CVE-2021-3199KEV 9.8 critical 30.0% onlyoffice, document_server Directory traversal with remote code execution can occur in /upload in ONLYOFFICE Document Server before 5.6.3, when JWT is used, via a /.. sequence in an image upload parameter. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-33626exploit 7.5 high 45.0% internlm, lmdeploy LMDeploy is a toolkit for compressing, deploying, and serving large language models. Versions prior to 0.12.3 have a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in LMDeploy's vision-language module. The `load_image()` function in `lmdeploy/vl/utils.py` fetches arbitrary URLs without validating internal/private IP addresses, allowing attackers to access cloud metadata services, internal networks, and sensitive resources. Version 0.12.3 patches the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-35029exploit 8.7 high 39.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.83.0, the /config/update endpoint does not enforce admin role authorization. A user who is already authenticated into the platform can then use this endpoint to modify proxy configuration and environment variables, register custom pass-through endpoint handlers pointing to attacker-controlled Python code, achieving remote code execution, read arbitrary server files by setting UI_LOGO_PATH and fetching via /get_image, and take over other privileged accounts by overwriting UI_USERNAME and UI_PASSWORD environment variables. Fixed in v1.83.0. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-46333exploit ×6 7.1 high 4.0% linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ptrace: slightly saner 'get_dumpable()' logic The 'dumpability' of a task is fundamentally about the memory image of the task - the concept comes from whether it can core dump or not - and makes no sense when you don't have an associated mm. And almost all users do in fact use it only for the case where the task has a mm pointer. But we have one odd special case: ptrace_may_access() uses 'dumpable' to check various other things entirely independently of the MM (typically explicitly using flags like PTRACE_MODE_READ_FSCREDS). Including for threads that no longer have a VM (and maybe never did, like most kernel threads). It's not what this flag was designed for, but it is what it is. The ptrace code does check that the uid/gid matches, so you do have to be uid-0 to see kernel thread details, but this means that the traditional "drop capabilities" model doesn't make any difference for this all. Make it all make a *bit* more sense by saying that if you don't have a MM pointer, we'll use a cached "last dumpability" flag if the thread ever had a MM (it will be zero for kernel threads since it is never set), and require a proper CAP_SYS_PTRACE capability to override. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-5524exploit 9.8 critical 3.0% no CPE yet The Divi Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload leading to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to and including 5.1.8. This is due to insufficient file extension validation in the do_image_upload() function where user-supplied input from the acceptFileTypes POST parameter is directly interpolated into a regular expression used to validate uploaded files. Attackers can specify PHP-executable extensions such as .phtml, .phar, .php5, or .php7 to bypass the plugin's .htaccess protection which only blocks .php files specifically. Additionally, on Nginx-based servers, the .htaccess protection is completely ineffective as Nginx does not process .htaccess files. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers (who can obtain a nonce from any public page containing a form) to upload executable PHP files to the publicly accessible /wp-content/uploads/de_fb_uploads/ directory and achieve Remote Code Execution by accessing the uploaded file via HTTP. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 5.1.3. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-20896exploit ×8 9.8 critical 3.0% no CPE yet Gitea Docker image versions up to and including 1.26.2 use REVERSE_PROXY_TRUSTED_PROXIES=* by default, allowing any source IP to impersonate a user when reverse-proxy authentication headers such as X-WEBAUTH-USER are enabled. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-91136exploit 7.5 high 3.0% no CPE yet The Divi Plus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in versions up to, and including, 2.4.0 via the 'svg_image' parameter of the /wp-json/elicus/v1/dipl-modules/svg-animator REST endpoint. This is due to the endpoint's permission callback (SVGAnimatorController::index_permission) returning true unconditionally combined with insufficient validation of the 'svg_image' input — sanitize_text_field() and esc_html() do not restrict filesystem paths, the file:// stream wrapper, or arbitrary URLs — before it is passed to file_get_contents() (with a wp_remote_get() fallback) and the raw response body is returned in the JSON 'html' field. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. 13 Oct
CVE-2025-34282exploit ×2 6.9 medium 2.0% thingsboard ThingsBoard versions < 4.2.1 contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the dashboard's Image Upload Gallery feature. An attacker can upload a malicious SVG file that references a remote URL. If the server processes the SVG file in a way that parses external references, it may initiate unintended outbound requests. This can be used to access internal services or resources. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-102785exploit ×4 10.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Joomla Extension - yootheme.com - Unauthenticated remote code execution in YOOtheme Pro 5.0.0-5.0.52 - YOOtheme Pro’s publicly accessible image transformation handler incompletely binds normalized image operations and the output destination to its request signature. An unauthenticated remote attacker can reuse a signature disclosed in a legitimate public image URL, inject additional image operations, traverse out of the intended cache directory, and write an attacker-controlled PNG/PHP polyglot to an executable public media directory. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-103889exploit 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet The 3D Product configurator for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.16.2 via the 'xpv_image' parameter parameter. This is due to missing authentication and nonce checks on the wp_loaded handler combined with no sanitization of the xpv_image POST parameter before it is echoed unescaped into a Dompdf-rendered HTML template with PHP execution enabled. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. The only nonce and authentication check in the handler is entirely enclosed in a block comment with no replacement, making the endpoint reachable via a single unauthenticated POST to any URL on the site. 13 Oct
CVE-2025-11391exploit ×2 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet The PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the image cropper functionality in all versions up to, and including, 33.0.15. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. While the vulnerable code is in the free version, this only affected users with the paid version of the software installed and activated. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-71960exploit 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Cudy WR3000 2.0 running firmware before 2.5.24 contains a hard-coded JWT HMAC signing secret vulnerability in the Mosquitto MQTT broker's authentication plugin that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge valid JWT tokens by extracting the secret from the firmware image. Attackers can use the extracted secret to craft arbitrary JWT tokens and authenticate to the MQTT broker without legitimate credentials, gaining unauthorized access to the device's mesh networking interface. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-64824exploit 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Home Assistant Core before 2026.7.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the backup-restore function that allows attackers to write files to arbitrary absolute filesystem paths by supplying a crafted tar archive with a SYMTYPE entry containing a benign member name paired with an absolute linkname pointing outside the extraction directory. Because the official Docker image runs the Home Assistant process as root and the subsequent regular-file entry is written through the unvalidated symlink, attackers can achieve remote code execution by overwriting auto-imported Python paths such as site-packages/sitecustomize.py or custom component directories. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-68771exploit ×2 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet ComfyUI v0.23.0 contains an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in the LoadTrainingDataset node that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary Python code by uploading a crafted pickle file and triggering its deserialization. Attackers can upload a malicious shard_*.pkl file via the unauthenticated POST /upload/image endpoint and then queue a workflow graph via POST /prompt referencing the uploaded file, causing torch.load to deserialize the attacker-controlled pickle payload using __reduce__ and execute arbitrary commands as the ComfyUI process user. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-62821exploit 9.1 critical 1.0% microsoft, heif_image_extension Microsoft HEIF Image Extensions 1.2.22.0 has an out-of-bounds read because CHEIFItemInfoEntry_GetDataSize can return success while leaving the reported data size as 0. This causes a caller to make a 1-byte allocation. Later, CopyPixels computes copy_size = stride * abs(roi_height) but does not check the source buffer length before a memmove call. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-66917exploit 8.6 high 1.0% no CPE yet Joomla Extension - joomgalleryfriends.net - Stored XSS in JoomGallery < 4.4.0 - An authenticated, privileged can store an XSS payload in any image causing JS execution in every visitor's browser. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-25524exploit 8.1 high 1.0% openmage, magento Magento Long Term Support (LTS) is an unofficial, community-driven project provides an alternative to the Magento Community Edition e-commerce platform with a high level of backward compatibility. Prior to version 20.17.0, PHP functions such as `getimagesize()`, `file_exists()`, and `is_readable()` can trigger deserialization when processing `phar://` stream wrapper paths. OpenMage LTS uses these functions with potentially controllable file paths during image validation and media handling. An attacker who can upload a malicious phar file (disguised as an image) and trigger one of these functions with a `phar://` path can achieve arbitrary code execution. Version 20.17.0 patches the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-12973exploit 7.2 high 1.0% no CPE yet The S2B AI Assistant – ChatBot, ChatGPT, OpenAI, Content & Image Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the storeFile() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.8. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-22187exploit 6.8 medium 1.0% openmicroscopy, bio-formats Bio-Formats versions up to and including 8.3.0 perform unsafe Java deserialization of attacker-controlled memoization cache files (.bfmemo) during image processing. The loci.formats.Memoizer class automatically loads and deserializes memo files associated with images without validation, integrity checks, or trust enforcement. An attacker who can supply a crafted .bfmemo file alongside an image can trigger deserialization of untrusted data, which may result in denial of service, logic manipulation, or potentially remote code execution in environments where suitable gadget chains are present on the classpath. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-13380exploit 6.5 medium 1.0% no CPE yet The AI Engine for WordPress: ChatGPT, GPT Content Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.1. This is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied file paths in the 'lqdai_update_post' AJAX endpoint and the use of file_get_contents() with user-controlled URLs without protocol restrictions in the insert_image() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-58226exploit 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data vulnerability in iberezansky 3D FlipBook – PDF Flipbook Viewer, Flipbook Image Gallery interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This issue affects 3D FlipBook – PDF Flipbook Viewer, Flipbook Image Gallery: from n/a through <= 1.16.16. 11 Oct
CVE-2026-47172exploit 9.5 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Quest Bot is an opensource modern Discord Bot built for moderation, utilities and support. Prior to version 1.0.3, the repository has a privileged deploy workflow that runs after the unprivileged build workflow completes. The build workflow runs on pull requests, and the deploy workflow checks out the triggering workflow’s head_sha, builds that code into a Docker image, pushes it as latest, and triggers production deployment. If an attacker can open a pull request from a branch named main, the deploy workflow condition can treat the PR build as deployable and build the attacker-controlled commit in a privileged deployment context. This can result in malicious container deployment and production bot compromise. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.3. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-40487exploit 9.0 critical 0.00% gitroom, postiz Postiz is an AI social media scheduling tool. Prior to version 2.21.6, a file upload validation bypass allows any authenticated user to upload arbitrary HTML, SVG, or other executable file types to the server by spoofing the `Content-Type` header. The uploaded files are then served by nginx with a Content-Type derived from their original extension (`text/html`, `image/svg+xml`), enabling Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the context of the application's origin. This can lead to session riding, account takeover, and full compromise of other users' accounts. Version 2.21.6 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-87690exploit 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Metasploit Framework post module post/apple_ios/gather/ios_image_gather is affected by a relative path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22). The module interpolates file names taken from a Meterpreter directory listing — data fully controlled by a hostile or tampered iOS device — directly into the local destination path passed to client.fs.file.download_file(), with no sanitization. The underlying stdapi sink (lib/rex/post/meterpreter/extensions/stdapi/fs/file.rb) writes to whatever path is supplied, so a listing entry such as ../../msfconsole.rc escapes the intended ~/.msf4/loot/<random> directory and overwrites ~/.msf4/msfconsole.rc, a resource file that every msfconsole invocation automatically executes at startup (lib/msf/ui/console/driver.rb:196). An attacker-controlled device that lures an operator into running this gather module achieves an arbitrary file write as the operator; because the written msfconsole.rc can load a second written file (a Ruby plugin whose top-level code runs on require), this converts into persistent code execution and an interactive shell as the operator (frequently root) on the pentester's workstation at the next console launch. The same traversal was previously fixed upstream in the recursive downloader (stdapi/fs/dir.rb scrubs separators); this module omitted the equivalent scrub. The fix applies the same separator scrub (or File.basename) to listing entries before building the local path. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-7574exploit 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Anthropic Claude Desktop Cowork VM image handling (confirmed across v1.1348.0 through v1.2278.0, including v1.1348.0, v1.1617.0, and v1.2278.0) validates only file presence and a version marker string before booting rootfs.img, but does not verify image content integrity at time-of-use. A local attacker with unprivileged code execution as the victim macOS user can modify the VM root filesystem image and have it trusted on subsequent Cowork VM boots, enabling persistent arbitrary code execution in the VM and access to host-mounted directories. The estimated CWE mapping is CWE-353 (Missing Support for Integrity Check). Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-71329exploit 8.7 high 0.00% image-size image-size through 2.0.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows remote attackers to permanently block the Node.js event loop by supplying a specially crafted image buffer with a zero-valued size field in a recognized box-type. Attackers can trigger an infinite loop in the JXL or HEIF image parsers by providing a crafted image containing a box with a size of zero, causing the offset to never advance and permanently hanging the application. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-100833exploit 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Contrast (edgelesssys/contrast) versions 1.14.0 before 1.23.1 generate runtime policies that fail to detect all container image substitutions. A bad rebase during a Kata Containers update accidentally introduced an `allow_storage` rule that accepts storage entries using the `image_guest_pull` driver without verifying the image digest. An attacker with access to the Kata agent API — for example, a Kubernetes cluster administrator in Contrast's threat model — can therefore substitute a container image with an exploit payload, provided the substituted image satisfies the remaining policy rules, undermining the confidential container's integrity guarantees. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-96778exploit 7.7 high 0.00% python, pillow Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 9.4.0 until 13.0.0, ImagingJpegEncode() in src/libImaging/JpegEncode.c can call jpeg_write_marker() for a JPEG COM comment when an ICC profile has exactly filled the 65536-byte encoder buffer. libjpeg writes one byte before checking the exhausted free_in_buffer counter, which then wraps and permits the attacker-controlled comment and subsequent compressed image data to overwrite adjacent heap memory. Re-saving an untrusted image as JPEG while preserving its ICC profile and forwarded comment can crash the process and may enable code execution in suitable runtime and heap layouts. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-15469exploit 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The use of hard-coded cryptographic key vulnerability has been identified in the mesh functionality of Deco XE75 v3, XE5300 v3.6 and WE10800 v3.6. A shared RSA-512 mesh group private key is present in the affected firmware and is used by the mesh protocol for node authentication. An attacker who obtains the firmware image and has local network access may be able to authenticate as a mesh node without possessing a device-specific credential. Successful exploitation may allow an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to impersonate a trusted mesh node and bypass mesh node authentication, which may permit unauthorized changes to device or mesh configuration, affecting confidentiality, integrity and availability. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-28990exploit 7.5 high 0.00% apple, ipados, iphone_os, macos The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10, iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, macOS Sonoma 14.8.7, macOS Tahoe 26.5, tvOS 26.5, visionOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5. Processing a maliciously crafted image may corrupt process memory. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-64720exploit 7.1 high 0.00% libpng LIBPNG is a reference library for use in applications that read, create, and manipulate PNG (Portable Network Graphics) raster image files. From version 1.6.0 to before 1.6.51, an out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in png_image_read_composite when processing palette images with PNG_FLAG_OPTIMIZE_ALPHA enabled. The palette compositing code in png_init_read_transformations incorrectly applies background compositing during premultiplication, violating the invariant component ≤ alpha × 257 required by the simplified PNG API. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.51. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-65018exploit ×2 7.1 high 0.00% libpng LIBPNG is a reference library for use in applications that read, create, and manipulate PNG (Portable Network Graphics) raster image files. From version 1.6.0 to before 1.6.51, there is a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the libpng simplified API function png_image_finish_read when processing 16-bit interlaced PNGs with 8-bit output format. Attacker-crafted interlaced PNG files cause heap writes beyond allocated buffer bounds. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.51. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-13401exploit 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Autoptimize plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the LCP Image to preload metabox in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied image attributes in the "create_img_preload_tag" function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-42879exploit 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FacturaScripts is an open source accounting and invoicing software. In 2025.81 and earlier, an authenticated unrestricted file upload vulnerability exists in FacturaScripts' product image upload functionality. An attacker with valid credentials can upload a PHP file disguised as a GIF image (using a GIF89a header), bypassing MIME type validation. The file is stored with its original extension, including executable extensions such as .php. The vulnerability exists the addImageAction() method of Core/Lib/ExtendedController/ProductImagesTrait.php. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-55781exploit 2.4 low 0.00% no CPE yet NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. Prior to 6.5.1749.0, NanaZip's UFS and FFS image handler in NanaZip.Codecs.Archive.Ufs.cpp validates the superblock block size only against the MINBSIZE lower bound and does not validate the fs_fsize fragment size, allowing attacker-controlled 32-bit fields to flow into indirect-block, directory, and extraction buffer allocations. A tiny crafted UFS image can force multi-gigabyte allocations during open or extraction, causing memory exhaustion or process termination. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.1749.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-6111exploit 2.1 low 0.00% deepwisdom, metagpt A security flaw has been discovered in FoundationAgents MetaGPT up to 0.8.1. This impacts the function decode_image of the file metagpt/utils/common.py. The manipulation of the argument img_url_or_b64 results in server-side request forgery. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2016-0483 10.0 high 15.0% oracle, canonical, jdk, jre, jrockit Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE 6u105, 7u91, and 8u66; Java SE Embedded 8u65; and JRockit R28.3.8 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via vectors related to AWT. NOTE: the previous information is from the January 2016 CPU. Oracle has not commented on third-party claims that this is a heap-based buffer overflow in the readImage function, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted image data. 15 Oct
CVE-2025-9985 5.3 medium 12.0% no CPE yet The Featured Image from URL (FIFU) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.7 through publicly exposed log files. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view potentially sensitive information contained in the exposed log files. 11 Oct
CVE-2015-8126 7.5 high 10.0% libpng, fedoraproject, fedora, leap Multiple buffer overflows in the (1) png_set_PLTE and (2) png_get_PLTE functions in libpng before 1.0.64, 1.1.x and 1.2.x before 1.2.54, 1.3.x and 1.4.x before 1.4.17, 1.5.x before 1.5.24, and 1.6.x before 1.6.19 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a small bit-depth value in an IHDR (aka image header) chunk in a PNG image. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-67208 9.3 critical 7.0% no CPE yet Juggle through 1.6.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands by connecting to the exposed H2 database web console using default shipped credentials. Attackers can access the unprotected /h2-console endpoint, authenticate with default credentials, and leverage the H2 CREATE ALIAS Runtime.exec() technique to execute arbitrary commands, resulting in root-level code execution when running the stock Docker image. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-59951 9.2 critical 5.0% termix Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. The official Docker image for Termix versions 1.5.0 and below, due to being configured with an Nginx reverse proxy, causes the backend to retrieve the proxy's IP instead of the client's IP when using the req.ip method. This results in isLocalhost always returning True. Consequently, the /ssh/db/host/internal endpoint can be accessed directly without login or authentication. This endpoint records the system's stored SSH host information, including addresses, usernames, and passwords, posing an extremely high security risk. Users who use the official Termix docker image, build their own image using the official dockerfile, or utilize reverse proxy functionality will be affected by this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.0. 12 Oct

There is a heap-based buffer over-read of size 8 in the function jas_image_depalettize in libjasper/base/jas_image.c. 15 Oct
CVE-2016-10165 7.1 high 3.0% littlecms, canonical, little_cms_color_engine, ubuntu_linux, debian_linux The Type_MLU_Read function in cmstypes.c in Little CMS (aka lcms2) allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information or cause a denial of service via an image with a crafted ICC profile, which triggers an out-of-bounds heap read. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-107704 9.3 critical 2.0% no CPE yet The image_optimizer Ruby gem 1.3.0 through 1.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in ImageOptimizer#identify_format that allows attackers to execute commands by supplying a crafted image path when the identify option is enabled. Attackers controlling the path, such as an uploaded file name, can append shell metacharacters like ';' that are executed via Ruby backticks with the Ruby process privileges. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-41247 8.9 high 2.0% std42, elfinder elFinder is an open-source file manager for web, written in JavaScript using jQuery UI. Prior to 2.1.67, elFinder contains a command injection vulnerability in the resize command. The bg (background color) parameter is accepted from user input and passed through image resize/rotate processing. In configurations that use the ImageMagick CLI backend, this value is incorporated into shell command strings without sufficient escaping. An attacker able to invoke the resize command with a crafted bg value may achieve arbitrary command execution as the web server process user. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.67. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2019-19721 7.8 high 2.0% videolan, vlc_media_player An off-by-one error in the DecodeBlock function in codec/sdl_image.c in VideoLAN VLC media player before 3.0.9 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted image file. NOTE: this may be related to the SDL_Image product. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-71209 7.5 high 2.0% no CPE yet audiobookshelf's authentication-exemption check (server/routers/Auth.js) matches unauthenticated-allowed GET routes against req.path via a regex requiring a literal /items/:id/cover or /authors/:id/image shape, where req.path retains %2F sequences URL-encoded. CacheManager.handleCoverCache then joins this decoded value into a cache file path and streams the result before any database-backed ownership check. Sat 24 Oct
