CVE-2026-50638 9.1 critical 0.00% pevans, metrics\ Metrics::Any::Adapter::DogStatsd versions before 0.04 for Perl does not protect against metric injections. The statsd protocol (and extensions such as dogstatsd) allow mutiple metrics, separated by newlines, to be sent per packet. Metrics::Any::Adapter::DogStatsd which extends Metrics::Any::Adapter::Statsd, which has a similar vulnerability. In addition, the _tags function does not check tags for newlines or statsd control characters. The tags can be used for metric injections. 26 Oct
CVE-2026-55953 9.1 critical 0.00% erlang, erlang\/otp, erlang\/ssl The Erlang/OTP ssl TLS 1.2 (and earlier) and DTLS client does not verify that the cipher suite selected by the server in ServerHello was among the suites offered by the client in ClientHello. The client-side tls_handshake:hello/5 handler validates the negotiated protocol version and the downgrade sentinel but hands the server-chosen suite directly to ssl_handshake:handle_server_hello_extensions/9, which installs it without a membership check. The TLS 1.3 client path performs this check (per RFC 8446), so it is not affected. An on-path attacker between the client and the intended server can respond with a ServerHello selecting an anonymous key exchange suite such as TLS_DH_anon_* or TLS_ECDH_anon_* that the client never offered. Anonymous suites do not require the server to present a certificate, so the entire verify_peer and cacerts configuration is bypassed: the attacker completes the handshake with its own ephemeral parameters, no certificate is validated, no hostname is checked, and ssl:connect returns {ok, Socket}. All subsequent application traffic is readable and modifiable by the attacker. This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 27.3.4.15, from OTP 28.0 before OTP 28.5.0.4, and from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.4, corresponding to ssl from 5.3.4 before 11.2.12.11, from 11.3 before 11.6.0.4, and from 11.7 before 11.7.4. Whether OTP before OTP 17.0, corresponding to ssl before 5.3.4, is affected is unknown. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-46266 9.1 critical 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inet: RAW sockets using IPPROTO_RAW MUST drop incoming ICMP Yizhou Zhao reported that simply having one RAW socket on protocol IPPROTO_RAW (255) was dangerous. socket(AF_INET, SOCK_RAW, 255); A malicious incoming ICMP packet can set the protocol field to 255 and match this socket, leading to FNHE cache changes. inner = IP(src="192.168.2.1", dst="8.8.8.8", proto=255)/Raw("TEST") pkt = IP(src="192.168.1.1", dst="192.168.2.1")/ICMP(type=3, code=4, nexthopmtu=576)/inner "man 7 raw" states: A protocol of IPPROTO_RAW implies enabled IP_HDRINCL and is able to send any IP protocol that is specified in the passed header. Receiving of all IP protocols via IPPROTO_RAW is not possible using raw sockets. Make sure we drop these malicious packets. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-90230 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet: fix heap out-of-bounds read in nvmet_auth_negotiate() nvmet_execute_auth_send() allocates the DH-HMAC-CHAP message buffer with the host-supplied transfer length (tl) and hands it to nvmet_auth_negotiate() without passing tl along. nvmet_auth_negotiate() then reads the negotiate header and, for each of the halen hash identifiers and dhlen DH group identifiers, indexes into the fixed idlist[60] array (hashes at idlist[0..halen), groups at idlist[30..]). Neither the transfer length nor halen/dhlen is validated. A malicious or non-conformant host can report a tl smaller than the negotiate structure, or a halen/dhlen larger than the array (both are u8, up to 255), making the loops read past the end of the allocated buffer (heap out-of-bounds read). The sibling nvmet_auth_reply() already validates tl against the structure size; the negotiate path did not. Pass tl into nvmet_auth_negotiate(), reject a tl that does not cover the negotiate data plus one full protocol descriptor, and reject halen/dhlen larger than NVME_AUTH_DHCHAP_MAX_DH_IDS. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-73256 9.1 critical 0.00% cesanta, mongoose Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.22, a remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit an HTTP/1.0 reverse-proxy deployment by sending a request with Transfer-Encoding: chunked and conflicting framing. The http_cb() function in src/http.c tests hm.proto.len with an impossible greater-than-eight condition even though mg_http_parse() requires an eight-byte protocol string, so is_http_1_0 is never set. Mongoose consequently processes chunked encoding that an HTTP/1.0 proxy can ignore, enabling request smuggling and unauthorized access or state changes. This issue is fixed in version 7.22. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-82334 9.1 critical 0.00% ibm, guardium_data_protection IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.0, 12.1, 12.2 is vulnerable to a heap-based out-of-bounds read in the TDS7 LOGIN7 protocol parser. A remote attacker could send a specially crafted TDS LOGIN7 packet containing invalid offset or length values, potentially causing information disclosure or denial of service. 10 Oct
