userspace. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2023-3772 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | redhat, fedoraproject, enterprise_linux, enterprise_linux_for_real_time, enterprise_linux_for_real_time_for_nfv | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to directly dereference a NULL pointer in xfrm_update_ae_params(), leading to a possible kernel crash and denial of service. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2023-3212 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, enterprise_linux | A NULL pointer dereference issue was found in the gfs2 file system in the Linux kernel. It occurs on corrupt gfs2 file systems when the evict code tries to reference the journal descriptor structure after it has been freed and set to NULL. A privileged local user could use this flaw to cause a kernel panic. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-25639 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, openshift_container_platform | A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel's GPU Nouveau driver functionality in versions prior to 5.12-rc1 in the way the user calls ioctl DRM_IOCTL_NOUVEAU_CHANNEL_ALLOC. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-7309 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | redhat, openshift_container_platform | A flaw was found in the OpenShift Container Platform build system. A user with the `edit` ClusterRole can inject arbitrary environment variables, such as `LD_PRELOAD` or `http_proxy`, into `docker-build` containers through the `buildconfigs/instantiate` API. This incomplete fix for a previous vulnerability allows for information disclosure, specifically impacting the confidentiality of build traffic. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-37981 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak. A broken access control vulnerability in the Account Resources user lookup endpoint allows a remote authenticated user, who owns at least one User-Managed Access (UMA) resource, to enumerate and harvest personally identifiable information (PII) for all realm users. By sending crafted requests with arbitrary usernames or email values, the endpoint returns full profile objects for unrelated users. This leads to broad profile-level information disclosure. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9791 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak. An authenticated user with existing organization membership can exploit this flaw by accessing user-facing APIs, such as the account API or by requesting an OpenID Connect (OIDC) token with the 'organization' scope. This allows organization metadata to be disclosed in tokens, even after an administrator has explicitly disabled the Organizations feature, potentially leading to incorrect authorization decisions by resource servers. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9798 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. When a user account is temporarily locked due to repeated failed login attempts, an attacker with valid client credentials can exploit the Client-Initiated Backchannel Authentication (CIBA) flow to bypass this brute-force protection. This allows continued authentication attempts and token issuance even when the account should be locked, potentially enabling further unauthorized access attempts. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-4628 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak. An improper Access Control vulnerability in Keycloak’s User-Managed Access (UMA) resource_set endpoint allows attackers with valid credentials to bypass the allowRemoteResourceManagement=false restriction. This occurs due to incomplete enforcement of access control checks on PUT operations to the resource_set endpoint. This issue enables unauthorized modification of protected resources, impacting data integrity. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9689 | 4.2 medium | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. When a client application is configured to accept broad redirect Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs), a remote attacker can manipulate the authentication process by crafting a special web address. If a user clicks this link, the client application might incorrectly prioritize attacker-controlled information over legitimate data. This vulnerability, known as HTTP parameter pollution, could allow an attacker to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access to resources. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-13218 | 4.2 medium | 0.00% | kubevirt, redhat, openshift_virtualization | A flaw was found in KubeVirt's virt-handler network cache handling. The WriteToCachedFile function writes data to a launcher-rooted path using os.WriteFile and os.Chown without symlink protection. A user with access to the virt-launcher container can plant a symlink at the cache file path, causing virt-handler to follow it and overwrite an arbitrary host file with JSON content and change its ownership. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-12548 | 4.2 medium | 0.00% | gnome, redhat, libsoup, enterprise_linux | A heap out-of-bounds read flaw was found in libsoup. When parsing multipart HTTP messages, an integer type mismatch between the caller and soup_headers_parse() can cause the length parameter to be incorrectly truncated, leading to a heap buffer over-read. A remote attacker could use this flaw to crash an application using libsoup or potentially disclose heap memory contents. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-13322 | 3.8 low | 0.00% | redhat, kubevirt, openshift_virtualization | A flaw was found in KubeVirt's downward metrics virtio-serial server. The server reads guest requests using textproto.Reader.ReadLine(), which buffers input indefinitely until a newline character is received, with no length limit or read deadline. A user with access to a VM guest that has the downward metrics virtio-serial device configured can write a continuous byte stream to the device, causing unbounded memory allocation in the virt-handler process until it is OOM-killed. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-4633 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in Keycloak. A remote attacker can exploit differential error messages during the identity-first login flow when Organizations are enabled. This vulnerability allows an attacker to determine the existence of users, leading to information disclosure through user enumeration. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2022-0987 | 3.3 low | 0.00% | packagekit_project, redhat, packagekit, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in PackageKit in the way some of the methods exposed by the Transaction interface examines files. This issue allows a local user to measure the time the methods take to execute and know whether a file owned by root or other users exists. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-3655 | 3.3 low | 0.00% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, debian_linux | A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel in versions prior to v5.14-rc1. Missing size validations on inbound SCTP packets may allow the kernel to read uninitialized memory. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-14615 | 2.7 low | 0.00% | redhat, build_of_keycloak | A flaw was found in the Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAP) v2 implementation within Keycloak's administrative services. When FGAP v2 is enabled, the system fails to properly filter child groups based on the caller's specific permissions when requested through a parent group. This allows a delegated administrator to view details of child groups they are not authorized to access directly, including group names, paths, and custom attributes. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2025-6170 | 2.5 low | 0.00% | redhat, xmlsoft, jboss_core_services, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-16487 | unscored | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Red Hat Product Security has determined that this is not a vulnerability in bootc or containers-common. bootc fetches images under /etc/containers/policy.json. The shipped default is insecureAcceptAnything for registries without an explicit signature requirement; registry.redhat.io and registry.access.redhat.com require signatures. Updating a mutable tag requires the ability to publish to the reference an administrator has already configured the host to follow. Requiring signatures is available through that policy and through bootc enforce-container-sigpolicy, which is off by default. Persistence of /var across bootc rollback is expected image-mode behavior. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-93253 | unscored | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/isolation: Defer freeing of cpumask memblock memory to initcall When testing a linux-next kernel with commit 59bd1d914bb5 ("memblock: warn when freeing reserved memory before memory map is initialized"), the following warning was hit when there was a "nohz_full" kernel boot parameter. Cannot free reserved memory because of deferred initialization of the memory map WARNING: mm/memblock.c:904 at __free_reserved_area+0xde/0xf0, CPU#0: swapper/0/0 : Call Trace: <TASK> memblock_phys_free+0xcb/0x100 housekeeping_init+0x14c/0x170 start_kernel+0x207/0x450 x86_64_start_reservations+0x24/0x30 x86_64_start_kernel+0xda/0xe0 common_startup_64+0x13e/0x141 </TASK> IOW, we shouldn't free memblock allocated memory so early in the boot process when memory map isn't fully initialized in deferred_init_memmap(). Fix it by saving the housekeeping cpumask memblock memory to be freed into a llist free list in housekeeping_init() and add a new housekeeping_late_init() helper to defer the actual freeing of memblock memory to when initcall's are being processed. The cpumask memblock memory is treated as a llist_node with the size of a "long" type which is also smallest cpumask size that can be allocated. The non-atomic version of the llist APIs are used as there is no contention. This commit depends on the presence of commit 7c2eee9c1367 ("memblock: don't touch memblock arrays when memblock_free() is called late") to prevent a KASAN UAF bug report [1].
