CVE-2026-72262 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: ipc3-control: Fix heap overflow in bytes_ext put/get The ipc_control_data buffer is allocated as kzalloc(max_size), where max_size covers the entire struct sof_ipc_ctrl_data including its flexible array payload. However, the bounds checks in bytes_ext_put and _bytes_ext_get compared user data lengths against max_size directly, ignoring that cdata->data sits at an offset of sizeof(struct sof_ipc_ctrl_data) bytes into the allocation. This allowed writing up to sizeof(struct sof_ipc_ctrl_data) bytes past the end of the heap buffer from unprivileged userspace via the ALSA TLV kcontrol interface, and similarly allowed over-reading adjacent heap data on the get path. Fix all bounds checks to subtract sizeof(*cdata) from max_size so they reflect the actual space available at the cdata->data offset. Also fix the error-path restore in bytes_ext_put which wrote to cdata->data instead of cdata, causing the same overflow. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-72195 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: bound attr_off in UpdateResidentValue against data_off In do_action()'s UpdateResidentValue case (fslog.c:3307), lrh->attr_off and lrh->redo_len come from the on-disk LRH. When they satisfy aoff + dlen < attr->res.data_off, the assignment attr->res.data_size = cpu_to_le32(aoff + dlen - data_off); underflows to ~4 GiB (e.g. 0xFFFFFFF9 when aoff=0x10, dlen=1, data_off=0x18). Subsequent code that reads attr->res.data_size to walk the resident attribute payload would then read up to 4 GiB past the 1024-byte MFT record allocation. The existing mi_enum_attr() defense in fs/ntfs3/record.c:287 catches the corrupted data_size on the next attribute walk and fails the mount, but only on the path that walks all attributes. A read site that picks an attribute by name and reads its data_size without re-validating is not covered. Validate aoff against data_off and asize at the source. Reproduced under UML+KASAN on mainline 8d90b09e6741 via pr_warn-only probe: with aoff=0x10 and data_off=0x18, the post-assignment data_size is 0xfffffff9 (mount then fails at -22 from mi_enum_attr). [[email protected]: clang-formatted the changes] 16 Oct
CVE-2026-43502 7.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: handle zerocopy send cleanup before the message is queued A zerocopy send can fail after user pages have been pinned but before the message is attached to the sending socket. The purge path currently infers zerocopy state from rm->m_rs, so an unqueued message can be cleaned up as if it owned normal payload pages. However, zerocopy ownership is really determined by the presence of op_mmp_znotifier, regardless of whether the message has reached the socket queue. Capture op_mmp_znotifier up front in rds_message_purge() and use it as the cleanup discriminator. If the message is already associated with a socket, keep the existing completion path. Otherwise, drop the pinned page accounting directly and release the notifier before putting the payload pages. This keeps early send failure cleanup consistent with the zerocopy lifetime rules without changing the normal queued completion path. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-12505 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in the cifs-utils package where the cifs.upcall helper fails to securely drop its root privileges before looking up user information inside a user-controlled environment. A local, low privileged attacker can exploit this by using a crafted request_key payload to trick the root-owned helper into entering a custom environment (namespace) containing a malicious NSS module. This forces the system to load the attacker's controlled NSS Module and configuration, allowing them to execute arbitrary commands as the root user, elevating their privileges and fully compromising the system. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-34746 7.7 high 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. Prior to version 3.79.1, an authenticated Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the upload functionality. Authenticated users with create or update access to an upload-enabled collection could cause the server to make outbound HTTP requests to arbitrary URLs. This issue has been patched in version 3.79.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-45223 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Crabbox before 0.9.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the coordinator user-token verification path where the verifyUserToken() function fails to reject payloads containing an admin claim, allowing attackers to escalate privileges. An attacker with access to the shared non-admin token can craft a user-token payload with admin: true, sign it using HMAC-SHA256, and present it to admin-only coordinator routes to gain full coordinator admin access including lease visibility, pool state management, and forced release operations. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49279 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a Stored XSS vulnerability through the autoEvalCodeOnHTML parameter in the MessageSQLite WebSocket Handler. The MessageSQLite.php handler only strips autoEvalCodeOnHTML from $json['msg'], but msgToResourceId() reads from $msg['json'] with higher priority. An attacker can place the XSS payload in the json key instead of msg, bypassing the sanitization entirely. An authenticated attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in any connected user's browser session via the WebSocket messaging system, stealing session cookies and authentication tokens, taking over accounts through session hijacking, and chaining with CSRF to perform admin actions on the victim's behalf, in the default SQLite WebSocket backend configuration. This issue has a patch that has yet to be officially released, see https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/3e0b3ce2bfa766183ff0ae227439394db57b1a23. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-112304 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet docTR through 1.1.0 contains an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in load_pretrained_params() that loads checkpoints with torch.load without weights_only=True. Attackers who control a local or URL-supplied checkpoint can embed a malicious pickle payload to execute Python code with the loading process's privileges on torch releases before 2.6. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-90408 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix overreads in ath12k_wmi_process_csa_switch_count_event() There is no policy entry for WMI_TAG_PDEV_CSA_SWITCH_COUNT_STATUS_EVENT, so the parse infrastructure does not enforce a minimum length for the event struct. Additionally, the num_vdevs field is taken directly from firmware and used as a loop bound over the vdev_ids array without checking that it fits within the TLV payload. Either condition can cause an out-of-bounds read. Add a TLV policy entry for WMI_TAG_PDEV_CSA_SWITCH_COUNT_STATUS_EVENT so the parse infrastructure enforces a minimum length for the fixed-size event struct. Add a helper ath12k_wmi_tlv_data_len() to recover the payload length of a parsed TLV from the header preceding its data pointer. Use it in ath12k_wmi_process_csa_switch_count_event() to bound num_vdevs before the loop. Compile tested only. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-90407 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix overreads in ath11k_wmi_process_csa_switch_count_event() There is no policy entry for WMI_TAG_PDEV_CSA_SWITCH_COUNT_STATUS_EVENT, so the parse infrastructure does not enforce a minimum length for the event struct. CVE-2026-89720 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ubifs: fix out-of-bounds read in signature length check ubifs_sb_verify_signature() bounds the on-disk ubifs_sig_node->len field before handing the signature payload to verify_pkcs7_signature(), but the check has the wrong sign: if (le32_to_cpu(signode->len) > snod->len + sizeof(struct ubifs_sig_node)) The signature bytes start sizeof(struct ubifs_sig_node) (UBIFS_SIG_NODE_SZ, 64 bytes) into the node, so the payload is at most snod->len - sizeof(struct ubifs_sig_node) bytes long. Adding the header size instead of subtracting it accepts a declared length up to 2 * UBIFS_SIG_NODE_SZ larger than the node actually holds -- past the end of c->sbuf, which is vmalloc(c->leb_size). verify_pkcs7_signature() -> pkcs7_parse_message() -> asn1_ber_decoder() is then handed that inflated length and reads beyond the allocation while walking the DER headers. The node length comes straight from the mounted image, so a crafted signed UBIFS image reaches this via ubifs_read_superblock() before the signature is cryptographically checked. snod->len is guaranteed to be >= UBIFS_SIG_NODE_SZ by the node scanner (c->ranges[UBIFS_SIG_NODE].min_len == UBIFS_SIG_NODE_SZ), so the corrected subtraction cannot underflow. Legitimately signed images are unaffected: a correct superblock never declares a signature longer than the node it is embedded in. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-105849 7.7 high 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions from 3.0.0 before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, users with ordinary read access to other authentication documents in a collection with useAPIKey enabled can obtain active API keys and exercise the target accounts' permissions until those keys are rotated or disabled. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-35534 7.6 high 0.00% churchcrm ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to 7.1.0, a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in PersonView.php due to incorrect use of sanitizeText() as an output sanitizer for HTML attribute context. The function only strips HTML tags, it does not escape quote characters allowing an attacker to break out of the href attribute and inject arbitrary JavaScript event handlers. Any authenticated user with the EditRecords role can store the payload in a person's Facebook field. The XSS fires against any user who views that person's profile page, including administrators, enabling session hijacking and full account takeover. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40283 7.6 high 0.00% wegia WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. In versions prior to 3.6.10, a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability allows an authenticated user to inject malicious JavaScript via the "Nome" field in the "Informações Pacientes" page. The payload is stored and executed when the patient information is viewed. Version 3.6.10 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-68900 7.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. From 8.72 until 10.23, addBoardHTMLToZip() in client/lib/exportHTML.js read a card title and body through textContent, which decoded entity-encoded markup, and then interpolated titleText and allText into content.innerHTML in the exported index.html. A board member could store an entity-encoded event-handler payload in a card title that remained inert on the live board but was reparsed and executed when a recipient clicked the card in the downloaded HTML export, allowing the script to read and transmit all board data contained in that export, including content added after the attacker's membership was removed. Version 10.23 builds the modal with DOM nodes and assigns untrusted values through textContent. This issue is fixed in version 10.23. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-59804 7.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Midscene Bridge Server through 1.10.3, fixed in commit 86f4118, contains a missing authentication and CORS misconfiguration vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to hijack active bridge sessions by opening a cross-origin WebSocket connection to the local Socket.IO server, which performs no Origin header validation and requires no authentication token. Attackers can connect from any web page visited by the victim to seize the single-client slot, intercept and inject automation commands, exfiltrate command-payload data, or unconditionally terminate the server by supplying the MIDSCENE_BRIDGE_SIGNAL_KILL query parameter. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-105855 7.6 high 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, the server fails to enforce a field-level access.update restriction on the password field of an authentication collection. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-119202 7.5 high 0.00% hapijs, content @hapi/content provides HTTP Content-* header parsing. From 3.0.6 until 6.0.3, Content.disposition() uses an unanchored parameter-name expression in a global regular-expression scan, causing repeated failed matching over the remaining input when a Content-Disposition parameter contains a long token without an equals sign. The resulting quadratic processing can block the Node.js event loop before route handlers or validation when @hapi/pez parses multipart/form-data headers, including unauthenticated hapi routes with payload.multipart enabled, and also affects applications that pass untrusted headers directly to Content.disposition(). This issue is fixed in @hapi/content version 6.0.3. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-105972 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Menu Cart for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 3.2.1 does not sanitise and escape cart item variation data before outputting it in its cart slide-out, allowing unauthenticated users to store a Cross-Site Scripting payload that can be delivered to and executed in the session of another user, including a logged-in administrator. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-40164 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet jq is a command-line JSON processor. Before commit 0c7d133c3c7e37c00b6d46b658a02244fdd3c784, jq used MurmurHash3 with a hardcoded, publicly visible seed (0x432A9843) for all JSON object hash table operations, which allowed an attacker to precompute key collisions offline. By supplying a crafted JSON object (~100 KB) where all keys hashed to the same bucket, hash table lookups degraded from O(1) to O(n), turning any jq expression into an O(n²) operation and causing significant CPU exhaustion. This affected common jq use cases such as CI/CD pipelines, web services, and data processing scripts, and was far more practical to exploit than existing heap overflow issues since it required only a small payload. This issue has been patched in commit 0c7d133c3c7e37c00b6d46b658a02244fdd3c784. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-116584 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Seroval facilitates JavaScript value stringification, including complex structures beyond JSON.stringify capabilities. From 1.4.1 until 1.6.8, fromJSON and fromCrossJSON do not require an array node's element list to be an actual array. A small crafted payload can supply an attacker-controlled length that determines memory allocation and decoder iterations independently of payload size, allowing an unauthenticated request to exhaust the process or block its thread. This issue is a residual bypass of the remediation for CVE-2026-23957. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.8. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40286 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. In versions prior to 3.6.10, a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the 'Member Registration' (Cadastrar Sócio) function. By injecting a payload into the 'Member Name' (Nome Sócio) field, the script is persistently stored in the database. Consequently, the payload is executed whenever a user navigates to certain URL. Version 3.6.10 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40879 7.5 high 0.00% nestjs, nest Nest is a framework for building scalable Node.js server-side applications. Prior to 11.1.19, when an attacker sends many small, valid JSON messages in one TCP frame, handleData() recurses once per message; the buffer shrinks each call. maxBufferSize is never reached; call stack overflows instead. A ~47 KB payload is sufficient to trigger RangeError. This vulnerability is fixed in 11.1.19. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42583 7.5 high 0.00% netty Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, Lz4FrameDecoder allocates a ByteBuf of size decompressedLength (up to 32 MB per block) before LZ4 runs. A peer only needs a 21-byte header plus compressedLength payload bytes - 22 bytes if compressedLength == 1 - to force that allocation. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44375 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Nerdbank.MessagePack is a NativeAOT-compatible MessagePack serialization library. Prior to 1.1.62, Nerdbank.MessagePack contains an uncontrolled stack allocation vulnerability in DateTime decoding. A malicious MessagePack payload can declare an oversized timestamp extension length, causing the reader to allocate an attacker-controlled number of bytes on the stack. This can trigger a StackOverflowException, which is not catchable by user code and terminates the process. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.1.62. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-45047 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet bird-lg-go is a BIRD looking glass in Go. Prior to 1.4.5, the apiHandler (and similarly webHandlerTelegramBot) processes user-provided JSON payloads by directly using json.NewDecoder(r.Body).Decode(&request) without restricting the maximum read size. An unauthenticated remote attacker can stream an extremely large, endless JSON payload (e.g., several Gigabytes of padding) over a single TCP connection. Because Go's JSON decoder attempts to allocate memory for the entire parsed structure, this rapidly exhausts the host's physical RAM or container limits, leading to an unrecoverable fatal error: runtime: out of memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.5. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-45088 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Dalfox is a powerful open-source XSS scanner and utility focused on automation. Prior to 2.13.0, when dalfox is run in REST API server mode, the custom-payload-file field in model.Options is JSON-tagged and deserialized directly from the attacker's request body, then propagated unchanged through dalfox.Initialize into the scan engine. The engine passes the value to voltFile.ReadLinesOrLiteral, which reads lines from any file path accessible to the dalfox process and embeds each line as an XSS payload in outbound HTTP requests directed at the attacker-controlled target URL. Because the server has no API key by default, an unauthenticated network attacker can exfiltrate the contents of arbitrary files on the dalfox host by reading them line-by-line through scan traffic. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-5438 7.5 high 0.00% orthanc-server, orthanc A gzip decompression bomb vulnerability exists when Orthanc processes HTTP request with `Content-Encoding: gzip`. The server does not enforce limits on decompressed size and allocates memory based on attacker-controlled compression metadata. A specially crafted gzip payload can trigger excessive memory allocation and exhaust system memory. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33524 7.5 high 0.00% nds-association, zserio Zserio is a framework for serializing structured data with a compact and efficient way with low overhead. Prior to 2.18.1, a crafted payload as small as 4-5 bytes can force memory allocations of up to 16 GB, crashing any process with an OOM error (Denial of Service). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.18.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-48774 7.5 high 0.00% proxysql ProxySQL is a proxy for MySQL and its forks, as well as PostgreSQL. In versions 3.0.0 through 3.0.8, ProxySQL's GenAI/MCP `run_sql_readonly` tool violates its documented read-only contract for MySQL targets. The tool validates only the full input string with a substring blacklist and first-keyword allowlist, but then executes the entire SQL string on a backend connection created with `CLIENT_MULTI_STATEMENTS`. As a result, a caller can submit a read-only first statement followed by a side-effecting second statement, such as `SELECT 1; RENAME TABLE ...`. The validator accepts the payload because it starts with `SELECT` and because side-effecting MySQL statements such as `RENAME TABLE`, `SET`, `RESET`, `LOCK TABLES`, and `KILL` are not rejected by the blacklist. In a live MCP runtime test, the `/mcp/query` endpoint accepted a `run_sql_readonly` request. The MCP response reported success for the first `SELECT`, and direct backend verification showed that the table had actually been renamed. This violates the endpoint's read-only security contract and lets an MCP caller perform backend writes or administrative SQL, limited by the configured MCP target account's database privileges. Version 3.0.9 contains a fix. Other operator mitigations include: keeping MCP disabled unless required; setting a non-empty `mcp-query_endpoint_auth` token before exposing `/mcp/query`; restricting MCP listener network exposure; configuring MCP backend target credentials as database-level read-only users; and adding temporary MCP query rules to block obvious multi-statement patterns. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-48712 7.5 high 0.00% protobufjs_project, protobufjs protobufjs compiles protobuf definitions into JavaScript (JS) functions. Prior to 7.6.1 and 8.4.1, protobufjs could recurse without a depth limit while converting decoded messages to plain objects or JSON. This affected generated toObject() conversion and the custom google.protobuf.Any JSON conversion path. A crafted protobuf binary payload containing deeply nested Any values could cause the JavaScript call stack to be exhausted during conversion to JSON. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.6.1 and 8.4.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-10735 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Multiple Shapedsmart-post-show-pro WordPress plugin before 4.0.2, Real Testimonials Pro WordPress plugin before 3.2.5, Product Slider for WooCommerce Pro WordPress plugin before 3.5.3 Pro smart-post-show-pro WordPress plugin before 4.0.2, Real Testimonials Pro WordPress plugin before 3.2.5, Product Slider for WooCommerce Pro WordPress plugin before 3.5.3 were distributed with malicious code through the vendor's compromised update server, allowing unauthenticated attackers to deploy a second-stage payload that exfiltrates credentials and other sensitive data and grants full control of affected sites. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-41896 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.474, the HMAC key is the application's manual_webhook_secret_github field, which is used by Coolify's webhook endpoints to validate incoming requests, is nullable with no default — meaning newly created applications have a null webhook secret. PHP's hash_hmac() function silently coerces a null key to an empty string ''. So when the secret is null, the server computes hash_hmac('sha256', $payload, '') — a deterministic value that any attacker can calculate independently. By sending X-Hub-Signature-256: sha256=<hash_hmac('sha256', payload, '')>, an unauthenticated attacker can forge a valid signature and trigger deployments. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.0-beta.474. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-48044 7.5 high 0.00% envoyproxy, envoy Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. From 1.23.0 until 1.35.11, 1.36.7, 1.37.3, and 1.38.1, a vulnerability has been identified in Envoy's zstd decompressor implementation (ZstdDecompressorImpl). When zstd decompression is enabled, processing a specially crafted, highly compressed zstd payload can lead to massive memory allocation. An attacker can exploit this to cause severe memory exhaustion, potentially resulting in an Out-Of-Memory (OOM) kill and Denial of Service (DoS) for the Envoy proxy. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.35.11, 1.36.7, 1.37.3, and 1.38.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54341 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads. Prior to 1.39.0, a crafted RESTORE payload triggers an out-of-bounds read in DragonflyDB's listpack collection loaders, crashing the entire server process (SIGSEGV). Because DragonflyDB requires no authentication by default and RESTORE is a normal keyspace command, an unauthenticated remote attacker can crash the server with a single ~24-byte command — a remote, repeatable denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.39.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54712 7.5 high 0.00% linuxfoundation, opentelemetry_instrumentation_for_java OpenTelemetry Java Instrumentation provides OpenTelemetry auto-instrumentation and instrumentation libraries for Java. In versions prior to 2.27.0, the RMI context propagation payload reader limits the number of context entries but does not limit the aggregate size of the strings read from the stream. An attacker who can reach an RMI endpoint on an instrumented JVM can send an oversized context propagation payload. This can cause excessive memory allocation while the JVM reads the payload, potentially leading to denial of service. The issue affects only deployments where RMI instrumentation is enabled and an RMI endpoint is network-reachable. This issue has been fixed in version 2.27.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-52878 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Versions 1.7.14 through 1.7.17 are vulnerable to a nil-pointer panic triggered by a protobuf Transaction whose embedded RawData sub-message is omitted. This omission causes RawData to decode to nil. Every transaction gossiped on the Klever-Go P2P network is decoded and validated synchronously inside the libp2p pubsub topic-validator callback, where txVersionChecker.CheckTxVersion dereferences tx.RawData.Version with no nil check. Because the libp2p pubsub callback, the underlying go-libp2p-pubsub validation worker, and Klever's own network/p2p layer install no recover(), the panic propagates and crashes the entire node process. The attacker payload is a 3-byte protobuf message; no validator key, stake, funds, or on-chain account is required, and delivery aimed at enough of the BLS validator set can halt block production, resulting in a chain halt. This issue has been fixed in version 1.7.18. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-99081 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: fix DMA mapping length for padded small packets Stefan Fleischmann reported Intel IOMMU DMA Read faults on BCM57412 NetXtreme-E NICs when transmitting packets on VLAN/macvlan interfaces: DMAR: [DMA Read NO_PASID] Request device [18:00.0] fault addr 0xfc499000 [fault reason 0x06] PTE Read access is not set bnxt_en 0000:18:00.0 eno1np0: Abandoning msg {0xb4 0x41a} len: 0 due to firmware status: 0x2000001 ... NETDEV WATCHDOG: eno1np0 (bnxt_en): transmit queue 0 timed out The fault address (0xfc499000) is on an exact 4KB page boundary, pointing to a DMA read buffer overrun. In bnxt_start_xmit(), packets smaller than BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE (52 bytes), such as 42-byte untagged ARP frames, are padded: if (length < BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE) { pad = BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE - length; if (skb_pad(skb, pad)) goto tx_kick_pending; length = BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE; } mapping = dma_map_single(&pdev->dev, skb->data, len, DMA_TO_DEVICE); ... dma_unmap_len_set(tx_buf, len, len); However, 'len' was initialized earlier to skb_headlen(skb) (e.g. 42 bytes) and is left unadjusted after padding. Consequently, dma_map_single() and dma_unmap_len_set() map and track only 42 bytes. Later, the hardware TX buffer descriptor is programmed with the padded length: txbd->tx_bd_len_flags_type = cpu_to_le32(((len + pad) << TX_BD_LEN_SHIFT) | flags | TX_BD_FLAGS_PACKET_END); The NIC DMA engine is thus instructed to read 52 bytes from a region where only 42 bytes were DMA-mapped. If skb->data ends near the boundary of a 4KB page (within 'pad' bytes of the next page), the hardware DMA read overruns into the unmapped adjacent page, triggering an IOMMU fault. This issue was exposed after commit 447cbe95ebb9 ("vlan: fix skb_under_panic and races when toggling HW VLAN offload") because reserving extra VLAN headroom rounded LL_RESERVED_SPACE from 48 up to 64 bytes, shifting skb->data offsets and potentially causing small frames to land right against page boundaries. Fix this by using skb_put_padto(skb, BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE) in bnxt_start_xmit(), before skb_shinfo(skb)->nr_frags is sampled, because padding might linearize the skb. This ensures skb->len and skb_headlen(skb) reflect the padded size so that dma_map_single() maps the full buffer and the descriptor length is consistent. This also removes the temporary 'pad' variable and masking logic. The padding is done after the SW USO branch, otherwise bnxt_sw_udp_gso_xmit() would account the padding as UDP payload and send it in extra segments. Note that SW USO segments are still not padded: with IPv4, a segment carrying less than 10 bytes of UDP payload (small gso_size, or a short last segment) is sent as a frame shorter than BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE. This is a separate issue, left for a followup patch. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-48702 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Rekor is a software supply chain transparency log. Starting in version 0.3.0 and prior to version 1.5.2, the `Package.Unmarshal()` function in `pkg/types/alpine/apk.go` decompresses the signature and control gzip members of an APK file into in-memory buffers without bounding the total decompressed size. The existing `max_apk_metadata_size` check (default 1MB) is only applied to individual tar entry header sizes after decompression completes, so it does not prevent a decompression bomb from consuming unbounded heap memory. An attacker can craft a gzip stream that compresses at a ~1000:1 ratio (e.g., 2MB compressed zeros → 2GB decompressed). When submitted as spec.package.content in an Alpine `ProposedEntry`, the server decompresses the full payload into memory during request processing, triggering a fatal Go runtime out-of-memory error or OS OOM-kill that cannot be caught by the server's recover() middleware. This is reachable via two unauthenticated endpoints, `POST /api/v1/log/entries (createLogEntry)` and `POST /api/v1/log/entries/retrieve (searchLogQuery)`. Both invoke `V001Entry.Canonicalize()` → `fetchExternalEntities()` → `apk.Unmarshal(packageData)`, which performs the unbounded decompression. Version 1.5.2 patches the issue. There is no effective workaround. Setting `max_request_body_size` reduces but does not eliminate exposure due to the ~1000:1 compression ratio (a 1MB body limit still allows ~1GB heap allocation). Setting `max_apk_metadata_size` has no effect on this vulnerability since the check is applied after decompression. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111181 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet body-parser is body parsing middleware for Node.js and Express. In versions before 1.20.9 and in versions from 2.0.0 before 2.4.0, a single request can crash any application using body-parser with default options. When a request carries a Content-Encoding such as gzip, body-parser pipes it into a decompression stream and, after reading the body, leaves that stream with no error listener. A payload of one valid compressed frame followed by trailing bytes decodes and the application responds normally, but the trailing bytes then reach the already-finished decoder, which emits an error that is re-thrown as an uncaught exception and terminates the process. No matching route is required because body parsing runs before routing, so any endpoint that parses a body is affected. The issue is fixed in body-parser 2.4.0 and 1.20.9, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, disable request-body inflation (set the body-parser inflate option to false) so encoded requests are rejected before any decompression stream is created. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-88784 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Translate WordPress with Weglot 2.0 WordPress plugin before 6.4.3 does not escape the URLs it re-inserts into a page when rewriting links for a translated language, and reverses the encoding that was applied to them beforehand, allowing unauthenticated users to store a payload which executes in the browser of anyone viewing the page in a translated language. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-80631 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: lzo: reject compressed segment that overflows the compressed input lzo_decompress_bio() validates each on-disk segment length seg_len only against the workspace cbuf size, not against the compressed input size (compressed_len, the total folio bytes of the bio). A crafted extent can carry a segment whose seg_len passes the cbuf check but runs past the end of the bio, so copy_compressed_segment() walks off the last folio: get_current_folio() then returns the NULL folio from bio_next_folio(), and with CONFIG_BTRFS_ASSERT disabled (default) folio_size(NULL) faults. CVE-2026-78384 7.5 high 0.00% apache, cxf CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap. A small (~KB) crafted payload could expand to gigabytes on the heap. Reachable via JWE decryption when zip=DEF (e.g. JoseSessionTokenProvider with RSA-OAEP key wrap) and via SAML redirect/POST binding token inflation — in both cases decompression happens before/independent of trust validation. Fix: Added a configurable maximum inflated-size cap (default 10 MiB, org.apache.cxf.compression-max-inflated-size system property) to CompressionUtils.inflate(); aborts with DataFormatException once exceeded. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-46306 7.5 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: flow_dissector: do not dissect PPPoE PFC frames RFC 2516 Section 7 states that Protocol Field Compression (PFC) is NOT RECOMMENDED for PPPoE. In practice, pppd does not support negotiating PFC for PPPoE sessions, and the flow dissector driver has assumed an uncompressed frame until the blamed commit. During the review process of that commit [1], support for PFC is suggested. However, having a compressed (1-byte) protocol field means the subsequent PPP payload is shifted by one byte, causing 4-byte misalignment for the network header and an unaligned access exception on some architectures. The exception can be reproduced by sending a PPPoE PFC frame to an ethernet interface of a MIPS board, with RPS enabled, even if no PPPoE session is active on that interface: $ 0 : 00000000 80c40000 00000000 85144817 $ 4 : 00000008 00000100 80a75758 81dc9bb8 $ 8 : 00000010 8087ae2c 0000003d 00000000 $12 : 000000e0 00000039 00000000 00000000 $16 : 85043240 80a75758 81dc9bb8 00006488 $20 : 0000002f 00000007 85144810 80a70000 $24 : 81d1bda0 00000000 $28 : 81dc8000 81dc9aa8 00000000 805ead08 Hi : 00009d51 Lo : 2163358a epc : 805e91f0 __skb_flow_dissect+0x1b0/0x1b50 ra : 805ead08 __skb_get_hash_net+0x74/0x12c Status: 11000403 KERNEL EXL IE Cause : 40800010 (ExcCode 04) BadVA : 85144817 PrId : 0001992f (MIPS 1004Kc) Call Trace: [<805e91f0>] __skb_flow_dissect+0x1b0/0x1b50 [<805ead08>] __skb_get_hash_net+0x74/0x12c [<805ef330>] get_rps_cpu+0x1b8/0x3fc [<805fca70>] netif_receive_skb_list_internal+0x324/0x364 [<805fd120>] napi_complete_done+0x68/0x2a4 [<8058de5c>] mtk_napi_rx+0x228/0xfec [<805fd398>] __napi_poll+0x3c/0x1c4 [<805fd754>] napi_threaded_poll_loop+0x234/0x29c [<805fd848>] napi_threaded_poll+0x8c/0xb0 [<80053544>] kthread+0x104/0x12c [<80002bd8>] ret_from_kernel_thread+0x14/0x1c Code: 02d51821 1060045b 00000000 <8c640000> 3084000f 2c820005 144001a2 00042080 8e220000 To reduce the attack surface and maintain performance, do not process PPPoE PFC frames. CVE-2026-46114 7.5 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/rxe: Reject non-8-byte ATOMIC_WRITE payloads atomic_write_reply() at drivers/infiniband/sw/rxe/rxe_resp.c unconditionally dereferences 8 bytes at payload_addr(pkt): value = *(u64 *)payload_addr(pkt); check_rkey() previously accepted an ATOMIC_WRITE request with pktlen == resid == 0 because the length validation only compared pktlen against resid. A remote initiator that sets the RETH length to 0 therefore reaches atomic_write_reply() with a zero-byte logical payload, and the responder reads sizeof(u64) bytes from past the logical end of the packet into skb->head tailroom, then writes those 8 bytes into the attacker's MR via rxe_mr_do_atomic_write(). That is a remote disclosure of 4 bytes of kernel tailroom per probe (the other 4 bytes are the packet's own trailing ICRC). IBA oA19-28 defines ATOMIC_WRITE as exactly 8 bytes. Anything else is protocol-invalid. Hoist a strict length check into check_rkey() so the responder never reaches the unchecked dereference, and keep the existing WRITE-family length logic for the normal RDMA WRITE path. Reproduced on mainline with an unmodified rxe driver: a sustained zero-length ATOMIC_WRITE probe repeatedly leaks adjacent skb head-buffer bytes into the attacker's MR, including recognisable kernel strings and partial kernel-direct-map pointer words. With this patch applied the responder rejects the PDU and the MR stays all-zero. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-61601 7.5 high 0.00% bigbluebutton BigBlueButton is an open-source virtual classroom. A Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in versions prior to 3.0.13 allows any authenticated user to freeze or crash the entire server by abusing the polling feature's `Choices` response type. By submitting a malicious payload with a massive array in the `answerIds` field, the attacker can cause the current meeting — and potentially all meetings on the server — to become unresponsive. Version 3.0.13 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89678 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix partial-write detection in nfsd_direct_write nfsd_direct_write() walks a list of write segments and, after each vfs_iocb_iter_write(), tries to detect a short write so the loop can stop before placing the next segment at a wrong file offset: host_err = vfs_iocb_iter_write(file, kiocb, &segments[i].iter); if (host_err < 0) return host_err; *cnt += host_err; if (host_err < segments[i].iter.count) break; /* partial write */ vfs_iocb_iter_write() runs the iter through ->write_iter(), which advances the iter by the number of bytes written. By the time the check runs, segments[i].iter.count is the residual, not the original request length: before write_iter: iter.count == original_len after write_iter: iter.count == original_len - host_err The condition then reduces to host_err < original_len - host_err, so the break fires only when less than half of the segment was written. Any short write completing between 50% and 99% of the segment slips through; the loop advances to the next segment with kiocb->ki_pos only bumped by the short amount, writing the next segment's payload at the wrong offset and over-reporting *cnt to the NFS client. Snapshot the segment's byte count before the write and compare host_err against that snapshot so any short write breaks the loop. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-66506 7.5 high 0.00% linuxfoundation, fulcio Fulcio is a free-to-use certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity. Prior to 1.8.3, function identity.extractIssuerURL splits (via a call to strings.Split) its argument (which is untrusted data) on periods. As a result, in the face of a malicious request with an (invalid) OIDC identity token in the payload containing many period characters, a call to extractIssuerURL incurs allocations to the tune of O(n) bytes (where n stands for the length of the function's argument), with a constant factor of about 16. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.3. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-66564 7.5 high 0.00% linuxfoundation, sigstore_timestamp_authority Sigstore Timestamp Authority is a service for issuing RFC 3161 timestamps. Prior to 2.0.3, Function api.ParseJSONRequest currently splits (via a call to strings.Split) an optionally-provided OID (which is untrusted data) on periods. Similarly, function api.getContentType splits the Content-Type header (which is also untrusted data) on an application string. As a result, in the face of a malicious request with either an excessively long OID in the payload containing many period characters or a malformed Content-Type header, a call to api.ParseJSONRequest or api.getContentType incurs allocations of O(n) bytes (where n stands for the length of the function's argument). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.3. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-77207 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Libreswan has a null pointer dereference bug in the PKCS#7 handling code for IKE certificate authentication. When libreswan decodes an IKE CERT payload of type CERT_PKCS7_WRAPPED_X509, it guards the PKCS#7 blob with SEC_PKCS7ContainsCertsOrCrls() and then iterates the certificate list with SEC_PKCS7GetCertificateList(). The two NSS APIs disagree on a SignedData that carries a CRL but no certificates: ContainsCertsOrCrls() returns PR_TRUE (there is a CRL), so the guard passes, but GetCertificateList() returns NULL (there are no certificates). This causes libreswan to dereference a null pointer leading to a crash and restart. A malicious IKE_AUTH packet can trigger this bug, meaning the peer does not need to be authenticated. No remote code execution is possible. Continued exploitation can cause a denial of service. 16 Oct
