|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2026-45321KEVexploit ×12 | 9.6 critical | 3.0% | tanstack, mistral, tanstack\/arktype-adapter, tanstack\/eslint-plugin-router, tanstack\/eslint-plugin-start | On 2026-05-11, between approximately 19:20 and 19:26 UTC, 84 malicious versions across 42 @tanstack/* packages were published to the npm registry. The publishes were authenticated via the legitimate GitHub Actions OIDC trusted-publisher binding for TanStack/router, but the publish workflow itself was not modified. The attacker chained three known vulnerability classes — a pull_request_target "Pwn Request" misconfiguration, GitHub Actions cache poisoning across the fork↔base trust boundary, and runtime memory extraction of the OIDC token from the Actions runner process — to publish credential-stealing malware under a trusted identity. Each affected package received exactly two malicious versions, published a few minutes apart. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59774exploit ×4 | 9.8 critical | 28.0% | no CPE yet | Gitea's Org-mode markup renderer processes INCLUDE directives supplied to the repository markup endpoint without preventing access to server-side files. An unauthenticated attacker can use a suitable public repository to read files accessible to the Gitea service account. If the disclosed files include app.ini and its INTERNAL_TOKEN, the attacker can chain the disclosure with internal logger access to modify a Git hook and execute commands as the Gitea service account. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2023-51385exploit ×23 | 6.5 medium | 20.0% | openbsd, debian, openssh, debian_linux | In ssh in OpenSSH before 9.6, OS command injection might occur if a user name or host name has shell metacharacters, and this name is referenced by an expansion token in certain situations. For example, an untrusted Git repository can have a submodule with shell metacharacters in a user name or host name. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2021-3572exploit | 5.7 medium | 2.0% | pypa, oracle, pip, agile_product_lifecycle_management, communications_cloud_native_core_network_function_cloud_native_environment | A flaw was found in python-pip in the way it handled Unicode separators in git references. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to install a different revision on a repository. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data integrity. This is fixed in python-pip version 21.1. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-5366exploit | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | prefect | Prefect version 3.6.23 is vulnerable to remote code execution due to improper handling of user-controlled input in the `GitRepository` storage class. The `commit_sha` parameter, which is passed to git commands, lacks validation and does not include a `--` separator to distinguish user input from git flags. This allows attackers to inject arbitrary git flags, such as `--upload-pack`, enabling execution of external programs. Additionally, the `directories` parameter can be exploited to inject git flags during sparse-checkout operations. These vulnerabilities allow any user with deployment creation permissions to execute arbitrary commands on worker machines, compromising shared work pools in multi-tenant environments. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2025-13595exploit | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The CIBELES AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing capability check in the 'actualizador_git.php' file in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.8. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to download arbitrary GitHub repositories and overwrite plugin files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2025-13597exploit | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The AI Feeds plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing capability check in the 'actualizador_git.php' file in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.11. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to download arbitrary GitHub repositories and overwrite plugin files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102827exploit | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | simple-git_project, simple-git | simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin compares parsed option names with literal dangerous option spellings while Git accepts unambiguous long-option abbreviations. Attacker-influenced push arguments such as abbreviated --receive-pack or --exec forms can therefore bypass detectVulnerableFlags, reach git push against a local or file remote or an attacker-influenced receive-pack target, and cause Git to invoke an attacker-selected command in consumers that expose those arguments. The clone-side abbreviation handling does not protect the push path. This issue is fixed in 4.0.0. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65964exploit ×6 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Versions 0.123.1 through 1.119.1 do not have adequate protections to prevent RCE through the project's pre-commit hooks. The Add Config operation allows workflows to set arbitrary Git configuration values, including core.hooksPath, which can point to a malicious Git hook that executes arbitrary commands on the n8n host during subsequent Git operations. Exploitation requires the ability to create or modify an n8n workflow using the Git node. This issue is fixed in version 1.119.2. Workarounds include excluding the Git Node (Docs) and avoiding cloning or interacting with untrusted repositories using the Git Node. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62726exploit ×2 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.113.0, a remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Git Node component available in both Cloud and Self-Hosted versions of n8n. When a malicious actor clones a remote repository containing a pre-commit hook, the subsequent use of the Commit operation in the Git Node can inadvertently trigger the hook’s execution. This allows attackers to execute arbitrary code within the n8n environment, potentially compromising the system and any connected credentials or workflows. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.113.0. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-85168exploit | 7.7 high | 1.0% | n8n-io, n8n | n8n versions before 1.123.73, 2.35.4, and 2.36.2 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the Git node. The node reset a fixed list of command-bearing configuration keys before each operation, but that list did not cover the content-filter and merge-driver key families. A repository with local configuration setting one of those keys together with a matching attribute pattern causes git to execute the configured command during an ordinary Add, Commit, Checkout, or Pull operation. The command runs as the n8n process user. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46394exploit | 7.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | HAX CMS helps manage microsite universe with PHP or NodeJs backends. Prior to version 26.0.0, an OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Git.php library of the HAXcms PHP backend. The application constructs shell command strings using unsanitized input and executes them via proc_open(). An attacker who can control parameters passed into Git operations can execute arbitrary OS commands with the privileges of the web server. Out of 17 functions that invoke shell commands only 1 function (`commit()`) correctly uses `escapeshellarg()`. When combined with another vulnerability that allows configuration manipulation, this issue can lead to full remote code execution and complete system compromise. Version 26.0.0 patches the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-4660exploit | 7.5 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | HashiCorp’s go-getter library up to v1.8.5 may allow arbitrary file reads on the file system during certain git operations through a maliciously crafted URL. This vulnerability, CVE-2026-4660, is fixed in go-getter v1.8.6. This vulnerability does not affect the go-getter/v2 branch and package. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2023-23946exploit ×2 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | git-scm, git | Git, a revision control system, is vulnerable to path traversal prior to versions 2.39.2, 2.38.4, 2.37.6, 2.36.5, 2.35.7, 2.34.7, 2.33.7, 2.32.6, 2.31.7, and 2.30.8. By feeding a crafted input to `git apply`, a path outside the working tree can be overwritten as the user who is running `git apply`. A fix has been prepared and will appear in v2.39.2, v2.38.4, v2.37.6, v2.36.5, v2.35.7, v2.34.7, v2.33.7, v2.32.6, v2.31.7, and v2.30.8. As a workaround, use `git apply --stat` to inspect a patch before applying; avoid applying one that creates a symbolic link and then creates a file beyond the symbolic link. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-38001exploit ×4 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: hfsc: Address reentrant enqueue adding class to eltree twice Savino says: "We are writing to report that this recent patch (141d34391abbb315d68556b7c67ad97885407547) [1] can be bypassed, and a UAF can still occur when HFSC is utilized with NETEM. The patch only checks the cl->cl_nactive field to determine whether it is the first insertion or not [2], but this field is only incremented by init_vf [3]. By using HFSC_RSC (which uses init_ed) [4], it is possible to bypass the check and insert the class twice in the eltree. Under normal conditions, this would lead to an infinite loop in hfsc_dequeue for the reasons we already explained in this report [5]. However, if TBF is added as root qdisc and it is configured with a very low rate, it can be utilized to prevent packets from being dequeued. This behavior can be exploited to perform subsequent insertions in the HFSC eltree and cause a UAF." To fix both the UAF and the infinite loop, with netem as an hfsc child, check explicitly in hfsc_enqueue whether the class is already in the eltree whenever the HFSC_RSC flag is set. | CVE-2023-22490exploit | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | git-scm, git | Git is a revision control system. Using a specially-crafted repository, Git prior to versions 2.39.2, 2.38.4, 2.37.6, 2.36.5, 2.35.7, 2.34.7, 2.33.7, 2.32.6, 2.31.7, and 2.30.8 can be tricked into using its local clone optimization even when using a non-local transport. Though Git will abort local clones whose source `$GIT_DIR/objects` directory contains symbolic links, the `objects` directory itself may still be a symbolic link. These two may be combined to include arbitrary files based on known paths on the victim's filesystem within the malicious repository's working copy, allowing for data exfiltration in a similar manner as CVE-2022-39253. A fix has been prepared and will appear in v2.39.2 v2.38.4 v2.37.6 v2.36.5 v2.35.7 v2.34.7 v2.33.7 v2.32.6, v2.31.7 and v2.30.8. If upgrading is impractical, two short-term workarounds are available. Avoid cloning repositories from untrusted sources with `--recurse-submodules`. Instead, consider cloning repositories without recursively cloning their submodules, and instead run `git submodule update` at each layer. Before doing so, inspect each new `.gitmodules` file to ensure that it does not contain suspicious module URLs. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45033exploit | 8.5 high | 0.00% | github, copilot-cli | GitHub Copilot CLI brings AI-powered coding assistance directly to your command line. Prior to 1.0.43, a security vulnerability has been identified in GitHub Copilot CLI where a malicious bare git repository nested inside a project directory can achieve arbitrary code execution when the agent performs git operations. By exploiting git's automatic bare repository discovery during directory traversal, an attacker can set core.fsmonitor or other executable config keys to run arbitrary commands without user awareness or approval. The vulnerability arises because git's core.fsmonitor config key (and 15+ similar keys such as core.hookspath, diff.external, merge.tool, etc.) can specify arbitrary shell commands that git will execute as part of normal operations like status, diff, or rev-parse. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.43. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102826exploit ×4 | 8.1 high | 0.00% | simple-git_project, simple-git | simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin does not completely reject configuration includes supplied through customArgs to git.clone(). The missing include.path classification permits Git to load an attacker-controlled configuration file, and the initial remediation does not cover includeIf.<condition>.path, allowing the same file-loading primitive through a conditional include. A loaded configuration can set an executable Git option such as core.sshCommand, which Git invokes during the clone operation with the privileges of the Node.js process. Exploitation requires the application to pass attacker-influenced custom arguments and requires an attacker-controlled file that the process can read. This issue is fixed in 4.0.0. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53587exploit | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, libgit2 performs a fixed-size strncmp in set_data in src/libgit2/transports/smart_pkt.c without first verifying that the smart-protocol pkt-line capability buffer contains 14 bytes. A malicious Git server can make bytes after the pkt-line complete object-format=, causing format_str to advance beyond the pkt-line and the following memchr length calculation to underflow. The resulting heap out-of-bounds walk can crash a client during the first refs-advertisement packet over HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, or the Git protocol. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-59831 | 8.7 high | 4.0% | riceball, git-commiters | git-commiters is a Node.js function module providing committers stats for their git repository. Prior to version 0.1.2, there is a command injection vulnerability in git-commiters. This vulnerability manifests with the library's primary exported API: gitCommiters(options, callback) which allows specifying options such as cwd for current working directory and revisionRange as a revision pointer, such as HEAD. However, the library does not sanitize for user input or practice secure process execution API to separate commands from their arguments and as such, uncontrolled user input is concatenated into command execution. This issue has been patched in version 0.1.2. | 11 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19266 | 5.1 medium | 4.0% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability was determined in Kirachon context-engine up to 1.9.0. This affects the function execGitCommand of the file src/mcp/utils/gitUtils.ts of the component review-git-diff Endpoint. Executing a manipulation of the argument args can lead to command injection. Upgrading to version 1.9.1 mitigates this issue. This patch is called e0729dcfd3a2b1682a7bff86e7174852c03419ba. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-16492 | 2.0 low | 4.0% | no CPE yet | A weakness has been identified in umijs umi up to 4.6.63. The affected element is the function git.getFileCreateInfo of the file packages/utils/src/getFileGitIno.ts of the component GIT File Helper. This manipulation causes os command injection. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 4.6.64 is sufficient to fix this issue. Patch name: b6da12c17b024a43badb1fa565720c38cf42e647. Upgrading the affected component is advised. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56700 | 9.3 critical | 3.0% | no CPE yet | Grav CMS before 2.0.0-beta.2 contains multiple code-execution vulnerabilities. Three unsafe unserialize() calls - in Scheduler\JobQueue, Framework\Cache\Adapter\FileCache, and Session - deserialize untrusted data without restricting allowed classes, enabling PHP object injection and, via a gadget chain, arbitrary code execution where an attacker controls the serialized input. Additionally, InstallCommand's git clone operation passes the branch, url, and path parameters into a shell command without escaping, allowing OS command injection via plugin/theme installation (which requires admin access). A Twig security blocklist bypass (server-side template injection) is also present. The issues are fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48168 | 10.0 critical | 2.0% | no CPE yet | PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions prior to 4.6.40, the bundled Claude GitHub Actions workflow is vulnerable to command injection because it embeds an attacker-controlled pull request branch name into a Bash run: block without quoting or validation. Additionally, the workflow allows any @claude comment to trigger the job regardless of whether the commenter is a trusted collaborator. An outside contributor can open a pull request from a fork whose branch name contains shell metacharacters and comment @claude, causing Bash to execute arbitrary shell code in the GitHub Actions runner. Because these commands run in a job holding a GitHub App token with write permissions, OIDC access, and gh/git access, the injection can be chained through $GITHUB_PATH to compromise later privileged steps, enabling repository writes, pull request and issue manipulation, or OIDC-token abuse. This issue has been fixed in version 4.6.40. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110634 | 9.3 critical | 2.0% | no CPE yet | git-diff before 2.0.7 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute shell commands by supplying crafted strings to the gitDiff API. Attackers who control a diffed document string can embed $(cmd) or backtick substitutions that shelljs.exec evaluates, running commands with Node.js process privileges. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-70375 | 8.8 high | 2.0% | no CPE yet | HashBrown CMS through 1.4.6 contains an OS Command Injection vulnerability (CWE-78) in the Git deployer component. GitDeployer.pullRepo in src/Server/Entity/Deployer/GitDeployer.js executes AppService.exec, interpolating the configured branch value directly into a shell command with no escaping. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55797 | 8.8 high | 2.0% | no CPE yet | Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 2.11.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, the Argo CD repo-server is vulnerable to command injection when it clones, tests, or fetches an SSH Git repository configured with a proxy URL. The proxy host and port are embedded in an SSH ProxyCommand that is executed through a shell without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A user who can create or update a repository or repository credential template can supply a crafted proxy host to execute commands in the repo-server and access its Git, Helm, and OCI credentials. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-67325 | 8.7 high | 2.0% | gitpython_project, gitpython | GitPython before 3.1.51 contains an incomplete command injection blocklist that fails to account for git's long-option prefix abbreviation feature. Attackers can bypass the unsafe options guard by using abbreviated option names like upload_p instead of upload_pack, which git resolves to dangerous options and executes arbitrary commands. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2025-58763 | 7.2 high | 2.0% | tautulli | Tautulli is a Python based monitoring and tracking tool for Plex Media Server. A command injection vulnerability in Tautulli v2.15.3 and prior allows attackers with administrative privileges to obtain remote code execution on the application server. This vulnerability requires the application to have been cloned from GitHub and installed manually. When Tautulli is cloned directly from GitHub and installed manually, the application manages updates and versioning through calls to the `git` command. In the code, this is performed through the `runGit` function in `versioncheck.py`. Since `shell=True` is passed to `subproces.Popen`, this call is vulnerable to subject to command injection, as shell characters within arguments will be passed to the underlying shell. A concrete location where this can be triggered is in the `checkout_git_branch` endpoint. This endpoint stores a user-supplied remote and branch name into the `GIT_REMOTE` and `GIT_BRANCH` configuration keys without sanitization. Downstream, these keys are then fetched and passed directly into `runGit` using a format string. Hence, code execution can be obtained by using `$()` interpolation in a command. Version 2.16.0 contains a fix for the issue. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-7062 | 5.5 medium | 2.0% | no CPE yet | A security vulnerability has been detected in Intina47 context-sync up to 2.0.0. This affects an unknown part of the file src/git-integration.ts of the component Git Integration. Such manipulation leads to os command injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113672 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 0.9.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, the repo-server evaluates .jsonnet files with an importer that does not confine import, importstr, or importbin to the repository root. Absolute paths, parent-directory traversal, and repository symlinks can open any file readable by the repo-server, including /proc/self/environ, projected service-account tokens, mounted private keys, and repository credentials. Although generated Secrets are redacted, placing imported contents in a ConfigMap returns the data to the caller. Using importstr on a non-terminating device such as /dev/zero can exhaust repo-server memory. An attacker can commit a .jsonnet file to a Git repository used by an Application or upload the file through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. Directory applications evaluate every .jsonnet file in the application directory. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing directory Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73294 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Semaphore UI is a web interface for managing DevOps tools. Prior to 2.18.17 and 2.19.5-beta2, repository git_url handling passes an attacker-controlled --upload-pack option to CmdGitClient.GetLastRemoteCommitHash through POST /api/project/{id}/repositories and scheduled commit-hash polling, allowing a project Manager or Owner to execute arbitrary OS commands in the Semaphore server process. This issue is fixed in versions 2.18.17 and 2.19.5-beta2. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113709 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 2.1.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, when an operator has enabled --enable-helm for kustomize build, helmGlobals.configHome can point Helm's config and data directories at a repository-controlled location. Helm automatically loads a downloader plugin from `<configHome>/.data/plugins` without a separate plugin-install step and executes its program inside argocd-repo-server when a helmCharts repository URL uses the plugin's protocol. The command runs as the repo-server user and can read repository credentials and other process-accessible data. An attacker can commit the Kustomization and plugin to a Git repository that an Application builds or upload the files through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. Both delivery paths require prior operator enablement of --enable-helm; deployments that do not enable it are not affected. Kustomize 4.1.0 first passed helmGlobals.configHome through to Helm. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113708 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 2.7.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, Kustomize passes ref or version query values from remote resource, base, or component URLs to git fetch without an end-of-options separator. A leading-hyphen value can be parsed as --upload-pack and execute a command inside argocd-repo-server when the remote uses a local transport such as file://. Git does not run the supplied command for an https:// remote. The local transport does not leave the pod, so blocking repo-server egress does not prevent the execution. The command runs as the repo-server user, can read repository credentials and other process-accessible data, and can return output through manifest-generation errors. An attacker can commit a Kustomization to a Git repository that an Application builds or upload files through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. Kustomize 5.0.0 introduced acceptance of file://, whereas 4.5.7 rejects that transport; replacing the affected Kustomize with a newer version alone does not correct the missing option separator. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73240 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | apache, allura | Specifically crafted inputs may lead to git argument injection in Apache Allura. This issue affects Apache Allura: before 1.19.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.19.1, which fixes the issue. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19593 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | OpenAI Codex Desktop for Windows and macOS automatically inspected Git metadata and working-tree status when a user opened a workspace. If the workspace contains a repository with preserved attacker-controlled .git/config, the attr.tree setting and a configured clean or process filter can cause Git to run an attacker-controlled program. The program runs outside Codex's command sandbox with the signed-in user's privileges, without a workspace-trust prompt, command approval, or interaction with a model. The attacker can read, modify, or delete files and access credentials available to that user. Exploitation requires Git to be available on PATH and the user to open the attacker-prepared repository with its local Git configuration intact. An ordinary Git clone does not copy the source repository's .git/config and is not sufficient by itself. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2025-69264 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | pnpm | pnpm is a package manager. Versions 10.0.0 through 10.25 allow git-hosted dependencies to execute arbitrary code during pnpm install, circumventing the v10 security feature "Dependency lifecycle scripts execution disabled by default". While pnpm v10 blocks postinstall scripts via the onlyBuiltDependencies mechanism, git dependencies can still execute prepare, prepublish, and prepack scripts during the fetch phase, enabling remote code execution without user consent or approval. This issue is fixed in version 10.26.0. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44790 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could inject CLI flags on the Git node's Push operation allowing an attacker to read arbitrary files from the n8n server potentially leading to full compromise. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45261 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | GitButler is a modern Git-based version control interface for AI-powered workflows. Prior to 0.19.7, a emote code execution vulnerability exists in the Tauri-based GitButler desktop application. An attacker can inject a malicious link in a pull request body, which if clicked by the user allows for arbitrary script execution in the Tauri webview. Users that have not enabled forge integration are not at risk. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54527 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | jupyter, jupyterlab-git | JupyterLab Git is a Git extension for JupyterLab. From 0.30.0b3 before 0.54.0, the PlainTextDiff.ts createHeader() method passes Git filenames directly to innerHTML when rendering renamed files in commit history, allowing a crafted filename to execute JavaScript when a victim views the rename diff in the Git History tab. This issue is fixed in version 0.54.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-67324 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | gitpython_project, gitpython | GitPython 3.1.50 fails to recognize joined short-option forms such as -u<value> (the short form of --upload-pack=<value>) when enforcing its default unsafe-option gate. When an application passes attacker-influenced clone options into Repo.clone_from(..., multi_options=..., allow_unsafe_options=False), an attacker can supply -u<helper> to bypass the gate that blocks --upload-pack/-u, causing Git to execute the specified helper command during clone. Fixed in 3.1.51. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-78676 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | gitpython_project, gitpython | GitPython before 3.1.59 fails to safely re-serialize multi-line git-config values during write operations, corrupting dormant quoted values into injected directives like core.hooksPath. Attackers can craft config files with embedded newlines that become live git directives after any unrelated GitPython config write, enabling arbitrary code execution via hook invocation. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-58370 | 9.2 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Woodpecker before 3.15.0 matches the ApprovalAllowedUsers bypass list against pipeline.Author. For the GitLab forge driver, pipeline.Author is populated from the git commit author name (commit.author.name) carried in the webhook payload, which is attacker-controlled and not verified by GitLab. A user who can open a merge request from a fork can set the commit author name to match an entry in ApprovalAllowedUsers, causing needsApproval to return false so the pipeline runs without the required approval. This defeats the fork-approval security boundary and allows execution of attacker-controlled pipeline steps on a Woodpecker agent and exfiltration of CI secrets exposed to the run. Other built-in forge drivers (Gitea, Forgejo, GitHub, Bitbucket) derive pipeline.Author from the forge-validated sender/actor identity and are not affected. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57073 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | HTML::Bare versions through 0.04 for Perl have an unbounded character lookahead. The parserc_parse function attempts to check for multicharacter strings such as "<![CDATA" or element terminators such as ">" without checking that the offsets are within the buffer. Truncated strings such as "<a/" can trigger an out-of-bounds read. Note that the latest version available on CPAN is version 0.02. Newer versions are available on the git repository. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65907 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In JetBrains TeamCity before 2026.1.2, 2025.11.6 code execution in Git VCS roots was possible | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72538 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | An argument injection vulnerability in PrefectHQ Prefect through 3.8.2 allows authenticated users to achieve remote code execution via the git_clone pull step branch field. The branch parameter is passed directly to git pull without sanitization, enabling injection of arbitrary git arguments. This represents a distinct code path from the incomplete fix applied for CVE-2026-5366 and allows command execution on the Prefect server. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-17556 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | github, enterprise_server | A path traversal vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an unauthenticated attacker to delete arbitrary files and directories on the instance, including the entire user storage directory containing Git LFS objects, release assets, attachments, and avatars. The X-GitHub-Request-Id request header was used without sanitization as a filesystem path segment for the upload buffer directory, so a traversal value pointed the buffer at an arbitrary path and the deferred cleanup routine recursively removed the traversed target. Exploitation required only network reachability to the instance and no authentication, and it worked even when private mode was enabled. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.22 and was fixed in versions 3.21.4, 3.20.6, 3.19.10, 3.18.13 and 3.17.19. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2025-58158 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Harness Open Source is an end-to-end developer platform with Source Control Management, CI/CD Pipelines, Hosted Developer Environments, and Artifact Registries. Prior to version 3.3.0, Open Source Harness git LFS server (Gitness) exposes api to retrieve and upload files via git LFS. Implementation of upload git LFS file api is vulnerable to arbitrary file write. Due to improper sanitization for upload path, a malicious authenticated user who has access to Harness Gitness server api can use a crafted upload request to write arbitrary file to any location on file system, may even compromise the server. Users using git LFS are vulnerable. This issue has been patched in version 3.3.0. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103412 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel Karavan. A project file name supplied through the project file API was used verbatim as a path segment when the project was written to the working copy for a Git commit, so a name containing `../` sequences caused the file content to be written outside the project directory, to any location writable by the Karavan process. An authenticated user of any role could use this to overwrite application configuration or files on the application classpath and so execute code in the Karavan container. This issue affects Apache Camel Karavan: from 3.18.0 before 4.22.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.22.1, which fixes the issue. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114094 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Dulwich before 1.2.9 fails to validate DOS drive letter prefixes in Git tree path elements on Windows, allowing arbitrary file write. Attackers can craft a malicious repository with a tree entry named 'C:' that bypasses NTFS validation and writes files outside the worktree to achieve remote code execution. | Wed 28 Oct |
