CVE-2026-59243exploit ×2 9.8 critical 1.0% apache, apache-airflow-providers-fab The FAB auth manager's Azure AD OAuth login defaulted `verify_signature=False` when decoding the ID token, so an attacker able to present a forged or unsigned (`alg:none`) ID token to the OAuth callback could bypass authentication and log in as an arbitrary user, including one holding the Admin role (CWE-347). Deployments running the FAB auth manager with the Azure AD OAuth login path under its default configuration are affected; the Authentik path already defaulted to `True`. This issue affects `apache-airflow-providers-fab` before 3.7.3. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow-providers-fab` 3.7.3, which defaults `verify_signature=True`. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-94134exploit 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet The Apache Airflow SSH provider hook disables SSH host-key verification by default: unless `host_key` is configured or `no_host_key_check` is explicitly set to false, it accepts any server key. This affects SSH and SFTP connections that rely on the default. An attacker in a machine-in-the-middle position between the worker and the SSH or SFTP server can impersonate the server and capture the credentials or data a task sends. Users of apache-airflow-providers-ssh and apache-airflow-providers-sftp are recommended to upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-ssh 7.0.0 and apache-airflow-providers-sftp 7.0.0 or later. The deferrable SFTP code paths had the same default and are covered separately by CVE-2026-94135; apache-airflow-providers-sftp 7.0.0 fixes both. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-33264 9.8 critical 2.0% apache, airflow A bug in `BaseSerialization.deserialize()` allowed unrestricted `import_string()` of attacker-controlled class paths when the Scheduler / API Server loaded a serialized DAG: a DAG author could embed a malicious trigger into a DAG to gain remote code execution on the API Server / Scheduler process, crossing the Airflow security boundary that DAG-author code must never execute in those processes. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow` 3.3.0 or later. As a defense-in-depth mitigation, deployments where DAG-author trust is limited can restrict the `[core] allowed_deserialization_classes` config to a narrow allowlist. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-50203 9.1 critical 1.0% apache, apache-airflow-providers-sftp A path traversal in the SFTP provider (`SFTPHook.retrieve_directory` / `SFTPOperator(operation=get)`) let a malicious or compromised remote SFTP server write files outside the configured local destination directory via crafted directory-entry names. No Airflow account is required — the attack surface is any deployment downloading directories from an untrusted SFTP server. Upgrade `apache-airflow-providers-sftp` to 5.8.1 or later. Mon 26 Oct
