| CVE | CVSS | EPSS | Vendor, product | Description | Modified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2026-67191 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Xlight FTP Server before 3.9.5 contains a pre-authentication heap buffer overflow vulnerability that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to write past the end of a heap buffer by sending a malformed SSH client identification string. A logic error in the recv loop's termination condition uses an incorrect OR operator where an AND operator is required, enabling exploitation on any SSH or SFTP connection before authentication occurs. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-75627 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Bastillion fails to properly validate request URI paths in its controller dispatcher, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication filters by prefixing requests with arbitrary path segments. Attackers can access administrative controllers to read user listings, create manager accounts, and register managed systems, gaining control over SSH access to the managed fleet. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2025-34198 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host | Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host versions prior to 22.0.951 and Application prior to 20.0.2368 (VA and SaaS deployments) contain shared, hardcoded SSH host private keys in the appliance image. The same private host keys (RSA, ECDSA, and ED25519) are present across installations, rather than being uniquely generated per appliance. An attacker who obtains these private keys (for example from one compromised appliance image or another installation) can impersonate the appliance, decrypt or intercept SSH connections to appliances that use the same keys, and perform man-in-the-middle or impersonation attacks against administrative SSH sessions. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2024-011 — Hardcoded SSH Host Key. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2025-11534 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The affected Raisecom devices allow SSH sessions to be established without completing user authentication. This could allow attackers to gain shell access without valid credentials. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-67192 | 9.2 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Xlight FTP Server before 3.9.5 contains a pre-authentication stack buffer overflow vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to corrupt stack memory by sending malformed SSH packets when a GCM cipher is negotiated. Attackers can craft packets with an unvalidated length field passed directly to the GCM decrypt function, overwriting the stack cookie and return address to potentially achieve remote code execution before any authentication occurs. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-41880 | 9.0 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | R-SOFT DMS is vulnerable to OS Command Injection in the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) module. Multiple command execution functions accept user-controllable file paths without proper sanitization before passing them to the system shell via SSH. In current infrastructure the URL encoding neutralizes the injection during the standard web upload flow. An authenticated attacker who is able to trigger the OCR functionality for the uploaded file can execute OS commands within the context of a root user. This issue was fixed in version v3.19-2862 and v3.17-2580. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-86002 | 9.0 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Dokku is a docker-powered platform as a service. In Dokku versions before 0.38.25, a user with app-level Dokku access and remote SSH access to execute docker-options commands can store arbitrary strings through the docker-options plugin, and those strings are later concatenated into DOCKER_ARGS and processed by Bash eval during build, deploy, or run operations. Shell command substitutions in the stored values are interpreted on the host, allowing arbitrary command execution with the privileges of the dokku operating-system user. This issue is fixed in version 0.38.25. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-105429 | 8.9 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Improper neutralization of special elements in the NetBird client SSH configuration manager (client/ssh/config/manager.go) in NetBird versions 0.60.0 through 0.74.6 allows a malicious or compromised peer to execute arbitrary commands on other NetBird client hosts. The client writes a system-wide OpenSSH drop-in file (/etc/ssh/ssh_config.d/99-netbird.conf, or the equivalent under %PROGRAMDATA%\ssh\ssh_config.d on Windows) that embeds each peer FQDN or hostname inside a double-quoted Match host directive without escaping. A peer name containing a double quote breaks out of the quoted context and injects arbitrary SSH configuration directives, including exec commands, which run locally as any user on the host the next time that user runs ssh. Desktop clients on Linux, macOS, Windows and FreeBSD are affected; the Android and iOS apps are not. The issue is fixed in version 0.74.7, which accepts a peer FQDN or hostname only if it is a valid DNS name. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49255 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | electerm is an open-sourced terminal/ssh/sftp/telnet/serialport/RDP/VNC/Spice/ftp client. Prior to 3.11.11, electerm constructs operating system commands in src/app/lib/fs.js by interpolating untrusted file paths into the rmrf(), mv(), and cp() functions. A malicious SSH or SFTP server can provide a filename containing quote characters and shell metacharacters, and a victim can cause that filename to reach the affected operation during remote-to-local transfer, conflict renaming, copying, moving, or removal. The generated `rm -rf`, mv, `cp -r`, PowerShell Remove-Item, Move-Item, or Copy-Item command can then interpret the filename as shell syntax. This allows arbitrary command execution with the electerm desktop user's privileges on POSIX and Windows systems, enabling data exfiltration, file modification, malware installation, or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.11. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-27957 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.464, an authenticated command injection vulnerability in the CA Certificate management feature allows any authenticated user to execute arbitrary commands as the configured SSH user on the managed server host. As the SSH user typically would have to either be root or part of the docker group for Coolify to function as intended, this provides complete compromise of the managed server and associated docker containers. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.0-beta.464. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34152 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.471, pre-deployment and post-deployment commands are single-quote escaped but then sent through SSH heredoc transport that preserves newlines, allowing an authenticated user to inject additional shell statements that execute on the remote server during deployment. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0-beta.471. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71243 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The backmeup npm package assembles shell command strings by directly concatenating its option values (name, source, destination, filter) - e.g. cmd = "mkdir -p " + path.join(info.destination, info.name) + "; " - and executes the resulting string through a shell via ssh2-exec (locally via child_process, or remotely via SSH when an ssh handle is supplied), rather than using execFile/spawn with an argument array. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61574 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5, the Remote Access Control endpoint list returns every configured endpoint to any authenticated user regardless of which applications the user may access, and the response includes connection settings that can contain stored credentials. The endpoint listing does not apply the access controls governing the endpoints, and the connection flow does not confirm that an endpoint belongs to the Remote Access Control application through which it was launched. Any authenticated user can therefore read every endpoint together with its host and stored credentials and can open a connection to an endpoint belonging to another application. This exposes stored credentials for managed RDP, SSH, and VNC targets and grants interactive access to systems the user was never authorized to reach. Deployments that do not use the enterprise Remote Access Control provider are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112350 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Sunhillo SureLine before 9.1.5 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the radarUpdater.cgi endpoint that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files with root privileges due to missing authentication checks and insufficient sanitization of the filename parameter. Attackers can use directory traversal sequences to access sensitive files such as /etc/shadow, the web user database, the root SSH private key, and the device's TLS private key, leading to full system compromise. | 21 h ago |
| CVE-2026-110690 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Cloud Commander (cloudcmd) versions 19.20.2 through 19.21.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the GET /api/v1/pack endpoint where the onGET handler at server/rest/index.js:130 calls the unguarded root() function instead of the root.resolve() validation wrapper used elsewhere. Attackers can send percent-encoded directory traversal sequences in the pack request path to read arbitrary files outside the configured --root directory, such as /etc/passwd or SSH private keys, which are archived and streamed back as a downloadable tar.gz file. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45172 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | paloaltonetworks, idira_privileged_session_manager_for_ssh | Due to incomplete input validation in Idira Privileged Session Manager for SSH (PSMP) versions prior to 15.0.2, 14.6.3, 14.2.5, and 14.0.6, an authenticated, low-privileged user could potentially execute arbitrary commands on the PSMP host. CyberArk Security Bulletins: CA26-17 and CA26-18 | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73564 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | frp is a fast reverse proxy. From 0.53.0 until 0.70.1, frp's optional SSH Tunnel Gateway in pkg/ssh/server.go parses an SSH exec channel request by adding 4 to an attacker-controlled four-byte big-endian length. A length of 0xFFFFFFFF makes the uint32 addition wrap to 3, defeats the payload bounds check, and causes payload[4:3] to panic in TunnelServer.handleNewChannel. When no authorized-keys file is configured, sshConfig.NoClientAuth permits an unauthenticated peer to reach this channel phase before the frp token is checked, so a single five-byte request terminates the frps process and drops every active tunnel. This issue is fixed in version 0.70.1. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112305 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Semaphore UI through 2.19.16 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows users with the task_runner role to override protected Ansible variables by supplying arbitrary keys in the task environment JSON. Attackers can POST tasks setting ansible_ssh_common_args with a ProxyCommand or ansible_connection=local to execute commands as the Semaphore server user, exposing encryption keys, SSH keys and stored secrets. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-32846 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | openclaw | OpenClaw before 2026.3.28 contains a path traversal vulnerability in media parsing that allows attackers to read arbitrary files by bypassing path validation in the isLikelyLocalPath() and isValidMedia() functions. Attackers can exploit incomplete validation and the allowBareFilename bypass to reference files outside the intended application sandbox, resulting in disclosure of sensitive information including system files, environment files, and SSH keys. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-1036 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Command injection vulnerability exists in the “Logging” page of the web-based configuration utility. An authenticated user with low privileged network access for the configuration utility can execute arbitrary commands on the underlying OS to obtain root SSH access to the TropOS 4th Gen device. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-58778 | 8.6 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Multiple versions of RG-EST300 provided by Ruijie Networks provide SSH server functionality. It is not documented in the manual, and enabled in the initial configuration. Anyone with the knowledge of the related credentials can log in to the affected device, leading to information disclosure, altering the system configurations, or causing a denial of service (DoS) condition. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-94581 | 8.5 high | 1.0% | broadcom, fabric_operating_system | An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the REST API management interface of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 9.2.2d and 10.0.0 through 10.0.0a1 allows an authenticated, high-privileged remote attacker to execute arbitrary system commands with root permissions. An attacker with administrative privileges to configure SSH known host settings can supply specially crafted parameter values containing shell metacharacters to trigger command execution on the host system. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49238 | 8.4 high | 1.0% | canonical, multipass | An issue was discovered in Canonical Multipass before version 1.16.3. The host-side SFTP server component (sshfs_server), which executes with root privileges on the host, contains a path containment bypass vulnerability within its validate_path function in src/sshfs_mount/sftp_server.cpp. The function performs a plain string prefix comparison on requested paths without path separator validation or dot-dot (..) normalization. A local attacker with root privileges inside a guest virtual machine can bypass the FUSE layer by injecting raw SFTP frames (such as an SSH_FXP_OPEN request) directly into the sshfs_server process stdin/stdout pipes via procfs. By supplying a path containing directory traversal sequences that match the allowed mount prefix, the attacker can force the host-side root process to resolve the traversal and open files outside the designated mount boundary. This allows a guest-side user to read arbitrary files on the host filesystem, resulting in a virtual machine escape. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-15661 | 8.3 high | 1.0% | libssh2 | libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit 2dae302, contains an out-of-bounds heap read vulnerability in the sftp_symlink() function in src/sftp.c that allows a malicious SSH server or man-in-the-middle attacker to disclose heap memory contents or cause a crash by sending a crafted SSH_FXP_NAME response. Attackers can supply a link_len value larger than the actual packet data in SSH_FXP_NAME responses for SFTP READLINK and REALPATH operations, triggering a heap buffer over-read of up to target_len minus one bytes due to the missing validation of available packet buffer size before the memcpy operation. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45309 | 8.2 high | 1.0% | asyncssh_project, asyncssh | AsyncSSH is a Python package which provides an asynchronous client and server implementation of the SSHv2 protocol on top of the Python asyncio framework. Prior to 2.23.0, AsyncSSH expands the OpenSSH-compatible AuthorizedKeysFile %u token in asyncssh/config.py, asyncssh/connection.py, asyncssh/auth_keys.py, and asyncssh/misc.py with the raw SSH username during pre-authentication server config reload, allowing a server configured with AuthorizedKeysFile authorized_keys/%u to read an authorized-keys file outside the intended directory when the SSH username contains /, \, or .. path traversal segments and authenticate with an attacker-selected key file. This issue is fixed in version 2.23.0. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-58065 | 8.1 high | 1.0% | apache, apache-airflow-providers-git | The Apache Airflow Git provider runs its git-over-SSH operations with `StrictHostKeyChecking=no` by default, disabling SSH host-key verification. An attacker who can intercept the network path between an Airflow worker and the Git server can impersonate the server (man-in-the-middle), capturing the SSH deploy key or injecting malicious repository content. Deployments that use the Git DAG bundle or Git provider to clone over SSH with a deploy key are affected. The fix changes the default to verify host keys; upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-git `0.4.1` or later and configure a `known_hosts` file. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34783 | 8.1 high | 1.0% | montferret, ferret | Ferret is a declarative system for working with web data. Prior to 2.0.0-alpha.4, a path traversal vulnerability in Ferret's IO::FS::WRITE standard library function allows a malicious website to write arbitrary files to the filesystem of the machine running Ferret. When an operator scrapes a website that returns filenames containing ../ sequences, and uses those filenames to construct output paths (a standard scraping pattern), the attacker controls both the destination path and the file content. This can lead to remote code execution via cron jobs, SSH authorized_keys, shell profiles, or web shells. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-alpha.4. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2025-34207 | 7.9 high | 1.0% | vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host | Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host prior to 22.0.1049 and Application prior to 20.0.2786 (VA and SaaS deployments) configure the SSH client within Docker instances with the following options: `UserKnownHostsFile=/dev/null`, `StrictHostKeyChecking=no`, and `ForwardAgent yes`. These settings disable verification of the remote host’s SSH key and automatically forward the developer’s SSH‑agent to any host that matches the configured wildcard patterns. As a result, an attacker who can reach a single compromised container can cause the container to connect to a malicious SSH server, capture the forwarded private keys, and use those keys for unrestricted lateral movement across the environment. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2024-027 — Insecure Secure Shell (SSH) Configuration. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44017 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | docling | Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. Prior to 2.91.0, the EasyOCR model download functionality extracted ZIP archives without validating member paths, enabling Zip Slip attacks. If an attacker could compromise the model download source (via supply chain attack, DNS spoofing, or MITM), they could write arbitrary files to any location writable by the process, potentially achieving remote code execution by overwriting Python files or system binaries, persistent backdoors by modifying startup scripts or SSH keys, and data corruption or system compromise. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.91.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49987 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | yamadashy, repomix | Repomix is a tool that packs repositories into AI-friendly files. Prior to 1.14.1, src/core/git/gitCommand.ts execGitShallowClone passes the --remote-branch value directly to git fetch and git checkout without validation or --end-of-options, allowing --upload-pack or other Git option injection that bypasses validateGitUrl() dangerous parameter checks and can execute commands through local or SSH-style transports. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.1. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61891 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | eclipse, theia | In Eclipse Theia versions up to and including 1.73.1, the `@theia/filesystem` backend exposes HTTP file-download endpoints (`GET /file`, `GET /files/`, `PUT /files/`) that convert a client-supplied URI directly to a filesystem path and stream the file, without confining it to the workspace or any allow-listed root. In browser (non-Electron) deployments the connection token is enforced only on WebSocket upgrades; the HTTP middleware in `@theia/core` re-issues the cookie and calls `next()` without rejecting tokenless HTTP requests, so these endpoints are reachable without a valid token. As a result an unauthenticated client can read any file readable by the backend process, including files outside the opened workspace (for example `/etc/hosts`, SSH keys, or tokens). Electron mode uses a separate `ElectronSecurityToken` and is not affected via this path. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56452 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | apache, mina_sshd | Path traversal in the sshd-scp component of Apache MINA SSHD. Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH. The implementation of receiving files or directories via SCP did not validate filenames in SCP "C" or "D" commands. A malicious sender could send filenames containing paths, resulting in files to be written in attacker-controlled places. The issue affects only * applications that use no longer supported Apache MINA SSHD versions < 2.0.0 and use the SCP functions to receive files, * or applications using sshd-scp in Apache MINA SSHD >= 2.0.0 to receive files. Applications using Apache MINA SSHD >= 2.0.0 not using sshd-scp are not affected. The issue is fixed in Apache MINA 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M5. Affected applications are advised to upgrade to these versions. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-6985 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The HTMLSectionSplitter class in langchain-text-splitters version 0.3.8 is vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) attacks due to unsafe XSLT parsing. This vulnerability arises because the class allows the use of arbitrary XSLT stylesheets, which are parsed using lxml.etree.parse() and lxml.etree.XSLT() without any hardening measures. In lxml versions up to 4.9.x, external entities are resolved by default, allowing attackers to read arbitrary local files or perform outbound HTTP(S) fetches. In lxml versions 5.0 and above, while entity expansion is disabled, the XSLT document() function can still read any URI unless XSLTAccessControl is applied. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to gain read-only access to any file the LangChain process can reach, including sensitive files such as SSH keys, environment files, source code, or cloud metadata. No authentication, special privileges, or user interaction are required, and the issue is exploitable in default deployments that enable custom XSLT. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-47913 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | go, ssh | SSH clients receiving SSH_AGENT_SUCCESS when expecting a typed response will panic and cause early termination of the client process. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-7039 | 7.1 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | A security vulnerability has been detected in tufantunc ssh-mcp up to 1.5.0. The affected element is the function shell.write of the file src/index.ts. Such manipulation of the argument Description leads to command injection. The attack must be carried out locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-14904 | 7.1 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | AWS Research and Engineering Studio (RES) is an open-source solution that enables researchers and engineers to create and manage secure virtual desktops and computing resources on AWS. Improper link resolution before file access issue (CWE-59) in the Auth.GetUserPrivateKey API. An authenticated remote user could read arbitrary files on the cluster-manager EC2 instance by replacing their SSH private key file (~/.ssh/id_rsa) with a symbolic link targeting any file on the host. Because the cluster-manager process runs as root, any file readable by root is exposed, including other users' SSH private keys and application configuration secrets. It's recommended to upgrade to RES version 2026.06. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56623 | 7.1 high | 1.0% | apache, mina_sshd | Path traversal on Windows in Apache MINA SSHD component sshd-git. Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH. A git server implemented with Apache MINA SSHD component sshd-git and running on Windows could allow an authenticated remote user access to git repositories outside of the configured server-side root directory. The path validation applied for CVE-2026-48827 in Apache MINA SSHD 2.18.0 and 3.0.0-M4 was partly ineffective for Servers running on Windows. Applications are affected if they use org.apache.sshd:sshd-git to implement a git server and run on Windows. Applications not using sshd-git or not running on Windows are not affected. Users are advised to upgrade affected applications to Apache MINA SSHD 2.19.0, which fixes the issue. The issue also is present in the pre-release milestones 3.0.0-M1 to 3.0.0-M4 for a new upcoming new major version 3.0.0. Again, applications are affected only if they use sshd-git and run on Windows. Upgrade affected applications to 3.0.0-M5. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65607 | 7.1 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | SiYuan before v3.7.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the /export/temp/ short-circuit branch of the serveExport handler (kernel/server/serve.go). Unlike the main export branch, this branch joins the raw, percent-decoded request path with util.TempDir and serves the file without the IsSubPath or IsSensitivePath checks added in the earlier export-disclosure hardening (GHSA-6865-qjcf-286f). An authenticated attacker can send percent-encoded traversal sequences (e.g. /export/temp/%2e%2e/.../etc/passwd, where %2e%2e is decoded to '..') to read arbitrary files outside TempDir, including /etc/passwd, SSH keys (~/.ssh/*), and SiYuan workspace *.db and *.log files, bypassing the sensitive-file protection. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62501 | 7.0 high | 1.0% | tp-link, archer_ax53_firmware | SSH Hostkey misconfiguration vulnerability in Archer AX53 and Archer BE3600 (tmpserver modules) allows attackers to obtain device credentials through a specially crafted man‑in‑the‑middle (MITM) attack. This could enable unauthorized access if captured credentials are reused. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55653 | 6.5 medium | 1.0% | openbsd, redhat, openssh, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform | A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A malicious SSH server can exploit a double free vulnerability in the Diffie-Hellman Group Exchange (DH-GEX) client path. This occurs during FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) mode known-group validation when the client processes attacker-controlled DH-GEX group parameters. Successful exploitation leads to client-side process termination, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-9996 | 5.8 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability exists that could cause the execution of any shell command when executing a netstat command using BLMon Console in an SSH session. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2023-27538 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | haxx, fedoraproject, libcurl, fedora, debian_linux | An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in libcurl prior to v8.0.0 where it reuses a previously established SSH connection despite the fact that an SSH option was modified, which should have prevented reuse. libcurl maintains a pool of previously used connections to reuse them for subsequent transfers if the configurations match. However, two SSH settings were omitted from the configuration check, allowing them to match easily, potentially leading to the reuse of an inappropriate connection. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-58624 | 5.4 medium | 1.0% | apache, mina_sshd | Improper input validation in sshd-git in Apache MINA SSHD. Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH. Component org.apache.sshd:sshd-git provides though its GitPgmCommandFactory a way to configure an Apache MINA SSHD server such that SSH clients can remotely execute git commands via the JGit library on git repositories stored on the server. This GitPgmCommandFactory allowed a user authenticated via SSH to run any JGit command available, including commands that could write files at arbitrary places such as git archive with the --output option. Affected are SSH servers implemented with Apache MINA SSHD and using the GitPgmCommandFactory. If the GitPgmCommandFactory is not configured on the server, the server is not affected. It is recommended to upgrade affected servers to Apache MINA SSHD 2.19.0 or 3.0.0-M5, which fix this issue. The issue is fixed by restricting the available commands to a small whitelist of uncritical commands (such as git log). git archive is also allowed, but its --output argument is ignored and the archive is always sent through the SSH channel to the client. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73429 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Russh is a Rust SSH client & server library. Prior to 0.62.4, a malicious SSH server can crash a russh client session with a malformed KEX_ECDH_REPLY containing a server ephemeral value that is not 32 bytes long. The client-side Curve25519Kex::compute_shared_secret function in russh/src/kex/curve25519.rs passes the decoded exchange.server_ephemeral value to clone_from_slice without validating its length, causing a deterministic panic before the server host key is verified. The panic terminates the spawned client session task and surfaces as a JoinError, while the embedding process normally remains running. This issue is fixed in version 0.62.4. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73430 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Russh is a Rust SSH client & server library. Prior to 0.62.4, an unauthenticated SSH client can cause a denial of service by sending SSH_MSG_KEX_ECDH_INIT with a 32-byte all-zero Q_C value. Curve25519Kex::server_dh in russh/src/kex/curve25519.rs accepts the all-zero peer public value and computes an all-zero shared secret, after which compute_exchange_hash calls encode_mpint in russh/src/kex/mod.rs and indexes beyond the end of the input while skipping leading zero bytes. The resulting panic occurs before authentication and terminates the server key-exchange task. This issue is fixed in version 0.62.4. | Sat 24 Oct |
