CVE-2026-12544 7.7 high 0.00% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. The foreman-rake initialization logic in /usr/share/foreman/config/settings.rb contains a vulnerable code pattern where configuration data is processed through two distinct executable layers. This creates a multi-stage execution chain that allows for both Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) and insecure deserialization. This vulnerability can lead to remote code execution, total infrastructure compromise and supply chain risk. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-18381 7.6 high 0.00% redhat, cost_management_metrics_operator A flaw was found in the koku-metrics-operator for Red Hat OpenShift. The operator's CostManagementMetricsConfig custom resource allows a user able to edit the CR to specify an arbitrary upload URL. The operator attaches its own Kubernetes service-account bearer token to queries sent to this user-controlled URL, allowing the attacker to obtain the token. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-9793 7.5 high 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. When a JSON Web Encryption (JWE) encrypted request object is submitted, Keycloak may incorrectly process unsigned claims if the decrypted content is raw JSON, bypassing the configured signature policy. This allows a remote attacker to submit unauthorized claims, leading to a compromise of data integrity within the OpenID Connect (OIDC) authorization flow. While a redirect URI allowlist acts as a compensating control, this vulnerability violates OIDC Core and Financial-grade API (FAPI) signing requirements. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-17620 7.5 high 0.00% ibm, financial_transaction_manager IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift 4.0.6.0 through 4.0.6.0.0.6.0 Refresh (Operator 4.4.6+20260807.081800)4.0.7.04.0.8.04.0.9.04.0.10.0 Interim Fix 064 IBM Financial Transaction Manager transmits sensitive or security-critical data in cleartext in a communication channel that can be sniffed by unauthorized actors. 15 Oct

CVE-2026-12423 7.5 high 0.00% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. The Red Hat Satellite /unattended/provision API endpoint is vulnerable to an authentication bypass due to a semantic logic flaw in host_verifier.rb. The application verifies the database state of a provisioning token rather than its actual presence in the incoming HTTP request. Because a host actively undergoing provisioning has an unexpired token in the database, the server's valid_host_token? method evaluates to true, granting access to the kickstart template even if the requester provides no token at all in the URL. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-12992 7.4 high 0.00% redhat, build_of_apicurio_registry A flaw was found in Apicurio Registry. The WSDLReaderAccessor creates a wsdl4j WSDLReader without disabling the javax.wsdl.importDocuments feature. When the VALIDITY rule is set to FULL, an attacker with Developer-role access can upload a WSDL document containing attacker-controlled import locations, causing the registry to issue HTTP requests to arbitrary internal URLs (server-side request forgery). Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-3872 7.3 high 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. This issue allows an attacker, who controls another path on the same web server, to bypass the allowed path in redirect Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) that use a wildcard. A successful attack may lead to the theft of an access token, resulting in information disclosure. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-9795 7.3 high 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak's Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAPv2) feature. An administrator with limited client management permissions can exploit this vulnerability to assign any realm role, including highly privileged roles, to a client's scope mapping. This bypasses intended security controls, allowing the injected role to be projected into a user's authentication token when they access the modified client. This could lead to unauthorized privilege escalation within the Keycloak realm. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-13201 7.3 high 0.00% kubevirt, redhat, openshift_virtualization A flaw was found in KubeVirt's safepath package used by virt-handler. The OpenAtNoFollow function uses O_PATH|O_NOFOLLOW to obtain a file descriptor to a path leaf, but downstream operations resolve the path via /proc/self/fd/N using link-following syscalls. When the leaf is a symlink, the kernel dereferences it, defeating the intended no-follow protection. An attacker with access to a virt-launcher pod can exploit this to redirect virt-handler's IPC socket connections, including the notify socket used for VM domain lifecycle events. By hijacking this socket, the attacker can inject arbitrary domain events into virt-handler, causing it to take incorrect lifecycle actions, corrupt VM state in the Kubernetes API, or crash — resulting in sustained denial of VM management services for all virtual machines on the affected node. Additionally, the same symlink following flaw allows virt-handler to apply file ownership or permission changes to unintended host paths. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-71226 7.3 high 0.00% redhat, smuellerdd, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform, libkcapi Memory Corruption via Uncanceled AIO Requests on Error: libkcapi's one-shot AIO path can return an error before all submitted IOCBs are drained, allowing later kernel writes into caller-owned output buffers. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-58379 7.3 high 0.00% gimp, redhat, enterprise_linux_update_services_for_sap_solutions, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in GIMP's Paint Shop Pro (PSP) file format parser. This heap buffer overflow vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause arbitrary code execution or a denial of service (DoS) by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted PSP image file. The vulnerability occurs because the software incorrectly calculates buffer sizes when processing low bit-depth images, leading to an overwrite of adjacent memory. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-40917 7.1 high 0.00% gimp, redhat, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in GIMP. A local attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted AVI file containing a truncated header sub-chunk. This could lead to a denial-of-service (application crash) or potentially leak sensitive information from the heap. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-7571 7.1 high 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. A low-privilege user, with knowledge of user credentials and client ID, can bypass a security control intended to disable the implicit flow in OpenID Connect (OIDC) clients. By manipulating client data during a session restart, an attacker can obtain an access token that should not be available. This vulnerability can also lead to the exposure of these access tokens in server logs, proxy logs, and HTTP Referrer headers, resulting in sensitive information disclosure. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-71474 7.1 high 0.00% redhat, advanced_cluster_management_for_kubernetes, insights-client A flaw was found in insights-client. When the application receives a non-200 response, it logs the request headers, which can include the cloud.openshift.com pull-secret token. A local user with access to pod logs on the hub could read this long-lived credential. This information disclosure could grant unauthorized access to Red Hat cloud services. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2023-1652 7.1 high 0.00% linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux A use-after-free flaw was found in nfsd4_ssc_setup_dul in fs/nfsd/nfs4proc.c in the NFS filesystem in the Linux Kernel. CVE-2026-4878 7.0 high 0.00% libcap_project, redhat, libcap, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in libcap. A local unprivileged user can exploit a Time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the `cap_set_file()` function. This allows an attacker with write access to a parent directory to redirect file capability updates to an attacker-controlled file. By doing so, capabilities can be injected into or stripped from unintended executables, leading to privilege escalation. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-14821 7.0 high 0.00% libssh, redhat, hardened_images A flaw was found in libssh. This vulnerability allows local man-in-the-middle attacks, security downgrades of SSH (Secure Shell) connections, and manipulation of trusted host information, posing a significant risk to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SSH communications via an insecure default configuration on Windows systems where the library automatically loads configuration files from the C:\etc directory, which can be created and modified by unprivileged local users. 14 Oct

Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-4630 6.8 medium 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. An authenticated client could exploit an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the Authorization Services Protection API endpoint. By knowing or obtaining a resource's unique identifier (UUID) belonging to another Resource Server within the same realm, the client could bypass authorization checks. This allows the client to perform unauthorized GET, PUT, and DELETE operations on resources, leading to information disclosure and potential unauthorized modification or deletion of data. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-37982 6.8 medium 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. This authentication vulnerability allows a remote attacker to replay `ExecuteActionsActionToken` tokens within Keycloak's WebAuthn (Web Authentication) flow. By intercepting an execute-actions email link, an attacker can register their own authenticator to a victim's account. This leads to unauthorized enrollment of a hardware-backed credential, enabling persistent account takeover. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-9802 6.8 medium 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. When revokeRefreshToken=true is enabled and persistent session storage is in use, a server restart can reset internal timing mechanisms. This allows a remote attacker, who has previously captured a user's refresh token, to replay that token even after it has been revoked. Successful exploitation grants the attacker unauthorized access to the victim's account, potentially leading to information disclosure or privilege escalation. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-3012 6.8 medium 0.00% redhat, samba, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in Samba’s certificate auto-enrollment Group Policy handling. When certificate auto-enrollment is enabled, Samba may retrieve a CA certificate over an unencrypted HTTP connection and install it into the local trust store without proper verification. An attacker with the ability to intercept or redirect network traffic could exploit this behavior to supply a malicious certificate authority certificate, potentially allowing interception or spoofing of trusted communications. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-10609 6.8 medium 0.00% redhat, cluster_logging_operator, logging_subsystem_for_red_hat_openshift A missing authorization flaw was found in the OpenShift Cluster Logging Operator. The operator creates and forwards ServiceAccount tokens to output destinations without verifying that the ClusterLogForwarder creator has permission to use those credentials, allowing a delegated editor to exfiltrate SA tokens and escalate privileges. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-18378 6.8 medium 0.00% redhat, cost_management_metrics_operator A flaw was found in koku-metrics-operator. The operator's CostManagementMetricsConfig custom resource allows user able to edit the CR to specify an arbitrary upload URL. When authentication.type is set to token (the default), the cluster-global Red Hat Cloud pull-secret bearer token is attached to HTTP requests sent to this user-controlled URL, allowing the attacker to obtain the token. 23 Oct
CVE-2024-45777 6.7 medium 0.00% gnu, redhat, grub2, openshift, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in grub2. The calculation of the translation buffer when reading a language .mo file in grub_gettext_getstr_from_position() may overflow, leading to a Out-of-bound write. This issue can be leveraged by an attacker to overwrite grub2's sensitive heap data, eventually leading to the circumvention of secure boot protections. 21 Oct
CVE-2024-5742 6.7 medium 0.00% gnu, redhat, nano, enterprise_linux A vulnerability was found in GNU Nano that allows a possible privilege escalation through an insecure temporary file. If Nano is killed while editing, a file it saves to an emergency file with the permissions of the running user provides a window of opportunity for attackers to escalate privileges through a malicious symlink. 15 Oct
CVE-2024-0607 6.6 medium 0.00% debian, linux, debian_linux, linux_kernel, fedora A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The issue is in the nft_byteorder_eval() function, where the code iterates through a loop and writes to the `dst` array. On each iteration, 8 bytes are written, but `dst` is an array of u32, so each element only has space for 4 bytes. That means every iteration overwrites part of the previous element corrupting this array of u32. This flaw allows a local user to cause a denial of service or potentially break NetFilter functionality. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-73196 6.5 medium 0.00% redhat, freeipa, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A low-privilege authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting an oversized One-Time Password (OTP) key value. This oversized key is then decoded and re-encoded without proper size limits, consuming excessive CPU and memory resources. This can lead to a denial of service, degrading the availability of the IPA service. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-37979 6.5 medium 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. This access control vulnerability in Keycloak's OpenID Connect (OIDC) token introspection endpoint allows a confidential client to bypass audience restrictions. An attacker-controlled client with valid credentials can retrieve sensitive token claims intended for other resource servers, compromising the confidentiality of lightweight access tokens. This issue can be exploited remotely by any confidential client in the realm with valid credentials. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-9792 6.5 medium 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak's Client Policies, specifically within the `org.keycloak.protocol.oidc` component. When certain condition providers (client-type, client-roles, client-attributes, client-scopes) are used to enforce security restrictions, the `reject-ropc-grant` executor is silently bypassed. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to obtain tokens via a Resource Owner Password Credentials (ROPC) grant, even when a policy is explicitly configured to block it. This bypass can lead to unauthorized access and information disclosure. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-9796 6.5 medium 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. An authenticated administrator with the `manage-clients` role can exploit a Time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) vulnerability in the name-based admin role checks. This allows the attacker to escalate their privileges to `realm-admin` for all users within the realm, granting them extensive control over the system. The composite role relationship persists even after the attacker's own permissions are revoked and across system reboots. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-13208 6.5 medium 0.00% kubevirt, redhat, openshift_virtualization A flaw was found in KubeVirt's virt-handler domain notify server. The gRPC handlers for HandleDomainEvent and HandleK8SEvent derive the VMI identity (namespace/name) solely from the request body without validating it against the connection's origin. Each virt-launcher pod connects through a per-VMI pipe socket, but no identity tag is propagated from the pipe path to the server handlers. This allows a compromised virt-launcher process to send forged domain lifecycle events for any other VMI scheduled on the same node, causing virt-handler to erroneously update that VMI's state and disrupt its lifecycle management. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-4629 6.5 medium 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. A highly privileged user with `manage-clients` permission can exploit this vulnerability by injecting a hardcoded role mapper into any client. This action allows the user to bypass existing scope restrictions and inject the `realm-admin` role into generated tokens, resulting in privilege escalation and full administrative access to the realm. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-15154 6.5 medium 0.00% redhat, openshift_ai A flaw was found in `guardrails-detectors`, a component of Red Hat OpenShift AI. This vulnerability, known as Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS), allows a remote attacker to provide specially crafted regular expressions to the public detection API. This can cause catastrophic backtracking, leading to a worker process consuming 100% CPU indefinitely and resulting in a denial of service for the entire guardrails-mediated LLM pipeline. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-71846 6.5 medium 0.00% redhat, advanced_cluster_management_for_kubernetes, insights-client A flaw was found in insights-client. The component's ServiceAccount is bound to a ClusterRole granting cluster-wide secrets get, list, and watch permissions, while the code only requires access to a single specific Secret. This excessive privilege means that a compromise of the insights-client pod or ServiceAccount token would grant an attacker read access to all Secrets across the hub cluster, including managed-cluster kubeconfigs and other sensitive credentials. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-71225 6.5 medium 0.00% redhat, smuellerdd, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform, libkcapi A flaw was found in libkcapi. When performing one-shot symmetric cipher operations on large inputs (over 64 KiB) in stateful modes such as Counter (CTR) or Cipher Block Chaining (CBC), the library improperly reuses the Initialization Vector (IV) for each internal data chunk. A remote attacker could potentially exploit this by making an application that uses libkcapi process specially crafted large inputs. This can lead to a significant weakening of data confidentiality, as the repeated IV use can expose relationships in encrypted plaintext, and may also affect data integrity by causing incorrect cryptographic processing. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-58224 6.5 medium 0.00% samba, redhat, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in Samba's CTDB, the clustered database service used by Samba. Insufficient integrity validation of received CTDB protocol packets allows malformed packets containing invalid field lengths, improperly terminated strings, or inconsistent packet sizes to be processed without adequate bounds checking. A remote attacker with access to the CTDB private network may trigger a denial of service through process crashes or excessive memory consumption and, in limited cases, disclose adjacent memory contents. 21 Oct
