CVE-2026-76010 8.8 high — smub, photo gallery, sliders, proofing and themes – nextgen gallery The Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes – NextGEN Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.1 via the render_image function. This is due to unrestricted mass assignment of caller-supplied meta_data keys onto the image model combined with missing realpath containment in path construction and a bypassable signature check on the public image delivery route. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to execute code on the server. Exploitation requires the authenticated attacker to own at least one NextGEN gallery — a condition that can be satisfied by any Subscriber who was ever granted the 'NextGEN Manage gallery' capability, and that access is retained indefinitely due to the stored gallery-author equality fallback in _can_manage_gallery() even after the capability is revoked. 14 h ago
CVE-2026-120203 8.7 high — showdoc ShowDoc 2.8.14 before 3.9.6 contains a code injection vulnerability in its Mock feature that allows authenticated users to execute shell commands through mockjs templates. Attackers can store a template via MockController::add with escaped parentheses that mockjs evaluates with eval(), then trigger it through MockController::infoByKey to run commands, as root in the official Docker image. 6 h ago
CVE-2026-120208 7.7 high — strukturag, libheif libheif 1.18.0 before 1.23.3 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in unc_decoder_mixed_interleave::processTile() that allows attackers to write out of bounds by supplying chroma components with unequal bit depths. Attackers can craft a HEIF file declaring, for example, 16-bit Cb and 8-bit Cr to trigger file-controlled heap writes past the Cr plane, potentially achieving code execution in image-processing pipelines. 6 h ago
CVE-2026-63121 6.3 medium — kubewarden, policies Kubewarden policies is a collection of WebAssembly policies for securing and governing Kubernetes clusters. For versions provisionally classified as affected before 2.1.2, `trusted-repos-policy` compares an image's `registry` hostname against `reject lists` and `allow lists` case-sensitively even though `registry` DNS names are case-insensitive. An image with an uppercase or mixed-case `registry` hostname can miss a rejection rule for the equivalent lowercase host, so the admission policy accepts a resource whose container runtime pulls the same prohibited image. Only reject-list configurations have this bypass: allow-list configurations fail closed by over-denying differently cased hostnames. The security consequences depend on the configured rejection policy and deployment environment. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.2. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-110251 5.4 medium — villatheme, revopic – photo reviews for woocommerce The Photo Reviews for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized Media Library File Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.31. This is due to the `delete_reviews_image()` function's `delete_comment` hook trusting attachment IDs supplied via the `wcpr_image_upload_id` POST parameter that were stored in comment meta without any ownership or capability check — `viwcpr_filter_review_image_ids()` verifies only that each submitted ID refers to an attachment post type, not that the submitter uploaded or owns it. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete any WordPress media library attachment — including its files on disk as recorded by `wp_delete_attachment()` — by embedding attacker-chosen attachment IDs into a review comment, then waiting for a moderator to remove the review or for WordPress core's `wp_scheduled_delete` cron to purge it after `EMPTY_TRASH_DAYS`. The nonce required to submit the parameter (`wcpr_image_upload`) is a shared public value printed on every product page for guest commenters and does not function as an authentication barrier, making this trivially exploitable without any account. 16 h ago
CVE-2025-11455 4.3 medium — tigroumeow, perfect images: regenerate thumbnails, image sizes, webp & avif The Perfect Images plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the /wp-json/wp-retina-2x/v1/replace REST API in all versions up to, and including, 7.2.0 This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to replace files that do not belong to them. 15 h ago
CVE-2026-118438 unscored — unknown, firelight lightbox The Firelight Lightbox WordPress plugin before 2.3.24 does not properly escape image attribute values before processing them in the browser, which could allow users with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when another user views or previews the affected content. 17 h ago
