CVE-2026-113655 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 4.33.0, an authenticated editor with legitimate edit rights on a pre-existing ordinary page nested under a restricted parent can use the same-parent page move operation to change sibling ranks without create authorization on that parent. The non-default nesting must already exist, and the bypass is limited to sibling ordering rather than arbitrary content modification, confidentiality loss, or creation of the restricted nesting. This issue is fixed in version 4.33.0. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-113660 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 4.33.0, ApostropheCMS’s exist-in-locale API allows an authenticated low-privilege user to determine whether restricted documents exist in a specified locale and mode, including draft mode. The endpoint returns localized document identifiers without applying document-level view or edit authorization criteria. This issue is fixed in version 4.33.0. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-113671 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. From 1.0.0-beta.10 until 1.0.0-beta.13 of the AI helper, an editor with image-generation capability can create a base64-generated image record without a stored provider URL and invoke image acceptance on a deployment using local relative storage with no trusted global base URL. The server resolves the fixed uploads path against a request-controlled Host-derived origin, enabling bounded server-side requests to an attacker-selected host, port, and HTTP origin, but not arbitrary-path retrieval or the stored-provider and absolute-storage configurations. This issue is fixed in AI helper 1.0.0-beta.13. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-70591 4.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 0.10.0 until 6.54.1, a Server-Side Request Forgery in Ghost Admin image fetching allowed any staff-level user to perform a blind HTTP GET request against internal hosts. No output was returned, but this could have been used to probe open ports on internal hosts. This issue is fixed in version 6.54.1. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-53945 4.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.0.9 until 6.21.1, Ghost’s private-IP check for outbound HTTP requests could be bypassed via DNS rebinding, allowing an attacker to coerce the Ghost server into reaching hosts on internal networks through features that issue external fetches. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.21.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-70595 4.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.26.0 until 6.54.1, a validation issue allowed some functionality, such as Webmentions, to be abused by an unauthenticated user to make limited HTTP requests to hosts in the Ghost server's internal network. A successful attack would not result in any response data being returned. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.54.1. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-105683 3.8 low 0.00% no CPE yet Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.14.0 until 6.27.0, an input validation issue may have allowed staff users to access local files outside the intended data storage directories on the server. This issue is fixed in version 6.27.0. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-118258 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet i18next-http-backend is a backend layer for i18next that loads translation resources in Node.js, browsers, and Deno. Prior to 4.0.4, interpolateUrl inserts unencoded language and namespace values into loadPath or addPath templates without rejecting ampersand (&), equals (=), or semicolon (;) query separators. When a template places lng or ns in the query string and an attacker controls that value, the attacker can add or override parameters on browser or server-side translation requests, potentially exposing other namespaces or tenants or changing backend behavior through the application's network position and credentials. This vulnerability is the result of an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-41691. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.4. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-113665 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 4.33.0, the notification module exposes PATCH and DELETE REST endpoints that perform operations directly on the underlying MongoDB collection without verifying that the requester is authenticated or owns the target notification. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker who obtains a valid notification ID can modify or permanently delete another user's notification. This issue is fixed in version 4.33.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-33877 3.7 low 0.00% apostrophecms ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Versions 4.28.0 and prior contain a timing side-channel vulnerability in the password reset endpoint (/api/v1/@apostrophecms/login/reset-request) that allows unauthenticated username and email enumeration. When a user is not found, the handler returns after a fixed 2-second artificial delay, but when a valid user is found, it performs a MongoDB update and SMTP email send with no equivalent delay normalization, producing measurably different response times. The endpoint also accepts both username and email via an $or query, and has no rate limiting as the existing checkLoginAttempts throttle only applies to the login flow. This enables automated enumeration of valid accounts for use in credential stuffing or targeted phishing. Only instances that have explicitly enabled the passwordReset option are affected, as it defaults to false. This issue has been fixed in version 4.29.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-53607 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. In versions up to and including 4.30.0, when `prettyUrls: true` is enabled on `@apostrophecms/file` (a documented SEO feature for serving uploaded files at clean URLs), the public pretty-URL handler builds the upstream URL using the raw `Host` HTTP request header. That URL is then `fetch`'ed and the response body + headers are streamed straight back to the requester. Because `Host` is fully attacker-controlled, an unauthenticated remote attacker can pivot the apostrophe process to issue outbound HTTP requests against any host it can reach on the private network. The path component is constrained to `/uploads/attachments/<cuid>-<slug>.<ext>` (built from a local-DB lookup), which keeps the impact narrow: cross-instance data exfiltration is neutralized by cuid uniqueness, but blind-SSRF residuals remain (network-topology mapping via response-code / timing differences and verbose proxy/WAF 404 body disclosure). As of time of publication, no known patched versions exist. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-48931 3.7 low 0.00% nodejs, node.js A flaw in Node.js HTTP Agent can cause a client to accept as valid a response that is send before the client has sent the request. This vulnerability affects all supported release lines: **Node.js 22**, **Node.js 24**, and **Node.js 26**. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-113657 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system, and sanitize-html provides a simple HTML sanitizer with a clear API. From sanitize-html 2.17.7 until 2.18.0, an application configuration that permits namespace-prefixed SVG animation elements and the relevant URL-targeting attributes can bypass the SMIL URL protection because prefixed tag names do not match the unprefixed animation-element check. The bypass can rewrite a link destination to an unsafe URI after the sanitized SVG is rendered, with script execution occurring when a user activates the affected link; the default sanitizer configuration is not unconditionally affected. This issue is fixed in sanitize-html 2.18.0. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-110725 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser and serializer for Node.js. In versions before 2.4.8, from 3.0.0 through 3.1.8, and from 4.0.0 through 4.2.2, when serialize(), normalize(), or resolve() are called with the non-default option reference set to suffix on a reference that has no authority, the emitted relative reference can contain a bare colon in its first path segment without escaping it, even though RFC 3986 forbids that because it makes the string reparse as an absolute URI with a scheme. An application that serializes or normalizes a relative reference with the suffix option and then treats the result as a URI can turn inert input into a live javascript, data, or vbscript URL, a cross-site scripting vector, and the equal() comparison can conflate a scheme-bearing reference with a relative one. Exposure is limited to applications using the non-default suffix reference option. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 2.4.8, 3.1.9, and 4.2.3, and users should upgrade to one of these versions or later. As a workaround, avoid the suffix reference option on untrusted input, or percent-encode a colon in the first path segment of the result before treating it as a URI. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-110095 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser and serializer for Node.js. In versions before 2.4.8, from 3.0.0 through 3.1.8, and from 4.0.0 through 4.2.2, the normalize() and serialize() functions apply RFC 3986 dot-segment removal to the path of a relative-path reference, even though that algorithm is defined only for the merged target path during resolution, so a leading parent-directory segment can be dropped and a document-relative reference can become root-relative. An application that normalizes an attacker-supplied or user-supplied relative reference and then resolves it, or uses it as a cache, deduplication, or authorization key, can have the reference escape its intended directory and point at a different resource. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 2.4.8, 3.1.9, and 4.2.3, and users should upgrade to one of these versions or later. As a workaround, resolve a relative reference against its absolute base first and normalize the absolute result instead of normalizing the reference beforehand. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-107832 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet fastify is a fast and low overhead web framework for Node.js. In versions 5.12.2 through 5.12.5, the routine that lowercases header names declared in a route schema does not lowercase the enum or const header names nested inside a propertyNames subschema. As a result, a header allow-list or deny-list written with canonical (non-lowercase) casing never matches the incoming lowercased header, so a restricted header passes validation and reaches the route handler. An attacker can therefore bypass a case-sensitive header validation rule and smuggle a forbidden header past the schema, affecting the integrity of request handling. The issue is fixed in fastify 5.12.6, and users should upgrade to 5.12.6 or later. There is no workaround other than upgrading, though applications can declare header names in lowercase to avoid the mismatch. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-107296 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, decoding a negative signed 64-bit integer modifies the corresponding bytes in the caller-provided input buffer while computing the value. Applications that retain or reuse encoded input for integrity checks, logging, or later processing can observe silently corrupted data, while positive integers and other MessagePack value types are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-64757 3.5 low 0.00% astro Astro is a web framework. Prior to version 5.14.3, a vulnerability has been identified in the Astro framework's development server that allows arbitrary local file read access through the image optimization endpoint. The vulnerability affects Astro development environments and allows remote attackers to read any image file accessible to the Node.js process on the host system. This issue has been patched in version 5.14.3. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-116673 3.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet systeminformation is a System and OS information library for node.js. Prior to 5.33.14, the Linux networkStats(iface) implementation uses the caller-supplied interface value in an fs.existsSync() check and to build /sys/class/net/<iface> paths, including the operstate path, without verifying that it is a single interface-name segment or that the resolved path remains under /sys/class/net. An attacker who can control iface and create a directory containing symlinked statistics files can use parent-directory components and symlink traversal to make the API return the first line of a file readable by the Node.js process. The package does not expose a network endpoint, and the demonstrated scenario requires local filesystem setup. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.14. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-48935 3.3 low 0.00% nodejs, node.js A flaw in Node.js Permission API can cause a file metadata to be modified even on a path that was set as read-only with e.g. `--allow-fs-read`. This vulnerability affects all supported release lines: **Node.js 22**, **Node.js 24**, and **Node.js 26**. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-48936 3.3 low 0.00% nodejs, node.js A flaw in Node.js Permission API can cause a local server to be started (via a Unix domain socket), even without the `--allow-net` permission. This vulnerability affects one supported release line: **Node.js 26**. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-113651 3.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system, and uploadfs is its file storage library. Prior to uploadfs 1.28.0, attacker-controlled paths that reach the local backend can contain parent-directory segments that escape the configured upload directory and affect file reads, writes, and deletion on the host filesystem. Exploitability depends on an application exposing the relevant uploadfs operations to untrusted path. This issue is fixed in uploadfs 1.28.0. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-113648 3.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.1 of the import-export module, the API endpoint POST /api/v1/@apostrophecms/import-export/clean-export in @apostrophecms/import-export lacks authentication and authorization checks. Any client—including unauthenticated anonymous users who have obtained the standard CSRF cookie from visiting the site—can directly invoke this route and trigger the underlying self.cleanExport(req) method. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.1. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-118781 2.9 low 0.00% digitalbazaar, forge Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used BigInteger.prototype.modInverse(), bnModInverse(), lib/jsbn.js, RSA public exponent e to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's bundled jsbn implementation entered an infinite loop when BigInteger.prototype.modInverse() received a negative value or modulus. An attacker who could control the RSA public exponent passed to key generation, or a direct modInverse() operand, could block the Node.js event loop at full CPU. Parsed DER, PEM, JWK, PKCS#12, X.509, and TLS values are unsigned and cannot trigger this issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. 9 h ago
CVE-2025-62366 2.9 low 0.00% no CPE yet mailgen is a Node.js package that generates responsive HTML e-mails for sending transactional mail. Mailgen versions through 2.0.30 contain an HTML injection vulnerability in plaintext emails produced by the generatePlaintext method when user‑generated content is supplied. The function attempts to remove HTML tags, but if tags are provided as encoded HTML entities they are not removed and are later decoded, resulting in active HTML (for example an img tag with an event handler) in the supposed plaintext output. In contexts where the generated plaintext string is subsequently rendered as HTML, this can allow execution of attacker‑controlled JavaScript. Versions 2.0.31 and later contain a fix. No known workarounds exist. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-62380 2.9 low 0.00% no CPE yet mailgen is a Node.js package that generates responsive HTML e-mails for sending transactional mail. Mailgen versions through 2.0.31 contain an HTML injection vulnerability in plaintext emails generated with the generatePlaintext method when user generated content is supplied. The plaintext generation code attempts to strip HTML tags using a regular expression and then decodes HTML entities, but tags that include certain Unicode line separator characters are not matched and removed. These encoded tags are later decoded into valid HTML content, allowing unexpected HTML to remain in output intended to be plaintext. Projects are affected if they call Mailgen.generatePlaintext with untrusted input and then render or otherwise process the returned string in a context where HTML is interpreted. This can lead to execution of attacker supplied script in the victim’s browser. Version 2.0.32 fixes the issue. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-59526 2.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet mailgen is a Node.js package that generates responsive HTML e-mails for sending transactional mail. Prior to version 2.0.30, there is an HTML injection vulnerability in plaintext e-mails generated by Mailgen. Projects are affected if the Mailgen.generatePlaintext(email) method is used and given user-generated content. This vulnerability has been patched in version 2.0.30. A workaround involves stripping all HTML tags before passing any content into Mailgen.generatePlaintext(email). 11 Oct
CVE-2026-43930 2.1 low 0.00% parseplatform, parse-server Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 8.6.76 and 9.9.0-alpha.2, a race condition in the MFA SMS one-time password (OTP) login path allows two concurrent /login requests carrying the same OTP to both succeed and both receive valid session tokens, breaking the single-use property of the OTP. The vulnerability requires the attacker to already possess the victim's password and intercept the active SMS OTP (e.g. via SIM swap, network mirror, or phishing relay) and to race the legitimate login request, so the practical attack surface is narrow. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.6.76 and 9.9.0-alpha.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-53724 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.79 and 9.9.1-alpha.4, the default file upload extension blocklist can be bypassed by appending a trailing dot to a filename whose extension would otherwise be blocked (e.g. poc.svg.). The trailing dot causes the extension parser to extract an empty string, which short-circuits the blocklist check, and the attacker-controlled Content-Type is forwarded to the storage adapter unchanged. Storage adapters that persist and serve the provided Content-Type (such as S3 or GCS) then serve the file with an active type such as image/svg+xml, enabling stored XSS when a victim opens the file URL. The default GridFS adapter is not affected because it sets X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff on responses. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.79 and 9.9.1-alpha.4. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-15921 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Node Version Manager (nvm) is a POSIX-compliant shell function for managing multiple node.js versions. In versions 0.32.1 through 0.40.5, `nvm ls-remote` (and other commands that refresh remote LTS aliases, such as `nvm install --lts`) parse the node.js mirror's `index.tab` and use each release's LTS codename field as an alias filename without validating it. A malicious, compromised, or man-in-the-middled mirror can return an LTS codename containing path-traversal sequences such as `../../../.bashrc`, causing nvm to write the associated version string to a path outside `$NVM_DIR/alias`. With the default layout (`$NVM_DIR` is `~/.nvm`), this can create or overwrite files in the user's home directory, including shell startup files, which can lead to code execution in a later shell session. Exploitation requires the victim to use a hostile mirror -- via a compromised mirror or CDN, a network man-in-the-middle, or a maliciously configured `NVM_NODEJS_ORG_MIRROR`/`NVM_IOJS_ORG_MIRROR` -- and to run an affected command. Version 0.40.6 validates remote LTS codenames as safe alias filenames and rejects `..` path components when writing alias files. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-86146 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet Inconsistent interpretation of HTTP requests (HTTP request/response smuggling) in the bundled HTTP/1.1 parser of Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows remote attackers to smuggle requests and inject headers when bRPC is deployed behind a proxy or load balancer that parses the same bytes differently. Root Cause: The bRPC fork of http-parser accepts and acts on several HTTP/1.1 header forms that a conforming front-end either rejects or interprets differently, so the framing or the header set of a message can differ between the front-end and bRPC: 1. A space before the colon of framing headers (e.g. Content-Length : 5) is accepted; the value still drives bRPC's framing while the reported field name contains the trailing space. 2. Interior spaces inside a Content-Length value (e.g. Content-Length: 1 3) are skipped, so bRPC reads 13 where a front-end reads 1 or rejects the message (same class as CVE-2022-32213 in Node.js). 3. Obsolete line folding (obs-fold, RFC 7230 3.2.4) of Content-Length and Transfer-Encoding values is accepted, so a folded framing value drives bRPC's framing while a front-end that does not unfold sees a different message. 4. Chunked trailer fields are fed to the same header callbacks as the header section and are merged into the header map like real headers. A front-end only inspects the header section, so any chunked request can smuggle fields such as Authorization or X-Forwarded-For past it. 5. Transfer-Encoding lists with optional whitespace after a comma (e.g. Transfer-Encoding: gzip, chunked) are not recognized as chunked: such requests are rejected, and responses are read until connection close instead of as chunked, causing response desync. Affected Scenarios: bRPC server or client communicating over HTTP/1.1 with a front proxy, load balancer, or any peer that parses the message independently. An attacker able to send requests through the front-end can desynchronize the two parsers to smuggle requests, forge headers (e.g. Authorization, X-Forwarded-For) via chunked trailers, or desynchronize responses. How to Fix: (Choose one of the following options) 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3521 Note: After applying the fix, the four header forms above are rejected by default and chunked trailers are dropped instead of merged into the header map. Two gflags are provided for compatibility: http_allow_obs_fold=true restores acceptance of folded Content-Length/Transfer-Encoding values, and http_strict_header_token=true additionally rejects spaces inside any header field name (not only the ones that decide framing). Legitimate clients that do not use these obsolete forms are unaffected. 11 h ago
