| CVE-2026-89705 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: restore rq_status_counter to even on all nfsd_dispatch() exit paths nfsd_dispatch() sets rq_status_counter to an odd value once a request has been decoded, and back to an even value once it has been fully processed, forming a seq-lock like protocol with the lockless reader in nfsd_nl_rpc_status_get_dumpit(). Only the fully successful path restored the counter to even. The cache-hit (RC_REPLY), drop (RC_DROPIT / RQ_DROPME) and encode-error paths all return after the odd-valued store without ever bringing the counter back to even. Once one of those paths is taken, rq_status_counter is left odd: the next request's decode ORs in 1 (still odd) and only a subsequent successful encode restores even. While stuck odd, the dumpit reader treats the rqstp fields as stable and its retry check compares against the same unchanging odd value, so it never detects concurrent mutation. This exposes actively mutating fields (e.g. args->ops / args->opcnt during compound decode and release) to the lockless reader, which can read past the end of the 8-element inline ops array. Add a helper that advances the counter to the next even value and call it on every return path that follows the odd-valued store. The decode-error path is left untouched as it is reached before the counter is set odd. | 21 Oct |

| CVE-2026-32870 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | getkirby, kirby | Kirby is an open-source content management system. Kirby's `Xml::value()` method has special handling for ` ` blocks. If the input value is already valid `CDATA`, it is not escaped a second time but allowed to pass through. However, prior to versions 4.9.0 and 5.4.0, it was possible to trick this check into allowing values that only contained a valid `CDATA` block but also contained other structured data outside of the `CDATA` block. This structured data would then also be allowed to pass through, circumventing the value protection. The `Xml::value()` method is used in `Xml::tag()`, `Xml::create()` and in the `Xml` data handler (e.g. `Data::encode($string, 'xml')`). Both the vulnerable methods and the data handler are not used in the Kirby core. However they may be used in site or plugin code, e.g. to create XML strings from input data. If those generated files are passed to another implementation that assigns specific meaning to the XML schema, manipulation of this system's behavior is possible. Kirby sites that don't use XML generation in site or plugin code are not affected. The problem has been patched in Kirby 4.9.0 and Kirby 5.4.0. In all of the mentioned releases, Kirby has added additional checks that only allow unchanged `CDATA` passthrough if the entire string is made up of valid `CDATA` blocks and no structured data. This protects all uses of the method against the described vulnerability. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55733 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | ueberauth, guardian | Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in ueberauth guardian allows denial of service via unbounded atom creation from attacker-controlled binary input. Guardian.Permissions.AtomEncoding encodes permission scopes by passing arbitrary binaries to String.to_atom/1. When encode/3 in lib/guardian/permissions/atom_encoding.ex is called with a list, each binary entry is handled by the encode_value/3 binary clause, which calls String.to_atom(value) with no allow-list check. The perm_set argument (the application's small, finite set of legitimate permission names) is discarded, so any external string flows straight into atom creation. This encoder is selected with use Guardian.Permissions, encoding: Guardian.Permissions.AtomEncoding and reached through the imported encode/3 entry point. String.to_atom/1 creates a brand-new atom for every previously unseen binary, atoms are never garbage collected, and the BEAM atom table is fixed at roughly 1,048,576 entries by default. An application that funnels attacker-influenced permission scopes (from a request body, a JWT claim, or other external input) into encode/3 therefore mints one permanent atom per distinct value. A modest stream of varied, unauthenticated input permanently consumes the atom table and crashes the BEAM node with system_limit, taking down every application running on it. The default encoder is Guardian.Permissions.BitwiseEncoding, which is not affected. This issue affects guardian: from 2.0.0 before 2.4.1. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55734 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | ueberauth, guardian | Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ueberauth guardian (Guardian.Permissions module) allows a denial of service via BEAM atom-table exhaustion. This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/guardian/permissions.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Guardian.Permissions':encode_permissions!/1, 'Elixir.Guardian.Permissions':encode_permissions_into_claims!/2, 'Elixir.Guardian.Permissions':do_encode_permissions!/2. The Guardian.Permissions mixin installs a public encode_permissions!/1 function on every module that does use Guardian.Permissions. For each key of the supplied map, encode_permissions!/1 calls String.to_atom(to_string(k)) before any validation runs. The integer-value clause of do_encode_permissions!/2 then short-circuits straight to encoding without validating the key against the configured permission set, so a key with an integer value is interned as a fresh atom with no exception raised. Atoms are never garbage collected and the BEAM atom table is a fixed-size resource (default roughly 1,048,576 entries), so each unique attacker-chosen key permanently consumes one slot. An attacker who can influence a permission map that reaches encode_permissions!/1 (for example a permissions map read from a request body and passed into token issuance via encode_permissions_into_claims!/2) can mint an unbounded number of atoms and exhaust the atom table, crashing the entire BEAM node and every service running on it. The sibling decode_permissions/1 is not affected because it skips keys absent from the configured permission set. This issue affects guardian: from 2.0.0 before 2.4.1. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46514 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Frogman provides headless PBX control through MCP and HTTP API. Prior to 1.6.2, fm_reset_password in Tools/ResetPassword.php:48-53 returned a plaintext password and fm_add_extension in Tools/AddExtension.php:172 returned a plaintext secret; Frogman.class.php:2207-2211 used auditOutcome to JSON-encode those responses into oc_audit_log.detail, allowing any PERM_READ caller with access to fm_audit_search to recover the stored credentials. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103011 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish encryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::Encode, called by EncryptToString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allows an authenticated mailbox user to cause a denial of service (service crash), and possibly other unspecified impact. In 6.3.4 and 6.3.5, where the self-service REST API is enabled (it is off by default), the user does this remotely by adding a fetch account whose password is 129 to 247 characters long and not a multiple of 8, and then requesting their personal data export (GET /api/v1/me/export.zip), which encrypts that password with the legacy scheme. The same flaw is reachable on Windows by any local interactive user with no hMailServer credentials, through the COM method Utilities.BlowfishEncrypt, which checked no authentication. It is also reachable by every stored-secret write when ProtectStoredSecretsWithDPAPI is set to 0. For such a length, the routine's padding loop writes up to 7 zero bytes 2 to 232 bytes past the end of its 255-byte heap buffer. The ciphertext it returns is still correct. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-97643 | 6.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's `givewp_campaign_grid` shortcode in versions up to, and including, 4.17.0 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied shortcode attributes (`filter_by`, `layout`, `sort_by`, `order_by`) in the CampaignGridShortcode::parseAttributes() function combined with the render template emitting `json_encode($attributes)` inside a single-quoted HTML attribute without esc_attr() — json_encode() does not escape single quotes by default, so a `'` in an attribute value breaks out of the enclosing attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62374 | 6.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Parse Javascript SDK provides access to the powerful Parse Server backend from your JavaScript app. Prior to 7.0.0, injection of malicious payload allows attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code. ParseObject.fromJSON, ParseObject.pin, ParseObject.registerSubclass, ObjectStateMutations (internal), and encode/decode (internal) are affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.0. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110910 | 6.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | ### Summary `qs.stringify` with `allowEmptyArrays: true` writes the key of an empty array without encoding it, even though keys are encoded by default. A key that contains `&` (or the configured `delimiter`), `=`, or `#` therefore becomes query string syntax instead of data, so a caller-supplied key name can add parameters to the serialized query string, or cut it short. ### Details In `lib/stringify.js`, the `allowEmptyArrays` branch returns `adjustedPrefix + '[]'` early, before the code that passes every other key through `encoder` and `formatter`. So `{ "x&k=v": ["1"] }` serializes as `x%26k%3Dv%5B0%5D=1`, but `{ "x&k=v": [] }` serializes as `x&k=v[]`. The early return applies at any depth (`{ "a": { "b&k=v": [] } }` gives `a[b&k=v][]`), under every `arrayFormat`, with `allowDots`, and with a custom `encoder`, which is never called for that key. With `encode: false` or `encodeValuesOnly: true`, keys are intentionally left unencoded on every path; those configurations are not affected. #### PoC ```js var qs = require("qs"); var query = qs.stringify({ q: "hi", "x&apiKey=evil&y": [] }, { allowEmptyArrays: true }); // "q=hi&x&apiKey=evil&y[]" qs.parse(query); // { q: "hi", x: "", apiKey: "evil", y: [""] } qs.stringify({ "x#": [], z: "1" }, { allowEmptyArrays: true }); // "x#[]&z=1": in a URL, everything after "#" becomes the fragment ``` #### Fix Applied in 234d505 on `main` and released as v6.17.0, and backported to v6.16.2, v6.15.4, v6.14.3, v6.13.4, and v6.12.6: the key of an empty array goes through `encoder` and `formatter` exactly as the key of any other value does, so `{ "x&apiKey=evil&y": [] }` now serializes as `x%26apiKey%3Devil%26y[]`. Keys that need no encoding serialize as before, with two exceptions that match every other path: the brackets of a nested key are now encoded (`a[b][]` becomes `a%5Bb%5D[]`, which `qs.parse` reads identically), and with `encodeDotInKeys`, a dot in the key becomes `%252E` instead of `%2E` (which `decodeDotInKeys` previously misread as nesting). ### Affected versions - `>=6.12.0 <6.12.6`, fixed in v6.12.6 - `>=6.13.0 <6.13.4`, fixed in v6.13.4 - `>=6.14.0 <6.14.3`, fixed in v6.14.3 - `>=6.15.0 <6.15.4`, fixed in v6.15.4 - `>=6.16.0 <6.16.2`, fixed in v6.16.2 v6.17.0 and later are not affected. `allowEmptyArrays` was introduced in f22b2bc and first shipped in v6.12.0, with this early return. Earlier versions have no `allowEmptyArrays` option and are not affected. ### Impact An application that passes an object whose key names come from untrusted input to `qs.stringify` with `allowEmptyArrays: true` (for example, to forward a parsed JSON body or user-selected fields to an upstream service) can have parameters injected into the resulting query string. The injected parameters are not keys of the object, so deleting or overwriting a key on the object (such as setting a trusted `apiKey` after copying the user's fields) does not remove them; whether the attacker's value or the application's wins depends on how the receiving side handles a duplicate parameter. A `#` in such a key ends the query string early when the result is placed in a URL. `allowEmptyArrays` is off by default, and only keys whose value (after any `filter`) is an empty array are affected. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44430 | 6.3 medium | 0.00% | lfprojects, mcp_registry | The MCP Registry provides MCP clients with a list of MCP servers, like an app store for MCP servers. Prior to 1.7.7, the Registry's HTTP-based namespace verification (POST /v0/auth/http, POST /v0.1/auth/http) uses safeDialContext (internal/api/handlers/v0/auth/http.go:67-110) to refuse dialling private/internal addresses when fetching the well-known public-key file from a publisher-supplied domain. The blocklist (isBlockedIP, lines 125-133) relies entirely on Go stdlib's IsLoopback / IsPrivate / IsLinkLocalUnicast / IsMulticast / IsUnspecified plus a manual CGNAT range. None of these cover IPv6 6to4 (2002::/16), NAT64 (64:ff9b::/96 and 64:ff9b:1::/48 per RFC 8215), or deprecated site-local (fec0::/10) — all of which encode arbitrary IPv4 in the address bits and tunnel to RFC1918 / cloud-metadata services on dual-stack / NAT64-enabled hosts. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-8723 | 6.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | ### Summary `qs.stringify` throws `TypeError` when called with `arrayFormat: 'comma'` and `encodeValuesOnly: true` on an array containing `null` or `undefined`. The throw is synchronous and not handled by any of qs's null-related options (`skipNulls`, `strictNullHandling`). ### Details In the comma + `encodeValuesOnly` branch, `lib/stringify.js:145` mapped the array through the raw encoder before joining: ```js obj = utils.maybeMap(obj, encoder); ``` `utils.encode` (`lib/utils.js:195`) reads `str.length` with no null guard, so a `null` or `undefined` element throws `TypeError`. `skipNulls` and `strictNullHandling` are both checked in the per-element loop below this line and never get a chance to run. Same class of bug as the filter-array path fixed in 0c180a4. The vulnerable shape of the comma + `encodeValuesOnly` branch was introduced in 4c4b23d ("encode comma values more consistently", PR #463, 2023-01-19), first released in v6.11.1. #### PoC ```js const qs = require('qs'); qs.stringify({ a: [null, 'b'] }, { arrayFormat: 'comma', encodeValuesOnly: true }); qs.stringify({ a: [undefined, 'b'] }, { arrayFormat: 'comma', encodeValuesOnly: true }); qs.stringify({ a: [null] }, { arrayFormat: 'comma', encodeValuesOnly: true }); // TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'length') // at encode (lib/utils.js:195:13) // at Object.maybeMap (lib/utils.js:322:37) // at stringify (lib/stringify.js:145:25) ``` #### Fix `lib/stringify.js:145`, applied in 21f80b3 on `main` and released as v6.15.2: ```diff - obj = utils.maybeMap(obj, encoder); + obj = utils.maybeMap(obj, function (v) { + return v == null ? v : encoder(v); + }); ``` `null` and `undefined` now pass through `maybeMap` unchanged and reach the `join(',')` step as-is. For `{ a: [null, 'b'] }` this produces `a=,b`, matching the non-`encodeValuesOnly` comma path (which already joins before encoding and produces `a=%2Cb` for the same input). Single-element `[null]` arrays still collapse via the existing `obj.join(',') || null` and remain subject to `skipNulls` / `strictNullHandling` in the main loop. ### Affected versions `>=6.11.1 <6.15.2` — fixed in v6.15.2. The vulnerable code shape was introduced in 4c4b23d and first shipped in v6.11.1. Earlier versions — including all of 6.7.x, 6.8.x, 6.9.x, 6.10.x, and 6.11.0 — implemented the comma + `encodeValuesOnly` path differently (joining before encoding) and are not affected. Empirically verified across released versions. ### Impact Application code that calls `qs.stringify` with both `arrayFormat: 'comma'` and `encodeValuesOnly: true` (both non-default) on input that may contain a `null` or `undefined` array element will throw synchronously instead of producing a query string. In a typical Node.js HTTP framework (Express, Fastify, Koa, hapi) the sync throw is caught by the framework's error boundary and the affected request returns a 500; the worker process does not exit and subsequent requests are unaffected. The "kills the worker process" framing applies only to call sites outside a request-handler error boundary (background jobs, startup paths, stream pipelines) or to deployments with framework error handling explicitly disabled. The vulnerable input is a `null` or `undefined` entry inside an array; this is reachable from JSON request bodies or from application code constructing arrays from user input, but not from standard HTML form submissions (which produce strings or omitted fields, not literal `null`). | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110816 | 6.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | ### Summary `qs.stringify` with `arrayFormat: 'comma'` throws `TypeError: Cannot convert object to primitive value` when an array element cannot be coerced to a string, such as an object with an own non-callable `toString` (`{ "toString": "x" }`) or a null-prototype object. The comma format joins array elements with `Array.prototype.join` and, under `encodeValuesOnly`, first passes each element through `String()` in `utils.encode`; neither guards against an element whose string coercion fails. ### Details In `lib/stringify.js`, the comma branch collapses the array with `obj.join(',')`. For an element whose own `toString` is not callable, `ToPrimitive` skips it, falls through to `Object.prototype.valueOf` (which returns the object itself), and throws. Under `encodeValuesOnly: true`, the same element first reaches `String(str)` in `utils.encode` (`lib/utils.js`) and throws there. Nested arrays (`{ "a": [[{ "toString": "x" }]] }`) throw the same way, through `Array.prototype.toString`. The `indices`, `brackets`, and `repeat` formats walk into object elements instead of coercing them, and are not affected. Such elements can come from untrusted input. `JSON.parse` produces `{ "a": [{ "toString": "x" }] }` with no qs option involved. `qs.parse("a[0][toString]=x", { allowPrototypes: true })` keeps the `toString` key, and `qs.parse("a[][b]=c", { plainObjects: true })` produces a null-prototype element; the default parse options drop `toString` and produce ordinary objects, which do not throw. Express 4's default `query parser`, Express 5's `extended` query parser, and body-parser's `urlencoded({ extended: true })` all call `qs.parse` with `allowPrototypes: true`. #### PoC ```js var qs = require("qs"); qs.stringify(JSON.parse("{\"a\":[{\"toString\":\"x\"}]}"), { arrayFormat: "comma" }); qs.stringify(qs.parse("a[0][toString]=x", { allowPrototypes: true }), { arrayFormat: "comma" }); qs.stringify(qs.parse("a[][b]=c", { plainObjects: true }), { arrayFormat: "comma", encodeValuesOnly: true }); // TypeError: Cannot convert object to primitive value ``` #### Fix Applied in a952e75 on `main` and released as v6.16.1: an element whose string coercion would fail is coerced to its primitive `valueOf`, if any, or else to `Object.prototype.toString`, so it renders as `[object Object]`, the same as any other object element already does under the comma format. Nested arrays are walked the way `join` walks them. Every input that did not previously throw serializes exactly as before, and a `toString` or `valueOf` that itself throws still propagates. ### Affected versions `>=6.7.0 <6.16.1`, fixed in v6.16.1. The `join` path was introduced with the comma format in b84acba and first shipped in v6.7.0; v6.6.x and earlier ignore `arrayFormat: 'comma'` and are not affected. The `encodeValuesOnly` `String()` site was introduced in 4c4b23d (v6.11.1); before that, the same input throws at `join`. Every release from v6.7.0 through v6.16.0 is affected. ### Impact An unauthenticated request can make any code path that re-serializes attacker-influenced data with `qs.stringify` and `arrayFormat: 'comma'` (for example, rebuilding a query string from `req.query` for a redirect or an upstream request, or serializing a parsed JSON body) throw synchronously. In a typical Node.js HTTP framework the throw is caught by the framework error boundary and the affected request returns a 500; the process survives and other requests are unaffected. Where the call runs outside an error boundary, such as an `async` Express 4 handler (where the throw becomes an unhandled promise rejection) or a bare `http` request handler, the process exits, so the impact in that case depends on the application error handling rather than on qs. The default `arrayFormat` (`indices`) is not affected. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106436 | 6.3 medium | 0.00% | mongodb, php_driver | The BSON encoder in the MongoDB PHP Driver does not check some return values after a document exceeds libbson's size limit. This can leave the encoder in an invalid state. An unauthenticated actor who can cause an affected application to encode an unusually large data structure can terminate the PHP worker or cause the resulting document to omit fields. No MongoDB server connection or database authentication is required. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61573 | 6.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | AVideo is a video-sharing Platform. Prior to 8.1.0, the anonymous login interface reflects request values into HTML and JavaScript without output encoding. In `view/index.php`, `webSiteRootURL` is returned verbatim by `Streamer::getStreamerURL()` in `objects/Streamer.php` and reaches navigation and form attributes; it also enters a single-quoted JavaScript string in `view/index.header.php`. It is not filtered by `objects/security.php`, while the `user` and `pass` fields are filtered only for single quotes, leaving double quotes and angle brackets capable of breaking out of their HTML attributes. In addition, `view/index.header.php` reflects POST fields using `json_encode` without `JSON_HEX_TAG`, allowing a closing script tag to break out, and `locale/function.php` stores the POST `lang` value in the session for unescaped reflection in `view/index.php`. An unauthenticated remote attacker who persuades a victim to open a crafted login link can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the encoder's origin. This can read the operator session identifier exposed in inline script, capture login credentials and perform actions as the operator against the encoder and its upstream platform. This issue is fixed in version 8.1.0. | Wed 28 Oct |

| CVE-2025-6024 | 6.1 medium | 0.00% | wso2, api_manager, identity_server | The authentication endpoint fails to encode user-supplied input before rendering it in the web page, allowing for script injection. An attacker can leverage this by injecting malicious scripts into the authentication endpoint. This can result in the user's browser being redirected to a malicious website, manipulation of the web page's user interface, or the retrieval of information from the browser. However, session hijacking is not possible due to the httpOnly flag protecting session-related cookies. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-87869 | 6.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Filter Everything — WordPress & WooCommerce Filters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 1.9.6. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the flrt_elementor_load_more_anchor() function. The function reads query parameters from $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] via getFormActionOrFullPageUrl(true), which URL-decodes them through parse_str() and re-assembles them using build_query() — a WordPress core function that does NOT re-encode values ($urlencode=false). The resulting URL, containing unescaped special characters, is injected into a data-next-page HTML attribute via preg_replace() without esc_attr() or esc_url(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-59821 | 6.1 medium | 0.00% | dnnsoftware, dotnetnuke | DNN (formerly DotNetNuke) is an open-source web content management platform (CMS) in the Microsoft ecosystem. Prior to version 10.1.0, DNN’s URL/path handling and template rendering can allow specially crafted input to be reflected into a user profile that is returned to the browser. In these cases, the application does not sufficiently neutralize or encode characters that are meaningful in HTML, so an attacker can cause a victim’s browser to interpret attacker-controlled content as part of the page’s HTML. This issue has been patched in version 10.1.0. | 11 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106122 | 6.0 medium | 0.00% | vmware, rabbitmq_java_client | The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.36.0, ValueReader.readShortstr decodes malformed UTF-8 bytes into replacement characters that can re-encode beyond the AMQP shortstr limit enforced by ValueWriter.writeShortstr. An attacker who can submit an RPC message with a malformed echoed property can cause reply publication in RpcServer.mainloop() or tutorial-style consumers to throw an unchecked exception before acknowledgement. The broker requeues the message, allowing the same message to disable replacement consumers until the queue is purged. This issue is fixed in version 5.36.0. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-92842 | 5.9 medium | 0.00% | php | The convert.base64-encode, convert.quoted-printable-encode and convert.quoted-printable-decode stream filters accept a line-break-chars option whose length is tracked separately from the string itself. The filter constructors duplicate the value with pestrdup(), which stops at the first NUL byte, while keeping the original length. When the filter later emits a line break it copies the recorded length out of the truncated allocation, reading past its end and placing adjacent heap bytes into the filter output. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104774 | 5.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, the t:jsDecode transformation in internal/transformations/js_decode.go:64-70 includes the backslash in the octal buffer, causing ParseInt to fail and return a null byte. The flaw is triggered when a rule relies on t:jsDecode and the request contains JavaScript octal escape sequences. An unauthenticated attacker can encode attack syntax with JavaScript octal escapes so the backend decodes the intended bytes while Coraza rules using t:jsDecode inspect corrupted null-byte output. The mismatch can bypass WAF rules and expose the protected application to attacks such as cross-site scripting or SQL injection. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-12039 | 5.7 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Docker Sandboxes (sbx) enforces an HTTP/S-only egress allowlist but does not apply it to DNS resolution: the per-network embedded DNS server forwards any queried name to the host resolver whenever the network is internet-connected, without consulting the policy. A workload inside a sandbox, which the threat model treats as untrusted, can therefore encode data into DNS labels for an attacker-controlled domain and exfiltrate it through a DNS covert channel, bypassing the configured allowlist. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-59730 | 5.7 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | When decoding a frame for a SANM file (ANIM v0 variant), the decoded data can be larger than the buffer allocated for it. Frames encoded with codec 48 can specify their resolution (width x height). A buffer of appropriate size is allocated depending on the resolution. This codec can encode the frame contents using a run-length encoding algorithm. There are no checks that the decoded frame fits in the allocated buffer, leading to a heap-buffer-overflow. process_frame_obj initializes the buffers based on the frame resolution: We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110777 | 5.7 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A flaw was found in evolution-data-server. Calendar events containing a file:// URI in their ATTACH property automatically read the targeted local file, base64-encode its contents and upload it back to the server when the event is saved. There are no file path restrictions or checks to verify whether the attachment originally came from the server or was added locally. This allows an attacker with access to a shared CalDAV calendar to exfiltrate arbitrary files the user has access to when interacting with malicious calendar events. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2025-38691 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pNFS: Fix uninited ptr deref in block/scsi layout The error occurs on the third attempt to encode extents. When function ext_tree_prepare_commit() reallocates a larger buffer to retry encoding extents, the "layoutupdate_pages" page array is initialized only after the retry loop. But ext_tree_free_commitdata() is called on every iteration and tries to put pages in the array, thus dereferencing uninitialized pointers. An additional problem is that there is no limit on the maximum possible buffer_size. When there are too many extents, the client may create a layoutcommit that is larger than the maximum possible RPC size accepted by the server. During testing, we observed two typical scenarios. First, one memory page for extents is enough when we work with small files, append data to the end of the file, or preallocate extents before writing. But when we fill a new large file without preallocating, the number of extents can be huge, and counting the number of written extents in ext_tree_encode_commit() does not help much. Since this number increases even more between unlocking and locking of ext_tree, the reallocated buffer may not be large enough again and again. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2024-57924 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: relax assertions on failure to encode file handles Encoding file handles is usually performed by a filesystem >encode_fh() method that may fail for various reasons. The legacy users of exportfs_encode_fh(), namely, nfsd and name_to_handle_at(2) syscall are ready to cope with the possibility of failure to encode a file handle. There are a few other users of exportfs_encode_{fh,fid}() that currently have a WARN_ON() assertion when ->encode_fh() fails. Relax those assertions because they are wrong. The second linked bug report states commit 16aac5ad1fa9 ("ovl: support encoding non-decodable file handles") in v6.6 as the regressing commit, but this is not accurate. The aforementioned commit only increases the chances of the assertion and allows triggering the assertion with the reproducer using overlayfs, inotify and drop_caches. Triggering this assertion was always possible with other filesystems and other reasons of ->encode_fh() failures and more particularly, it was also possible with the exact same reproducer using overlayfs that is mounted with options index=on,nfs_export=on also on kernels < v6.6. Therefore, I am not listing the aforementioned commit as a Fixes commit. Backport hint: this patch will have a trivial conflict applying to v6.6.y, and other trivial conflicts applying to stable kernels < v6.6. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2024-36007 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mlxsw: spectrum_acl_tcam: Fix warning during rehash As previously explained, the rehash delayed work migrates filters from one region to another. This is done by iterating over all chunks (all the filters with the same priority) in the region and in each chunk iterating over all the filters. When the work runs out of credits it stores the current chunk and entry as markers in the per-work context so that it would know where to resume the migration from the next time the work is scheduled. Upon error, the chunk marker is reset to NULL, but without resetting the entry markers despite being relative to it. This can result in migration being resumed from an entry that does not belong to the chunk being migrated. In turn, this will eventually lead to a chunk being iterated over as if it is an entry. Because of how the two structures happen to be defined, this does not lead to KASAN splats, but to warnings such as [1]. Fix by creating a helper that resets all the markers and call it from all the places the currently only reset the chunk marker. For good measures also call it when starting a completely new rehash. Add a warning to avoid future cases. | CVE-2024-26973 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fat: fix uninitialized field in nostale filehandles When fat_encode_fh_nostale() encodes file handle without a parent it stores only first 10 bytes of the file handle. However the length of the file handle must be a multiple of 4 so the file handle is actually 12 bytes long and the last two bytes remain uninitialized. This is not great at we potentially leak uninitialized information with the handle to userspace. Properly initialize the full handle length. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2025-63528 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | shridharshukl, blood_bank_management_system | A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Blood Bank Management System 1.0 within the blooddinfo.php component. The application fails to properly sanitize or encode user-supplied input before rendering it in response. An attacker can inject malicious JavaScript payloads into the error parameter, which is then executed in the victim's browser when the page is viewed. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40891 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | opentelemetry | OpenTelemetry dotnet is a dotnet telemetry framework. From 1.13.1 to before 1.15.2, When exporting telemetry over gRPC using the OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP), the exporter may parse a server-provided grpc-status-details-bin trailer during retry handling. Prior to the fix, a malformed trailer could encode an extremely large length-delimited protobuf field which was used directly for allocation, allowing excessive memory allocation and potential denial of service (DoS). This vulnerability is fixed in 1.15.2. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44309 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Gitsign is a keyless Sigstore to signing tool for Git commits with your a GitHub / OIDC identity. Prior to 0.16.0, gitsign verify and gitsign verify-tag re-encode commit/tag objects through go-git's EncodeWithoutSignature before checking the signature, instead of verifying against the raw git object bytes. For malformed objects with duplicate tree headers, git-core and go-git parse different trees: git-core uses the first, go-git uses the second. A signature crafted over the go-git-normalized form (second tree) passes gitsign verify while git-core resolves the commit to a completely different tree. This breaks the invariant that a verified signature, the commit semantics git-core presents to users, and the object hash logged in Rekor all refer to the same content. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.16.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48817 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | encode, starlette | Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. In versions 1.0.1 and below, when dispatching a request, HTTPEndpoint selects the handler by lowercasing the HTTP method and looking it up as an attribute with getattr, without restricting the lookup to a known set of HTTP verbs. When an HTTPEndpoint subclass is registered through Route(...) without an explicit methods= argument, the route does not constrain the method and every method reaches the endpoint. If a non-standard HTTP method whose lowercased name matches an attribute on the endpoint subclass reaches the endpoint, that attribute is invoked as if it were a request handler. An attacker can use this to reach methods that were never meant to be HTTP handlers, such as internal helpers, without the authorization checks applied by the intended public handler. An application (including Starlette-based frameworks like FastAPI) is affected if it registers an HTTPEndpoint subclass via Route(...) without explicitly setting methods=, and that subclass includes extra methods named like non-standard HTTP verbs that take one request argument and return a response. This issue has been fixed in version 1.1.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54282 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | encode, starlette | Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. Prior to 1.3.0, the HTTP request path is not validated before being used to reconstruct request.url. Because request.url is rebuilt by concatenating {scheme}://{host}{path} and re-parsing the result, a path that does not begin with / (for example @google.com) moves the authority boundary during re-parsing, so request.url.hostname and request.url.netloc become attacker-controlled. Code that reads request.url.hostname (rather than the Host header or scope) can therefore be misled into trusting an attacker-supplied host. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.3.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62291 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted image sequence with a 2x2 primary plane and a 256x256 auxiliary alpha plane can cause attacker-controlled heap corruption during a normal decode and re-encode workflow. Track_Visual::decode_next_image_sample() calls transfer_channel_from_image_as() without checking that the auxiliary alpha dimensions match the main frame. The resulting inconsistent image reaches heif_track_decode_next_image() and then heif_context_encode_image(). In unc_encoder::encode(), unc_encoder_component_interleave::encode_tile() sizes its buffer with compute_tile_data_size_bytes() using the primary dimensions but copies each component using its actual plane dimensions. The oversized alpha plane is therefore copied beyond the allocation, causing an out-of-bounds write; the inverse size mismatch can also produce an out-of-bounds read. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2025-10745 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Banhammer – Monitor Site Traffic, Block Bad Users and Bots plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Blocking Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.8. This is due to a site-wide “secret key” being deterministically generated from a constant character set using md5() and base64_encode() and then stored in the `banhammer_secret_key` option. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass the plugin’s logging and blocking by appending a GET parameter named `banhammer-process_{SECRET}` where `{SECRET}` is the predictable value, thereby causing Banhammer to abort its protections for that request. | 11 Oct |
| CVE-2026-39425 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | maxkb | MaxKB is an open-source AI assistant for enterprise. Versions 2.7.1 and below contain a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows authenticated users to inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript into the Application prologue (Opening Remarks) field by wrapping malicious payloads in <html_rander> tags. The backend fails to sanitize or encode HTML entities in the prologue field when applications are created or updated via the /admin/api/workspace/{workspace_id}/application endpoint, storing the raw payload directly in the database. The frontend then renders this content using an innerHTML-equivalent mechanism, trusting <html_rander>-wrapped content to be safe, which enables persistent DOM-based Stored XSS execution against any visitor who opens the affected chatbot interface. Exploitation can lead to session hijacking, unauthorized actions performed on behalf of victims (such as deleting workspaces or applications), and sensitive data exposure. This issue has been fixed in version 2.8.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44429 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | lfprojects, mcp_registry | The MCP Registry provides MCP clients with a list of MCP servers, like an app store for MCP servers. Prior to 1.7.7, the public catalogue UI served at GET / (file internal/api/handlers/v0/ui_index.html) is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting via the server.websiteUrl field of any published server.json. Server-side validation in internal/validators/validators.go (validateWebsiteURL) only checks that the URL parses, is absolute, and uses the https scheme; it does not reject quote characters. Client-side, the value is interpolated into a double-quoted href attribute via innerHTML, using a homegrown escapeHtml helper that performs the standard textContent → innerHTML round-trip. Per the HTML serialisation algorithm, that round-trip encodes only &, <, > and U+00A0 inside text nodes — it does not encode " or '. A literal " in websiteUrl therefore breaks out of the href attribute, allowing arbitrary on* event handlers to be appended to the same element. The Content-Security-Policy on / is script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' https://cdn.tailwindcss.com, so the injected event handlers execute. Any user able to obtain a publish token (e.g. via POST /v0/auth/github-at with their own GitHub account, or POST /v0/auth/none on a deployment that has anonymous auth enabled) can plant a poisoned record visible to every visitor of the registry homepage. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46363 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | phpMyFAQ before 4.1.2 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in FAQ creation and update endpoints that bypass sanitization through encode-decode cycles. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with FAQ_ADD permission to inject malicious script tags via question or answer parameters, which execute in every visitor's browser when FAQ content is rendered with the raw Twig filter. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112111 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Bootstrap Shortcodes plugin for WordPress before 3.4.6 is vulnerable to stored XSS via the id attribute of the [bs_tcontent] shortcode. The bs_tcontent() shortcode handler in inc/bs_tabs.php emits the id attribute value into an unquoted HTML attribute. esc_attr() is applied, but it does not encode space characters, so a space in the supplied value terminates the attribute and any following text is parsed as additional HTML attributes, including JavaScript event handlers. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web script that executes in the browser of any user who views the page and interacts with the injected element. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-34305 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | ipfire | IPFire versions prior to 2.29 (Core Update 198) contain multiple stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities caused by a bug in the cleanhtml() function (/var/ipfire/header.pl) that fails to apply HTML-entity encoding to user input. When an authenticated user submits data to affected endpoints - for example, POST /cgi-bin/wakeonlan.cgi (CLIENT_COMMENT), /cgi-bin/dhcp.cgi (ADVOPT_DATA, FIX_REMARK, FIX_FILENAME, FIX_ROOTPATH), /cgi-bin/connscheduler.cgi (ACTION_COMMENT), /cgi-bin/dnsforward.cgi (REMARK), /cgi-bin/vpnmain.cgi (REMARK), or /cgi-bin/dns.cgi (REMARK) - the application calls escape() and HTML::Entities::encode_entities() but never assigns the sanitized result back to the output variable. The original unsanitized value is therefore stored and later rendered in the web interface without proper sanitation or encoding, allowing injected scripts to execute in the context of other users who view the affected entries. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-9703 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Ultimate Addons for Elementor (Formerly Elementor Header & Footer Builder) WordPress plugin before 2.5.0 does not sanitize SVG file contents when uploaded through the xmlrpc.php endpoint using base64 encode, leading to a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110725 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser and serializer for Node.js. In versions before 2.4.8, from 3.0.0 through 3.1.8, and from 4.0.0 through 4.2.2, when serialize(), normalize(), or resolve() are called with the non-default option reference set to suffix on a reference that has no authority, the emitted relative reference can contain a bare colon in its first path segment without escaping it, even though RFC 3986 forbids that because it makes the string reparse as an absolute URI with a scheme. An application that serializes or normalizes a relative reference with the suffix option and then treats the result as a URI can turn inert input into a live javascript, data, or vbscript URL, a cross-site scripting vector, and the equal() comparison can conflate a scheme-bearing reference with a relative one. Exposure is limited to applications using the non-default suffix reference option. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 2.4.8, 3.1.9, and 4.2.3, and users should upgrade to one of these versions or later. As a workaround, avoid the suffix reference option on untrusted input, or percent-encode a colon in the first path segment of the result before treating it as a URI. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103930 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | cpp-httplib is a C++ header-only HTTP/HTTPS library. From 0.29.0 until 0.51.0, Client::open_stream in httplib.h accepts a caller-controlled path that reaches detail::write_request_line() without the detail::encode_path() protection used by the ordinary buffered request path. Raw carriage-return and line-feed bytes in the path can therefore split the outbound HTTP/1.1 request line and inject attacker-shaped request metadata. Exploitation requires an embedding application to pass remote user input into the open_stream path and a backend or intermediary that interprets the injected bytes; the established impact is modification of backend-visible request data, not direct confidentiality or availability impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.51.0. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-13482 | 2.9 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability was detected in skypilot-org skypilot up to 0.12.0. Impacted is the function username.encode of the file sky/users/server.py of the component User ID Handler. The manipulation results in use of weak hash. The attack may be performed from remote. This attack is characterized by high complexity. The exploitability is considered difficult. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-119427 | 2.3 low | 0.00% | phpmyadmin | phpMyAdmin through 5.2.3 contains an sql injection vulnerability in Designer saveSetting() that allows authenticated users to inject SQL via unescaped json_encode() output. Attackers can send crafted index or value parameters with operation=save_setting_value to /database/designer to overwrite other users' designer settings or run controluser subqueries. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2026-116103 | 2.1 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability was identified in Sony Neural Network Libraries up to 1.39.0. This affects the function load_param_in_txt of the file python/src/nnabla/utils/cli/encode_decode_param.py of the component Encode Param Command Handler. Such manipulation leads to code injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56813 | 2.1 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Improper Neutralization of Parameter/Argument Delimiters vulnerability in elixir-plug plug allows an attacker to inject or override HTTP cookie attributes. The Plug.Conn.Cookies.encode/2 function in lib/plug/conn/cookies.ex builds the Set-Cookie response header by interpolating the cookie value and its path, domain, same_site, and extra attributes directly into the header without neutralizing the ; delimiter that separates cookie attributes. An application that places attacker-controlled data into a cookie value or attribute (for example via Plug.Conn.put_resp_cookie/4 when reflecting a username or preference) lets an attacker inject a ; to append or override cookie attributes (such as Domain and Path scope, or dropping the Secure and HttpOnly flags), enabling cookie tossing and session fixation. Carriage return, line feed, and null bytes are rejected by Plug.Conn header validation, so HTTP response splitting is not possible, but attribute injection through ; is not prevented. This issue affects plug: from 0.1.0 before 1.16.6, from 1.17.0 before 1.17.4, from 1.18.0 before 1.18.5, from 1.19.1 before 1.19.5, and from 1.20.0 before 1.20.3. | 24 Oct |
