| CVE-2026-115845 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An incomplete list of disallowed inputs in the Python code validator of the run_script tool in AWS MCP Server might allow an authenticated remote user to execute arbitrary code within their own isolated session environment via a crafted script. AWS fixed this issue service-side. No customer action is required. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114603 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | OpenTelemetry Python provides the Python API and SDK for OpenTelemetry. Prior to 1.45.1, the opentelemetry-api function TraceState.from_header in opentelemetry/trace/span.py, reached through TraceContextTextMapPropagator.extract, parses inbound W3C tracestate headers with an unbounded optional-whitespace regular expression. A malformed header containing a long run of spaces or tabs without a following comma causes quadratic backtracking before the member-count limit is applied. Services using the default W3C Trace Context propagator can therefore spend excessive CPU time on one unauthenticated request when the HTTP server, parser, gateway, or custom carrier accepts a sufficiently large header. The processing can occupy a synchronous worker or delay unrelated requests on the same asynchronous event loop. The impact is limited to availability and does not expose or modify telemetry data or allow code execution. This issue is fixed in version 1.45.1. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112914 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | tox-dev, filelock | filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can restore a stale marker by name after moving it aside, allowing another local user with rename access in a non-sticky lock directory to swap in a symbolic link and, on a runtime that follows the link and a same-filesystem target, make the lock user hard-link one of its files into the lock directory. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2025-68480 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Marshmallow is a lightweight library for converting complex objects to and from simple Python datatypes. In versions from 3.0.0rc1 to before 3.26.2 and from 4.0.0 to before 4.1.2, Schema.load(data, many=True) is vulnerable to denial of service attacks. A moderately sized request can consume a disproportionate amount of CPU time. This issue has been patched in version 3.26.2 and 4.1.2. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110593 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | BottleCRM through 1.14.5 contains a server-side template injection vulnerability in the send_email Celery task, which compiles the user-supplied AccountEmail message_body with django.template.Template(). Authenticated organization members can submit template tags through POST /api/accounts/<id>/create_mail/ to disclose the rendering context and loaded Python modules, or block the shared Celery worker with nested loops. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2025-67485 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | machphy, mad-proxy | mad-proxy is a Python-based HTTP/HTTPS proxy server for detection and blocking of malicious web activity using custom security policies. Versions 0.3 and below allow attackers to bypass HTTP/HTTPS traffic interception rules, potentially exposing sensitive traffic. This issue does not have a fix at the time of publication. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-75597 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python. Prior to 0.5.0b3.dev101, the `/web/<path:filename>` route in `src/pyload/webui/app/blueprints/app_blueprint.py` renders Jinja2 templates without any authentication requirement. Every equivalent direct route (`/logs`, `/settings`, `/queue`, `/dashboard`, etc.) is protected by `@login_required`, but the underlying templates for all of these pages are accessible unauthenticated via this endpoint. Combined with an exception attribute typo in `src/pyload/webui/app/handlers.py` (`exc.desc` instead of `exc.description`), internal Jinja2 variable names are leaked in HTTP 500 response bodies to unauthenticated callers. An attacker can also enumerate all valid template names by observing 200 vs 500 response differentiation. Version 0.5.0b3.dev101 contains a patch. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49460 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | pypdf_project, pypdf | pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.12.2, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to long runtimes. This requires accessing a stream which uses the /FlateDecode filter with a PNG predictor. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.12.2. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48156 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | pypdf_project, pypdf | pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.12.0, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to long runtimes. This requires cross-reference streams with /W [0 0 0] values and large /Size values. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.12.0. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71283 | 4.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Fledge's backup-restore upload handler, upload_backup (python/fledge/services/core/api/backup_restore.py), calls tarfile.extractall(temp_path) on an admin-uploaded tar archive with no filter argument and no per-member path validation. Requires the admin role (@has_permission("admin")). | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118767 | 4.8 medium | 0.00% | randombit, botan | Botan is a C++ cryptography library. From 1.11.22 until 3.13.0, Botan's Python binding converted Python strings containing U+0000 to const char* values without consistently rejecting the embedded NUL, causing bcrypt and check_bcrypt to process only the prefix before the NUL. Applications could validate a longer password but hash a shorter effective value, allowing application password-policy bypass; scrypt and argon2 are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 3.13.0. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71852 | 4.8 medium | 0.00% | pypdf_project, pypdf | pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.15.0, a crafted PDF can cause long runtimes and large memory consumption when pypdf/_font.py function Font._collect_cid_character_widths expands unusually large CID font /W width ranges or excessive width entries during text extraction. This issue is fixed in 6.15.0. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71870 | 4.8 medium | 0.00% | pypdf_project, pypdf | pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.15.0, a crafted PDF can cause large memory consumption when pypdf/_cmap.py function parse_bfrange parses unusually large source-code or destination-string tokens in a font /ToUnicode CMap during text extraction. This issue is fixed in 6.15.0. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48155 | 4.8 medium | 0.00% | pypdf_project, pypdf | pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.12.0, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to large memory usage. This requires extracting text in layout mode with large character offsets. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.12.0. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112935 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | tox-dev, filelock | filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.22.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can break a stale marker after an attacker frees its own marker following the stale read, an honest contender creates a live successor on the reused inode, and the successor's modification time is not newer than the saved observation, causing the live marker to be removed and two holders to be admitted. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112906 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | tox-dev, filelock | filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock versions from 4.1.0 can reuse a stale observation when an attacker pre-dates and removes its own marker, at least two lock-user processes are waiting, coarse or matching modification times preserve the observation, and an honest contender creates a fresh marker on the reused inode, causing that live marker to be removed as stale. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44661 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | python-utcp is the python implementation of UTCP. Prior to 1.1.3, the utcp-http plugin is vulnerable to a blind Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) caused by a trust-boundary inconsistency between manual discovery and tool invocation. register_manual() validates the discovery URL against an HTTPS / loopback allowlist, but call_tool() and call_tool_streaming() reuse the resolved tool_call_template.url directly without revalidating, and the OpenAPI converter blindly trusts whatever servers[0].url an attacker-hosted spec declares. An attacker who hosts a malicious OpenAPI spec on a legitimate HTTPS endpoint can declare e.g. servers: [{ url: "http://127.0.0.1:9090" }] or servers: [{ url: "http://169.254.169.254" }]; the OpenAPI converter then produces tools whose URL points at internal services on the agent host. All three HTTP-class protocols (utcp_http.http, utcp_http.streamable_http, utcp_http.sse) shared the same gap. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.1.3. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112939 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | tox-dev, filelock | filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.22.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can trust a forged process identifier in a marker that an attacker can modify but cannot remove, allowing an authorized contender such as another process of the holder's account or root to act as a confused deputy, remove the live marker, and admit another holder. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114619 | 4.6 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to 1.9.0, OpenIDImplicitGrant.validate_authorization_request() checks the client-controlled raw request.payload.scope for openid after the parent grant has filtered allowed scopes into request.scope. A registered client permitted an ID token response type but not the openid scope can add openid to the request, obtain user consent, and receive a signed ID token containing the user's subject and allowed profile claims. Authorization code flow and deployments that allow openid for every client permitted an ID token response are not affected. In authlib/oidc/core/grants/implicit.py, OpenIDImplicitGrant.validate_authorization_request() checks request.payload.scope instead of the filtered request.scope. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113721 | 4.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, ViaTemplateActivator._generate() removes an existing output only when Path.exists() is true, allowing a dangling symlink to survive and redirect generated activation content, while PyEnvCfg.write() opens pyvenv.cfg without first replacing an existing symbolic or hard link. Another local account that prepares final entries inside the destination can therefore cause environment creation to create or overwrite files outside the requested tree with constrained virtualenv-generated content and the invoking user's permissions. The destination parent must remain controlled by the environment owner during creation; concurrent parent-directory replacement is a separate concern. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113724 | 4.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, the safe_delete() deletion error handler responds to a failed removal by reading mode bits with os.lstat(path) and applying owner-write permission with os.chmod(path, ...), which follows a symlink. A planted link inside a read-only directory can therefore cause a victim-owned target outside the destination that is initially not writable by the invoking user to become broadly writable before the retry fails, provided that user owns the target and can change its mode. Another account can use the widened mode only if it can traverse the target's parent directories; root does not reach the demonstrated failure path, and the operation does not itself read the target. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113719 | 4.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, PipInstall._uninstall_previous_version() accepts existing seed-package metadata and _uninstall_dist() joins entries from top_level.txt and RECORD to site-packages without checking containment. When a reused destination contains distribution metadata influenced by another account, relative traversal, absolute entries, or linked parents can cause app-data reseeding to delete files outside the environment or the environment root with the invoking user's permissions, provided that user has deletion rights over the named paths. The deletion occurs during environment creation before any later use of the environment. Fresh environments without existing package metadata and creation with --clear do not enter this cleanup path. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55798 | 4.5 medium | 0.00% | python, pillow | Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 12.3.0, WindowsViewer.get_command() constructed a cmd.exe shell command by directly embedding a file path into an f-string without escaping and passed the result to subprocess.Popen(..., shell=True), allowing shell metacharacters in the file path to inject arbitrary cmd.exe commands. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113716 | 4.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, the builtin creator calls ensure_dir() for executable, library, and package directories, and ensure_dir() accepts an existing symlink to a directory because exists() follows it. Interpreter creation, seed installation, and activation generation then write through the linked parent outside the requested destination when another local account prepared the tree and the invoking user can access the target. The --clear option removes the planted tree first, while ordinary creation reaches it; arbitrary attacker-selected output bytes are not established. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113713 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. From 21.14.8 until 21.14.10, the app-data seeder can leave an environment linked to temporary package files that virtualenv deletes when creation finishes. The environment-variable and configuration-file forms of symlink_app_data can enable this state even though the command-line flag is disabled for temporary app-data. The resulting environment depends on a cache pathname that its owner no longer controls. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.10. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113720 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, the app-data copy seeder uses shutil.copy() to copy cached package files into later environments, causing cached source modes to override the current run's umask. A cache populated under a permissive umask can therefore produce files writable by another local account in a later traversable environment, allowing package code such as pip/__init__.py to be modified and executed by the environment owner. The attacker cannot force the earlier umask, and a private destination parent prevents access. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-20032 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability in the Python interpreter of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker with low privileges to escape the Python sandbox and gain unauthorized access to the underlying operating system of an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by manipulating specific functions within the Python interpreter. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to escape the Python sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with the privileges of the authenticated user. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118667 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | LangGraph Python SDK is used to connect to running LangGraph API servers, manage assistants, threads and stream runs from Python applications. From langgraph-sdk 0.4.0 until 0.4.6, and from langgraph 1.2.3 until 1.2.14 when RemoteGraph v3 streaming uses an affected langgraph-sdk version, the synchronous and asynchronous v3 stream get_tree and _fetch_state helpers interpolate caller-controlled assistant_id and thread_id values into authenticated GET request paths without using _quote_path_param. Relative path segments can therefore be normalized into another readable path on the configured server while retaining authentication headers. This issue is fixed in langgraph-sdk 0.4.6 and langgraph 1.2.14. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59930 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | mistune_project, mistune | Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.3.0, the toc plugin and TableOfContents directive generate heading IDs as predictable toc_N values without slugifying the heading text, allowing attacker-controlled id="toc_N" content to collide with generated anchors and redirect same-page navigation, CSS selectors, or JavaScript handlers. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55664 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Grist is spreadsheet software using Python as its formula language. Prior to 1.7.15, the GET /forms endpoint read table and column metadata without applying the document's access rules and did not check that the requested section was actually a form. A user with only partial read access, including public access on a publicly viewable document, could request the metadata of any widget and reveal table and column structure that access rules would otherwise hide, even in documents that contain no forms. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.15. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46338 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | facelessuser, pymdown_extensions | PyMdown Extensions is a set of extensions for the Python-Markdown markdown project. From 10.0.1 until 10.21.3, pymdownx.snippets uses a string-prefix containment check in SnippetPreprocessor.get_snippet_path() in pymdownx/snippets.py when `restrict_base_path: True`, allowing markdown snippet directives to read files from sibling paths that share the same base_path prefix, such as docs and docs_internal. This is a regression of CVE-2023-32309. This issue is fixed in version 10.21.3. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48522 | 4.2 medium | 0.00% | pyjwt_project, pyjwt | PyJWT is a JSON Web Token implementation in Python. Prior to 2.13.0, PyJWKClient passes its uri argument directly to urllib.request.urlopen() which uses Python stdlib's default OpenerDirector registering HTTPHandler, HTTPSHandler, FTPHandler, FileHandler, and DataHandler. There is currently no documented option to restrict which schemes PyJWKClient will fetch. If an application's jku URL ingestion path accepts attacker-influenced URLs (e.g., from JWT header, configuration file, OAuth flow parameter), the attacker can cause PyJWKClient to read arbitrary local files via file:// (SSRF on local filesystem), cause PyJWKClient to attempt FTP / data-URI fetches (broader SSRF surface), or forge tokens that PyJWT verifies as valid. The library does not directly return non-HTTP(S) URI contents to the attacker; the chained "plant a JWKS to forge tokens" scenario described in the original report requires additional application-layer flaws (attacker write access to a filesystem path, untrusted jku derivation) that this fix does not address. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114617 | 4.2 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to 1.9.0, OpenIDMixin.parse_id_token() reads the nonce_supported decision from the untrusted ID token being validated and sets the expected nonce to null when that claim is the JSON boolean false. In implicit and hybrid relying parties, or applications that directly accept externally supplied ID tokens, an attacker with a captured validly signed token can bypass the nonce-to-session binding and replay the victim's token into an attacker-controlled session. Plain authorization code flow is not affected, and the token must still pass signature, issuer, and audience validation. OpenIDMixin.parse_id_token() trusts nonce_supported in both authlib/integrations/base_client/sync_openid.py and authlib/integrations/base_client/async_openid.py to disable the expected nonce. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-0864 | 4.1 medium | 0.00% | python | When using the "configparser" module to write configuration files containing multi-line text values with carriage return characters (\r) the resulting file could be injected with unexpected keys and values if the attacker controls the written value. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42874 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Microdot is a minimalistic Python web framework. Prior to 2.6.1, the Response.set_cookie() method does not sanitize its string arguments, and in particular will not detect the presence of the \r\n sequence in them. This can be a potential source of header injection attacks. For a header injection attack through this issue to be possible, an attacker must first infiltrate the client (for example through an independent XSS attack), so that it can send malicious information that is destined to be stored in a cookie by the server on behalf of the victim. An attacker that infiltrates one client can only orchestrate a header injection attack for that client, all other clients that were not infiltrated are safe. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48524 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | pyjwt_project, pyjwt | PyJWT is a JSON Web Token implementation in Python. Prior to 2.13.0, PyJWKClient.get_signing_key() forces a fresh HTTP request to the JWKS endpoint for every JWT with an unknown kid value, with no rate limiting. Since kid comes from the unverified token header, an attacker can trigger unlimited outbound requests. The vulnerability surfaces only when a JWKS fetch fails; an attacker can attempt to provoke that with sustained unknown-kid traffic, but the outcome depends on upstream JWKS-endpoint behavior (rate limiting, transient errors) which is beyond the attacker's control. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53538 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | fastapiexpert, python-multipart | Python-Multipart is a streaming multipart parser for Python. Prior to 0.0.30, QuerystringParser treated ; as a field separator in application/x-www-form-urlencoded bodies, in addition to &. The WHATWG URL standard, modern browsers, and Python's urllib.parse (since the CVE-2021-23336 fix) treat only & as a separator. This creates a parser differential: the same bytes are tokenized into different fields than a WHATWG compliant intermediary would produce, allowing an attacker to smuggle extra form fields past an upstream body inspecting component. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.0.30. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53540 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | fastapiexpert, python-multipart | Python-Multipart is a streaming multipart parser for Python. Prior to 0.0.31, parse_form() did not validate the Content-Length header before using it to bound its chunked read of the request body. A negative Content-Length turned the bounded read into a read-until-EOF, so the entire body was loaded into memory in a single read instead of in fixed-size chunks. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.0.31. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55403 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | datamodel-code-generator generates Python data models from schema definitions. Prior to 0.63.0, src/datamodel_code_generator/http.py get_body reuses Authorization, Cookie, and Proxy-Authorization headers when following cross-origin redirects while fetching remote schemas, allowing credentials scoped to one schema host to be leaked to another redirect target. This issue is fixed in version 0.63.0. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-12372 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | nltk | A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in nltk/nltk versions 3.9.4 and the current develop branch. The `nltk.pathsec.validate_network_url()` function, intended to prevent SSRF by rejecting internal network addresses, fails to reject IPs in the RFC 6598 shared address space (`100.64.0.0/10`). This occurs because Python's `ipaddress` module does not classify such addresses as `is_private` or `is_global`, and the current guard only checks `is_private` and a few explicit categories. An attacker who can influence a URL passed to NLTK's network-loading helpers can exploit this vulnerability to make a strict-mode application send requests to shared-address-space hosts, potentially exposing non-public infrastructure reachable from the application host. The impact is limited to SSRF-style confidentiality exposure, with no code execution claimed. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107288 | 3.7 low | 0.00% | pydantic, pydantic_ai | Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 1.77.0 until 1.107.6 and 2.44.0, the local web_fetch_tool and the WebFetch local fallback compare blocked_domains entries with a URL hostname before both values are normalized to the form used by getaddrinfo. An attacker-influenced model can use an equivalent IDNA spelling, non-ASCII label separator, case variation, or trailing root label that resolves to a blocked host but does not match the configured string, causing the application to fetch that host with its own privileges. allowed_domains fails closed for unmatched spellings, and private-IP and cloud-metadata protections remain effective. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.6 and 2.44.0. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2025-66040 | 3.6 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Spotipy is a Python library for the Spotify Web API. Prior to version 2.25.2, there is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the OAuth callback server that allows for JavaScript injection through the unsanitized error parameter. Attackers can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the user's browser during OAuth authentication. This issue has been patched in version 2.25.2. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113731 | 3.3 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. From 0.9.0 until 1.0.10, 1.1.7, 1.2.4, and 1.3.0rc8, the find_handlers_for_template MCP tool in python/djust/mcp/server.py accepts an existing absolute template_path and reads it without restricting the resolved path to the project or configured template directories. A local MCP client can use the tool as a file existence and readability oracle and can obtain substrings that match the tool's dj-click, dj-submit, dj-change, dj-input, dj-keydown, or dj-keyup attribute pattern from files readable by the djust process. The maintainer assessment states that the MCP server communicates over local stdio as the same operating-system user and has no network listener, and the tool does not return arbitrary raw file contents. This issue is fixed in versions 1.0.10, 1.1.7, 1.2.4, and 1.3.0rc8. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112941 | 3.3 low | 0.00% | tox-dev, filelock | filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftReadWriteLock and AsyncSoftReadWriteLock cache a successful check of the <path>.rw lock tree and resolve its names again during later record operations, allowing another local user who can replace that tree after the first acquisition to redirect lock-record writes into directories writable by the lock user. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-83813 | 3.1 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. Prior to 26.10.0rc1, twisted.names.dns.DNSDatagramProtocol accepts a UDP DNS response for a pending query when its 16-bit transaction ID matches but does not verify that the response came from the queried host and port. An attacker able to deliver a packet to the resolver's listening port with the correct transaction ID can inject a forged answer. The standard twisted.names.client.Resolver uses a new random source port for each query, increasing off-path attack complexity, while applications that reuse a DNSDatagramProtocol instance expose only the transaction-ID search space after the first query. A successful forgery can redirect hostname resolution and enable mail interception, server-side request forgery, or man-in-the-middle positioning. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.0rc1. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-39419 | 3.1 low | 0.00% | maxkb | MaxKB is an open-source AI assistant for enterprise. In versions 2.7.1 and below, an authenticated user can bypass sandbox result validation and spoof tool execution results by exploiting Python frame introspection to read the wrapper's UUID from its bytecode constants, then writing a forged result directly to file descriptor 1 (bypassing stdout redirection). By calling sys.exit(0), the attacker terminates the wrapper before it prints the legitimate output, causing the MaxKB service to parse and trust the spoofed response as the genuine tool result. This issue has been fixed in version 2.8.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62379 | 3.1 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Reflex is a library to build full-stack web apps in pure Python. In versions 0.5.4 through 0.8.14, the /auth-codespace endpoint automatically assigns the redirect_to query parameter value directly to client-side links without any validation and triggers automatic clicks when the page loads in a GitHub Codespaces environment. This allows attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external URLs. The vulnerable route is only registered when a Codespaces environment is detected, and the detection is controlled by environment variables. The same behavior can be activated in production if the GITHUB_CODESPACES_PORT_FORWARDING_DOMAIN environment variable is set. The vulnerability occurs because the code assigns the redirect_to query parameter directly to a.href without any validation and immediately triggers a click (automatic navigation), allowing users to be sent to arbitrary external domains. The execution condition is based on the presence of a sessionStorage flag, meaning it triggers immediately on first visits or in incognito/private browsing windows, with no server-side origin/scheme whitelist or internal path enforcement defenses in place. This issue has been patched in version 0.8.15. As a workaround, users can ensure that GITHUB_CODESPACES_PORT_FORWARDING_DOMAIN is not set in a production environment. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40947 | 2.9 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Yubico libfido2 before 1.17.0, python-fido2 before 2.2.0, and yubikey-manager before 5.9.1 have an unintended DLL search path. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34514 | 2.7 low | 0.00% | aiohttp | AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to version 3.13.4, an attacker who controls the content_type parameter in aiohttp could use this to inject extra headers or similar exploits. This issue has been patched in version 3.13.4. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34517 | 2.7 low | 0.00% | aiohttp | AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to version 3.13.4, for some multipart form fields, aiohttp read the entire field into memory before checking client_max_size. This issue has been patched in version 3.13.4. | Mon 26 Oct |
