| CVE-2026-42812 | 9.4 critical | 0.00% | apache, polaris | In Apache Iceberg, the table's metadata files are control files: they tell readers which data files belong to the table and which table version to read. `write.metadata.path` is an optional table property that tells Polaris where to write those metadata files. For a table already registered in a Polaris-managed catalog, changing only that property through an `ALTER TABLE`-style settings change (not a row-level `INSERT`, `SELECT`, `UPDATE`, or `DELETE`) bypasses the commit-time branch that is supposed to revalidate storage locations. The full persisted / credential-vending variant requires the affected catalog to have `polaris.config.allow.unstructured.table.location=true`, with `allowedLocations` broad enough to include the attacker-chosen target. `allowedLocations` is the admin-configured allowlist of storage paths that the catalog is allowed to use. Public project materials suggest that this flag is a real supported compatibility / layout mode, not just a contrived lab-only prerequisite. In that configuration, a user who can change table settings can cause Apache Polaris itself to write new table metadata to an attacker-chosen reachable storage location before the intended location-validation branch runs. If the later concrete-path validation also accepts that location, Polaris persists the resulting metadata path into stored table state. Later table-load and credential APIs can then return temporary cloud-storage credentials for the same location without revalidating it. In plain terms, Polaris can later hand out temporary storage access for the same attacker-chosen area. That attacker-chosen area does not need to be limited to the poisoned table's own files. If it is a broader storage prefix, another table's prefix, or, depending on configuration or provider behavior, even a bucket/container root, the resulting disclosure or corruption scope can extend to any data and metadata Polaris can reach there. The practical consequences are therefore similar to the staged-create credential-vending issue already discussed: data and metadata reachable in that storage scope can be exposed and, if write-capable credentials are later issued, modified, corrupted, or removed. Even before that later credential step, Polaris itself performs the metadata write to the unchecked location. So the core issue is not only later credential vending. The primary defect is that Polaris skips its intended location checks before performing a security- sensitive metadata write when only `write.metadata.path` changes. When `polaris.config.allow.unstructured.table.location=false`, current code review suggests the later `updateTableLike(...)` validation usually rejects out-of-tree metadata locations before the unsafe path is persisted. That may reduce the persisted / credential-vending variant, but it does not prevent the underlying defect: Polaris still skips the intended pre-write location check when only `write.metadata.path` changes. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44592 | 9.4 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Gradient is a nix-based continuous integration system. In 1.1.0, when GRADIENT_DISCOVERABLE=true (the default, and the NixOS module default), anyone who can reach /proto can register as a worker without any credentials by sending a fresh, never-registered worker UUID. The resulting session has PeerAuth::Open, i.e. it sees jobs from every organisation, and can immediately NarPush/NarUploaded arbitrary store paths into nar_storage and the cached_path table. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.1.1. | Mon 26 Oct |

| CVE-2026-48088 | 9.4 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. Prior to version 1.0.4, the route `POST /api/tenants/{tenantId}/staff/{staffId}/crypto` accepts and stores attacker-controlled ML-KEM-768 public keys against any tenant on the platform without authentication. The handler logs an "Unauthorized crypto key storage attempt" warning when neither a session nor a registration cookie is present, then proceeds to insert the row regardless. The platform's E2E claim that "even administrators cannot view sensitive information" is broken: any unauthenticated network attacker can register themselves as an additional encryption recipient for any tenant's future patient appointments. A second variant of the bug suppresses the unauthorized-warning log entry. The Zod schema makes the `email` field optional. When the request body omits `email` and the request carries no registration cookie, the comparison `registrationEmail === email` becomes `undefined === undefined`, which evaluates to `true`. The handler treats the request as a legitimate registration flow, skips the warning entirely, and stores the row. Successful storage is still recorded as an `[info]` log line, but the security-relevant warning that operators are most likely to monitor or alert on is gone. The `staff_crypto` table has no unique constraint on `user_id`, so an arbitrary number of attacker rows can coexist for the same staff identifier and all return as `is_active=true`. The supplied `staffId` does not need to match any existing user or pending invite. Schema validation on `passkeyId`, `publicKey`, and `privateKeyShare` is also weak: the literal string `<placeholder-base64>` was accepted, indicating no length, format, or cryptographic-validity check beyond field presence. This weakness is independent of the auth bypass but compounds it: a poisoned directory can also be filled with malformed entries that break legitimate booking flows. The injected key is consumed by the public booking flow. After completing the unauthenticated `bootstrap-challenge` and `bootstrap-verify` ceremony as a "patient", the resulting `bookingAccessToken` is accepted by `GET /api/tenants/{id}/appointments/staff-public-keys`, which returns the attacker-controlled keys alongside any legitimate ones. A new appointment encrypts its tunnel key with ML-KEM to all listed recipients, so the attacker becomes a co-recipient of the encryption and can decapsulate the tunnel key with the matching secret. From there, all appointment payloads for that booking are decryptable. Version 1.0.4 patches the issue. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2025-34210 | 9.4 critical | 0.00% | vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host | Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host and Application (VA/SaaS deployments) store a large number of sensitive credentials (database passwords, MySQL root password, SaaS keys, Portainer admin password, etc.) in cleartext files that are world-readable. Any local user - or any process that can read the host filesystem - can retrieve all of these secrets in plain text, leading to credential theft and full compromise of the appliance. The vendor does not consider this to be a security vulnerability as this product "follows a shared responsibility model, where administrators are expected to configure persistent storage encryption." | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48768 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions 3.16.1 and earlier, POST /api/blocks/file-input/v3/generate-upload-url is unauthenticated and uses unsanitized fileName input to construct public/ S3 object keys, while issuing presigned PUT URLs that do not bind Content-Type. As a result, any anonymous visitor to a published bot with a file input can upload attacker-controlled HTML, SVG, or JS to attacker-chosen subpaths, including other tenants’ publicly served result paths, enabling arbitrary content hosting and potential stored XSS on the storage origin. ../ traversal is blocked by S3/MinIO canonicalization (signature mismatch), but forward-slash path injection is exploitable. This issue has been fixed in version 3.17.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-15183 | 9.2 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Multiple input validation vulnerabilities in the Snowflake Spark Connector (spark-snowflake) versions prior to 3.2.1 can allow attackers to exfiltrate OAuth client credentials, execute arbitrary SQL with the connector's Snowflake role, or redirect COPY operations to attacker-controlled storage. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by supplying a crafted OAuth token request URL, placing malicious files in an ingestion pipeline, injecting SQL via staging options in a shared Spark environment , or issuing runtime SET commands in a shared Spark-SQL session to inject arbitrary SQL into the SnowflakeFallbackCatalog's option map, which executes under the cluster admin's JDBC credentials. Successful exploitation may result in credential theft, unauthorized access to Snowflake account data, or privilege escalation within connected infrastructure. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-31215 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | nexent | The nexent v1.7.5.2 backend service contains an unauthorized arbitrary file deletion vulnerability in its ElasticSearch service interface. The DELETE /{index_name}/documents endpoint lacks proper authentication and authorization controls and does not validate the user-supplied path_or_url parameter. This allows unauthenticated remote attackers to send crafted requests that trigger the deletion of arbitrary documents from ElasticSearch indices and corresponding files from the MinIO storage system. Successful exploitation leads to data destruction and denial of service. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-31216 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | nexent | The nexent v1.7.5.2 backend service contains an unauthorized arbitrary storage file deletion vulnerability in its file management API. The DELETE /storage/{object_name:path} endpoint lacks authentication, authorization, and input validation mechanisms. Unauthenticated remote attackers can send crafted requests with a user-controlled object_name path parameter to delete arbitrary files from the underlying MinIO storage system. Successful exploitation leads to data loss and denial of service. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-7876 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | ibm, aspera_high-speed_transfer_server_for_cloud_pak_for_integration | IBM Aspera HSTS for CP4I 1.5.1 through 1.5.19 is affected by an authentication bypass vulnerability. A transfer client may be able to take advantage of this vulnerability to access files in the server's local storage that they should not have access to, when specific restriction settings are not in place. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59807 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Composio SDK before 0.2.32-beta.283 contains a path validation bypass vulnerability that allows attackers to read and exfiltrate sensitive files by exploiting a missing assertSafeFileUploadPath check in the readFileFromDisk function within tool-file-uploads.ts. Attackers can exploit prompt injection to manipulate file_uploadable parameters to reference sensitive paths such as SSH private keys, causing the CLI to upload credential files to attacker-controlled storage. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2025-30156 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage. In versions prior to 20.2.4 and 19.2.6, the CephX authentication protocol encrypts tickets with AES-128-CBC in an unauthenticated mode that uses a hard-coded initialization vector and no message authentication, allowing an attacker to forge credentials and gain cluster-wide access. Because the ciphertext is malleable and the monitor will encrypt attacker-chosen entity names, an attacker holding one low-privilege key and able to observe CephX traffic can use the monitor as an encryption oracle and splice ciphertext blocks into valid tickets for privileged entities such as Manager, MDS, and OSD. The same lack of authentication also lets an attacker with CephX permissions escalate privileges by flipping a single bit in a service ticket to set its allow_all field to true. This issue is fixed in versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62679 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. Prior to 7.6.4, SecurePathController, which serves GET /image/{path}, concatenates the attacker-controlled path with the local storage root and performs a string-prefix check before canonicalizing dot segments. Under the supported non-default configuration with temporary_image_link_enabled enabled, temporary_image_link_when_logged_in disabled, and secure_image_link_enabled disabled, any authenticated user can submit encoded traversal segments that pass the prefix check and are later resolved by filesystem operations. This permits reading files available to the web process, including application configuration and other users' private images, and disclosed APP_KEY or database credentials can enable further compromise. This issue is fixed in version 7.6.4. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-116778 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FOG is a free open-source cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system. Prior to 1.5.10.2253 and 1.6.0-RC-1, an authenticated API-enabled user with uType=1 who possesses both the user's API token and the global FOG API token can use PUT /fog/storagenode/{id}/edit to modify Storage Node user, pass, and ftppath fields because the API validates the credentials but does not enforce an administrator-only role. With storage replication enabled and a usable Storage Node, FOGImageReplicator interpolates those fields into an lftp command executed through proc_open() by the root-running service, allowing the low-privileged user to execute commands as root. This issue is fixed in versions 1.5.10.2253 and 1.6.0-RC-1. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-91527 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Vulnerability in the Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance Kit product of Oracle Systems (component: Core). The supported version that is affected is 8.8. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance Kit. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance Kit. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). | CVE-2026-41142 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | openexr | OpenEXR provides the specification and reference implementation of the EXR file format, an image storage format for the motion picture industry. From versions 3.0.0 to before 3.2.9, 3.3.0 to before 3.3.11, and 3.4.0 to before 3.4.11, there is an integer overflow in ImageChannel::resize that leads to heap OOB write via OpenEXRUtil public API. This issue has been patched in versions 3.2.9, 3.3.11, and 3.4.11. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42216 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | openexr | OpenEXR provides the specification and reference implementation of the EXR file format, an image storage format for the motion picture industry. From versions 3.0.0 to before 3.2.9, 3.3.0 to before 3.3.11, and 3.4.0 to before 3.4.11, IDManifest::init() reconstructs strings from a prefix-compressed representation. If the previous string is longer than 255 bytes, the next string is expected to begin with a 2-byte prefix length. The code reads stringList[i][0] and stringList[i][1] without checking that the current string has at least two bytes. This issue has been patched in versions 3.2.9, 3.3.11, and 3.4.11. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-52868 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An unauthenticated attacker can read worklist records from a directory outside the intended per-AE worklist storage area. In a multi-area deployment, this can cross departmental or clinic data separation. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53593 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the denylist that neutralizes dangerous file uploads (`Helper::$restricted_extensions`) is incomplete: it does not cover the `.pht` extension. The authenticated upload endpoint `POST /uploads/upload` (`SecureController@upload`) stores files with their original extension into the web-accessible directory `storage/app/public/uploads/` (served at `/storage/uploads/`). On the standard Apache + `libapache2-mod-php` deployment, the default handler `<FilesMatch ".+\.ph(ar|p[3457]?|t|tml)$">` executes `.pht`, so **any authenticated agent can upload a `.pht` web shell and run arbitrary commands as the web-server user** (`www-data`). This is a direct bypass of the fix for CVE-2025-48471, which added `phtml`/`phar` but not `pht` (nor `phtm`, `phps`). Version 1.8.224 contains an updated fix. | Sat 24 Oct |

This review resulted in software hardening releases that address multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20312 are related to Cleartext storage of sensitive information issues that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) CWE-312. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-70737 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | oracle, enterprise_manager_for_systems_infrastructure | Vulnerability in the Oracle Enterprise Manager for Systems Infrastructure product of Oracle Enterprise Manager (component: Storage Server Management). Supported versions that are affected are 13.5 and 24.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Enterprise Manager for Systems Infrastructure. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Enterprise Manager for Systems Infrastructure. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). | CVE-2026-64117 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: capture fast-RX rate before mesh reuses skb->cb ieee80211_invoke_fast_rx() reads RX status through IEEE80211_SKB_RXCB(skb), which aliases the same skb->cb storage that ieee80211_rx_mesh_data() reuses as IEEE80211_TX_INFO. In the unicast forward path, mesh_data does: info = IEEE80211_SKB_CB(fwd_skb); memset(info, 0, sizeof(*info)); on the same skb the caller still names via rx->skb, then either queues the skb for TX (success) or kfree_skb()'s it (no-route) before returning RX_QUEUED. The caller's RX_QUEUED arm then calls sta_stats_encode_rate(status) on memory that is either zeroed (success path) or freed (no-route path). The latter is KASAN slab-use-after-free in ieee80211_prepare_and_rx_handle. Fix by encoding the rate from status before invoking ieee80211_rx_mesh_data(), so the RX_QUEUED arm consumes a value captured while status was still backed by valid memory. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111650 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | ChronoFrame through 1.0.0 contains a missing authentication vulnerability in the server/api/wizard/ handlers that allows unauthenticated attackers to reconfigure already configured instances. Attackers can POST to /api/wizard/storage to activate an attacker-controlled S3 or OpenList provider, redirecting uploads and storage reads, and overwrite site and map settings. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-10971 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Insecure Storage of Sensitive Information vulnerability in MeetMe on iOS, Android allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This issue affects MeetMe: through v2.2.5. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-97851 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The storage status-change REST service allows location records still associated with DICOM instances to be changed to deletion-related states. Changing a location to TO_DELETE causes PurgeStorageScheduler to delete the referenced object from storage even though the corresponding instance record remains in the database. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2025-66214 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | wearefrank, ladybug | Ladybug adds message-based debugging, unit, system, and regression testing to Java applications. Versions prior to 3.0-20251107.114628 contain the APIs /iaf/ladybug/api/report/{storage} and /iaf/ladybug/api/report/upload, which allow uploading gzip-compressed XML files with user-controllable content. The system deserializes these XML files, enabling attackers to achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) by submitting carefully crafted XML payloads and thereby gain access to the target server. This issue is fixed in version 3.0-20251107.114628. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-68158 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | authlib | Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. In versions 1.0.0 through 1.6.5, cache-backed state/request-token storage is not tied to the initiating user session, so CSRF is possible for any attacker that has a valid state (easily obtainable via an attacker-initiated authentication flow). When a cache is supplied to the OAuth client registry, FrameworkIntegration.set_state_data writes the entire state blob under _state_{app}_{state}, and get_state_data ignores the caller’s session altogether. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.6. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-86799 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Forms WordPress plugin before 3.0.2 does not sanitise submitted form values on storage, nor escape them before outputting them on the form submissions screen in the administration dashboard, allowing unauthenticated users to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute in the browser of any administrator viewing the submissions. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-78391 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | RansomLook contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the cryptocurrency wallet detail view. Cryptocurrency addresses and blockchain names originating from external sources, including the public crowd-sourced ransomwhe.re feed, were stored without sufficient validation and later embedded directly into an inline JavaScript onclick handler. Although Jinja HTML autoescaping was applied, it does not provide adequate protection when untrusted data is inserted into a JavaScript string inside an HTML attribute. HTML entities such as ' are decoded by the browser's HTML parser before the resulting attribute is interpreted as JavaScript. Consequently, a specially crafted cryptocurrency address containing quote characters and JavaScript syntax could escape the intended string literal and execute arbitrary JavaScript when a user clicked the affected wallet's CSV export button. Because cryptocurrency information imported from an untrusted upstream could reach the vulnerable rendering path, exploitation may not require an authenticated RansomLook account if an attacker can introduce a malicious wallet record into a consumed external data source. Successful exploitation could allow attacker-controlled JavaScript to execute in the security context of the RansomLook web application, potentially exposing information accessible to the victim or performing actions with the victim's privileges. The patch mitigates the issue by validating cryptocurrency addresses and blockchain identifiers before storage, restricting them to a safe character set, and replacing the inline JavaScript handler with data-* attributes and an external event listener so wallet values are treated strictly as data rather than executable JavaScript. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6281 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A potential vulnerability was reported in some Lenovo Personal Cloud Storage devices that could allow a remote authenticated user on the local network to execute arbitrary commands on the device. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44543 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | suse, local_path_provisioner | Local Path Provisioner provides a way for the Kubernetes users to utilize the local storage in each node. Prior to 0.0.36, a malicious user with permission to edit the local-path-config ConfigMap in the local-path-storage namespace can manipulate the helperPod.yaml template used by rancher/local-path-provisioner. The helperPod.yaml template is loaded by the provisioner and used to create HelperPods during PVC provisioning and cleanup operations. However, the template is not sufficiently validated before use. Security-sensitive fields such as securityContext.privileged, hostPath volumes, and Linux capabilities can be injected into the template. When a PVC operation triggers HelperPod creation, the provisioner creates the HelperPod using the attacker-controlled template. This can result in a privileged pod running on the target node with the host root filesystem mounted. This may allow the attacker to access sensitive host files, read ServiceAccount tokens from other pods on the same node, access other tenants' local-path volume data, or modify files on the host node. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.0.36. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44593 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | esm.sh is a no-build content delivery network (CDN) for web development. In 137 and earlier, the legacy router first retrieves a response from legacyServer, parses the incoming request path, and ultimately writes the data to storage via buildStorage.Put. The router concatenates the path components without sanitizing them, producing a storage key. When this key is used, the underlying file system resolves the relative segments and writes the file to the specified path. Thus an attacker can craft a request that writes data to arbitrary locations on the server. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57856 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Cockpit CMS contains a path traversal vulnerability in the Bucket file storage API (/system/buckets/api). The api() method in modules/System/Controller/Buckets.php sanitizes the bucket name with preg_replace('/[^a-zA-Z0-9-_\\.]/','', $bucket), which permits '..' and '../' sequences. The sanitized value is interpolated into a Flysystem path as uploads://buckets/{bucket}. Flysystem's WhitespacePathNormalizer resolves 'buckets/..' to the empty string (the uploads storage root) without raising PathTraversalDetected because the '..' has a preceding component to consume. An authenticated low-privileged user can send a crafted request with a '../' bucket name to list, upload, and delete files across all buckets, including those belonging to other users or roles | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71847 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Ruby JSON is a JSON implementation for Ruby. From 2.20.0 until 2.21.2, Ruby's JSON native C extension clears the consumed JSON::ResumableParser input buffer but leaves state.start, state.cursor, and state.end pointing into released storage. When partial_value reconstructs an incomplete object containing duplicate keys, the duplicate-key warning path calls cursor_position, which dereferences those stale pointers. This results in a heap-use-after-free and can terminate the Ruby process. An attacker who can supply JSON stream data to an application using JSON::ResumableParser may cause process termination when the application calls partial_value on incomplete attacker-controlled input containing duplicate object keys. This issue has been fixed in version 2.21.2. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40430 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Pronetiqs IntraVUE Versions 3.2.1a14 and prior have a plaintext storage of a password vulnerability that could expose cleartext credentials through the API. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-105937 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Apache Pulsar shadow topics (PIP-180) are topics that read the stored messages of a source topic from that topic's managed ledger. The source topic is selected by setting the reserved topic property PULSAR.SHADOW_SOURCE. The admin REST API accepts this property when creating a non-partitioned or partitioned topic and when updating the properties of an existing topic. On these paths the broker authorizes the caller only against the topic being created or updated. It does not authorize the caller against the source topic named in the property. The existing authorization for shadow topic configuration (the SHADOW_TOPIC topic policy on the source topic) is applied only to the source-side shadow topics admin API, not to these paths. As a result, an authenticated user who is allowed to create topics or update topic properties in one tenant can bind a topic in that tenant to a persistent topic in any other tenant. With the default authorization provider, these operations require the tenant admin role for the user's own tenant. The user does not need any permission on the source topic, its namespace or its tenant. This impact analysis assumes that Pulsar has been configured with the default authorization provider. For custom authorization providers, the impact could be different. The user can then consume from the shadow topic, using only permissions on their own topic, and receive retained messages that were published to the source topic in the other tenant. Exposure is limited to messages that are still retained and readable in the source topic's ledgers; messages protected with client-side end-to-end encryption cannot be decrypted without the encryption keys. A producer on the shadow topic can also register a new schema version under the source topic's schema, subject to the schema compatibility settings; existing schema versions are not replaced. In addition, the shadow topic's managed ledger applies its own retention, trimming, offloading and deletion to the source topic's ledgers. This can permanently delete the source topic's ledger data from BookKeeper and from tiered storage, regardless of the source topic's own subscriptions and retention policy, including messages that have not yet been acknowledged. Deleting the shadow topic can also delete the source topic's ledgers. This data loss can also affect shadow topics that were configured intentionally by administrators. This issue affects Apache Pulsar versions from 3.0.0 before 4.0.14 and from 4.1.0 before 4.2.5. Apache Pulsar 2.x releases do not contain the shadow topic implementation. - 4.0.x version users should upgrade to at least 4.0.14. - 4.1.x and 4.2.x version users should upgrade to at least 4.2.5. Users operating versions prior to those listed above should upgrade to the aforementioned patched versions or newer versions. The currently supported Apache Pulsar release lines are 4.0.x and 5.0.x. The supported versions schedule is available at https://pulsar.apache.org/contribute/release-policy/. In the fixed versions, shadow topics are disabled by default and are controlled by the new broker configuration setting enableShadowTopics (default false). While it is disabled, the broker rejects creating shadow topics, setting the PULSAR.SHADOW_SOURCE property, and loading or replicating to existing shadow topics. Deployments that use shadow topics must set enableShadowTopics=true in the broker configuration of all brokers after upgrading; otherwise existing shadow topics will not be loaded. When shadow topics are enabled, binding a shadow topic to a source topic in a different tenant requires the superuser role. The fixed versions also prevent a shadow topic from deleting or trimming the ledgers and offloaded data of its source topic. Affected versions provide no configuration option to disable shadow topics. Users who cannot upgrade immediately can reduce exposure by granting the tenant admin role only to trusted principals. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113358 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | LavaLite CMS through 10.1.2 contains a missing authentication vulnerability in the Filer module that allows unauthenticated attackers to download stored files through the filer/download and filer/display routes. Attackers can supply arbitrary disk names and paths to FileController to retrieve private uploads from local storage or configured remote S3 disks. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-78380 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | RansomLook fails to enforce the privacy status of ransomware groups and markets when distributing newly collected victim posts to external notification channels. The post-processing logic checks whether an individual post is marked private but does not verify whether the group or market to which the post belongs is configured as private. As a result, newly parsed victim information associated with a private group or market may be automatically published through enabled Rocket.Chat, Mastodon, Bluesky, and e-mail notification channels despite the entity being explicitly configured to prevent public disclosure. A similar issue affects the public MISP feed. The feed previously determined privacy using groupinfo(), which only queries the group database. Consequently, victim information associated with private markets could be added to the public MISP feed because the corresponding market privacy flag was not evaluated. An attacker or other unauthorized party able to access these public notification channels or the MISP feed may obtain victim information that was intended to remain private. Depending on the collected data, this may disclose victim names, ransomware activity, incident information, or other information associated with privately monitored groups and markets. The fix introduces a common is_private_entity() check covering both groups and markets and prevents private entity posts from being distributed through external notification channels or the public MISP feed. Internal storage and dashboard alerting remain unaffected. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-59952 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | MinIO Java SDK is a Simple Storage Service (aka S3) client to perform bucket and object operations to any Amazon S3 compatible object storage service. In minio-java versions prior to 8.6.0, XML tag values containing references to system properties or environment variables were automatically substituted with their actual values during processing. This unintended behavior could lead to the exposure of sensitive information, including credentials, file paths, or system configuration details, if such references were present in XML content from untrusted sources. This is fixed in version 8.6.0. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34588 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | openexr | OpenEXR provides the specification and reference implementation of the EXR file format, an image storage format for the motion picture industry. From 3.1.0 to before 3.2.7, 3.3.9, and 3.4.9, internal_exr_undo_piz() advances the working wavelet pointer with signed 32-bit arithmetic. Because nx, ny, and wcount are int, a crafted EXR file can make this product overflow and wrap. The next channel then decodes from an incorrect address. The wavelet decode path operates in place, so this yields both out-of-bounds reads and out-of-bounds writes. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.7, 3.3.9, and 3.4.9. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6282 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A potential improper file path validation vulnerability was reported in some Lenovo Personal Cloud Storage devices that could allow a remote authenticated user to move or access files belonging to other users on the same device. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113874 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SmileCDR HAPI FHIR allows an untrusted bundle body to replace a partition identity previously established by a trusted source, and does not enforce storage partition entitlement by default. An attacker authorized for one tenant can read from or write to another tenant's partition. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2025-59835 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | LangBot is a global IM bot platform designed for LLMs. In versions 4.1.0 up to but not including 4.3.5, authorized attackers can exploit the /api/v1/files/documents interface to perform arbitrary file uploads. Since this interface does not strictly restrict the storage directory of files on the server, it is possible to upload dangerous files to specific system directories. This is fixed in version 4.3.5. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110108 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | MateCloud through 5.0.8 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows any authenticated user to manage object storage by calling the unprotected /api/v1/admin/storage endpoints in StorageController. Low-privilege or self-registered users can supply arbitrary bucket and objectName values to list objects, obtain pre-signed download URLs for other users' files, delete objects, and upload at chosen keys. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-87664 | 8.5 high | 0.00% | broadcom, fabric_operating_system | A session context forgery vulnerability exists in the web management daemon of Brocade Fabric OS versions 9.2.2d and 10.0.0 through 10.0.0a1. When processing local inter-process communication (IPC) storage callbacks, the service accepts and registers session structures including administrative role permissions, user identifiers, and authorization flags—without verifying the identity or authenticity of the sending process. An attacker can obtain elevated administrative privileges on the web management interface without legitimate authentication. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-71423 | 8.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Edgelesssys Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions 1.9.0 before 1.12.2, the initializer logs the full NewMeshCert response — which contains the workload secret — to standard output at INFO level. As a result, workload secrets are exposed to any Kubernetes user with get or list permission on pods/logs. Because workload secrets are used for encrypted storage and Vault integration, those must also be considered compromised. This is a regression of GHSA-h5f8-crrq-4pw8. | 14 Oct |
