CVE-2026-61845 8.9 high — rgrove, crass Crass is a Ruby CSS parser that's fully compliant with the CSS Syntax Level 3 specification. Prior to 1.0.7, Crass converts `CSS scientific notation` number values with unbounded exponentiation before clamping the result to `Float::MAX`. Applications that use Crass to parse attacker-controlled CSS strings can be forced to spend disproportionate CPU and memory parsing a tiny input, potentially resulting in a crash. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.7. 15 h ago
CVE-2026-119331 7.1 high — ladybirdbrowser, ladybird Ladybird is a truly independent web browser. Prior to the c0d68bddf3e3616e5173835f0f4c155ee9700d91 commit, CSSStyleSheet.cssRules, insertRule(), and deleteRule() in Libraries/LibWeb/CSS/CSSStyleSheet.cpp did not enforce the stylesheet origin-clean flag with the required SecurityError, even though cross-origin imported stylesheets were correctly marked non-origin-clean. A malicious page could read parsed rules from a stylesheet loaded without CORS and could insert or delete rules in the victim stylesheet, bypassing the Same-Origin Policy. Reading could expose selectors, generated content, feature markers, or other sensitive rule text, while mutation could alter page visibility or layout. The issue does not provide memory corruption, code execution, or persistence after the attacker page closes. This vulnerability is fixed by commit c0d68bddf3e3616e5173835f0f4c155ee9700d91. 13 h ago
CVE-2026-61847 6.3 medium — rgrove, crass Crass is a Ruby CSS parser that's fully compliant with the CSS Syntax Level 3 specification. Prior to 1.0.7, when the `:preserve_comments` option is not enabled, which is the default, Crass discards CSS comments by recursively consuming the next token. An attacker-provided stylesheet containing a very large number of adjacent comments can cause excessive recursion and trigger a `SystemStackError`, denying service to the parsing application. Preserving comments avoids this recursive path. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.7. 13 h ago
CVE-2026-61848 6.3 medium — rgrove, crass Crass is a Ruby CSS parser that's fully compliant with the CSS Syntax Level 3 specification. Prior to 1.0.7, when Crass parses input containing `non-ASCII characters`, inefficiencies in tracking the positions of `multi-byte characters` result in superlinear parsing time. An attacker-controlled CSS input consisting of many `non-ASCII characters` can therefore cause excessive CPU consumption and potentially denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.7. 16 h ago
CVE-2026-61846 6.3 medium — rgrove, crass Crass is a Ruby CSS parser that's fully compliant with the CSS Syntax Level 3 specification. Prior to 1.0.7, Crass recursively parses `CSS simple blocks and functions` without a depth guard. An attacker-controlled CSS value containing deeply nested blocks or functions can recurse until Ruby raises `SystemStackError`: stack level too deep, or cause excessive memory usage. Version 1.0.7 adds a configurable depth limit with a conservative default. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.7. 16 h ago
CVE-2026-113787 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet odf-kit allows users to generate, fill, read, and convert OpenDocument Format files (.odt, .ods) in TypeScript and JavaScript. Starting in version 0.6.0 and prior to version 0.14.2, he renderer has an `escapeHtml()` helper and applies it consistently to text content and to attribute values — `href`, `src`, `alt`, `id`, `data-author`, `data-date`, citation text all go through it. The inline CSS strings do not. In `renderTextSpan` (`dist/odt/to-html/html-renderer.js:195`), the value of e.g. `fo:color` is copied from the document into `style.fontColor` verbatim by the parser (`extractSpanStyle`, read/parser.js:348), then concatenated raw into the attribute. A `"` in the value terminates the attribute early. The same unescaped `style="${...}"` pattern appears at roughly ten other emission sites: paragraph and heading (`paragraphStyleToCss`), table cells and rows (`cellStyleToCss`, `rowStyleToCss`), `<col>`, and the image style attribute. The affected source attributes include `fo:color`, `fo:background-color`, `fo:text-shadow`, `fo:letter-spacing`, `fo:font-family` (via both direct and font-face resolution), `fo:margin-*`, `fo:padding-*`, `fo:line-height`, `fo:border*`, and `style:vertical-align`. Version 0.14.2 contains a patch. 17 h ago
CVE-2026-114127 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet Astro is a web framework for content-driven websites. From 7.1.0 until 7.3.3, Astro's server-side View Transition CSS generator does not keep string animation properties within their generated declarations. An application that passes attacker-controlled data into properties such as duration, delay, easing, direction, fillMode, or animation names can allow CSS delimiters to terminate the declaration and add attacker-selected rules to the server-rendered page. The generated stylesheet still escapes literal less-than characters, so the injected content cannot terminate the style element or directly inject HTML or JavaScript. The injected CSS can conceal or reposition content, add generated text, and otherwise misrepresent the interface; some applications may also expose data already present in selectable DOM attributes through conditional resource loads. This issue is fixed in 7.3.3. 15 h ago
CVE-2025-38373 unscored 0.00% linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/mlx5: Fix potential deadlock in MR deregistration The issue arises when kzalloc() is invoked while holding umem_mutex or any other lock acquired under umem_mutex. This is problematic because kzalloc() can trigger fs_reclaim_aqcuire(), which may, in turn, invoke mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start(). This function can lead to mlx5_ib_invalidate_range(), which attempts to acquire umem_mutex again, resulting in a deadlock. The problematic flow: CPU0 | CPU1 ---------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------ mlx5_ib_dereg_mr() | → revoke_mr() | → mutex_lock(&umem_odp->umem_mutex) | | mlx5_mkey_cache_init() | → mutex_lock(&dev->cache.rb_lock) | → mlx5r_cache_create_ent_locked() | → kzalloc(GFP_KERNEL) | → fs_reclaim() | → mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start() | → mlx5_ib_invalidate_range() | → mutex_lock(&umem_odp->umem_mutex) → cache_ent_find_and_store() | → mutex_lock(&dev->cache.rb_lock) | Additionally, when kzalloc() is called from within cache_ent_find_and_store(), we encounter the same deadlock due to re-acquisition of umem_mutex. Solve by releasing umem_mutex in dereg_mr() after umr_revoke_mr() and before acquiring rb_lock. This ensures that we don't hold umem_mutex while performing memory allocations that could trigger the reclaim path. This change prevents the deadlock by ensuring proper lock ordering and avoiding holding locks during memory allocation operations that could trigger the reclaim path. The following lockdep warning demonstrates the deadlock: python3/20557 is trying to acquire lock: ffff888387542128 (&umem_odp->umem_mutex){+.+.}-{4:4}, at: mlx5_ib_invalidate_range+0x5b/0x550 [mlx5_ib] but task is already holding lock: ffffffff82f6b840 (mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start){+.+.}-{0:0}, at: unmap_vmas+0x7b/0x1a0 which lock already depends on the new lock. the existing dependency chain (in reverse order) is: -> #3 (mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start){+.+.}-{0:0}: fs_reclaim_acquire+0x60/0xd0 mem_cgroup_css_alloc+0x6f/0x9b0 cgroup_init_subsys+0xa4/0x240 cgroup_init+0x1c8/0x510 start_kernel+0x747/0x760 x86_64_start_reservations+0x25/0x30 x86_64_start_kernel+0x73/0x80 common_startup_64+0x129/0x138 -> #2 (fs_reclaim){+.+.}-{0:0}: fs_reclaim_acquire+0x91/0xd0 __kmalloc_cache_noprof+0x4d/0x4c0 mlx5r_cache_create_ent_locked+0x75/0x620 [mlx5_ib] mlx5_mkey_cache_init+0x186/0x360 [mlx5_ib] mlx5_ib_stage_post_ib_reg_umr_init+0x3c/0x60 [mlx5_ib] __mlx5_ib_add+0x4b/0x190 [mlx5_ib] mlx5r_probe+0xd9/0x320 [mlx5_ib] auxiliary_bus_probe+0x42/0x70 really_probe+0xdb/0x360 __driver_probe_device+0x8f/0x130 driver_probe_device+0x1f/0xb0 __driver_attach+0xd4/0x1f0 bus_for_each_dev+0x79/0xd0 bus_add_driver+0xf0/0x200 driver_register+0x6e/0xc0 __auxiliary_driver_register+0x6a/0xc0 do_one_initcall+0x5e/0x390 do_init_module+0x88/0x240 init_module_from_file+0x85/0xc0 idempotent_init_module+0x104/0x300 __x64_sys_finit_module+0x68/0xc0 do_syscall_64+0x6d/0x140 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x4b/0x53 -> #1 (&dev->cache.rb_lock){+.+.}-{4:4}: __mutex_lock+0x98/0xf10 __mlx5_ib_dereg_mr+0x6f2/0x890 [mlx5_ib] mlx5_ib_dereg_mr+0x21/0x110 [mlx5_ib] ib_dereg_mr_user+0x85/0x1f0 [ib_core] ---truncated--- 23 h ago
