| CVE-2026-75128 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Langchain-Chatchat through 0.3.1.3 exposes a POST /tools/call API endpoint that invokes any registered tool by name without authentication, leaving the always-registered shell tool callable. Remote attackers can send a single request naming the shell tool to execute arbitrary OS commands as the server user (root in the shipped Docker image). | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2025-68665 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | langchain, langchain.js, langchain\/core | LangChain is a framework for building LLM-powered applications. Prior to @langchain/core versions 0.3.80 and 1.1.8, and prior to langchain versions 0.3.37 and 1.2.3, a serialization injection vulnerability exists in LangChain JS's toJSON() method (and subsequently when string-ifying objects using JSON.stringify(). The method did not escape objects with 'lc' keys when serializing free-form data in kwargs. The 'lc' key is used internally by LangChain to mark serialized objects. When user-controlled data contains this key structure, it is treated as a legitimate LangChain object during deserialization rather than plain user data. This issue has been patched in @langchain/core versions 0.3.80 and 1.1.8, and langchain versions 0.3.37 and 1.2.3 | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40190 | 9.8 critical | 0.00% | langchain, langsmith | LangSmith Client SDKs provide SDK's for interacting with the LangSmith platform. Prior to 0.5.18, the LangSmith JavaScript/TypeScript SDK (langsmith) contains an incomplete prototype pollution fix in its internally vendored lodash set() utility. The baseAssignValue() function only guards against the __proto__ key, but fails to prevent traversal via constructor.prototype. This allows an attacker who controls keys in data processed by the createAnonymizer() API to pollute Object.prototype, affecting all objects in the Node.js process. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.5.18. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-119978 | 9.0 critical | 0.00% | flowiseai, flowise | Flowise through 3.1.4 contains a sandbox escape vulnerability that allows authenticated users to execute OS commands by abusing allowlisted langchain and mammoth modules when ALLOW_BUILTIN_DEP=true. Attackers can submit JavaScript to /api/v1/node-custom-function that writes a file into the mammoth package via LocalFileStore and requires it, escaping vm2 as the Flowise process user. | Fri 30 Oct |
