CVE-2026-68749exploit 8.2 high 1.0% rrrene, htmlsanitizeex Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity vulnerability in the CSS scrubber in rrrene html_sanitize_ex allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust server CPU via a long CSS declaration in sanitized HTML. The declaration regex in HtmlSanitizeEx.Scrubber.CSS.scrub/1 matches the property name with an unbounded greedy [-\w]+ followed by a mandatory :, so a long run of word characters not followed by a colon makes the engine give back one character at a time and retry the colon at every start offset. The work is quadratic in the length of the run, and no length cap is applied to the CSS handed to the scrubber. An 80 KB <style> body costs roughly 2.4 seconds of scheduler time, so a few concurrent requests saturate the BEAM scheduler pool and make the application unresponsive. The impact is CPU exhaustion only. Nothing is read, modified or disclosed. This issue affects html_sanitize_ex: from 0.3.1 before 1.4.5 and from 1.5.0-rc.0 before 1.5.3. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2022-29577exploit 6.1 medium 1.0% antisamy_project, oracle, antisamy, enterprise_manager_base_platform, weblogic_server OWASP AntiSamy before 1.6.7 allows XSS via HTML tag smuggling on STYLE content with crafted input. The output serializer does not properly encode the supposed Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) content. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2022-28367. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-6300exploit 8.8 high 0.00% google, chrome Use after free in CSS in Google Chrome prior to 147.0.7727.101 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-91159exploit 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to 2026.9.0, 2026.8.1, 2026.7.3, and 2026.1.9, oEmbed processing treated an entire attacker-controlled HTML fragment as trusted when the fragment contained an iframe whose source matched the configured allowlist. A user with posting permission who controlled a public webpage and its oEmbed response could combine an allowlisted iframe with unrelated sibling HTML or CSS, causing stored visual overlays or other styled content to appear in post content and enabling misleading or fraudulent user interfaces. Exploitation requires a posting account, control of the fetched webpage and oEmbed response, and an allowlisted iframe source. The issue affects content integrity but does not expose restricted data, disrupt availability, or require interaction with Discourse Content Security Policy. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.9.0, 2026.8.1, 2026.7.3, and 2026.1.9. 20 Oct
CVE-2018-15756 7.5 high 9.0% vmware, oracle, spring_framework, agile_product_lifecycle_management, communications_brm_-_elastic_charging_engine Spring Framework, version 5.1, versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.10, versions 4.3.x prior to 4.3.20, and older unsupported versions on the 4.2.x branch provide support for range requests when serving static resources through the ResourceHttpRequestHandler, or starting in 5.0 when an annotated controller returns an org.springframework.core.io.Resource. A malicious user (or attacker) can add a range header with a high number of ranges, or with wide ranges that overlap, or both, for a denial of service attack. This vulnerability affects applications that depend on either spring-webmvc or spring-webflux. Such applications must also have a registration for serving static resources (e.g. JS, CSS, images, and others), or have an annotated controller that returns an org.springframework.core.io.Resource. Spring Boot applications that depend on spring-boot-starter-web or spring-boot-starter-webflux are ready to serve static resources out of the box and are therefore vulnerable. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-64796 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - various code injection vectors in Sourcerer extension - Free did not require both the article creator and last modifier to be Super Users before executing article PHP. Pro did not consistently enforce configured CSS, JavaScript and PHP permissions across tags, attributes, files and both article owners. PHP include attributes could also escape the configured include folder, and executable script/style variants could bypass detection. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-113072 9.6 critical 1.0% google, chrome Memory corruption in CSS in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical) 22 Oct
CVE-2025-65026 9.6 critical 1.0% esm, esm.sh esm.sh is a nobuild content delivery network(CDN) for modern web development. Prior to version 136, The esm.sh CDN service contains a Template Literal Injection vulnerability (CWE-94) in its CSS-to-JavaScript module conversion feature. When a CSS file is requested with the ?module query parameter, esm.sh converts it to a JavaScript module by embedding the CSS content directly into a template literal without proper sanitization. An attacker can inject malicious JavaScript code using ${...} expressions within CSS files, which will execute when the module is imported by victim applications. This enables Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in browsers and Remote Code Execution (RCE) in Electron applications. This issue has been patched in version 136. 18 Oct
CVE-2023-53982 9.3 critical 1.0% sigb, pmb PMB 7.4.6 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the id parameter of the storage module (categ=storage) of the opac_css/ajax.php endpoint that allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries. Attackers can exploit the unsanitized 'id' parameter by injecting conditional sleep statements to extract information or perform time-based blind SQL injection attacks. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-53727 8.9 high 1.0% premailer, css_parser css_parser is a Ruby CSS parser. From 2.2.0 until 3.0.0, CssParser::Parser#read_remote_file in lib/css_parser/parser.rb, and therefore load_uri! and the @import-following branch of add_block!, issued HTTP and HTTPS requests against any host, port, and URI without a scheme allowlist, host or IP filtering, or protection against link-local, loopback, or RFC-1918 addresses. Location: redirects were followed recursively back into the same function, which also serviced file:// URIs, so a single attacker-controlled HTTP redirect could upgrade the bug from SSRF to arbitrary local file disclosure. Any consumer of css_parser that hands it attacker-influenced CSS together with a base_uri: option is exposed. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-4671 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet justhtml before 1.18.0 contains multiple low-severity denial-of-service issues in CSS selector handling and linkification. Applications that evaluate attacker-controlled selector strings (via query(), matches(), or selector-based transforms), run selector matching over very large untrusted documents, construct DOM trees from untrusted structure, or enable linkification over attacker-controlled text may consume disproportionate CPU or memory. Triggers include oversized selectors, large selector lists, oversized compound selectors, long combinator chains, deeply nested functional pseudo-classes, repeated token/positional matching, cyclic DOM graphs causing non-terminating traversal, and punctuation-heavy or trailing-bracket linkification input. These are availability-only concerns and do not by themselves allow script execution, data disclosure, or sanitizer bypass. Default JustHTML(sanitize=True) usage is not expected to be exposed, since selectors are normally supplied by application code. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-49476 7.5 high 1.0% facelessuser, soup_sieve Soup Sieve is a CSS selector library designed to be used with Beautiful Soup 4. Prior to 2.8.4, the CSS selector parser in soupsieve allocates unbounded memory when compiling large comma-separated selector lists, allowing an attacker who can supply a crafted selector string to soupsieve.compile() or Beautiful Soup .select() / .select_one() to allocate hundreds of megabytes of heap memory from a relatively small input and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.4. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-49477 7.5 high 1.0% facelessuser, soup_sieve Soup Sieve is a CSS selector library designed to be used with Beautiful Soup 4. Prior to 2.8.4, the CSS selector parser in soupsieve contains a regular expression vulnerable to catastrophic backtracking when processing an attribute selector with an unterminated quoted value in soupsieve/css_parser.py, allowing an attacker who can supply untrusted CSS selector strings to soupsieve.compile() or Beautiful Soup .select() / .select_one() to cause CPU exhaustion and denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.4. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-62992 6.9 medium 1.0% no CPE yet Smarty is a template engine for PHP, facilitating the separation of presentation (HTML/CSS) from application logic. Prior to 5.8.2 (and 4.5.7 on the 4.x line), Security::_checkDir() does not fully resolve symbolic links before validating that a requested path lies within a configured secure directory. An attacker able to place or reference a symlink within a directory Smarty treats as trusted (e.g., a template or config directory) could use it to point outside the intended secure directory, bypassing the containment check and reading arbitrary files accessible to the PHP process. This issue is fixed in versions 5.8.2 and 4.5.7. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-62996 6.9 medium 1.0% no CPE yet Smarty is a template engine for PHP, facilitating the separation of presentation (HTML/CSS) from application logic. From 5.0.0 until 5.8.4, Smarty's stream: resource-name handling does not adequately restrict which PHP stream wrappers and filter chains can be referenced from a template, allowing a php://filter-wrapped resource name to be used to read the contents of arbitrary local files accessible to the PHP process. An attacker able to author or influence a template's resource reference could exploit this to disclose sensitive file contents outside the intended template/config scope. This issue is fixed in version 5.8.4. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-114623 6.5 medium 1.0% no CPE yet baserCMS is a website development framework. In versions 5.0.0 before 5.3.2 and 5.4.0 before 5.4.2, an authenticated user with only theme-file view permission can traverse outside the theme directory through the optional BcThemeFile plugin's Admin web screen. ThemeFilesController::parseArgs() constructs a path containing literal ../ segments, and the view and edit actions pass it to ThemeFilesService::get() without containment validation. Authorization checks the unresolved request path, after which ThemeFile::_getContents() reads the resolved file and exposes its contents in the form textarea. A client must preserve the dot segments rather than normalize them away. Readable files are limited to .php, .css, .js, and .ctp; this can disclose application source and config/install.php database credentials in MySQL or PostgreSQL deployments, while SQLite configurations have an empty database password. Reading config/app_local.php may expose the Security.salt fallback, which is effective only when not overridden by environment configuration. The flaw does not disclose .env, .pem, or SQLite .db files, does not itself permit file writes or code execution, and does not affect the separate API getFullpath() route. The plugin is disabled by default and unauthenticated requests are not sufficient. This issue has been patched in versions 5.3.2 and 5.4.2. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-97348 6.5 medium 1.0% no CPE yet The SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.74.3 via the get_instance_css function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The widget's normal update()/sanitize_field_input() pipeline — which would reject non-hex color values — is bypassed entirely because the [siteorigin_widget] shortcode handler calls $the_widget->widget() directly on the attacker-supplied decoded JSON instance. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-104769 5.9 medium 1.0% no CPE yet The Debloat – Remove Unused CSS, Optimize JS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.0 via the 's' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. Exploitation requires that the site administrator has enabled the Optimize CSS feature (with the default Inline Google Fonts option active), but once that condition is met the attack is trivially triggered by an unauthenticated visitor with a single crafted GET request to the public search URL. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-70609 5.7 medium 1.0% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.7, 40.9.0, 41.2.0, and 42.0.0-beta.1, the mode option of webContents.openDevTools() was not sanitized before use by the DevTools frontend. If an attacker can influence this value, script under their control may run in the DevTools context, which in unsandboxed configurations has access to Node.js, including when untrusted input reaches the mode argument of openDevTools() or untrusted content calls openDevTools() on a webview it embeds. This issue is fixed in 39.8.7, 40.9.0, 41.2.0, and 42.0.0-beta.1. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-70610 5.4 medium 1.0% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.4, objects copied across the contextBridge boundary from untrusted content could carry an attacker-influenced prototype, enabling prototype-pollution-style attacks against preload code despite context isolation being enabled. Apps are only affected if their preload code accepts object arguments from untrusted content and reads properties from them without own-property checks, while apps that only accept primitive arguments or validate object arguments are not affected. This issue is fixed in 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.4. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-50159 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. Prior to 10.9.8 and 11.16.1, Mermaid is vulnerable to CSS injection via sibling combinator selectors generated from diagram-supplied class or id names. An attacker who can supply diagram text can inject arbitrary CSS into the rendered page, potentially altering the appearance or behavior of unrelated page elements. This issue is fixed in versions 10.9.8 and 11.16.1. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-73422 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet Astro is a web framework for content-driven websites. From 2.9.0 until 7.1.0, Astro's server-side View Transition CSS generator interpolates animation properties into an inline style element without escaping them for CSS and HTML contexts. An attacker-controlled View Transition animation value such as duration can terminate the generated style element and inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript. The affected code is packages/astro/src/runtime/server/transition.ts; renderTransition passes sheet.toString() into markHTMLString(), while addAnimationProperty serializes duration through toTimeValue() and also handles easing, direction, delay, fillMode, and name. Exploitation requires an on-demand or server-rendered route to pass attacker-controlled data into a View Transition animation definition and can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the affected application's origin, allowing access to sensitive page data and authenticated actions available to the victim. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-70607 5.3 medium 1.0% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.8, 40.9.0, 41.2.1, and 42.0.0-beta.3, some window options supplied by web content in the window.open() features string were applied to the new BrowserWindow without an allowlist. Untrusted content could set window options it should not control, including options that cause the main process to access attacker-chosen file or network paths, when untrusted content can call window.open() and the app does not override child window options via setWindowOpenHandler or overrideBrowserWindowOptions. This issue is fixed in 39.8.8, 40.9.0, 41.2.1, and 42.0.0-beta.3. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-113797 3.1 low 1.0% no CPE yet Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 42.11.1, 43.5.1, 44.1.1, and 45.0.0-alpha.4, chrome.tabs.query() returned each tab's url and title to extensions that had neither the tabs permission nor matching host permissions. An application that loaded an extension it did not fully trust through session.extensions.loadExtension could therefore allow that extension to read the URL and title of every webContents in its session. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.1, 43.5.1, 44.1.1, and 45.0.0-alpha.4. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-62643 10.0 critical 0.00% roundcube, webmail In Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.17 and 1.7.x before 1.7.2, insufficient Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) sanitization in HTML e-mail messages may lead to SSRF or Information Disclosure, e.g., if stylesheet links point to local network hosts. NOTE: this issue exists because of insufficient fixes for CVE-2026-35540 and CVE-2026-48843. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-54067 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, CSS snippet body containing </style> breaks out of its surrounding <style> tag when renderSnippet() interpolates it via insertAdjacentHTML. A payload like runs arbitrary JavaScript in the renderer. On Electron desktop builds the renderer runs with nodeIntegration:true, so require('child_process') is reachable from the injected handler and the XSS chains to host RCE. Snippets sync via the workspace repository, so an attacker with write access to any synced workspace plants the payload once and it fires on every device that pulls. The bug also bypasses the user's enabledCSS / enabledJS separation. A user who turned enabledJS off was making a deliberate call not to run untrusted JavaScript; the CSS path runs it anyway. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-102676 9.8 critical 0.00% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5, an Electron <webview> guest could enable nodeIntegrationInWorker for its Web Workers even when the unsandboxed embedder had Node.js integration disabled, allowing untrusted guest content to create a Node-enabled worker with more privilege than the embedder granted. Applications that do not enable the <webview> tag or that keep the embedder sandboxed are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-61845 8.9 high — rgrove, crass Crass is a Ruby CSS parser that's fully compliant with the CSS Syntax Level 3 specification. Prior to 1.0.7, Crass converts `CSS scientific notation` number values with unbounded exponentiation before clamping the result to `Float::MAX`. Applications that use Crass to parse attacker-controlled CSS strings can be forced to spend disproportionate CPU and memory parsing a tiny input, potentially resulting in a crash. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.7. 9 h ago
CVE-2026-7938 8.8 high 0.00% google, chrome Use after free in CSS in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-16771 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In firmware versions 2.7.7 and earlier, the Arris BGW210‑700 gateway fails to enforce any server‑side authentication on its /cgi-bin/*.ha management endpoints, relying solely on client‑side CSS/JavaScript gating that can be bypassed by any HTTP client. This allows unauthenticated attackers on the LAN to read sensitive configuration data, modify persistent device settings, or trigger backend diagnostic operations. The issue appears systemic across the CGI handler chain. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-113203 8.8 high 0.00% google, chrome Use after free in CSS in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) 22 Oct
CVE-2026-112997 8.8 high 0.00% google, chrome Memory corruption in CSS in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) 21 Oct
CVE-2026-102677 8.8 high 0.00% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. From 42.3.3 until 42.10.0, 43.5.0, and 44.0.0-beta.6, Electron's sandboxed preload code cache did not verify that a cached entry matched the preload it was served for. A compromised renderer could write attacker-controlled cache data and cause Electron to reuse it for a later load, executing the renderer's code in the more privileged preload context. The issue affects applications that load untrusted content. This issue is fixed in versions 42.10.0, 43.5.0, and 44.0.0-beta.6. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-66021 8.6 high 0.00% owasp, java_html_sanitizer OWASP Java HTML Sanitizer is a configureable HTML Sanitizer written in Java, allowing inclusion of HTML authored by third-parties in web applications while protecting against XSS. In version 20240325.1, OWASP java html sanitizer is vulnerable to XSS if HtmlPolicyBuilder allows noscript and style tags with allowTextIn inside the style tag. This could lead to XSS if the payload is crafted in such a way that it does not sanitise the CSS and allows tags which is not mentioned in HTML policy. At time of publication no known patch is available. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-118246 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 10.0.0 until 11.4.9, 12.6.1, and 13.1.0, Highcharts applies breadcrumbs.style as SVG attributes rather than CSS and does not filter the attribute names. An attacker who controls chart configuration can provide event-handler keys through drilldown.breadcrumbs, navigation.breadcrumbs, or hierarchical series breadcrumb options. The keys become active handlers on the breadcrumb button and execute in the hosting page origin after the user navigates to a level and hovers over or activates the button. Styled-mode charts do not apply this option and are not affected. This issue is fixed in 11.4.9, 12.6.1 and 13.1.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-64036 7.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cgroup/rstat: validate cpu before css_rstat_cpu() access css_rstat_updated() is exposed as a BPF kfunc and accepts a caller-provided cpu argument. The function uses cpu for per-cpu rstat lookups without checking whether it refers to a valid possible CPU. A BPF iter/cgroup program with CAP_BPF and CAP_PERFMON can pass an invalid cpu value. CVE-2026-0669 7.5 high 0.00% css_project, css Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki - CSS extension allows Path Traversal. This issue affects MediaWiki - CSS extension: 1.44, 1.43, 1.39. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-70601 7.5 high 0.00% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.5, apps that expose Promise-returning functions to web content via contextBridge may be vulnerable to a context isolation bypass. Untrusted web content could obtain access to the isolated preload world and, through it, every capability the preload script has. In renderers without a sandbox, or with nodeIntegration enabled, this may escalate to Node.js access. Apps are affected if they expose Promise-returning functions via contextBridge, the standard pattern for wrapping ipcRenderer.invoke, in windows that load untrusted content. This issue is fixed in versions 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.5. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-102675 7.4 high 0.00% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5, responses served through protocol.registerFileProtocol or protocol.registerHttpProtocol for a custom scheme registered with supportFetchAPI enabled but corsEnabled disabled could remain script-readable across origins. This residual issue completes the remediation for CVE-2026-70604. Applications are affected only when they expose such a scheme and load untrusted content in the same session. Schemes intentionally registered with corsEnabled enabled remain cross-origin readable by design. This issue is fixed in versions 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-115570 7.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 42.11.16, 43.8.1, 44.9.1, and 45.0.0-beta.6, Electron does not block compromised eMudhra intermediate certificates in Chromium networking, Node.js tls, Node.js https, or Node.js fetch. An attacker who holds a certificate issued through one of these intermediates and can intercept network traffic can impersonate a TLS server to an affected application. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.16, 43.8.1, 44.9.1, and 45.0.0-beta.6. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-70604 7.4 high 0.00% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.10, 40.9.3, 41.4.0, and 42.0.0, a custom scheme registered with supportFetchAPI: true but without corsEnabled: true was not subject to CORS enforcement. A page loaded from a remote origin could therefore fetch() or XMLHttpRequest that scheme cross-origin and read the full response body, rather than the read being blocked. Apps that serve sensitive data from such a scheme and load remote or untrusted content in a renderer are affected. This issue is fixed in versions 39.8.10, 40.9.3, 41.4.0, and 42.0.0. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-111122 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet The SiteOrigin CSS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'href' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the malicious comment to be approved and an administrator to subsequently open the Visual Inspector and click the attacker's anchor link, both of which are plausible interactions during routine comment triage. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-107764 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet The SiteOrigin CSS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'url (comment_author_url)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is possible because WordPress core's esc_url() preserves HTML entity-encoded characters, allowing a crafted entity-encoded payload in the comment 'Website' field to survive storage and be DOM-decoded by the browser into executable markup at the sink. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-70608 7.2 high 0.00% electronjs, electron Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.10, 41.10.3, and 42.0.1, a sandboxed iframe without the allow-popups keyword could still open a new window or trigger setWindowOpenHandler with no user interaction because new-window navigations taking the OpenURL path did not apply the iframe sandbox popup restriction. Apps that embed untrusted content in sandboxed iframes and rely on the absence of allow-popups to prevent window creation are affected, while apps that deny window creation in setWindowOpenHandler or do not embed untrusted content in sandboxed iframes are not affected. This issue is fixed in 39.8.10, 41.10.3, and 42.0.1. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-119331 7.1 high — ladybirdbrowser, ladybird Ladybird is a truly independent web browser. Prior to the c0d68bddf3e3616e5173835f0f4c155ee9700d91 commit, CSSStyleSheet.cssRules, insertRule(), and deleteRule() in Libraries/LibWeb/CSS/CSSStyleSheet.cpp did not enforce the stylesheet origin-clean flag with the required SecurityError, even though cross-origin imported stylesheets were correctly marked non-origin-clean. A malicious page could read parsed rules from a stylesheet loaded without CORS and could insert or delete rules in the victim stylesheet, bypassing the Same-Origin Policy. Reading could expose selectors, generated content, feature markers, or other sensitive rule text, while mutation could alter page visibility or layout. The issue does not provide memory corruption, code execution, or persistence after the attacker page closes. This vulnerability is fixed by commit c0d68bddf3e3616e5173835f0f4c155ee9700d91. 6 h ago
CVE-2026-6861 7.1 high 0.00% gnu, emacs A flaw was found in GNU Emacs. This vulnerability, a memory corruption issue, occurs when Emacs processes specially crafted SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) data. A local user could exploit this by convincing a victim to open a malicious SVG file, which may lead to a denial of service (DoS) or potentially information disclosure. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-98163 7.0 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cgroup: Avoid iteration of dying tasks with zero refcount The commit 260fbcb92bbea ("cgroup: Move dying_tasks cleanup from cgroup_task_release() to cgroup_task_free()") extended the lifetime of tasks on the dying_tasks list. The iterators have provision to go through dying_tasks because of dying threadgroup leaders or explicit CSS_TASK_ITER_WITH_DEAD, however, it was expected that such tasks can obtain a new reference (that is possible before cgroup_task_release()/put_task_struct_rcu_user()). The tasks after cgroup_task_release() and before cgroup_task_free() are subject to race when they may or may not have ->usage count > 0. The race window is between css_task_iter_next() invocations when css_set_lock is released and we may arrive at a new ->task_pos. The iterator should not attempt to resurrect tasks whose ->usage count dropped to zero. (When that happens, __put_task_struct_rcu_cb() is already imminent and the returned task_struct would could be used after free.) As for the fix, we cannot simply check the signal->live count of a task on the dying list because that won't distinguish regular zombies waiting to be reaped from RCU remnant tasks that are going to be free'd. Therefore add an extra check to rule out ->usage==0 tasks from any iteration. The repeat: loop in css_task_iter_advance() doesn't consider ->usage count, so add a new loop to css_task_iter_next() to skip de-used tasks on the dying_list. Rough illustration of the possible race R (reader of cgroup.procs) T (thread) L (group leader) --------------------------------- -------------------------------- -------------------------------- L exits, signal->live > 0 cgroup_task_dead(L) css_set_skip_task_iters() // skips only cset->tasks list_add_tail(&L->cg_list, &cset->dying_tasks) css_task_iter_next() take css_set_lock css_task_iter_advance() leader && signal->live != 0 => it->task_pos = &L->cg_list release css_set_lock T exits --signal->live == 0 cgroup_task_dead(T) // css_set_lock release_task(T) cgroup_task_release(T) release_task(L) // zap_leader cgroup_task_release(L) put_task_struct_rcu_user(L) ...RCU... put_task_struct(L) L->usage = 0 /* L still on dying_tasks */ ...RCU... __put_task_struct(L) css_task_iter_next() // another iteration take css_set_lock it->task_pos = &L->cg_list get_task_struct(L) => addition on 0 drop css_set_lock cgroup_task_free(L) css_set_skip_task_iters() // dying skip comes too late free_task(L) cgroup_procs_show() task_pid_vnr(L) 19 Oct
CVE-2024-56672 7.0 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-cgroup: Fix UAF in blkcg_unpin_online() blkcg_unpin_online() walks up the blkcg hierarchy putting the online pin. To walk up, it uses blkcg_parent(blkcg) but it was calling that after blkcg_destroy_blkgs(blkcg) which could free the blkcg, leading to the following UAF: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in blkcg_unpin_online+0x15a/0x270 Read of size 8 at addr ffff8881057678c0 by task kworker/9:1/117 CPU: 9 UID: 0 PID: 117 Comm: kworker/9:1 Not tainted 6.13.0-rc1-work-00182-gb8f52214c61a-dirty #48 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS unknown 02/02/2022 Workqueue: cgwb_release cgwb_release_workfn Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x27/0x80 print_report+0x151/0x710 kasan_report+0xc0/0x100 blkcg_unpin_online+0x15a/0x270 cgwb_release_workfn+0x194/0x480 process_scheduled_works+0x71b/0xe20 worker_thread+0x82a/0xbd0 kthread+0x242/0x2c0 ret_from_fork+0x33/0x70 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1a/0x30 </TASK> ...
