| CVE-2026-61663 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | django CMS is an easy-to-use and developer-friendly enterprise content management system powered by Django. Prior to 5.0.9, render_object_structure fails to authorize non-PageContent objects that use PlaceholderRelationField. An active staff user without cms.use_structure or model-level view or change permission can request the //admin/cms/placeholder/object/<content_type_id>/structure/<object_id>/ endpoint with guessed content_type_id and object_id values. The response discloses placeholder slot names, plugin trees, plugin identifiers, labels, and object existence for frontend-editable objects. The fix applies user_can_view_placeholder_source to the non-PageContent branch while keeping the structure board read-only for view-only users. This issue is fixed in versions 5.0.9. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73229 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Django REST framework is a powerful and flexible toolkit for building Web APIs. Prior to 3.17.2, Django REST Framework's rest_framework/renderers.py AdminRenderer.render() uses override_method() to simulate GET and directly invokes view.get() without view.check_permissions() while rendering an invalid write request, allowing a 400 Bad Request HTML response to disclose data from a GET representation that the requester is not permitted to access. This issue is fixed in version 3.17.2. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71461 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | HostList.list() catches bare Exception and returns str(e) verbatim. Via host_filter, any authenticated user triggers Django FieldError (leaking complete Host model relation graph including internal reverse accessors) or PostgreSQL DataError (leaking raw database error strings). Two primitives: credential__search=x dumps ORM schema, name__regex=[bad reflects PostgreSQL errors. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55468 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Wagtail is an open source content management system built on Django. Prior to versions 7.0.9, 7.3.4, 7.4.3, and 8.0rc2 on their respective release lines, the internal Pages admin API returns page fields declared in api_fields without sufficient access control, allowing a user with Wagtail admin access to retrieve restricted draft and live page content. This issue is fixed in versions 7.0.9, 7.3.4, 7.4.3, and 8.0rc2. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113731 | 3.3 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. From 0.9.0 until 1.0.10, 1.1.7, 1.2.4, and 1.3.0rc8, the find_handlers_for_template MCP tool in python/djust/mcp/server.py accepts an existing absolute template_path and reads it without restricting the resolved path to the project or configured template directories. A local MCP client can use the tool as a file existence and readability oracle and can obtain substrings that match the tool's dj-click, dj-submit, dj-change, dj-input, dj-keydown, or dj-keyup attribute pattern from files readable by the djust process. The maintainer assessment states that the MCP server communicates over local stdio as the same operating-system user and has no network listener, and the tool does not return arbitrary raw file contents. This issue is fixed in versions 1.0.10, 1.1.7, 1.2.4, and 1.3.0rc8. | 17 h ago |
| CVE-2026-4292 | 2.7 low | 0.00% | djangoproject, django | An issue was discovered in 6.0 before 6.0.4, 5.2 before 5.2.13, and 4.2 before 4.2.30. Admin changelist forms using `ModelAdmin.list_editable` incorrectly allowed new instances to be created via forged `POST` data. Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.0.x, 4.1.x, and 3.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected. Django would like to thank Cantina for reporting this issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6907 | 2.3 low | 0.00% | djangoproject, django | An issue was discovered in 6.0 before 6.0.5 and 5.2 before 5.2.14. `django.middleware.cache.UpdateCacheMiddleware` erroneously caches requests where the `Vary` header contained an asterisk (`'*'`). This can lead to private data being stored and served. Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.0.x, 4.1.x, and 3.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected. Django would like to thank Ahmad Sadeddin for reporting this issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48588 | 2.3 low | 0.00% | djangoproject, django | An issue was discovered in Django 6.0 before 6.0.7 and 5.2 before 5.2.16. `UpdateCacheMiddleware` and the `cache_page()` decorator cache responses that vary on cookies when the incoming request carries unrelated cookies, which allows remote attackers to read private data from the shared cache. Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.0.x, 4.1.x, and 3.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected. Django would like to thank Chris Whyland for reporting this issue. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-15188 | 2.1 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A weakness has been identified in manjurulhoque django-job-portal up to dfa352f305bba44445ac5dc12e9b2a98c9dcd71f.
