| CVE-2024-49568 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: check v2_ext_offset/eid_cnt/ism_gid_cnt when receiving proposal msg When receiving proposal msg in server, the fields v2_ext_offset/ eid_cnt/ism_gid_cnt in proposal msg are from the remote client and can not be fully trusted. Especially the field v2_ext_offset, once exceed the max value, there has the chance to access wrong address, and crash may happen. This patch checks the fields v2_ext_offset/eid_cnt/ism_gid_cnt before using them. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-53006 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: Fix oops due to uncleared server->smbd_conn in reconnect In smbd_destroy(), clear the server->smbd_conn pointer after freeing the smbd_connection struct that it points to so that reconnection doesn't get confused. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2022-49110 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: revisit gc autotuning as of commit 4608fdfc07e1 ("netfilter: conntrack: collect all entries in one cycle") conntrack gc was changed to run every 2 minutes. On systems where conntrack hash table is set to large value, most evictions happen from gc worker rather than the packet path due to hash table distribution. This causes netlink event overflows when events are collected. This change collects average expiry of scanned entries and reschedules to the average remaining value, within 1 to 60 second interval. To avoid event overflows, reschedule after each bucket and add a limit for both run time and number of evictions per run. If more entries have to be evicted, reschedule and restart 1 jiffy into the future. | 15 Oct |

| CVE-2021-4454 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: j1939: fix errant WARN_ON_ONCE in j1939_session_deactivate The conclusion "j1939_session_deactivate() should be called with a session ref-count of at least 2" is incorrect. In some concurrent scenarios, j1939_session_deactivate can be called with the session ref-count less than 2. But there is not any problem because it will check the session active state before session putting in j1939_session_deactivate_locked(). | CVE-2025-21795 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: fix hang in nfsd4_shutdown_callback If nfs4_client is in courtesy state then there is no point to send the callback. This causes nfsd4_shutdown_callback to hang since cl_cb_inflight is not 0. This hang lasts about 15 minutes until TCP notifies NFSD that the connection was dropped. This patch modifies nfsd4_run_cb_work to skip the RPC call if nfs4_client is in courtesy state. | 15 Oct |

| CVE-2024-56779 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix nfs4_openowner leak when concurrent nfsd4_open occur The action force umount(umount -f) will attempt to kill all rpc_task even umount operation may ultimately fail if some files remain open. Consequently, if an action attempts to open a file, it can potentially send two rpc_task to nfs server. NFS CLIENT thread1 thread2 open("file") ... nfs4_do_open _nfs4_do_open _nfs4_open_and_get_state _nfs4_proc_open nfs4_run_open_task /* rpc_task1 */ rpc_run_task rpc_wait_for_completion_task umount -f nfs_umount_begin rpc_killall_tasks rpc_signal_task rpc_task1 been wakeup and return -512 _nfs4_do_open // while loop ... nfs4_run_open_task /* rpc_task2 */ rpc_run_task rpc_wait_for_completion_task While processing an open request, nfsd will first attempt to find or allocate an nfs4_openowner. If it finds an nfs4_openowner that is not marked as NFS4_OO_CONFIRMED, this nfs4_openowner will released. Since two rpc_task can attempt to open the same file simultaneously from the client to server, and because two instances of nfsd can run concurrently, this situation can lead to lots of memory leak. Additionally, when we echo 0 to /proc/fs/nfsd/threads, warning will be triggered. | CVE-2024-56719 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: stmmac: fix TSO DMA API usage causing oops Commit 66600fac7a98 ("net: stmmac: TSO: Fix unbalanced DMA map/unmap for non-paged SKB data") moved the assignment of tx_skbuff_dma[]'s members to be later in stmmac_tso_xmit(). The buf (dma cookie) and len stored in this structure are passed to dma_unmap_single() by stmmac_tx_clean(). The DMA API requires that the dma cookie passed to dma_unmap_single() is the same as the value returned from dma_map_single(). However, by moving the assignment later, this is not the case when priv->dma_cap.addr64 > 32 as "des" is offset by proto_hdr_len. This causes problems such as: dwc-eth-dwmac 2490000.ethernet eth0: Tx DMA map failed and with DMA_API_DEBUG enabled: DMA-API: dwc-eth-dwmac 2490000.ethernet: device driver tries to +free DMA memory it has not allocated [device address=0x000000ffffcf65c0] [size=66 bytes] Fix this by maintaining "des" as the original DMA cookie, and use tso_des to pass the offset DMA cookie to stmmac_tso_allocator(). | CVE-2024-50045 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: br_netfilter: fix panic with metadata_dst skb Fix a kernel panic in the br_netfilter module when sending untagged traffic via a VxLAN device. This happens during the check for fragmentation in br_nf_dev_queue_xmit. It is dependent on: 1) the br_netfilter module being loaded; 2) net.bridge.bridge-nf-call-iptables set to 1; 3) a bridge with a VxLAN (single-vxlan-device) netdevice as a bridge port; 4) untagged frames with size higher than the VxLAN MTU forwarded/flooded When forwarding the untagged packet to the VxLAN bridge port, before the netfilter hooks are called, br_handle_egress_vlan_tunnel is called and changes the skb_dst to the tunnel dst. The tunnel_dst is a metadata type of dst, i.e., skb_valid_dst(skb) is false, and metadata->dst.dev is NULL. Then in the br_netfilter hooks, in br_nf_dev_queue_xmit, there's a check for frames that needs to be fragmented: frames with higher MTU than the VxLAN device end up calling br_nf_ip_fragment, which in turns call ip_skb_dst_mtu. The ip_dst_mtu tries to use the skb_dst(skb) as if it was a valid dst with valid dst->dev, thus the crash. This case was never supported in the first place, so drop the packet instead. | CVE-2024-38558 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: openvswitch: fix overwriting ct original tuple for ICMPv6 OVS_PACKET_CMD_EXECUTE has 3 main attributes: - OVS_PACKET_ATTR_KEY - Packet metadata in a netlink format. - OVS_PACKET_ATTR_PACKET - Binary packet content. - OVS_PACKET_ATTR_ACTIONS - Actions to execute on the packet. OVS_PACKET_ATTR_KEY is parsed first to populate sw_flow_key structure with the metadata like conntrack state, input port, recirculation id, etc. Then the packet itself gets parsed to populate the rest of the keys from the packet headers. Whenever the packet parsing code starts parsing the ICMPv6 header, it first zeroes out fields in the key corresponding to Neighbor Discovery information even if it is not an ND packet. It is an 'ipv6.nd' field. However, the 'ipv6' is a union that shares the space between 'nd' and 'ct_orig' that holds the original tuple conntrack metadata parsed from the OVS_PACKET_ATTR_KEY. ND packets should not normally have conntrack state, so it's fine to share the space, but normal ICMPv6 Echo packets or maybe other types of ICMPv6 can have the state attached and it should not be overwritten. The issue results in all but the last 4 bytes of the destination address being wiped from the original conntrack tuple leading to incorrect packet matching and potentially executing wrong actions in case this packet recirculates within the datapath or goes back to userspace. ND fields should not be accessed in non-ND packets, so not clearing them should be fine. Executing memset() only for actual ND packets to avoid the issue. Initializing the whole thing before parsing is needed because ND packet may not contain all the options. The issue only affects the OVS_PACKET_CMD_EXECUTE path and doesn't affect packets entering OVS datapath from network interfaces, because in this case CT metadata is populated from skb after the packet is already parsed. | 15 Oct |

| CVE-2024-35884 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udp: do not accept non-tunnel GSO skbs landing in a tunnel When rx-udp-gro-forwarding is enabled UDP packets might be GROed when being forwarded. If such packets might land in a tunnel this can cause various issues and udp_gro_receive makes sure this isn't the case by looking for a matching socket. This is performed in udp4/6_gro_lookup_skb but only in the current netns. This is an issue with tunneled packets when the endpoint is in another netns. In such cases the packets will be GROed at the UDP level, which leads to various issues later on. The same thing can happen with rx-gro-list. We saw this with geneve packets being GROed at the UDP level. In such case gso_size is set; later the packet goes through the geneve rx path, the geneve header is pulled, the offset are adjusted and frag_list skbs are not adjusted with regard to geneve. When those skbs hit skb_fragment, it will misbehave. Different outcomes are possible depending on what the GROed skbs look like; from corrupted packets to kernel crashes. One example is a BUG_ON[1] triggered in skb_segment while processing the frag_list. Because gso_size is wrong (geneve header was pulled) skb_segment thinks there is "geneve header size" of data in frag_list, although it's in fact the next packet. The BUG_ON itself has nothing to do with the issue. This is only one of the potential issues. Looking up for a matching socket in udp_gro_receive is fragile: the lookup could be extended to all netns (not speaking about performances) but nothing prevents those packets from being modified in between and we could still not find a matching socket. It's OK to keep the current logic there as it should cover most cases but we also need to make sure we handle tunnel packets being GROed too early. This is done by extending the checks in udp_unexpected_gso: GSO packets lacking the SKB_GSO_UDP_TUNNEL/_CSUM bits and landing in a tunnel must be segmented. [1] kernel BUG at net/core/skbuff.c:4408! | CVE-2024-26880 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm: call the resume method on internal suspend There is this reported crash when experimenting with the lvm2 testsuite. The list corruption is caused by the fact that the postsuspend and resume methods were not paired correctly; there were two consecutive calls to the origin_postsuspend function. The second call attempts to remove the "hash_list" entry from a list, while it was already removed by the first call. Fix __dm_internal_resume so that it calls the preresume and resume methods of the table's targets. If a preresume method of some target fails, we are in a tricky situation. We can't return an error because dm_internal_resume isn't supposed to return errors. We can't return success, because then the "resume" and "postsuspend" methods would not be paired correctly. So, we set the DMF_SUSPENDED flag and we fake normal suspend - it may confuse userspace tools, but it won't cause a kernel crash. ------------[ cut here ]------------ kernel BUG at lib/list_debug.c:56! invalid opcode: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP CPU: 1 PID: 8343 Comm: dmsetup Not tainted 6.8.0-rc6 #4 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS 1.14.0-2 04/01/2014 RIP: 0010:__list_del_entry_valid_or_report+0x77/0xc0 <snip> RSP: 0018:ffff8881b831bcc0 EFLAGS: 00010282 RAX: 000000000000004e RBX: ffff888143b6eb80 RCX: 0000000000000000 RDX: 0000000000000001 RSI: ffffffff819053d0 RDI: 00000000ffffffff RBP: ffff8881b83a3400 R08: 00000000fffeffff R09: 0000000000000058 R10: 0000000000000000 R11: ffffffff81a24080 R12: 0000000000000001 R13: ffff88814538e000 R14: ffff888143bc6dc0 R15: ffffffffa02e4bb0 FS: 00000000f7c0f780(0000) GS:ffff8893f0a40000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 002b ES: 002b CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: 0000000057fb5000 CR3: 0000000143474000 CR4: 00000000000006b0 Call Trace: <TASK> ? die+0x2d/0x80 ? do_trap+0xeb/0xf0 ? __list_del_entry_valid_or_report+0x77/0xc0 ? do_error_trap+0x60/0x80 ? __list_del_entry_valid_or_report+0x77/0xc0 ? exc_invalid_op+0x49/0x60 ? __list_del_entry_valid_or_report+0x77/0xc0 ? asm_exc_invalid_op+0x16/0x20 ? table_deps+0x1b0/0x1b0 [dm_mod] ? __list_del_entry_valid_or_report+0x77/0xc0 origin_postsuspend+0x1a/0x50 [dm_snapshot] dm_table_postsuspend_targets+0x34/0x50 [dm_mod] dm_suspend+0xd8/0xf0 [dm_mod] dev_suspend+0x1f2/0x2f0 [dm_mod] ? table_deps+0x1b0/0x1b0 [dm_mod] ctl_ioctl+0x300/0x5f0 [dm_mod] dm_compat_ctl_ioctl+0x7/0x10 [dm_mod] __x64_compat_sys_ioctl+0x104/0x170 do_syscall_64+0x184/0x1b0 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x46/0x4e RIP: 0033:0xf7e6aead <snip> ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- | 15 Oct |

| CVE-2022-48828 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Fix ia_size underflow iattr::ia_size is a loff_t, which is a signed 64-bit type. NFSv3 and NFSv4 both define file size as an unsigned 64-bit type. Thus there is a range of valid file size values an NFS client can send that is already larger than Linux can handle. Currently decode_fattr4() dumps a full u64 value into ia_size. If that value happens to be larger than S64_MAX, then ia_size underflows. I'm about to fix up the NFSv3 behavior as well, so let's catch the underflow in the common code path: nfsd_setattr(). | 14 Oct |

| CVE-2026-108466 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | microsoft, windows_10_1607, windows_10_1809, windows_10_21h2 | Out-of-bounds read in Windows Kernel allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2024-35823 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vt: fix unicode buffer corruption when deleting characters This is the same issue that was fixed for the VGA text buffer in commit 39cdb68c64d8 ("vt: fix memory overlapping when deleting chars in the buffer"). The cure is also the same i.e. replace memcpy() with memmove() due to the overlaping buffers. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-52699 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sysv: don't call sb_bread() with pointers_lock held syzbot is reporting sleep in atomic context in SysV filesystem [1], for sb_bread() is called with rw_spinlock held. A "write_lock(&pointers_lock) => read_lock(&pointers_lock) deadlock" bug and a "sb_bread() with write_lock(&pointers_lock)" bug were introduced by "Replace BKL for chain locking with sysvfs-private rwlock" in Linux 2.5.12. Then, "[PATCH] err1-40: sysvfs locking fix" in Linux 2.6.8 fixed the former bug by moving pointers_lock lock to the callers, but instead introduced a "sb_bread() with read_lock(&pointers_lock)" bug (which made this problem easier to hit). Al Viro suggested that why not to do like get_branch()/get_block()/ find_shared() in Minix filesystem does. And doing like that is almost a revert of "[PATCH] err1-40: sysvfs locking fix" except that get_branch() from with find_shared() is called without write_lock(&pointers_lock). | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-100634 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | SiYuan before v3.8.4 does not validate the sender or restrict recipients in the 'siyuan-send-windows' IPC handler of the Electron main process (app/electron/main.js). The handler ignores event.sender and forwards any received payload to every BrowserWindow returned by BrowserWindow.getAllWindows(), including windows belonging to other opened workspaces. A renderer connected to an attacker-controlled remote kernel can therefore send {cmd: "lockscreenByMode"} and have it delivered across the workspace boundary; a sibling workspace window whose lockScreenMode is set to 1 invokes lockScreen(). Repeated messages allow the remote workspace to repeatedly lock unrelated local workspace windows, causing a limited denial of service. No confidentiality, integrity, or code-execution impact was observed. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2022-3534 | 5.1 medium | 1.0% | debian, linux, debian_linux, linux_kernel | A vulnerability has been found in Linux Kernel up to 5.10.162/5.15.85/6.0.15/6.1.1. The impacted element is the function btf_dump_name_dups of the file tools/lib/bpf/btf_dump.c of the component libbpf. The manipulation leads to use after free. Upgrading to version 5.10.163, 5.15.86, 6.0.16, 6.1.2 and 6.2 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The identifier of the patch is c61650b869e0b6fb0c0a28ed42d928eea969afc8/fbe08093fb2334549859829ef81d42570812597d/8c64a8e76eb85d422af5ec60ccbf26e3ead8c333/a733bf10198eb5bb927890940de8ab457491ed3b/93c660ca40b5d2f7c1b1626e955a8e9fa30e0749. You should upgrade the affected component. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2024-24859 | 4.8 medium | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | A race condition was found in the Linux kernel's net/bluetooth in sniff_{min,max}_interval_set() function. This can result in a bluetooth sniffing exception issue, possibly leading denial of service. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-83925 | 4.7 medium | 1.0% | microsoft, windows_10_1607, windows_10_1809, windows_10_21h2 | Use of uninitialized resource in Windows Kernel allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. | Mon 26 Oct |
