CVE-2025-39923 5.5 medium 0.00% linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: qcom: bam_dma: Fix DT error handling for num-channels/ees When we don't have a clock specified in the device tree, we have no way to ensure the BAM is on. This is often the case for remotely-controlled or remotely-powered BAM instances. In this case, we need to read num-channels from the DT to have all the necessary information to complete probing. However, at the moment invalid device trees without clock and without num-channels still continue probing, because the error handling is missing return statements. The driver will then later try to read the number of channels from the registers. This is unsafe, because it relies on boot firmware and lucky timing to succeed. Unfortunately, the lack of proper error handling here has been abused for several Qualcomm SoCs upstream, causing early boot crashes in several situations [1, 2]. Avoid these early crashes by erroring out when any of the required DT properties are missing. Note that this will break some of the existing DTs upstream (mainly BAM instances related to the crypto engine). However, clearly these DTs have never been tested properly, since the error in the kernel log was just ignored. It's safer to disable the crypto engine for these broken DTBs. CVE-2025-39843 5.5 medium 0.00% linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: slub: avoid wake up kswapd in set_track_prepare set_track_prepare() can incur lock recursion. The issue is that it is called from hrtimer_start_range_ns holding the per_cpu(hrtimer_bases)[n].lock, but when enabled CONFIG_DEBUG_OBJECTS_TIMERS, may wake up kswapd in set_track_prepare, and try to hold the per_cpu(hrtimer_bases)[n].lock. Avoid deadlock caused by implicitly waking up kswapd by passing in allocation flags, which do not contain __GFP_KSWAPD_RECLAIM in the debug_objects_fill_pool() case. Inside stack depot they are processed by gfp_nested_mask(). Since ___slab_alloc() has preemption disabled, we mask out __GFP_DIRECT_RECLAIM from the flags there. CVE-2025-68236 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ufs: ufs-qcom: Fix UFS OCP issue during UFS power down (PC=3) According to UFS specifications, the power-off sequence for a UFS device includes: - Sending an SSU command with Power_Condition=3 and await a response. - Asserting RST_N low. - Turning off REF_CLK. - Turning off VCC. - Turning off VCCQ/VCCQ2. As part of ufs shutdown, after the SSU command completion, asserting hardware reset (HWRST) triggers the device firmware to wake up and execute its reset routine. This routine initializes hardware blocks and takes a few milliseconds to complete. During this time, the ICCQ draws a large current. This large ICCQ current may cause issues for the regulator which is supplying power to UFS, because the turn off request from UFS driver to the regulator framework will be immediately followed by low power mode(LPM) request by regulator framework. This is done by framework because UFS which is the only client is requesting for disable. So if the rail is still in the process of shutting down while ICCQ exceeds LPM current thresholds, and LPM mode is activated in hardware during this state, it may trigger an overcurrent protection (OCP) fault in the regulator. To prevent this, a 10ms delay is added after asserting HWRST. This allows the reset operation to complete while power rails remain active and in high-power mode. Currently there is no way for Host to query whether the reset is completed or not and hence this the delay is based on experiments with Qualcomm UFS controllers across multiple UFS vendors. 21 Oct

CVE-2026-98489 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atl1c: fix soft lockup on out-of-range tpd_cons read The hardware can report an out-of-range tpd_cons (seen as 0xffff) while the PCIe link/MAC is resetting. An out-of-range value can never be reached and the loop below would spin forever. To avoid a soft lockup treat it as "nothing new to clean" instead. Reproduced on two machines, same NIC (Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 v2.0, 4-port), triggered by rebooting a Mikrotik CCR2004 PCIe card that the ports are directly linked to: - Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS, kernel 7.0.0-31-generic. CVE-2026-89780 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: qualcomm: rmnet: restore skb->dev on deaggregated frames rmnet_map_deaggregate() allocates each sub-frame with alloc_skb() and leaves skb->dev NULL. __rmnet_map_ingress_handler() assigns skb->dev = ep->egress_dev only on the data path, but a MAP command frame is dispatched to rmnet_map_command() before that, so rmnet_map_send_ack() runs netif_tx_lock(skb->dev) on a NULL device. An unprivileged user reaches this by unsharing a user+net namespace, creating an rmnet link over a tap device with INGRESS_DEAGGREGATION and INGRESS_MAP_COMMANDS, and writing an aggregated frame carrying a flow-control command to the tap fd. Restore the assignment dropped by 378e25357ac7, so every skb leaving rmnet_map_deaggregate() has a valid device.
