CVE-2026-15343 8.6 high 1.0% no CPE yet A path traversal vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker who had code execution inside the Dependabot updater container to write files to arbitrary repository paths, including GitHub Actions workflow files under .github/workflows/ as the path validation did not check the effective path which the attacker could control through the dependency file's directory and symlink target. If the repository used a pull_request_target workflow or had auto-merge enabled, an injected workflow could execute with access to the repository's GitHub Actions secrets. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.22 and was fixed in versions 3.21.3, 3.20.5, 3.19.9, 3.18.12, 3.17.18. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-34176 8.5 high 1.0% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall When running in Appliance mode, an authenticated remote command injection vulnerability exists in an undisclosed iControl REST endpoint. A successful exploit can allow the attacker to cross a security boundary. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2024-9341 8.2 high 1.0% containers, redhat, common, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in Go. When FIPS mode is enabled on a system, container runtimes may incorrectly handle certain file paths due to improper validation in the containers/common Go library. This flaw allows an attacker to exploit symbolic links and trick the system into mounting sensitive host directories inside a container. This issue also allows attackers to access critical host files, bypassing the intended isolation between containers and the host system. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-59976 8.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet ConvertX is a self-hosted file conversion service. Prior to 0.18.0, the ImageMagick converter uses the unsanitized convert_to parameter to construct an output path. If an authenticated user, or an unauthenticated user when ConvertX is configured to allow unauthenticated access, uploads an extensionless image and supplies directory traversal sequences in convert_to through /convert, the constructed path escapes the intended output directory, allowing the attacker to write converted output to arbitrary container paths, potentially overwriting files or causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.0. 16 Oct
CVE-2025-9566 8.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet There's a vulnerability in podman where an attacker may use the kube play command to overwrite host files when the kube file container a Secrete or a ConfigMap volume mount and such volume contains a symbolic link to a host file path. In a successful attack, the attacker can only control the target file to be overwritten but not the content to be written into the file. Binary-Affected: podman Upstream-version-introduced: v4.0.0 Upstream-version-fixed: v5.6.1 8 Oct
CVE-2026-40711 8.0 high 1.0% no CPE yet Dell Dell Container Storage Modules, version(s) csi-powerstore v2.16.0, csi-unity v2.16.0, csi-powerflex v2.16.0, csi-powermax v2.16.0, contain(s) an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Command execution. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-34207 7.9 high 1.0% vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host prior to 22.0.1049 and Application prior to 20.0.2786 (VA and SaaS deployments) configure the SSH client within Docker instances with the following options: `UserKnownHostsFile=/dev/null`, `StrictHostKeyChecking=no`, and `ForwardAgent yes`. These settings disable verification of the remote host’s SSH key and automatically forward the developer’s SSH‑agent to any host that matches the configured wildcard patterns. As a result, an attacker who can reach a single compromised container can cause the container to connect to a malicious SSH server, capture the forwarded private keys, and use those keys for unrestricted lateral movement across the environment. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2024-027 — Insecure Secure Shell (SSH) Configuration. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-45152 7.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet uniget is a universal installer and updater for (container) tools. Prior to 0.27.1, a command injection vulnerability exists in uniget due to unsafe execution of the check field from metadata files using /bin/bash -c. Because the check field is loaded directly from untrusted JSON metadata without validation or sanitization, an attacker can craft malicious metadata that executes arbitrary shell commands on the victim’s system when common uniget operations such as describe, install, update, or inspect are performed. This vulnerability can lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running uniget. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.27.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49360 7.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Recce is a data-validation toolkit for enhanced dbt (data build tool) PR review. Prior to version 1.50.0, OSS server deployments that expose the server to an untrusted network without authentication are vulnerable to unauthenticated SQL execution through the query run API. When Recce is configured with a DuckDB-backed project, an attacker can use DuckDB filesystem primitives to read and write files accessible to the Recce server process. The impact depends on how Recce is deployed, but may include disclosure of local files, tampering with Recce/dbt artifacts, modification of browser-served static files leading to stored XSS, and modification of application files if those paths are writable. If Recce is run as root, file access occurs with root privileges inside that host or container. This issue has been patched in Recce `v1.50.0`. Users should upgrade to Recce `v1.50.0` or later. The patch restricts unsafe file read/write behavior for DuckDB-backed query execution and hardens the affected query path. Other warehouse adapters have also been reviewed for similar exposure. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should avoid exposing `recce server` to the public internet or any untrusted network. Recommended mitigations include enabling authentication or placing Recce behind an authenticated reverse proxy/VPN, running Recce as a non-root user, using a read-only application filesystem where possible, and ensuring that sensitive files or credentials are not available to the Recce process. 12 Oct
CVE-2024-3056 7.7 high 1.0% red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 7, red hat enterprise linux 8 A flaw was found in Podman. This issue may allow an attacker to create a specially crafted container that, when configured to share the same IPC with at least one other container, can create a large number of IPC resources in /dev/shm. The malicious container will continue to exhaust resources until it is out-of-memory (OOM) killed. While the malicious container's cgroup will be removed, the IPC resources it created are not. Those resources are tied to the IPC namespace that will not be removed until all containers using it are stopped, and one non-malicious container is holding the namespace open. The malicious container is restarted, either automatically or by attacker control, repeating the process and increasing the amount of memory consumed. With a container configured to restart always, such as `podman run --restart=always`, this can result in a memory-based denial of service of the system. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-6732 7.5 high 1.0% xmlsoft, redhat, libxml2, hardened_images, jboss_core_services A flaw was found in libxml2. This vulnerability occurs when the library processes a specially crafted XML Schema Definition (XSD) validated document that includes an internal entity reference. An attacker could exploit this by providing a malicious document, leading to a type confusion error that causes the application to crash. This results in a denial of service (DoS), making the affected system or application unavailable. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-7461 7.5 high 1.0% amazon, amazon_ecs_container_agent Improper neutralization of inputs used in an OS command in the FSx Windows File Server volume mounting component in Amazon ECS Agent on Windows before version 1.103.0 might allow a remote authenticated threat actor to execute shell commands with SYSTEM privileges on the underlying host via a specially crafted username field in an ECS task definition. This issue requires permissions to register ECS task definitions or write to the Secrets Manager or SSM Parameter Store credentials used by the FSx volume configuration. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 1.103.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42009 7.5 high 1.0% gnu, redhat, gnutls, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit an issue in the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) packet reordering logic. The comparator function, responsible for ordering DTLS packets by sequence numbers, did not correctly handle packets with duplicate sequence numbers. This could lead to unstable packet ordering or undefined behavior, resulting in a denial of service. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44240 7.5 high 1.0% no CPE yet basic-ftp is an FTP client for Node.js. Prior to 5.3.1, basic-ftp is vulnerable to client-side denial of service when parsing FTP control-channel multiline responses. A malicious or compromised FTP server can send an unterminated multiline response during the initial FTP banner phase, before authentication. The client keeps appending attacker-controlled data into FtpContext._partialResponse and repeatedly reparses the accumulated buffer without enforcing a maximum control response size. As a result, an application using basic-ftp can remain stuck in connect() while memory and CPU usage grow under attacker-controlled input. This can lead to process-level denial of service, container OOM kills, worker restarts, queue backlog, or service degradation in applications that automatically connect to FTP endpoints. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.3.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-20191 7.5 high 1.0% cisco, catalyst_center, catalyst_center_global_manager A vulnerability in Cisco Catalyst Center could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to read arbitrary files from a restricted container.  This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read arbitrary files from a restricted container of the affected device. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-66626 7.5 high 1.0% argoproj, argo_workflows Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. Versions 3.6.13 and below and versions 3.7.0 through 3.7.4, contain unsafe untar code that handles symbolic links in archives. Concretely, the computation of a link's target and the subsequent check are flawed. An attacker can overwrite the file /var/run/argo/argoexec with a script of their choice, which would be executed at the pod's start. The patch deployed against CVE-2025-62156 is ineffective against malicious archives containing symbolic links. This issue is fixed in versions 3.6.14 and 3.7.5. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-5121 7.5 high 1.0% libarchive, redhat, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform A flaw was found in libarchive. On 32-bit systems, an integer overflow vulnerability exists in the zisofs block pointer allocation logic. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted ISO9660 image, which can lead to a heap buffer overflow. This could potentially allow for arbitrary code execution on the affected system. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-4424 7.5 high 1.0% libarchive, redhat, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform A flaw was found in libarchive. This heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RAR archive processing logic due to improper validation of the LZSS sliding window size after transitions between compression methods. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted RAR archive, leading to the disclosure of sensitive heap memory information without requiring authentication or user interaction. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-6021 7.5 high 1.0% xmlsoft, redhat, libxml2, jboss_core_services, openshift_container_platform A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input. 12 Oct
CVE-2025-7424 7.5 high 1.0% xmlsoft, redhat, libxslt, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in the libxslt library. The same memory field, psvi, is used for both stylesheet and input data, which can lead to type confusion during XML transformations. This vulnerability allows an attacker to crash the application or corrupt memory. In some cases, it may lead to denial of service or unexpected behavior. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-3833 7.4 high 1.0% gnu, redhat, gnutls, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform A flaw was found in gnutls. This vulnerability occurs because gnutls performs case-sensitive comparisons of `nameConstraints` labels, specifically for `dNSName` (DNS) or `rfc822Name` (email) constraints within `excludedSubtrees` or `permittedSubtrees`. A remote attacker can exploit this by crafting a leaf certificate with casing differences in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN), leading to a policy bypass where a certificate that should be rejected is instead accepted. This could result in unauthorized access or information disclosure. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-4953 7.4 high 1.0% no CPE yet A flaw was found in Podman. In a Containerfile or Podman, data written to RUN --mount=type=bind mounts during the podman build is not discarded. This issue can lead to files created within the container appearing in the temporary build context directory on the host, leaving the created files accessible. 14 Oct
CVE-2024-8676 7.4 high 1.0% no CPE yet A vulnerability was found in CRI-O, where it can be requested to take a checkpoint archive of a container and later be asked to restore it. When it does that restoration, it attempts to restore the mounts from the restore archive instead of the pod request. As a result, the validations run on the pod spec, verifying that the pod has access to the mounts it specifies are not applicable to a restored container. This flaw allows a malicious user to trick CRI-O into restoring a pod that doesn't have access to host mounts. The user needs access to the kubelet or cri-o socket to call the restore endpoint and trigger the restore. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-12005 7.2 high 1.0% ibm, security_verify_access, verify_identity_access, verify_identity_access_container IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 and IBM Verify Identity Access Container 11.0 through 11.0.3 contains a input validation vulnerability in the management interface that allows already privileged attackers to execute additional operations by crafting a malicious HTTP request. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-63133 7.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet Malcolm is a network traffic analysis tool suite. Prior to version 26.07.0, `safe-extract.py` extracts uploaded archives with no limit on entry count, directory depth, total entries, or output size. A small malicious archive containing a large number of directory or file entries causes the filebeat processing container to create an unbounded number of filesystem objects, exhausting inodes or filesystem metadata and denying service to the processing pipeline and any service sharing the same mount. Version 26.07.0 fixes the issue. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-81028 6.9 medium 1.0% no CPE yet ZLMediaKit confines the downloadFile API to a configured set of root directories with a prefix comparison that does not account for directory boundaries. The configuration loader in server/WebApi.cpp builds each root with File::absolutePath("", item, true); because the relative-path argument is empty that helper returns the value without a trailing separator. The handler then accepts a requested path when start_with(file_path, root) holds, so a sibling directory whose name merely begins with the configured root string satisfies the test and is served. The only other guard rejects a path containing two dots, which this requires none of. The equivalent confinement check for the ordinary static file server in src/Http/HttpFileManager.cpp computes its root with a non-empty second argument, which appends the separator before comparing, and so is not affected. The endpoint requires the configured API secret, so this grants no privilege beyond what that secret already implies, but it reads files outside the directory the operator confined it to, and the reference container runs the server as root. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-39979 6.9 medium 1.0% jqlang, redhat, jq, ai_inference_server, ansible_automation_platform jq is a command-line JSON processor. In commits before 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f, the jv_parse_sized() API in libjq accepts a counted buffer with an explicit length parameter, but its error-handling path formats the input buffer using %s in jv_string_fmt(), which reads until a NUL terminator is found rather than respecting the caller-supplied length. This means that when malformed JSON is passed in a non-NUL-terminated buffer, the error construction logic performs an out-of-bounds read past the end of the buffer. The vulnerability is reachable by any libjq consumer calling jv_parse_sized() with untrusted input, and depending on memory layout, can result in memory disclosure or process termination. The issue has been patched in commit 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-24464 6.9 medium 1.0% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall When running in Appliance mode, a directory traversal vulnerability exists in an undisclosed iControl REST endpoint that may allow an authenticated attacker with administrator role privileges to cross a security boundary and delete files. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-54755 6.9 medium 1.0% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall A directory traversal vulnerability exists in TMUI that allows a highly privileged authenticated attacker to access files which are not limited to the intended files. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. 8 Oct
CVE-2024-5042 6.6 medium 1.0% no CPE yet A flaw was found in the Submariner project. Due to unnecessary role-based access control permissions, a privileged attacker can run a malicious container on a node that may allow them to steal service account tokens and further compromise other nodes and potentially the entire cluster. 14 Oct
CVE-2024-9676 6.5 medium 1.0% red hat, red hat enterprise linux 8, red hat enterprise linux 9, red hat enterprise linux 9.4 extended update support A vulnerability was found in Podman, Buildah, and CRI-O. A symlink traversal vulnerability in the containers/storage library can cause Podman, Buildah, and CRI-O to hang and result in a denial of service via OOM kill when running a malicious image using an automatically assigned user namespace (`--userns=auto` in Podman and Buildah). The containers/storage library will read /etc/passwd inside the container, but does not properly validate if that file is a symlink, which can be used to cause the library to read an arbitrary file on the host. 23 h ago
CVE-2026-1933 6.5 medium 1.0% redhat, samba, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in Samba’s handling of NTFS-style reparse points on shares configured with read only = yes. Due to missing SMB-layer access checks, authenticated users with underlying filesystem write permissions may create or delete reparse point metadata through SMB operations even on read-only exports. This could allow modification of SMB-visible file behavior, including converting files into symbolic links or other reparse point types. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-55653 6.5 medium 1.0% openbsd, redhat, openssh, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A malicious SSH server can exploit a double free vulnerability in the Diffie-Hellman Group Exchange (DH-GEX) client path. This occurs during FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) mode known-group validation when the client processes attacker-controlled DH-GEX group parameters. Successful exploitation leads to client-side process termination, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-12801 6.5 medium 1.0% redhat, linux-nfs, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux, nfs-utils A vulnerability was recently discovered in the rpc.mountd daemon in the nfs-utils package for Linux, that allows a NFSv3 client to escalate the privileges assigned to it in the /etc/exports file at mount time. In particular, it allows the client to access any subdirectory or subtree of an exported directory, regardless of the set file permissions, and regardless of any 'root_squash' or 'all_squash' attributes that would normally be expected to apply to that client. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-2340 6.5 medium 1.0% redhat, samba, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in Samba’s vfs_worm module. The module is intended to provide write-once, read-many (WORM) protections by preventing modification of files after a configurable grace period. Due to insufficient validation during rename operations, an authenticated user with write access to a share could overwrite a protected file by renaming a newly created file over the existing WORM-protected file. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-41184 6.0 medium 1.0% tigera, calico In Calico, the install-cni init container logs the rendered CNI configuration to standard output. When the configuration template uses the __SERVICEACCOUNT_TOKEN__ placeholder (Canal/Flannel-Calico deployments), the installer substitutes the live Kubernetes ServiceAccount bearer token before logging, exposing the token to any authenticated user with pods/log permission in the namespace with calico-node. The token holds patch privileges on pods/status, enabling annotation-based attacks against cluster workloads. The default kubeconfig-based authentication path is not affected. This is a direct regression of TTA-2018-001. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-71191 6.0 medium 1.0% no CPE yet In OpenStack Swift through 2.38.0, S3API middleware does not enforce that semantic x-amz-* headers are covered by the SigV4 signature on presigned URL requests. An attacker who obtains a presigned PUT URL can inject an unsigned X-Amz-Copy-Source header, causing Swift to perform a server-side copy from an arbitrary source object using the signer's authorization context. The attacker can read any object the signer has access to, provided the target project_id, container name, and object name are known. This affects all deployments using the default s3_acl=false configuration. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-18991 5.5 medium 1.0% no CPE yet A security vulnerability has been detected in nanocoai NanoClaw up to 2.0.64. This affects an unknown part of the file container/agent-runner/src/mcp-tools/core.ts of the component send_file. Such manipulation leads to path traversal. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. 23 Oct
CVE-2025-65200 5.4 medium 1.0% no CPE yet An issue was discovered in localstack 4.9.2 allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted content hosted on a web-accessable URL and when passed said URL in the the templateURL to the _localstack/cloudformation/deploy endpoint, the hosted content can get executed in the context of the docker container. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-93011 5.3 medium 1.0% red hat, red hat ceph storage 9, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 A flaw was found in dnsmasq. After a reduction of internal domain-name buffer sizes, the DNSSEC validator can write a few bytes past a name buffer when converting names to and from DNS wire format. An attacker who can cause the server to validate a crafted DNSSEC response may overwrite a small amount of adjacent heap metadata. DNSSEC support is not compiled in by default and must also be enabled at runtime. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-55605 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet DeepSeek MCP Server is an MCP server for DeepSeek V4. Starting in version 1.4.2 and prior to version 1.8.0, the self-hosted HTTP transport of `@arikusi/deepseek-mcp-server` exposes `POST /mcp` without any authentication: `createMcpExpressApp` is called without an `authProvider` and no middleware guards the route, so any network-reachable client can issue an unauthenticated `initialize` request and obtain a valid MCP session identifier. In reproduced testing against commit `5e1302171e99`, an unauthenticated client was able to initialize a session, enumerate tools, and invoke the local `deepseek_sessions` tool with no credentials. The same unauthenticated session also exposes `deepseek_chat`, whose handler uses the server-side `DEEPSEEK_API_KEY` when self-hosted deployments configure one. This issue applies to self-hosted HTTP mode, not the separately documented hosted BYOK endpoint in `README.md`, which expects an `Authorization: Bearer ...` header. Upstream self-hosted container assets enable HTTP mode by default (`Dockerfile`) and publish port `3000` (`docker-compose.yml`). Version 1.8.0 contains a patch for this issue. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-53457 5.1 medium 1.0% no CPE yet Blueprint Studio is a VS Code-like file editor for Home Assistant configuration files. Prior to 2.5.2, the legacy stateless terminal command execution path in custom_components/blueprint_studio/backend/terminal_manager.py accepted a cwd working-directory parameter and checked only whether the directory existed, without requiring it to remain inside the Home Assistant configuration directory. An administrator using the restricted terminal helper could select an existing directory outside the intended configuration boundary. Commands could then access or modify host paths permitted by the Home Assistant container and filesystem permissions, weakening the helper's expected filesystem restriction. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.2. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-3832 3.7 low 1.0% gnu, redhat, gnutls, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) response during a TLS handshake. Due to a logic error in how gnutls processes multi-record OCSP responses, a client with OCSP verification enabled may incorrectly accept a revoked server certificate, potentially leading to a compromise of trust. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-63692 10.0 critical 0.00% dell, container_storage_modules Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) a Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-63688 10.0 critical 0.00% dell, container_storage_modules Dell Container Storage Modules (CSM), versions prior to v1.18.0, contains a Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability in the csm-authorization-storage gRPC server. An unauthenticated remote attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access to storage backend administrator credentials for all registered storage arrays. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-47752 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Tugtainer is a self-hosted app for automating updates of Docker containers. Versions prior to 1.30.2 are vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) in the notification template feature. The `title_template` and `body_template` fields are rendered using an unsandboxed `jinja2.Environment`, allowing any authenticated user to execute arbitrary OS commands as root inside the container. Version 1.30.2 fixes the issue. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-105312 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet A Kubernetes tenant with create permission on Console custom resources can set spec.containers.api.spec.image to an arbitrary container image. The operator deploys this image into a pod whose ServiceAccount is bound via ClusterRoleBinding to a ClusterRole granting cluster-wide get/list/watch on all Strimzi CRDs (including KafkaUsers), patch on Kafkas/KafkaRebalances, and cluster-monitoring-view. The attacker's code reads the projected SA token and gains cross-tenant Strimzi control-plane read+write access. 20 Oct
CVE-2025-54469 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability was identified in NeuVector, where the enforcer used environment variables CLUSTER_RPC_PORT and CLUSTER_LAN_PORT to generate a command to be executed via popen, without first sanitising their values. The entry process of the enforcer container is the monitor process. When the enforcer container stops, the monitor process checks whether the consul subprocess has exited. To perform this check, the monitor process uses the popen function to execute a shell command that determines whether the ports used by the consul subprocess are still active. The values of environment variables CLUSTER_RPC_PORT and CLUSTER_LAN_PORT are used directly to compose shell commands via popen without validation or sanitization. This behavior could allow a malicious user to inject malicious commands through these variables within the enforcer container. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-108263 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Astron Agent is an agentic workflow platform for building and running AI agents. Prior to 1.1.2, the default workflow code-node path through /console-api/workflow/code/run and /workflow/v1/run selects LocalExecutor in core/workflow/engine/nodes/code/code_node.py when CODE_EXEC_TYPE is not explicitly changed. LocalExecutor supplies complete Python builtins to dynamic code execution without the documented sandbox restrictions. An authenticated low-privilege tenant can execute code as root in the core-workflow container and use shared service and database credentials to bypass application-level tenant checks, read or modify other tenants' data, and disrupt shared services. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.2. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-62940 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.3.0, when migrating an instance to another cluster member, user-supplied configuration overrides (including security-critical keys like `security.privileged` and `raw.lxc`) are applied without any project restriction enforcement, allowing a restricted project user to escalate to a privileged container and escape to the host. Version 7.3.0 patches the issue. 15 Oct
