| CVE-2026-107303 | 7.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. Prior to generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0, generated applications can persist attacker-controlled Blob data and companion ContentType values, return them through generated REST endpoints, and pass them to the generated openFile helper in generators/client/generators/common/templates/src/main/webapp/app/shared/jhipster/data-utils.ts.ejs. The helper uses the returned ContentType as the browser Blob MIME type and opens an object URL, so a normal authenticated user with write access to a Blob-bearing entity can store active HTML or SVG content that may execute under the application origin when a privileged user opens it. Exploitability depends on the generated application's content security policy and target-browser Blob behavior. This issue is fixed in generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-31934 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | oisf, suricata | Suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine. From version 8.0.0 to before version 8.0.4, there is a quadratic complexity issue when searching for URLs in mime encoded messages over SMTP leading to a performance impact. This issue has been patched in version 8.0.4. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-14899 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | mozilla, thunderbird | The code to parse MIME headers for display when forwarding a message (if the setting to view all headers was enabled) had an off-by-one error, allowing a single byte to be read from the memory after the buffer for the headers, and potentially crashing Thunderbird. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 153 and Thunderbird 140.13. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107577 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Inefficient algorithmic complexity and a non-terminating loop in the MIME processing of received messages in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to make the mail services unavailable by sending a message. Removing a MIME header parameter whose value is empty and directly followed by a semicolon (for example a Content-Disposition with 'filename=a.bat; filename=;') entered a loop that never terminates, holding a worker thread at full load until the server is restarted; this is reached when the attachment blocker renames a blocked attachment or a filename is set over the REST API. Separately, decoding a header field that holds many RFC 2047 encoded words of an encoding other than base64 or quoted-printable, removing a parameter with many RFC 2231 continuations, and deleting many header fields of one name each took time growing with the square of the message, on the small thread pools that serve IMAP, SMTP and POP3 connections, delivery and the REST API. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-16118 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A flaw was found in xdgmime. A heap-based buffer overflow can be triggered in _xdg_mime_magic_parse_magic_line() in the xdgmimemagic.c file on little-endian systems when an attacker-controlled MIME magic file in a user-writable XDG data location (e.g., in the $XDG_DATA_HOME/mime/magic path) is parsed by an application performing MIME type detection (e.g., via g_content_type_guess()). When performing byte-swap, incorrect pointer arithmetic on the write side causes an out-of-bounds write of 2 bytes, resulting in an application crash or memory corruption. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-34336 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | eGovFramework/egovframe-common-components versions up to and including 4.3.1 contain an unauthenticated file upload vulnerability via the /utl/wed/insertImage.do and /utl/wed/insertImageCk.do image upload endpoints. These controllers accept multipart requests without authentication, pass the uploaded content to a shared upload helper, and store the file on the server under a framework-controlled path. The framework then returns a download URL that can be used to retrieve the uploaded content, including an attacker-controlled Content-Type within the limits of the image upload functionality. While a filename extension whitelist is enforced, the attacker fully controls the file contents. The response MIME type used is also attacker-controlled when the file is served up to version < 4.1.2. Since version 4.1.2, it is possible to download any image uploaded with any whitelisted content type. But any file uploaded other than an image will be served with the `application/octet-stream` content type (the content type is no longer controlled by the attacker since version 4.1.2). This enables an unauthenticated attacker to use any affected application as a persistent file hosting service for arbitrary content under the application's origin. KISA/KrCERT has identified this unpatched vulnerability as "KVE-2023-5280." | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-75529 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Pandora is affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the PDF download functionality. The /task-download/<task_id>/.../pdf endpoint verifies that the submitted file is a PDF using Pandora's content-based file-type detection, but previously returned the file using send_file(task.file.path) without explicitly specifying the MIME type or forcing it to be downloaded as an attachment. Because Flask determines the response MIME type from the filename when a path is supplied, an attacker could submit a file whose content is recognized by Pandora as a PDF while its filename or extension causes the download endpoint to return it with a different, potentially active MIME type. A specially crafted PDF/polyglot file could therefore be served inline and interpreted by a victim's browser as HTML or another executable web format. If a victim with access to the submitted analysis follows the PDF download link, attacker-controlled script could execute in the security context of the Pandora application, potentially allowing access to application data or actions using the victim's session. The patch prevents the issue by explicitly returning PDF downloads with Content-Type: application/pdf, forcing Content-Disposition: attachment, and assigning a trusted .pdf filename based on the task UUID. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102471 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | eclipse, vert.x | In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the vertx-mail-client does not sanitize CR (\r) or LF (\n) characters in user-supplied email header names and values before writing them into the SMTP DATA section. A CR/LF sequence embedded in a name or value passed to MailMessage.addHeader(), MailMessage.setHeaders(), MailAttachment.addHeader(), or MailAttachment.setHeaders() is written verbatim to the wire, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary headers (e.g. Bcc, Reply-To, Content-Type) or prepend body content to the outgoing message. The same weakness affects MIME part metadata set via MailAttachment.setContentType(), setDisposition(), setDescription(), and setContentId(), which are written directly into MIME part headers without validation. A secondary weakness in Utils.mustEncode(char) additionally allows a bare LF in a From display-name to bypass Q-encoding and reach the wire unchanged. An unauthenticated attacker who can control any header name, header value, or attachment metadata field passed to the mail client (for example via a web form or API that feeds into MailMessage) can exploit this to redirect email copies, spoof headers, or tamper with message structure. The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-mail-client. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106933 | 6.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Blaze Demo Importer WordPress plugin before 1.0.17 does not sanitize uploaded SVG files and registers the SVG MIME type for the WordPress media library unconditionally, allowing authenticated users with the Author role or higher to upload a crafted SVG that executes arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of any user who opens the file. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2023-0430 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | mozilla, thunderbird | Certificate OCSP revocation status was not checked when verifying S/Mime signatures. Mail signed with a revoked certificate would be displayed as having a valid signature. Thunderbird versions from 68 to 102.7.0 were affected by this bug. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 102.7.1. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2023-0616 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | mozilla, thunderbird | If a MIME email combines OpenPGP and OpenPGP MIME data in a certain way Thunderbird repeatedly attempts to process and display the message, which could cause Thunderbird's user interface to lock up and no longer respond to the user's actions. An attacker could send a crafted message with this structure to attempt a DoS attack. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 102.8. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2023-0547 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | mozilla, thunderbird | OCSP revocation status of recipient certificates was not checked when sending S/Mime encrypted email, and revoked certificates would be accepted. Thunderbird versions from 68 to 102.9.1 were affected by this bug. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 102.10. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-10631 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An authorization bypass in the EWS FindItem handler of Zimbra Collaboration Suite 10.1.0 through 10.1.19 allows an authenticated user with EWS enabled to read complete mailbox items, including raw MIME and attachments, from arbitrary local accounts without a share or delegation grant. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-15305 | 6.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Users were able to upload files with arbitrary MIME types to forms using FileUpload or ImageUpload elements with allowedMimeTypes configured. The restriction was not enforced server-side because the MimeTypeValidator was registered during form building before concrete form definition properties were applied, resulting in the validator never being added to the processing pipeline. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions 14.2.0-14.3.4. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57511 | 6.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SuperPlane before 0.30.0 contains an SMTP header injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary SMTP headers by including CRLF sequences in the event payload title field delivered via webhook. Attackers can manipulate the unsanitized title field passed to the SMTP DATA command to add Bcc recipients for content exfiltration, forge the From address to bypass SPF and DKIM checks, or inject Content-Type and MIME boundary headers to corrupt message bodies for phishing. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44587 | 6.1 medium | 0.00% | carrierwave_project, carrierwave | CarrierWave is a framework to upload files from Ruby applications. In versions prior to 2.2.7 and 3.1.3, the content_type_denylist check fails to escape regex metacharacters in string entries, causing the denylist to silently not match the content types it is intended to block. In lib/carrierwave/uploader/content_type_denylist.rb:57, denylist entries are interpolated directly into a regex without Regexp.quote or anchoring, so an entry such as image/svg+xml becomes the pattern /image\/svg+xml/, in which + is treated as a quantifier rather than a literal character and therefore never matches the real MIME type image/svg+xml. This is inconsistent with the allowlist implementation, which correctly applies both Regexp.quote and a \A anchor. Other content types containing regex metacharacters, such as application/xhtml+xml, are affected as well. As a result, any application that relies on content_type_denylist to block image/svg+xml, most commonly to prevent stored XSS, is silently unprotected. An attacker can upload an SVG file containing arbitrary JavaScript; if the application serves that SVG inline from its own origin, the script executes in the victim's browser, resulting in stored XSS. This issue has been fixed in versions 2.2.7 and 3.1.3. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107587 | 5.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Improper certificate validation in the webmail of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.2 through 6.3.5 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to have S/MIME-encrypted mail that the account later sends to another correspondent also encrypted to the attacker's key. When its recipient opened a signed message, the webmail kept the signer's certificate for encrypting replies whether or not the server found its chain trusted, under the first e-mail address the certificate listed rather than the message's From address, and beside any certificate already held for that address. Encrypted mail later sent from the webmail to that address was encrypted to every certificate held for it, so a holder of the kept certificate's key who obtains a copy of such a message can read it. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114726 | 5.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 is affected by a mail header injection vulnerability in the Bounce (resend) action. rcube_mime::decode_address_list() did not strip control characters from the decoded display name, so a received message whose From display-name carries CRLF sequences in an encoded word could inject arbitrary headers into the message emitted when the user bounces it. Upstream fixed this in the commit “Fix mail header injection via the From display-name in the Bounce (resend) action”. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114479 | 5.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Not failing securely in the anti-virus attachment-stripping action of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to have a message that the server's virus scanner found infected delivered to the recipient's mailbox unchanged. With virus scanning enabled and its action set to remove attachments and deliver the text (the default action deletes the message), the server keeps one text part of an infected message and replaces every attachment with a note. A message whose single part is not text - a program or an archive sent as the whole message, a message carried whole, a file declared an attachment, or an S/MIME message signed as one part, whose content the recipient's mail client opens - had no part the action could pick out, and was delivered as it arrived, with the content the scanner had found and nothing but a line in the application log to show it. Any sender can write such a message. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2025-20360 | 5.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 HTTP Decoder that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart. This vulnerability is due to a lack of complete error checking when the MIME fields of the HTTP header are parsed. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection to be parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the Snort 3 Detection Engine unexpectedly restarts. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-50571 | 5.7 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | WebSub is a W3C recommendation produced by the Social Web Working Group. In recommendation REC-websub-20180123, the intent-verification protocol requires a subscriber to echo the `hub.challenge` value, also exposed as `hub_challenge` by some frameworks, but does not require safe response media typing or disabled MIME sniffing. An attacker can initiate a subscription to obtain a callback URL and redirect a victim browser to a crafted verification request containing HTML or JavaScript. Subscribers that return the challenge as `text/html` can execute the reflected content in the subscriber origin, using a victim's existing session to read private data or perform actions, exposing `localStorage` or `sessionStorage` and browser permissions granted to that origin. An alternative uses the verification response as an attacker-controlled same-origin script resource to bypass `script-src 'self'`; this can remain possible with `application/octet-stream` when MIME sniffing is allowed. Safe media typing and `X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff` are both needed to address the described scenarios. WebSub Rocks demonstrated reflection, but the advisory does not establish practical impact on that demonstration site. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2025-8871 | 5.6 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Everest Forms (Pro) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.7 via deserialization of untrusted input in the mime_content_type() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. This vulnerability may be exploited by unauthenticated attackers when a form is present on the site with a non-required signature form field along with an image upload field. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. This vulnerability is only exploitable in PHP versions prior to 8. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113869 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | When Thunderbird asked for a security device password (for example a smartcard PIN or the Primary Password) while decrypting an S/MIME message, the message load could finish or be cancelled while the prompt was open. This freed the message decoder while it was still in use, causing a use-after-free and a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 158.0.1 and Thunderbird 153.6. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-4364 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access | IBM Verify Identity Access Container 11.0 through 11.0.2 and IBM Security Verify Access Container 10.0 through 10.0.9.1 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.2 and IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.1 allows certificate listings retrieved via a browser session to return a JSON payload while incorrectly specifying the response Content-Type as text/html. Because the content is delivered with an HTML MIME type, browsers may interpret the JSON data as executable script under certain conditions. This creates an opportunity for JavaScript injection, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS). | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-43877 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, objects/userSavePhoto.php is a legacy profile-photo endpoint that accepts a base64 POST parameter and writes the decoded bytes to videos/userPhoto/photo<users_id>.png. Its only access control is User::isLogged(). It does not end in .json.php, so it is excluded from the project's global autoCSRFGuard (which is suffix-scoped in objects/include_config.php). There is no CSRF token, no Origin/Referer check, and no MIME validation of the decoded bytes. Because AVideo's default cookie policy is SameSite=None; Secure on HTTPS (objects/functionsPHP.php:227), an attacker who lures a logged-in user to a malicious page can overwrite that user's profile photo with arbitrary bytes and also triggers a site-wide clearCache(true) on every forged request. Commit 9c38468041505e637101c5943c5370c68f48e3ac contains an updated fix. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72583 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in fastschema through v0.15.1 allows a low-privileged authenticated user to upload an SVG file containing malicious JavaScript by bypassing the MIME type allow-list check. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113472 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Depicter — Popup & Slider Builder WordPress plugin before 4.8.2 does not properly validate uploaded files in its editor media-upload endpoint, checking only the client-supplied MIME type and a case-sensitive block of the .php extension, which allows users with the Editor role and above to upload files with other active extensions into the public uploads directory, leading to stored script execution in the site origin and, depending on the server's handler mapping, to code execution. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66911 | 5.3 medium | — | synacor, zimbra collaboration | Zimbra is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) via the Content-Location MIME header in email attachments. Due to lack of sanitization of the Content-Location header, an attacker can set it to a javascript: URI. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a crafted email to a victim; when the victim opens the email in the Zimbra web interface and clicks the attachment name, the JavaScript payload executes in the victim's browser context. This issue was fixed in version 10.1.21 | 4 h ago |
| CVE-2026-116739 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | VMime through 0.9.2 contains an information disclosure vulnerability in the uuEncoder::decode function that writes uninitialized stack memory into decoded output for over-long lines. Attackers can send a crafted uuencode or x-uuencode MIME part with a large line length byte to leak up to 15 bytes of stack contents per line in decoded attachments. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-22707 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | strapi | Strapi is an open source headless content management system. In Strapi versions prior to 5.33.3, the Upload plugin's Content API endpoints did not enforce the administrator-configured MIME type restrictions (`plugin.upload.security.allowedTypes` and `deniedTypes`). The same restrictions were correctly enforced on the Admin Panel upload path. The upload plugin's `enforceUploadSecurity` security check was invoked in the admin upload controller but was missing from the Content API controller. The Content API handlers `uploadFiles` and `replaceFile` (and the `upload` wrapper that dispatches to them) called the underlying upload service directly, bypassing both the magic-byte MIME detection and the configured allow/deny lists. An authenticated user with the Content API upload permission could therefore upload file types the administrator had explicitly disallowed, including HTML and SVG content. In deployments serving uploaded files from the same origin as the admin panel (default), an attacker could upload an HTML or SVG file that, when opened directly by an admin, executed JavaScript in the admin origin, enabling admin-session hijack and authenticated administrative actions against the admin API. The patch in version 5.33.3 introduces a shared `prepareUploadRequest` helper that wraps `enforceUploadSecurity` and is called from both the Content API and admin upload controllers, ensuring identical security policy enforcement on every upload entry point. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-27859 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | dovecot, open-xchange | A mail message containing excessive amount of RFC 2231 MIME parameters causes LMTP to use too much CPU. A suitably formatted mail message causes mail delivery process to consume large amounts of CPU time. Use MTA capabilities to limit RFC 2231 MIME parameters in mail messages, or upgrade to fixed version where the processing is limited. No publicly available exploits are known. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-21762 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | hcltech, devops_loop | HCL DevOps Loop is affected by missing HTTP security headers. Missing security headers may reduce browser protections against common web-based attacks such as clickjacking, MIME-type sniffing, and cross-site scripting. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-54777 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Uncaught exception issue exists in Multiple products in bizhub series. If a malformed file is imported as an S/MIME Email certificate, it may cause a denial-of-service issue that disable the Web Connection feature. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-93635 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | LDAP filter injection in Zimbra Collaboration Suite 10.1.0 through 10.1.21 allows unauthenticated attackers to alter external LDAP search filters. On domains using search-filter authentication and lazy provisioning, this creates a password oracle for external directory users. Authenticated S/MIME lookups can also return certificates and identity data for unintended directory entries. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114398 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Trudesk through 1.2.11 contains an unrestricted file upload vulnerability that allows any authenticated user to place HTML or SVG files in the public webroot via the uploadlogo, uploadpagelogo and uploadfavicon endpoints. Attackers can spoof an image MIME type to upload script-bearing files served unauthenticated from /assets/, enabling stored cross-site scripting and replacement of instance branding. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34429 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Vvveb prior to 1.0.8.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated users with media upload and rename permissions to execute arbitrary JavaScript by bypassing MIME type validation and renaming uploaded files to executable extensions. Attackers can prepend a GIF89a header to HTML/JavaScript payloads to bypass upload validation, rename the file to .html extension, and execute malicious scripts in an administrator's browser session to create backdoor accounts and upload malicious plugins for remote code execution. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110101 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Koillection through 1.8.4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated users to upload HTML files as Datum file attachments lacking MIME restrictions. Attackers can upload HTML payloads via POST /api/data/{id}/file, served as text/html from public/uploads, executing JavaScript in victims' sessions to perform actions on their behalf. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65053 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Horde IMP's AppleDouble MIME viewer writes an attacker-controlled attachment name into an HTML status block without escaping it. In lib/Mime/Viewer/Appledouble.php, _IMPrender() obtains the name of the data part with IMP_Contents::getPartName(), which returns the MIME part's own name parameter as supplied by the message, and passes it through sprintf into the text of an IMP_Mime_Status object. IMP_Mime_Status::__toString() concatenates each text entry directly into the surrounding table markup, so the value reaches the rendered page verbatim. A message crafted as multipart/appledouble whose data part carries markup in its name parameter therefore executes script in the context of any user who views it, and the payload persists in the mailbox. Exploitation requires no account on the target system, only the ability to send mail to a user. Version 7.2.0 escapes the value with htmlspecialchars(). The researcher additionally chains this flaw with the arbitrary file read of CVE-2026-58451, and reports that script running in an administrator's session can reach an application code-execution path. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54432 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.17 and 1.7.x before 1.7.2 allows Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The issue occurs because the attachment MIME type is not properly escaped on the attachment-validation warning page. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44259 | 4.6 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | efw4.X is an Enterprise Framework for Web. Prior to 4.08.010, the previewServlet serves files with their detected MIME type based on file extension, without any content sanitization or security headers. Files with .html, .htm, or .svg extensions are served as text/html or image/svg+xml respectively, causing any embedded JavaScript to execute in the victim's browser within the application's origin. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.08.010. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-70116 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A NULL pointer dereference in GPAC MP4Box: when parsing certain truncated MP4 files, an unknown/invalid stsd entry can result in missing descriptor fields (e.g., codec/mime/profile strings). gf_media_map_esd then calls strlen() on a NULL pointer, triggering a crash (ASan SEGV). | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114717 | 4.0 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 is affected by a mail header injection vulnerability when a message is forwarded as an attachment. The subject of the forwarded message was used verbatim to generate the attachment name, so a received message whose subject contains CRLF sequences could inject arbitrary MIME part headers into the outgoing message. Upstream fixed this in the commit “Fix mail header injection via subject of a message forwarded as attachment”, which collapses whitespace in the generated name. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55876 | 3.5 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Helium is a free online student planner for classes, homework, grades, and notes. Prior to 2.2.60, the POST /planner/attachments/ endpoint allows authenticated users to upload SVG and HTML attachments because conf/configs/common.py omits those formats from BLOCKED_ATTACHMENT_EXTENSIONS and BLOCKED_ATTACHMENT_MIME_TYPES, and helium/planner/serializers/attachmentserializer.py relies on those blocklists. An uploaded SVG served as image/svg+xml can execute embedded script when a visitor opens its public attachment URL, allowing persistent attacker-controlled active content and phishing under an application-managed storage URL. The attachment storage uses a separate origin from the application, so same-origin policy prevents the script from reading application cookies or storage, and application-session compromise is not supported by the maintained deployment configuration. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.60. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47088 | 3.1 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An issue was discovered in cyrus-imapd in Cyrus IMAP through 3.12.2. There is heap exposure in nested MIME comment parsing. An authenticated IMAP user could craft an email message containing an RFC 822 comment ending with a backslash. When parsing the message, the server would read past the message's end in memory, and read into the heap, returning the read content to the user. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61448 | 2.1 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Parse Server is affected by a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions >= 9.0.0, < 9.10.0-alpha.2 and <= 8.6.83. When an uploaded file's extension is not recognized by the mime package, Parse Server preserves the client-supplied Content-Type. A malformed Content-Type that is not a valid type/subtype media type (e.g., 'image', 'image/', or 'image//svg+xml') bypasses the fileUpload.fileExtensions blocklist and is stored unchanged. On storage adapters that persist and serve the uploaded Content-Type (such as Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Blob Storage), a browser cannot parse the malformed value and falls back to MIME-sniffing; a file whose body begins with HTML is rendered as HTML, executing embedded script in the application's origin against other users who open the file URL. The default GridFS storage adapter is not affected. Fixed in 9.10.0-alpha.2 and 8.6.84. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-116273 | unscored | — | no CPE yet | MIME::Parser versions before 5.521 for Perl set no limit on the number of message parts by default, allowing memory exhaustion. The max_parts option defaulted to -1, which disables the limit, so a parser created with default settings builds an entity for every part however many a message has. Version 5.521 sets max_parts to 1000 and max_depth to 64 by default. Setting either to -1 still removes the limit. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-116272 | unscored | — | no CPE yet | MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl do not flag a duplicate boundary parameter whose name contains a nested comment. A parameter written boundary((c))="A" or boundary(\))="A" is stored under that literal name rather than as boundary. A second boundary parameter is then not reported as a duplicate, and MIME::Parser splits the message on it. Readers that skip comments as RFC 5322 allows take the first boundary instead. A remote sender can hide an attachment from a filter that relies on ambiguous_content() while the recipient's mail client shows it. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-116271 | unscored | — | no CPE yet | MIME::Parser::FileUnder versions before 5.521 for Perl reuse a pre-created output directory and follow symlinks in it, letting local users redirect attachment writes. Each message is written to a directory named msg-<time>-<pid>-<n> under the output base, and an existing directory of that name is used as is. A file name counts as unused when nothing exists at that path, which holds for a dangling symlink, and the body file is then opened in a way that follows the link. When the output base is writable by other users, as with output_under("/tmp"), a local user can pre-create the directory with a symlink named like an attachment. The parser then writes the attachment to the link target with the privileges of the parsing process. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-116270 | unscored | — | no CPE yet | MIME::Words versions before 5.521 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via repeated "=?" sequences in decode_mimewords. For each "=?" that does not start a complete encoded word, decode_mimewords appends an error message containing the whole input string to $@. A boundary of 8,000 "=?" pairs (16,000 bytes) adds 8,000 copies of itself to $@, about 128 MB. From version 5.518, MIME::Parser decodes every multipart boundary this way, so a remote sender can exhaust the memory of the parsing process with one Content-Type header. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-116269 | unscored | — | no CPE yet | MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl turn an RFC 2231 filename with a hyphenated language tag into an empty recommended filename. A parameter such as filename*=utf-8'en-US'payload.exe is converted to an encoded word with the language tag appended to the charset. The decoder strips the language suffix only when it is a single word, so it cannot resolve the charset UTF-8*EN-US and returns an empty string. The recommended_filename() method returns that empty string rather than falling back to the name parameter. Other mail readers return payload.exe. A remote sender can get an attachment past a policy that checks file extensions on the recommended filename. | Wed 28 Oct |
