CVE-2026-32992 8.2 high 0.00% cpanel, wp_squared, whm SSL verification is disabled in the DNS Cluster system. This could allow for a malicious server to man-in-the-middle the request and capture credentials. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-48764 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions prior to 3.17.2, SSRF validation is implemented by resolving a hostname once and checking whether the resolved IP belongs to a forbidden range allowing for DNS rebinding bypass. The root cause is a time-of-check to time-of-use gap in the SSRF guard. The validator resolves the hostname and approves it, but the later request path performs a fresh resolution and connects to whatever IP the hostname maps to at that moment. The actual outbound request is then performed later using the original hostname, without pinning the validated IP to the network connection. An attacker who can supply a URL to a public bot that performs a server-side HTTP Request block or server-side script fetch can use DNS rebinding to pass the initial validation and still force the server to connect to a private or metadata address during the real request. This enables server-side access to private network services, cloud metadata endpoints, and other internal HTTP targets that the validator was intended to block. The exact downstream impact depends on the reachable internal services. Concrete consequences include metadata disclosure, access to internal admin panels, credential theft from metadata services, and further compromise through internal-only HTTP interfaces. This issue has been fixed in version 3.17.2. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-102552 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet Improper verification of the source of a communication channel in the DNS resolver in Amazon FreeRTOS-Plus-TCP before V4.4.2 might allow remote third-party to insert a chosen address into the device's DNS cache via a forged DNS reply. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version V4.4.2 and enable ipconfigDNS_CHECK_REPLY_SOURCE_IP. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-102078 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet A Use After Free vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). When web filtering for TCP traffic is configured, a high volume of DNS requests increases the likelihood of a flowd crash and restart, which leads to a complete service outage until the service has automatically recovered. This is a race condition outside the attacker's direct control. This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series: * All versions before 23.2R2-S5; * from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S6; * from 24.2 before 24.2R2-S3; * from 24.4 before 24.4R2-S1; * from 25.2 before 25.2R1-S1, 25.2R2. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-102086 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet A NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the DNS plugin of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a complete Denial-of-Service (DoS). When multiple DNS queries are received in a single flow session, where one query matches a Security Intelligence (SecIntel) feed and another query is sent for DNS Domain Generation Algorithm (DGA) analysis, an error in processing logging of these asynchronous tasks can lead to an FPC crash. The exact timing conditions are outside an attacker's direct control. This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series: * All versions before 23.2R2-S7.7; * from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S8.13; * from 24.2 before 24.2R2-S5.5; * from 24.4 before 24.4R2-S4; * from 25.2 before 25.2R2-S1; * from 25.4 before 25.4R1-S2. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-73798 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop DNS 9.2.3 Non Secure Version could cause a Denial of Service. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-1673 8.2 high 0.00% zephyrproject, zephyr A malicious or malformed DNS packet without a payload can cause an out-of-bounds read, resulting in a crash (denial of service) or an incorrect computation. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-35577 8.1 high 0.00% apollographql, apollo_mcp_server Apollo MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that exposes GraphQL operations as MCP tools. Prior to version 1.7.0, the Apollo MCP Server did not validate the Host header on incoming HTTP requests when using StreamableHTTP transport. In configurations where an HTTP-based MCP server is run on localhost without additional authentication or network-level controls, this could potentially allow a malicious website—visited by a user running the server locally—to use DNS rebinding techniques to bypass same-origin policy restrictions and issue requests to the local MCP server. If successfully exploited, this could allow an attacker to invoke tools or access resources exposed by the MCP server on behalf of the local user. This issue is limited to HTTP-based transport modes (StreamableHTTP). It does not affect servers using stdio transport. The practical risk is further reduced in deployments that use authentication, network-level access controls, or are not bound to localhost. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-63442 8.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, the unauthenticated WebGUI login usernamefld accepts carriage-return and line-feed characters that survive LOG_AUTH processing through syslog-ng-lockout.conf into the syslog-ng program destination feeding lockout_handler. The consumer's readline() processing treats an injected fragment as a separate authentication event and selects the first syntactically valid IP address from the forged line. An attacker with network access to the login page can forge failure events for another IP, causing that IP to be added to the sshlockout PF table and its active states to be killed, or forge accepted events that reset an attacker's own brute-force counter. This can block administrative, DNS, gateway, or monitoring addresses and can bypass password-guessing lockout without authentication. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-49175 7.8 high 0.00% microsoft, windows 10 version 21h2, windows 10 version 22h2, windows 11 version 24h2 Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows DNS allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-67179 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Genkit does not properly validate host request headers. Any host on the developer's network, and any website the developer visits (via DNS rebinding), can reach POST /api/runAction on the Dev UI server (default port 4000) and execute any registered Genkit action and read the result. Fixed on 2026-06-18. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-31945 7.7 high 0.00% librechat LibreChat is a ChatGPT clone with additional features. Versions 0.8.2-rc2 through 0.8.2 are vulnerable to a server-side request forgery (SSRF) attack when using agent actions or MCP. Although a previous SSRF vulnerability (https://github.com/danny-avila/LibreChat/security/advisories/GHSA-rgjq-4q58-m3q8) was reported and patched, the fix only introduced hostname validation. It does not verify whether DNS resolution results in a private IP address. As a result, an attacker can still bypass the protection and gain access to internal resources, such as an internal RAG API or cloud instance metadata endpoints. Version 0.8.3-rc1 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41688 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. In versions 4.8.4 and prior, the incomplete SSRF fix in Wallos validates webhook URLs via gethostbyname() but passes the original hostname to cURL without CURLOPT_RESOLVE pinning on 10 of 11 outbound HTTP endpoints, leaving a DNS rebinding TOCTOU window. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-58169 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Vibe-Trading before 0.1.10 contains a DNS rebinding authentication bypass vulnerability that allows remote attackers to bypass bearer-token authentication by exploiting the server's trust of TCP peer addresses for loopback clients combined with missing Host header validation while binding to 0.0.0.0 with credentialed CORS. Attackers can craft a malicious DNS rebinding page to issue authenticated requests to the local API server, reach the shell execution endpoint with a bash-enabled preset, and achieve remote code execution as the API process user while also overwriting LLM and data-source settings to exfiltrate credentials. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-63088 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet stoatchat before 0.14.0 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that allows unauthenticated network-accessible attackers to bypass the DNS-based IP blocklist by exploiting incomplete address validation in the url_is_blacklisted function, which inspects only the first resolved address while the underlying HTTP client iterates all cached addresses. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2024-56836 7.7 high 0.00% siemens, ruggedcom_rox_ii_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM ROX MX5000 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX MX5000RE (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1400 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1500 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1501 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1510 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1511 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1512 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1524 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1536 (All versions < V2.17.0), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX5000 (All versions < V2.17.0). During the Dynamic DNS configuration of the affected product it is possible to inject additional configuration parameters. Under certain circumstances, an attacker could leverage this vulnerability to spawn a reverse shell and gain root access on the affected system. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-101027 7.7 high 0.00% gitea When `[migrations] ALLOWED_DOMAINS` was configured, a hostname matching the allow list was accepted without checking its resolved address against the local-network restrictions. A user who can start repository migrations and control the DNS of an allowed hostname could make it resolve to loopback or private addresses and bypass `ALLOW_LOCALNETWORKS = false`, reaching internal services from the Gitea server. Instances without `ALLOWED_DOMAINS` configured are not affected by this specific bypass. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-42790 7.6 high 0.00% erlang, erlang\/otp Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in Erlang OTP public_key (pubkey_cert and public_key modules) allows a DNS nameConstraints bypass via subject CommonName fallback in TLS hostname verification. Two flaws combine to allow a subordinate CA whose DNS nameConstraints are restricted (e.g. permitted;DNS:allowed.example.com) to issue a leaf certificate that an OTP TLS client accepts as a valid identity for an out-of-scope hostname (e.g. victim.example.com): First, pubkey_cert:validate_names/6 in lib/public_key/src/pubkey_cert.erl only checks SAN DNS entries against nameConstraints. Per RFC 5280, a permitted DNS subtree only restricts certificates that contain a DNS-typed name. A leaf with no subjectAltName therefore trivially satisfies any permitted;DNS:... constraint regardless of its subject commonName. Second, public_key:pkix_verify_hostname/3 in lib/public_key/src/public_key.erl falls back to the subject commonName when no subjectAltName is present, extracting id-at-commonName attributes as presented IDs and matching them against the reference hostname. The strict pkix_verify_hostname_match_fun(https) matcher does not suppress this fallback. The result is that path validation accepts a CN-only leaf under a DNS-constrained intermediate (no SAN means the nameConstraints are not triggered), and hostname verification then accepts it via the CN fallback. The bypass is reachable from stock ssl:connect with verify_peer, a trusted CA, SNI, and the canonical strict https hostname matcher. This issue affects OTP from OTP 19.3 before OTP 29.0.1, OTP 28.5.0.1, OTP 27.3.4.12 and OTP 26.2.5.21, corresponding to public_key from 1.4 before 1.21.1, 1.20.3.1, 1.17.1.3 and 1.15.1.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-69257 7.6 high 0.00% flowiseai, flowise Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.3, Flowise's HTTP security module httpSecurity.ts did not normalize IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses such as ::ffff:127.0.0.1 and ::ffff:169.254.169.254 before checking them against the deny list. Because ipaddr.js reports these addresses as ipv6 while IPv4 CIDR deny-list entries are ipv4, isDeniedIP() skipped the IPv4 CIDR checks. An attacker who controls DNS resolution for a hostname used by the HTTP Node, API Chain, Document Loader, MCP tool, or other paths using secureAxiosRequest(), secureFetch(), or checkDenyList() could return a AAAA record for an IPv4-mapped target and cause requests to reach localhost, internal services, or cloud metadata endpoints. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.3. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-115863 7.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet ConnMan through 2.0 has a stack-based buffer overflow via a DHCPv6 Reply message. This occurs in get_domains in gdhcp/client.c. It copies a fixed NS_MAXDNAME (1025) bytes from a DHCPv6 DOMAIN_LIST (option 24) value into a 1026-byte stack buffer dns_name regardless of the actual option length, then walks DNS labels with an unbounded "c += jump + 1" loop. A crafted DHCPv6 REPLY with a DOMAIN_LIST option of >= 1025 non-zero bytes makes the label walk leave the buffer and read/write '.' past its end in attacker-chosen strides. An on-link attacker can trigger this without authentication via a forged Router Advertisement (O=1) and a forged DHCPv6 REPLY matching xid/CLIENTID with a long DOMAIN_LIST. The impact is unauthenticated on-link crash of connmand (runs as root). This was introduced in bb06c47. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-92543 7.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Docker Engine classifies a registry hostname as insecure using an any-match DNS check. loadInsecureRegistries() injects 127.0.0.0/8 and ::1/128 as insecure CIDRs by default. isCIDRMatch resolves all of the hostname's addresses and returns true if a single address is in the insecure CIDR list. Because the transport re-dials the hostname rather than the CIDR-matching address, a DNS answer set of one loopback IP plus a non-loopback attacker IP disables certificate verification and enables HTTP fallback for the registry connection. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-45741 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Gotenberg is a Docker-powered stateless API for PDF files. In 8.32.0 and earlier, the IsPublicIP function in pkg/gotenberg/outbound.go does not reject the 2002::/16 6to4 prefix, the 64:ff9b::/96 and 64:ff9b:1::/48 NAT64 prefixes, the fec0::/10 deprecated site-local prefix, Teredo, and other transition prefixes that can embed or route to non-public IPv4 destinations. The addr.Unmap operation only handles IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses, so a crafted DNS AAAA record can cause the outbound HTTP client to treat an address wrapping an internal destination such as 169.254.169.254 as public. An unauthenticated attacker can use a conversion route with WithDenyPrivateIPs enabled to reach cloud metadata services, and the Chromium URL conversion route can return the internal response as a PDF, potentially exposing cloud credentials. Exploitation requires a deployment whose host routes the relevant IPv6 prefix, such as a dual-stack or NAT64-enabled environment. This issue is fixed in version 8.33.0. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-19630 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet In a BIND resolver, inbound DNS protocol messages with a particular structure will result in additional processing, with no limit imposed by BIND. A DNS message with a maliciously large number of such structures will cause BIND to consume disproportionate amounts of CPU time and memory during processing. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.29, 9.21.0 through 9.21.26, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.29-S1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33610 7.5 high 0.00% powerdns, authoritative A rogue primary server may cause file descriptor exhaustion and eventually a denial of service, when a PowerDNS secondary server forwards a DNS update request to it. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-48497 7.5 high 0.00% envoyproxy, envoy Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.35.11, 1.36.7, 1.37.3, and 1.38.1, in cases where UDP DNS filter is configured with local resolution containing a name with the length of 255 octets or remote resolution for a name of 255 octets long can complete successfully, a query with such name will result in abnormal process termination. The abnormal process termination is triggered by an invalid runtime precondition that the query name is strictly less than 255 octets, contradicting DNS specification rfc1035#section-2.3.4 that the name can be 255 or less octets. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.35.11, 1.36.7, 1.37.3, and 1.38.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-55524 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions prior to 1.6.58, the web_crawl tool performs its SSRF check only on the initially supplied URL, allowing the protection to be bypassed so the tool connects to attacker-chosen internal destinations. The check resolves the hostname once with socket.gethostbyname and rejects private/loopback/link-local results, but then passes the URL to a fetcher using httpx.Client(follow_redirects=True) (or urllib.request.urlopen when httpx is absent, which also follows redirects) that re-resolves the hostname at connect time with no further validation. This validate-here/fetch-there gap is exploitable through both HTTP redirects and DNS rebinding. If an attacker can influence URLs passed to web_crawl(), directly or through an agent/tool workflow, they can cause the PraisonAI host to fetch loopback, private-network, or cloud metadata endpoints reachable from that host, with the response body returned in the web_crawl() result. This issue has been fixed in version 1.6.58. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-32665 7.5 high 0.00% nlnetlabs, unbound In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.22.0 up to and including 1.25.1, when downstream DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) is enabled, the first two bidirectional streams on a new QUIC connection (stream_id 0 and 4) bypass the per-stream 'quic-size' gate entirely, and large input buffers are allocated later, after only the 2-byte length prefix has been received from the initial streams. As a result, a remote client can make Unbound exceed the configured 'quic-size' limit with low-cost input. Using only one connection and two streams, each sending a declared 65535-byte length prefix and then holding the streams open, a client can already trivially make Unbound roughly allocate double that amount. This is a remote availability issue / memory-accounting bypass in the downstream DoQ implementation that leads to denial of service for new DoQ clients. This vulnerability needs Unbound to be compiled with DoQ support ('--with-libngtcp2') and the 'quic-port' to be configured for the listening interfaces. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-44690 7.5 high 0.00% nlnetlabs, unbound In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.7.0 up to and including 1.25.1, insufficient validation of the RRSIG.Labels field combined with premature cache writes during RFC 8198 aggressive NSEC processing leads to cache poisoning that permits a malicious actor controlling a single delegated zone to poison arbitrary sibling zones under NSEC-signed parent domains. A malicious actor with one registered domain under an NSEC-signed TLD can serve malicious insecure DNS responses for unrelated sibling domains (sharing the same parent zone). Arbitrary delegations that do not exist under the parent domain and are covered by the parent's NSEC chain can be brought into insecure existence by fraudulent wildcard DS records (less labels than expected, unknown algorithm) from the malicious sibling domain. This allows the malicious actor to inject insecure wildcard records for those delegations. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-55973 7.5 high 0.00% nlnetlabs, unbound In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.23.0 up to and including 1.25.1, when 'dns-error-reporting: yes' is set, the EDNS Report-Channel option (code 18) from the last upstream response is read and uses the option's length as the length of the agent domain. When a domain name check is performed on the agent domain, the returned lenght is not used and if the agent domain is followed by garbage, those bytes are moved onto the tail of the synthetic '_er.' report query name. That query name is later used in the iterator via a subquery to send out the DNS Error Report and when Unbound tries to walk that query name during 'find_closest_of_type()', it strips labels using the query name length rather than stopping at the embedded root, walks one byte past it, and feeds the first garbage byte to 'dname_query_hash()' as a label length writing over the stack variable 'labuf'. One ordinary upstream response from a delegated zone the attacker controls is sufficient to terminate the daemon. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-55391 7.5 high 0.00% koxudaxi, datamodel-code-generator datamodel-code-generator generates Pydantic v2 models, dataclasses, TypedDict, and msgspec.Struct from OpenAPI, JSON Schema, GraphQL, Avro, Protobuf, and raw JSON, YAML, or CSV. Prior to 0.63.0, datamodel-code-generator validates a URL host once in src/datamodel_code_generator/http.py through get_body, _validate_url_for_fetch, and _get_ips_from_host, but then lets httpx resolve the host again for the connection, allowing DNS rebinding to bypass allow_private_network=False and reach internal services. This issue is fixed in version 0.63.0. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-114605 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet dnspython is a DNS toolkit for Python. Prior to 2.9.0, dns.name.from_wire_parser follows attacker-controlled DNS compression pointer chains without a hop limit. A malicious DNS wire-format message can force excessive pointer traversal during name decompression, causing high CPU use, application degradation, or denial of service in applications that process untrusted DNS messages. This issue is fixed in version 2.9.0. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-70357 7.5 high 0.00% gitea Gitea validates a repository migration hostname against its network allow and block lists before invoking Git, but the Git subprocess independently resolves the hostname when connecting. An attacker who can start a migration and control the destination's DNS can change the address between validation and connection to reach a blocked internal address. The affected path is the Git clone operation; validation in the migration HTTP client's dialer does not protect the independently connecting Git subprocess. 13 Oct
CVE-2025-11678 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Stack-based Buffer Overflow in lws_adns_parse_label in warmcat libwebsockets allows, when the LWS_WITH_SYS_ASYNC_DNS flag is enabled during compilation, to overflow the label_stack, when the attacker is able to sniff a DNS request in order to craft a response with a matching id containing a label longer than the maximum. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-104659 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Missing Host header validation and missing throttling of failed administrator sign-ins in the REST API listener of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allow a remote attacker to brute-force the server administrator's password through the administrator's own browser by DNS rebinding. The listener, which is off by default and bound to the loopback when enabled, answered requests whatever their Host header named, and a failed sign-in with the administrator's password from the loopback was neither auto-banned nor delayed. A web page whose host name the attacker rebinds to 127.0.0.1, opened in a browser on the server, can therefore send authenticated requests to the listener, read the answers and try administrator passwords at full speed until one is accepted, giving the attacker full administrative control of the mail server. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-44467 7.4 high 0.00% anthropic, claude_desktop The Claude Desktop app gives you Claude Code with a graphical interface built for running multiple sessions side by side. From 1.2581.0 to before 1.4304.0, Claude Desktop's SSH remote development feature verified only whether a hostname existed in ~/.ssh/known_hosts without comparing the server's presented host key against the stored key. This allowed a network-positioned attacker to present an arbitrary SSH host key and have the connection silently accepted, enabling a man-in-the-middle attack on remote development sessions. Successful exploitation required the attacker to be in a network position to intercept SSH traffic (e.g., via ARP spoofing, rogue Wi-Fi, or DNS poisoning) and the target hostname to already have an entry in the victim's known_hosts file. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4304.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-10652 7.4 high 0.00% zephyrproject, zephyr Zephyr's DNS resolver (subsys/net/lib/dns) parses resource records from DNS responses in dns_unpack_answer(), which validated only the fixed RR header (type, class, TTL, rdlength) and accepted any attacker-declared rdlength, including one extending past the end of the received datagram. The TXT and SRV consumers in dns_validate_record() (resolve.c) then read up to rdlength bytes (clamped only to a record-type maximum such as DNS_MAX_TEXT_SIZE, default 64, not to the packet) from the receive buffer via memcpy without their own bounds check, and pass the result to the application's resolve callback. A malicious or spoofed DNS server, an on-path attacker forging UDP DNS replies, or (with mDNS/LLMNR enabled) any LAN node can craft a truncated TXT or SRV response that causes an out-of-bounds read of adjacent receive-pool memory; the disclosed stale bytes (residual contents of prior DNS packets / uninitialized pool memory) are returned to the application as TXT/SRV record contents, an information leak, and may in some configurations cross the allocation boundary and fault, causing a denial of service. The read is bounded (~64 bytes for TXT, ~6 for SRV) and read-only (no write). The fix rejects any record whose declared rdata extends past dns_msg->msg_size at the single chokepoint in dns_unpack_answer(). Affected: v4.3.0 and v4.4.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-10646 7.4 high 0.00% zephyrproject, zephyr Zephyr's BSD-sockets getaddrinfo() implementation (subsys/net/lib/sockets/getaddrinfo.c) passes a pointer to a stack-allocated state object (struct getaddrinfo_state ai_state) as the user_data of an asynchronous DNS resolver query. The socket layer waits on a semaphore with a timeout deliberately set slightly longer than the resolver's own per-query timeout. When that semaphore wait nonetheless times out (-EAGAIN) - which can occur when the resolver's timeout work is delayed by workqueue contention, or in the documented multi-retry configuration where CONFIG_NET_SOCKETS_DNS_TIMEOUT exceeds CONFIG_NET_SOCKETS_DNS_BACKOFF_INTERVAL - the pre-fix code retries the query (goto again) without cancelling the previous one and without resetting the semaphore. The previous query slot remains active in the resolver with its callback and the stack pointer as user_data, and ai_state->dns_id is overwritten so the stale query can no longer be cancelled. A subsequent DNS response delivered over UDP and matched by its 16-bit transaction id (in dispatcher_cb()/dns_read()), or the resolver's own delayed query-timeout work, then invokes dns_resolve_cb() against the now out-of-scope stack frame, writing through the stale pointer (state->status, state->idx, state->ai_arr[], and k_sem_give()). Because the triggering response is network-delivered and its 16-bit id is spoofable/replayable by an on- or off-path attacker, this is a network-influenceable use-after-return that can corrupt reused stack memory, leading to crashes/denial of service or memory corruption. The fix cancels the timed-out query by name and type before retrying and resets the local semaphore, eliminating the stale callback path. Affected: Zephyr v4.0.0 through v4.4.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-56676 7.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet 9Router is an AI router & token saver. Prior to 0.5.2, 9router validates image URLs by resolving the host before fetching, but open-sse/translator/concerns/image.js performs the later server-side image fetch with a separate DNS resolution. An authenticated attacker with access to the LLM proxy can use a vision-capable model and an attacker-controlled DNS name that first resolves to a public IP and then rebinds to an internal address, allowing server-side requests to internal-only HTTP services. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.2. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-84975 7.4 high 0.00% teluu, pjsip PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.17 and earlier, the OpenSSL and GnuTLS backends in pjlib/src/pj/ssl_sock_ossl.c and pjlib/src/pj/ssl_sock_gtls.c copy DNS SubjectAltName values with string functions that recalculate their length and truncate an embedded NUL byte. With server verification enabled through --tls-verify-server for the PJSIP TLS/SIPS transport, a certificate containing a DNS SubjectAltName formed from the target hostname prefix followed by an embedded NUL and an attacker-controlled suffix can therefore be accepted for the prefix hostname. An attacker who possesses such a certificate from a trusted issuer and can intercept the connection can impersonate the target server, complete the SIP session, and receive REGISTER credentials. The mbedTLS backend is not affected because it preserves the explicit string length. No fixed version is available as of this review. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-107584 7.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 fails open when applying DANE (RFC 7672) to outbound SMTP delivery. The server's validating DNSSEC resolver treated a TLSA or MX lookup that did not complete (no answer, SERVFAIL, a malformed reply), an answer without the requested records and without an NSEC/NSEC3 proof of their absence, and an answer whose records carried no applicable RRSIG as if the recipient domain were unsigned, and from 6.2.19 it also delivered to mail exchangers taken from an unvalidated MX lookup that the DNSSEC-validated MX record set did not name. An attacker who can drop, forge or strip DNS answers on the path to the server's resolver, at the resolver, or between the resolver and the recipient domain's name servers, and who holds an active position on the SMTP path, can thereby disable DANE for a DNSSEC-signed recipient domain and cause messages to be delivered in cleartext or to a host of the attacker's choosing with an arbitrary certificate, where they can be read and modified. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-64443 7.3 high 0.00% docker, mcp_gateway MCP Gateway allows easy and secure running and deployment of MCP servers. In versions 0.27.0 and earlier, when MCP Gateway runs in sse or streaming transport mode, it is vulnerable to DNS rebinding. An attacker who can get a victim to visit a malicious website or be served a malicious advertisement can perform browser-based exploitation of MCP servers executing behind the gateway, including manipulating tools or other features exposed by those MCP servers. MCP Gateway is not affected when running in the default stdio mode, which does not listen on network ports. Version 0.28.0 fixes this issue. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-7424 7.2 high 0.00% amazon, freertos-plus-tcp Integer underflow in the DHCPv6 sub-option parser in FreeRTOS-Plus-TCP before V4.4.1 and V4.2.6 allows an adjacent network actor to corrupt the device's IPv6 address assignment, DNS configuration, and lease times, and to cause a denial of service (permanent IP task freeze requiring hardware reset) by sending a single crafted DHCPv6 packet. The issue is present whenever DHCPv6 is enabled. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to version V4.2.6 or V4.4.1 or newer. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-29004 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet BusyBox before commit 42202bf contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the DHCPv6 client (udhcpc6) DNS_SERVERS option handler in networking/udhcp/d6_dhcpc.c that allows network-adjacent attackers to trigger memory corruption by sending a crafted DHCPv6 response with a malformed D6_OPT_DNS_SERVERS option. Attackers can exploit incorrect heap buffer allocation calculations in the option_to_env() function to cause denial of service or achieve arbitrary code execution on embedded systems without heap hardening. CVE-2026-0264 7.2 high 0.00% paloaltonetworks, siemens, pan-os, ruggedcom_ape1808_firmware A buffer overflow vulnerability in the DNS proxy and DNS Server features of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® Software allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition (all PAN-OS platforms except Cloud NGFW and Prisma Access) or potentially execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted network traffic (PA-Series hardware only). Panorama, Cloud NGFW, and Prisma® Access are not impacted by this vulnerability. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-107858 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet Missing Origin Validation in WebSockets (CWE-1385) and Permissive Cross-domain Policy with Untrusted Domains (CWE-942) in the development web server (ADK Web) in Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) for Java (com.google.adk:google-adk-dev versions 0.1.0 before 1.13.0 and com.google.adk:google-adk-maven-plugin versions 0.3.0 before 1.13.0) allow a remote attacker to control a locally running agent and read its data via a malicious web page visited by a developer while the server is running. The /run_live WebSocket endpoint accepts connections from any origin by default (hardcoded via setAllowedOrigins("*") in versions 0.1.0 through 1.5.0, and defaulting to * via adk.web.cors.origins in versions 1.6.0 through 1.12.0), and since version 0.4.0 the REST API returns Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * by default. Because the server has no authentication and requests originate from the developer's browser (so binding to localhost does not prevent exploitation), a cross-origin page can send messages to the agent (triggering registered tools), stream agent responses, and list, read, create, or delete sessions and artifacts. In versions 1.6.0 through 1.12.0, users can mitigate the issue by setting the adk.web.cors.origins property to an explicit allowlist of trusted origins (such as http://localhost:8000). The vulnerability is fixed in version 1.13.0, which enforces a same-origin default for CORS and the /run_live WebSocket endpoint, and rejects DNS-rebinding requests over loopback. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-42012 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted certificate that contains Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) or Service (SRV) Subject Alternative Names (SANs). This could cause the certificate validation process to incorrectly fall back to checking DNS hostnames against the Common Name (CN), potentially allowing the attacker to spoof legitimate services or intercept sensitive information. 19 h ago
CVE-2026-41272 7.1 high 0.00% flowiseai, flowise Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.0, the core security wrappers (secureAxiosRequest and secureFetch) intended to prevent Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) contain multiple logic flaws. These flaws allow attackers to bypass the allow/deny lists via DNS Rebinding (Time-of-Check Time-of-Use) or by exploiting the default configuration which fails to enforce any deny list. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54491 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Koel is a free, open-source music streaming solution. Prior to 9.7.1, outbound podcast and radio fetch paths perform a point-in-time App\Helpers\Network::isPublicHost() or isSafeUrl() check without pinning the validated address, and most paths lack redirect-hop validation and do not revalidate every redirect target. PhanAn\Poddle\Poddle::fromUrl(), PodcastService::getStreamableUrl(), PodcastService::isPodcastObsolete(), App\Rules\HasAudioContentType, and App\Rules\SafeUrl can therefore follow an attacker-controlled redirect to an internal address or connect after DNS rebinding changes a public resolution to a private one. These paths are reachable through podcast and radio APIs, including createPodcastChannel, createInternetRadioStation, refreshPodcasts, apiResource podcasts, and radio/stations, allowing an authenticated user to request internal services or cloud metadata and potentially receive parsed or streamed response content. This issue is fixed in version 9.7.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-46555 7.1 high 0.00% verygoodplugins, whatsapp_mcp_server WhatsApp MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for WhatsApp, enabling Claude to read and send WhatsApp messages. Prior to version 0.2.1, the `whatsapp-bridge` HTTP API listens on `127.0.0.1:8080` without authentication and without Host header validation, and the `/api/send` endpoint accepts an absolute `media_path` parameter without confining it to a safe directory. Combined, these issues allow any local process running as the same user as the bridge to send WhatsApp messages from the paired account without authorization; the same caller to read arbitrary files readable by the user (e.g. SSH private keys, browser session data, source code, dotfiles) and exfiltrate them as WhatsApp document attachments; and/or a remote attacker to trigger the same operations via DNS rebinding from a webpage the user visits, since no Host header validation is performed. In MCP environments, "local caller" extends beyond processes the user explicitly launched — sibling MCP servers, IDE extensions, and tool-triggered flows running in the user's session can act as the effective caller. This issue is fixed in whatsapp-mcp v0.2.1 and corresponding Docker images / release artifacts. Users should upgrade immediately. The fix introduces bearer token authentication on the bridge HTTP API (configured via environment variable, required on all requests, validated with constant-time comparison); host header allow-list validation to prevent DNS rebinding; and confinement of `media_path` to a configured directory, with rejection of absolute paths outside the root and path traversal sequences. This is a breaking change for clients of the bridge API. For users who cannot immediately upgrade: Stop the bridge, or block loopback access to port 8080, when the bridge is not actively in use; avoid running the bridge alongside untrusted MCP servers, browser extensions, or other untrusted local processes; avoid browsing untrusted sites while the bridge is running (DNS rebinding mitigation); and/or run the bridge under a dedicated user account or in a sandbox/container with no access to sensitive files. CVE-2026-75844 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet ArcadeDB versions before 26.8.1 contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the IMPORT DATABASE command where the security validator resolves and checks hostnames but the subsequent connection re-resolves the raw URL and follows redirects. Authenticated attackers can bypass the validator using DNS rebinding or HTTP redirects to access cloud metadata endpoints, internal services, or read arbitrary local files on default installations. 22 Oct
