CVE-2025-66908 5.3 medium 0.00% turms-im, turms Turms AI-Serving module v0.10.0-SNAPSHOT and earlier contains an improper file type validation vulnerability in the OCR image upload functionality. The OcrController in turms-ai-serving/src/main/java/im/turms/ai/domain/ocr/controller/OcrController.java uses the @FormData(contentType = MediaTypeConst.IMAGE) annotation to restrict uploads to image files, but this constraint is not properly enforced. The system relies solely on client-provided Content-Type headers and file extensions without validating actual file content using magic bytes (file signatures). An attacker can upload arbitrary file types including executables, scripts, HTML, or web shells by setting the Content-Type header to "image/*" or using an image file extension. This bypass enables potential server-side code execution, stored XSS, or information disclosure depending on how uploaded files are processed and served. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-65632 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The jose library accepts ECDSA (ES256, ES256K, ES384, and ES512) JWS signatures of a non-canonical length. When verifying an ECDSA signature, jose_jwk_kty_ec:verify/4 in src/jwk/jose_jwk_kty_ec.erl splits the raw signature in half by its actual byte length (split_binary(Signature, byte_size(Signature) div 2)) instead of enforcing the fixed length required by RFC 7518 §3.4, and then decodes each half with crypto:bytes_to_integer/1, which ignores leading zero bytes. As a result, an attacker who holds one valid token can prepend leading zero bytes to each of the R and S halves to produce longer signatures that still split evenly and decode to the same (r, s) pair, so many distinct signature byte strings all verify against the same key (signature malleability). This does not allow forging new payloads or impersonating a signer, because the underlying (r, s) values are unchanged. It does defeat any security control that assumes a valid token or its signature is unique, such as token-revocation-by-hash, replay or idempotency caches, and deduplication logic. This issue affects jose: from 1.0.0 before 1.11.13. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-26927 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Szafir SDK Web is a browser plug-in that can run SzafirHost application which download the necessary files when launched. In Szafir SDK Web it is possible to change the URL (HTTP Origin) of the application call location. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a website that is able to launch SzafirHost application with arbitrary arguments via Szafir SDK Web browser addon. No validation will be performed to check whether the address specified in `document_base_url` parameter is in any way related to the actual address of the calling web application. The URL address specified in `document_base_url` parameter is then shown in the application confirmation prompt. When a victim confirms the execution of the application, it will be called in the context of attacker's website URL and might download additional files and libraries from that website. When victim accepts the application execution for the URL showed in the confirmation prompt with the "remember" option before, the prompt won't be shown and the application will be called in the context of URL provided by the attacker without any interaction. This issue was fixed in version 0.0.17.4. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-46526 5.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Local Deep Research is an AI-powered research assistant for deep, iterative research. Prior to 1.6.10, the URL checking logic in local-deep-research has a logical flaw that could be bypassed by attackers, leading to SSRF attacks. The current project uses validate_url to validate the input URL. The main logic is to perform security checks on the host portion of the URL extracted by urlparse to prevent SSRF attacks. However, there are indeed differences in parsing between urlparse and the library that actually sends the request. For example, in safe_get, validate_url is first used to perform an SSRF check, and then requests.get is used to send the actual request. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.6.10. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54055 5.0 medium 0.00% kovidgoyal, kitty Kitty is a cross-platform GPU based terminal. In versions prior to 0.47.2, a local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in kitty's file transmission protocol where a child process running in the terminal can write to arbitrary files on the filesystem by exploiting a TOCTOU (Time-of-Check-Time-of-Use) race condition between symlink validation and file creation. The `os.open()` call used to create files does not use `O_NOFOLLOW`, allowing an attacker to create a symlink between the initial stat check and the actual file open, causing the write to follow the symlink to an arbitrary destination. Version 0.47.2 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42890 4.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Actual is an open-source personal finance application. In the macOS desktop application version 25.x (built on Electron 39.2.7), the ELECTRON_RUN_AS_NODE fuse is not disabled, allowing an attacker who can place a file on disk or control command-line arguments to invoke the signed Actual.app binary with the ELECTRON_RUN_AS_NODE=1 environment variable set. This converts the application into a Node.js REPL capable of executing arbitrary code that inherits the application's entitlements and code signature, bypassing macOS Gatekeeper review. Version 26.5.0 patches the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44659 4.7 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Zen is a firefox-based browser. Prior to 1.19.12b, the ZEN Browser incorrectly truncates long hostnames in the address bar and shows only the attacker-controlled prefix of the subdomain, hiding the actual registrable domain (eTLD+1). As a result, an attacker can craft extremely long malicious subdomains that visually imitate trusted brands, and the browser will display only the spoofed prefix, misleading users about the actual origin of the site. This directly compromises the URL bar as a security indicator and creates a phishing/supply-chain attack vector. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.19.12b. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-45949 4.7 medium 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwrng: core - use RCU and work_struct to fix race condition Currently, hwrng_fill is not cleared until the hwrng_fillfn() thread exits. Since hwrng_unregister() reads hwrng_fill outside the rng_mutex lock, a concurrent hwrng_unregister() may call kthread_stop() again on the same task. Additionally, if hwrng_unregister() is called immediately after hwrng_register(), the stopped thread may have never been executed. Thus, hwrng_fill remains dirty even after hwrng_unregister() returns. In this case, subsequent calls to hwrng_register() will fail to start new threads, and hwrng_unregister() will call kthread_stop() on the same freed task. In both cases, a use-after-free occurs: refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free. WARNING: ... at lib/refcount.c:25 refcount_warn_saturate+0xec/0x1c0 Call Trace: kthread_stop+0x181/0x360 hwrng_unregister+0x288/0x380 virtrng_remove+0xe3/0x200 This patch fixes the race by protecting the global hwrng_fill pointer inside the rng_mutex lock, so that hwrng_fillfn() thread is stopped only once, and calls to kthread_run() and kthread_stop() are serialized with the lock held. To avoid deadlock in hwrng_fillfn() while being stopped with the lock held, we convert current_rng to RCU, so that get_current_rng() can read current_rng without holding the lock. To remove the lock from put_rng(), we also delay the actual cleanup into a work_struct. Since get_current_rng() no longer returns ERR_PTR values, the IS_ERR() checks are removed from its callers. With hwrng_fill protected by the rng_mutex lock, hwrng_fillfn() can no longer clear hwrng_fill itself. Therefore, if hwrng_fillfn() returns directly after current_rng is dropped, kthread_stop() would be called on a freed task_struct later. To fix this, hwrng_fillfn() calls schedule() now to keep the task alive until being stopped. The kthread_stop() call is also moved from hwrng_unregister() to drop_current_rng(), ensuring kthread_stop() is called on all possible paths where current_rng becomes NULL, so that the thread would not wait forever. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-46672 4.6 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Actual is a local-first personal finance app. Prior to 26.6.0, @actual-app/cli ships a hand-rolled CSV serializer in packages/cli/src/output.ts used whenever the global --format csv option is passed, whose escapeCsv helper only handles RFC 4180 delimiter, quote, and newline escaping and does not neutralize standard CSV formula-injection prefixes. Any CLI command that streams an object array containing user-controlled strings, including transactions list, accounts list, payees list, categories list, tags list, category-groups list, rules list, schedules list, and query, can emit cells that auto-evaluate when the resulting CSV is opened in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets, enabling data exfiltration and arbitrary formula execution. This issue is fixed in version 26.6.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-35347 4.4 medium 0.00% uutils, coreutils The comm utility in uutils coreutils incorrectly consumes data from non-regular file inputs before performing comparison operations. The are_files_identical function opens and reads from both input paths to compare content without first verifying if the paths refer to regular files. If an input path is a FIFO or a pipe, this pre-read operation drains the stream, leading to silent data loss before the actual comparison logic is executed. Additionally, the utility may hang indefinitely if it attempts to pre-read from infinite streams like /dev/zero. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-46700 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Actual is a local-first personal finance tool. Prior to 26.6.0, the GET /secret/:name endpoint in @actual-app/sync-server checks only that the caller has a valid session and does not verify the caller is an admin, while the sibling POST /secret/ handler enforces an admin check in OpenID mode. Any authenticated non-admin BASIC user in OpenID multi-user deployments can probe the secrets store and learn which admin-managed bank-sync integrations have been configured, including simplefin_accessKey, pluggyai_clientSecret, pluggyai_itemIds, and the gocardless secrets. This issue is fixed in version 26.6.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-71322 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Lemur manages TLS certificate creation. Prior to 1.9.3, CertificateExport placed its CertificatePermission ownership check inside the plugin.requires_key branch for POST /api/1/certificates//export. A plugin declaring requires_key false bypassed that check, and the handler still passed cert.private_key as an argument and recorded a key_view audit event. The bundled JavaTruststoreExportPlugin ignored the key, so the immediate exposure was limited to public certificate material and misleading audit entries, but a future plugin could have consumed the supplied key. The fix passes no private key to plugins that do not require one and confines ownership checks and key_view logging to actual private-key exports. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.3. 22 Oct
CVE-2025-58156 4.3 medium 0.00% nofusscomputing, centurion_erp Centurion ERP is an ERP with a focus on ITSM and automation. In versions starting from 1.12.0 to before 1.21.0, an authenticated user can view all authentication token details within the database. This includes the actual token, although only the hashed token. This does not include any un-hashed authentication token as viewable. This issue has been patched in version 1.21.0. A workaround for this is not deemed viable as it would involve disabling token authentication. Users are encouraged to remove any authentication token that was created by one of the effected versions of Centurion ERP. Webmasters can ensure this occurs by removing all authentication tokens from the database. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-61422 4.3 medium 0.00% apache, cloudstack Authenticated pre-validation SSRF vulnerability in Apache CloudStack's template and ISO registration functionality. When registering a template or ISO, CloudStack makes a live HTTP HEAD/GET call to determine file size for secondary storage usage-limit checks, and this happens before URL validation is performed. However, this does not pose a malicious template or ISO registration risk, as URL validation still occurs prior to the actual download by the Secondary Storage VM.This issue affects Apache CloudStack: in 4.20.3.0 and from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.3.1 or 4.22.1.1 or later, which fixes the issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-50179 4.2 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Actual is a local-first personal finance tool. Prior to 26.6.0, exportToCSV and exportQueryToCSV in packages/loot-core/src/server/transactions/export/export-to-csv.ts pass user-controlled Payee, Notes, Account, and Category strings to csv-stringify with no cast callback and no formula-prefix neutralization. Strings that begin with equals sign, plus, minus, at sign, tab, or carriage return survive verbatim into the exported CSV, and when a recipient opens the file in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets, the strings are interpreted as formulas, enabling transaction data exfiltration and attacker-chosen spreadsheet display values. This issue is fixed in version 26.6.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-119280 3.7 low 0.00% mariadb-corporation, mariadb-connector-j MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the MariaDbPoolConnection.recover() and MariaDbPoolPinnedConnection.recover() implementations trusted the gtrid_length and bqual_length columns returned by XA RECOVER. The methods allocated and split Xid byte arrays without validating the lengths against Xid.MAXGTRIDSIZE, Xid.MAXBQUALSIZE, or the actual data payload. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could cause large allocations, NegativeArraySizeException, or ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException during XA recovery. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-115449 3.5 low 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in libslirp. When handling ICMP echo requests, the reply length is not updated to match the actual data received from the host. Under specific conditions where the normal ICMP socket is unavailable, this length mismatch causes the host's real IP address to be leaked to the guest in the echo reply, breaking the NAT isolation that user-mode networking is expected to provide. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-41488 3.1 low 0.00% langchain, langchain-openai LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications. Prior to 1.1.14, langchain-openai's _url_to_size() helper (used by get_num_tokens_from_messages for image token counting) validated URLs for SSRF protection and then fetched them in a separate network operation with independent DNS resolution. This left a TOCTOU / DNS rebinding window: an attacker-controlled hostname could resolve to a public IP during validation and then to a private/localhost IP during the actual fetch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49262 3.0 low 0.00% no CPE yet In the Aimeos Pagible content management system prior to version 0.10.4, the administrative proxy route (`cmsproxy`) is vulnerable to a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attack via DNS Rebinding. A Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition exists between the URL validation phase and the actual HTTP request phase, allowing attackers to access internal network resources and cloud metadata endpoints. Version 0.10.4 fixes the issue. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-33948 2.9 low 0.00% jqlang, jq jq is a command-line JSON processor. Commits before 6374ae0bcdfe33a18eb0ae6db28493b1f34a0a5b contain a vulnerability where CLI input parsing allows validation bypass via embedded NUL bytes. When reading JSON from files or stdin, jq uses strlen() to determine buffer length instead of the actual byte count from fgets(), causing it to truncate input at the first NUL byte and parse only the preceding prefix. This enables an attacker to craft input with a benign JSON prefix before a NUL byte followed by malicious trailing data, where jq validates only the prefix as valid JSON while silently discarding the suffix. Workflows relying on jq to validate untrusted JSON before forwarding it to downstream consumers are susceptible to parser differential attacks, as those consumers may process the full input including the malicious trailing bytes. This issue has been patched by commit 6374ae0bcdfe33a18eb0ae6db28493b1f34a0a5b. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-16577 2.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet The Dokan: AI Powered WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace Solution WordPress plugin before 5.0.14 does not validate a client-supplied payment amount against the vendor's actual outstanding balance when recording a reverse-withdrawal payment, allowing a vendor to credit their reverse-withdrawal ledger with an arbitrary amount and clear their real commission debt without paying. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-61840 2.3 low 0.00% vantern-org, questbot Quest Bot is an opensource Discord Bot. Prior to 1.1.9, the `image to GIF` command uses a request helper that validates a hostname's public IP addresses but then sends the actual request by hostname, causing a `second DNS lookup`. An attacker controlling a domain can return a public address during validation and an internal address during the connection, bypassing the internal-address protection through `DNS rebinding`. The command takes its address directly from user input and its developer-only gate is disabled in normal deployments, so any member of a server with the bot can trigger the flaw without special permissions. Requests are restricted to `HTTPS on port 443`, and content is returned only when the response is a `genuine image`. The impact is therefore mostly blind internal probing with limited retrieval of image responses from loopback or internal endpoints, not arbitrary internal-data disclosure. Common cloud metadata services using plain HTTP on another port are not reachable through this path. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.9. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-16129 1.9 low 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability has been found in princezuda SafestClaw up to 4.2.4. This vulnerability affects the function ShellAction._validate_command of the file src/safestclaw/actions/shell.py of the component Built-in Web Interface. Such manipulation leads to incomplete blacklist. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The presence of this vulnerability remains uncertain at this time. The project maintainer explains: "On paper you're correct, this is a vulnerability. In practice, nothing your AI generated shows how it makes users vulnerable. It's open source. Someone can mod the shell allow list or remove that system. Present an actual poc that shows a threat to users." 24 Oct
CVE-2025-12207 1.9 low 0.00% kamailio A vulnerability has been found in Kamailio 5.5. This affects the function yyerror_at of the file src/core/cfg.y of the component Grammar Rule Handler. Such manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. The attack needs to be performed locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The actual existence of this vulnerability is currently in question. This attack requires manipulating config files which might not be a realistic scenario in many cases. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-11489 1.1 low 0.00% wonderwhy-er, desktopcommandermcp A security vulnerability has been detected in wonderwhy-er DesktopCommanderMCP up to 0.2.13. This vulnerability affects the function isPathAllowed of the file src/tools/filesystem.ts. The manipulation leads to symlink following. The attack can only be performed from a local environment. The attack's complexity is rated as high. It is stated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor explains: "Our restriction features are designed as guardrails for LLMs to help them stay closer to what users want, rather than hardened security boundaries. (...) For users where security is a top priority, we continue to recommend using Desktop Commander with Docker, which provides actual isolation. (...) We'll keep this issue open for future consideration if we receive more user demand for improved restrictions." This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-54515 1.0 low 0.00% no CPE yet The Secure Flag passed to Versal™ Adaptive SoC’s Trusted Firmware for Cortex®-A processors (TF-A) for Arm’s Power State Coordination Interface (PSCI) commands were incorrectly set to secure instead of using the processor’s actual security state. This would allow the PSCI requests to appear they were from processors in the secure state instead of the non-secure state. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-99107 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: fix incorrect MFT record pointer passed to ntfs_attr_record_resize ntfs_new_attr_flags() passes the wrong MFT record to ntfs_attr_record_resize(). When the attribute is in an extent record, ctx->mrec points to the extent but the function receives the base record pointer m, causing incorrect size calculations in memmove. Fix by passing ctx->mrec (the actual MFT record containing the attribute) instead of m (the base MFT record) to ntfs_attr_record_resize(). 15 h ago
CVE-2026-98687 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thunderbolt: Reject oversized XDomain properties responses tb_xdp_properties_request() allocates room for 45 data dwords in its 252-byte response buffer. The XDomain length field is six bits wide, however, and a malicious peer can set it to 63. After the fixed response fields are subtracted, the driver treats this as 48 data dwords. Commit 322e93448d90 ("thunderbolt: Clamp XDomain response data copy to allocation size") only bounds the copy against data_len. If data_len is at least 48, memcpy() reads 192 bytes from the 180-byte res->data array, causing a 12-byte heap out-of-bounds read. Commit 4db2bd2ed478 ("thunderbolt: Limit XDomain response copy to actual frame size") limits the earlier copy but does not constrain this header-derived length. Reject response data lengths that exceed the allocated source buffer before copying them into the assembled property block. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-90375 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: fix non-AQL packet accounting for MLO stations __mt76_tx_queue_skb() overrides the wcid passed by the driver with sta->drv_priv, so the wcid might incorrectly be changed after TX, causing wcid->non_aql_packets to be counted on the wrong wcid. For example, on the AP side, if a station's setup link is the 5G link and the station uses 2G to transmit a frame, the value of non_aql_packets is increased on the 5G wcid but decreased on the 2G wcid. Once the inflated counter exceeds MT_MAX_NON_AQL_PKT, the TX scheduler permanently refuses to service the station. Drop the reassignment and account on the wcid used for transmission. This also records the actual wcid in the queue entry. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-80907 unscored 0.00% linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Fix UVD dpb min size calculation for H264 This should use actual number of references from the decode message, instead of maximum derived from level. (cherry picked from commit 64b525edb7e7bdfcdc77883c5e413804e2396856) Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2025-68342 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(): check actual_length before accessing data The URB received in gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback() contains a struct gs_host_frame. The length of the data after the header depends on the gs_host_frame hf::flags and the active device features (e.g. time stamping). Introduce a new function gs_usb_get_minimum_length() and check that we have at least received the required amount of data before accessing it. Only copy the data to that skb that has actually been received. [mkl: rename gs_usb_get_minimum_length() -> +gs_usb_get_minimum_rx_length()] Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2024-35946 unscored 0.00% linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtw89: fix null pointer access when abort scan During cancel scan we might use vif that weren't scanning. Fix this by using the actual scanning vif. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-98906 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lan966x: restore RX state on reload failure lan966x_fdma_reload() backs up rx->page_pool and rx->fdma before reallocating the RX resources for the new MTU. If the allocation fails, the restore path puts these fields back before restarting RX. However, the reload path also updates rx->page_order and rx->max_mtu before calling lan966x_fdma_rx_alloc(). These fields are not restored on failure, so RX can be restarted with the old pages, old FDMA state and old page pool, but with the page geometry from the failed new MTU. This can make the XDP path advertise a frame size derived from the new page_order while the actual RX pages still come from the old allocation. For example, after a failed reload to a jumbo MTU, xdp_init_buff() may be called with a frame size larger than the restored RX pages. lan966x_fdma_rx_alloc_page_pool() also registers the newly allocated page pool with each port's XDP RXQ before fdma_alloc_coherent() is called. If fdma_alloc_coherent() fails, the new page pool is destroyed, but the rollback path does not restore the per-port XDP RXQ mem model registration either. Save and restore rx->page_order and rx->max_mtu, and restore the old page pool registration for each port's XDP RXQ before RX is started again. This keeps the restored RX state consistent after a failed reload. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-89673 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix XDR padding calculation in ff_encode_getdeviceinfo nfsd4_ff_encode_getdeviceinfo() computes the da_addr_body reservation as 16 + netid_len + addr_len, but the subsequent xdr_encode_opaque() calls emit 8 + round_up(netid_len, 4) + round_up(addr_len, 4) bytes. The mismatch means the declared da_addr_body length exceeds the actual encoded data by 2-8 bytes on every flexfile GETDEVICEINFO reply, leaking stale reply-page content to the client and mis-aligning the subsequent version list decode. Use xdr_align_size() for each string length to match what xdr_encode_opaque() actually writes. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-98925 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, sockmap: Fix self-redirect copied_seq double-counting When a BPF stream_verdict program redirects an skb back to the same socket (self-redirect with BPF_F_INGRESS), sk_psock_verdict_apply() calls tcp_eat_skb() which advances tcp_sk->copied_seq. However, the skb is then delivered to the socket's psock ingress queue and later read by tcp_bpf_recvmsg_parser(), which also advances copied_seq via the copied_from_self accounting path. This double-counting causes copied_seq to advance by 2x the actual data length, triggering: TCP recvmsg seq # bug 2: copied BF2E806, seq BF2E7FD, \ rcvnxt BF2E806, fl 0 WARNING: net/ipv4/tcp.c:2745 at tcp_recvmsg_locked+0x72b/0x2640 Call Trace: tcp_recvmsg+0x10a/0x500 sock_recvmsg+0x168/0x1d0 __sys_recvfrom+0x19a/0x2a0 __x64_sys_recvfrom+0xe4/0x1f0 do_syscall_64+0xf7/0x530 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f cleanup rbuf bug: copied BF2E806 seq BF2E806 rcvnxt BF2E806 WARNING: net/ipv4/tcp.c:1609 at tcp_cleanup_rbuf+0xf2/0x1c0 Call Trace: tcp_recvmsg_locked+0x8d1/0x2640 tcp_recvmsg+0x10a/0x500 sock_recvmsg+0x168/0x1d0 __sys_recvfrom+0x19a/0x2a0 __x64_sys_recvfrom+0xe4/0x1f0 do_syscall_64+0xf7/0x530 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f Fix this by converting self-redirect verdict to __SK_PASS at the beginning of sk_psock_verdict_apply(). This bypasses the __SK_REDIRECT case entirely (which calls sk_psock_eat_skb), letting the __SK_PASS path queue the skb to the psock ingress queue. The data is then read via tcp_bpf_recvmsg_parser(), which advances copied_seq exactly once through copied_from_self. Cross-socket redirects continue through __SK_REDIRECT with sk_psock_eat_skb() unchanged. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-98033 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Preserve inner map identity in callback frames Callback frame constructors initialize map-typed argument registers with __mark_reg_known_zero() and then restore map_ptr. This clears map_uid, which is the only field distinguishing inner maps that share an inner_map_meta template. When a timer callback invokes bpf_for_each_map_elem() on a second inner map, both the saved first map and the second map value can reach the nested callback as the same template with map_uid zero. bpf_timer_init() then accepts pairing the timer from the second map with the first map. The runtime records the first map in the timer without taking a reference. Freeing that map does not find the timer stored in the second map, so a later timer callback dereferences the freed map. Copy map_uid from the same caller register as map_ptr when constructing for-each, timer/workqueue, and task-work callback arguments. The existing identity check can then reject mismatched inner maps while allowing a callback value to be paired with its actual map. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-97929 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usbusx2y: validate URB actual_length in interrupt callback i_usx2y_in04_int() processes the interrupt URB data without checking urb->actual_length. A short transfer from a malfunctioning device would cause the handler to process uninitialized heap data from the kmalloc-allocated in04_buf, which is then copied to the mmap-accessible ctl_snapshot[] array. Fix by using kzalloc() for in04_buf to zero-initialize the buffer, and adding an actual_length check to skip processing on short transfers while still resubmitting the URB. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-68436 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: use kvzalloc to allocate struct dc struct dc has grown large over time (most of it the two inlined dc_scratch_space copies) and now sits close to the page allocator's 4 MiB contiguous allocation limit. Its actual size is not fixed by the source alone, it also depends on the compiler and the .config, so it can easily cross 4 MiB, e.g. with a newer GCC or a config change. dc_create() allocates it with kzalloc(). Once struct dc exceeds 4 MiB the request is rounded up to order 11 (8 MiB), which is above MAX_PAGE_ORDER, so the page allocator warns and returns NULL. dc_create() then fails, DM init fails and amdgpu probe aborts with -EINVAL: WARNING: mm/page_alloc.c:5197 at __alloc_frozen_pages_noprof+0x2f9/0x380 dc_create+0x38/0x660 [amdgpu] amdgpu_dm_init+0x2d9/0x510 [amdgpu] dm_hw_init+0x1b/0x90 [amdgpu] amdgpu_device_init.cold+0x150d/0x1e13 [amdgpu] amdgpu_driver_load_kms+0x19/0x80 [amdgpu] amdgpu_pci_probe+0x1e2/0x4c0 [amdgpu] dc_create() then returns NULL and DM init fails, which aborts the whole GPU init and makes amdgpu probe fail with -EINVAL ("hw_init of IP block <dm> failed -22"), leaving the display unusable. The subsequent amdgpu_irq_put() warnings during teardown are just fallout of unwinding a half-initialized device. struct dc is a software-only bookkeeping structure that is never handed to hardware DMA and is only ever kept as an opaque pointer, so it does not require physically contiguous memory. Allocate it with kvzalloc() (and free it with kvfree()) so that the allocator can fall back to vmalloc() when a contiguous allocation of that size is not available, which also avoids the MAX_PAGE_ORDER warning entirely. v2: - Rebase to amd-staging-drm-next. CVE-2025-40004 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/9p: Fix buffer overflow in USB transport layer A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the USB 9pfs transport layer where inconsistent size validation between packet header parsing and actual data copying allows a malicious USB host to overflow heap buffers. The issue occurs because: - usb9pfs_rx_header() validates only the declared size in packet header - usb9pfs_rx_complete() uses req->actual (actual received bytes) for memcpy This allows an attacker to craft packets with small declared size (bypassing validation) but large actual payload (triggering overflow in memcpy). Add validation in usb9pfs_rx_complete() to ensure req->actual does not exceed the buffer capacity before copying data. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-40110 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: Fix a null-ptr access in the cursor snooper Check that the resource which is converted to a surface exists before trying to use the cursor snooper on it. vmw_cmd_res_check allows explicit invalid (SVGA3D_INVALID_ID) identifiers because some svga commands accept SVGA3D_INVALID_ID to mean "no surface", unfortunately functions that accept the actual surfaces as objects might (and in case of the cursor snooper, do not) be able to handle null objects. Make sure that we validate not only the identifier (via the vmw_cmd_res_check) but also check that the actual resource exists before trying to do something with it. Fixes unchecked null-ptr reference in the snooping code. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-40145 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI/pwrctrl: Fix double cleanup on devm_add_action_or_reset() failure When devm_add_action_or_reset() fails, it calls the passed cleanup function. Hence the caller must not repeat that cleanup. Replace the "goto err_regulator_free" by the actual freeing, as there will never be a need again for a second user of this label. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-68343 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(): check actual_length before accessing header The driver expects to receive a struct gs_host_frame in gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(). Use struct_group to describe the header of the struct gs_host_frame and check that we have at least received the header before accessing any members of it. To resubmit the URB, do not dereference the pointer chain "dev->parent->hf_size_rx" but use "parent->hf_size_rx" instead. Since "urb->context" contains "parent", it is always defined, while "dev" is not defined if the URB it too short. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-98860 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: bpf: cast size to ssize_t when checking hid_bpf_hw_request As reported by Sashiko: If a transport driver encounters a hardware error and returns a negative error code such as -EPIPE, ret is implicitly promoted to size_t when compared against size. This causes the negative error code to evaluate as a large positive number, making the (ret > size) condition true. This silently converts the hardware error into a success return value and copies the unmodified buffer back, which could leave BPF programs operating on uninitialized or stale data. Fix this by casting size into ssize_t to return the actual negative error code. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-98843 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: zero gaps in read-gaps folio to avoid writing back stale data netfs_read_gaps() leaves gaps around a streaming write's dirty region unread on the server side, so a short/EOF response there left stale folio content that later got written back. Zero it after the read completes, not before: netfs_wait_for_read() returns rreq->transferred once ret >= 0, so build an iterator over the same bvec array the read used, advance past ret, and zero the rest. The dirty region already maps to sink pages in that array rather than the real folio, so this can't touch it, and only the actual shortfall gets zeroed instead of the whole gap upfront. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-98807 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix slab-out-of-bounds when handling team device events The mlx5_handle_changeupper_event() and mlx5_handle_changeinfodata_event() functions check for LAG masters (which includes both bonding and team devices) but only call bonding-specific APIs. When processing team device events, calling bond_slave_get_rcu() and bond_is_slave_inactive() on team_port structures causes KASAN to detect an out-of-bounds memory access since team_port is smaller than bond slave. Fix this by wrapping the bond-specific API calls with a check for bonding devices. This allows the function to still process LAG events for both bonding and teams but only calls bond-specific functions when dealing with actual bonding devices. For mlx5_handle_changeinfodata_event(), keep the explicit bond check as mlx5 doesn't handle state information for team ports anyway. Tested with Mellanox ConnectX-5 on Linux 7.2.0-rc6: - Bonding: PASS (no regressions) - Team device: PASS (no KASAN errors) 19 Oct
CVE-2026-98612 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: catc: bound the RX packet length in catc_rx_done() catc_rx_done() walks a multi-packet URB, reading a two-byte length from each packet header. Its bound, pkt_len > urb->actual_length, ignores the header offset and compares against the whole transfer rather than the bytes left from pkt_start, so a crafted packet header makes skb_copy_to_linear_data() read past the buffer. A length below ETH_HLEN is also accepted, including zero, and eth_type_trans() then reads a MAC header from the uninitialised tailroom of a shorter skb. The is_f5u011 branch takes its length straight from the transfer, so a zero-length URB reaches the same path. Track the bytes remaining from the current packet, and reject a header that does not fit, a length past what is left, and a length below an Ethernet header. A transfer shorter than an Ethernet header, including a zero-length one, previously became a runt skb passed to netif_rx() and counted as received; it is now counted in rx_length_errors and ends the walk. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-98604 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: replace bind when learning local endpoint struct ovpn_bind is published through peer->bind with RCU, but local endpoint learning updates bind->local in place under peer->lock. UDP TX reads the field without that lock. In particular, a concurrent IPv6 update can therefore result in a torn address read. Use ovpn_peer_reset_sockaddr to publish a replacement bind when learning a new local endpoint, just as a remote endpoint change does. Preserve the current remote address and reset the dst cache only after the new bind has been published successfully. Track remote endpoint changes separately so that float notification and transport-address rehashing remain limited to actual peer floats. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-98599 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject non-negative offsets in stack_slot_obj_get_spi() bpf_get_spi() computes (-off - 1) / BPF_REG_SIZE using C division, which truncates toward zero. For off == 0, this produces spi 0, the same index used by the valid stack slot at fp-8. stack_slot_obj_get_spi() currently checks alignment and the resulting spi bounds, but does not reject the non-negative offset itself. It can therefore validate a PTR_TO_STACK register holding fp+0 against an iterator stored at fp-8 even though the runtime receives the actual fp+0 pointer. An effectful iterator kfunc can then interpret memory outside the BPF stack as iterator state. Reject non-negative offsets before converting the offset to an spi. All valid stack objects begin at a negative offset from the frame pointer. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-98584 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: fix potential stack infoleak in em_text_dump() em_text_dump() allocates struct tcf_em_text on the stack without zeroing it. strscpy() writes the algorithm name and a NUL terminator into conf.algo[], leaving the remaining bytes uninitialised. nla_put_nohdr() then copies the full struct to the netlink response. KMSAN on Linux 7.2-rc6 reports two kernel-infoleak splats from this path, one triggered via "tc filter show" and one via a raw RTM_GETTFILTER dump: BUG: KMSAN: kernel-infoleak in _copy_to_iter+0x1c9/0x2620 nla_put_nohdr+0x83/0x130 em_text_dump+0x291/0x550 Local variable conf created at: em_text_dump+0x5d/0x550 Bytes 168-179 of 199 are uninitialized I am not certain whether this constitutes a real security problem in practice: the test was conducted in a controlled KMSAN environment and the leaked stack bytes may or may not carry sensitive data on actual production kernels. I am reporting it because KMSAN flagged it as a kernel-infoleak and the fix is straightforward. I can provide a userspace reproducer on request. The original code used strncpy() which zero-pads to the destination size. Commit b04202d6065c ("net/sched: replace strncpy with strscpy") replaced it with strscpy(), which does not pad, creating this condition. Zero-initialising the struct closes it. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-98576 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: llcp: fix slab-out-of-bounds reads when logging service names nfc_llcp_wks_sap() and nfc_llcp_build_sdreq_tlv() pass non-null- terminated strings to pr_debug() using the %s format specifier. The buffers are allocated via kmemdup() or come from netlink attributes and are not guaranteed to be null-terminated, causing __dynamic_pr_debug() to read beyond the allocated region: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds Read in __dynamic_pr_debug Fix both call sites by using %.*s with the explicit length to limit the output to the actual length of the string. 19 Oct
