CVE-2026-33646 9.6 critical 0.00% no CPE yet mise manages dev tools like node, python, cmake, and terraform. Prior to 2026.3.10, mise processes .tool-versions files through the Tera template engine during parsing, with the exec() function registered, enabling arbitrary command execution. Unlike .mise.toml files, .tool-versions files are not subject to trust verification in non-paranoid mode. This means an attacker can place a malicious .tool-versions file in a git repository, and when a victim with mise activated cds into the directory, arbitrary commands execute without any trust prompt. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.3.10. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-10283 9.6 critical 0.00% no CPE yet BBOT's gitdumper module could be abused to execute commands through a malicious git repository. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-61850 9.3 critical — akuity, kargo Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts. From 0.6.0 until 1.8.14, 1.9.9, and 1.10.8, two authorization flaws in the `project-scoped RBAC API` let an authenticated user with delegated permission to manage a Project's `Roles` or `ServiceAccounts` confer permissions exceeding the user's own. A user authorized to edit `Roles` can create, replace, or add rules granting permissions not held by the user; a user authorized to edit a Role's ServiceAccount can bind an identity, including the user's own, to a more powerful Role. A Kargo Role comprises a `ServiceAccount, Role, and RoleBinding` in the Project namespace. Changes are written using the API server's broadly privileged credentials after only a coarse resource-kind edit check, rather than checking each permission being conferred. This permits escalation to Project-administrator access, disclosure of `Project Secrets` and credentials, and modification or deletion of Project resources. Stolen Git, container-registry, or Helm-registry credentials can extend confidentiality and integrity impacts to those external systems. Escalation remains limited to Projects where the attacker already has RBAC-management delegation and does not itself grant cluster-wide or cross-Project access. Default non-administrator roles do not permit these operations; exploitation requires an `administrator-created custom role` granting the relevant permissions and control of an account assigned that role. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.14, 1.9.9, and 1.10.8. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-118762 9.3 critical 0.00% monkeytypegame, monkeytype Monkeytype is a minimalistic and customizable typing test. Prior to 26.43.0, the .github/workflows/fix-formatting.yml workflow runs on pull_request_target with repository write permissions, checks out a fork pull request, installs dependencies from the fork's package.json, and invokes the fork-controlled oxfmt binary. Because actions/checkout persists the elevated GITHUB_TOKEN in Git configuration until after untrusted code executes, an external contributor whose pull request receives the format label can run arbitrary code, read or exfiltrate the token, and push repository content or modify pull requests and issues. The issue affects the repository CI workflow, not the Monkeytype application or user data. This issue is fixed in version 26.43.0. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-59702 9.2 critical 0.00% no CPE yet repomix contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the POST /api/pack endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to make arbitrary outbound requests. The endpoint fails to properly validate http://, https://, and file:// URLs before passing them to git clone, enabling attackers to access private network addresses, GCP metadata services, or local filesystem paths. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-102828 9.2 critical 0.00% simple-git_project, simple-git simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. From 3.15.0 until 4.0.1, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin does not classify trailer.<token>.cmd as unsafe configuration. An application that passes attacker-controlled values through SimpleGitOptions.config or inline -c arguments can therefore allow Git to invoke an attacker-selected shell command when git interpret-trailers processes the configured trailer. The command executes with the operating-system identity and permissions of the Node.js process. This issue is fixed in 4.0.1. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-40313 9.1 critical 0.00% praison, praisonai PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions 4.5.139 and below, the GitHub Actions workflows are vulnerable to ArtiPACKED attack, a known credential leakage vector caused by using actions/checkout without setting persist-credentials: false. By default, actions/checkout writes the GITHUB_TOKEN (and sometimes ACTIONS_RUNTIME_TOKEN) into the .git/config file for persistence, and if any subsequent workflow step uploads artifacts (build outputs, logs, test results, etc.), these tokens can be inadvertently included. Since PraisonAI is a public repository, any user with read access can download these artifacts and extract the leaked tokens, potentially enabling an attacker to push malicious code, poison releases and PyPI/Docker packages, steal repository secrets, and execute a full supply chain compromise affecting all downstream users. The issue spans numerous workflow and action files across .github/workflows/ and .github/actions/. This issue has been fixed in version 4.5.140. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-55695 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet FearlessCMS is a flat-file content management system centered on simplicity and open source. In 0.1.2b and earlier, an authenticated administrator can set an arbitrary Git repository URL through admin/updater-handler.php and trigger perform_update, which passes the URL to update.sh. The updater clones the repository and replaces the live plugins/, admin/, and includes/ directories without verifying the repository's identity, signatures, or contents. Because router.php permits existing PHP files under plugins to be executed by the PHP development server, attacker-supplied update content can execute arbitrary PHP with the web server process's privileges and persist as a backdoor. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.3b. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-95106 9.1 critical 0.00% gitea Gitea accepted pushed Git trees containing two entries with the same name, which Git's own consistency checks reject. Gitea's web views resolved such a path to the first entry, while `git checkout`, Gitea Actions, and release archives use the last. A contributor could open a pull request whose diff and file views show benign content while CI and checkouts at the same commit use different, attacker-controlled content. Incoming objects are now checked for consistency; objects already stored in existing repositories are not rescanned. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-110867 9.0 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Renovate before 44.60.1 contains an allowlist bypass vulnerability that allows repositories to set restricted environment variables by placing env inside a shared preset. Attackers controlling an externally sourced preset can override variables like PATH, LD_PRELOAD, NODE_OPTIONS, or GIT_SSL_CAINFO in child processes on self-hosted instances. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-44792 8.9 high 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7, an attacker with write access to the git repository connected to an n8n Source Control configuration could commit a malicious Data Table JSON file containing a crafted column name. When an administrator performed a Source Control Pull, n8n imported the file and could lead to SQL injection on the internal PostgreSQL instance. Exploitation requires the n8n instance uses PostgreSQL as its database backend, the Source Control feature is enabled and connected to a repository the attacker can write to, and an administrator triggers a Source Control Pull. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-65598 8.9 high 0.00% n8n n8n before 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1 contains a TOCTOU race condition in the Git node's clone operation that allows authenticated users to bypass path restrictions by swapping a directory for a symlink after the path is validated but before the clone runs. This lets an attacker plant a crafted repository in the community node directory, which n8n loads as a custom node on the next restart, executing arbitrary JavaScript on the server. Both self-hosted and cloud instances are affected. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-71539 8.9 high 0.00% no CPE yet n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1, the Git node clone operation allows an authenticated workflow user to swap a validated directory for a symlink before cloning, planting a crafted repository in the community node directory that loads as a custom JavaScript node after restart and executes arbitrary code on the server. This issue is fixed in versions 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-40316 8.8 high 0.00% owasp, owasp_blt OWASP BLT is a QA testing and vulnerability disclosure platform that encompasses websites, apps, git repositories, and more. Versions prior to 2.1.1 contain an RCE vulnerability in the .github/workflows/regenerate-migrations.yml workflow. The workflow uses the pull_request_target trigger to run with full GITHUB_TOKEN write permissions, copies attacker-controlled files from untrusted pull requests into the trusted runner workspace via git show, and then executes python manage.py makemigrations, which imports Django model modules including attacker-controlled website/models.py at runtime. Any module-level Python code in the attacker's models.py is executed during import, enabling arbitrary code execution in the privileged CI environment with access to GITHUB_TOKEN and repository secrets. The attack is triggerable by any external contributor who can open a pull request, provided a maintainer applies the regenerate-migrations label, potentially leading to secret exfiltration, repository compromise, and supply chain attacks. A patch for this issue is expected to be released in version 2.1.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42603 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet OWASP BLT is a QA testing and vulnerability disclosure platform that encompasses websites, apps, git repositories, and more. Prior to 2.1.2, .github/workflows/pre-commit-fix.yaml uses pull_request_target (privileged trigger) but checks out and executes code directly from the attacker's fork, enabling RCE with write permissions. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-11745 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability has been identified in centraldogma-server-mirror-git versions prior to 0.84.0, where the Git mirror SSH client does not verify remote host keys for git+ssh:// connections, allowing an on-path attacker to perform man-in-the-middle attacks and compromise mirrored repositories. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-44938 8.8 high 0.00% suse, rancher_fleet A vulnerability has been identified in Fleet's agent-side deployer, which did not filter security-sensitive keys from namespaceLabels in fleet.yaml (or BundleDeployment.spec.options.namespaceLabels) when applying them to the target namespace. An attacker with git push access to a Fleet-monitored repository could overwrite Pod Security Standards (PSS) enforcement labels on a target namespace. This allows the attacker to weaken admission controls and deploy workloads that PSS policies would otherwise block. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-40043 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: nfc: nci: Add parameter validation for packet data Syzbot reported an uninitialized value bug in nci_init_req, which was introduced by commit 5aca7966d2a7 ("Merge tag 'perf-tools-fixes-for-v6.17-2025-09-16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/perf/perf-tools"). This bug arises due to very limited and poor input validation that was done at nic_valid_size(). This validation only validates the skb->len (directly reflects size provided at the userspace interface) with the length provided in the buffer itself (interpreted as NCI_HEADER). This leads to the processing of memory content at the address assuming the correct layout per what opcode requires there. This leads to the accesses to buffer of `skb_buff->data` which is not assigned anything yet. Following the same silent drop of packets of invalid sizes at `nic_valid_size()`, add validation of the data in the respective handlers and return error values in case of failure. Release the skb if error values are returned from handlers in `nci_nft_packet` and effectively do a silent drop Possible TODO: because we silently drop the packets, the call to `nci_request` will be waiting for completion of request and will face timeouts. These timeouts can get excessively logged in the dmesg. A proper handling of them may require to export `nci_request_cancel` (or propagate error handling from the nft packets handlers). 19 Oct
CVE-2025-69263 8.8 high 0.00% pnpm pnpm is a package manager. Versions 10.26.2 and below store HTTP tarball dependencies (and git-hosted tarballs) in the lockfile without integrity hashes. This allows the remote server to serve different content on each install, even when a lockfile is committed. An attacker who publishes a package with an HTTP tarball dependency can serve different code to different users or CI/CD environments. The attack requires the victim to install a package that has an HTTP/git tarball in its dependency tree. The victim's lockfile provides no protection. This issue is fixed in version 10.26.0. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-116843 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Mistral Vibe before 3.0.3 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to run commands by defining git filter drivers in an untrusted repository's .git/config. When started with --worktree, git worktree add applies .gitattributes and runs filter smudge, clean, or process commands before the trusted-folder check, executing attacker commands with user privileges. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-67322 8.7 high 0.00% gitpython_project, gitpython GitPython before 3.1.52 is vulnerable to environment-variable exfiltration in Repo.clone_from(). The caller-supplied remote URL is passed through Git.polish_url(), which on non-Cygwin platforms calls os.path.expandvars() on the URL before invoking git clone. An attacker who controls the clone URL can embed $NAME or ${NAME} tokens that are expanded to the values of the hosting process's environment variables (e.g., AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY or GITHUB_TOKEN). The resulting URL, now containing the secret, is transmitted over the network to an attacker-controlled host during the clone attempt, disclosing the secret. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-109326 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Grav before 2.1.7 contains an information disclosure vulnerability because bundled nginx, lighttpd, IIS, and Caddy 2 configurations block .git only at document root. Unauthenticated attackers can request nested repositories such as user/.git to retrieve Git config, refs, and objects, reconstructing unpublished history or committed secrets. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-110859 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet GitPython before 3.2.0 contains an argument injection vulnerability in Head.checkout() that allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying a branch name parsed as a git option. Attackers can host a repository whose default branch is named --pathspec-from-file=<path>, causing cloning applications that check out the active branch to leak file contents through GitCommandError messages. 16 Oct
CVE-2025-59777 8.7 high 0.00% gnu, libmicrohttpd NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in GNU libmicrohttpd v1.0.2 and earlier. The vulnerability was fixed in commit ff13abc on the master branch of the libmicrohttpd Git repository, after the v1.0.2 tag. A specially crafted packet sent by an attacker could cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-62689 8.7 high 0.00% gnu, libmicrohttpd NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in GNU libmicrohttpd v1.0.2 and earlier. The vulnerability was fixed in commit ff13abc on the master branch of the libmicrohttpd Git repository, after the v1.0.2 tag. A specially crafted packet sent by an attacker could cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-75913 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet CodeWhale (codewhale / codewhale-tui) versions >= 0.8.41 and < 0.8.64 contain an argument injection vulnerability in the git_show tool. The model-supplied rev parameter is passed unvalidated into the git show argv without an --end-of-options sentinel, so a value beginning with --output= is interpreted as a git flag. Because the tool is registered as auto-approved and advertised as read-only, an attacker (via a malicious repository combined with prompt injection) can cause an unprompted arbitrary file write at the privilege of the invoking user, targeting sensitive files such as ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, ~/.bashrc, or ~/.gitconfig. Fixed in 0.8.64 by adding rev validation. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-75912 8.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet CodeWhale versions before 0.8.64 contain an argument injection vulnerability in the git_blame tool that allows attackers to read arbitrary files by injecting git options into the unvalidated rev parameter. Attackers can supply rev values like --contents=/path/to/file to exfiltrate sensitive files such as SSH keys and credentials through the tool output returned to the model. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-33748 8.2 high 0.00% mobyproject, buildkit BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. Prior to version 0.28.1, insufficient validation of Git URL fragment subdir components may allow access to files outside the checked-out Git repository root. Possible access is limited to files on the same mounted filesystem. The issue has been fixed in version v0.28.1 The issue affects only builds that use Git URLs with a subpath component. As a workaround, avoid building Dockerfiles from untrusted sources or using the subdir component from an untrusted Git repository where the subdir component could point to a symlink. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-108259 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to 3.0.0, @tinacms/cli reads Git branch values from VERCEL_GIT_COMMIT_REF, GITHUB_BRANCH, or HEAD, incorporates the raw value into the API URL, and interpolates that URL into JavaScript string literals in packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/codegen/index.ts and packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/codegen/codegen/plugin.ts. A crafted Git-valid branch name containing a quote can terminate the generated string and inject an expression that executes when the generated client module is imported during a preview build. The injected code runs with the build process privileges and can read environment credentials, modify deployment artifacts, or make network requests. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-41175 8.1 high 0.00% statamic Statamic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to versions 5.73.20 and 6.13.0, manipulating query parameters on Control Panel and REST API endpoints, or arguments in GraphQL queries, could result in the loss of content, assets, and user accounts. The Control Panel requires authentication with minimal permissions in order to exploit. e.g. "view entries" permission to delete entries, or "view users" permission to delete users, etc. The REST and GraphQL API exploits do not require any permissions, however neither are enabled by default. In order to be exploited, they would need to be explicitly enabled with no authentication configured, and the specific resources enabled too. Sites that enable the REST or GraphQL API without authentication should treat patching as critical priority. This has been fixed in 5.73.20 and 6.13.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41002 8.1 high 0.00% vmware, spring_cloud_config The base directory (`spring.cloud.config.server.git.basedir`) used by the Spring Cloud Config Server to clone Git repositories to is susceptible to time-of-check-time-of-use (TOCTOU) attacks. Spring Cloud Config 3.1.x: affected from 3.1.0 through 3.1.13 (inclusive); upgrade to 3.1.14 or greater (Enterprise Support Only). Spring Cloud Config 4.1.x: affected from 4.1.0 through 4.1.9 (inclusive); upgrade to 4.1.10 or greater (Enterprise Support Only). Spring Cloud Config 4.2.x: affected from 4.2.0 through 4.2.6 (inclusive); upgrade to 4.2.7 or greater (Enterprise Support Only). Spring Cloud Config 4.3.x: affected from 4.3.0 through 4.3.2 (inclusive); upgrade to 4.3.3 or greater. Spring Cloud Config 5.0.x: affected from 5.0.0 through 5.0.2 (inclusive); upgrade to 5.0.3 or greater. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-28744 8.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Gitea versions up to and including 1.26.1 allow Git smart HTTP requests authenticated with bearer tokens to bypass repository token scope checks. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-89430 8.1 high 0.00% gitea Gitea validated a push mirror's remote address against the `[migrations]` allow and block lists only when the mirror was created. Each synchronization passed the stored address directly to `git push`, so a name that later resolved to a blocked or internal address was still reached. A user with administrator access to a repository, which includes repositories they create themselves, could aim push mirror synchronization at internal Git services and force-push the repository's contents to them. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-86320 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in flatpak-builder where Git hooks are not disabled when applying patch sources with use-git-am: true. An attacker who can provide a malicious source containing a Git post-applypatch hook can cause the hook to execute on the host during the build process, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running flatpak-builder. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-44471 7.8 high 0.00% gitoxidelabs, gix-fs gitoxide is an implementation of git written in Rust. Prior to 0.21.1, a malicious tree can be constructed that will, when checked out with gitoxide, permit writing an attacker-controlled symlink into any existing directory the user has write access to. During checkout, all symlink index entries are deferred and created after regular files using a single shared gix_worktree::Stack. Internally, this uses a gix_fs::Stack. gix_fs::Stack::make_relative_path_current() caches validated path prefixes: when the previously-processed leaf component exactly matches the leading component(s) of the next path, the leaf-to-directory transition at gix-fs/src/stack.rs invokes only delegate.push_directory(), never delegate.push(). In gix_worktree::stack::delegate::StackDelegate, when the state member is State::CreateDirectoryAndAttributesStack, Attributes::push_directory() only loads attributes (from the ODB, in the clone case), and does not perform any other checks. The on-disk symlink_metadata() check and unlink-on-collision live in StackDelegate::push()'s invocation of create_leading_directory(), which is therefore bypassed for the cached prefix. The final symlink is created with plain std::os::unix::fs::symlink, which follows symlinks in parent directories. Therefore, it's possible to provide a tree with duplicate symlink and directory entries that exploits this. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.21.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54555 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet rtk filters and compresses command outputs before they reach your LLM context. Prior to 0.42.2, the permission splitter did not conservatively split or reject several shell constructs that Bash treats as command execution boundaries or nested execution. As a result, a command beginning with an allowed prefix such as git could hide a second command behind one of these constructs. rtk rewrite returned exit code 0, causing the Claude hook to emit permissionDecision: "allow". The rewritten command still contained the hidden command, so it ran without the user confirmation or denial that the permission rules were intended to enforce. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.42.2. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-11332 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in ansible-core. The ansible-galaxy role install command processes dependency specifications from a role's meta/requirements.yml file. Due to improper neutralization of argument delimiters, a malicious role author can inject arbitrary git configuration flags through the src field. This allows arbitrary code execution on the machine of a user who installs the role via ansible-galaxy role install. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-53109 7.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/pgtable-frag: Fix bad page state in pte_frag_destroy powerpc uses pt_frag_refcount as a reference counter for tracking it's pte and pmd page table fragments. For PTE table, in case of Hash with 64K pagesize, we have 16 fragments of 4K size in one 64K page. Patch series [1] "mm: free retracted page table by RCU" added pte_free_defer() to defer the freeing of PTE tables when retract_page_tables() is called for madvise MADV_COLLAPSE on shmem range. [1]: https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]/ pte_free_defer() sets the active flag on the corresponding fragment's folio & calls pte_fragment_free(), which reduces the pt_frag_refcount. When pt_frag_refcount reaches 0 (no active fragment using the folio), it checks if the folio active flag is set, if set, it calls call_rcu to free the folio, it the active flag is unset then it calls pte_free_now(). Now, this can lead to following problem in a corner case... Now, if this process exits, with such folio as it's cached pte_frag in mm->context, then during pte_frag_destroy(), we simply call pagetable_dtor() and pagetable_free(), meaning it doesn't clear the active flag. This, can lead to the above bug. Since we are anyway in do_exit() path, then if the refcount is 0, then I guess it should be ok to simply clear the folio active flag before calling pagetable_dtor() & pagetable_free(). 21 Oct
CVE-2026-23270 7.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: Only allow act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress qdiscs and shared blocks As Paolo said earlier [1]: "Since the blamed commit below, classify can return TC_ACT_CONSUMED while the current skb being held by the defragmentation engine. As reported by GangMin Kim, if such packet is that may cause a UaF when the defrag engine later on tries to tuch again such packet." act_ct was never meant to be used in the egress path, however some users are attaching it to egress today [2]. Attempting to reach a middle ground, we noticed that, while most qdiscs are not handling TC_ACT_CONSUMED, clsact/ingress qdiscs are. With that in mind, we address the issue by only allowing act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress qdiscs and shared blocks. That way it's still possible to attach act_ct to egress (albeit only with clsact). CVE-2025-68815 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: ets: Remove drr class from the active list if it changes to strict Whenever a user issues an ets qdisc change command, transforming a drr class into a strict one, the ets code isn't checking whether that class was in the active list and removing it. CVE-2025-21704 7.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdc-acm: Check control transfer buffer size before access If the first fragment is shorter than struct usb_cdc_notification, we can't calculate an expected_size. Log an error and discard the notification instead of reading lengths from memory outside the received data, which can lead to memory corruption when the expected_size decreases between fragments, causing `expected_size - acm->nb_index` to wrap. This issue has been present since the beginning of git history; however, it only leads to memory corruption since commit ea2583529cd1 ("cdc-acm: reassemble fragmented notifications"). A mitigating factor is that acm_ctrl_irq() can only execute after userspace has opened /dev/ttyACM*; but if ModemManager is running, ModemManager will do that automatically depending on the USB device's vendor/product IDs and its other interfaces. 15 Oct
CVE-2025-41390 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet An arbitrary code execution vulnerability exists in the git functionality of Truffle Security Co. TruffleHog 3.90.2. A specially crafted repository can lead to a arbitrary code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious respository to trigger this vulnerability. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-110845 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet n8n before 1.123.83, 2.x before 2.41.4, and 2.42.x before 2.42.1 contains a code execution vulnerability in the Git node Log operation, which fails to strip a repository's local git configuration before invoking an external program. Authenticated members who can point the node, including as an agent tool, at a repository whose local configuration they control can execute programs as the n8n process user. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-73122 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in the multicloud-operators-channel component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM). This vulnerability allows a compromised agent from a managed cluster to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. Specifically, the agent can read all Secrets and ConfigMaps within any Channel namespace on the hub, potentially exposing credentials for other tenants' Git and Helm repositories. This could lead to significant information disclosure. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-110857 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet GitPython before 3.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to run commands because Git.ls_remote forwards URLs without check_unsafe_protocols validation. Attackers can supply ext:: remote-helper URLs to execute commands when git permits the ext transport, while merge_base and IndexFile.move also accept unguarded option injection. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-13089 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet OIDC::Lite versions through 0.12.1 for Perl allow ID Token signature verification bypass via a token-controlled algorithm allowlist in verify. When the caller does not pin an algorithm, OIDC::Lite::Model::IDToken::verify sets $self->alg($self->header->{alg}) from the token's own header and then calls decode_jwt(token, key, 1, [$self->alg]), handing JSON::WebToken an accepted-algorithm allowlist taken from the untrusted token. A token with alg=none yields ['none'], so decode_jwt returns the claims with no signature check, and a token with alg=HS256 is verified with the RP's RSA public key as the HMAC secret (RS to HS confusion). The ID Token is the OpenID Connect authentication assertion delivered to the Relying Party. Any caller that verifies an ID Token through the unpinned load(token)->verify path, or load(token, key) with only the key pinned, accepts a forged token carrying attacker-chosen claims such as sub and is authenticated as any user. Passing an explicit algorithm so $self->alg is already set bypasses the header-derived allowlist and is not affected. Note that the latest version uploaded to CPAN is 0.10. Later versions are available in the git repository. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-62999 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Copier is a library and CLI app for rendering project templates. From 9.5.0 through 9.16.0, percent-encoded parent-directory segments or encoded path separators in a template URL can match a configured trusted repository prefix before an HTTP server or Git transport decodes the path, allowing unsafe template features from a repository outside the trusted prefix to run after user interaction. This issue is fixed in version 9.17.0. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-114145 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet GitPython is a python library used to interact with Git repositories. Prior to 3.2.1, create_submodule() in git/objects/submodule/base.py accepts an attacker-influenced submodule path such as .git/hooks and invokes _clone_repo() before safely rejecting the destination. In 3.1.x, _validate_repo_path() does not exist and the call succeeds silently, while in 3.2.0 and later affected revisions the check in git/index/base.py raises ValueError only after the clone has written to disk and does not remove the planted file. An attacker-controlled submodule can therefore place an executable post-checkout hook that a later Git operation executes. Exploitation requires an application to accept an untrusted submodule path and a clone destination such as .git/hooks that is empty enough for Git to clone into it, which commonly means that default sample hooks are absent. This issue is fixed in version 3.2.1. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-86063 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Claude Code is an agentic coding tool. Prior to 2.1.179, the Claude Code and Claude Desktop plugin installation flow runs git checkout for a marketplace-pinned commit without verifying that the resulting HEAD equals the pinned 40-character SHA. An attacker who controls a plugin repository on a Git host that permits SHA-shaped branch names can create a branch named after the reviewed commit, causing checkout to select the branch tip and install attacker-controlled plugin code. Exploitation requires a user to install the malicious plugin and pin it to the ostensibly safe hash. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.179. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-104636 7.5 high 0.00% gitea Gitea validated the initial remote URL for push mirrors, wiki remote checks, and fetches of migrated pull request heads, but the subsequent raw Git operations followed HTTP redirects without revalidating the destination. A repository administrator using a policy-allowed endpoint that redirects could make Gitea's Git client send requests to an address that the outbound host policy would otherwise block. The impact depends on the configured policy and the internal services reachable from the server. 13 Oct
