| CVE-2026-34977 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | aperisolve | Aperi'Solve is an open-source steganalysis web platform. In versions 3.1.3 through 3.2.0, when uploading a JPEG, a user can specify an optional password to accompany the JPEG. This password is then directly passed into an expect command, which is then subsequently passed into a bash -c command, without any form of sanitization or validation. An unauthenticated attacker can achieve root-level RCE inside the worker container with a single HTTP request, enabling full read/write access to all user-uploaded images, analysis results, and plaintext steganography passwords stored on disk. Because the container shares a Docker network with PostgreSQL and Redis (no authentication on either), the attacker can pivot to dump the entire database or manipulate the job queue to poison results for other users. If Docker socket mounting or host volume mounts are present, this could escalate to full host compromise. This would also include defacement of the website itself. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.1. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53983 | 9.2 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Ground Station prior to 0.6.0 contains an unauthenticated blind server-side request forgery vulnerability in the orbital-source configuration path that allows any unauthenticated Socket.IO client to cause the ground-station process to issue outbound HTTP requests to attacker-chosen destinations. Attackers can connect to the Socket.IO server on port 7000 without credentials due to disabled authentication enforcement and a wildcard CORS policy, then submit a data_submission event with submit-orbital-sources action to persist an attacker-supplied URL in the database, then trigger an orbital sync via the equally unauthenticated background_task:start event. The URL is stored with no scheme allowlist, no host validation, and no rejection of loopback, RFC1918, or link-local (cloud instance metadata at 169.254.169.254) addresses, and is passed directly to requests.get in _fetch_http_3le and _fetch_http_omm in backend/tlesync/source_adapters.py. HTTP status codes and error messages from the outbound request are emitted in the orbital_sync_state Socket.IO event to all connected clients, providing a serviceable oracle for interpreting internal-service and cloud-metadata responses even though the raw response body is not directly leaked. Because the malicious source persists in the database across restarts and re-fires every 24 hours on the scheduled sync cycle, the primitive gives durable long-term SSRF without the attacker needing to remain connected. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-64551 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: validate STALE_COOKIE cause length before reading staleness When an ERROR chunk with a STALE_COOKIE cause is received in the COOKIE_ECHOED state, sctp_sf_do_5_2_6_stale() reads the 4-byte Measure of Staleness that follows the cause header: err = (struct sctp_errhdr *)(chunk->skb->data); stale = ntohl(*(__be32 *)((u8 *)err + sizeof(*err))); err is the first cause in the chunk, not the STALE_COOKIE cause that caused the dispatch, and nothing guarantees the staleness field is present. sctp_walk_errors() only requires a cause to be as long as the 4-byte header, so for a STALE_COOKIE cause of length 4 the read runs past the cause, and for a minimal ERROR chunk past skb->tail. The value is echoed to the peer in the Cookie Preservative of the reply INIT, leaking uninitialized memory. sctp_sf_cookie_echoed_err() already walks to the STALE_COOKIE cause, so check its length there and pass it to sctp_sf_do_5_2_6_stale(), which reads that cause instead of the first one. A STALE_COOKIE cause too short to hold the staleness field is discarded. The read is reachable by any peer that can drive an association into COOKIE_ECHOED, including an unprivileged process using a raw SCTP socket in a user and network namespace. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-43407 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: Fix potential out-of-bounds access in ceph_handle_auth_reply() This patch fixes an out-of-bounds access in ceph_handle_auth_reply() that can be triggered by a message of type CEPH_MSG_AUTH_REPLY. In ceph_handle_auth_reply(), the value of the payload_len field of such a message is stored in a variable of type int. A value greater than INT_MAX leads to an integer overflow and is interpreted as a negative value. This leads to decrementing the pointer address by this value and subsequently accessing it because ceph_decode_need() only checks that the memory access does not exceed the end address of the allocation. This patch fixes the issue by changing the data type of payload_len to u32. Additionally, the data type of result_msg_len is changed to u32, as it is also a variable holding a non-negative length. Also, an additional layer of sanity checks is introduced, ensuring that directly after reading it from the message, payload_len and result_msg_len are not greater than the overall segment length. | CVE-2026-90413 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/isert: reject login PDUs declaring more data than was received isert_login_recv_done() records how many bytes the HCA actually placed in the login buffer, but nothing compares that against the length the login PDU's BHS declares. isert_rx_login_req() copies min(login_req_len, MAX_KEY_VALUE_PAIRS) bytes into login->req_buf, and the login code then reads the declared length back out of that buffer - for the first PDU in iscsi_target_locate_portal(), payload_length = ntoh24(login_req->dlength); tmpbuf = kmemdup_nul(login->req_buf, payload_length, GFP_KERNEL); and for the ones after it in iscsi_decode_text_input(), reached from iscsi_target_do_login(). login->req_buf is a fixed MAX_KEY_VALUE_PAIRS (8192) byte allocation, so an initiator that declares more than it sends reads off the end of it, before authentication and with the length under its control: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in kmemdup_nul+0x43/0x80 Read of size 8193 at addr ffff8881056a8000 by task iscsi_np/167 __asan_memcpy+0x23/0x60 kmemdup_nul+0x43/0x80 iscsi_target_locate_portal+0x48d/0x1180 iscsi_target_login_thread+0x19a9/0x3350 Allocated by task 167: __kmalloc_cache_noprof+0x158/0x370 iscsi_target_login_thread+0x971/0x3350 which belongs to the cache kmalloc-8k of size 8192 allocated 8192-byte region Falsifying the second login PDU instead reaches the other reader, on the same buffer: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in kmemdup_nul+0x43/0x80 Read of size 8193 at addr ffff888104d10000 by task kworker/1:1/50 Workqueue: isert_login_wq iscsi_target_do_login_rx __asan_memcpy+0x23/0x60 kmemdup_nul+0x43/0x80 iscsi_decode_text_input+0xc6/0x11c0 iscsi_target_do_login+0x261/0x1470 iscsi_target_do_login_rx+0x51d/0x7d0 iscsit over TCP is not exposed: iscsit_get_login_rx() validates the declared length with iscsi_target_check_login_request() and then reads exactly that many bytes off the socket, so the declared length governs how much arrives rather than how much is copied out of an already-filled buffer. isert does not call iscsi_target_check_login_request() at all. Reject a login PDU whose declared DataSegmentLength exceeds what was received, in both paths that reach isert_rx_login_req(): isert_get_login_rx() for the first login PDU and isert_login_recv_done() for the ones after it. dlength <= login_req_len is allowed because the received count can include up to three bytes of iSCSI padding. Once the check is in place the copy out can no longer exceed the copy in: the posted login SGE is ISER_RX_PAYLOAD_SIZE, so login_req_len cannot exceed MAX_KEY_VALUE_PAIRS and the min() in isert_rx_login_req() is login_req_len. Like the existing short-PDU check added by 29e7b925ae6d, the reject in isert_login_recv_done() returns without completing login_req_comp, so a malformed subsequent PDU leaves the login to be torn down by the login timer rather than failing immediately. The first-PDU path returns an error and fails straight away. Reproduced on 7.2.0-rc4 with soft-RoCE (rdma_rxe) under KASAN, using an initiator that sends the real key=value payload while declaring 8193 in the BHS, on the first login PDU and on the second in separate runs. The reported read size tracks the declared value exactly; 16384 and 61440 behave the same. Unpatched 3 of 3 runs report on each of the two paths, patched 0 of 3 on both, run alternately in a single session, and a normal login still completes on the patched build. | 19 Oct |

| CVE-2026-53984 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Ground Station prior to 0.6.0 contains an unauthenticated database-destruction and arbitrary-data-injection vulnerability in the Socket.IO server's database_backup event handler that allows any unauthenticated network peer to wipe or replace the entire SQLite database by sending a single full_restore command with a caller-supplied SQL blob. Attackers can connect to the Socket.IO server on port 7000 without credentials due to disabled authentication enforcement and a wildcard CORS policy, then emit the database_backup event to drop every existing table and recreate the database from attacker-controlled CREATE TABLE and INSERT INTO statements executed via raw exec_driver_sql, permanently destroying all satellite records, orbital sources, hardware configurations, and observation schedules, or planting fabricated orbital-source URLs and observation entries that redirect the ground station to attacker-controlled servers on the next scheduled sync. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42786 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows unauthenticated remote denial of service via memory exhaustion. The fragment reassembly path in 'Elixir.Bandit.WebSocket.Connection':handle_frame/3 in lib/bandit/websocket/connection.ex appends every incoming Continuation{fin: false} frame's payload to a per-connection iolist with no cumulative size cap. The existing max_frame_size option only bounds individual frames; a peer that streams an unbounded number of continuation frames without ever setting fin=1 grows BEAM heap linearly until the OS or a supervisor kills the process. Because the accumulation happens before WebSock.handle_in/2 is called, the application has no opportunity to interpose a size check. Phoenix Channels and LiveView both run over WebSock on Bandit, so a stock Phoenix application exposes this surface as soon as it accepts socket connections. This issue affects bandit: from 0.5.0 before 1.11.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111101 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in the HTTP/1.1 chunked body reader of mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust server memory and CPU via a request body made of many 1-byte chunks. The chunked reader in lib/bandit/http1/socket.ex keeps every chunk as its own list cell and binary term until IO.iodata_to_binary/1 joins them, and nothing limits the number of chunks. The :length option of read_body/2 counts only data bytes, so tiny chunks cost far more memory than their payload: 48 MB of 1-byte chunks grew one handler process to about 500 MB and took about 6 s of CPU. The route does not need to read the body, because on keep-alive connections ensure_completed/1 drains unread bodies through the same reader. This issue affects bandit: from 0.1.0 before 1.14.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-39803 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | mtrudel, bandit | Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows unauthenticated remote denial of service via memory exhaustion. The chunked clause of 'Elixir.Bandit.HTTP1.Socket':read_data/2 in lib/bandit/http1/socket.ex ignores the caller-supplied :length option when reading HTTP/1 chunked request bodies. Instead of capping the accumulated body at the configured limit (e.g. Plug.Parsers' default 8 MB), do_read_chunked_data!/5 buffers every received chunk into an iolist unconditionally and materializes the entire body as a single binary. The function always returns {:ok, body, ...}, so callers cannot interpose a 413 response. Because Plug.Parsers runs before routing and authentication in the standard Phoenix endpoint, an unauthenticated attacker needs no valid route or credentials. Sending a single Transfer-Encoding: chunked POST request with an arbitrarily large body to any path causes the BEAM process to exhaust available memory and be terminated by the OS OOM killer. The content-length path in the same function correctly enforces the limit and is not affected. This issue affects bandit: from 1.4.0 before 1.11.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-39806 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | mtrudel, bandit | Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop') vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows unauthenticated remote denial of service via worker process exhaustion. 'Elixir.Bandit.HTTP1.Socket':do_read_chunked_data!/5 in lib/bandit/http1/socket.ex terminates only when the last-chunk line 0\r\n is followed immediately by the empty trailer line \r\n. RFC 9112 §7.1.2 permits zero or more trailer fields between them. When trailers are present, none of the match clauses fit: the catch-all arm computes a negative to_read, calls read_available!/2, receives <<>> on timeout, and tail-recurses with unchanged state. The worker process is pinned for the lifetime of the TCP connection. A handful of concurrent connections sending RFC-conformant chunked requests with trailer fields is sufficient to exhaust the Bandit worker pool and render the server unresponsive to all further traffic. No authentication, special headers, or large payload is required. Proxies such as NGINX and HAProxy legitimately forward trailer-bearing requests, so servers behind such proxies may be affected without any malicious client involvement. This issue affects bandit: from 1.6.1 before 1.11.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56811 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | phoenixframework, phoenix | Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in phoenixframework phoenix (Phoenix.Socket module) allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service against any endpoint that mounts a Phoenix socket with a reachable channel transport (WebSocket or LongPoll). This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/phoenix/socket.ex and program routine 'Elixir.Phoenix.Socket':handle_in/4. Phoenix transports do not limit the number of channels that a single transport process may join. Every phx_join message a client sends over one connection starts a persistent channel process, and the socket process accepts an unbounded number of them. A single unauthenticated client can therefore open one WebSocket or LongPoll connection and stream a large number of phx_join messages, spawning hundreds of thousands of channel processes over that one connection and eventually reaching the BEAM maximum process limit. Once the process table is exhausted the virtual machine can no longer start new processes, denying service to legitimate traffic across the whole node. Because the amplification happens inside a single connection, network-layer connection caps and rate limiting do not mitigate it. The fix adds a :max_channels_per_transport option (default 100) that bounds the number of channels a single transport process can join, forcing abusive clients to open many connections instead, where external load balancers and reverse proxies can throttle them. This issue affects phoenix: from 0.11.0 before 1.5.15, from 1.6.0-rc.0 before 1.6.17, from 1.7.0-rc.0 before 1.7.24, and from 1.8.0-rc.0 before 1.8.9. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53985 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Ground Station prior to 0.6.0 contains an unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability in the Socket.IO server's service_control event handler that allows any unauthenticated network peer to forcibly terminate the ground-station process by sending a single restart_service command. Attackers can connect to the Socket.IO server on port 7000 without credentials due to disabled authentication enforcement and a wildcard CORS policy, then emit the service_control event to terminate all active satellite-tracking sessions, SDR recording pipelines, demodulators, decoders, and rotator controllers, with repeated triggering possible in Docker deployments to create a persistent denial-of-service condition. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73040 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Dockge validates a stack name only on the write path. In backend/stack.ts the allow-list check in validate(), which requires the name to match ^[a-z0-9_-]+$, is reached from save() alone, while the path getter returns path.join(this.server.stacksDir, this.name) and Stack.getStack builds path.join(server.stacksDir, stackName) with no check. The socket handlers in backend/agent-socket-handlers/docker-socket-handler.ts confirm the caller is logged in and that the name is a string, then pass it straight to Stack.getStack, so a name containing traversal sequences resolves outside the managed stacks directory. An authenticated user can therefore read the composeENV and composeYAML values of any directory the server process can reach, which discloses the secrets in that directory's .env or Compose file, and can invoke delete(), which runs docker compose down and then fsAsync.rm on the traversed path with recursive and force set, removing that directory. Disclosure is limited to files named .env or an accepted Compose filename, and deletion requires the target directory to hold a valid Compose file so that docker compose down exits successfully. Dockge commonly runs as root with access to the Docker socket, so the reachable set includes unrelated applications on the host. Instances configured with disableAuth, a supported option that logs the caller in as admin automatically, expose both operations without authentication. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-74836 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to pin an unbounded number of HTTP/2 stream processes indefinitely via connection-level flow control. When a stream's response body outruns the HTTP/2 connection-level send window (default 65,535 bytes, shared across all streams on the connection), Bandit.HTTP2.Connection queues the remaining bytes and a reply closure in pending_sends and the stream process blocks forever inside a synchronous call to the connection process. Nothing bounds that wait and nothing purges the queue: a client RST_STREAM for the blocked stream is delivered to its mailbox but never read while it is stuck inside the call, so cancelling frees nothing, and periodic PING frames keep the transport-level read timeout from ever firing. The equivalent block on the stream-level send window is already bounded at 15 seconds; the connection-level path had no such bound. Each stalled stream pins its process, Plug state, and any resource the Plug holds across the blocked write, such as a pooled upstream connection in a reverse-proxy Plug. The attacker chooses any endpoint whose response exceeds the connection window (common for most non-trivial payloads), grants a generous stream-level window so only the connection window limits it, and keeps the connection alive with periodic PINGs; the primitive is repeatable across streams and connections at the cost of one idle socket each. This issue affects bandit: from 0.3.4 before 1.12.5. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-85443 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | themoos, core-moos | MOOS core-moos through 10.4.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability in MOOSCommServer::ListenLoop() where the accept thread performs a blocking receive without timeout during the wire-protocol handshake. An attacker can open a TCP connection to the MOOSDB port and send no data, causing the accept thread to block indefinitely while holding the socket-list lock, preventing all subsequent client connections. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47719 | 8.2 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | FUXA is a web-based Process Visualization (SCADA/HMI/Dashboard) software. Prior to 1.3.2, the DEVICE_WEBAPI_REQUEST and DEVICE_PROPERTY Socket.IO handlers in server/runtime/index.js omit isSocketWriteAuthorized and accept attacker-controlled property.address or endpoint connection data. A remote unauthenticated attacker can make server/runtime/devices/httprequest/index.js call axios.get against arbitrary HTTP or HTTPS destinations, connect to reachable OPC UA or ODBC services, and receive results through the corresponding Socket.IO event. This read SSRF oracle can expose cloud instance metadata, internal administrative services, industrial endpoints, and ODBC data reachable from the FUXA host, including when secureEnabled is true. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.2. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-89554 | 8.2 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: fix uninitialized local_id in syncookie MP_JOIN reconstruction mptcp_token_join_cookie_init_state() restores remote_nonce, local_nonce, backup, join_id, token and msk from the saved cookie entry when rebuilding the request socket for a MP_JOIN 4th-ACK handled under SYN cookies, but it does not restore local_id, even though the SYN path saved it. subflow_ulp_clone() then reads that uninitialized field and stores it as the joined subflow's address-ID. Because the request-sock slab is SLAB_TYPESAFE_BY_RCU and not zeroed on allocation, the value is the stale byte of a previously freed request socket, which an off-path peer can influence by sending concurrent MP_JOIN SYNs. This corrupts the path manager's id-based subflow bookkeeping for the connection. Restore subflow_req->local_id from the cookie entry, as done for the other fields. | 19 Oct |

| CVE-2026-42859 | 8.1 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Neat VNC is a VNC server library. Prior to 0.9.6, a pre-authentication stack buffer overflow exists in neatvnc in the RSA-AES security type handler. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the VNC listening socket can send a crafted security type 5 (RSA-AES) or security type 129 (RSA-AES-256) handshake with an oversized client RSA public key, causing rsa_aes_send_challenge in src/auth/rsa-aes.c to overflow a 1024-byte on-stack buffer when encrypting the server challenge. This results in at least a denial of service via server crash. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.6. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-40186 | 8.1 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: Don't call reqsk_fastopen_remove() in tcp_conn_request(). syzbot reported the splat below in tcp_conn_request(). [0] If a listener is close()d while a TFO socket is being processed in tcp_conn_request(), inet_csk_reqsk_queue_add() does not set reqsk->sk and calls inet_child_forget(), which calls tcp_disconnect() for the TFO socket. After the cited commit, tcp_disconnect() calls reqsk_fastopen_remove(), where reqsk_put() is called due to !reqsk->sk. Then, reqsk_fastopen_remove() in tcp_conn_request() decrements the last req->rsk_refcnt and frees reqsk, and __reqsk_free() at the drop_and_free label causes the refcount underflow for the listener and double-free of the reqsk. Let's remove reqsk_fastopen_remove() in tcp_conn_request(). Note that other callers make sure tp->fastopen_rsk is not NULL. [0]: refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. | CVE-2024-36904 | 7.8 high | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: Use refcount_inc_not_zero() in tcp_twsk_unique(). Anderson Nascimento reported a use-after-free splat in tcp_twsk_unique() with nice analysis. Since commit ec94c2696f0b ("tcp/dccp: avoid one atomic operation for timewait hashdance"), inet_twsk_hashdance() sets TIME-WAIT socket's sk_refcnt after putting it into ehash and releasing the bucket lock. Thus, there is a small race window where other threads could try to reuse the port during connect() and call sock_hold() in tcp_twsk_unique() for the TIME-WAIT socket with zero refcnt. If that happens, the refcnt taken by tcp_twsk_unique() is overwritten and sock_put() will cause underflow, triggering a real use-after-free somewhere else. To avoid the use-after-free, we need to use refcount_inc_not_zero() in tcp_twsk_unique() and give up on reusing the port if it returns false. [0]: refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free. | CVE-2026-113728 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Bulwark Webmail is a self-hosted webmail client for Stalwart Mail Server. Prior to 1.9.2, the unauthenticated POST /api/fetch-ical endpoint validates a caller-supplied hostname with one DNS lookup and then passes the URL to fetch, which performs a separate lookup for the socket connection. An attacker controlling authoritative DNS can return a public address during validation and then rebind the hostname to a loopback, private, link-local, or cloud metadata address for the connection, causing the server to return up to 10 MB of an internal HTTP or HTTPS response. The same check-then-fetch pattern also existed in authenticated JMAP login and TOTP token-exchange flows. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.2. | Tue 27 Oct |

| CVE-2026-40006 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value, Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling, Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability in Apache IoTDB. When pipe_air_gap_receiver_enabled=true, the IoTDB AirGap pipe receiver accepts raw TCP connections on port 9780 with no authentication. The readLength method reads an attacker-controlled 32-bit integer from the socket and readData passes it directly to new byte[length] with no upper-bound check. An unauthenticated attacker can cause the JVM to attempt an allocation of up to 2,147,483,647 bytes per connection, exhausting heap memory and crashing or severely degrading the DataNode process. This issue affects Apache IoTDB: from 1.0.0 before 2.0.10. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.10, which fixes the issue. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73561 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Hub is a Node.js WebSocket server and client with added features. Prior to 0.2.16, every incoming unauthenticated WebSocket connection triggers loadDefaultConnectionEventListeners to call requestClientId, which calls rpc.send for the get-client-id action and pushes a request into RPC.requests. The RPC.waitForReply function starts a setInterval polling loop every 10 milliseconds that is cleared only after a matching reply; if the client remains silent and closes, the timer and pending request stay allocated because the socket close path does not cancel them. Repeated connections therefore cause unbounded timers and heap entries, exhausting CPU and memory and making the server unavailable. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.16. | Sat 24 Oct |

When secureEnabled=true, all other sensitive Socket.IO events (DEVICE_BROWSE, HOST_INTERFACES, DEVICE_TAGS_REQUEST, etc.) call isSocketAdminAuthorized to verify the connection token, but the DAQ_QUERY handler in server/runtime/index.js lacks this check entirely. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98550 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: reject invalid and unexpected GRP_ACK_MSG to prevent bc_ackers underflow Commit 48a5fe38772b ("tipc: fix bc_ackers underflow on duplicate GRP_ACK_MSG") rejected duplicate/stale ACKs in tipc_group_proto_rcv() by returning early when less_eq(acked, m->bc_acked). However, that check remains incomplete in two ways: 1. When grp->bc_ackers is zero (e.g. on a quiet group, when replicast ACKs were not requested, or after all expected members have already acknowledged), an unexpected GRP_ACK_MSG with acked > m->bc_acked passes less_eq() and unconditionally decrements grp->bc_ackers. Because bc_ackers is a u16, this wraps to 65535, causing tipc_group_bc_cong() to permanently report congestion and blocking all future group broadcasts on the socket. 2. During an active broadcast round (grp->bc_ackers > 0), the sender transmits packet S and advances grp->bc_snd_nxt to S + 1. Receivers increment their expected counter to S + 1 upon consuming packet S, so the only valid ACK value for the current round is strictly acked == grp->bc_snd_nxt. However, tipc_group_update_bc_members() initializes each member's m->bc_acked to prev = grp->bc_snd_nxt - 1 (S - 1 before increment). This leaves a 2-sequence gap (S - 1 to S + 1) in sequence space. An incoming ACK is therefore neither rejected as duplicate nor prevented from decrementing grp->bc_ackers if an unexpected or stale value (such as S) is received. A member sending acked = S followed by acked = S + 1 could decrement grp->bc_ackers twice in the same round, prematurely clearing bc_ackers or underflowing it. Fix this by: - Dropping GRP_ACK_MSG immediately if grp->bc_ackers is zero. - Requiring acked == grp->bc_snd_nxt and rejecting duplicates where m->bc_acked == acked. Because replicast broadcast rounds are strictly sequential, only grp->bc_snd_nxt can be acknowledged, and each member can acknowledge at most once per round. Note that a related pre-existing issue in tipc_group_delete_member() (where grp->bc_ackers decrementing to zero upon member departure does not restore *grp->open or trigger a socket wakeup) will be addressed in a separate patch. | Sat 24 Oct |

| CVE-2026-68141 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/af_iucv: fix NULL deref in afiucv_hs_callback_syn() afiucv_hs_callback_syn() allocates the child socket with GFP_ATOMIC. If the allocation fails, nsk is NULL. The connection-refused path is entered when the listen state check fails, the accept backlog is full, or nsk is NULL. | CVE-2026-52974 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tls: fix strparser anchor skb leak on offload RX setup failure When tls_set_device_offload_rx() fails at tls_dev_add(), the error path calls tls_sw_free_resources_rx() to clean up the SW context that was initialized by tls_set_sw_offload(). This function calls tls_sw_release_resources_rx() (which stops the strparser via tls_strp_stop()) and tls_sw_free_ctx_rx() (which kfrees the context), but never frees the anchor skb that was allocated by alloc_skb(0) in tls_strp_init(). Note that tls_sw_free_resources_rx() is exclusively used for this "failed to start offload" code path, there's no other caller. The leak did not exist before commit 84c61fe1a75b ("tls: rx: do not use the standard strparser"), because the standard strparser doesn't try to pre-allocate an skb. The normal close path in tls_sk_proto_close() handles cleanup by calling tls_sw_strparser_done() (which calls tls_strp_done()) after dropping the socket lock, because tls_strp_done() does cancel_work_sync() and the strparser work handler takes the socket lock. | 19 Oct |

| CVE-2026-90067 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: validate banner payload length When parsing the Ceph messenger v2 protocol banner, the `payload_len` field is decoded from the banner prefix. If a client sends a banner with a `payload_len` of 0, the kernel sets up a 0-length socket read. This violates an invariant in the state machine, triggering a warning in `populate_in_iter()`: ------------[ cut here ]------------ !iov_iter_count(&con->v2.in_iter) WARNING: net/ceph/messenger_v2.c:3129 at populate_in_iter net/ceph/messenger_v2.c:3129 [inline], CPU#1: kworker/1:3/5070 WARNING: net/ceph/messenger_v2.c:3129 at ceph_con_v2_try_read+0x6634/0x6810 net/ceph/messenger_v2.c:3159, CPU#1: kworker/1:3/5070 ... Therefore, `payload_len` must be at least 16 bytes. Fix this by adding a check in `process_banner_prefix()` to reject a `payload_len` smaller than 16 bytes. This prevents the 0-length read and correctly aborts the connection with a protocol error. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102599 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Socket.IO enables bidirectional and low-latency communication for every platform. From Engine.IO 6.6.0 until 6.6.10, a transport upgrade can independently derive an Engine.IO protocol revision from the upgrade request instead of enforcing the revision stored on the existing session. A malicious client can establish a valid session and send an upgrade request with a different or omitted EIO query parameter, attaching a transport with incompatible parser and heartbeat behavior. A crafted heartbeat packet can then trigger an uncaught exception and terminate the Node.js process, including when Engine.IO v3 compatibility is disabled because an omitted EIO value is interpreted as revision 3 on the affected path. This issue is fixed in Engine.IO 6.6.10. | 17 Oct |
| CVE-2026-74282 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: prevent snt_unacked underflow on CONN_ACK tipc_sk_conn_proto_rcv() subtracts the peer-supplied connection ack count from the unsigned 16-bit send counter snt_unacked without checking that it does not exceed the number of messages actually outstanding: tsk->snt_unacked -= msg_conn_ack(hdr); msg_conn_ack() is read straight from a received CONN_MANAGER/CONN_ACK message. If the ack count is larger than snt_unacked, the subtraction wraps to a near-maximum value, leaving tsk_conn_cong() permanently true and starving the connection of further transmits. Validate the ACK count at the start of the CONN_ACK block and drop the message if it acknowledges more messages than are outstanding. A peer (or, for a local connection, the connected peer socket) can otherwise wedge a TIPC connection's send side by sending an oversized connection ack. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72418 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conncount: prevent connlimit drops for early confirmed ct Commit 69894e5b4c5e ("netfilter: nft_connlimit: update the count if add was skipped") introduced a regression where packets for valid connections are dropped when using connlimit for soft-limiting scenarios. The issue occurs when a new connection reuses a socket currently in the TIME_WAIT state. In this scenario, the connection tracking entry is evaluated as already confirmed. Previously, __nf_conncount_add() assumed that if a connection was confirmed and did not originate from the loopback interface, it should skip the addition and return -EEXIST. Skipping the addition triggers a garbage collection run that cleans up the TIME_WAIT connection. Consequently, the active connection count drops to 0, which xt_connlimit mishandles, leading to the false rejection of the perfectly valid new connection. Fix this by replacing the interface check with protocol-agnostic state checks. We now skip the tree insertion and preserve the lockless garbage collection optimization only if the connection is IPS_ASSURED. This allows early-confirmed setup packets (such as reused TIME_WAIT sockets or locally generated SYN-ACKs) to be properly evaluated and counted without falsely dropping. The goto check_connections path is maintained to ensure these setup packets are deduplicated correctly. This has been tested with slowhttptest and HTTP server configured locally to ensure we are not breaking soft-limiting scenarios for local or external connections. In addition, it was tested with a OVS zone limit too. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72242 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: avoid sk_socket dereference in selinux_sctp_bind_connect() selinux_sctp_bind_connect() dereferences sk->sk_socket to pass a struct socket * to selinux_socket_bind() and selinux_socket_connect_helper(). However, when the hook is invoked from the ASCONF softirq path (sctp_process_asconf), there is no file reference guaranteeing that sk->sk_socket is non-NULL. The setsockopt callers (bindx, connectx, set_primary, sendmsg connect) hold a file reference and are not affected. Both selinux_socket_bind() and selinux_socket_connect_helper() immediately resolve sock->sk, never using the struct socket * for anything else. Refactor the inner logic into helpers that take a struct sock * directly so that selinux_sctp_bind_connect() never needs to touch sk->sk_socket at all. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2023-54004 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udplite: Fix NULL pointer dereference in __sk_mem_raise_allocated(). syzbot reported [0] a null-ptr-deref in sk_get_rmem0() while using IPPROTO_UDPLITE (0x88): 14:25:52 executing program 1: r0 = socket$inet6(0xa, 0x80002, 0x88) We had a similar report [1] for probably sk_memory_allocated_add() in __sk_mem_raise_allocated(), and commit c915fe13cbaa ("udplite: fix NULL pointer dereference") fixed it by setting .memory_allocated for udplite_prot and udplitev6_prot. To fix the variant, we need to set either .sysctl_wmem_offset or .sysctl_rmem. Now UDP and UDPLITE share the same value for .memory_allocated, so we use the same .sysctl_wmem_offset for UDP and UDPLITE. | CVE-2026-31711 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: server: fix active_num_conn leak on transport allocation failure Commit 77ffbcac4e56 ("smb: server: fix leak of active_num_conn in ksmbd_tcp_new_connection()") addressed the kthread_run() failure path. The earlier alloc_transport() == NULL path in the same function has the same leak, is reachable pre-authentication via any TCP connect to port 445, and was empirically reproduced on UML (ARCH=um, v7.0-rc7): a small number of forced allocation failures were sufficient to put ksmbd into a state where every subsequent connection attempt was rejected for the remainder of the boot. ksmbd_kthread_fn() increments active_num_conn before calling ksmbd_tcp_new_connection() and discards the return value, so when alloc_transport() returns NULL the socket is released and -ENOMEM returned without decrementing the counter. Each such failure permanently consumes one slot from the max_connections pool; once cumulative failures reach the cap, atomic_inc_return() hits the threshold on every subsequent accept and every new connection is rejected. The counter is only reset by module reload. An unauthenticated remote attacker can drive the server toward the memory pressure that makes alloc_transport() fail by holding open connections with large RFC1002 lengths up to MAX_STREAM_PROT_LEN (0x00FFFFFF); natural transient allocation failures on a loaded host produce the same drift more slowly. Mirror the existing rollback pattern in ksmbd_kthread_fn(): on the alloc_transport() failure path, decrement active_num_conn gated on server_conf.max_connections. Repro details: with the patch reverted, forced alloc_transport() NULL returns leaked counter slots and subsequent connection attempts -- including legitimate connects issued after the forced-fail window had closed -- were all rejected with "Limit the maximum number of connections". With this patch applied, the same connect sequence produces no rejections and the counter cycles cleanly between zero and one on every accept. | 15 Oct |
