CVE-2026-40682 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, opennlp XML External Entity (XXE) via Unsanitized Dictionary Parsing in Apache OpenNLP DictionaryEntryPersistor Versions Affected: before 2.5.9, before 3.0.0-M3 Description: The DictionaryEntryPersistor class initializes a static SAXParserFactory at class-load time without enabling FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING or disabling DTD processing. When create(InputStream, EntryInserter) is invoked, the only feature set on the XMLReader is namespace support — external entity resolution and DOCTYPE declarations remain fully enabled. An attacker who can supply a crafted dictionary file (e.g., a stop-word list or domain dictionary) containing a malicious DOCTYPE declaration can trigger local file disclosure via file:// entity references or server-side request forgery via http:// entity references during SAX parsing, before the application processes a single dictionary entry. This is inconsistent with the project's own XmlUtil.createSaxParser() helper, which correctly sets FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING and disallow-doctype-decl and is used by all other XML parsing paths in the codebase. The public Dictionary(InputStream) constructor delegates directly to this method and is the documented API for loading user-supplied dictionaries, making untrusted input a realistic scenario. Mitigation: 2.x users should upgrade to 2.5.9. 3.x users should upgrade to 3.0.0-M3. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should ensure that all dictionary files are sourced from trusted origins and should consider wrapping the Dictionary(InputStream) constructor with input validation that rejects any XML containing a DOCTYPE declaration before it reaches the parser. CVE-2026-40010 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, wicket Missing invocation of Servlet http web request method changeSessionId after session binding can be exploited for a session fixation attack in Apache Wicket. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 8.0.0 through 8.17.0, 9.0.0, from 10.0.0 through 10.8.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 10.9.0, which fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-5081 9.1 critical 0.00% chorny, apache\ Apache::Session::Generate::ModUniqueId versions from 1.54 through 1.94 for Perl session ids are insecure. Apache::Session::Generate::ModUniqueId (added in version 1.54) uses the value of the UNIQUE_ID environment variable for the session id. The UNIQUE_ID variable is set by the Apache mod_unique_id plugin, which generates unique ids for the request. The id is based on the IPv4 address, the process id, the epoch time, a 16-bit counter and a thread index, with no obfuscation. The server IP is often available to the public, and if not available, can be guessed from previous session ids being issued. The process ids may also be guessed from previous session ids. The timestamp is easily guessed (and leaked in the HTTP Date response header). The purpose of mod_unique_id is to assign a unique id to requests so that events can be correlated in different logs. The id is not designed, nor is it suitable for security purposes. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41258 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet OpenMRS is an open source electronic medical record system platform. From 2.7.0 to before 2.7.9 and 2.8.6, the ConceptReferenceRangeUtility.evaluateCriteria() method in OpenMRS Core evaluates database-stored criteria strings as Apache Velocity templates without any sandbox configuration. The VelocityEngine is initialized with only logging properties and noSecureUberspector, leaving the default UberspectImpl in place, which allows unrestricted Java reflection through template expressions. A user with the Manage Concepts privilege can store a malicious Velocity template expression in a concept's reference range criteria field. This payload is then executed automatically whenever a user or API call validates an observation against the affected concept. The Velocity context exposes $patient (the Person / Patient object), $obs (the Obs object), and $fn (the ConceptReferenceRangeUtility instance with access to the full OpenMRS service layer). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.7.9 and 2.8.6. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-32967 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, dolphinscheduler Incorrect Authorization vulnerability of `/v2` experimental interface in Apache DolphinScheduler. This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.2. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.2, which fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-63687 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, cxf Apache CXF's JwtRequestCodeFilter copies all claims from a signed request JWT into the authorization parameter map without excluding security-sensitive parameters. A client that can produce a validly-signed request JWT (e.g., one whose client_secret is known or compromised) can thereby substitute the code_challenge, code_challenge_method, nonce, and state values that were set in the outer HTTP request, undermining PKCE integrity and OpenID Connect replay protection. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.3 or 4.1.8 or 3.6.12, which fix this issue. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-65583 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, cxf Apache CXF’s OIDC relying-party token validation could accept self-issued ID tokens without enforcing required claim checks (issuer/subject/audience/time and sub_jwk binding), enabling authentication bypass with crafted tokens. However, note that self-issued ID tokens are not accepted by default in the validator. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.3 or 4.1.8 or 3.6.12, which fixes this issue. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-32327 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, apr-util A bug in APR-util version 1.6.3 (and earlier) allows a stack recursion attack against any library consumer which parses XML from untrusted sources and uses the apr_xml_quote_elem() function. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.6.4, which fixes this issue. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-71290 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, httpclient Improper TLS hostname verification vulnerability in Apache HttpComponents Client 5.4 or newer. HostnameVerificationPolicy#BUILTIN setting has no effect when used with the async version of HttpClient. An attacker that can intercept and modify traffic between the client and the server can impersonate the server by presenting a valid certificate for a different domain. Please note the classic version of HttpClient is not affected by this vulnerability. Affected users are recommended to upgrade to at least version 5.6.4, which fixes the issue. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-48144 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, thrift Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch vulnerability in Apache Thrift c_glib bindings. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.24.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.24.0, which fixes the issue. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-101356 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Incorrect object recycling and re-use vulnerability in Apache Tomcat affecting HTTP/2 processing of asynchronous servlets can trigger request and/or response mix-up between users. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.22 through 11.0.26, from 10.1.55 through 10.1.60, from 9.0.118 through 9.0.122. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.27, 10.1.61 or 9.0.123, which fixes the issue. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-107460 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) protection in the UrlImageConverter component of Apache Fesod (Incubating) fesod-sheet 2.0.2-incubating can be bypassed through DNS rebinding. When an application accepts an attacker-controlled image URL for spreadsheet writing, the converter checks the hostname's resolved IP addresses and then opens a separate connection that can resolve the hostname again. An attacker who controls DNS responses for the URL hostname may cause the connection to reach a restricted address after validation. CVE-2026-49328 covers SSRF in releases before 2.0.2-incubating; this issue is a DNS rebinding bypass of the protection in 2.0.2-incubating. Apache Fesod (Incubating) 2.1.0-incubating addresses the reported default-fetch scenario by disabling remote URL image fetching by default and requiring an explicit exact-host allowlist when the feature is enabled. Users should upgrade to 2.1.0-incubating. Applications enabling remote URL image fetching should allowlist only hostnames whose DNS and HTTP services are trusted. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-63619 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Missing Authorization vulnerability in Apache Kylin. A backend metadata dump API misses the enough authorization and the path-confinement. Impact most to the kylin services that are directly exposed to public network, which is not common. In-house kylin deployments are mostly not impacted. This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 4 through 5.0.4. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.5, which fixes the issue. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-97468 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, cxf Apache CXF's STSTokenValidator and Security Token Service (STS) cached validated security tokens under a non-cryptographic 32-bit hash of the token (Java Arrays.hashCode/hashCode()), and treated a cache hit as proof that the presented token had already been validated. An attacker could craft a token (for example a UsernameToken or a self-signed SAML Assertion) whose hash collides with a cached entry. The token would then be accepted without password validation, signature trust verification or a call to the STS. This could let the attacker authenticate as another user and, through STS token validation or renewal, obtain STS-signed tokens for that identity. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-92120 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet OAuth1 Request Replay Attack vulnerability in Apache Allura. This issue affects Apache Allura: through 1.21.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.22.0 which fixes the issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-92119 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet REST API Mass Assignment vulnerability in Apache Allura. This issue affects Apache Allura: through 1.21.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.22.0, which fixes the issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-92116 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet OAuth1 callback validation vulnerability in Apache Allura. This issue affects Apache Allura: through 1.21.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.22.0, which fixes the issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-85499 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Authorization vulnerability in Apache SkyWalking BanyanDB. The Canopy includes incomplete proof-of-concept role and monitoring-proxy functionality. Under a non-default configuration with a readonly Canopy user and a reachable monitoring target, that user can send non-read requests through the monitoring proxy. This issue affects Apache SkyWalking BanyanDB: from 0.11.0 before 0.11.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.11.1, which fixes the issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-107938 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, cxf In Apache CXF, the Netty-based HTTP client transport (cxf-rt-transports-http-netty-client) did not verify that the hostname in the server’s TLS certificate matched the host being called. This applied over both HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2, even when disableCNCheck was left at its default value of false. The certificate chain was validated against the configured trust store, but the endpoint’s identity was not. A network attacker able to intercept traffic could present any certificate trusted by the client, such as a publicly issued certificate for a domain they control, and impersonate the target service. They could then read or modify the exchanged messages, including credentials. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-71575 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, cxf The max_age authentication-freshness check in OidcClientCodeRequestFilter was inoperative due to a milliseconds/seconds unit mismatch and an inverted comparison polarity. Any relying party using setMaxAgeOffset to enforce re-authentication would silently accept sessions of any age, bypassing step-up authentication policies. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-103635 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Out-of-bounds read in the compact Theta sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp). compact_theta_sketch::deserialize() and wrapped_compact_theta_sketch::wrap() read header fields before checking that the input was long enough. For the compressed format, the size check could be defeated by a 32-bit overflow, and two header fields that control decoding were not validated; this also affected deserialization from a stream. A crafted or truncated sketch could cause a read past the end of the input. In the compressed case the over-read can be large, and the bytes read can become part of the deserialized sketch. This can cause a crash (denial of service) and could expose adjacent memory contents. This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 3.1.0 before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize Theta sketches from untrusted sources are affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-31986 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, ofbiz Use of Hard-coded Cryptographic Key vulnerability in Apache OFBiz. This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 24.09.06. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.06, which fixes the issue. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-41919 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, ofbiz Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an LDAP Query ('LDAP Injection') vulnerability in Apache OFBiz. This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 24.09.06. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.06, which fixes the issue. 14 Oct
